  2. As the decade comes to an end with 2020 closing in on us in a few days, reminiscence is probably a good or a bad idea, depending on what you are reminiscing. As far as music is concerned, the latest remake of Husn Hai Suhana got me thinking about all the iconic 90s dancing songs we all continue dancing to. Here are 15 such tracks that we absolutely love: 1. Husn Hai SuhanaThe new version of this song has been trending since yesterday but nothing beats the charm of this original track. 2. Sona Kitna Sona HaiAnother Govinda song on the list which had all of us dancing to this song from Hero No. 1. 3. Saat Samundar PaarEven today, I don’t recall one single party which ends without people grooving and clapping to this one! 4. Main Kudi Anjaani HoWho can forget the gorgeous Sushmita Sen swooning to this refreshing track! All the girls went crazy copying this number at weddings. 5. Ole OleAll guys loved and wished it was their background life track for real! 6. Kisi Disco Main JaayeI have been personally dreaming of converting this song into reality throughout the pandemic because all I want to do is go to a disco, or go out and eat! 7. Tamma TammaBappi Lahiri’s gift to all our play lists which continues to play even today. 8. Mehendi Laga Ke RakhnaOkay this might be a wedding number avidly, but we all have danced to this track while growing up so obviously it had to be on our list. 9. Chaiyya ChaiyyaHaven’t we all dreamt of dancing on a train like SRK when this iconic dance number broke all records when it was released? 10. Yeh Kaali Kaali AankheinYepp, I know you sang ‘Tu ru ru’ and completed this sentence before I could. So I basically don’t need to tell you why it's on my list. 11. Chunnari ChunnariThat shimmy, flowing red scarf and just imagining dancing to this one with a good looking human was my inspiration for playing it all through my school life. 12. Tera Rang Balle BalleFor some weird reason, I recall this playing on every 90s birthday party, especially when we played musical chairs as the music stopped right when we shouted ‘naiyo naiyo’. 13. Kay Sera SeraI love this track and I am pretty sure you do too! Still feels like it was released yesterday. 14. Tan Tana TanThis one was repackaged and released again when the movie was remade but isn’t it still fun to dance to this iconic song from the 90s? 15. Jumma ChummaThis list would have been incomplete without this song, so it obviously had to be here. View the full article
  3. Every production house dreams of having their movies do well in different parts of the world and one of the most effective ways to do so is by having them dubbed in the languages spoken in those regions. In India, Marvel Studios has obviously built a massive fan base and wishes to capitalise in every way possible in order to drive in more and more audiences, including having famous celebrities do voice-over for the hindi version of the films. Here are five Bollywood heroes who dubbed for famous Marvel movie characters in Hindi: 1. Tiger Shroff - Peter Parker A very big fan of the Spider-Man franchise, Tiger Shroff was reached out to lend his voice for a young high-school-going Peter Parker and the actor wasted no time going for it. You can check out his work as a voice-over artist in Spider-Man: Homecoming. 2. Ranveer Singh - Deadpool Ranveer Singh brought his quirky nature to being the Hindi-version of Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson character in Deadpool 2. The Canadian actor even acknowledged his Indian counterpart’s work in a Twitter thread. Well if I tried to curse in Hindi, pretty sure there would be an international incident. https://t.co/cxeRIiUy5o — Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) May 7, 2018 Varun Dhawan - Steve Rogers Kind of a questionable pick to do voice over for Captain Rogers, especially since Sanket Mhatre, a veteran of the dubbing industry, was already doing such a great job, Varun Dhawan didn’t receive a lot of positive feedback for his work in Captain America: Civil War. Gaurav Chopra - Thor Amongst other things, the hindi television actor, Gaurav Chopra is also known for his heavy voice and was a perfect match to play the role of Chris Hemsworth’s ‘God of Thunder’ character in Thor: Ragnarok. Rajesh Khattar - Tony Stark Known for lending his voice to some of the most iconic movie characters like Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean, Magneto in The X-Men, Johnny Blaze in Ghost Rider, Rajesh Khattar did justice to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame in 2019. 