  1. "He may have aged, but he's still a lion uncaged!" We are not saying this, the makers and scriptwriters of 'Bharat' are, in this latest dialogue promo that was released today. Well, we don't know when Salman Khan's transition from being a 'Tiger' to a lion happened, but he's fierce regardless. And this promo is just a glimpse of how 'Bharat' is going to be much more than Salman romancing and dancing with Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani. T-Series In case you didn't know this already, the movie is a remake of the South Korean hit film 'An Ode To My Father' and will see Salman Khan in different characters ranging from an 18-year-old to a 72-year-old. T-Series We have already seen in trailers and teasers how Salman will look like as a circus artist or as a Navy officer, now it's time for us to see how an old Salman (probably in his 70s) will look like, while fighting with goons. T-Series The 20-second video shows a grandpa Salman being bullied by some goons. As expected Salman's 'andar ka boodha sher' awakens and he thrashes all of them with his bare hands (something only he can do). Is it just me or the action scenes and Salman looked strikingly similar to how he was in 'Kick' (only some years older)? Maybe, if 'Kick' makers ever plan to make a series, here's how Salman will look like in 'Kick 20'. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Bharat' is releasing on June 5 and also stars Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff and Nora Fatehi.
  2. Whether it's a 10-km ride to your office or a 1000-km ride to Ladakh, if you have a high-end good looking bike, it doesn't hurt to match by cleaning up well. Now, here's the thing: buying the right accessories not only makes you look the part of a pro-rider but also equips you with the comfort to battle the slowest of jams, the roughest of terrains, and the harshest of weathers. Here's your definitive guide to buying accessories that will make heads turn on the highway 1. Helmets © Getty Images At the cost of sounding like your friendly local traffic cop, wearing a helmet while riding is not an option. What is an option, however, is looking good in that protective gear you need. Choosing the right helmet can help you not only make your ride safe and comfortable but can turn heads and in a good way! The trick is to get the colour right; instead of a flashy yellow helmet, go for sturdy earth tones with your Royal Enfield. It helps to get the style right too. Usually heavy bikes are to be accompanied by open face helmets while street-style helmets go better with sport-bikes. It is always advisable to buy from official retailers that guarantee the right style, comfort, and quality. 2. Jackets © Getty Images Bike jackets can be either leather or fabric-based. While leather helps you look the way you'd expect a classic “biker” to look, high-quality fabrics are able to resist abrasion as strongly as leather, and new materials are equipped with Gore-Tex or other water-resistant membranes capable of keeping you dry in bad weather. Fabric-based jackets are affordable as well. Again, it is essential to get the right colour. The idea is to keep it classy, and not flashy at the same time. 3. Pants © Getty Images Contrary to popular belief, regular jeans will not protect you in an accident. It is always advisable to buy proper riding pants that offer the right comfort and protection. Much like jackets, pants can be either leather or fabric based. They should fit like a glove, but at the same time should be comfortable as well. Always test your pants out on a bike, what might work well standing, might not work great on a 7-hour road trip. 4. Gloves © Getty Images Bike gloves should fully cover your fingers, palm, and your wrists. Gloves should reach over or under your jacket leaving no skin exposed. Black is the safe colour here, but textured highlights can provide the right amount of flash in your otherwise overall classy look. What is most important is that the gloves fit well and provide you with enough strength to not only handle well but survive the unfortunate fall with zero scratches.
