  1. The National Basketball Association (NBA) have a norm of starting out every game with the national anthem of the United States of America (the Canadian national anthem is also sung when a game takes place in Toronto). As a member of an American basketball franchise, every teammate must stand in the line as the anthem plays in the background, even if you are not an American. You aren't forced to sing the anthem along, you aren't forced to stand still, you aren't forced to not look anywhere you want. This makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the way the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) is trying to shove Chinese patriotism down the throats of those who do not even belong to that country. Recently, a former NBA player and one of the top French athletes to make it to the top of the game, Guerschon Yabusele, was fined by the CBA for not looking at the Chinese flag during the national anthem ahead of the game. View this post on Instagram Crazy game last night #BuzzerBeater #2020 ð A post shared by Yabusele 𧸠(@guerschony) on Dec 7, 2019 at 5:52am PST The Nanjing Tongxi Monkey King Power Forward has been given a “serious warning” and fined 10,000-yuan (Rs. 1 Lakh approx) for what they felt was a disrespect to their national pride. It wasn't even as if Yabusele was challenging the Chinese sovereignty or protesting the norm. Television footage shows that the athlete was standing in line with the rest of his teammates and it was just that he had kept his head down, which by the way, all NBA players (American or not) do all the time. A game is about to start, players have tons of things going on inside their brain. Even if they knew that they weren't supposed to hang their head, it is okay to forget about it sometimes. This act of enforcing patriotism by making foreigners “respect” your nationality is simply shameful. And while Yabusele has made no comments about the whole situation, it is rather disappointing to see the French government not stepping up and dealing with the injustice that they saw happening to one of their own. 2. If you have ever wanted to get a bargain from Delhi's infamous Gaffar market, you could have been buying counterfeit products. In fact, Xiaomi has disclosed due to its anti-counterfeit measures, a complaint was filed with the local police and raids were conducted in the Karol Bagh market. In the raid, the police and Xiaomi representative retrieved fake or counterfeit products with Xiaomi's branding at multiple stores in the market. © Xiaomi Over 2000 products were seized from shop owners and were arrested for allegedly selling counterfeit Xiaomi products. Amongst the counterfeit products, it was found that products like Mi Powerbanks, Mi Neckbands, Mi Travel Adaptor with Cable, Mi Earphone Basic with Mic, Mi Wireless Headsets, Redmi Air Dots, Mi 2-in-1 USB Cable and others were being sold at a number of stores. © Xiaomi According to Xiaomi, “The police found out upon interrogation that the four suppliers have been managing this business for years now. These counterfeit products were allegedly sold in retail and wholesale to the customers from their retail shops: Galaxy Mobile Accessories, BCM Plaza, Shop No. 14 - Sega Market, Shop No. 2 - Lotus Plaza.” © Xiaomi The counterfeit industry is estimated to be valued at $650 billion annually according to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and is not limited to technology products. In most cases, consumers can identify a fake product by looking at the packaging, quality of build materials, branding and logo details. Some products now come with a barcode or a serial number that can be double-checked from the company's official website. “Illicit suppliers and retailers attempt to seize the opportunity to cheat consumers and introduce fake products in the market. It is strictly advised to all customers to purchase authorized products from authorised stores of the brand and partner outlets and also to be cautious and aware of purchase decisions.” Xiaomi said. 3. The smartphone market has seen significant growth not just in India, but across the globe. More are buying smartphones than ever, making it one of the fastest moving commodities. That being said, there's a good chunk of the population that prefers using a good old feature phone. I personally prefer using a dumb feature phone instead of a smartphone to stay away from all the buzzing notifications. However, there are things which you simply can't do on a feature phone. Making payments, for instance, is a huge pain. Although that could change very soon as NCPI has now partnered with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundations to help create an app for the