  1. Apple has now started to manufacture the iPhone 7 in India which makes it the third device by the company that is being assembled locally. Previously, the company was assembling the iPhone SE and iPhone 6s in India as a part of the company's 'Made in India' initiative. © MensXP Apple said in an email to our sister website ET “We are proud to be producing iPhone 7 in Bengaluru for our local customers, furthering our long-term commitment in India,” According to Apple, two variants of the iPhone 7 i.e. 32GB and 128GB models will be manufactured in India and will sell for Rs 39,990 and Rs 49,990 respectively. The smartphone is being manufactured by Wistron, a Taiwanese contract manufacturer that will be assembling the iPhone 7 models. While making the iPhone 7 in India reduces the cost of manufacturing considerably, the Cupertino giant is not looking to slash the prices and instead use the extra funds for an aggressive marketing strategy in India. Previously, Tim Cook has admitted that the company has faced a decline in iPhone sales in emerging markets like India. The CEO attributed the struggle to issues like foreign exchange and “weak macro-transactions” which contributed towards slow iPhone sales in countries like India, Brazil and Russia. © MensXP iPhone 7 was launched by Apple in 2016 and features a 4.6-inch Retina HD Display. The smartphone is water and dust resistant and has a rating of IP67. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner called “Touch ID” at the front and is powered by Apple's A10 Fusion chip. 2. Yesterday, India was hit by one of the worst terrorist attacks with over 40 brave Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans losing their lives in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The attack that happened by Jaish terrorists targeted a convoy with a car bomb. The country is mourning the loss of all the martyred jawans and is praying for the speedy recovery of those injured. It's terrible how something like this is what it takes to unite the country but at least everyone is in this together. Just a few hours after the attack, father of martyred CRPF Personnel Ratan Thakur talked to ANI and in a heart-wrenching message said that he is willing to send his other son to fight as well for Mother India. CRPF Personnel Ratan Thakur's (who lost his life in #PulwamaTerrorAttack ) father in Bhagalpur: I have sacrificed a son in Mother India's service, I will send my other son as well to fight, ready to give him up for Mother India, but Pakistan must be given a befitting reply.#Bihar pic.twitter.com/rI6cM38Agh — ANI (@ANI) February 15, 2019 We can't even imagine how he must be feeling losing his son in such a heart-breaking cowardly attack but we know that he deserves all our respect. Even while going through such a tough time, he put on a brave face to tell everyone the most important thing right now, “I have sacrificed a son in Mother India's service, I will send my other son as well to fight, ready to give him up for Mother India, but Pakistan must be given a befitting reply.” People have nothing but respect for him and all the families mourning such a huge loss right now. Respect ðð Jab tak inke jaise pita iss desh mein hai, hamara ð®ð³ lahrata rahega. Salute ð®ð³ — Irony Man (@karanku100) February 15, 2019 Very important. This is a parallel India. Away from all the glamour, hi tech, modernisation, these people and their families silently protect us, without regrets, giving much more to the nation than most of us. Are we doing enough for them? No. But they don't complain either. — THE SKIN DOCTOR (@theskindoctor13) February 15, 2019 It shouldn't, it can't. My eyes are filled with tears today. i bow to you sir. 3. Ranveer Singh is known to be one of India's most candid and outspoken actors, who wears his heart on his sleeve and has a mouth to show for it too. Trust Ranveer to turn the most mundane activity into a fun-tastic one and spoil your senses with audio and visual proof of the same. So, recently, Ranveer proved this point once again when he caught up with trade analyst Komal Nahta on Zee Cafe's 'Starry Nights 2.Oh' where he made a revelation about his days as a struggling artist. He said that back in the day when he was a struggling actor, he dressed up as Arun from 'Mr. India' and showed up at casting director Shaano Sharma's house because he had heard the rumour that Shekhar Kapoor was all set to direct 'Mr. India 2'. View this post on Instagram Keep it ð¯ A post shared by Ranveer Singh (@ranveersingh) on Feb 8, 2019 at 9:45am PST “During my struggling days, it was rumoured that Shekhar Kapur was making Mr India 2 and I landed up at Shanoo Sharma's house dressed up as Anil Kapoor's character Arun,” Ranveer told Komal on the show. If it wasn't evident