  1. Sudan has seen a lot of turmoil and instability since June 2019, when the military first ousted the long-term ruling president Omar-Al-Bashir. It all started way back in December 2018, when the ruling president's government imposed emergency austerity methods in order to do away with an inevitable economic collapse. © BBC This led to a severe political crisis, which in turn made the security forces open fire on pro-democracy protestors in Khartoum. While the protest was peacefully handled, according to the New York Times, as many as 100 people have been killed and about 326 injured. At least 100 peaceful protesters were killed during a military crackdown in Sudan — now the country is at a standstill pic.twitter.com/AK0mPNkG8U — NowThis (@nowthisnews) 12 June 2019 The protestors are demanding a civilian-led interim government and since then, representatives of the protests have been in talks with the military, determining who takes control of authority. But the situation has bled for way too long now and according to the Central Committee of Sudan Doctors, at least 40 bodies were recovered from the river Nile. But How Did It All Begin? Well, the protests started in December 2018 to overthrow the President. Cuts were made to bread and fuel subsidies which sparked protests in the east over the standard of living and ultimately, they reached to the capital Khartoum. The protestors obviously demanded Bashir's government to be thrown out, who had been in power for 30 years. The protests finally reached a conclusion on April 6, when people occupied the square in front of the military headquarters and demanded that the army fight the president out of his rule. Almost 5 days later, the military announced the president was no longer in power. © BBC Women played a main role in the protests, with 22-year-old Alaa Saleh leading the group. Even though a woman was the face of the protestors, as many as 70 women were raped by the police and the paramilitary forces during an attack at the protest camp, while some protestors were shot at, on June 3rd. #SudanMassacre What is happening in Sudan? This is so bad. pic.twitter.com/fMvdiKlUB3 — jafar badi (@BadiJafar) 13 June 2019 So, Now Who Is In Charge? A council of generals took over on April 11 but there was a lot of struggle for the country to regain normalcy, in every sense of the word. The seven-member Transitional Military Council is led by Lt-Gen Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Burhan and they insist they need to be in charge to bring everything back to normalcy again. But unfortunately, the army is not a unified force in the country and a lot of paramilitary organisations and Islamic militia have also taken up authority there. For now, the streets of Sudan are deserted with a complete Internet blackout in the country. The United Nations has condemned the attacks and The Human Rights Council has been called about to probe an inquiry into the Human Rights violations committed by the military in Sudan. Schools, hospitals and health centres in #Sudan have been targeted, looted and destroyed. Health workers have been attacked simply for doing their job. To save children's lives, the violence must stop. #ChildrenUnderAttack pic.twitter.com/A6VbGI6aGo — UNICEF (@UNICEF) 13 June 2019 Who Exactly Is The Opposition? Even though the economic collapse brought the Sudanese from all walks of life to the streets, the demonstration organisation was taken over by The Sudanese Professionals Association, a collaboration of doctors, lawyers and health workers. The protestors are local people across all age groups but most of them are young people, fighting for their rights. When the military finally took power in April, the protestors stood outside Military Headquarters demanding the authority to be given to a civilian administration. The civilian group of protestors and the ruling generals, who come under the umbrella group 'Alliance For Freedom and Change', eventually came to an agreement. © Twitter What Did They Agree On? Both the Civilian Administration and the Military decided on a three-year-transition period to civilian rule. An agreement was reached on May 15, 2019. The protestors claim that Bashir's regime is so deeply planted and implemented that a long transition is needed to completely uproot his political network and allow fair democratic elections again. The two sides also agreed on a new government, including a sovereign council, a cabinet and a legislative body. © Twitter But unfortunately, the military leaders didn't stick to their decisions and scrapped the agreements reached to set up a fresh elections mandate within nine months. The TMC head decided to stop negotiating with the Alliance For Freedom and Change and cancel whatever had been agreed on. In the wake of this fresh agreement, the pro-democracy leaders said they were cutting all contacts with the TMC and called for a 'total civil disobedience' and a general strike. While the strikes were called off on June 11, which almost brought Khartoum to a standstill, most African and Western countries have backed the protestors. Saudi Arabia has urged discussion on both sides but not condemned the military. © Twitter After the strikes have been pulled away, protest leaders are willing to resume power-sharing talks with the ruling military council. “The Alliance for Freedom and Change agreed to end the civil disobedience from today. Both sides have also agreed to resume talks soon." Mahmoud Drir, the official mediator made a statement about the situation. We just hope both the parties reach a common consensus and peace is restored in Sudan, especially in Khartoum, really soon.
  2. Rains have been playing spoilsport in a wide majority of matches played in this year's edition of the ICC World Cup 2019. With 4 of the matches to be played in the World Cup already washed out, fans are increasingly concerned about what the rules are regarding rain and washouts. As per ICC guidelines, all matches are expected to wrap up within an 8 hour-long period and match officials are expected to follow due process regarding abandoning of a match. If conditions improve within this 8 hour period, a pitch inspection determines whether a game can start or resume and if so, then within how much time. If conditions do not improve or if the pitch is not worthy of a game of cricket, the match is abandoned. Reserve days for matches in the group stages have not been implemented this year and this resulted in World Cup chief David Richardson to weigh in on the issue. "Factoring in a reserve day for every match at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup would significantly increase the length of the tournament and practically would be extremely complex to deliver." Statement from David Richardson â¬ï¸ https://t.co/OEOXAJ4h8h — ICC (@ICC) June 11, 2019 Richardson claimed that the resulting longevity of the tournament and external factors like pitch preparation, venue availability, staffing, etc. make reserve days very difficult to incorporate. There is also no guarantee whether the rain will not interfere with matches in reserve days as well. “Factoring in a reserve day for every match at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup would significantly increase the length of the tournament and practically would be extremely complex to deliver,” he said. © Reuters This year's World Cup is also the first to feature a Super Over in cases of rain delays and match abandonments in the semi-final and final stage. In case of extreme weather conditions, it is once again at the discretion of the match officials whether to hold the Super Over at the official time which is 10 minutes after the game, or at a later time. Also weighing in on the debate of whether this was the wrong time to host a huge international competition in England, Richardson said in his statement, “this is extremely unseasonable weather. In the last couple of days we have experienced more than twice the average monthly rainfall for June which is usually the third driest month in the UK.” Whether or not the rules, scheduling and guidelines are appropriate is up for debate, but no cricket fan wants to see highly anticipated and exciting matches being abandoned due to rain.
