ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsWith the 2019 season of the Indian Premier League in its second leg, Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians are visiting Delhi to play their second match against Shreyas Iyer and his Delhi Capitals today. A day ahead of their matchup, Capitals batsman Prithvi Shaw got to share what is probably one of the most memorable moments of his young life when he got to sit across the table from the all-time great, Sachin Tendulkar, for dinner at MI's hotel. Living the dream of millions of fans of Tendulkar's, Shaw uploaded an unforgettable photo of the duo sharing a meal last night on social media. Thank you SACHIN SIR for the lovely dinner ♥ï¸ It's always a pleasure meeting you SIR ð @sachin_rt Sir pic.twitter.com/VLuR9Bee1O — Prithvi Shaw (@PrithviShaw) April 17, 2019 “Thank you SACHIN SIR for the lovely dinner. It's always a pleasure meeting you SIR”, a true Tendulkar fan in Shaw wrote in the caption. The 19-year-old cricketer is considered by many to become the next Sachin Tendulkar based on his natural batting style and the level of skill he has reached at such an early age. The two athletes have shared quite the relationship in the past decade. At nine years of age, Shaw was able to impress the little master with his form and technique. Last year, Tendulkar recreated the moment he met Shaw for the very first time. “I asked him not to change his grip or stance, irrespective of any future instructions from his coaches. If anyone asks you to do so, tell them to come talk to me. Coaching is good, but overcooking a player with tweaks is not," Tendulkar said on his app '100MB'. "It is so important not to change anything when you see such a special player. It is God's gift to have a complete package," Tendulkar added. However, the wonderfully comical place that the internet is, they seemed to be a lot more interested in what the two ate at the dinner than anything else: Kya Kya khaya Bhai @PrithviShaw — Suraj Yadav (@Suraj4Yadav) April 18, 2019 ð¤¤ð¤¤ð¤¤ð² — Sanket D (@sanketdhende) April 18, 2019 Sambar idly , Dosa Chutney , Vadapav , Poori , Pongal Vada, Uthapam , Tea , Coffee , Vadacurry , Sevai , Upma , Noodles Which one is your Favorite ? — Mahadevan (@Mahadev77720195) April 17, 2019
People Wanted PewDiePie To Be Banned From Apex Legends Because 'He Ruins Everything He Touches'
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsThe internet, as we all know, can be a very funny place at times. I mean, seriously. Some people have so much time on their hands, that they end up filing a petition on Change.org for no good reason. Someone filed a petition on Change.org asking Respawn Entertainment to ban the world's most popular YouTuber, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg from Apex Legends. In case you don't know what Apex Legends is, let me tell you that it's currently enjoying its space as one of the most popular battle royale title. Yes, the game reached 50 million players in a month, so clearly it's destroying all the competition. © Respawn Entertainment Now coming back to the petition, the petition dubbed "Ban PewDiePie from Apex Legends," was filed with Change.org because he apparently ruins everything he touches. So some people thought he must be kept away from a great game like Apex Legends. Anyway, we are happy to report that the petition has now been taken down from Change.org where it was originally being hosted. Why? Well, it was removed because there's no reason for such a strange petition in the first place. The petition didn't even manage to break 300 before it was taken down citing policy violation. That being said, We are pretty positive that EA or Respawn Entertainment would never ban a prominent figure like PewDiePie from playing the game. It would be free publicity for them if someone like PewDiePie plays the game on his channel which currently has over 91 million subscribers. After all, we're talking about Respawn here who paid Ninja $1 million to play for a few hours on launch day.
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsAt the beginning of this month, Apex Legends was announced, a Battle Royale game that is free-to-play just like PUBG and Fortnite. The game is developed by Respawn and Electronic Arts and is available for download on PS4, Xbox One, and Origin for PC. © KnowTechie Last week, Respawn revealed that the game has hit 25 million total players and had "well over" 2 million concurrent players during the weekend. If we compare, Fortnite took four months to achieve the same numbers and the game currently has 200 million players. Today, the developer has revealed that it has already banned more than 16,000 accounts for cheating. The company also asked users to capture proof of cheaters, such as a screenshot or video clip and send it to them. Even if the proof isn't available, they are urging players to report the cheaters' ID and it shall be taken up for investigation. © Respawn The game currently lacks an in-game reporting tool and the developer has acknowledged that it's a "good idea". Though, there isn't a timeline on when the feature will be rolled out. Given the massive popularity of the game, we expect the reporting system to drop soon since a manual complain filing is bothersome for players as well as the company. A cheater who goes by the name of Mengiez on Twitch was caught cheating in his own broadcast. Viewers noticed that he's asking a wall hack to keep an eye on his opponent's location. Another Twitch streamer going by the name Dharyxd was caught using an aimbot. The videos have since been deleted, but the cheating cost them their accounts. © Respawn The game will have a second patch this week, but we don't know what to expect with the upcoming Apex Legends patch. So far, Respawn has been doing pretty well with their response to player concerns. Many players have been complaining that PUBG has a huge issue with hackers and the developers aren't doing enough to curb it. Using hacks to score points ruins the fun of the game because no player should have an undue advantage. In December, PUBG received a new anti-cheating tool called BattlEye, and it helped in 30,000 cheating accounts.