enough for his fans and followers, Ranveer just made it crystal clear that he can go to any lengths to get into the skin of the character and give his very best to every role that presents itself (or not). View this post on Instagram Uth jaa apni Raakh se, tu Udd jaa ab Talaash mein ð¦#mondaymotivation #gullyboy A post shared by Ranveer Singh (@ranveersingh) on Feb 10, 2019 at 9:57pm PST Be it is isolating himself from the world for 21 days to play Alauddin Khilji in 'Padmaavat' or doing his own groundwork and training with underground rappers for his upcoming release 'Gully Boy', Ranveer has always gone out of his way to make sure he gives 200 per cent to all his assignments. Talking about the kind of films he loves, where the hero is the master of the show and the film is larger than life, Ranveer said, “big muscles, big guns. Matlab mujhe bas yahi karna hai.” Ranveer couldn't have given a more earnest and honest reply than this.
  4. "Akalmand to tum ho, nakalmand ban sakte ho ya nahi?" says Emraan Hashmi to a student, in this gripping trailer of 'Cheat India' that dropped today. And from that very point, everyone who is watching the trailer knows where the movie is headed. © T-Series In our growing years, we were taught never to cheat in exams. As we grew up and entered class 12th and then college, cheating became a fad that got everyone addicted to it. The 2 minute video delves into that dark side of the Indian education system. © T-Series The trailer shows Emraan Hashmi's character hiring a brilliant student to sit in the engineering entrance exams on behalf of other students. What started out as a successful scamming strategy with the two men filling their pockets and of the needy, soon lands them in a pool of troubles with no exit out of it. 'Cheat India' is being directed by Soumik Sen, and produced by the makers of 'Neerja' and 'Tumhari Sulu'. Emraan Hashmi looks highly impressive in the trailer of the movie that is releasing on January 25, 2019.
  5. In May, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore started a fitness campaign urging all citizens to get fit. Within no time, this challenge blew up on social media, with all the prominent personalities including Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking this fitness challenge and making the hashtag 'Hum Fit Toh India Fit' break the internet. Twitter Fast forward to the present time and while most people seem to have forgotten about it, there are two actors who are giving major fitness goals to people across all age groups - Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor. While, we have already started feeling like a 40-year-old stuck in the body of a 25-year-old, Anil Kapoor at the age of 61, seems to be an epitome of health and fitness. We don't know what secret fountain of youth he is sipping from, but we sure want to steal some drops from it, if that's how one looks like after drinking it. Instagram The actor, who looks younger than people half his age, shared his workout video today, where he is seen sweating it out on a bicycle. He wrote, "There is no substitute for hard work"- Thomas A. Edison. #FitIndia #fitnessjunkie #fitspiration #workit". View this post on Instagram "There is no substitute for hard work" - Thomas A. Edison #FitIndia #fitnessjunkie #fitspiration #workit A post shared by anilskapoor (@anilskapoor) on Oct 4, 2018 at 12:21am PDT We are thoroughly impressed with Anil Kapoor's dedication towards fitness and for religiously following the 'Fit India' campaign, but he is not the only actor to do so. Bollywood's OG Khiladi, Akshay Kumar too is giving major fitness goals (that come with a safety warning) to his millions of fans. Akshay is currently in Jaisalmer, shooting for 'Housefull 4' and even in his busy schedule, he has managed to take some time out for his workout routine. View this post on Instagram Always been a fan of mornings...even more beautiful here in Jaisalmer. Doing a neck exercise today and I personally love exercising outdoors as it helps boost the body, mind and mood. What about you guys? #FitIndia A post shared by Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) on Sep 29, 2018 at 10:28pm PDT In fact, videos of him doing a neck exercise and shadow boxing while cycling free hands is scary to even imagine, let alone attempt them. View this post on Instagram âªFeeling free like you couldn't believe!! Working my #Core as I cycle No-handed on the deserted roads of Jaisalmer. Life is about Balance & Stability, as Functional as this may be, PLEASE don't try this on the Roadsðð¼ âª#FitIndia #RiseWithTheSun #Om A post shared by Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) on Oct 2, 2018 at 9:24pm PDT Kudos to him for going that extra mile to lead a healthier and fitter lifestyle.