  3. A word like 'ripped' has probably never ever been used to describe Arjun Kapoor (no offence), but there's always a first for everything and now, it's his time to shine. Just an hour ago, Arjun Kapoor shared a couple of pictures of himself, as proof that he's been hitting the gym. I guess that's what happens when you're dating someone as fit as Malaika. 4. Kartik Aaryan may have started small in the industry, but the man has now broken all the stereotypes of an outsider not making a mark in Bollywood, and has established himself as a superstar. Kartik became the national crush just after his debut with 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and from that point on, there was no stopping him. The star is basking right now in his much-deserved glory after the success of his films like 'Luka Chuppi', 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2'. He has gained popularity amongst the youth as well as family audiences and this is why he has become the go-to actor for even the popular brands. Kartik was much appreciated for his role in 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and the songs from the movie were at the top of everyone's party playlists. And now, looks like Kartik has found a new fan, courtesy his song 'Bom Diggy Diggy'. His song has got the attention of our Desi Girl's hubby Nick Jonas, who has now become Kartik's fan. We wonder how would Kartik react to this rather interesting development. It will be interesting to see Nick grooving with Kartik to this song. Considering Nick himself is a sensation in the music space, it's totally an achievement for Kartik. View this post on Instagram Priyanka's fans are everywhere & she's so loved worldwide!! Recently, on a chat show, Kartik revealed that his journey in Bollywood has been full of struggles and it wasn't a cakewalk. "There have been situations in my life where I thought that it's not working out. During my struggling days also, I used to think, 'I don't know what's going to happen.' 5. They say free goodies always taste better than the stuff we have to pay for. That isn't always true, though. When life gives us lemons, no matter how costless they might be, the lemonade still tastes like shit. So, earlier today when the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) Chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that women in the national capital will be 'entitled' to free rides on Delhi Metro, DTC and cluster buses, the announcement left a sour taste in our mouth (pun intended). A large number of female commuters who use public transportation on a regular basis are thrilled by this news, while others are also concerned about the chaos this would unleash, with problems stemming from overcrowding and people management on buses and metros. © Twitter However, that being said, at first glance, it does seem like a great move to encourage more women to use public transportation, but we fail to fathom how this is going to better the pressing issues related to women's safety in the state? Giving every woman free access to metro and buses in no way helps ensure that women will really be safe from abuse, molestation or rape. In fact, it only makes them more vulnerable to other kinds of inconvenience such as theft and difficulties that arise from overcrowding. Women might still get stalked, cat-called and assaulted once they get off the metro and buses, so, sorry, but Kejriwal's reasoning behind this 'free ride' move does nothing to endure women's safety. © Twitter Yet, the major question still remains: Are 'special' privileges the only way of ensuring women's safety? “I remember when the women's compartment was introduced on metros, men seem to hate the special treatment women received, and have often lashed out at women who travel in the general compartments 'despite having an entire compartment to themselves'. Thanks, but we can pay for our rides, spare us the chaos,” says 28-year-old Dutee. The overarching sentiment shared by women who can afford to pay for the tickets is that this step is unnecessary for a number of reasons. However, for those who may not be as privileged, this surely comes as a great relief and there is no denying that fact. Regardless of the money in their pockets, women will now be able to get from one place to another without being bothered by the monetary aspects (especially in times of dire need). Now women can travel free of cost in Delhi metro and DTC bus...there was already reserved seats everywhere for women....I don't understand what kind of equality is this between men and women?..Then why everyone said that लडà¤à¤¾ लडà¤à¥ à¤à¤ समान?? — pranav sangal (@pranavsangal4) June 3, 2019 34-year-old Neetu, who works as a house help in South Delhi, wasn't even aware that something of the sort is in the pipeline for Delhi women. But once she was informed, she was beyond relieved and said, “I avoid taking the metro unless I really have to, and the same goes for AC buses. But if this new rule really comes to pass, I won't have to think twice before taking them when I am travelling long distances within the city. It would make life so easy. I hope they can make it happen.” These are two diverse sets of female commuters who hit the roads every day and have different standpoints on Kejriwal's proposal, which will reportedly take another three months to get implemented. While there are genuine pros and cons to this proposal presented by the AAP government, there is no denying that another segment of women are still questioning why women 'always' have to be given special benefits for their “safety”, which again takes away from the larger movement towards equality. © Twitter “This will set back womenfolk and the feminist movement in the country yet again. We need better and stronger ways of safeguarding women's security. Special incentives do nothing more than make men loathe women for “all the things they get easily” and “get away with” simply because they belong to a particular gender,” observes Snigdha, a college student who regularly uses public transport. On certain levels, this somehow also reeks of vote-bank politics by the AAP government. After failing to bag even a single Lok Sabha seat in the recently concluded elections, this almost seems like a desperate move by the Kejriwal government to get into the good books of the female population in Delhi. What for? Are we Delhi Women not considered capable enough to pay for tickets? Is this empowerment in your understanding??! Delhi Metro, bus rides likely to be free of cost for women - India News https://t.co/cdAX2YVXlu — Pragya Rathore (@pragsrats) June 2, 2019 We certainly wish the Kejriwal government could come out with more concrete ways to deal with the vital issue of women's safety in the city. While this might help to a certain extent, the impending chaos is almost palpable. We wonder if this move to warm up to women in the region will help AAP in salvaging its sorry state of affairs, ahead of the State Assembly Elections in 2020.
  6. Those who have seen the trailer of 'Kabir Singh' featuring Shahid Kapoor would have an idea that something great is in store for them. As soon as the teaser of 'Kabir Singh' was unveiled, Twitter users began comparing it to the Vijay-starrer 'Arjun Reddy'. Fans are excited to see Shahid on the big screen and nail this character to its fullest. But guess what? Shahid wasn't the first choice for the role. It was Arjun Kapoor. Yes, you heard it right. Director Sandeep Vanga, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, confirmed that he had approached Arjun for the role initially. When the director was asked if the makers approached Arjun Kapoor, he said, “Yeah, but before that Shahid and I were already in talks, so I couldn't just jump to another actor It's not about whose acting caliber is greater but it's about the commitment.” Well, we wonder what would it have been to see Arjun play this character. Coming back to Shahid, he has left no stone unturned to get into this character and the trailer has created the right noise for the film. Watch the trailer here: The film's story revolves around a surgeon whose life changes completely after a bad breakup. He uses drugs and alcohol to get over the pain that break-up has caused him. The film also features Kiara Advani in lead role and is set to release on June 21. It will be interesting to see how the movie shapes up. Are you excited for this one? 7. Grooming down there can be tricky business. It can also be rather intimidating for someone trying to groom down there for the first time. Did you know that there is a list of things that you should keep in mind before you groom down there? And the thing is, these things will make a substantial difference to your grooming routine. 1. Always Disinfect Your Razor/Trimmer Before Use © Getty Images Start with rinsing off the blades with hot water. Then, add a small dollop of dish soap to the blades, and scrub the razor with a toothbrush to remove any grime present. Finish with washing the soap off the razor using hot water. Rinse off the blades with hot water. If you want to go a step further, you could apply a cleaning agent like rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. 2. Start Off With Scissors © Getty Images You can start off with trimming your pubic hair. This not only cuts your time to half in terms of using a trimmer or a razor but also streamlines the approach. 3. It's Best To Keep It Uniform It looks a little funny if you groom down there but let your chest hair be or the other way. If you've booked yourself a grooming session or scheduled time for it at home, make sure you go all the way. 4. Take A Shower Before © Getty Images Taking a shower helps in more ways than one. Firstly, it makes the whole process hassle-free and secondly, the after shave skin will be extremely smooth to touch. 5. Use Rash Creams Generously © Getty Images Rash creams are a blessing to humanity in general. Two pumps of a rash cream can save you from itching and razor burns later. 6. Use Gel-Based Razors © Getty Images If you prefer razors to clean up, you should probably prefer gel-based razor that comes with lubrication with aloe vera or any other soothing agent that quickens the process of cleaning down there.