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsThere's a hot new Battle Royale game that has been the talk of the town and we've been playing the game ever since its release. It's called 'Apex Legends' and the game is free-to-play across all platforms. Just like the any other Battle Royale game, you need to know a few tips and tricks in order to win a match. 'Apex Legends' has nuances that make it different from any other Battle Royale game out there. You need to know your abilities and different types of guns for different situations. Here are a few tips and tricks you need to know to secure that win in Apex Legends. Loot Is Important © YouTube No matter what you do, loot is the most important thing in any Battle Royale game. Make sure you grab the Armour, Helmet, weapon and ammo. Do not pick unnecessary items that you don't need as inventory space is more important than anything in this game. Have Enough Ammo Ammo is scarce and your guns will burn through ammo faster than you would expect. Make sure you always have enough ammo for your primary weapon. Use Your Ability Whenever You Can © MensXP Abilities in Apex Legends recharge very quickly and you should use it whenever you need it. For example, if you play 'Lifeline', always call in the drop as it has upgraded armour pieces or shield cells. If you play Bloodhound, make sure you use your ability to scan the area whenever you are unsure of your surroundings. Abilities will give you an upper hand in the game and we cannot stress enough how important it is to use abilities at the right time. Replenish Your Shields First © YouTube If you get damaged, always replenish your shield first as it is your primary health. It only takes 3 seconds to fill up each bar whereas a sunrise takes five seconds. Enemy's Armour Are Undamaged After you kill someone, always check for new armour in the box/body. It is best to switch to a new armour as it is faster than restoring it with 'Shield Cells'. After a gunfight, just pick up an enemy's armour instead as it is undamaged in his box. The Ping System Is An Essential Tool © YouTube You can communicate with your teammate without uttering a single word. That's because the ping system in Apex Legends is one of the best we've ever seen. You can ping weapons, armour, enemies and point out loot without saying a word. This removes the language barrier amongst random players and is probably the most essential tool in the game. Don't Waste Ammo On Downed Players © Respawn Entertainment If you've downed an enemy, it's best not to waste your ammo on finishing the job. If the coast is clear, you can use a finisher to kill the enemy which essentially helps you save ammo. You can also use them as bait to help you finish remaining squad members. Slide When Going Downhill © YouTube The game has no fall damage which makes it easier for you to traverse the map. You can even slide down a slope which can be used to dodge enemy fire and to find cover. It's also faster than running down a slope.
Be it his 270 knock against Pakistan or an extremely fine innings against England where he scored a brilliant 148, Rahul Dravid is and will always be the master of Test cricket. With going against the time, Dravid stuck to the basics and dominated the field with his defensive batting style even when the era of reckless and offensive batting had taken over. One of a kind, Dravid is loved by cricketers and fans from all around the world. His greatness has been well documented and is studied and glorified by the pundits of the game even today. As the cricketer turns 46 today, here is what some of the legends of the game have to say about 'The Wall': Ian Chappell © Reuters Dravid has always been India's superhero who showed up at the 11th hour to rescue his team from jaws of defeat and to victory, case in point, the Test match between India and England back in 2011 when Gautam Gambhir was unable to play due to a concussion and Dravid had to replace him as the opener. The block that he is, scored a stunning century. Brett Lee © Reuters Dravid is the nicest guy one could ever fancy meeting. For a person who has achieved so much, he has never been the one to let his success get to his head. While players of his stature tend to retire with a farewell tour, Dravid said 'goodbye' to the sport in a press conference in his home ground, the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Shoaib Akhtar © Reuters He was not called 'The Wall' for no reason. His knock against Australia in Adelaide back in 2003, where he scored a massive 233 runs in a single innings, exemplifies the reassurance Dravid was to the Indian cricket team. He was the backbone of the team that was essential for the proper functioning of the squad. Harsha Bhogle © Reuters Dravid has always been the one to highlight the achievements of his teammates. Never shying away from acknowledging the efforts put in by a batsman he shared a successful partnership or a bowler who bagged a couple of wickets to get the team a win, he is all about his fellow Men in Blue. Bhogle once wondered aloud “How can a man be so selfless,” and we still don't have an answer. Rahul Dravid © Reuters And that's who Rahul Dravid is, in essence. Never to fall for materialistic things like money, Dravid truly played earn his opponents' respect and pride and that's exactly what made Rahul Dravid, Rahul Dravid. Happy birthday, 'The Wall'!
