  1. Bill Gates is no longer the world's richest man. He's currently ranked the worldâs second-richest man with a $118 billion fortune. That, in case you can't figure out, is still a ton of money, plenty to afford a luxury Superyacht. Bill Gates, 64, is just an ordinary holidaymaker who has not previously owned a yacht. He used to rent them out whenever he wanted to get a breath of fresh air on the sea. But he now decided to invest in a one-of-a-kind Yacht that's worth more any of us can even imagine. Here are a few things to know about Bill Gates' new purchase, the Aqua Ship - Liquid Hydrogen As Fuel The Aqua ship is fitted with two 28-tonne vacuum-sealed tanks that are cooled to extremely cold temperatures. We're talking temperatures around -423F (-253C) and filled with liquid hydrogen. It's the only fuel that's used to power the ship. © Sinot In case you don't know, the emissions from the industry and transport make up for over 75-percent of the world's carbon footprint and it's highly important that we extend any help to bring down that number. Bill Gates is just doing his part, which often involves a lot of money. This, by the way, isn't the only investment he's made on his quest to find alternative fuels. He is also an investor in Heliogen, a startup that aims to turn sunlight into a fossil furl replacement. It's the first company in the world to concentrate sunlight to reach temperatures that are high enough to power heavy machinery without carbon emissions. Pricing & Availability The Aqua ship is truly one of the luxurious transport that I've ever seen. It's both beautiful and functional at the same time, with hardly anything to complain about. Speaking about the yacht, the marine designer Sander Sinot said, "For the development of Aqua we took inspiration from the lifestyle of a discerning, forward-looking owner, the fluid versatility of water and cutting-edge technology, to combine this in a superyacht with truly innovative features." Aqua isn't expected to hit the shores until 2024 and Bill Gates is the first one to order the vessel that's estimated to cost a whopping $644m i.e roughly Rs 4,600 crores. Well, Bill Gates used to rent out Yachts worth $300m, so if anything this is only going to save him money in the long run. Oh, and it's cheaper what India is spending on the custom jets for the President and the PM. Just saying. Check out the Aqua here. View the full article
  2. 'Avengers: Infinity War': Thor almost lost his eye for good Thor can easily be dubbed as the most beloved character in the entirety of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recently it was revealed that Thor could have potentially lost his eye, permanently, in the Avenger universe in Avengers: Infinity War. News reports suggest that Thor wasn't always supposed to get his eye back in the film. Over the last few years, Thor's characters has seen numerous changes, from personality to appearance. His locks snipped, Majlnir destroyed and his eye gorged out by his returned sister Hela. For Thor, in Avengers: Infinity War, most of the character's traits were kept intact but Anthony and Joe Russo made a few changes along the way. One of the most major being, returning Thor's eyesight through Rocket. The eye change has since then become one of his most signature looks, however it wasn't pre-planned from the get-go. Fans can see that Thor still had an eye patch on during his time in Asgard, after he put on a lot of weight. According to Burt, this was because the eye transfer was not written into the script at that point during its development. He was quoted saying, "He didn't have the cyborg eye at this point in the script that he gets in Infinity War, so I was still giving him eye patches or giving him the sunglasses with one dark lens."
  3. Avengers: Infinity War (2018) The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
  4. Even when the entire nation is divided, there's only one thing that can unite us all - memes! Like every year, we are fondly looking back at the most important thing of the passing year and here's the best 2018 recap ever! 1. Priya Prakash Varrier No one would've ever thought that it would only take one wink to become an overnight sensation in the country, but Priya Prakash Varrier came and did it so effortlessly. Everyone fell in love with her and her wink and she soon became the biggest person on the desi internet. Priya Prakash Varrier gave all types of expression in that two minutes what Katrina kaif couldn't give in her entire Bollywood career. — Akshay (@AkshayKatariyaa) February 11, 2018 Priya Prakash Varrier surpassed bitcoin in terms of gaining momentum. #PriyaPrakashVarrier — Lakshya Patel (@007_lakshya) February 11, 2018 *SAKHT LAUNDE to pighal Gaye...* But *Who did this* #PriyaPVarrier #PriyaPrakashVarrier #PriyaPrakash #NarendraModi #sakhtlaunda #cutegirls #Valentinesweek pic.twitter.com/wsFNDRlc1R — Abhishek Joshi (@itsmeabjoshi) February 11, 2018 2. Infinity War The biggest crossover ever! 