Every 90âs kid would remember his iconic movie Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein and his memorable performance as âMaddyâ. Since then people started addressing him as âMaddyâ and the interesting thing about him is that he is one of the few actors in the country who has a pan-India appeal, as he has worked in films from over seven different languages. It is a matter of pride that the 50-year-old actor was trained with the British Royal Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force. Later he considered joining the army but unfortunately he was rejected due to age cut-off by six months. 3. Did you know he started his acting career with television? 2. Ramanand Sagarâs Ramayan first aired more than three decades ago in 1987. The amount of sentimentality and reverence the show enjoyed at the time, can be gauged not only by the testimonials the elders in our house share, but also by the showâs current rating on Doordarshan. © MensXP People flocked to the sets in large numbers to get a glimpse of Ram, Laxman and Sita, made immortal by actors Arun Govil, Sunil Lahri and Dipika Chikhlia. As the popular show is being rerun on DD National amid the country-wide lockdown, MensXP got in touch with the son of the showâs late art director. Mr Vipin Bhai Patel was kind enough to share some unknown facts and never-seen-before photos related to Ramanand Sagarâs Ramayan. © MensXP/Vipin Bhai Patel 1. There are many reports which claim that Ramayan was shot in Mumbai. But in reality, the show was shot in the Vrindavan Studio in Umargam, Gujarat. 2. Art director and the then owner of the studio late Mr Hirabhai Patel was responsible for designing all the major components of the show, right from the costumes, sitting areas, chariots to the set itself. © MensXP 3. Hirabhai Patel had also been well-versed in Trick Photography (a special form of photography that uses special methods to make unreal things seem very real), which gave the show a whole new dimension and made everything seem true to life. 4. Mr Hirabhai Patel acquired a 40-acre piece of land in Gujarat under a government subsidy scheme, and set up the Ramayan studio on it. © MensXP 5. The studio is located along a seashore and has multiple locations on its premises. Many scenes featuring the sea in Ramayan were shot inside the studio itself. It is also said that post the shooting of Ramayan, Shri Krishna was also shot in the same studio. 6. Son of Late Mr Hirabhai Patel and the current owner of Vrindavan studio, Vipin Bhai Patel also shared that director Ramanand Sagar and his father were close associates. The director would discuss various matters of the show with Hirabhai Patel and then decide on the future course of action. © MensXP 7. Reportedly, the shooting of Ramayan began in 1985 and went on for the next five years. 8. The studio was let out on shift basis and for every 8-hour shift, the renting changes would be Rs 2000. Every significant scene in the show, right from the jungle to the battle scenes were shot inside the studio. 9. The creation of particular elements of the set, including costumes, jewellery and even weapons were first hand-painted by Mr Hirabhai Patel upon discussing it with the director. Only then were they physically created. 10. Trick photography/videography would be used to make things appear larger than life on-screen. For instance, Ravanâs palace in the show seems humongous, but in reality, the palace was merely 4 feet in height. © MensXP Check out more never-seen-before photos here: © MensXP © MensXP © MensXP Inputs taken from an exclusive story covered by Mradul Rajpoot for MensXP Hindi. 3. Humanity is a pretty narcissistic species - from inventing self-portraits to front-facing cameras, weâve been obsessed with capturing our own faces with âselfiesâ for a long time now. Every now and then however, you come across a selfie thatâs incredible - usually depending on its context and when it was taken. Here are a few of the very best. The First Selfie Ever Taken © Wikimedia The selfie as we know it today began to take shape in the mid-2000s, and peaked after the iPhone 4âs front camera shook up the industry in 2010. Youâd be mistaken in thinking this trend was a new invention by any means though - the first actual selfie dates back. Way back, to 1839. The image above is a self-taken âdaguerreotypeâ photo taken by Robert Cornelius, an American lamp manufacturer by day, but photography pioneer by night. At the age of 30, he set up a camera in the back of his familyâs store, ran in front of the lens and crossed his arms - beating all of us by just over 180 years. The Ellen Selfie © Reuters After sortaâ breaking the internet in 2014, this Oscar selfie became a huge deal - inspiring at least a yearâs worth of memes and parodies. Interestingly, if you did the math at the time, itâs not so surprising to see why it became so viral - not only does it feature some very popular A-listers, but their combined worth in 2014 skyrocketed past one billion dollars. Sure, thatâs laughable in front of a single selfie of Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos, but still, one hell of a photograph. Too bad Jared Leto didnât quite make it in. Ex-World Leader Selfie © Twitter It happened at a rather unlikely place. Five days after Nelson Mandelaâs death in December 2013, the world gathered to mourn his death at Johannesburgâs FNB Stadium. It was here that then-US President Barack