  1. This week Facebook has been facing one of the biggest PR disasters in recent times since the Cambridge Analytica fiasco as it was discovered data of over 500 million users is accessible online to anyone. Data such as full names, email addresses, phone numbers and other sensitive information can be accessed online for free. Facebook says the data was “scraped” in a 2019 security hole, however there’s a good chance your personal data has not changed in the past few years. So much so, even Mark Zuckerberg’s personal phone number was leaked as a part of the data leak as well. © bermix-studio-unsplash It was also discovered that Mark Zuckerberg uses Signal over his own WhatsApp app to communicate with peers. The reason why this is alarming is that you probably have not updated your personal details since 2019 and it is precisely the reason why you should be concerned. Not only does this make you vulnerable, but it also makes you a target for phishing attacks, hacks and identity theft as well. Thankfully, there is a way to check whether your data was a part of the leaked data, thanks to a database website. All you need to do is go to HaveIBeenPwned.com where you can check if your email address or mobile number was leaked. All you need to do is enter your Facebook linked email address or phone number in the text field and hit enter. If the website gives a result ‘Oh no —pwned!’ it probably means your personal data is available on the internet. © MensXP In this case, you should immediately change your Facebook password and also the password of any other services registered with that particular email address. You should also enable two-step authentication on any of the websites and services you use in order to better protect your data and account. © altumcode-unsplash Once you have secured your accounts, be vigilant about suspicious links and phishing emails or even SMS/WhatsApp. You should also disable open messaging so that unknown users cannot send you texts with phishing links. If you are really concerned about your privacy and are able to take extreme measures, change your phone number associated with the Facebook account as well. However, if that is your primary number, you will also need to update your personal phone number with other services such as banks, food delivery apps, courier services and other identity documents such as Aadhar. 3. Despite owning one of the most popular messaging apps WhatsApp, it seems like Mark Zuckerberg uses the secure messaging app Signal. As a part of the massive Facebook leak, It was discovered by Cybersecurity researcher Dave Walker that Mark Zuckerberg’s personal data was also found online including his personal phone number. © Reuters It was also revealed that Zuckerberg uses Signal instead of his own WhatsApp messaging platform to communicate with his peers. It’s quite shocking to see that Zuckerberg does not use WhatsApp to communicate and uses a rival end-to-end encrypted app instead. “Mark Zuckerberg also respects his own privacy, by using a chat app that has end-to-end encryption and isn’t owned by @facebook,” Dave Walker, wrote on Twitter. In another turn of events, Mark Zuckerberg also respects his own privacy, by using a chat app that has end-to-end encryption and isn't owned by @facebook This is the number associated with his account from the recent facebook leak. https://t.co/AXbXrF4ZxE — Dave Walker (@Daviey) April 4, 2021 Signal did not waste time to troll Zuckerberg as the May 15th deadline is fast approaching for WhatsApp users. Users who do not accept the new privacy terms and conditions will eventually be locked out from the messaging app. “For a short time, you’ll be able to receive calls and notifications, but won’t be able to read or send messages from the app,” according to the company’s FAQ page. © Reuters The revelation of Zuckerberg using Signal comes at a time when several users are not happy with Facebook-owned WhatsApp's new privacy policy. Users of the popular messaging app started shifting to safer alternatives like Signal and Telegram in the coming weeks which prompted the company to delay the implementation of the new privacy terms. Do you think it's ironical that Mark Zuckerberg himself uses Signal over WhatsApp to communicate with peers? Will you be switching to Signal or Telegram once the new privacy terms have been implemented? Let us know in the comments. View the full article