same. Exciting opportunity for #innovators worldwide to build payment solutions for feature phone users in India! Congrats to @CIIEIndia, @NPCI_NPCI & @gatesfoundation for launching the Grand Challenge. More details here - https://t.co/L52lNwLTvb — Nandan Nilekani (@NandanNilekani) November 22, 2019 NCPI (National Payments Corporation of India), for those of you who don't know, are the same people who brought us BHIM, which is a UPI-based payment. And they've collaborated with CIIE.Co and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to give away a huge reward to folks who make a working payments app for feature phones. They've essentially come together to announce a competition, in which they're calling out developers to provide innovative solutions to make this happen. The winner of the competition will walk away with $100,000, which roughly translates to about Rs 70 lakh. That's indeed a lot of money for making an app. That and think about the exposure which you will gain from this particular gig. Vishal Anand Kanvaty, Chief of Innovation at NPCI noted that a significant chunk of population in India still relies on feature phones. And he thinks a solution is necessary to move India into a cashless economy. “Feature phones hold a significant share of the mobile user base in rural and semi-urban populations to anchor India's move to a cashless economy rapidly. With the help of the government and the payments ecosystem, it is crucial that we should focus on providing smart and simple payment solutions to feature phone users," he said. © Reuters Obviously coming up with a proper solution isn't going to be an easy job, but that's exactly what the competition is all about. Winners will also get support from CIIE.Co Bharat Inclusion Initiative, that provides support to sustain startups in the country. If you think you have it takes to come up with a solution or if you think you somebody who can then let then ask them to do the needful by clicking right here. View the full article
  4. In a historic verdict, the Supreme Court announced on November 9 that the disputed land in Ayodhya will be used for the construction of a Ram temple. They further announced that a five-acre land in the area will be given to the Muslim community for the construction of a mosque. In fact, everyone around the world was talking about it because #AyodhyaVerdict was a top trend not just in India but across the world. Not just Ayodhya Verdict, but the hashtag #HinduMuslimBhaiBhai was also trending on Twitter with people sharing messages of peace, love and communal and religious harmony. © Twitter In a moving gesture, now 21 organisations representing indigenous Assamese Muslims have decided that they will donate Rs 5 lakh to the trust that is responsible for the construction of Ram Mandir. According to the Times Of India, the organisations under JSPA (Jonogusthiya Somonnoy Parishad Asom) said that this 'decision is an expression of solidarity of the indigenous Muslims with the country's unity and the "cherished aspiration" of the Hindus to see the temple constructed in Ayodhya'. JSPA chairman Syed Muminul Aowal, said "We are happy that the protracted dispute has been resolved through historic judgement of the Supreme Court. We will donate Rs 5 lakh because we also want to be part of this historic decision that will further strengthen the spirit of unity and harmony in the country." © Reuters In fact, a Muslim students' body from Assam will donate Rs 1 lakh for the consrtuction of the temple at Ayodhya. Reportedly, this announcement was made by the All Assam Goriya Moriya Yuva Chatra Parishad, who said in a statement, "We welcome the Supreme Court's historic verdict. We urge everyone to accept the verdict and maintain peace and harmony. Our organization will provide Rs 1 lakh for the construction of the Ram Temple." View the full article

  6. Ranveer Singh has made one thing pretty clear for his fans that fashion and his sartorial choices walk hand in hand. Known for his quirky style, he never fails to strike a chord with his followers. From sporting baggy pants for a wrap-up party to attending meetings in long sneakers, he pulls off outlandish outfits with absolute panache. We have to give it to his stylist, Nitasha Gaurav who amuses us with her unique styling ideas. Truly, his fearless fashion choices turn heads, no matter where he goes. © Instagram/Ranveer Singh We all know that Ranveer's personality is quite energetic and yet again he proved the same when he was spotted at the airport making a statement in a tracksuit and chunky sneakers. His maximalist lewk is extremely lavish for the airport and here's why we say that: Exhibit A: © Viral Bhayani The Gully Boy actor who