  9. With the ICC World Cup 2019 beginning today, the captains of every cricket team that qualified for the quadrennial tournament visited Buckingham Palace to share a moment or two with Queen Elizabeth of the Royal Family of England. According to the images published by the official Twitter accounts of the Royal Family and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and some other international cricket boards, the gathering surely felt like a celebration of the game that originated on English soil and the fact that the game's biggest contest in the world is happening at home, itself. Queen Elizabeth and grandson Prince Harry took out some time to individually meet and greet every skipper, all of whom stood in a line, dressed in their cricket board's official uniform to have an interaction with the royalties. The tournament will feature the world's top ten teams, nine of whom are from the Commonwealth: Australia ð¦ðº, Bangladesh ð§ð©, England ð´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿, India ð®ð³, New Zealandð³ð¿, Pakistanðµð°, South Africa ð¿ð¦, Sri Lankað±ð° and the West Indies ð§ð¸ ð§ð§ ð¨ðº ð¯ð² ðð¹ ð©ð² ðµð· ð¬ð¾ ð¸ð· ð¹ð¹. pic.twitter.com/zVVAxlkvtv — The Royal Family (@RoyalFamily) May 29, 2019 Picture perfect ð¸#WeHaveWeWill #CWC19 #SarfarazAhmed pic.twitter.com/YuLCvR9ek6 — Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) May 29, 2019 The skipper meets Her Majesty The Queen and the Duke of Sussex at Buckingham Palaceð#MenInMaroon #ItsOurGame pic.twitter.com/qRzWVh4X0R — Windies Cricket (@windiescricket) May 29, 2019 However, when it came to the Indian cricket team's captain, Virat Kohli to come forward to meet the Queen and the Prince, the Indian cricket fans had a different concern altogether. After the original video coming out about a month ago, the official YouTube channel of Star Sports uploaded yet another video, a sequel to the previous one, but this time with former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni doing some really good acting that led us to believe that Mahi might just a better actor than more than half of Bollywood.
  10. From prediciting (years before they actually happened) Donald Trump's presidency, Ebola virus outbreak, 5th episode of 'Game of Thrones Season 8' to predicting almost every breakthrough in technological invention, The Simpsons family knows the future like no one else. For those who don't know or have never heard about 'The Simpsons', I will assume that you were living under a rock all this time. FYI, the show that made its debut in 1989 is a satirical portrayal of a family, who lives in the fictional town of Springfield. The members in the family are Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. © Fox Studios However, except for the fact that the show made some crazy predictions that came true, how well do you know 'The Simpsons', one of the legendary families and sitcom in the history of television? We've compiled a list of some interesting facts that even the show's fans (except the biggest ones maybe) probably didn't know. 1. It usually takes around 6 to 8 months to create a single episode of 'The Simpsons'. 2. 'D'oh' is actually a word that was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2001. The word is defined as: "Expressing frustration at the realisation that things have turned out badly or not as planned, or that one has just said or done something foolish." 'D'oh' is my favourite word now. © Fox Studios 3. This is the longest-running prime-time comedy and animated series in the history of American television. The show also holds the record for most guest stars on a television series. 4. In case you missed it, all the characters in the show have only 4 fingers on each hand, except God. Only God has five fingers. 5. Wonder why the show's main characters are yellow in colour? In order to attract the attention of channel hoppers. And you thought there was some hidden meaning behind it! 6. Bart's hair always consists of nine points, except for when it's combed. 7. Until 1998, the six main voice over actors earned $30,000 per episode. Between 1998 to 2004, they made $125,000 per episode. Today they make $507,000 (approx) per episode. © Fox Studios 8. TIME magazine in 1998 once called this show the century's best television series. In fact, in the same edition, they included Bart Simpson in the list of the century's 100 most influential people. Bart was the only fictional character to make it to the list. 9. In 1990, 'The Simpsons' released an album called 'The Simpsons: Sing The Blues'. One of the songs, 'Do The Bartman' was a global hit. But, did you know that the song was co-produced and co-written by none other than Michael Jackson, who was a huge fan of the show? Jackson also provided background vocals to the song. 10. 'The Simpsons' have visited all the seven continents. © Fox Studios 11. The show is the first, and so far, the only animated series to be nominated for Golden Globe for Best Television Series - musical or comedy. 12. Elizabeth Taylor, Susan Sarandon, Alec Baldwin, Mark Hamill, Steve Buscemi, James Caan, Ricky Gervais, and Joe Mantegna are the only guest actors to play both themselves and a fictional character on the series. 13. The character of Otto the bus driver is believed to be based on 'Guns N' Roses' guitarist Slash. Both have long black curly hair and are avid snake collectors. © Fox Studios 14. The website that Homer created with false 'dirt' on many citizens, was accessible at www.mrxswebpage.com. While the website still exists, it now appears to be identical to www.fox.com. 15. Bart Simpson's voice is actually that of a woman. Nancy Cartwright first tried out for Lisa's voice, but eventually ended up lending it for Bart. 16. The show's creator Matt Groening named the characters after his own family members, except for Bart. 'Bart' is an anagram for 'Brat'. © Fox Studios 17. A kid who was Bart's age when the show aired for the first time will now be as old as Homer. You can catch the latest episodes of the 'The Simpsons' on Star World.