4. Celebrated as a carnival across the globe, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has a knack for bringing some of the biggest names in international cricket together. The sight of teammates becoming rivals and rivals playing in the same team has surely captured the imagination of fans. That probably explains why IPL remains one of the most popular T20 tournaments in the world. The thirteenth edition of the IPL, currently underway in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the camaraderie between players is once again at its peak. England teammates Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer were recently seen enjoying a fun rapid-fire round session, organised by Rajasthan Royals, which was thoroughly loved by fans. From revealing their bowling idol to opening the lid on the biggest influence in their life, the Rajasthan duo was seen asking each other some interesting questions. But, there was one particular question that grabbed everyone's attention. Stokes was seen asking Archer: "What is your favourite Hindi word?" before adding, "not sure you can say that". Agreeing with his teammate, Archer responded: "Yeah, No I cannot, I cannot". Archer, then, revealed his go-to Hindi word: "Jaldi". The England fast-bowler also reminded Stokes of his favourite word by saying: "You can say Ben Stokes as well". In response, Stokes said: "My name has been turned into a Hindi word". Last year, Stokes had taken to Twitter to express his frustration at the usage of his name as an alternative for an infamous Indian expletive by cricket fans. "I may delete Twitter just so I don't have to see another tweet reading "He's saying Ben Stokes" (when he's clearly not) in reply to a video of Virat saying you know what. it was funny the first 100,000 times," Stokes had tweeted. On the cricketing front, Stokes and Archer will need to be at their prolific best when they take the field in the crucial match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 1st November. With 12 points in 13 games, so far, Rajasthan have a slight chance of making the cut for the all-important Playoffs and a win over KKR will surely turn the odds in their favour. View the full article
  5. A lot of times we dislike a few Bollywood songs but they later get stuck in our heads. After all, many Bollywood songs don’t really make any sense and are offensive and even sexist in many ways. Half the songs are remixes of old songs and have unnecessary rap in between that will make you think that you don’t like a particular song. However, after a few days, you’d end up getting stuck wherein you’d be listening to the same songs that you once hated on loop. So, here are 5 Bollywood dancing songs that we all initially hated but now can’t do without it- Ghungroo - War The song is from Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer film that performed extremely well at the box office. However, a lot of us didn’t like the song Ghungroo featured in the film but now almost everyone who likes to dance knows the hook step of this song. Akh Lad Jave – Loveyatri The film released in the year 2018 and starred Warrina Hussain and Aayush Sharma in the lead roles but couldn’t do well at the box office at all. However, this song soon became a hit and even after two years, you’ll see people listening to it. Dilbar -Satyameva Jayate Everyone would agree that most of us dislike remixes but this one, we’d just listen so that we can look at Nora Fatehi’s moves. This song gets you in the party feels and we don’t mind if the DJ plays this song. Kamariya – Stree Honestly, most of us don’t even remember this song’s lyrics but the beat of this song would want to dance. This song also showcases Nora Fatehi doing the magic that she does and no one would ever want to miss that. Dheeme Dheeme - Pati Patni Aur Woh Most of us are still struggling with the hook step of this song but now we have come up with our own steps. This song is played at every party and sometimes even when you’re going on just a long drive, this song will get you in the part feels. View the full article

  8. Breaking all previous records, Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun turned out to be a huge success and it has already been a trend to remake popular movies down South. It all started with Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singhâs blockbuster success, which was the official adaptation of Vijay Deverakondaâs Telugu film Arjun Reddy. Now, we have Kartik Aaryan stepping into the shoes of Allu Arjun. Stating the reason behind roping in Kartik, a source told an entertainment website, âAllu Arjun and S Radha Krishna are now teaming up one more time to produce Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Hindi. The script is in place and they have even got a director on board to helm the project. Rohit Dhawan, who earlier directed Desi Boyz and Dishoom will be captaining this one. The makers wanted to make it with a young Gen-Y star who has a good audience base.â View this post on InstagramPhir se sexy dikhne ka mann kar raha hai Daadhi nikaal dun? ð¶ð»A post shared by (@kartikaaryan) Kartik has also been narrated the script and he apparently loved it and has given a nod to the movie. The team is currently figuring out his dates and will lock the schedule once everything is back to normal. Well, Kartik has a great fan following and fans do love his acting kills but people arenât sure if he can actually match up to Allu Arjunâs swag in the original movie. kaha AlluArjun. kaha ye kartik aaryan. Can't imagine him in the hindi remake of #AlaVaikunthapurramuloo I think only one person can have that kind of screen presence that is @alluarjun himself. So plzz #Bollywood don't ruin such a beautiful film â Aritra Banerjee (@AritraB86945968) April 17, 2020Clearly, people arenât in favour of Kartik Aaryan taking up the role or even remaking the popular film for that matter. From remaking original songs to movies, I, sometimes, feel the trend should disappear for a bit. On movie becoming a hit, Allu Arjun had earlier said, âThe producers announced that Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is an industry hit. This isn't my victory, but a token of appreciation from the Telugu audience. If a film sets a new record, it doesn't mean the hero is a rank above, but the audience has shown their love towards the respective film, as a whole. I am overwhelmed with the response to the film and I couldn't have asked for more.