loves luxury brands was seen wearing Gucci Logo Print Chenille Track Pants. The pants have striped outseam and cuff with elastic waistband. Furthermore, the style is quite relaxed as it's designed in pure cotton fabric. These joggers are equal parts of comfort and style which make it one of the best sartorial choices for the airports. © Gucci Since these track pants are by Gucci, there's no doubt that the price tag will have a six digit number on it. They are available for Rs.1,12,767. Yes, let that sink in! As for his outfit, Ranveer chose to elevate his airport game by wearing a co-ord set and white chunky sneakers. © Viral Bhayani Truly, Ranveer, this lavish tracksuit is a great move! 8. What do you do if you're an actor, have the entire world at your feet and are having the golden run anyone has seen in over a decade? Well, apart from giving some really memorable films, and making one resounding style statement after the other, you indulge in some of the finer pleasures that life has to offer. Well, that's exactly what Ayushmann Khurrana has been doing this year. © Instagram/ayushmannk The man has been dropping one style statement(https://www.mensxp.com/fashion/celebrity-style/57981-ayushmann-khurrana-makes-a-statement-with-breezy-airport-look.html) after the other at award ceremonies, film promotions, and even airports. © Instagram/ayushmannk Just recently, he was seen in one of the hippest camouflage athleisure outfits that we have seen this year. However, one of his accessories simply walked away with the proverbial cake, for it is, quite simply, one of the most insane backpacks that we have seen this year. © Viral Bhayani But first, let's get to his outfit first. Ayushmann is wearing a rather cool sweatshirt from Adidas. The sweatshirt in question is the R.Y.V. Camouflage Crewneck Sweatshirt and it retails for just under $80 or Rs 5500. © Adidas The track pants are also from the same line and are called the R.Y.V. Camouflage Track Pants, and they retail for about $90 or Rs 6500. Although the track pants and the sweatshirt are sold separately, they do make for one hell of a co-ord set. The set has been paired with a rather dope looking pair of sneakers, from Adidas' Originals lineup. © Adidas But what really stole the show for us, is the leather backpack from Gucci that Ayushmann's carrying with panache. The Signature Leather Backpack is made completely from leather and has the classic GG, Gucci logo engraved all over itself. © Gucci What makes the bag so exquisite (and therefore so expensive) is the fact that it's made in Italy, and the inner lining has a very fine, suede-like fibre that keeps whatever you store in the bag, scuff and scratch-free. © Gucci The price for all this goodness? Well, the bag retails for $1,890 or Rs 1.31 lakh. © Viral Bhayani All we'll say is that be ready to pay some hefty taxes and duties if you are planning on buying this anytime soon, considering the exorbitant taxes one has to pay when importing luxury items such as these. 9. Do you have a “kind and friendly” face? If yes, you have a chance of getting instantly famous and earning around Rs 92 lakh. Wait, don't get all excited yet! It can happen only if you are cool about being the face of a new “humanoid robot”. Imagine your friend calling and telling you that she saw you in London while you were sitting here in New Delhi, drinking bad filter coffee in the office. Well, according to news reports, a British engineering and manufacturing firm known as Geomiq will make you richer only if you are interested in becoming the face of thousands of mass-produced "state-of-the-art humanoid” that is currently working along with an unnamed company. © Reuters In a blog post about the project, Geomiq say, "This will entail the selected person's face being reproduced on potentially thousands of versions of the robots worldwide." The manufacturers have been working on the design from the past five years and the robots will be a companion for senior citizens. Isn't that brilliant? The news reports suggest that the unnamed company, behind the manufacturing of robots, has been privately funded by many independent VCs and a leading fund based out of Shanghai. © Reuters According to the blog post shared by Geomiq, the robot will act as a virtual friend for elderly people. Their manufacturing, suggested the blog, will begin from next year. Besides, they are currently making therapy robots for senior citizens and army veterans to make them feel less lonely. While you're getting all excited about the offer, what if there is a breach of confidentiality and the data is taken by *** robot makers? We see uncountable data thefts daily, and this isn't something that sounds impossible.