  11. Imagine being able to say it out loud: “I am the only person to skate in Antarctica and have my name in a record book to prove it.” Well, Lakshmi Sona Singh can actually do it. Getting her name registered in India's prestigious Limca Book of Records (2019), the 35-year-old London based amateur skater put on her roller blades, stepped onto the Paradise Harbour, Antarctica and glided her way into becoming the first (and only) person to do so, on 16 December 2017. Credit: Lakshmi Sona Singh Working as a Sales Manager in a UK-based telecom services company, Lakshmi had been a great skating enthusiast ever since her childhood days in Surat, Gurjarat, where her parents introduced her to a set of wheels when she was six. However, much like the most of us, education, a good job and the ever-so-heavy burden of settling down became her priorities with her love for skating got buried deep within her heart. But as they say, “passion never dies.” Nearly three decades later, Lakshmi decided to turn her dreams of skating among the pristine surroundings of Antarctica, into reality. “I just decided to pack a bag and grab my skates,” she told us. Credit: Lakshmi Sona Singh Sure, her journey to Antarctica was not that easy. Saving up for this single trip for years, Lakshmi faced some criticism from her parents and her brother, who thought it was impossible and absolutely crazy for her to continue to work towards this goal of hers. But when she finally booked her tickets and fervourly called her parents at 3 in the morning to break the news, they had to give in to her unshaken commitment. “I was confident about finishing my journey. There was so much excitement that there was no room for nervousness, although I did get a lot of strange looks from the people who were around me on the ship when they saw my roller blades,” she said jokingly. Credit: Lakshmi Sona Singh She also had to let go of one of her clothing baggage as the weight of the roller blades itself was too much to carry, but Lakshmi was on a mission and it was a very small price to pay. Now that this endeavour of hers has come to a successful end, Lakshmi is determined to skate at the North Pole next and eventually on every other continent, with the hopes of making another record of skating on all seven continents. We wish her the best of luck!
  12. We've been playing 'Call Of Duty: Mobile' beta for a few days and the multiplayer game has some classic CoD feel to it with an added twist of Battle Royale. The game supports both multiplayer formats and there are some features and key differences in the game. 'Call Of Duty' is by far one of the biggest first-person shooter franchises and the mobile version borrows many key maps and features from its AAA counterparts. Many weapons, game modes and maps from previous CoD games are featured in the mobile version. Here are all the features, modes and things you need to know about CoD mobile: Game Modes: © Activision In classic fashion, 'Call of Duty Mobile' has multiplayer modes such as team deathmatch and domination, however, the biggest addition this week was its Battle Royale mode. The mode can be played in either third person or first person POV and has single, duos and squad (up to 4 teammates) playlists. The Battle Royale map has been stitched together using many popular CoD maps such as Firing Range, Nuketown and others. CoD Mobile also has different classes for this mode where each character has a set of unique abilities. When the game officially launches, other game modes such as Dominations, Hardpoint, and frontline are also expected to be available. Each multiplayer mode will let you play with 8 to 10 players. Firing Modes: © Activision There are two types of firing modes in Call Of Duty: Mobile i.e. simple and advanced. In simple mode, the gun fires automatically the moment you set aim on an enemy. This mode is perfect for casuals, however, we do not advise using this mode in the long run. Due to the automatic firing nature of this mode, you will often be inaccurate and miss your targets as you do not have control over your firing actions. You may not have to worry about tapping the screen to fire the gun but you will easily give away your position if you miss. In advanced mode, there is a dedicated fire mode similar to what you have seen PUBG mobile. The heads up display (HUD) has all the necessary control buttons within the reach of your thumb. If you are already used to playing PUBG mobile, this is the mode you want to use during your gameplay. This mode can also be expanded later when Activision adds support for Bluetooth gamepads. Battle Royale: © Activision There are a few key differences in the Battle Royale mode when compared to PUBG mobile. For example, you can revive your teammates even if they have died. It works similar to how it does on Apex Legends, where you can pick up your teammates' dog tag for a revival. You can also use various vehicles in the mode such has helicopters, ATVs and others for tactical advantage. Apart from vehicles, players will also need to choose a specific class before they jump out. These classes come with unique skills and abilities that players can take advantage of for better movement or even kills. It works very similar to how it does on Call of Duty's Blackout mode for Black Ops 4. What Are These Abilities? © MensXP There are plenty of abilities that are assigned to specific classes where some give you passive advantages. For example, the Ghost class lets players hide their character on the mini-map from UAVs. There are other perks such as Fast Recover, where your health regenerates faster than others. How You Can Play: 'Call of Duty: Mobile' is scheduled to launch for iOS and Android in the coming months and you can pre-register for the game on the Play Store right now (Not available for App Store). The beta is currently being tested in India and you can install the game by following these easy steps.

  14. According to a finding by 9to5Mac, Apple devices have now shown up in the Eurasian Economic Commission regulatory database. The new iPhone models have shown up ahead of their release later this year and we finally know what the model numbers are. © YouTube The 2019 iPhones have appeared in the database with model numbers A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, and A2223. The database compiles a list of devices that depend on encryption technologies and most of Apple's devices both past and present are on that list. Similarly, earlier this year the iPad Air and iPad mini 5 were registered on the database five months ahead of its launch. According to the 9to5Mac's report, “The A2111, A2161, A2215 identifiers probably represent the new iPhone XR successor. The other model identifiers will be for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max.” The other model numbers are also expected to be different versions of the iPhone 11 and the iPhone R successor as different regions offer different cellular band compatibility. In the case of China, the iPhone comes with a