Obama would bump into then-UK Prime Minister David Cameron, with Helle Thorning-Schmidt, the Danish PM, sandwiched in between. The three then began to take selfies together in a moment as iconic as it was controversial. Some werenât pleased that the trio thought taking selfies was appropriate for Mandelaâs memorial. The First Selfie⦠In Space © Twitter/Reddit NASAâs Gemini-12 mission from 1966 had a pretty difficult goal ahead of itself - proving that human beings were capable of functionally surviving outside of a spacecraft. Before he became famous for walking on the moon, Edwin âBuzzâ Aldrinâs previous mission saw him break a different kind of record, as he took the worldâs first selfie from space while holding onto the NASAâs Agena spacecraft. In 2015, a vintage print of the selfie sold for around $9,200 at an auction in London. George Harrison At The Taj Mahal © Twitter Seems like 1966 really was an iconic year for selfies. After turning 23, legendary Beatles lead guitarist George Harrison decided to spend some time in India, visiting the Taj Mahal and taking this iconic photograph. Not only did he have a classic piece of music history in his hands, this very same visit saw him pick up the sitar, learning under the tutelage of Pandit Ravi Shankar. Tottiâs Selfie Celebration For A.S. Roma © Twitter While Italian football has certainly seen better days, back in the 2015 season, Francesco Totti blew back Lazioâs two-nil lead with two goals of his own, celebrating by taking footballâs most famous selfie - but did you know it was all planned? © A.S.Roma According to the team website; âI gave my phone to [goalkeeping coach] Guido Nanni,â explained Totti. âI asked him to take it with him when he went out to the pitch.â Twenty minutes later, Totti performed his miracle, breaking Lazio hearts and taking the selfie. And the actual photo? Totti handed his phone to one of the journalists on the club website and told him to do what he wanted with it. It went viral, obviously. Modiâs Bollywood Selfie © Twitter This one blew up across Indian news back in January 2019 - the Prime Minister attended a meeting organised by filmmaking mogul Karan Johar and producer Mahaveer Jain. The delegates also included celebrities like filmmaker Rohit Shetty, actors Bhumi Pednekar, Ashwini Iyer, Sidharth Malhotra, Ekta Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal and Varun Dhawan. Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana were also there, and the former snapped this selfie which lead to not just excited Bollywood fans, but a good deal of political debate around the ties between film and government. The majestic palace was built as a gesture of grand welcome for the Prince of Wales, King Edward VI and was also the residence of the Scindia dynasty and was made open to the general public in 1964. Freshly minted BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia is the current legal owner of this magnanimous palace, and his property inheritance is known to be close to USD 2 billion. In case you ever visit Gwalior, make sure you pay a visit to this culturally rich and historically royal palace. View the full article
  5. Whatâs in a name? Not too much if youâre a person - but if you happen to be one of these fifteen megacompanies, a name invokes far more than just a brand label - some of these iconic names have stood for decades and will probably continue on for several more. Company founders usually find a name somewhere between clever hidden meanings, plain functionality and often, just dumb luck. Today, navigating through legal restrictions makes it a lot harder - so hereâs a list charting through some of the more unique, interesting names youâll find on stock markets today. Nike © Reuters The central idea is pretty straightforward - Nike refers to the Greek goddess of victory, usually depicted with outstretched wings and laurels as a sign of triumph - the ancient Greeks would be proud today. Lesser known in Nikeâs story however, is the brandâs original name - the much less catchy âBlue Ribbon Sportsâ. The catalyst for the name change was Blue Ribbonâs first full-time employee, Jeff Johnson, who convinced his team that successful brand names had two essential qualities. First, they were short. Second, they contained an âexoticâ letter, such as an X, K or Z. Soon, Nike took off the ground - and it all came from advice Johnson read in an airplane magazine. Google © Reuters Some meetings were just destined to happen - such as when Stanford university prospective Larry Page met Sergey Brin on the campus grounds in 1997. Soon, Google was officially registered as a domain in the same year - instead of hunting for an iconic or thoughtful word, the pair decided that one of the most obscure words in the English language would serve as their companyâs inspiration - googol, or the mathematical term for the value of 1 followed by 100 zeroes. Whatâs amusing is that before Google, the pair had initially settled on the much cosier sounding name of âBackrubâ. Imagine - an entire universe of awkward jokes and moments missed out on, where weâd spend countless hours âbackrubbingâ instead of googling stuff. Starbucks © Reuters While most of us are content with ordering a quick latte and rushing out the door, you might want to take a look at the Starbucks branding next time youâre looking for a caffeine fix. The coffee chain originated from Seattle - a city well-known for its prolific ports