  10. 22-year-old Kinsey Wolanski took the footballing world by storm as she invaded the pitch during this year's Champions League final. The American model stormed the pitch in a black swimsuit that sported the name of the adult website run by her boyfriend and YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy. She was immediately arrested by authorities in Madrid after her antics, before being released later. It has now come to light that as further punishment, she has been fined €15,000. According to reports, she has been handed a €5,000 (almost â¹4 Lakh) fine for storming onto the pitch and an additional €10,000 (almost â¹8 Lakh) fine for illegally trying to advertise her boyfriend's website. $3.97 million: Value, in equivalent advertising time as of 5:30pm ET, garnered by Vitaly Uncensored, an adult site featured on the clothing of streaking model Kinsey Wolanski, according to @ApexMGAnalytics. Wolansky is girlfriend of YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who owns the site pic.twitter.com/R3obTmdKYU — Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) June 1, 2019 However, the fine is a small sum to pay as the website has reportedly garnered â¹27 Crores in publicity through the fiasco and apparently, membership on the website has grown to 32 million members. Meanwhile, Wolanski's social media handles blew up predictably, before being taken down. In a rather uneventful game, in which a Mohamed Salah penalty in the 2nd minute and a surprise goal from Divock Origi was enough for Liverpool to clinch their 6th European Trophy, Wolanski's antics were the biggest talking point. © Reuters After the story broke, reports have come out saying that the cost of legally advertising a brand during the UCL final is close to $4 million (â¹27 Crore), ie, a little more than the revenue generated by the website through the stunt. Surely a fine of in and around â¹12 Lakh for â¹27 Crores worth of publicity is a small price to pay...
  11. No matter how bizarre a hack is, as long as it works it's absolutely fine. At least that's what I have learned from people around me. And we Indians seem to have acquired the special talent of being a pro at 'jugaad'. Think of the most unimaginable hack possible and chances are that an Indian would have tried and tested that hack to his benefit already. Just like this hack of using cow dung to keep a car cool in the scorching heat. And when I say use it, I mean changing the car's colour to brown. FYI, the car in question is a Toyota Corolla Altis, the road price of which starts from Rs 16 lakh (approx) © Facebook In what can be rightly called the 'coolest' hack ever, a woman in Ahmedabad coated her entire car with cow dung, as the temperature shot up to 45 degrees. Thanks to Facebook user Rupesh Gauranga Das for sharing the pictures with us, and enlightening us with this ingenious hack. According to his post, the car owner is from Ahmedabad, but the car's number plate states that the car is from Maharashtra. South Bombay to be specific. Das wrote in his post, "Best use of cow dung I have ever seen. It's in Amdavad. To counter 45 degrees heat temperatures and protect car from getting hot, Mrs Sejal shah has plastered her car with cow dung. Getting cool." For those wondering how effective the trick is, cow dung is actually a kind of insulator that blocks the heat of the outer surface from getting into the inner surface. That's the reason a lot of people in rural areas coat the outer walls of their houses with cow dung, to keep their house cool. And here we thought parking our car under the shade of a tree will do the job.
  12. Arguably one of the greatest English footballers of all time, Frank Lampard enthralled fans with his long-range screamers on the field and, a calm and composed demeanour off it. With 29 goals for England and a record 211 goals for Chelsea (in all competitions), Lampard was undoubtedly the best midfielder of his generation. Cherished by fans and respected by opponents, Lampard bid a teary adieu to his professional footballing career in 2017. But, the Chelsea legend couldn't stay away from the sport as he returned to football, this time in the managerial role, when he joined Championship club Derby County as their manager in 2018. And, for a man who thrived in the role of a midfielder, Lampard seems to be carving his own niche in the managerial role with the same vigour that once saw him capture the imagination of fans as a footballer. The 40-year-old has been having the time of his life with Derby County. And, more recently, he enjoyed his best night as a football manager on 16th May. © Reuters Building on, what is turning out to be a terrific season for them, Lampard guided Derby County to the Championship playoff semifinals after finishing sixth in the league. After losing the first leg 1-0 at Pride Park, Lampard helped Derby in staging a spectacular comeback in the second leg as they hammered Leeds United 4-2 to ensure they are now just a win away from joining the big boys in the coveted Premier League next season. ð¤©#FridayFeeling pic.twitter.com/n74XgRafGa — Derby County (@dcfcofficial) May 17, 2019 Incredible scenes as the Derby players sing “Stop Crying Frank Lampard” in the changing room ð ð¥ @dcfcofficial pic.twitter.com/0kmOIuULh9 — ODDSbible (@ODDSbible) May 15, 2019 The thrilling comeback win understandably called for celebrations which, as expected, went long into the night. Derby County players and staff celebrated their triumph at the King's Head in Duffield. The pub also shared a video of them celebrating their playoff victory. And, if that wasn't enough, the fact that Lampard and his boys wracked up a 2,800-pound (over Rs 2.50 lakh) bill in their post-match celebrations, shows what victory really meant to this bunch. ð» - 209 beers ð¥ - 75 Jaegermeisters ð¸ - 64 shots of Vodka ....and 1 diet coke! 𥤠@dcfcofficials's Frank Lampard took his players out after their play-off semi-final win over @LUFC and it looks like they certainly enjoyed themselves...ð pic.twitter.com/aujxl99JUn — Sky Sports Football (@SkyFootball) May 17, 2019 But, it was Lampard, once again, who ran away with all the praise - this time for being the responsible manager. It has been learned that Lampard took care of the hefty bill that was accumulated through 209 beers, 75 jagers, 54 sambuca shots and 38 tequila shots. Well, if that's how the Derby is going to celebrate in the Championship, we can't help but wonder what this lot will do once they come to play in the Premier League.