physical dual SIM phone that is exclusive to the region. © Twitter 2019 iPhones are expected to look largely the same as the previous generation while previous leaks have suggested a triple-camera setup at the back. In terms of the feel of the phone, there are rumours that suggest that Apple is opting for a more matte finish instead of the glass back. Other new features include reverse wireless charging for the new AirPods and Apple new more A13 chipset. © Twitter Apple will be adding an extra sensor to both the iPhone XR and the iPhone 11/11Max as a form of upgrades. The iPhone XR is now rumoured to have a dual-camera setup similar to the iPhone XS whereas the iPhone 11 is expected to have a triple camera setup. The iPhone 11 is expected to have a larger camera bump and in the shape of a square. The additional third sensor is said to be an ultra-wide lens and will also be used for more detailed images at a standard zoom level. The new iPhones are expected to be announced at Apple's annual press event that is scheduled to take place sometime in September. Source: 9to5Mac

  16. Over the years, the world of cricket has enthralled fans with numerous competitions. From day-night Tests to the advent of T20 cricket, the sport continues to thrive with its continuous evolution to cater to the ever-increasing fan-following. But, amongst the multiple events that cricket has to offer, nothing comes close to the fanfare or popularity of the ICC World Cup. One of the highly-anticipated sporting events in the world, the quadrennial cricket event garners public interest and captures the imagination of enthusiasts like no other. Four years after the first-ever ODI match was played, the organisers blessed the cricket fans with the maiden World Cup that was held in England in 1975. Since then, there has been no turning back for this mega event. And, this year's tourney promises to be no different. © Reuters Slated to begin from 30th May, the twelfth edition of the ICC spectacle promises to be an exciting affair with the participating nations vying for cricket's biggest honour. The mother of all tournaments (as one might call it), this year's World Cup will witness 10 teams competing in a single group. Each team will play with the other nine sides once, and the top four at the end of the group stage will progress to the semifinals. With the World Cup just 10 days away, cricket fans have already begun pledging their allegiances to their favourite teams. From casual banter in the office to heated dinners at home, the World Cup is undoubtedly the hottest topic at the moment. But, as we count down the days for this year's ICC spectacle, here's a look at some crazy records that stand tall at the World Cup: Most Individual Runs © Reuters No player has scored more runs at the Cricket World Cup than Sachin Tendulkar; or even come close for that matter. He scored 2,278 runs at the tournament – more than 500 more than his nearest rival – at an average of 56.95. His highest score at the World Cup came against Namibia in 2003 when he hit 152, but it was his runs in the 2011 World Cup which inspired India to glory. India will be hoping the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli can emulate the Little Master in England & Wales this year. Most Wickets © Reuters Glenn McGrath lifted the coveted trophy three times and took more wickets than anyone else in the history of the tournament; it's fair to say that the Aussie great had a huge impact at the ICC World Cup. Between his debut at the tournament in 1996 and his final appearance in 2007, McGrath claimed 71 wickets in 39 games. He may have been nearing the end of his career, but his most prolific World Cup came in 2007 where he took 26 wickets - a tournament-best tally for most wickets at a single edition of the World Cup. Most Sixes © Reuters There is no surprise to see the record for the most sixes slammed at a World Cup being shared by swashbuckling AB de Villiers and marauding Chris Gayle. Gayle hit 26 of these sixes in the last World Cup in 2015, most of which were scored in his record-breaking innings against Zimbabwe. With AB de Villiers announcing his retirement in 2018, it has provided Gayle with the opportunity to go past his South African counterpart in this year's World Cup. Most Wickets In Consecutive Balls © Reuters Lasith Malinga could very well be playing his last World Cup this year, but, when he retires, the Sri Lankan great would surely be proud of his legacy at the mega event. Amongst his numerous records in international cricket, Malinga's devastating spell against South Africa at the 2007 World Cup remains one of our fondest memories of the right-arm seamer. One of the all-time classic World Cup matches, the clash between Sri Lanka and South Africa saw Malinga running through the Proteas batting order. Cruising to victory, the Proteas were just four runs away from beating the Lankans when Malinga set a new World Cup record with 4 wickets in 4 balls. While South Africa managed to hold their nerve and won the match, Malinga's fiery spell undoubtedly won hearts across the globe. Fastest Double Hundred © Reuters West Indies opener Chris Gayle hit the fastest double century in World Cup history in their victory over Zimbabwe in 2015. Gayle went on to hit a total of 16 sixes in 147 balls before he was out for 215 off the last delivery of his side's innings. The stand of 372 with Marlon Samuels was also a record partnership for any ODI wicket. West Indies amassed 372-2 from their 50 overs, and went on to beat Zimbabwe by 73 runs (D/L). Highest Team Score © Reuters At the 2015 Cricket World Cup, Australia produced a stunning performance to thrash Afghanistan in a record-breaking game. Glenn Maxwell smashed 88 from 45 balls to propel Australia to 417/6 - the highest team score at a World Cup. Other records tumbled, as Australia then went on to bowl Afghanistan out for just 142 in reply. The margin of victory was 275 runs – the highest ever recorded at a World Cup. Highest Successful Run-Chase © Reuters Another classic World Cup encounter came to the fore when England locked horns with minnows Ireland at the 2011 World Cup. Kevin O'Brien hit the fastest century in Cricket World Cup history as Ireland pulled off an astonishing victory over England in Bangalore. His 113 off 63 balls helped Ireland recover from 111-5 to overhaul the target of 328 runs with five balls to spare, making this the highest successful run-chase ever at a World Cup. Most Title Wins © Reuters Last, but surely not the least. Australia doesn't have a challenger when it comes to their rich history at the World Cup. In the 11 World Cups held so far, they have won the tournament on 5 occasions – including three consecutive wins between 1999-2007. They also hold the World Cup record for most match wins (62) and the highest win percentage of 75 per cent. Despite the recent controversy surrounding the reigning champions, they will go into this year's tournament with confidence in the knowledge that history is on their side.