and history of rugged seafaring. Match that heritage to the mermaid character and her 19th-century woodcut design⦠but what about the name? For that, you need to look no further than the legendary novel Moby Dick - the whale-obsessed captain Ishmael happens to have a first mate named - you guessed it - Starbuck. Pizza Hut © Reuters Sometimes, naming a brand is less inspiration and more of working with the limitations youâve got. In the case of mega-pizza chain Pizza Hut, the story began way back in 1950 - long before the Italian favourite permeated every layer of American food culture. While attending the University of Kansas, brothers Frank and Dan Carney launched the first Pizza Hut with a $600 loan from their mother. The name was easy to remember and naturally became quite famous, but there were actually just two reasons as to why the name was chosen. First, the pizzas were made in a literal brick hut - even in 1950, not a lot you can get from $600. Second, the cramped sign only had enough space for nine letters - the rest is history. Apple © Reuters Itâs no surprise that when it came to finally naming Apple, absolutely no one would take on the duty other than marketing genius, eccentric CEO and perhaps one of the most famous late men of the 21st century, Steve Jobs. Thereâs a whole set of rumours about the name Apple - one says that Jobs took inspiration from the story of how Sir Issac Newton observed a falling apple before devising the laws of universal gravitation. The true answer is much simpler - during the time, Jobs happened to be living on an all-fruit diet. The name simply came to him while visiting an apple farm. Coca-Cola © Reuters Serving as one of the great faces of modern capitalism, right alongside McDonalds and more, Coca-Cola is a pretty ancient company - almost 130 years old. Back in the early days, the drink was promoted as a headache cure, and two of the most important additives were cocaine and caffeine - both obtained from the âcocaâ leaf and the âcolaâ nut. If youâre curious, each bottle contained some 9 milligrams of cocaine - a standard âlineâ of the substance contains 50-60 milligrams. Soon after in 1903, the dope was removed, and the world began to move on to everyoneâs favourite carbonated sugary drink, as we know it. Facebook © Reuters Ever seen Aaron Sorkinâs film, The Social Network? If you have, youâll know that before the tech giant had its name, it also had a common prefix as âThe Facebookâ. Originally, the website was a networking tool inspired by Harvardâs annual paper guide distributed to first-year students, which profiled staff and students. Launched in 2004, Mark Zuckerbergâs original site was intended solely for Harvard students but quickly spread to other U.S. universities. By 2005, Zuckerberg dropped the âtheâ and Facebook was born. Royal Enfield © Reuters An icon of both Indian riders and classic British motorcycling heritage, the Royal Enfield name has absolute cult status in the country - even though its origins were far more colonial. Whatâs interesting about the Enfield marquee is that the name has changed twice - back over into Royal Enfield once again. It began in 1890, when the British crown cleared licenses for the brand. Soon after, the motorcycles made a reputation for themselves, especially in World War II. By 1955, the brand had a decent following in India as well, where the government ordered a massive 800 units of the motorcycles for its police and army forces. Soon after, Madras Motors were looped into a deal and Enfield India was born. It wasnât until 1990 that Enfield India merged with the Eicher Group, forming the Royal Enfield we know and love today. Amazon © Reuters Before he created Amazon in 1996, founder Jeff Bezos christened his company Cadabra. That was short for Abracadabra, or the word he felt best conjured the idea that a book would magically appear âAbracadabra! â on a customerâs doorstep. After Bezosâ lawyer thought âcadabraâ sounded like âcadaver,â and Bezos reconsidered. His perfect name would begin with an A, thus appearing first in the alphabetical listing of a web search. As the largest river in the world â strong, swift and exotic â the Amazon proved to be his ultimate inspiration. View the full article

  7. It's no secret that a great beard with an amazing hairstyle can completely change your overall aesthetic. Whether you like to keep it thick or maintain a stubble, beard adds a great dimension to your hairstyle. Just by considering a few elements while pairing your beard and hairstyle, you can get the right combination for yourself. Check it out. 1. Short Hair With Short Beard © Instagram/Ayushmann Khurrana A perfect way to add symmetry to your short hair is by dovetailing a short beard with it. The aesthetic is very minimal and you cannot ever go wrong with this style. Trim your beard and it will do the trick. This is one of the combinations that's a no brainer and hardly takes any time. 2. Full Moustache & Short Beard © Istock Every guy's hair and beard grow differently. You might have worked a thick beard in the past with a thin moustache. Now, when you have short hair, you can reverse it too. A light fade beard style with a seamless thick moustache looks undeniably fashionable. 3. Unkempt Hair With Full Beard © Istock The I-woke-up-like-this look can show some amazing results with a luscious beard. Let your short hair look unkempt as it creates an illusion of volume and adds more charm to your beard. If the growth goes out of control, a quick trim is a good idea. For a messy appearance, run your fingers on your hair and get a fluffy effect. 