  18. If you're looking for someone to date or fall in love with in 2019, your timing couldn't be perfect. I don't just mean that because it's a brand new year and it's still the beginning, but because 2019 is a marvellous year of revelations and strengthening certain aspects about how you react to things around you. Just like how everything happens with an evolutionary spin, dating too takes that curve every once a while and permits us to seek new rules every time we want to start exploring the world with someone. Apart from the rules you need to stick to, for dating in different cities, there are something's which are stagnant and unanimous, in terms of qualifying as the 'deal breaker'. And for a man, in 2019 particularly, it's his tryst with honesty. © Eros International Even with a heavy spin off on finding the 'perfect match' at a brink of a second, we're still looking for folds of realism in people we ardently want to be with and if things aren't real, it's difficult to define what the intent actually is. The crux of everything a man is today or what he should be doing, is all matched up to how honest he is as a human being and if he's indeed as honest as he should be, greater good does come his way. In relationships though, which are certainly not archaic anymore, honesty has become a trivial concept and it certainly shouldn't be one. Because people are dishonest they move away and start swiping again but if you're honest to one another, you're amorous, even though you want to head in different directions eventually. So here are 4 pertinent things every man should definitely be honest about, if he's looking to date in 2019: (1) What You Really Want From Her The new year brings a new age, or that's the easiest assumption I summon. No, really, can we go a little old school here? Remember a time when there were no dating apps or much of social media influencing our decisions? We would take time to wonder and think what we really want out of a dynamic? Yes, let's bring that back. Be open about what you really want because honestly, women are done with men playing games or giving them the chase. If you want an open relationship, be vocal about it, if you want to be in a relationship, there's no harm sharing that, if you just want something casual, let it out, but there isn't any point of being dishonest about your intent, because when she finds out you're dishonest, you'll just be a man who lies and gets away with it! © Fox Star Studios (2) Are You Commitment Phobic? A commitment phobic person could break at any point in time. If you're not ready for a commitment, don't dazzle her with your charm and leave her to figure the rest. Let her know that commitment scares you and even if you really want to be with her and the big 'C' gets in the way, ask her to help you out with it. Maybe she can help you take it slow, maybe she can opt for something casual with you. Who knows? and you won't know either unless you voice out your very obvious concern. Don't let her find out through some 10,000 alarming signals you let off, during the day. © Fox Star Studios (3) That Sexism Scares You, Not Feminism Yup, as text-bookish as I may sound right about now, it's actually true. Be wary, you're always judged for that and that's not because women want to judge you till you evaporate, it's because equality is very important for them and if you're on the same wavelength, hallelujah! Women have found a voice in 2019, well they had one way before too, maybe you just weren't listening. But now, if you hear, they're saying it's okay to understand what they really need and want from a man, which doesn't reek of sexist behaviour and aligns with some feminist ideology. It certainly doesn't mean you have to embrace everything in the name of feminism, it just means you have to start being equals. Chivalry is great but maybe go dutch on the bill? Let her drive you for a change or even pull a chair back for you? © Eros International (4) Be Honest About Your Long-Term Goals You can slip it into a conversation or just have a long conversation and disclose all you want to about what you're looking at, in 2019. You could be looking at getting married or maybe just being with someone, whatever it is, being honest about it, rather than shying away from it is way easier and classier, might I add. © Yash Raj Films You could add-on more honest things to be honest about other than these 4 pointers and make a classic example of how you've understood what I am trying to say, or you can just press the little obnoxious cross on the top-right corner of your window and close this article, but let me tell you this- Who doesn't love an honest man? He can live a tough life but he'd never be forgotten and that's how important a role honesty really plays, in society and of course in 2019, today.