â The movie has a separate fan base and people in North India have also loved it for the refreshing content. The film tells the story of a young man, who is raised in a typical middle-class household and learns that he is the sole heir of an affluent family. Would you be interested in seeing the Bollywood remake or do you think itâs better kept untouched? View the full article

  12. As Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team are busy contemplating on ways to defeat Kane Williamson and the New Zealand cricket team in the two-match Test series after facing a whitewash in the ODI series in 22 years, there is another man, who has the nation on its toes, especially when it comes to his future with the squad. Former Indian captain and wicket-keeper batsman, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has made no announcements about his plans as an international cricketer, but is clearly having the time of his life spending some quality time with his ex-teammates, Parthiv Patel and Piyush Chawla. In a recent video shared by Viral Bhayani from his Instagram account, the 2011 World Cup winning captain can be seen listening to some old Hindi songs in a menâs washroom with some of his close friends, including former international cricketers Parthiv Patel and Piyush Chawla. First, it was his decision to go on a two-month sabbatical to fulfil his duty as a part of the Indian Army, then he further extended it till November. Then in the final week of November, Dhoni said âJanuary tak mat poocho (don't ask me till January),â thereby further extending his off days by two more months. Having lost to Rohit Sharmaâs Mumbai Indians in the finals last year, this season has to be all about redemption for âThalaâ. However, even before the season begins, Dhoni can be seen headlining another major event as he will be joining forces with Virat Kohli and Sharma to participate in the IPL All-Star Game which is scheduled to take place on March 24. 15. I am not going to take away any credit from Murali Kartik for his efforts to make Indian pacer Navdeep Saini feel comfortable during the post-match ceremony. The 27-year-old bowler put on a show as he went on to scalp two wickets while giving away just 18 runs in four overs. 4⣠overs 1â£3⣠dot balls 2⣠wickets 2⣠catches Navdeep Saini was the pick of the bowlers as Sri Lanka manage just 142#INDvSL https://t.co/2JSnJZDHf2 pic.twitter.com/zKocguf4hr — ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) January 7, 2020 For his ability to not give away runs while removing important batsmen like opener Danushka Gunathilaka and Bhanuka Rajapaksa from the crease, he was recognised as the 'Player of the Match' and given a price reward worth Rs. 1 lakh. After receiving the award, Kartik invited Saini for a quick word. Knowing that the Karnal-born was not too comfortable communicating in English, the interviewer switched to Hindi. The only problem though was it felt as if he simply translated his questions using Google Translate. And to be fair, Kartik was doing a decent job unless he asked him about the two wickets that he took. “Dono mein se kaunse wicket ne aapko zada anand diya,” asked the former Indian leg spinner. But you have got to give it to Saini for not letting a smile sneak out during his time on the microphone. Ahead of Jasprit Bumrah's return to the field, many bowlers got the opportunity to prove their worth to the team and earn a spot in the 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup and Saini has shown the most potential amongst those pacers who aren't in the regular rotation in the international roster. So we saw Navdeep Saini bowl a 107 kph ball, a 135 kph ball, & yes the 147 kph ball! Wow! ððð — Sanjay Manjrekar (@sanjaymanjrekar) January 7, 2020 "Saini is a different case [in T20 cricket] because he has come from the domestic set-up into the IPL and into the Indian team," Indian skipper Virat Kohli had said about the pacer in Guwahati. "So, he has bowled quite a bit and has a good understanding of lines and lengths and he's obviously got pace,” he said. © AP "The first thing is to be confident, and only then can you bring in variations," Saini told Kartik. "I liked the yorker [to Gunathilaka] more because I nailed it better than expectations. I play both red-ball and white-ball cricket, and hence the more I play, the better I will get at them. When I made my T20 debut, all I thought of was pace. But as I have played more, I have realised that variations are important too,” he added. View the full article

