The proposal by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which includes India as a participating team alongside Australia, England and of course, Pakistan, will be formally tabled at the ICC Board meeting in Dubai next week. Exclusive: Ramiz Raja explains his proposals for a new annual quadrangular T20I tournament involving Pakistan, India, England and Australia @kalson — ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) January 12, 2022 According to the PCB's estimations, the planned quadrangular T20I event could generate up to USD 650 million in income for the four countries as well as the ICC. The plan, which would see Pakistan, India, England, and Australia compete in an annual single-league T20 tournament, will be formally tabled at the ICC Board meeting in Dubai next week. Ramiz Raja Has Said He Will Talk To Sourav Ganguly In A Bid To Propose A Four-nation Tournament, During The Asian Cricket Council Meeting In Dubai.#CricketTwitter #indvspak #IndianCricketTeam #PCB #BCCI #ViratKohli #MSDhoni #RohitSharma #RamizRaja #BabarAzam pic.twitter.com/SuIkoSFUV8 — Crickwik (@crickwik) March 15, 2022 The PCB has set a date in September-October for the event, which officials say is excellent because it marks the start of the season in Australia, India, and Pakistan, as well as near the end of the English season. Currently, the concept is for a single-league structure with six league games played over two weekends, with either a one-off or best-of-three finals. The tournament's hosting rights are expected to be rotated, and the ICC will have complete authority over the event. PCB is ready to propose quadrilateral T20 tournament which is expected to bring as much as $650Million revenue for four participants ie Pakistan Australia India England as well as ICC. Meanwhile 650M USD equals to roughly 119 Billion rupees in pakistani currency! (Espncric) — Arfa Feroz Zake (@ArfaSays_) April 1, 2022 The study estimates that such a tournament might generate USD 650 million in broadcast and commercial rights, with the proceeds split between the four teams and other ICC members. It is unclear how the revenue will be distributed, however it is expected that a considerable percentage will go to non-participating Full and Associate members. Ramiz Raja, the PCB chairman, has talked about the idea a lot since he took over last year, but there hasn't been much clarity about it until recently. Ramiz will introduce it formally in Dubai next week with board CEO Faisal Hasnain. The gathering is significant because it will provide members with the opportunity to help create the upcoming Future Tours Programme (FTP). He may be booted out before that https://t.co/dUr45D9f6S — YouMadeMeTurnLeft#FullyVaccinated (@shibinvj007) April 2, 2022Without @BCCI @TheRealPCB can't survive.. https://t.co/Uay3AeO6jk — ஓலைக்கணக்கன் (@Nattu_G) April 2, 2022 It has to be seen how it is received by others, and multiple roadblocks exist in the way for a variety of reasons, not least the strained relations between India and Pakistan. Because political relations between the two countries are at an all-time low, India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since 2012-13. Relations between the two cricket boards are also not particularly good; the teams only play each other during ICC events. Trying themselves to be relevant https://t.co/dDDyr2XNrZ — The.dude.abides (@abhi_ram06) April 2, 2022Indian fans to Ramiz Raja #IPL2022 #CricketTwitter #India#PakistanCricket https://t.co/EdBRmDwOqG pic.twitter.com/YCg9O6NEoX — Kriti Singh (@Kriti307) April 2, 2022 Having said that, when it comes to the idea of the tournament, it is evident that the hope of making it happen completely stems out of the fact that the PCB is wishing to keep themselves afloat financially and that revenue generated from the event can look after their expenses for the entire year. Exploring new ideas to bring financial stability is absolutely fine and essential for the survival of an organization. However, to market and promote it as a symbol of peace, love and harmony is where the double standards are set it. Such things can come only from PCB who wants entertainment and peace — Zaigham Haider (@CricCrazyHaider) April 2, 2022*PCB will beg — Hari Krishna (@HariKri63046024) April 2, 2022ICC be like - Good idea, we will allow Tri series among India, Australia and England — Priyanshu Choudhary (@im__pc11) April 2, 2022Pakistan to mra jaa rha India se series khelne ke liye.... What if this proposal is accepted by BCCI but Pakistan ki jagh New Zealand ko daal diya to ? Fir to Ramiz bhai ke sath comedy ho jayegi — TegtaJi (@iamtegtaharsh) April 2, 2022BCCI to PCB: pic.twitter.com/EkJW3VcrNO — 𝕾𝖆𝖛𝖆𝖌𝖊 ⟿ 𝖌𝖚 (@cypher_nxxt) April 2, 2022 The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Cricket Australia and the ECB are wealthy bodies that don’t necessarily need the extra earnings that will be coming out of this tournament, especially if it means over-stressing the players amid an already overwhelming schedule. Make no mistake, Raja and the PCB have the most to gain (and most to lose) depending upon the fate of the tournament. View the full article