  13. Our teachers and parents often told us that one shouldn't be afraid of making mistakes. After all that's how we learn in life, right? But, what if that mistake is an expensive one...Rs. 4 lakh (approx) to be precise? In a bizarre turn of events, Hawksmoor Manchester, a restaurant in UK served a group of three businessmen their most expensive bottle. And the best part is, they didn't even ask for it. They had called for a bottle worth £260 (Rs. 23,200 approx), but instead were 'accidentally' served wine that costs £4,500 (Rs. 4 lakh approx). © Pexels Seriously, who would order such an expensive bottle of wine? Well, in this case, literally no one. Honestly, if I was served wine that expensive, I would either pour it in a bottle and sell it to a museum or savour every drop so carefully, as if my life depends on it. According to reports, the blokes who drank that expensive wine didn't even notice and are probably still unaware about the goof-up. Or maybe they know now. It was the trainee manager's mistake, who got confused between the two bottles as they "looked pretty similar". The staff realised the mistake when the customers called for a second bottle, but didn't publicly admit the mistake. © Twitter For all the wine connoisseurs out there, what the diners called for was a 2001 bottle of Chateau Pichon Longueville Contesse de Lalande - price £260. What they got was a 2001 bottle of Château Le Pin, Pomerol, - price £4,500. Next time, you go to UK be sure about your drink. Here are the two bottles. THEY LOOK PRETTY SIMILAR OK?! ð pic.twitter.com/JWFW81cbe8 — Hawksmoor Manchester (@HawksmoorMCR) May 16, 2019 The restaurant, however, accepted their mistake in the best way possible and are now being praised on social media for their stand. They wrote, "To the customer who accidentally got given a bottle of Chateau le Pin Pomerol 2001, which is £4500 on our menu, last night - hope you enjoyed your evening! To the member of staff who accidentally gave it away, chin up! One-off mistakes happen and we love you anyway." To the customer who accidentally got given a bottle of Chateau le Pin Pomerol 2001, which is £4500 on our menu, last night - hope you enjoyed your evening! To the member of staff who accidentally gave it away, chin up! One-off mistakes happen and we love you anyway ð — Hawksmoor Manchester (@HawksmoorMCR) May 16, 2019 Reportedly, Will Beckett, co-founder of Hawksmoor said "Another manager picked up on it when they asked for a second bottle." In order to avoid an awkward situation, the staff member "gently steered the customers toward another bottle of wine and kept quiet." The restaurant staff was really sweet and charged the men a bill of over £400 (Rs. 35,700 approx). It was only after the shift was over that the trainee manager was told that she had served the restaurant's most expensive wine. But, the way the restaurant reacted to the entire incident is commendable. We hope we had such great bosses at work. And for the chaps who drank that wine, you guys are the luckiest diners ever. 14. 'Game Of Thrones' is not just one of the biggest shows possibly on the planet right now, but also an eyebrow raiser for a tonne of things. From the conniving plots to the gruesome deaths that might've affected millions of viewers across the globe to the dream pay packages for the actors, there are a number of reasons 'GOT' is special. via GIPHY A leading publication broke the salaries down for us: 'Game of Thrones' season 8 is a total of 434 minutes. Among the actors, the actor who plays the actor Cersei Lannister, Lena Headey screen time's is only 25 of those minutes. Another leading publication reported that her salary is around $1.2 million which comes down to 8,40,03,000 rupees, a remuneration which is on the same level as her co-stars Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, and Peter Dinklage. © Getty Images And apparently, her remuneration per minute would come down to $48,000, which would come down to Rs 33,60,000 approximately. And if we consider what action dominated her screen time this season: it would come down to her sipping wine and staring into the void from the safe (ahem not after the last episode: via GIPHY It is important to note at this point that Cersei Lannister's character played a central role in the preceding five seasons as a woman for her unpredictable game-changing moves in order to stick around the Iron Throne. This season, however, her character did not see much light as the central focus shifted to the White Walkers. But earning Rs 33 lakhs per minute for sipping wine and overseeing a war being shot is certainly a dream job we wouldn't mind having.