  24. Introverts, asocial people are a unique and rare breed of people who have been suffering all their lives. via GIPHY We have suffered at the hands of friends, family, colleagues and most of the times, have been victims of this one evil thing- 'socialising'. via GIPHY I can't tell you how many times I have sacrificed my hard-earned weekend or a day-off, just because my friends have a feeling of 'doing something'. Whydafaq do they come to me for that? Sure, I am a good friend. But, why me? WHY ME OF ALL THE PEOPLE? via GIPHY I'm sure I'm not the only one who cries like a little girl at the mention of parties, as I am confident there are many closeted anti-social people out there too, who have no choice, but to silently suffer through this torturous inhuman ritual. via GIPHY So, here are 10 honest thoughts, that I am pretty confident anyone who hates a gathering of more than 2 people, has had at some point: 1. A Selection Of Swearwords That Can't Be Mentioned Here via GIPHY My personal favourites are the F word, the B word, the C word and a few more selections from the alphabet chart, in a variety of wonderful pronunciations. Honestly, seeing myself being added to a group chat with the name 'PARTAY DIS WEEKND!$$$' is enough to make my eyes and ears and other orifices bleed with anger. 2. Can I Fake My Own Death? via GIPHY It's a valid option. They can't ask me to come if I am dead, right? Right? Oooh, but how will I fake it again next week? Damn, I need a way around this. 3. I Want To Kill All My Friends So I Don't Have To Go Out Tonight via GIPHY I love my gang so much, I really do, but this is one of those rare moments that I wish that the creepy little girl from 'The Ring' would come out of their TV screens and drag them down that well! 4. Again? We Just Went Out Drinking 5 Months Ago! via GIPHY I mean, exactly how much alcohol does one need in their life? Ok, wait, let me rephrase that. How much expensive alcohol does one need to drink in public, noisy place? Nothing beats the comfort of chugging beer and munching chips in the comfort of your home, on your couch, in your sweats or nothing, with a great show to binge on. Raise your hands if you feel me fam! 5. This Is The Worst Day Of My Life via GIPHY 'Day' can also become plural, depending on the type of friends one has. Some lucky bastards have the best pals who almost never ask them out for anything, unless it's an extremely crucial situation…like some poor bugger getting married or something. In moments like those, I have no choice but to go and offer my condolences. It's only polite. 6. Where Is Harry Potter's Invisibility Cloak When You Need One? via GIPHY Oh, I can totally see myself using the f*** out of that deathly hallow in a party to end my boredom! Imagine putting it on, and going around the room doing mischievous things. Like pouring drinks down my friend's pants, messing up some chick's hair and making her think my friend did it! Oh, let your imagination run wild, my friend! 7. Dear God, Please Give Me A Life Threatening Disease RIGHT NOW via GIPHY Anything will do, anything that will last for a few hours, enough to get me out of an evening with my friends, whom I love oh-so-very-much. I swear, I'm not an evil person…just asocial! 8. How Dare They Invite Me? I Get ONE Weekend To Myself! via GIPHY It's downright rude and inconsiderate! After busting my butt for 6 days, I get ONE golden day to myself where I can do anything I want, and these people have the nerve to think I will come allll the way to the other end of town, spend copious amounts of cash on food and drinks that I can have for free at my place, and then come back home at 3 in the morning like some caveman, all wasted? Oh, hell to the no! 9. How Do I Abuse My Friends Without Hurting Their Feelings? via GIPHY This is a genuine question. Please feel free to help a bro out in the comments section. Because I for sure have a tongue that can put Draco Malfoy to shame! I don't want to lose my friends but I also want to tell them to f*** off, in the most polite and respectful manner. Any ideas? 10. When The F*** Can I Go Back Home & Play With My Dog? via GIPHY This is the only thing running through my brain like a ticker on a news channel whenever I'm on a night out. No matter how loud the music, how attractive the people, this is all I can think of. My beautiful baby is waiting home for me. Poor thing must be so scared. Oh God, what if he eats that lizard he has been eyeing for days? I NEED TO GO HOME NOW! I WANNA HUG MY BUD! I WANT MY DOG!
  25. Do you remember your first job interview? That nervousness of walking inside the room where employers are eagerly waiting to scan and judge you on the basis of your CV. In fact, most of us lost the game solely because someone else's CV was stronger than ours. Writing an impressive resume is one of the hardest steps in the quest to get a job. You probably had to take advice from your parents or elder siblings on where to start and efficiently list down your skills, qualifications and achievements. While most of us got the best suggestions to ace our resume game, I am sure a certain 16-year-old Lauren Moore from North Yorkshire is currently regretting (or maybe not) her decision to let her dad write her resume. Lauren Moore/ Twitter The CV looked like a generic one with everything mentioned such as achievements, grades, skills and experience; but it was the content inside that was pure gold. He mentioned 'giving out all clients' information to fraudsters', 'digging holes looking for gold', 'browsing Facebook' and 'f**king everything up' as responsibilities and 'lazy', 'late', 'rude' and 'couldn't give a f**k' as skills and personal qualities. Lauren Moore/ Twitter At least now we know who is not getting a job anytime soon. Lauren posted this hilarious CV on social media with the caption, "Remind me not to let my dad do my CV for me." Well, it's too late Lauren! And this ingenious dad made sure not to miss out on the most important part of the CV - reference. While we list our seniors or former colleagues, he listed a probation officer called Ben Dover and wrote, "Don't contact him, he doesn't give a f**k either." Lauren Moore/ Twitter Her friends and everyone else who read this masterpiece was left in splits and we're sure you too won't be able to hold your laughter as well, once you take a look at the incredible CV. So folks, the next time your parents tell you, "You cannot fool us! We know everything about you," do not take those words lightly. Who knows, they might have a CV ready for you as well.