  4. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their second baby on February 21, 2021. Kareena was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai where she gave birth to her baby boy. They made a conscious decision to not show their baby’s face till it’s the right time because their first son Taimur Ali Khan was brutally trolled for his name. They haven’t revealed their second son’s name yet. View this post on Instagram Yesterday night, Randhir Kapoor shared a picture of a baby which he later deleted but by that time, people had already taken screenshots and circulated them online, claiming that this was Kareena and Saif's second son. He took to Instagram and shared a collage of two babies. While one appeared to be Taimur, the other one was the new member of the Pataudi family, as the fans claimed. Here’s the screenshot: © Instagram If you are thinking this is the picture of Kareena’s second son, there’s a twist here. A source close to Kareena exclusively told us, “The picture of the baby that is going viral is completely fake. The fans will have to wait a little longer as the couple hasn’t decided when to share the images of their son on social media.” Kareena has been working round the clock and returned to work just a month after she delivered her second baby. Speaking about it, Kareena had said in December, "No, there has never been any plan that I have to do this or that. It's just that I have never been that kind of a person who would sit at home and say, 'Now I want to put my feet up'. I am doing what I want to do. Working — whether it’s during my pregnancy or post-delivery — has been a point to just say that when has anyone ever said that pregnant women can’t work? The more active you are, the healthier the baby is and the happier the mother is. After delivery, too, once you feel fit enough, one should do what they feel like doing, and try to balance it out between giving time to the child as well as your work and yourself. I have always been very proud of being a working mother." View this post on Instagram She broke stereotypes when she became a mother for the first time and is following the same route again. Nonetheless, what do you think about the leaked picture incident? Do you think it's a fake or was it actually the picture of Kareena and Saif's second son? Tell us in the comments below. 5. Over the weekend, it was discovered that a massive trove of hacked data from Facebook was leaked online and it in fact included Mark Zuckerberg’s personal cell phone number, according to a security expert. The data was stolen earlier this year in January after hackers exploited a vulnerability related to phone numbers associated with Facebook accounts. © Reuters On Saturday, data of over 500 million users was readily accessible to basic data skills after it was posted in a hacker forum. Facebook dismissed the data as “very old,” however it doesn’t mean much of the data of users has changed over the course of time. Data such as phone numbers, email addresses, location, Facebook IDs, and full names were leaked on the hacker website. Security Expert Dave Walker pointed out that the company’s own CEO was a victim of this data leak as Zuckerberg’s personal data was also leaked. “Regarding the #FacebookLeak, of the 533M people in the leak – the irony is that Mark Zuckerberg is regrettably included in the leak as well. If journalists are struggling to get a statement from Facebook, maybe just give him a call, from the tel in the leak?” Walker tweeted with Zuckerberg’s name and information where the phone number was partially blacked out. Facebook has been facing scrutiny about data security for years ever since the social media giant was used by the political firm Cambridge Analytica to access the information of 87 million users. The company accessed the data without their knowledge or consent that got even more scrutiny from U.S. officials. Facebook disabled the feature which allowed users to search one another via phone number due to this incident. © Reuters In 2019, a security researcher from Ukraine spotted a database with names, phone numbers and unique user IDs of 267 million Facebook users based in the US. What’s shocking is that the database was discovered on the open internet that could be accessed by anyone. It’s quite hilarious to see that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s own personal data was found as a part of the massive leak. It shows that everybody is vulnerable to these data leaks and it does not spare even the likes of billionaires. Do you think it was fair Zuckerberg got a taste of what it feels like when your personal data is leaked online? Let us know in the comments what you think about this fiasco. View the full article

  7. Digital payments app Mobikwik has come under fire after it was discovered that the data of 3.5 million users was put on sale on the dark web earlier this week. The data breach was found by a security researcher who claimed that the data of Mobikwik users such as KYC details, addresses and phone numbers were put on sale on the dark web. © TechNadu Several users have already spotted their personal details on the dark web link that is now being circulated on the internet. The data breach was first found by security researcher Rajshekhar Rajaharia in February. “11 Crore Indian Cardholder's Cards Data Including personal details & KYC soft copy(PAN, Aadhar etc) allegedly leaked from a company's Server in India. 