4. Neat Side Part With Stubble © Istock Stubble is easy to maintain and it complements well with a side part hairstyle. It looks groomed and gives a really good impression. This one is also the best combination that you can pull off effortlessly for work hours or a boardroom meeting. For someone, who can't grow a full beard, the pairing makes it all even. 5. Buzz Cut & Thick Beard © Istock A buzz cut is yet another short hairstyle that has been on the radar. With this cut, you can go all-in with your beard by growing a thick one. The volume balances out the overall appearance. The grown-out beard also lets you save time from shaving. This style instantly adds more suaveness to your short hair. The combination is quite artistic and funky as this short beard is a bit different than the usual ones you see. For more brownie points, make sure to trim it evenly. View the full article
  8. Tennis queen Maria Sharapova on Sunday shared a picture of UK's Queen Elizabeth driving a car, saying that it made her smile. Taking to Instagram, the five-time grand slam winner wrote that the picture prompted her to tell her grandmother that "it's never too late to get that drivers' license". "This made me smile. It also made me call my grandmother and tell her it's never too late to get that driver's license," Sharapova wrote on the picture that she shared to her Instagram stories. The Russian tennis star is currently dating British millionaire Alexander Gilkes, who is known as New York’s best-connected Briton. His ex-wife is also a friend of Meghan Markle. According to reports, Gilkes is understood to have become friends with Prince William when they were both at Eton and is also said to be close to Prince Harry, who also went to the same school. He was also a guest at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle recently dropped a bombshell on the royal family with the announcement that they were quitting from their royal duties. The news not only caught the royal family by surprise, it also had the world talking about the couple's decision. The latest development even elicited comments from the world's most powerful man, US President Donald Trump.
  9. OnePlus decided to show up at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this year and showcase a new phone. It's a concept phone so don't expect it to be made available for purchase. Called the OnePlus Concept One Phone, the new phone has a lot of interesting things to talk about. It's no secret that the OnePlus Concept One has a camera that magically disappears. Yeah, the marquee feature of the phone is that it uses a new kind of "electrochromic glass" that makes it look as if there's no camera at the back. What it does, is it essentially tints the lenses to make them blend into the body. Here, take a look at this image - © Twitter/ Austin Evans See how it works? It looks a little gimmicky, but that's what we have. It's also worth pointing out that the camera is not entirely invisible. You can still see it from certain angles, but it does a fantastic job of hiding it. But would someone want a disappearing camera, to begin with? Well, the only logical explanation to that is it'll look very slick on a phone that's completely black. The idea behind the concept is to hide and keep the camera discreet. It's purely aesthetics. The OnePlus Concept One is a big bright phone with O range leather. But imagine a phone with a slick glass body. Using this glass will keep the camera discreet, giving it a neat and clean look. So let's just say that the future OnePlus phones will be a treat to look at. With its industry-first disappearing rear camera, the #OnePlusConceptOne is a testament to our untiring passion for challenging convention. Witness the beauty of the unseen at #CES2020, January 7-10. pic.twitter.com/b5I4ma25pE â OnePlus (@oneplus) January 7, 2020 Also, it only takes 0.7 seconds for the electrochromic glass to turn on and off. According to OnePlus, it's the same time it takes to open the camera, so it'll be ready to go as soon as you launch the camera. The way it works is, the camera remains hidden when it's not in use, and it automatically shows up when you fire it up. What's interesting is that OnePlus says the glass can also be used as an ND filter, which is an absolute treat for photographers. So that's the only thing which makes the electrochromic glass useful beyond just aesthetics. There's an option in the camera software to enable it, which is very neat. © Twitter/ David Immel The OnePlus Concept One, as you can see, has leather. It's the Papaya Orange color, the same one which we're used to seeing from the McLaren edition OnePlus phones. OnePlus says it's the same leather that's being used in McLaren cars for the seat covers. Internally, the OnePlus Concept One has the same internals as the OnePlus 7T Pro. It sports a 6.7-inch 90Hz AMOLED panel, is powered by Snapdragon 855+ processor with 12GB of RAM and 4,085 mAh battery. It has the same curved glass and metal sides. It looks pretty slick but it's sad that we won't be able to buy it, at least not anytime soon. We don't know if OnePlus is planning on implementing this tech in its next phone, but we're super excited to see what the brand comes up with. View the full article