  17. Spoiler ahead. “You are my queen”. You can literally make a 'Game of Thrones' drinking game based on this one line because that was basically the extent of Jon Snow's dialogues this season. Jon Snow was always one of my favourite characters throughout all the seasons, and not just because he's 'pretty', but seeing him reduced to basically a 'yes, ma'am' person towards the end was disappointing to watch, to say the least. After thinking of himself as a bastard child, he found out he was the rightful heir to the iron throne and the one true king. He literally died and came back to life. But, it seemed like everything was for nothing. He has always proved how honourable he is, he's always looked out for everyone, he literally killed the person he loved because people would be better off without her. His duty became the death of his love. And, even after so much, he doesn't become the king? I know he doesn't want, he never wanted that but he was born for it and everyone whon knew about his true identity knew that and wanted him to come to power. What was the point of so much build-up regarding his identity - which even got Varys killed - when it was all forgotten immediately. Ever since Tyrion found out about Jon being a Targaryen, he wanted him to be King and own the Iron Throne and not Daenerys. But, what happened towards the end when Tyrion suggested Bran as the new king? Did he just forget that Jon exists or what? It honestly didn't make sense. I want to know why his true identity was hyped up so much for it to not even come up in the end. Only a handful people knew he was a Targaryen before he killed Dany and then the secret was just kept with the same people? No one thought of actually calling upon the true heir to take up his rightful place? Not even Sam? Then, there was the whole season cliffhanger with his death, and then him coming back to life because of the Lord of Light. We kind of saw why Beric came back to life, to save Arya so she could kill the Night King. But, what was Jon's purpose of coming back? It couldn't be to kill Dany since she probably wouldn't have become 'Mad Queen' if she never even knew who Jon was because him having a better claim to the throne than her was one of the major factors that led her to burn down King's Landing. So, his resurrection was for nothing? I can think of a couple of alternating endings for him. He could've become king after killing Dany and then just became ruthless and started killing people like her in a few years. Becoming what he once saved everyone from. It would've been such a twisted ending, but trust me, it would've been better, to be honest. Or, Drogon could've tried to kill him instead of burning down the iron throne and he could've come out of the fire unburnt since he is a Targaryen as well. Or something interesting other than just him going back to where he started - the Night's Watch, which technically shouldn't exist since the Night King is dead. It was a proper full circle for his character but I wish the writers had broken the wheel. The entire ending was a letdown after a ten-year and eight-season build-up and Jon's ending was the most disappointing for me since he deserved so much more. #JusticeForJon
  18. The penultimate episode of 'Game of Thrones' is usually where all the drama lies. This is a set pattern and considering the minimal loss of life in the league of the major characters, we expected major bloodshed, and “The Bells” promised just that. Not that we didn't get bloodshed that we were promised, but it was rather disappointing. In case, you need a round-up of all the people who lost their lives, here's a list of the characters who are now dead and how they met their final ends. 1. Varys © HBO Varys died saying "I hope I'm wrong" to Tyrion referring to Dany losing it in the end. He was burnt alive by Dany's last standing dragon, Drogon in the presence of everyone. It was sad that in the end, it was Tyrion who outed him. 2. Harry Strickland, The Commander Of The Golden Company © HBO The Golden Company may have been a force to be reckoned with, but in front of Dragonfire, they couldn't stand a chance, could they? Harry survived the fire but was later brutally stabbed by Greyworm who was clearly avenging his girlfriend, Missandei's death by the looks of his expressions. 3. Euron Greyjoy © HBO Euron lived in a world of his own. He could've fled the scene but died of his own mistake that was provoking Jaime Lannister and then dying believing that he actually killed him. Tch tch tch, nearing death does make people delusional. 4. Qyburn © HBO Poor guy. Killed by his own creation in the end. The Mountain squeezed his neck in a snap without thinking twice. When has playing God worked out well for anyone? 5. Sandor & Gregor Clegane © HBO The much-awaited Clegaine bowl finally took place. But, oh well, it did not pan out well for either of the parties. While The Mountain was a lost cause, we do miss Ser Gregor. 6. Jaime and Cersei Lannister © HBO We expected a much, much more gruesome death for Cersei for all the cruelness she's inflicted on our favourite characters over the years. But they did want to romanticise their sibling-lovers-relationship in the end. Sigh.
  19. The next generation of consoles is a hot topic right now in the gaming world even though no concrete release date has been confirmed yet. Having said that, Sony and Microsoft both have hinted what the next generation consoles will be all about. Mark Cerny, PlayStation's lead architect has already confirmed a few specifications and Xbox architect said that the Xbox Two (or whatever they decide to call it) will be even more powerful. The two consoles are already at battle with each other and we size up each of the consoles to find out who will rule the next generation of gaming: Graphics Fidelity © AMD As of now, we sort of know that the PlayStation 5 will have a GPU based on Ryzen's Navi architecture. It has now been confirmed that the PS5 will also support some form of ray-tracing. It will also support 8K graphics but not much is known how this will be achieved. This is purely based on reliable leaks and AMD has also hinted about it at its press events. On the other hand, the Xbox Two's GPU specification is completely unknown as nothing major has leaked as of now. However, some leaks say that the next Xbox will come in two variants, one being as powerful or more powerful than the PS5 and a cheaper model that will focus more on game streaming. Both Sony and Microsoft are aiming higher than the 10.7 TFLOPS benchmark which is higher than anything we've seen on a console before. The performance will reportedly compete with Google's Stadia streaming service as the company has promised the same performance for its service. Storage © YouTube Read and Write speeds are essential to cut download times in games and Sony has already confirmed that the company will be using an SSD that is considerably faster than what is available today. It is said to be faster than the current PC SSDs and will essentially result in faster load times when compared to the PS4/PS4 Pro. Microsoft has not detailed any specifications about the next generation but we can expect a similar SSD configuration for the next Xbox. Whether it will be faster than PS5 still remains to be seen. Backward Compatibility © Microsoft The Xbox One already supports backward compatibility on some games and it is likely that Microsoft will double-down on this policy. We can expect the next Xbox to support Xbox One games along with many Xbox 360 games. Mark Cerny has sort of confirmed that Sony's next console will be backwards compatible, unlike the PS4. It will also be compatible with PS4 VR games and the headset. Game Streaming Microsoft has already shown off Project xCloud, which is the company's new game streaming service that works on Android, PC and PCs. This will enable users to play games on any device they like and works somewhat similar to Google's Stadia service. Sony already has a game streaming service called “PlayStation Now” that doesn't really work as advertised. The service is currently not up to the mark and is unlikely to be able to match Microsoft's cloud computing prowess. Exclusive Games © Sony PlayStation The ultimate question that every console gamer is concerned about is the exclusive game library on each console. Currently, PlayStation's exclusive game library is far larger than what Microsoft has to offer and we can assume that future games like “The Last of Us: Part II”, “Ghost of Tsushima”, and “Death Stranding” will all be launch titles for the PlayStation 5 in addition to their complimentary launches for the PlayStation 4. Microsoft did announce acquisitions of new studios and we can expect the company to announce a few new games at E3 this year. As of now, we only know about “Halo Infinite” and it seems like 343 Industries is still in the early stages of development for the game. Who Will Rule The Next Generation? © BCCL To be honest, it is hard to pick a winner with very less information available right now. While both consoles have a robust community, Sony has an upper hand with exclusive titles. Having said that, if the future of gaming is streaming, we can expect Microsoft to give a better experience than Sony and could play a factor in its success. Both consoles seem to be very similar when it comes to technical specifications but we can only be sure once both companies officially unveil the two consoles.