According to Samsung, it made this vertical TV to appeal to younger buyers who want to watch vertical videos. Don't worry though. Sero is not just a vertical TV. It's possible to flip the screen and watch horizontal content too. The TV comes with a built-in screen mirroring functionality, so you can also beam videos from, say, your phone or tablet to the TV. There's also a 60-watt speaker for music streaming. © Samsung Sero, in case you're wondering, will be available in South Korea by the end of May, and it will carry a price tag of about $1,600. Should you buy it? Well, if you're into TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and other vertical videos on YouTube, then by all means yes. There's no info about its availability outside Korea, but it'll be interesting to see how it's received in other markets.
  16. Growing up as kids, we all had our obsession with some or the other thing, right? For some, say, it's video games, while for others it could have been something as small a thing as collecting stamps. Well, for a Michigan man dubbed Charlie, who's currently suing his parents, it's porn. Why is Charlie suing his parents? Well, it's because they got rid of his 'valuable' porn collection which he estimates was worth $29,000 (roughly over Rs. 20 Lakhs). © Reuters Yes, a 40-year old man has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Michigan against his parents who threw out 12 boxes filled with his porn videos and magazines. According to FOX 17, it all started when Charlie moved out of his parent's house in Grand Haven after going through a divorce. He says that when he moved out, his parents delivered his things to his new home in Indiana, except for the 12 boxes of pornographic films and magazines. Upon confronting, his parents agreed that they dumped the porn, which included titles such as 'Frisky Business' and 'Big Bad Grannys'. He was clearly pissed about his collection getting destroyed. He called the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office to file a police report, estimating the collection at $28,940. © Unsplash The prosecutors are said to have decided against filing charges against his parents. however, Charlie is still suing his parents for $86,822 in damages. Charlie says some of the videos are extremely valuable because they aren't being distributed anymore.
  17. For a team that has often been labelled as underachievers, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) continued to live up to that reputation after losing six games on the trot in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Despite boasting of some of the biggest names in international cricket, the Bangalore franchise consistently failed to get past their opponents in this year's edition. However, their dismal losing streak finally came to an end after a strong showing against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) saw them securing a convincing eight-wicket win in their last match. A brilliant batting performance by Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers got RCB over the line, giving their fans something to cheer for. While RCB finally managed to register their first points this season, their troubles aren't over yet. Following their win over KXIP, captain Kohli was handed a fine of Rs 12 lakh for breaching the IPL's Code of Conduct. Twitter/@IPL The Team India captain was found guilty of maintaining a slow-over rate in the clash against KXIP which led to the unfortunate ramifications. "Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate during their VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 match against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali on 13th April 2019," said an IPL statement. "As it was his team's first offense of the season under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offenses, Mr. Kohli was fined Rs 12 lakh," it added further. In the process, Kohli became only the third captain this season to be handed a fine for his team's slow over-rate. Mumbai Indians' captain Rohit Sharma and Rajasthan Royals' skipper Ajinkya Rahane were also fined by IPL governing council for maintaining slow over-rate earlier this season. Twitter/@IPL As per the rules, a second violation for slow over-rate would result in a fine of Rs 24 lakh for the captain and 25% of the match fee from every other player in the team. And, a third offence will lead to a one-match ban for the captain and an increased fine of Rs 30 lakh. With RCB returning to the winning ways, Kohli will surely feel less burdened, but the Indian batting sensation will need to be careful about the slow over-rate when his team visits the Wankhede stadium to lock horns with Mumbai on 15th April.