'Avengers: Infinity War' was an entirely different experience and a truly incredible one. But, with every talked about thing comes memes about it because that's just how the internet works and Marvel gave us so many new ones. From people coming up with their own biggest crossovers to giving out the plot without any spoilers to the dusting meme, Infinity War was really a gift that kept on giving. Race 3 'Our business is our business, none of your business' - a line I could never read or hear without cringing, but it's a little too much now, after months. This movie was honestly such a joke, and I didn't even have to watch it to know that. So it's only appropriate it's treated like one online. I kind of feel bad for Daisy Shah but well, she had it coming as soon as she said that dreaded line. View this post on Instagram A must have in your library! Sanju What a movie! No one can deny that 'Sanju' and Ranbir Kapoor were one of the biggest Bollywood highlights of the year and of course that came with a bunch of memes about Ranbir as Sanjay Dutt, especially during the scene of him shooting 'Munna Bhai MBBS'. Chai Pi Lo Aunty Honestly, no one remembers where she came from and no one knows where she went, but she made sure that we will never ever forget her. Rahul Gandhi Hugging Modi This was a twist no one saw coming. Rahul Gandhi hugged PM Narendra Modi? What? Are we in an alternate timeline? (Well, that last one would explain so much if it was true.) Everyone binge-watched the entire thing as soon as it came out, everyone kept talking about it for months, and if you didn't finish it in one day, you were left behind. Radhika Apte And Netflix This year, Radhika Apte was everywhere on Netflix India, one would even say she was…omnipresent. The love affair between Radhika and Netflix became a long-running joke with Netflix fully embracing it and even changing their social media accounts to Radhika Apte fanpages and releasing the poster of the much anticipated Netflix, sorry I mean Radflix, original 'Omnipresent', which not only stars Radhika Apte, but is also written and directed by her. DeepVeer Wedding Imma let you finish, but Deepika and Ranveer had the most iconic wedding of the year. The anticipation, the way they made the entire country wait for the pictures and then the actual, beautiful pictures - everything was great. 5. We've all seen the biggest Marvel Cinematic Movie ever – 'Avengers: Infinity War', of course – and we all have been personally victimized by the ending, but it's time to get through that painful ending in a new language. The Hindi version of the biggest movie of the year has released today and obviously it's worth a watch. I mean, every Hollywood movie when dubbed in Hindi gets even better, even more hilarious and it's not like Infinity War needed any improvement but everyone needs a little bit of Tony Stark calling Spiderman 'Chhotu'. Here's the entire scene in Hindi: Rocket Racoon gets even sassier in Hindi. If Spider-Man is 'chhotu', then Tony Stark is Gurudev, obviously. This line sounds even better in Hindi, tbh. 'Prithvi ka shutter down hai' is way better than 'Earth is closed today'. 'Daaku aur haseena' is like an almost literal translation but it still sounds better than the original. Here's the Hindi trailer if you haven't seen it yet! When you have funny dialogues, you obviously have some memes about it. 'Infinity War' meets 'Sacred Games'. No one knows! Exactly. Yes, kaun ho? Yep. Anushka makes an appearance, obviously. 'Avengers: Infinity War' is re-releasing in Hindi today, so don't forget to check it out!
  6. Fancy luxury cruises are something we haven't had in India ever, so mostly all the desi people here have to go to other countries to experience the chill life on the seas. But finally, someone has stepped up in bringing one of the most luxurious things to India and I mean, I just have to say one thing – it was about time. The country's first cruise line between Mumbai and Goa is ready to set sail in less than two weeks and its first pictures are here, and they truly are breath-taking. The ship named Angriya will go on its maiden voyage on 12th October. Also, the name is not random as it's rather symbolic. Angriya is named after Kanhoji Angre, or Conajee Angria, the first Admiral of the Maratha Navy. He was called a pirate by the foreign troops but at home, he was the 'Shivaji Samudra', or Shivaji of the Indian Ocean. It has six decks and is meant to ferry 399 passengers. It also has over a 100 cabins in a lot of different categories, ranging from dorms and pods to family rooms and suites. From an infinity pool to a well-equipped spa to a quiet reading room, so basically everything you need to relax. But that doesn't mean it's all about having some downtime onboard; there are six bars and a lounge to turn up as well. A one-way ticket for the cruise will approximately cost anywhere between Rs 7,000 (for a bed in the dorm) to Rs 11,000 (for a suite) per person, which includes three meals. 7. The unparalleled madness behind the 'Avengers' franchise has no comparison, and even though we have to wait for almost a year before we finally get to see what happens in the next instalment, Marvel Studios is making sure that it keeps us busy with something or the other that has our 'fan brain' occupied. Marvel Studios posted an 'Infinity Stones' video and then quickly deleted it, severely irking fans across the globe. The official video was about the individual powers of all the six Infinity Stones including the much-debated Soul Stone, which means that it is was obviously hinting at a possible plot development for the next instalment. The Space Stone allows travelling across dimensions, the Time Stone allows peeping into the past and the future, while the Reality Stone lets one shape reality the way they want. The Power Stone, as the name suggests, helps one exercise the power to destroy anything and the Mind Stone alters the consciousness. Lastly, the Soul Stone allows the control of life and death. © marvel After a few possible pictures from the next instalment leaked online, the theory of time travel has become a legit belief. Another unofficial plot synopsis revealed that “a culmination of 22 interconnected films, the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it”. So basically, the deleted video, according to fans, officially explained the power of the stones and hinted at how it will add to the plot of the next instalment.