  16. It was actor Sonu Sood who came forward and selflessly helped millions of migrant workers, Covid patients and literally anyone who reached out to him in the times of the pandemic. He became the SOS call for the people of India who instantly labelled him ‘messiah’, ‘saviour’, ‘Robin Hood’ and ‘real-life hero’ for his philanthropic work. © Instagram/Sonu Sood While he was going all out to help people in need, some wondered where he was getting so much money and funds from to spend so generously. While many said that it was smart investing and savings, others said it was hard work he had put in for years in one of the most money-making industries- Bollywood. © Instagram/Sonu Sood A few days ago, Sonu Sood’s various properties were searched by the Income Tax Department including his Mumbai home and 28 other locations (Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, Delhi, Gurugram) linked to him for three days in a row. The actor was also questioned by the I-T officials regarding the same. © Instagram/Sonu Sood After three days of search, the Income Tax department said on Saturday that the actor is involved in tax evasion of over Rs 20 crore. “During the course of search at the premises of #SonuSood and his associates, incriminating evidence pertaining to tax evasion has been found. The main modus operandi followed by @SonuSood had been to route his unaccounted income in form of bogus unsecured loans from many bogus entities,” said the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) in a statement. © Instagram/Sonu Sood Meanwhile, Twitter is divided over this major development. While some are surprised and wondering if the ‘messiah of the poor’ has in fact done an income tax fraud, others think he is being targeted because he tried to do some good in society. There is no social service, no messiah only vested opportunities. Always had this hunch that this fraud is hiding something in the garb of social service. Pehley AAP, now tax evasion #SonuSood Sonu Sood evaded tax of over ₹20 crore: Income Tax department https://t.co/mMJurYqR6l — Desh (@iDeshSharma) September 18, 2021Sonu Bhaiya kya kar diya ye. 20 crores ka hisaab kaun dega ..#SonuSood #IncomeTax — Mudit (@MuditHastir) September 18, 2021 Sonu Sood loyalists refuse to admit that the actor could be in the wrong and are supporting him. This comes after Sonu met AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a few days ago and speculations of him joining the party surfaced. Although Sood brushed off any such plans, his fans think that this is political propaganda against him. How dare Sonu sood to take away Modi’s credit by doing expectedly amazing work in the time of crisis and to set up an example on how a govt should’ve worked.? And then becoming brand ambassador for delhi govt. Income tax survey or raid is just a small thing. — Dhoni forever ☭ (@zindagijhandbaa) September 18, 2021Mr. Sonu sood ke 100 khoon maaf hain, he came forward during the corona crisis, he has already repaid the country through his service. He put the money to good use. #meraRobinhood — R Tandon (@tondonr) September 18, 2021 © Instagram/Sonu Sood The actor is yet to make a statement on this. So, let’s not jump to conclusions. 17. If you thought only IIM or IIT graduates end up being millionaires with high flying jobs or you need ‘papa ka paisa’ to accelerate your future then you are probably unaware of the things that happen in this majestic world. The income tax department of Kanpur has discovered something so fascinating, that it will probably make you think twice about your own job. Turns out, around 256 vendors selling ‘desi’ snacks like chaat, samosa and the likes are in fact millionaires. As per this discovery, several rag pickers in the city also own over three cars. © Twitter Wondering how this information came to light? Well, the Income tax department had to run a GST registration check in the city and with the help of some data software, they were able to uncover some more surprising facts. These ‘small time’ (as perceived) shopkeepers and fruit sellers who are basically millionaires have not paid taxes outside their GST registration in the last few years. Rather they saved up the money and on an average, over Rs. 375 crores worth of land was bought by them! Some of them have gone ahead and bought over 650 bighas of land in the rural areas surrounding Kanpur city and if you thought the lockdown was affecting your income, then you’d be shocked to know that some of these shop and cart owners in fact invested over five crores in buying more land. © Twitter Two sanitation workers from the areas of Lal Bangla were found to own properties worth 10 crores and according to a news report several other millionaire cart owners were found to have to never paid taxes or even registered for their GST number. We don’t know whether one should laugh at these revelations or feel sad about the state of our country. We as citizens forget that the condition of the future is in the hands of us only and the axes we pa View the full article