  10. From prediciting (years before they actually happened) Donald Trump's presidency, Ebola virus outbreak, 5th episode of 'Game of Thrones Season 8' to predicting almost every breakthrough in technological invention, The Simpsons family knows the future like no one else. For those who don't know or have never heard about 'The Simpsons', I will assume that you were living under a rock all this time. FYI, the show that made its debut in 1989 is a satirical portrayal of a family, who lives in the fictional town of Springfield. The members in the family are Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. © Fox Studios However, except for the fact that the show made some crazy predictions that came true, how well do you know 'The Simpsons', one of the legendary families and sitcom in the history of television? We've compiled a list of some interesting facts that even the show's fans (except the biggest ones maybe) probably didn't know. 1. It usually takes around 6 to 8 months to create a single episode of 'The Simpsons'. 2. 'D'oh' is actually a word that was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2001. The word is defined as: "Expressing frustration at the realisation that things have turned out badly or not as planned, or that one has just said or done something foolish." 'D'oh' is my favourite word now. © Fox Studios 3. This is the longest-running prime-time comedy and animated series in the history of American television. The show also holds the record for most guest stars on a television series. 4. In case you missed it, all the characters in the show have only 4 fingers on each hand, except God. Only God has five fingers. 5. Wonder why the show's main characters are yellow in colour? In order to attract the attention of channel hoppers. And you thought there was some hidden meaning behind it! 6. Bart's hair always consists of nine points, except for when it's combed. 7. TIME magazine in 1998 once called this show the century's best television series. In fact, in the same edition, they included Bart Simpson in the list of the century's 100 most influential people. Bart was the only fictional character to make it to the list. 9. In 1990, 'The Simpsons' released an album called 'The Simpsons: Sing The Blues'. One of the songs, 'Do The Bartman' was a global hit. 11. The Lok Sabha Election results have been termed as TsuNaMo and Modi Wave 2.0, and we all know why that is. The clean sweep win for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been the biggest topic of discussion since yesterday and sure enough friends and foes of the winning party have come forward to have their say. © Twitter But if there is one thing about such events that keep common people on their toes, it's the prospect of finding out what the opposition parties and celebrities have to say about it. And surely, many politicians and celebrities have voiced themselves since the results came out. While reactions to the such a major event are to be found in abundance, what's the fun in that? So instead of doing what is most obvious, we decided to bring you 5 very interesting things celebrities have said about the election results. Gul Panag © Twitter This is turning into a Shok Sabha for the opposition! — Gul Panag (@GulPanag) May 23, 2019 Well, what can we say, but it did turn into a shok sabha for Congress and AAP eventually. Thankfully, they haven't been the kind of sore losers everyone was expecting them to be. Vishal Dadlani © Twitter This was my prediction, a few hours before exit polls. It's not about Pulwama. Nor about development, nor Mandir/Masjid nor any such. The narrative that has truly worked is "if not Modi...who?". No opposition party was able to provide an answer with any resonance. Truth. https://t.co/o6RWu4cFpt — VISHAL DADLANI (@VishalDadlani) May 23, 2019 Known for his honest opinions when it comes to politics and rights of citizens, even Vishal laid down the bigger truth as it was. India chose its leader and the reasons are in front of us to see. Siddharth © Twitter #Congress should consider changing their team name like #DelhiDaredevils. There are only so many thrashings under an incapable leader and self goals that any party can take. Is the grand old party of Independent India on its death bed? #IndianElections2019 — Siddharth (@Actor_Siddharth) May 23, 2019 If there is one celebrity who has constantly been very verbal with his objections, it has to be Telugu actor Siddharth. However, after the Lok Sabha Election verdict, even Siddharth urged the opposition to introspect. Shashi Tharoor © Twitter As my lead nears 50,000 with 72% counted, i feel like a batsman who has scored a century while his team has lost! It's a bittersweet emotion I will take some time to reflect on. #TharoorForTvm — Shashi Tharoor (@ShashiTharoor) May 23, 2019 This post of the wordsmith was so on-point, we couldn't help but agree to it. It's sad to see that Shashi Tharoor couldn't celebrate his hatrick win the way he wanted to. Shekhar Kapur © Twitter The world does not want to believe the Indian Voter has a mind of its own? The rubbish I have been reading makes them look like sheep following a herd. 85 million are first time voters who voted for a better future. The results will declare who they believe will give it to them — Shekhar Kapur (@shekharkapur) May 23, 2019 Again, it's time we all accept and respect the verdict that's come about regardless of whether it goes with our personal beliefs or not.