  20. The third last episode of 'Game of Thrones' aired last Monday and we're pretty disappointed. With Rotten Tomatoes rating it as the second worst episode ever, it's certain we're not the only ones who thought it could have been written better. For one, there were too many loose ends from the last episode which confused us all the way to Seven Heaven's and back. But apart from that, this recent episode was so disjointed, it seemed like the writers got too lazy to even cover up the gaps, which made us go what the F? (c)HBO Maybe the makers are low on budget or have given up on this show overall, but whatever it is, they're really not serving the fans or making George RR Martin very happy with the end. We just hope the last two episodes of the show are a saving grace and we get to salvage whatever little hope we lost. (c)HBO But while watching this episode, several questions arose out of plain curiosity and they're not the kinda questions which will be answered later on. We pray they are, but these questions are inherent callous flaws in the plot and writing, and we're trying to stitch them up as much as we can to make the story a little more malleable. Here are 10 unanswered questions from season 8, episode 4 of 'Game of Thrones': 1. What Does Dany Even Whisper To Jorah At The Funeral Pyre? Well, most definitely not Dracarys! But this one we can let go because what she whispered to him was definitive of Jorah and Dany's personal equation off-set. In real life, Emilia Clarke (Dany) and Iain Glen (Jorah) are very good friends and since Emilia has spent a considerable amount of screen time with Iain, it was sad for them to shoot their last scene together. So, in order to say the perfect goodbye, Emilia made up her own lines for Iain and whispered them into his ear. No one, I believe, even those who were on the sets were privy to what she said and it's only between the two of them. (c)HBO Iain told a popular international entertainment recently, in an interview that the lines she said to him were "something entirely sincere and true to the moment and something that I'll never forget... it's something no one will ever know but the two of us. And that's a memory to hold onto.” So, in case you're wondering why we weren't privy to what she said to Jorah, it's because they wanted to keep it a secret! 2. Where The Hell Will Gendry Go? After Dany makes Gendry the Lord of Storm's End because he's a Baratheon bastard and a good strategical alliance for her, he asks Arya to be his wife, AKA the Lady of Storm's End. But Arya turns him down saying she isn't a lady and that's the last we see of Gendry. So, the most open-ended question right now is where the f**k is Gendry! We didn't see him with his bag, baggage and hammer head out anywhere. We believe he's not going to miss the opportunity to be a Lord and might have already left for Storm's End, putting his character arc to an end. We just hope he doesn't die, while putting his house in order. He's the only Baratheon left after all. (c)HBO 3. Who Is The New Prince Of Dorne? It was strange Varys made an offhand comment, during the war council meeting, while discussing what allies Dany has for the last war, mentioning "The new Prince of Dorne pledges his allegiance". Now, who the hell is the new prince of Dorne? Last we remember, in season 6 Ellaria Sand killed Doran Martell and her daughters killed his son Trystane, to take over Dorne. In Season 7, Cersei kills Ellaria and her daughter making us believe Dorne has no ruler at all. So, now that Varys has mentioned that the southernmost island has a new prince, we wonder who it is. (c)HBO The new prince, we assume, could be Quentyn Martell, the older brother of Trystane. Although Quentyn hasn't appeared in the series, he's a main character in RR Martin's 'A Dance With Dragons', where he went to Meeren to marry Dany, before he was killed by dragon fire. Although 'Game of Thrones' is not following Martin's novels, as some characters alive on the show are dead in the book already and vice-versa, we can't think of anyone other than Quentyn as the prince of Dorne and I hope they reveal his identity sooner than later. Hopefully, they should in the next episode. 4. Why Didn't Jon Say Bye To Ghost? This wasn't cool at all. Jon didn't say bye to his most loyal, faithful companion and that's killing us slowly and steadily inside. It was a heartbreaking scene when Jon requests Tormund to take Ghost with him and the rest of the Wildlings far North and keep him with them. We're not sure why Ghost couldn't come to King's Landing and help Jon out. Maybe the climatic conditions are not suitable for dire wolves far South? (c)HBO But even so, Jon left without even petting him or saying bye to him and Ghost seemed rather upset about it. And why shouldn't he be? He's been by Jon's side every fight, even when Jon died in between, he sat next to his body, protecting it. We assume either Jon was too heartbroken himself to bid his friend goodbye or because Jon's a half-Stark now, he feels guilty petting his wolf and keeping him with him, since he's also a Targaryen, and they pet dragons, not wolves? The Starks were widely criticised earlier for poor pet ownership throughout the series and after this, we're not too happy how things ended with all the dire wolves in the show. 5. What Are Arya And The Hound Planning? When The Hound and Arya are seen leaving Winterfell together, they both unanimously decide to not come back ever. They're both heading towards King's Landing and through their cryptic conversation, we figure they have a common goal for sure, and we reckon it's to kill The Mountain aka Ser Gregor Clegane, aka The Hound's brother. Since he's on Arya's 'list' and he's The Hound's number one enemy, it'll be a two vs. one battle, where The Hound may sacrifice himself to save Arya's life and she will ultimately kill The Mountain. This is a presumable theory, let's see what really happens. (c)HBO 6. Why Did Rhaegal Die So Easily? Well, because Dany was stupid enough to fly her injured dragon into battle where the dragon couldn't predict or prevent himself from being hurt by the scorpion bolts released by Euron's troops. If you see, Rhaegal's wings are still damaged and he can barely pick flight like Drogon. So, in all probability, he was weak enough to pre-empt the attack on him. It was one of the saddest scenes in the series, that's for sure. (c)HBO 7. Why Didn't Dany See Euron's Fleet While Flying? We're not sure how Daenerys missed Euron's fleet flying above the waters around Dragonstone. It would have been the best and the most practical vantage point for her to attack the fleet with dragon fire, preventing Euron from destroying her fleet in return and Missandei's capture. Makes us think either she did this purposely and we're not sure why or she genuinely missed them and couldn't see them because of cloud cover. Sounds improbable though but the writers should have given us a better explanation. (c)HBO 8. Which Advisor Will Betray Dany? Yes, it's a given one of Dany's advisors', either Tyrion or Varys will betray Dany and she will have him executed. Confessing his feelings privately to Tyrion, it's clear Varys doesn't trust Dany to rule the Seven Kingdoms at all and he seems poised to betray her. Varys has always been in support of the realm and its people rather than serving a particular king or queen and that's why you see him change loyalties throughout the show. Now, he doesn't trust Dany to be a befitting queen and assumes she will turn out to be the 'Mad Queen' after all, just like her father. Instead, he is instant on Jon pressing his claim for the throne and wants to see him rule the realm rather than Dany. Will Dany get a whiff of his intentions and have him executed for doubting her ability to rule? (c)HBO 9. Why The F*c* Did Jaime Leave Brienne? Jaime turned out to be your quintessential fuckboi after all. Maybe not a fuckboi but he definitely isn't over his sister or is pretty mad at her and he left Brienne in the middle of the night to go save Cersei's life or maybe kill her instead. Aww, how sweet. But that's a terrible thing to do to Brienne, don't you think? Jaime has only been with one woman all his life and finally, after leaving her for betraying him, he realises he's still in love with her and rides South to go fight her war? Or kill her maybe? who knows! (c)HBO 10. Why Was There A Starbucks Coffee Cup In One Of The Scenes? Well, it's not like 'GoT' uses product placement in their episodes ever, so clearly, this was a sheer mistake and HBO admitted to it too. The episode before this was too dark to see and this episode had a visible coffee cup! Clearly, the writers aren't inspired anymore or are being callous with production and execution to even give a damn about how the episode churns out. We sure hope it's not the latter and these guys make up for their silly mistakes in the next two episodes. For now, the show's been pretty 'dark' and full of errors'! (c)MensXP/HBO There are other unanswered questions like Sansa revealing Jon's secret to Tyrion deliberately or Missandei's demise and why she utters the word 'Dracarys' but I guess we will only know the answers to those in the next couple of episodes. For now, let's hope the fifth episode picks off well and all these unanswered questions are finally answered!