6 TB KYC Data and 350GB compressed mysql dump,” he said in February. © TechNadu To confirm the leak, security researcher Elliot Alderson posted a screenshot of the data being sold on the dark web and called it the “largest KYC data leak in history.” A report by TechNadu also detailed that other data such as email ids, phone numbers, password apps installed, IP address, GPS location, phone manufacturer and other details of users were also leaked. The seller of the data has set up a dark web portal “where one can search by phone number or email ID and get the specific results out of a total of 8.2 TB of data.” The MobiKwik leak is real. Here is what the dump had for me. One of those credit cards was valid until a couple weeks ago, and I don't recall authorising MobiKwik to save it. Companies that lie like ought to be taken to the cleaners. https://t.co/sptyC1Jz8f pic.twitter.com/c4Uu25OviP — Kiran Jonnalagadda (@jackerhack) March 29, 2021 Mobikwik was quick to deny the original discovery by Rajaharia in February, however a link from the dark web was spotted online on Monday. Many users have claimed that they could find their personal data on the dark web. It is currently uncertain whether personal details that are available on the dark web were a part of the Mobikwik data breach. Alleged leaked data from Mobikwik is now being sold for 1.5 bitcoin or about $86,000. Mobikwik has denied any sort of data breach and said in a statement on March 4, “some media-crazed so-called security researchers have repeatedly attempted to present concocted files wasting precious time of our organisation as well as members of the media. We thoroughly investigated and did not find any security lapses. Our user and company data is completely safe and secure.” Source: TechNadu View the full article

  9. Ye toh hona hi tha? The much-awaited Justice League Snyder Cut has apparently leaked onto several Torrent sites and other Telegram forums, much to the chagrin of makers and devoted fans. © HBO Max This is a bummer because the movie has finally launched today on HBO Max. Yes, it’s only available in the US, but folks in India can rejoice too as the studio’s India division tweeted that the movie will be available in the country starting 12:31pm IST, March 18 on Apple TV (formerly iTunes Movies), BookMyShow Stream, Google Play/ YouTube Movies, Hungama Play, and Tata Sky. India (@warnerbrosindia) March 17, 2021 When much-hyped-about movies are leaked in such a manner, it really questions the devotion of people who are eagerly waiting to watch it- ‘should I just watch it?’ or ‘should I wait to watch it the right way?’. Yup. Legit dilemma. Divided reactions flooded Twitter after the leak happened: justice league leaked but i have to be strong and wait till it premieres tonight pic.twitter.com/Z7Ox9kEmjh — zach (@LukaThaDon) March 17, 2021Yeah Someone shared it to me, but I didn't watched. — Mohammed Zunaid (@thatsthezunaid) March 17, 2021FYI for those who are excited for Zack Snyder’s Justice League: it has leaked so be wary of being online over the next two days as I’m sure spoilers will be popping up. — Frankee White PRE-ORDER 20 FISTS #1 & #2!! (@frankee_white) March 17, 2021 This development comes after last week, where some HBO Max users were accidentally treated to Justice League Snyder Cut when they tuned in to watch, wait for it… Tom and Jerry! © HBO Max However, if your resolve is weak and you are already thinking of watching the leaked version, here is why it’s not a good idea. So, the movie has been leaked in multiple versions of quality and file size (from 1.2GB to 7GB) and yes, some are seemingly genuine, the other files are apparently a trap to load viruses, malware, and a whole host of other issues onto your computer, if you chose to watch it. © Unsplash Also, I don’t think anyone needs to be reminded that piracy is illegal and a serious criminal offence under the Indian Copyright Act of 1957. Why spoil an awesome movie experience by watching something that could potentially ruin your computer or mobile? According to reports, the first leaked version of Justice League Snyder Cut appeared two days ahead of release on Torrent sites like The Pirate Bay and 1337x in full-HD 1080p resolution. 10. We now have a clear picture of what the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will look like, thanks to renowned leaker WinFuture. It seems the leaker has spoiled OnePlus’ party by releasing information and images ahead of its official launch later this month. Some of the images include official press renders which were going to be made public after the event on March 23rd. This is probably the first official look at the upcoming flagship besides the teaser that was posted by the company on social media. © Winfuture This leak details both the Pro and regular model from various angles and even reveals the different colours the phone will be available in. Prototype devices of the upcoming flagship have been spotted before and these renders are almost identical to them. The OnePlus 9 Pro will allegedly come