  8. The months of April and May were the best, tbh, because the only thing people talked about was the masterpiece that was 'Avengers: Infinity War'. It was so pure and the movie, even with that painful ending, truly was the biggest crossover ever. The movie was 2 hours and 40 minutes long, way longer than an average Hollywood movie, but we all know that even if Marvel released like a 4-hour long movie, we would have all watched it happily, without losing interest at any point. So, if you can't get enough of Marvel, here's some good news – there's an additional 45 minutes of 'Infinity War' that we all can see very soon! From added features to deleted scenes, so much new footage is coming our way in like a month. Yes, the extended version will be available if you shell out for the DVD and Blu Ray which is coming out in August. #Avengers #InfinityWar Blu-ray deets: 45 minutes of extras with 6 and a half minutes worth of deleted scenes. Had a go at translating the German titles: https://t.co/Ko0N69kQYW pic.twitter.com/7zfaZiwdqL — Anton Volkov (@antovolk) July 3, 2018 Apparently, a lot of Thanos' backstory was cut from the film, because of the already long running time. The report said, “(Some time) before the movie actually came out, they called him (Starlin) and were like 'Hey, look. We're sorry to tell you, we have to cut out a lot of the Thanos backstory. We're cutting out like thirty minutes of Thanos' backstory, his origin, and him as a youth and things that he did. We can't fit all of it into the movie. We already have like a two-and-a-half-hour film.” But, turns out it's not true, as suggested by the 'leaked' document in the tweet above. Coming to the deleted scenes, Russo Brothers have previously talked about a discarded Guardians scene in the past. “It was just this absurd scene of the Guardians not knowing where to go,” Anthony Russo told Entertainment Weekly. “And it was really fun, and it was very endearing to us. But because the movie is so big and so propulsive, it just wasn't quite pushing us where we needed to go.” Well, we'll just have to wait and see if everything listed above is part of the Indian extended version – which is apparently releasing on August 21 – since this document is specifically for the German version. But, we can all hope, just like we are hoping all the characters who ceased to exist at the end of 'Infinity War' will come back in the next one.
  9. 'Avengers: Infinity War' was nothing short of a masterpiece. It has grossed more than $2 billion at the box office and a sizeable chunk of that money may just be because of people watching the movie more than once. But, even after watching what is being touted as 'the largest crossover event in history' twice, there are certainly going to be a few things you still don't get. If you consider yourself an expert on the Marvel Cinematic Universe here's a test of your knowledge. How many of these things did you notice about 'Avengers: Infinity War?' It took us multiple viewings to notice them: Dr. Strange's sword © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Yes, the Sorcerer Supreme doesn't just rely on the mystic arts. While there have been multiple occasions in the comics when Dr. Strange has relied on weapons, this is the first time we got to see him rely on one in the MCU. Albeit a magical sword, at the very least, it's a nod to the Strange of the comics for sure. There are so many things happening on screen when Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Guardians Of The Galaxy and Dr. Strange are taking on Thanos on his home planet of Titan. But, if you pay close attention, you'll notice the sword in Strange's hand while taking on Thanos. The Chitauri © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Yes, the Chitauri were in 'Avengers: Infinity War.' No, there were no flashbacks of the Battle of New York which you missed. There was no extra end-credit scene you forgot to watch. Remember the flashback when Thanos met Gamora for the first time? He had ordered the massacre of half the people on her home planet of Zen-Whoberi. Who were those soldiers who did the killing? Yeah, they were the Chitauri. It's a nice way of tying in with the events of the 'Avengers'. The Chitauri are Thanos' army and while they're all dead in the present, there's no doubt over whose command they were under. Gamora isn't dead © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Okay, this is a little complicated, so keep track. The Soul Stone was the one Infinity Stone we hadn't heard or seen in the MCU till 'Avengers: Infinity War.' While Gamora seemed to know about it all along, it's only now that we, the viewer, got to know about its existence and location. Thanos had to sacrifice the person he loved the most, i.e., Gamora, in order to get the Soul Stone. Everyone thought that was the end of Gamora. But, on closer inspection, we realised that Gamora is actually trapped in the Soul World. She isn't dead. We even got to see her at the end when Thanos snaps his finger and enters the ethereal plane briefly. Remember? Vision isn't dead © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures The only superhero to die twice in 'Avengers: Infinity War,' there may just be something you've missed when it comes to this android's death. First, Scarlet Witch kills him to prevent Thanos from getting the Mind Stone, then Thanos turns back time and kills him while also getting his hands on the Mind Stone. But, if you remember the time in Shuri's lab, Wakanda's Head of Science & Information Exchange pushed some buttons just before Corvus Glaive attacked her and Vision. Shuri had already been working on separating Vision from the Mind Stone. Maybe she succeeded? Vision has proven to be quite strong in previous movies and was a shadow of his former self while taking on the Black Order and Thanos in Wakanda. Yes, he was beaten but maybe it's because Shuri was able to extract a part of him? Everyone who disintegrated isn't dead © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures How can we make such an assumption? Well, we have a pretty good reason actually. Remember when Dr. Strange looked through some 14 million different possibilities and found only one in which they could defeat Thanos? We're guessing that's the plan they decided to stick with. I mean, why wouldn't they? Before disintegrating, you'll remember Strange's last words to Stark, “there was no other way.” That pretty much means Strange has already set the one possible way to defeat Thanos in motion. © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures It goes without saying that disintegration was a part of Strange's plan. He knew that was going to be the first thing Thanos did when he got all the Infinity Stones, right? But, he can't be dead. Why? We'll have to go back to 'Doctor Strange' to answer that. Remember when the Ancient One was dying? Remember what she tells Strange? “I spent so many years peering through time... looking at this exact moment. But I can't see past it.” She's basically telling Strange that they can't use the Time Stone to look past their own deaths. So, that pretty much means, Dr. Strange isn't dead. Could it be that they have all gone to the Soul World? We'll have to wait till 3rd May 2019 to find out.