  21. The Realme X is now confirmed to launch in China on May 15th, according to the company's Weibo account. OPPO's spin-off brand is also rumoured to launch a smartphone that will compete with Xiaomi's POCO F1 and will have specifications similar to the OnePlus 7. It's rumoured to be called the Realme X Pro and the company is expected to launch two smartphones i.e. the Realme X Pro, Realme X, and Realme X Youth Edition, which is essentially India's Realme 3 Pro. © Weibo/Realme In terms of specifications, the Realme X Pro is said to be powered by Qualcomm's latest chipset i.e. Snapdragon 855. It would be the company's first smartphone with the said chipset and is likely to compete with the Poco F1 and even the OnePlus 7. In terms of cameras, the Realme X Pro and probably Realme X are both said to have pop-up selfie cameras which were leaked earlier in a Weibo post. At the back, the Realme X is said to have a dual-camera setup and currently the Realme X Pro's camera specification is not known but could be similar. According to early render leaks, the Realme X and Realme X Pro both don't have a fingerprint sensor so we can assume it may be embedded underneath the front display. © Weibo The Realme X, on the other hand, comes with Qualcomm's brand new Snapdragon 730 chipset which was last month. The new chipset is said to improve the gaming experience, photography, and artificial intelligence (AI). Realme is expected to pair the mobile platform on its upcoming offering with three configurations: 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. © MensXP The Realme X is rumoured to have a 3,680 mAh battery and will have support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. VOOC 3.0 is said to have an output of 20W of power and will work similarly to OnePlus' Warp charge. Battery specifications for the Realme X Pro are not known yet however it would be similar to the Realme X. © TENAA In terms of display, apart from the in-display sensor, the Realme X is expected to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel and will have a full-HD+ resolution. Both smartphones are expected to be announced at the launch event on May 15th in China and reports suggest that the Realme X Pro variant will be available to buy at a later date and will just be a simple announcement. The Realme X is expected to launch in China for RMB 1,599 (Rs 16,476) and RMB 1,999 (Rs 20,000) for the high-storage variant. Whether these smartphones will be launched in India remains to be seen and it would be interesting to see how the company would price the smartphone.

  23. Nearly 50 games into the tournament, the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is already proving to be a big success. For one of the biggest T20 leagues in the world, the ongoing season did suffer a minor hiccup with the general elections raising security concerns. But, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the IPL Governing Council have done well to segregate the tournament in phases to avoid problems. Keeping that in mind and of course the dew factor, the Indian cricket board has announced the revised timings for this season's Playoffs and the all-important final. Like last year, the BCCI has now decided to advance the 8:00 pm (IST) start to 7:00 pm (IST) for the knockout stages of this year's edition. 24. OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of its next smartphone and in all likelihood, it will be called the OnePlus 7. There's a good chance that the company will launch multiple devices; one rumoured being the OnePlus 7 Pro. The new smartphones will be unveiled on 14th May in three different countries at the same time — including India. © Weibo The events are going to be held in three cities i.e. New York, London and Bangalore and will start at 8:15 PM IST. OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7 Pro has leaked in the past and here's what we know so far. © Twitter Just a few days ago Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus said that the next smartphone will have a huge focus on the the display of the device. This probably means that the OnePlus 7 or the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a high quality screen on their devices. According to rumours, the OnePlus 7 Pro is going to have a QHD+ 90 Hz AMOLED display and will be as expensive as flagship devices. Pete Lau spoke to our sister website, the Economic Times and said: “To provide consumers more choice and meet the needs of a broader audience, we've changed our launch strategy, but our commitment to premium products and experiences remains the same.” In terms of other specifications, the OnePlus 7 will have a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 6 as it will ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and will be paired with 8 to 10 GB of RAM. © Twitter The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to have 12GB of RAM which may be a bit of an overkill. There's also a good chance that the Pro variant will have a pop-up selfie camera and a full-view display as the company decides to ditch the notch design from the OnePlus 6T.
  25. With the 2019 season of the Indian Premier League in its second leg, Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians are visiting Delhi to play their second match against Shreyas Iyer and his Delhi Capitals today. A day ahead of their matchup, Capitals batsman Prithvi Shaw got to share what is probably one of the most memorable moments of his young life when he got to sit across the table from the all-time great, Sachin Tendulkar, for dinner at MI's hotel. Living the dream of millions of fans of Tendulkar's, Shaw uploaded an unforgettable photo of the duo sharing a meal last night on social media. Thank you SACHIN SIR for the lovely dinner ♥ï¸ It's always a pleasure meeting you SIR ð @sachin_rt Sir pic.twitter.com/VLuR9Bee1O — Prithvi Shaw (@PrithviShaw) April 17, 2019 “Thank you SACHIN SIR for the lovely dinner. It's always a pleasure meeting you SIR”, a true Tendulkar fan in Shaw wrote in the caption. The 19-year-old cricketer is considered by many to become the next Sachin Tendulkar based on his natural batting style and the level of skill he has reached at such an early age. The two athletes have shared quite the relationship in the past decade. At nine years of age, Shaw was able to impress the little master with his form and technique. Last year, Tendulkar recreated the moment he met Shaw for the very first time. “I asked him not to change his grip or stance, irrespective of any future instructions from his coaches. If anyone asks you to do so, tell them to come talk to me. Coaching is good, but overcooking a player with tweaks is not," Tendulkar said on his app '100MB'. "It is so important not to change anything when you see such a special player. It is God's gift to have a complete package," Tendulkar added. However, the wonderfully comical place that the internet is, they seemed to be a lot more interested in what the two ate at the dinner than anything else: Kya Kya khaya Bhai @PrithviShaw — Suraj Yadav (@Suraj4Yadav) April 18, 2019 ð¤¤ð¤¤ð¤¤ð² — Sanket D (@sanketdhende) April 18, 2019 Sambar idly , Dosa Chutney , Vadapav , Poori , Pongal Vada, Uthapam , Tea , Coffee , Vadacurry , Sevai , Upma , Noodles Which one is your Favorite ? — Mahadevan (@Mahadev77720195) April 17, 2019