  3. If you're a gym bunny, you'll definitely agree with the statement that good shirtless selfies can act as an extremely potent motivator, when it comes to fitness. We should all be fit, because of a million reasons that we read about every single day, and the vanity bit associated with shirtless selfies are just a bi-product of that. However, if that pushes us to the gym and Yoga studios, what's wrong with that? We all like validation for our hard work, and that perhaps is the most harmless of them all. (c) Instagram/mrkhanna So homies, keep on clicking those gym selfies, if they make you happy. Haters will hate, no matter what. To help you out, here are 3 clever, tried and tested hacks to help you look more muscular and shredded in shirtless selfies. 1. Check the lighting. By that, we don't essentially mean that there should be plenty of light in your frame. Sometimes, you can do with little light as well. What you need to take care of is the angle. For indoor shots, like locker room shots or bathroom shots, top lighting works the best. If a light on the ceiling is the only source of light, stand underneath that and take 2 steps back. This arrangement will make your abs pop, and give extra definition to all your muscles. (c) Instagram/ranveersingh If it's daytime and you're standing next to a window, or any place with daylight, avoid letting the light hit you straight, flat on your body. Let it come from the side. Diagonal with a steep angle works the best because it makes your muscles look extra defined. (c) Instagram/soorajpancholi 2. When are you clicking it. Timing is important. If you want to look shredded, it's important to make sure you avoid clicking selfies when your body is retaining a lot of water. Immediately after a workout is a great time to ensure that does not happen. Early in the morning, before ingesting anything works out as well. Keep your core tight, suck your gut in, stretch your abdomen a bit, and you're sorted! (c) Instagram/varundvn 3. Your skin plays a big role in deciding how the selfie will come out. Your skin needs to be moisturised to be able to look more defined, because glossy surfaces look well-defined - it's common sense, really. So make sure you apply some moisturiser all over just before clicking it. However, you don't need that if you have just completed your workout and you're all sweaty from it anyway. Also, our skin looks the best right after a shower, so that may just be the best time to click a shirtless selfie. (c) Instagram/ranveersingh Keep them in mind and get ready for all the DMs.
  4. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has time and again proved that he is a stellar actor. This time, his brother Shamas, who is also his manager, is trying his hand at direction and Nawaz is playing the lead role in his directorial debut, 'Bole Chudiyan'. Mouni Roy has been paired opposite Nawaz in the film. The makers have now released the first looks of the characters. Nawaz will be seen playing the role of Mouni's passionate lover. It's an unusual pairing indeed and it will be interesting to see how they create a spark on the big screen. In one of the posters, Nawaz can be seen standing against the wall and it seems like he is in deep thought, pondering over something, and Mouni is seen peeping from behind a door and has an intense expression on her face. Mouni, in a short span of time, has conquered Bollywood. Nawaz had earlier tweeted that he would be sharing the screen space with her. “I am really excited to work with the very beautiful and talented @roymouni Hope to spread some fragrance of romance on screen #BoleChudiyan@woodpeckermovi1 @ShamasSiddiqui @zaverikiran9 #RajeshBhatia.” The film goes on floors in June. Check out the look posters here: © Woodpecker Movies © Woodpecker Movies In an interview with Bombay Times, Mouni said that she is excited to work with Nawazuddin, adding that he is immensely talented and she feels that doing a film with him would be a great learning process for her. On the other hand, Nawaz had said that Mouni has untapped potential and that she is open to experimenting with her roles, which is why she is a perfect fit for the character. Nawaz will be also seen in 'Sacred Games 2' while Mouni has 'Brahmastra' in her kitty. Are you excited to see the two of them together on the big screen?