  10. A lot of us are still reeling from the tragic ending of 'Avengers: Infinity War.' How could Marvel do that to us??? Don't worry, if you're one of the select few who still haven't gotten around to seeing the movie, we won't be spoiling it for you here. Even though 'Avengers: Infinity War' was probably the darkest Marvel movie to date, there's no reason why the cast couldn't have had a lot of fun during filming. Here's a taste of what went on behind the scenes. This is the closest thing we have to a blooper reel right now and while we're sure they will release more behind the scenes footage over the next few months, this is the only thing we have to hang on to right now. But, don't worry, we're not going to let you go without some laughs. No one is perfect and it's pretty obvious that the actors would make some hilarious mistakes while shooting. Here's a collection of multiple blooper reels from the past Marvel films. If you aren't laughing or haven't at least cracked a smile after watching that, we apologise. Promise to try harder next time. :D The author has a boring Insta account that you could consider following if it's worth your time. Check it out.
  11. 12. Mr. Bachchan is the boss on Twitter and there is no one who can say otherwise. At times he blatantly trolls people and at times becomes a victim himself. The Internet is a savage place and there is no one who can escape its cruel sting, not even Big B. 14. Yes, it has been two weeks since the movie released but I'm not done writing about it and seems like people are still not done reading about it. So please just chill alright, there's no need to hate on us in the comments. Capeesh? Okay, so let's proceed. At this point I'm just going to assume that everyone has already seen 'Avengers: Infinity War', so a disclaimer for spoilers is not really needed. If you're a Marvel fan, you know how much actors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe like to improvise a lot of their lines and scenes. After all, when you have such great and talented actors, you can always expect them to give everything they have and then some more. While we already know a lot of the improvised lines from previous movies – we have a list if you're interested, because shameless self-promo – but today we'll just focus on 'Avengers: Infinity War' because with so many incredible actors you get a lot of hilarious and heart-breaking improvised lines. 1. “Notice you copied my beard.” 'Infinity War' was not only the biggest and most anticipated movie of the year, but it was also the big debut of Chris Evans' beard (which has now turned into a pornstache because good things don't last long). Remember Thor's epic entrance in Wakanda, after which the whole theatre started cheering? Well, after that he had a mini-reunion with Captain America, where he says that Cap here copied him. Turns out it was all Chris Hemsworth. 2. “Adults are talking” After their battle with Ebony Maw and plenty of pop culture references, Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, and Peter Parker are regrouping when Peter proclaims that he's “backup”, and Tony quickly retorts by stating that the “adults are talking”. It was a nice comic relief moment during an intense scene, but it turns out that it wasn't a part of the script. Robert Downey Jr has been playing the character of Tony Stark/Iron Man for ten years now and looks like he's reached a point where he doesn't need small things like scripts to hold him back. He knows exactly what Tony would say or do and he's almost always right. 3. “I'm sorry, Mr Stark, I don't want to go” It's not only Tony Stark who's teaching Peter Parker well, but it also seems like Robert Downey Jr is also teaching Tom Holland a thing or two. As everyone knows, this was – 1. The most heart-breaking line in the entire movie and 2. It was completely improvised by Tommy here. Such pure talent at such a young age, fill props to Tom Holland. Also, let's move on to the next one because I'm done reliving Spider-Man's death scene. 4."Why is Gamora?" Yes, everyone knows about this one also, but I had to put, it's one of the funniest lines in the movie and it increased my love for Drax and Dave Bautista tenfold. Such a simple line yet it had the power to make everyone laugh out loud. Good job, Drax. Also, if he's not back in the next movie, get ready for my own Infinity War with Marvel. Also, I'm pretty sure it was at this point when Tony lost all hope of surviving. Right now, these are all the improvised lines I could find and I'll be sure to add more if and when we get to know about them.