  12. Look, I don't care if the video footage from 'Avengers: Endgame' has been leaked by one of the inside men of the Marvel Studios (maybe, keep a closer look at your men, MARVEL!) and sure there's that theory released by infamous Redditor who'd successfully predicted every event of 'Avengers: Infinity War' that has made the people of internet gasping for air. But, the Marvel nerd in me has somehow kept me afloat in such testing times when everyone is looking to ruin the whole experience for me by “accidentally” tagging me on the Facebook posts about the leaked footage. FYI - There's a special place in 'Hel' for such people (get it?) Anyhow, as a lover of Stan Lee's vision and Kevin Feige's touch to make the Marvel Comics an even better visual delight and attention to detail, I am always on the lookout for the smallest of hints and easter eggs that the brilliant geeks at Marvel Studios slide into the movie footage. I caught one such hint in one of the latest Endgame “spots” released by the Studios titled “Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame | "Mission" Spot” In the footage, Captain America talks about dividing the Avengers into various teams with missions allotted to each of them. “No mistakes, no dovers. Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives,” he says as the Avengers assemble and raise their fists together. © Marvel Studios And this is it. This is where the clue lies. In this scene there are nine people making the circle. According to the rest of the trailer we are certain that Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Rocket, Clint Barton, Scott Lang are seen wearing the quantum realm suit, standing in that very circle. Also, according to the previous trailers we know that Nebula and James Rhodes also have been seen walking through the Avengers' plane hanger wearing the suit. So, who is the ninth character? We can judge by the modifications made to the suits and the length and size of the hands, we can make some really well-educated guesses as to who is standing where: Let's start with the very obvious one going counter clockwise: We can see Rocket, Nebula, then we have Rhodes' customised Iron Patriot suit, followed by Scott, Natasha, Barton and finally Rogers and Stark. However, the last hand has to belong to a physically bigger being like Thor. © Marvel Studios But if my theory about Captain Marvel's fate in the first half of the movie is true, then Thor will not be available to go on this 'mission'. So if not Thor, then who? I guess you know where we are going with this. This has to be Hulk! Getting over his loss against Thanos at the Argardian ship at the beginning of Infinity War, Hulk might finally be back. But, wait! There's more! Notice how calm and relaxed that hand is? Almost as if the Hulk isn't angry anymore. As if, Bruce Banner has some kind of control over the green beast. And believe it or not but In the Marvel Comics, there also exists a character like who has the mind of Banner and strength of the Hulk and is known by the name of Professor Hulk. Could this be true?