  17. 2019 saw some pretty interesting line-up in terms of the movies we got to watch, and while there were some good movies which we have been recommending throughout the year, there are some that left a really sour taste in our mouths. However, in case you have a score to settle with someone and you need a list of movies to recommend to someone you don't like at all, then this list shall help: 1. Notebook I mean there's an iconic movie by the same name which is everyone's favourite cheesy romance movie and then there is this which made us sad in terms of its content. An army officer finds the notebook of a teacher called Firdaus and love follows. 2. Pagalpanti I don't have to explain much since the name is self-explanatory. Recommend this movie to someone you absolutely don't like! 3. SOTY 2 Well, well, what can I say? This movie made the good looking Tiger Shroff also look like a lame, under-fed tiger, sadly. High school romances can look pretty, but this movie has no story, no aesthetics and sadly, passable music as well. 4. Kalank Want to recommend a romantic saga to a couple you absolutely despise? Trust this movie to make them weep tears of thank you notes washed in anger for you. 5. Total Dhamaal The first movie from the Dhamaal franchise was a laugh riot and that is exactly what the person you dislike will presume when you recommend this one. They will watch it and boom, hate vows with you shall be renewed. 6. Jabariya Jodi I absolutely loved the pairing of Parineeti and Sidharth in Hasee Toh Phasee and somehow, this movie just washed away what I saw in this cute pairing. Just let your enemy stream this movie to get some aesthetic cringe in their lives. View the full article
  18. There is a difference between borrowing an idea and blatantly copying an idea, and sometimes Bollywood goes a notch higher when it takes up an English movie and remakes it with some bad ingredients. Not every copy is a success and here are seven Hindi movies which were poorly copied from Hollywood and then were absolutely ruined for fans. 1. Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi It was a YRF movie with clichéd elements like a big happy family, a pretty looking leading lady, lots of music and fantasy. Yet it failed to match the original spunk of My Best Friend's Wedding as Uday Chopra tried hard to recreate what Julia Roberts' character did in the original. 2. Murder In 2002, the Richard Gere starrer Unfaithful surprised fans with a bold script and really well-twisted plots. Come 2004, the famous Murder series marks its arrival with Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat in the lead. The one thing that surely worked for this was the kind of boldness that Bollywood was not acquainted with yet, and the great music which made it memorable. Still, it didn't match the original. 3. Deewane Huey Pagal This multi-starrer romantic comedy starring Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal chasing Rimi Sen as the girl they love was a dud at the box office and was a poor copy of There's Something About Mary which had Cameron Diaz play the woman who was being wooed by her suitors. 4. Main Aisa Hi Hoon A sensitive script lifted from I Am Sam about a doting father with disabilities trying to fight for the custody of his daughter. Ajay Devgn had some powerful scenes but it was nothing compared to the original which had Sean Penn in the lead. 5. God Tussi Great Ho You know a movie is a poor attempt of copying a brilliant script when a star cast of Big B, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra can also not save it from drowning. Borrowed completely from Jim Carrey's Bruce Almighty, this one was a major flop. 6. Brothers Except for looking at the great physiques of Sidharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar fighting it out in the ring, this movie was a lame copy of the original, Warrior, a story about two half brothers turning into mortal enemies in the ring. 7. Kucch To Hai A blatant copy of I Know What You Did Last Summer, this movie saw terrible acting from the leads Tusshar Kapoor and Esha Deol. View the full article
  19. Every time you open the newspaper, there's a report on crime against a woman, be it sexual or physical. India is slowly regressing towards 'no country for women' and that makes us really sad. But even though you read the word rape ever so often in the Indian context, rape is a global reality and in some countries the number of rapes are as many or more than in India. © Facebook/El Comercio While we blame the authorities for not keeping our surroundings secure, we do know that building a mass movement makes a larger impact than anything else, more than waiting for authorities to implement proper safety measures around the city, which have failed us miserably in the past. That's why on November 20, women protesters came out on to the streets of the city of Santiago, Chile, reciting powerful words of a poem titled 'A Rapist On Your Way'. The women wearing black were blindfolded, all of them wearing lipstick and chanting 