  15. 'Avengers: Infinity War' was truly an emotional journey, the deaths, the defeat(?). It was more than everything we all expected out of the movie that was like a culmination of the last ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While it was incredible and truly iconic to see so many superheroes come together for one goal – to somehow defeat Thanos – there was obviously a lit bit of confusion that came with that. Fans left the theatre needing a little bit of emotional support and a lot of questions, and we are here to answer some of them. 1. Where The Hell Was The Hulk During The Whole Movie? The Hulk is obviously an integral part of MCU and is also an OG Avenger, but sadly the green angry giant was missing throughout the movie and only made an appearance in the first scene. Yes, the internal war between Bruce Banner and the Hulk was quite hilarious to watch, but we still were hoping for the Hulk to make an entrance at the most crucial time and help out everyone. But, nope, that didn't happen. We were all hoping for 'Hulk smash', but all we got was apparently 'Hulk scared' after the giant purple grape kicked his green ass in the beginning. Only, that's what we thought, but turns out it's not really accurate. The Russo brothers explained that they wanted to explore the relationship between Bruce Banner and the Hulk a little more. “These two beings don't like each other and don't like helping each other,” Joe said. “We thought it would be more interesting to explore Banner as a hero. We thought it would be a more interesting choice to take him down a path where the Hulk is not interested in helping him anymore. That these two have reached an impasse with each other and Banner has to rise to the occasion.” “I think people have interpreted that Hulk's scared,” Joe said. “[And] certainly, he's had his ass kicked before and he loves a good fight, but I think it's really reflective of the journey from 'Ragnarok,' that these two characters are constantly in conflict with each other over control. And I think if Hulk were to say why [he didn't return in 'Infinity War'], he'd say, 'Banner only wants Hulk for fighting'. He's had enough of saving Banner's ass.” 2. Why Are So Many Scenes From The Trailer Not In The Actual Movie? We've already covered a list of scenes from the trailer that never made it into the movie, and I would also like to clarify that all of them are true, even though a lot of people in the comments didn't believe so. (Go watch the movie again before you come to fight!) Now that we've cleared that up, let's come back to the question that actually has a very simple answer. Seems like the makers expected everyone to rip every little scene from the trailer apart and base theories and predictions off it before even watching the movie, so this was done to keep the actual movie kind of a surprise for everyone. “That shot that you're referencing was never in the movie in the version that you saw. It was never even created for the movie in that version. It was literally created in that version for the trailer.” If you couldn't tell, we're back to talking about the Hulk here. They added, “We use all the material that we have at our disposal to create a trailer. We look at the trailer as a very different experience than the movie, and I think audiences are so predictive now that you have to be very smart about how you craft a trailer because an audience can watch a trailer and basically tell you what's gonna happen in the film. We consume too much content. So at our disposal are lots of different shots that aren't in the movie that we can manipulate through CG to tell a story that we want to tell specifically for the purpose of the trailer and not for the film.” 3. How Did They Choose Who Would Survive In 'Infinity War'? As much as I would like to avoid talking about that ending, we have to, as it was the most crucial part of the movie. As we all know, Thanos succeeded in collecting all the infinity stones and killed(?) half of the universe. But, with so many characters all together in one movie, it would have been a very huge and difficult decision to decide who will die – or disintegrate – and who will clearly survive to be a part of the next one for sure. (Yes, there is a big possibility that almost everyone will be back, especially with so many billion-dollar franchises at stake) “All of our choices are based on the story,” Anthony explained. “It's based upon the road that these characters have travelled, in not only this movie, but throughout the entire entity up to this point because, again, these movies are the culmination. So, all we can say is that they are very focused story choices.” So, it looks like they made a decision to kill off almost everyone but the original Avengers, maybe as a way of letting 'Avengers 4' serve as a closing to the original team's story. But, when asked about this particular point, they only had one word to say – “Interesting”.

  17. The year 2017 opened the floodgates of one of the world's biggest and trickiest Q&A session – Why did Katappa kill Baahuabali? Even a 5th standard kid was probably more invested in that critical question, instead of his studies or outdoor games. Well, we waited for nearly 2 years to find the answers. And last year we got those answers, SS Rajamouli, Prabhas and the entire cast and crew got their share of appreciation, and the movie went on to make billions of money at the box office. © marvel studios But there's one thing which all of us happened to ignore and was spotted only by Baahubali's Chinese fans. 19. 'Avengers: Infinity War' was the biggest and most ambitious cross-over ever, so obviously it had a lot of characters in one movie, a lot of them, and it's easy to get confused about it, especially if you haven't dedicated the last 10 years to watch and re-watch everything Marvel puts out. For people who are just casual fans, going to watch 'Infinity War' was like getting punched in the face with so many superheroes that you can't keep up with. So, remembering everyone's name would be a little tricky, wouldn't it? Turns out it is way too complicated to keep up with everyone's names, as demonstrated by a viral tweet. Gabrielle Regan-Waters tweeted about all the names for the characters his wife came up with after just watching two MCU movies. Asked my wife, who's only seen two films in the MCU (Captain America 1 and Thor 2), to name #InfinityWar characters. It went about as well as we expected. pic.twitter.com/ICK8n8geFC — Gabrielle Regan-Waters (@gabregan) May 7, 2018 You really just need to concentrate on each and every name separately to realize how hilarious they are. Also, full props to Gabrielle for presenting it in such a nice and organized way. © Marvel Okay, everyone knows Iron Man and Captain America. After all, Robert Downey Jr's Twitter bio is literally 'You know who I am'. I never thought Thor would be such a forgettable name. Moreover, just Chris would be so confusing; almost every Chris in Hollywood is a part of MCU. Just for reference, this person thought Thanos was The Hulk. Magician for Doctor Strange? I was expecting Sherlock, tbh. Chad something honestly reminds me of – Paul Rudd is Paul Rudd, not Ant Man. Republican Chris? Oh no, is he really, tho? I would be very disappointed. © Marvel Rogue? Jeremy Renner doesn't even look like Martin Freeman. Jean? No, purple alien is Thanos, actually more like a purple grape. 