  17. If you're trying out new ways to date women this year, you're right on point with your decision! While dating trends are changing, so are people's outlook towards life and that's what incorporates a steady and healthy dating life. Along with some basic dating trends, if you want to up your dating app vibe and make it more relatable with the female audience you're trying to impress, then you can figure out how to do that by hearing it from the horse's mouth. OkCupid, a renowned dating app service has through its research listed some sure-shot ways to up your dating game this year, through your dating app. (c)Pintrest And they mean business when they seriously tell you to up your dating game, since they know how dull app history can be, thanks to their invincible algorithm. So, if you want to lurk ahead and find some interesting matches online, here are 7 simple yet well researched steps you need to follow and see the magic unfold (1) Update Your Profile Frequently An estimated 1 in 3 dating app users don't update their dating app profile once they put it up - but if you add a new photo or a new story, most dating apps treat you like a new person and the algorithm kicks into gear, showing you to MORE people. So, if you want to find newer people, and trick the algorithm into thinking you're brand new yourself, keep updating your profile often. Put new pictures, update or change your bio or any other information you like. (c)Getty Images (2) Upload More Photos & Not Just Selfies Share photos that show what makes you- whether that's volunteering, running marathons or hanging out with friends. Here's the secret - you want to make it easy for that other person out there to reach out to the photo and say “I went to New Zealand last month too and loved it! Did you go to Wellington?” Here's a secret ingredient- photos that include animals are 3x more likely to get attention. Just don't go chasing dogs to click selfies with them. (c)Getty Images (3) Show More Tell Less Instead of describing yourself with a long list of adjectives, talk about the things you love and enjoy doing. If you love dogs, show a picture with you and your dog in the park; if you're an adrenaline junkie, mention the time you went skydiving (or even played Kabaddi for that matter); if you're funny describe an instance when you were heroically funny or maybe list an original joke? Just put pictures which talk at the same time so the person checking your profile looks forward to talking to you, eventually. (c)Getty Images (4) Answer All The Questions The App Asks You Most apps ask you a bunch of questions to gather more information. OkCupid for example, has a bunch of interesting questions for you and according to what you answer, they find the perfect match. So, make sure you answer all of them, in order to find what you're seeking. You'll even figure out what you're actually looking for in the process too. (c)Getty Images (5) Send Meaningful Messages While it is true that women are 2.5x more likely to get a response than men if they initiate the conversation. Men shouldn't lose heart. Look at a prospective match's profile and comment on something specific that you like. Keep it around 140 characters and please don't say “hey.” Try to engage on a specific photo or question. And yes, saying “hey” in a first message is almost equivalent to saying nothingâ—âthis greeting has an 84% chance of being completely ignored. So, maybe comment on a picture if you see something interesting there and strike up a conversation about the same with her? (c)Pintrest (6) Put More Time & Energy Into Your Profile I often hear people complain saying 'there's no one to be found through these apps.' You do know that's absolutely wrong right? The purpose of these apps is to find you someone you can absolutely get along with but that won't happen until and unless you make that extra effort. If you don't log in enough on your app, you can't expect it to work on its own can you? When I asked a bunch of people how much effort and time they actually take out for their apps, most of them said 5 minutes per week! (c)Pintrest Dating is FUN! But don't forget you get out of it what you put into it, so put some love into finding love. Many apps make your profile dormant if you don't go on for more than two weeks, meaning they stop showing you people. Here's another interesting fact you probably didn't know about dating apps and what they do! They increase your likes by up to 3x when you log in everyday! (7) Get Your Timings Right Well, according to well researched activity, dating apps are most crowded around 5 pm daily. That's when the maximum traffic is processed and people are often found swiping then. Apart from that, Sunday turns out to be the best and successful day to plan dates for the week! So, if you find a successful match and if you're confused about a day to meet, keep Sunday in mind for sure. (c)Pintrest While the world making sure dating apps don't go obsolete in the coming future by upping the content on them, they're also making sure everything is well researched so that people actually find what they're looking for. The following data is well researched and inspected before divulged so you may want to take these 7 points more seriously, to up your dating game and successfully finding what you're looking for, this year!