While all of us sit at our desk jobs and dream of travelling somewhere nice for a holiday, one lucky bastard will soon be travelling the entire world for that job and even earn double, triple of what we earn. This dream job would be with Matthew Lepre, a millionaire from Australia in search of a personal assistant. 19. Arguably one of the vital cogs in the MS Dhoni-led unit, Dwayne Bravo gave a scare to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) title defence this season after suffering a hamstring injury. The grade 1 hamstring strain meant that the Trinidadian cricketer will be out of action for up to two weeks. Confirming the news, Chennai's batting coach Mike Hussey had revealed: "It's going to cause a little bit of rejigging of the team but I am sure we are going to be able to put together a very strong team. It's a big loss but we have had these challenges in the past. Let's hope we can do this again". While his injury is undoubtedly a big blow for Chennai, Bravo, in the meantime, is making the most of his time away from the playing field. In fact, the 35-year-old seems to be looking at potential career choices post retirement, with hairstyling being one of the options. In a video shared by CSK's official Twitter handle, Bravo was seen giving his young teammate Monu Singh a haircut. While Singh wasn't really sure if he wanted a haircut from his CSK teammate, Bravo managed to convince him by offering Rs 1 million if he wasn't satisfied with the new look. While Bravo seems to have found a new hobby, Chennai fared pretty well in his absence against Kings XI Punjab, beating them by 22 runs in their last game. With four wins in five games so far, Chennai appear solid in their title defence this year. But, Dhoni's men will have to be at their prolific best when they take on table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in what promises to be a pulsating clash on 9th April.

A new video was recently shared by Samsung that shows off the phone undergoing stressful durability tests when it comes to folding. The Galaxy Fold will be coming to India later this year as confirmed by DJ Koh at the Galaxy S10's launch event. The Galaxy Fold has a 4.6-inch single folding AMOLED display and can be turned into a tablet with a screen size of 7.3-inches. 24. The stunning diva, Alia Bhatt, who just celebrated her 26th birthday in style, did something mighty philanthropic and we couldn't be more proud of her. She has reportedly gifted Rs 50 lakh to her domestic help Anmol and her driver Sunil so that they can buy a house in Mumbai. © Instagram The two have been there with her since the start of her career in 2012 and for Alia this gesture was rather pertinent and imperative because she wanted to return the help they've been giving her since so many years. The two have already booked their houses in Juhu and Khar Danda, respectively and will start building soon enough. We believe this is a grave lesson every other celebrity should carry back from this young house-of-talent. More often than not, we seldom forget the people who've supported us through thick and thin and stuck through time to render their services without giving up, need a day or two in the sun to shine bright too. If you are someone who likes to spend your fortune a little more lavishly, and things like holidaying around the world, stocking wardrobes with designer clothes aren't cutting it for you anymore, then Caviar has just the right thing for you. Meet Caviar's “Grand Complications Skeleton Diamond Edition” iPhone. Yes, that's the name of the phone and we aren't even complaining because it carries a rather hefty price tag of $23,380, which roughly translates to about Rs 16 Lakhs. Sounds like a perfect phone for spoiled Insta-kids? © Caviar So, what's with this phone? Why is it so expensive? Well, for starters, it's got a mechanical clock right in the middle of its back, complete with diamonds and gold plates. The phone's back has black engraved titanium, gold plating, and 252 diamonds. No, we won't judge you if you decide to sit and count the number of diamonds. The dial parts of the watch are made of platinum, and the dial itself is protected by sapphire glass. Also, the mechanical clock has nothing to do with the phone itself. It's not getting its power from the phone, so you'll have to manually wind the clock every 30 hours with the gold-plated crown. © Caviar Only 99 of these iPhones will ever be made, and you'll get to see which of the 99 Caviar iPhones you bought. Just to touch base on the pricing, the 256GB variant of this iPhone XS starts at $23,380 (Rs 16 Lakhs), whereas the top of the line 512GB iPhone XS Max variant will cost you as much as $24,530 (Rs 17 Lakhs). Besides the shiny exterior, there's nothing new about these iPhones. You're essentially buying the same iPhone XS which you'd buy from Apple itself. Don't worry, they ship worldwide and the delivery is free. © Caviar You can learn more about these iPhones here.