with a curved 6.7-inch display and the OnePlus 9 will have a smaller 6.5-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. WinFuture also speculates that the OnePlus 9 will use a plastic body instead of a full metal frame. © Winfuture Both models will also come with the Hasselblad branding on the camera modules thanks to a new partnership. The company has already revealed that the phones will have a Sony IMX789 main sensor. The smartphones will also be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 ultra-wide sensor that should result in clearer ultra-wide shots. © Winfuture Other specifications include the smartphone being powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. The phone is also rumoured to be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The OnePlus 9 Pro will be available in three colours i.e. sturdy black, olive green, and metallic silver. The OnePlus 9, on the other hand, will be offered in black, blue and purple options. © Winfuture The latest leak has painted a clearer picture of the upcoming OnePlus 9 Series, however if you want to catch up on all of the previous leaks, you can read about them here. 11. Apple has been long rumoured to host an event later this month and it seems like the date may just have leaked. The leak comes from renowned Apple leaker Jon Prosser who has predicted accurate dates for Apple events and products in the recent past. This particular event is expected to be held on March 23rd and will feature new hardware. However, it is still unclear which products Apple may finally launch. Nonetheless, these are some of the products Apple is rumoured to launch later this month. AirTags © Slashleaks Apple’s wireless earbuds do need a new design refresh especially since they have been using the same design for years with incremental upgrades. The new AirPods are expected to have a similar design as the AirPods Pro albeit without the ability to use active noise cancellation. The new AirPods are expected to have support for Dolby Atmos content and spatial audio as well. The new AirPods were expected to launch sometime in 2020, however it was probably delayed for the March announcement. There’s a very good chance we will get to see the new AirPods later this month according to recent leaks. Apple TV 2021 © kelly-sikkema-unsplash 2020 was a huge year for gaming and it seems like Apple wants a slice of that pie too. Apple has already rolled out services like Apple Arcade and it seems the company now wants a device that can play console-level games in people’s living rooms. Apart from being a streaming device, the new Apple TV is also expected to run games, thanks to an upgraded SoC for better performance. The new Apple TV is also expected to come with a new remote design since the earlier version was not loved by users universally. iPad Pro 2021 © roberto-nickson-unsplash The new iPad Pro 2021 is probably going to be announced for Apple’s March Event just like last year and it is expected to look more or less the same as last year’s tablet. The housing is expected to be the same as the design works quite well for the tablet, however there is a good chance that it may come with thinner bezels. Apple may also upgrade the display technology on the new iPad Pro as there are rumours of mini-LED screens being used instead of the usual LCD screen. Rumours also suggest the iPad Pro is expected to come in an 11-inch and 12.9-inch model. iPad mini 2021 © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla We are yet to see an iPad mini with a new design since Apple launched the last model way back in 2019. A new iPad mini is due for a while and rumours suggest that the smaller iPad will take influence from the Pro lineup similar to the iPad Air 2020 design. The new iPad mini is expected to get rid of the thick bezels and the home button and instead use the same housing as the iPad Air albeit smaller. The tablet might come with a fingerprint sensor on the home button as well and have support for the Apple Pencil 2. View the full article
  12. Imagine you were going through your day, happily putting on Tom & Jerry (just imagine for a second) on a streaming platform, unaware that an hour into the movie you would somehow be switched over to the highly-anticipated Zack Snyder’s Justice League more than a week before it’s actual release. Sounds ridiculous or like a dream come true? Well, you’d be surprised to know it actually happened! Yup, turns out some HBO Max users got to see as much as two hours of the film before the issue was resolved. In a statement to ComicBook.com, HBO Max said, “Zack Snyder’s Justice League was temporarily available on HBO Max, and the error was addressed within minutes." Still, the cat was out of the bag and the internet was in flames over this new development. Some are pretty angry. Zack Snyder did NOT go through what he went through with WB, and his grief, to then spend 6 months to work in tandem with his other projects to get Justice League