  21. For years we've heard companies brag about their research and development on foldable or bendable displays. Flexing a display isn't new though; both Samsung and LG had their short stints with slightly bendable displays with the Galaxy Round and G Flex. But, the technology remains new and lacks practical applications right now. Samsung got us all excited again in November by finally showing off a concept phone. It did not detail whether the smartphone will go on sale anytime soon or how much it will cost, but it's sure that we can expect a launch soon in the coming quarters. © Samsung Last year, we saw reports stating that even Huawei and LG are working on "foldable" displays. One thing is crystal clear, the future of smartphones is bendable. And, this is the essential reason why every major player wants a piece in the development process. Google is relatively new to the "hardware" part of smartphones with the Pixel series. Even after three generations of launches, the line-up is yet to pick up traction in terms of sales. Now, a fresh rumour is doing the rounds stating Google is also working on foldable phones. © YouTube According to Wccf tech, their source "Murtazin" believes Google has a foldable smartphone under the works. The source has a mixed track record, and we wouldn't jump seeing a single report, but there are multiple official announcements that solidify this claim. In August, Google announced native support for foldable phones in Android. And, Google was also awarded a patent for a hinged folding phone, and it looked like it might be working with Motorola on the development. © USPTO The United States Patent and Trademark Office published the details of the invention on its website, which shows a two-part handset with a hinged area in the middle. The majority of the text covers the method of displaying on or either side of the hinge, plus the software that would control it. Additionally, the document illustrates the different modes the phone could be used in. Keep in mind, it's normal for companies to patent technology as soon as possible. But, this doesn't guarantee fruition of the project. We are confident about one thing though, Google won't be the "first" one to release this technology. Samsung has been aiming for the throne since years and seems almost ready to grab it. Source: Wccf tech
  22. One of Bollywood's most anticipated movies of 2019 'Kalank', boasts of a loaded star-cast, besides a plot that has been most successfully kept under wraps. The film stars some of Bollywood's most popular actors such as Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt, besides many other prominent faces from the industry. © Dharma Productions While tabloids have often tried to unearth the plot of the movie, the makers have ensured that no crucial detail related to it makes its way beyond the film's set. Yet, there are a few interesting facts that have made their way into the public arena, and we've got them all for you here: 1. The plot of the movie was conceptualised by Yash Johar along with his son and producer of the film, Karan Johar almost 15 years ago! 2. Varun who is said to be playing Kapur's brother in the film called Sonakshi 'bhabi' on the photo-sharing platform. Which kind of confirms that Sonakshi Sinha might be playing Aditya Roy Kapur's love interest in the film. 6. The movie will bring together Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit as an onscreen couple after 21 years since the release of 'Mahaanta' in 1997. 9. The movie is believed to be set in the 1940s and might have a Pakistan connect. 'Kalank' would be one of the two-period films that Sanjay Dutt will be a part of next year. The other one being 'Panipat'. The movie is set to release on 19th April 2019, and going by the works, it seems like all the mysterious vibes it's creating is just the right kind of hype for the movie. With a great director and awesome producers backing the film, along with an envious star cast, we totally expect the film to be a super hit release of 2019.
  23. Ranveer Singh's wedding outfit pictures are out, and every groom in the country right now is under a lot of pressure - if not for anything else - simply because of how extraordinary Ranveer looked as one. There is no outdoing him, ever, but more importantly, everyone is spellbound at how detail oriented all his outfits were. Clearly, a lot of thought went into the conceptualization of the theme, just like a true-blue Sabyasachi line, and here are 5 interesting elements that contributed to the royal appeal of the outfits. 1. Elephants © Instagram/Deepikapadukone Ranveer made an appearance at the airport right after his wedding, and wore a strikingly interesting Nehru jacket. His bright crimson jacket had elephant motifs all over, something that didn't come as a surprise to us because of Sabyasachi's love for the natural grandeur that India's fauna brings to the table. 2. Falcon © Instagram/Deepikapadukone Ranveer's Sindhi wedding ceremony saw the man embrace jewellery like no other groom ever did. He wore a neckpiece that had an enormous falcon pendant, encrusted with uncut diamonds and emeralds. Sabyasachi's heritage jewellery often portrays a design sensibility that is all about the wonders of nature. 3. Roses © Instagram/Deepikapadukone The colour scheme of Ranveer's entire wedding outfit line was based on the various hues of roses. Sabyasachi already has a section of outfits in his line dedicated to the richness of roses, that he calls 'Gulaab', and he just took it to the next level with this wedding. 4. Gold © Instagram/Deepikapadukone © Instagram/Deepikapadukone All the detailing in every outfit Ranveer wore during the wedding was gold-based. The rich, rustic opulence of gold helped bring out the regal aesthetic of all the princely outfits Ranveer donned - be it the Konkani wedding or the Sindhi. It all looked surreal! 5. Maroon & Green Jewels © Instagram/Deepikapadukone Tourmalines, Garnets, and Emeralds made their presence felt in Ranveer's outfits, apart from the uncut diamonds, of course. The precious to semi-precious stones in that particular colour scheme is royal, and masculine at the same time - which is an extension of Ranveer's personal style statement.

Besides, you can have a great conversation while at it too! 2. Take A Boat Ride This one may not be totally free, but then it won't cost you a bomb either.