  5. Xiaomi's Redmi phones have been a huge hit for the company. So much so that 'Redmi' is now a separate sub-brand. So far the Redmi has been limited to the budget segment, but the company is about to change that with its upcoming flagship device - the Redmi K20. The Redmi K20, in case you don't know, is a flagship phone, and Xiaomi officials have been calling it the 'flagship killer 2.0'. We still have to wait for it to launch officially to see if it's really a flagship killer, but we do know quite a bit about the phone already, including a picture of it. Rumored Specs That We Know So Far The Redmi K20 has been confirmed to sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 SoC, which means the phone will enjoy its space as a flagship phone alongside the Mi 9. As a flagship phone, it's safe to say that it'll carry a minimum of 6GB of RAM, although you can also expect an 8GB RAM variant. © Weibo As for the optics, the Redmi K20 will feature triple cameras on the back. You can clearly see all the three cameras in the render. Here', take a look. © Twitter Furthermore, the primary sensor of the phone is said to be a Sony IMX586 with 48MP resolution. It's the same sensor that's being used by OnePlus for the OnePlus 7 Pro phone, and we're quite optimistic about the picture quality. As of now, there's no info about the other two sensors, so we'll wait for more rate than speculating. And if you're a sucker for slo-mo videos then make a note that the Redmi K20 will also support 960fps slo-mo videos. A few other things we know about the phone is that it'll have a Notchless display, it'll have a pop-up camera and there'll be an in-display fingerprint scanner. Redmi K20 Launching in India Soon Here's the best part - The Redmi K20 is said to be coming to India very soon. The same has been confirmed by Xiaomi India's head Manu Kumar Jain. Most amazing & awaited flagship device launch of the year - #Flagship #Killer 2.0! ð I am in China to attend the launch event next week - on 28th May. Only one week to go! ð Mi Fans! Can not wait to show this incredible device to all of you guys.. ð#Xiaomi â¤ï¸ #Redmi pic.twitter.com/eFTRf7P9xF — Manu Kumar Jain (@manukumarjain) May 22, 2019 Well, we don't have an official date for the phone's arrival in India, but we think it'll happen as early as next month.
  6. The newest team that will have the honour of playing against some of the greatest names in the world of cricket such as Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, Eoin Morgan and others, Afghanistan could take the ICC World Cup 2019 by storm this June. For a squad that recorded their first Test win in just their second game, albeit against Ireland, the Afghan side is full of surprises and can not be overlooked by any of the favourites, if they wish to bring home that title with them. The Afghanistan Cricket Board did create shockwaves internationally by sacking captain Asghar Afghan a month before the World Cup, with Gulbadin Naib taking the high chair. Prior to becoming the leader of the team, Naib struggled to find himself a spot in the roster. What makes his appointment a lot more interesting is the kind of comparisons that were made between Naib and Karim Janat, the younger brother of the former skipper, and he is now no more than a reserve for the final Afghan squad. A few logical reasons that come out of giving Naib the highly prestigious spot in the team are the bowling conditions of the English pitches that are in favour of the 28-year-old medium-fast bowler and his fatal off-cutters. His ability to bat on almost any position down the batting order also adds to his resume. © Reuters A negative byproduct of appointing Naib as the skipper is the weak leadership quality at the top. Inexperienced in leading a senior team, the bowler is bound to face a little bit of turbulence, at least in the beginning, just like the 21-year-old Rashid Khan did, during Afghanistan's World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe. Even though Naib will lead the team to England and Wales, the World Cup journey of Afghanistan will major depend on Khan, who is currently the world No 1 ranked one-day allrounder according to ICC Player rankings. © Facebook/Rashid Khan 21-year-old Hazratullah Zazai aka “the Afghan Chris Gayle”, has also made a name for himself for hitting big shots in his short ODI career with the national team. A fine example of his explosiveness was witnessed by the cricketing fraternity in February when he smashed the second highest T20I total, hitting 16 sixes in a 162* run innings against Ireland. Having said that, the team's batting lineup is still a bit raw and highly volatile and in dire need of some balance. This is where Rahmat Shah steps in. A consistent batsman with the highest average in the roster in both ODI and Test formats of the game. While not a lot of people are expecting Team Afghanistan to win the World Cup championship this year, they are still more than capable of ruining the chances of winning for favourites like Virat Kohli's India or Eoin Morgan's England, especially in the 10-team format that quadrennial tournament is following this time over. Squad: Gulbadin Naib(c), Mohammad Shahzad(wk), Noor Ali Zadran, Hazratullah Zazai, Rahmat Shah, Asghar Afghan, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Najibullah Zadran, Samiullah Shinwari, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Dawlat Zadran, Aftab Alam, Hamid Hassan and Mujeeb ur Rahman.