'Why is Gamora' being called the She Hulk? Sorry, had to put it there somehow. Don't do Drax so dirty like this. Troot? Okay, found my new favourite fake name. Wow, she just disrespected Rocket. Hope he doesn't steal one of her body parts. © Marvel I kinda see the resemblance with a snail. Sorry, Mantis. Kinda true, I guess. Spider Man is Spider Man, even when he's hiding a frog in his mouth. Yes, there are two Iron Man. He's the token black Iron Man. How did she get Cyclops, tho? Aww Bucky, it's okay we remember you. Samuel L Jackson will always be Samuel L Jackson before anything else. Robin Scherbatsky, always in our hearts. © Marvel Wong's description reminds me of that normal guy who joins Deadpool towards the end of 'Deadpool 2' trailer. Okay, now the War Maiden family is starting and it's the best part of the whole list. Well, he does look like the Comic Book guy. Yes, Willy Wonka was a part of 'Infinity War' and no one even knew. Loki is a God but here he's just a counterpart of Doctor Strange. It was a viral meme and a hilarious and informative one at that. It obviously got a lot of people talking. Yes, we are ready. 20. PewDiePie talking about and reacting to Indian TV shows is a gift that keeps on giving. Felix Kjellberg is the biggest YouTuber is the entire world with 62 million followers at the moment. Wow, I can't even comprehend how many people that is. And, sometimes he likes to introduce all of these people to so many hidden Indian memes and TV shows. Last year he reacted to the national treasure that is 'Motu Patlu' in one of his videos and well that just sounds weird on its own. A Swedish guy with an insane following online is watching a kid's cartoon show in Hindi. Then, he moved on from reacting to actually singing Chhota Bheem's theme song. Wow, I never thought the weird part of the internet would be this weird. He has also reacted to Indian People on Facebook memes on his channel a few months ago and showed everyone how weird Indians can be. I mean, the video was titled 'show bobs and vegana', we were doomed from the word go. Also pewds, it's vegene, okay? If you are going to appropriate our culture, at least do it in the correct way. After memes and cartoons, looks like he's finally ready for some mature and quality Hindi television and of course he turned to Ekta Kapoor. Yesterday, he tweeted a screenshot of Balaji Telefilms' 'Kasamh Se' title song from YouTube. (good quality) pic.twitter.com/gsOmCizG3Q — ƿ૯ωá«É¿à«¯Æ¿É¿à«¯ (@pewdiepie) May 9, 2018 Yes, he's just mocking the quality of the video because the uploader wrote on the title that it's “good quality” but good quality had a different meaning for him. But, the main question is – has PewDiePie taken on every desi mom's pass-time activity and stated watching Hindi daily soaps? Why else would he be looking up 'Kasamh Se', a show even I hadn't heard of until now? Even though he's just commenting on the quality, Indians on Twitter are still very confused. Everyone has the same question. Da fk u watching?? Is that zee TV logo on the corner?? — Saayan Biswas (@SaayanB) May 9, 2018 Why Felix, why? WHY ARE YOU WATCHING HINDI DAILY SOAPS FELIX — Aditi (@Adril9596) May 9, 2018 Can't argue with this logic. it's not good quality for image, it's good quality for your soul. — Bruno, o senpai (@KakaxeRataque) May 9, 2018 Yes. who's Indian uncle logged into this twitter account ð — tEDDy tK (@iCrazyTeddy) May 9, 2018 This needs to happen. 21. 'Avengers: Infinity War' was a masterpiece, no doubt about that. After all, it has been almost two weeks since it was released and here we are still talking about it, and we probably will until the next Avengers movie comes out next year. Remember that meme about it being the biggest, most ambitious cross-over yet? If you have watched the movie, you know it wasn't an exaggeration. The movie brought so many brilliant actors together and tied all the characters together perfectly, and when you have such incredible actors, you know they're going to give everything they have, way more than just coming in and delivering their lines. We already know that so many actors, who are a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like to improvise their lines and 'Infinity War' was no different. Last week, we got to know that Tom Holland, aka Spider-Man, came up with the most heartbreaking line in the entire movie himself. You know what I'm talking about – “I don't feel so good Mr. Stark. I don't want to go, please I don't want to go Mr. Stark. I am sorry, Tony, I am sorry.” Okay, brb. Need to cry first for just reliving this moment. Now that I'm all cried out, let's try to lighten the mood and look at some of the most hilarious lines in the movie, actually one particular line. We have already listed our favourite dialogues from the movie, and obviously “why is Gamora?” was a part of it. But, the best line from the movie just got even better. But before we go further, we need to relive this one. Peter Quill: “I'm gonna ask you this one time: Where is Gamora?” Tony Stark: “Yeah, I'll do you one better. Who is Gamora?” Drax: “I'll do you one better. Why is Gamora?” And, this was followed by the entire theatre laughing. It turns out this was completely improvised by Dave Bautista aka Drax and my love for Drax just increased right now. In an interview with Yahoo, 'Infinity War's two screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely revealed that Bautista completely ad-libbed the line, prompting Markus to recall, “OK, you're very good at your job.” Good job, Drax. Also, side note, if they don't bring him back, I will start my own Infinity War with Marvel. Now, if it turns out “I am Steve Rogers” was improvised, I will die.