  6. Varun Dhawan's latest movie 'Sui Dhaaga' has already generated enough buzz with its trailer that most movies fail to get even after the release (courtesy poor Anushka and the memes). As if that wasn't enough, he clearly has taken it upon himself to continue with it, in ways that are subtle but effective nonetheless. His latest airport appearance is proof, where he was spotted strolling out of the airport with a huge multicoloured turban on his head. Take a look. © Viral Bhayani Varun clearly has developed a strong affinity for Indian weaves and fabrics. The casual pink kurta he's wearing over his grey trousers is the perfect summer wear, when it comes to Indian ethnic wear. © Viral Bhayani The best thing about Varun's look is that it's delightfully desi, while not being overbearing at the slightest. Anyone who digs the 'cultured boy next door' vibe, will approve in a heartbeat. © Viral Bhayani While we completely dig the relaxed vibe, we aren't quite sure about the choice of shoes with that outfit. But well, the way he has just let his trousers hang loose over them shows he clearly is absolutely comfortable with how it has turned out, and sometimes that's all that matters, isn't it? © Viral Bhayani Coming to the 'hero' piece, we are completely in love with the multicoloured 'pagdi' he's sporting. The hues of magenta and blue are doing wonders to give it that playful, festive vibe, and Varun is all about that TBH - perhaps he even tried to physically emulate that bit of his personality through an accessory? © Viral Bhayani All we can say is we dig the look. Go for it, Varun!
  7. How often have you come across a trailer, that has every element in it to make it look like a promising blockbuster film? The trailer for Varun Dhawan & Anushka Sharma's 'Sui Dhaaga' Trailer falls under that category, as you are hooked right till the very last second. © YRF Coming from 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha's Sharat Katariya, the movie has already grabbed everyone's attention and the new jodi on the block looks intriguing. This small town movie is filled with budding romance, the chaos of daily life and life's many ups and down. © YRF The movie teaches us some perfect life lessons, giving us all that we need for a motivational Monday. Yes, we already love the theme, the vibe, the screenplay and obviously, the actors. Donning role of Mauji is Varun, a tailor from Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh who is married to an embroidery expert Mamta played by Anushka. The two are still trying to discover each other but the household work makes it impossible for the duo to find the time to do so. © YRF The movie is about finding your path, respecting your roots and finding love and admiration for each other in the process. © YRF Needless to say, the movie is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy and campaign for Indian-made products and clothing, that changed the phase of India. © YRF The trailer takes us through Mamta and Mauji's journey that is simple yet incredible. Mauji, who can't find a job as a tailor sells sewing machines for a living and he is often insulted and mistreated by his employer. © YRF Mamta hates the way her husband is treated and can't help but break down in front of him. She then insists that he starts something of his own and together, they embark on a new journey. However, their new expedition is full of struggle as making it on your own is never easy. © YRF But they stand together and fight for something that is their own. Sharat Katariya's movie is beautiful in its own way and a story that millions of Indians will definitely connect with. © YRF Get ready to witness the hustle-bustle of a common family, and the couple's constant grapple to get close to each other and achieve what they have started. The movie looks promising and worth a watch. © YRF Varun is exceptional and Anushka, as his wife, is the glue keeping everything together. This new couple will give rise to various emotions within you and be prepared for that. Check out the trailer here: The movie will hit the screens on 28th September 2018