'El violador eres tu (The rapist is you).' © Facebook/El Comercio The protest was organised by Las Tesis, a women's collective in Santiago, who got thousands of women together on the streets to start a movement which has today become a global outcry, especially the words of the anthem the women were heard singing which have picked up a grave momentum and have been chanted all over the world. The videos from the protest went viral all over and because India is going through the same situation, reached the ears of our women, and rightfully so! They say empathy during a difficult situation heals everything in time and while there's a long way to go where healing is concerned for the years of subjugation and violence women have undergone, India could heavily relate to the Chilean protest and how! After the Hyderabad rape of the vet, where her body was tormented and burnt and the Unnao rape victim's death recently after she was stabbed and set ablaze, India's outrage will never cease to exist, at least for another decade or so, or till things become better. So, on December 7, 2019, a group of Indian women kept the anthem alive, by getting out on the streets in Delhi's Jantar Mantar, to chant their own version of the Chilean 'A Rapist In Your Way', complete with blindfolds and slogans. Hundreds gathered for a flash mob protest at Jantar Mantar against rapes and the complete breakdown of law to bring justice to rape victim families on a day when #Unnao rape victim, who was brutally burnt, lost her life. #ReporterDiary (@milan_reports) pic.twitter.com/aHs9EYfoiu — India Today (@IndiaToday) December 7, 2019 The Indian chapter was held at Jantar Mantar, Connaught Place at 3pm, and it built enough momentum with people pouring in as and when. Even men joined the slogan, echoing the same sentiment and it was the best form of unity we've seen, where gender roles and biases are concerned in the country. The Indian chapter was titled 'A Rapist in Your Way Intervention India Chapter In Solidarity'. © Facebook/El Comercio The protest aimed to address violence of any form against women in the country and it really fell on deaf ears when everyone was chanting it together. “And the fault wasn't mine, not where I was, not how I dressed And the fault wasn't mine, not where I was, not how I dressed And the fault wasn't mine, not where I was, not how I dressed And the fault wasn't mine, not where I was, not how I dressed The rapist is you. The rapist is you. It's the cops, The judges, The state, The president. The oppressive state is a rapist. The oppressive state is a rapist.” While this poem may not mean anything to a few, it actually is a solid mirror that reflects our society. It's not how women dress, or carry themselves or what they do that 'provoke' the men. It's what they expect from the government and the authorities, when they're helplessly tortured and tormented. And sadly so, the authorities and the government have always failed them. The state has failed them. While 'enough is enough' has also become a popular slogan in the country, casual sexism, oppression and harassment still happen openly all over, apart from more heinous crimes like rape. We aspire to live in a country where women are free to walk, talk, dress, have ***, most importantly, breath and believe in themselves with confidence and a heightened sense of self and that will only happen if we let go of archaic norms from the society and newer ones, where women are respected and cared for, take shape. Interestingly, Ayesha was fluent with her Hindi and had a better command over the language than most of the millennials in our country. People on Twitter were impressed with her fluent Hindi and appreciated the actor for putting the video on social media. One of the users wrote, âLet's take a moment and appreciate her command on the language that is totally alien to her. That too by just watching Hindi movies. 21. Ranveer Singh can literally turn anything into an eyebrow-raising outfit. The fact that the inspiration for his outfits comes from everything around him is what makes his outfits out of ordinary. Case in point: pulling off an outfit inspired from the film Joker. Who would have thought that a brilliant film like Joker could be an inspiration for Ranveer Singh but not just in terms of acting? © Viral Bhayani Now, for a recent event, he wore a head to toe Gucci outfit with vibrant red three-piece with a coordinated green tie, he finished the look with a matching red beret, a pair of shades and derbys, all by Gucci. However, the whole vibe of the outfit matched Joker's aesthetic from the scene wherein he had lost all morality in the film. The outfit references to this scene in particular wherein the Joker kills his coworker and struts across the streets of Gotham. © Joker Ranveer Singh's look clearly holds a striking resemblance to this look. This is not the first time Ranveer Singh has worn something bizarre. He usually chooses pieces to curate an outfit that is outlandish. In fact, he's the trendsetter when it comes to bizarre, over-the-top fashion and has made these trends acceptable here which is a commendable achievement.