  22. Yes, 'Infinity War' has already earned over a billion dollars at the box office and while I still believe it won't be the highest grossing movie of all time, it looks like it will make it into the top 3 or 4. But, that's money which goes into the studios pocket. What about the actors? Think they could have made deals where they got a percentage of the box office earnings of the film? Highly unlikely given the money- making juggernaut that Marvel Studios has become today. Maybe a few of them negotiated their contracts keeping this in mind. Just imagine how much money they could earn. But, who could have predicted this? With the MCU not existing until Iron Man, and superhero movies not known to become box-office successes, it's highly unlikely anyone would have opted for a percentage cut instead of a few million up front. But, enough about that, we're all here to find out how much each actor earned for the part they played in 'Avengers: Infinity War.' Now, you need to understand that this is probably the biggest lead cast in the history of cinema (at least the biggest I can remember). So, it makes this sense that this is also among the most expensive movies ever made. Director Joe Russo has said that most of the presumed $300-400 million budget has gone towards paying the cast. Maybe all of it did with a separate budget for everything else? But, who gets how much? Let's take a look: Captain America – Chris Evans He's the leader of the Avengers. But, when it comes to earnings, he's nowhere near the top. Chris Evans earned around $8 million (reportedly) for his appearance in 'Avengers: Infinity War.' While this is much more than what he earned for 'Captain America: The First Avenger,' which was a measly $150,000 (reportedly) it's still nowhere near as much as what some of his co-stars earned. Thor – Chris Hemsworth Fresh off the success of 'Thor: Ragnarok,' Chris makes another appearance just a few months later in this one. But, while some say he earned in excess of $31 million for his role in that movie, for 'Avengers: Infinity War' he earned a modest $12 million. If only I could ever see the day when $12 million was a modest figure for me. : ( Black Panther - Chadwick Boseman 'Black Panther' was a box office success earning more than $1 billion. Unfortunately for Chadwick, since this was his first lead role as the Black Panther ('Captain America: Civil War' was not a lead role) he didn't earn a huge paycheck. Some reports say he learned less than a million dollars for playing the King of Wakanda. Given the movie's success, it's obvious that he would have got a pay bump for 'Avengers: Infinity War' but it doesn't look like he would have got more than $2-3 million for his role. The Hulk - Mark Ruffalo The green giant is known for causing the most destruction among the Avengers and that may just be the reason he takes home such a small paycheck. Ruffalo as the Hulk doesn't have a solo movie to his credit (yet), and as much as we hope that changes in the future, it's highly unlikely. Mark has done a lot of the mo-cap work for the Hulk in these movies. But, the amount of money it takes to bring this Avenger to life on the big screen is unlike any other. While the Hulk may be the most expensive Avenger to put on-screen, Ruffalo doesn't earn more than a few million for his part, $5-6 million to be precise. Black Widow – Scarlett Johansson She's the highest earning female Avenger. Considering the kind of power the other female Avengers have (Scarlet Witch & Captain Marvel) it would take something special for Scarlett to stand out on the big screen. She does manage to hold her own even when on-screen with many big name superheroes though and that's perhaps why she has earned a reported $20 million for 'Avengers: Infinity War.' This would make her the second highest earning Avenger. Wonder what Hawkeye has to say about this… Doctor Strange – Benedict Cumberbatch While Benedict Cumberbatch may be perfect for the role of the Sorcerer Supreme it seems highly unlikely that he would have got paid a lot for his first role as Doctor Strange in the movie of the same name. Yes, he was a pretty big name even before they cast him but that's not reason enough for Marvel to cough up the big bucks. His movie did do well though and that may just be reason enough for Marvel to loosen those purse strings for him this time around. Still, he's reported to have earned around $5 million for playing the character in 'Avengers: Infinity War.' That's not too much, is it? Thanos – Josh Brolin Thanos has made appearances in post-credit scenes since 'Avengers' and has also made an appearance in 'Guardians Of The Galaxy.' But, 'Avengers: Infinity War' is the Mad Titan's first major role in the MCU and Josh Brolin absolutely nailed it. But, does that mean he would get paid a lot? Of course not. He got around $5-6 million and considering he has the most screen time among all the stars you could say he got the least per minute pay. Loki - Tom Hiddleston He was the most talked about villain in the MCU till Thanos stole that thunder from him in 'Avengers: Infinity War.' Still, he has earned quite a decent sum over the years and may just end up being the highest paid super villain in the MCU overall. He was, reportedly, paid around $8 million to play the God of Mischief in 'Infinity War' and considering how little screen time he has in the movie that makes him one of the highest paid in terms of per minute pay. Star-Lord – Chris Pratt Pratt was relatively unknown before 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 1' made him a household name. Yes, he did enjoy some success in 'Parks & Recreation' but it was nothing compared to the global stardom he enjoys now. Even 'Jurassic World' may have something to do with that but Guardians will always be where it began. Pratt is reported to have been paid $1.5 million for 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 1' and even though it's been 4 years since that movie racked in millions at the box office, Pratt is rumoured to have earned around $5 million for his role in this one. Rocket Raccoon - Bradley Cooper There's only one reason Bradley Cooper is on this list and that's because he's one of the two Guardians of the Galaxy who only have voice acting to do. Actually, that's not the reason, the reason is because I want to point out the disparity between both of them. Cooper doesn't earn more than a few million for each movie. Why is this relevant? Wait till we get to Vin Diesel/Groot. Spider-Man – Tom Holland He's the youngest superhero who's a part of the Avengers and also has a solo movie to his credit. After the success of Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker and the relative success of Andrew Garfield too, Holland had some seriously big shoes to fill. He made it work, though. Marvel has hit the nail on the head with most casting choices and this one is no different. While surrounded by so many big names, Spider-Man still manages to stand out. Tom Holland has many years of acting ahead of him and given that he's started out with such a big franchise, the future is bright. He earned around $3 million for his role in 'Avengers: Infinity War.' Iron Man – Robert Downey Jr. The man we've all been waiting to read about. Let's face it, most of you are only here to find out how much Robert earned. Again, while we don't have any official numbers, rumours put his earnings for 'Avengers: Infinity War' at $50 million. Talk about disparity. Actually, considering the entire MCU would not have taken off without 'Iron Man' it's only fair that Downey gets a huge number for every movie. He is supposed to be the highest paid actor in the MCU. There's only one other man who can compete. The name will shock you… Groot – Vin Diesel Yup, big Vin is reported to have been paid $54 million for 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.' That's an astounding figure when you think about it. He doesn't even do the mo-cap for Groot. It's just his voice that warrants that amount. Sit back and let that sink in for a minute. The only thing we can say in Marvel's defence is that he was already a pretty successful Hollywood actor before they signed him. While most others tasted success only after their roles in the MCU, Diesel already has 'xXx' and the 'Fast & Furious' franchises to support him not to mention a number of other box-office successes. Could Marvel have signed someone else to voice Groot at a much lower price? Of course, but then he wouldn't be Vin. Would he? (As much as I tried to get confirmed numbers, Disney doesn't reveal anything in terms of how much their actors are paid. So, must of the numbers here are based on rumours and confirmations from unidentified sources.) Follow me on Instagram or Twitter if you want to read more.
  23. The one main thing that 'Avengers: Infinity War' has done, besides playing with our feelings, is make us want binge-watch the entire thing. Doesn't matter if you have been religiously following it for a decade or just became a fan recently after this incredible movie, everyone must feel like watching all the movies that led up to this masterpiece. Since all the movies are linked in a lot of ways, it would be such a good idea to just have a recap of it all, and then you can maybe also figure out that when did Marvel become so sadistic. But, the main question is what order you should follow while watching or re-watching all the 18 movies that came before 'Infinity War'? Well, if you're going on a binge-spree, the most logical one would be to follow the order Marvel intended, the order they were released in, but there could be a different way, maybe even a better way. 24. Like it or not, 'Avengers: Infinity War' is the only thing anyone seems to be talking about right now, and that's not going to change for a while. Our timeline is flooded with memes, content, articles, anything and everything related to Infinity War, but no one really seems to mind it. The ending of the film has left many heartbroken, but we can get over our Avengers blues by watching some of the upcoming Marvel movies that will entertain us to the fullest. Two things that this movie has thought us is that Captain Marvel is all set to make her debut and the second thing...hmmm....we are still trying to figure out. Anyway, the Avengers fever is still viral and to continue the spree we bring you some of the mistakes we spotted in the Russo Brother's film that doesn't really spoil the story but are worth taking note of anyway! 1. 25. The OnePlus 6 is all set to launch in two weeks and we already know almost every specification of the upcoming device. We also know that the Chinese company is working on a special Avengers-themed device for India which was confirmed by the company not so long ago. © Marvel A picture leaked online showing the packaging on the new phone and to be honest, it looks might sexy. The retail box is black in colour and the striking Avengers logo is right in the middle of the front. Apart from that, it also has Marvel and OnePlus's logo which indicates this is the final packing of the product — especially since we're two weeks away from launch. © Twitter/SlashLeaks The photo was discovered in a Facebook group that was discovered by Slashleaks (http://www.slashleaks.com/l/oneplus-6-box-avengers-edition) and later posted on Twitter by their official handle. Having said that, we do not have other details about the device or how it looks and the colour of the device. This is not the first time OnePlus has partnered with Disney/Marvel to promote their device as last year the company launched a special Star Wars edition. I did a whole piece as to why every Star Wars fan must own one if they are a true fan. © MensXP There is no word on the pricing of the Avengers-themed device either, however, we can expect it to be a tad bit more expensive due to licensing reasons. The handset is all set to be unveiled in London on May 16th followed by an Indian launch event the very next day. We will know more about pricing and other details after the event and will make sure you get your low-down before everyone else. Until then, keep an eye out for more OnePlus news in the MensXP Technology section.