ready for next week for people to leak and spoil things on social media. **** ya'll. 14. OnePlus is expected to launch the new OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro in the coming weeks. We already know quite a few things about these phones thanks to all the leaks and rumors. Now, we just came across yet another leak that seemingly confirms a couple of interesting details. According to a reliable tipster Max Jambor, both the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro will be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery. Max has also confirmed that the phone will also come with a charger in the box. 9 and 9 Pro pic.twitter.com/PHU385KmL9 — Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) February 9, 2021 Honestly, we think a lot of people will be relieved to find out that these phones will indeed come with a charger in the box. A lot of manufacturers are now thinking of not including a charger in the box, and we're glad that OnePlus isn't one of them. This, by the way, isn't the first time we're hearing about the OnePlus 9 getting a 4,500 mAh battery. An earlier report had also confirmed that the vanilla model would get a 4,500 mAh battery. In fact, it was reported that the OnePlus 9 will also support 30W wireless charging and 65W wired charging. If not the regular OnePlus 9, we expect at least the Pro model to support these charging features. © MensXP/ Akshay Bhalla And if we're looking at 65W wired charging, then we think OnePlus will most definitely bundle a fast-charger capable of doing that speed in the box as well. So it is safe to say that a 65W charger will most definitely be bundled with the phone. We really hope a lot of manufacturers won't follow Apple's lead and ditch the in-box charger. Samsung was the first one to do it and we hope it'll be the only one to ditch this accessory. As of now, there's no official confirmation from OnePlus about the OnePlus 9 series' release. We're expecting the phones to come out in the next few weeks and we're hoping to see some teasers for the devices soon. We'll have more to talk about the phones once we have them, so stay tuned. 16. OnePlus flagships usually are great smartphones but are often held back by mediocre camera performance that usually puts it at a disadvantage. However, a very detailed leak by YouTube channel Dave 2D shows off the smartphone in its full glory, cementing what we can expect from the next flagship by OnePlus. © Youtube_Dave2D Previously, there were rumours of OnePlus partnering with Leica for its OnePlus 9 Series, however, a new video shows the company has now partnered with a different camera company. The video shows ‘Hasselblad’ branding on the camera module of the leaked OnePlus 9 Pro prototype almost confirming the partnership between the two companies. © Youtube_Dave2D According to the YouTube channel, images of the phone were shared with him by a user on Discord and it revealed far more than we anticipated. The leak also confirms the smartphone will come with four camera lenses where two of them are aligned vertically. The other two sensors are aligned horizontally and have the ‘Hasselblad’ branding between the two pair of lenses. Hasselblad has made accessories for Motorola in the past for the Moto Z camera mod but it was more of a gimmick than improving the smartphone’s camera performance. It would be interesting to see if the new lenses make any difference to the quality of images shot by the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro. © Weibo In our experience, a smartphone’s camera fidelity depends on the hardware as well as software tuning. Smartphones like the Pixel series, iPhone 12 and even Samsung Galaxy devices use computational photography to take better images with camera sensors. It isn’t clear whether OnePlus have implemented something similar for its own computational photography capabilities as of now. The OnePlus 9 Pro has been leaked in the past in detail where the device is tipped to have a QHD+ display, 120Hz refresh rate and is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. The device is expected to sport two 48MP sensors, a telephoto lens and a macro lens according to leaks. The OnePlus 9 Series is expected to launch next month in March, a month earlier than the company’s annual cycle. View the full article

Kunal Kamra is also known to have quite 'heavy feelings' for Mr Goswami (as we all know), and his sentiments for Arnab Goswami never changed. Kunal made sure that he never failed to express his views about Arnab publically and came up with innovative ideas to insult him and entertain the audience. Kunal and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in Spetember 2020 went to Republic TV’s office to give Arnab Goswami the 'excellence in journalism award'. Both of them went to the studio premises with actual slippers framed and were denied entry inside Republic TV premises. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below!