  22. Fans still aren't over their Kabir Singh hangover, and now, we're being told that Shahid Kapoor is all set to star in a Bollywood remake of yet another Telugu blockbuster titled Jersey. Set against the backdrop of a man's passion to make it to the National Cricket Team, Jersey traces the journey of an aspiring cricketer Arjun, as he faces multiple challenges and failures along the way. © Instagram/Shahid Kapoor One of 2019's greatest hits down South, the film starred popular Telugu actor Nani in the lead role, and Shahid is all set to take over from him in the Hindi remake, and perhaps deliver yet another box office hit with this one. While fans are all excited about the Nani-Shahid faceoff, here are 5 things definitely worth cheering about Shahid's next Jersey: 1. The Director © Twitter/ Film Companion The Bollywood remake of Jersey is being helmed by the same director who created the Telugu blockbuster - Gowtam Tinnanuri. This is his second time delivering a box office hit as a director. Tinnanuri's directorial debut Malli Raava (2017) was very well-received and was followed by the massive success of Jersey earlier this year. However, it will be interesting to see how Tinnanuri appropriates the film for a Hindi audience, or if he will make some definitive changes to the script, now that Shahid has been cast in the lead role. 2. Shahid's First Mainstream Sports-Oriented Film © yash raj films Jersey is out-and-out a sports drama, and we are extremely excited to see how Shahid pulls off the role of an aspiring cricketer in this film. We already got a glimpse of Shahid as a passionate sportsman in Kabir Singh, and we are expecting to witness the same level of passion for cricket in this film. Also, this will be the first time Shahid will be starring in a mainstream sports-oriented film (and that too cricket), so cricket fans shall surely be expecting a lot out of him. 3. Shahid Playing A Dad On-Screen For The First Time © Instagram/Shahid Kapoor While Kabir Singh left us with the news that Kabir is a soon-to-be father, Jersey will see Shahid play a reel-life father for the very first time. The plot of the movie follows the endearing tale of a father and son's relationship which is based purely on love and trust, sans any form of judgement and expectations. Now, while we have all gotten multiple glimpses of Shahid as a real-life father, it will be interesting to see how he delivers the emotions on-screen. 4. The Female Lead © Instagram/RashmikaMandanna While no formal announcement has been made about the casting for the female lead in the Hindi remake of Jersey, it is being reported that 'Karnataka Crush' Rashmika Mandanna might be roped in opposite Shahid. If reports are true, this will be Rashmika Mandanna's Bollywood debut, and she will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film as Shahid's girlfriend and wife. 5. Playing An Arrhythmia Patient © Sithara Entertainments Essaying a character suffering from heart arrhythmia should be an interesting challenge for Shahid to present in front of the camera. Often bordering on serious fatalities, we are excited to see how Shahid pulls off the part of presenting obvious symptoms of the ailment and yet, veiling them successfully from the world, like the plot of the film demands.
  23. Mesut Ozil might not have been as influential as he once was in recent times, but there is no shortage of fanfare for the German footballer. Often labelled as one of the best midfielders in the world, Ozil continues to be a vital cog for Unai Emery's Arsenal as the Gunners chase a top-four finish in the Premier League this season. Even if he didn't get enough starts for Arsenal this season, Ozil continues to enjoy a strong fanbase, especially in India. The 30-year-old shares a special bond with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. And he's often seen engrossed in friendly banters with our 'Gully Boy' which has taken his fanbase to a new high in India. Mesut Magic is a global phenomenon! :) India loves you, Mesut Bhai! — Ranveer Singh (@RanveerOfficial) March 5, 2019 But, for someone who is used to being chased by fans for autographs and selfies, Ozil had a fanboy moment recently when he met 'Bollywood Badshah' Shah Rukh Khan. As Arsenal fans celebrated their rise to the third spot (for the first time since April 2017), Ozil thanked Shah Rukh, in Hindi, for attending their game as a special guest.