  7. He is unfiltered, unapologetic, never shies away from putting forth his opinions and steers clear of the privilege that the 'Deol' tag offers him, particularly in his career. We are talking about none other than Abhay Deol here, the man who took his sweet time to carve a niche for himself in the industry, solely on his acting prowess. While most actors were busy ensuring their box office scores kept soaring, we had Abhay on the other side, churning out meaningful stories with his power-packed performances. He is surely among the rare breed of sorted actors we have in the industry right now. Be it 'Dev D' or 'Aisha' or 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', Abhay has never failed to impress us with his brilliance in his craft. If you have been missing watching him on the big screen, we have some good news for you. Abhay is coming back with his Netflix series 'Chopsticks' and a film titled 'Jungle Cry'. If you go by the trailers, you would have gotten an idea by now that something great is in store for you. Before you see him on the big screen and on your laptop screens, MensXP got you the unfiltered version of Abhay Deol, as we got a chance to interact with him and talk about some rather controversial issues. When we asked him if he has come to terms with the idea of his persona in the industry, which is known for being someone with rather strong opinions, Abhay said, "not sure what there is to come to terms with. Isn't that a good thing? As long as you don't force your opinions on others and are open to new ideas, there's no problem." If you have seen any of Abhay's films, you would know that he is known more for his choices of offbeat cinema. As a movie buff, I wanted to know what does he see in a script before giving a final nod to it. "Relatability, originality, context. I'm attracted to stories and characters that I can relate to, I look for originality even if it is a genre that has been done many times, and context, by which I mean where is it placed, how does it relate to that place, what is it saying about that place and why." Abhay started way too early when we talk about content-based cinema. Now, Bollywood is completely changing and content has now become the king. We have unconventional heroes like Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana taking the lead. The actor is proud of the change in the industry and said, "I think it's great! Technology has played a disruptive role all across the world and I was waiting for it to happen in our industry. When I was making non-conformist films, they got a release because coincidently the multiplex boom was happening. That came to an end, as there could only be a finite number of cinema halls we could have. With the digital era, that space is now limitless! The change in audience tastes has also happened because the generation that is going to the cinemas now was too young to be consumers when I was pushing hard for change. They've grown up exposed to world cinema/shows from a very young age and that explains their rejection of the old guard of Bollywood lately, and their embrace of more relatable actors, characters, and stories." View this post on Instagram Basking in the light of the #wintersun. A post shared by Abhay Deol (@abhaydeol) on Dec 4, 2018 at 1:47am PST Abhay shocked everyone when he took on the who's who of Bollywood and slammed them for promoting racism through their fairness cream endorsements. Talking about endorsements, it has become a clear shot formula for actors to be in the scene, even if they don't really stand by the product. I asked Abhay if he thinks that the concept of celebs endorsing such products blindly, should completely disappear from the scene. "Yes, I think celebs should not endorse brands that go against their principles. For example, if celebs who endorse fairness creams actually believe that fairer is better than darker, then that's fine. The thing is if they actually believed that, then they should find themselves to be inferior to fairer people as they themselves are dark in real life. And no matter how fair you are, as an Indian, you will always be dark in the context of the world. Then there are brands that pollute not just the body but also the environment, like all colas. On one level, all products are destructive to a degree, some more than others and I tend to side with the ones that cause the least damage because, after all, endorsements have become integral to an actor's career. Even the media plays its part, as endorsements are (often) their only source of revenue. We need to call out all players, not just the celebs to be 'fair'." Abhay said loud and clear. Abhay has always been very transparent in his approach to everything that he strongly believes in. Has it ever happened that he was rejected because of his transparency? Turns out, "many times." Well, that's how it works for people who are very blunt and transparent. So, what's next for him, "My next release is 'Chopsticks' which is the first Netflix Original film out of India. It goes live on its platform on the 31st of May," said Abhay. Are you excited for this one? View this post on Instagram A stolen car sends a frantic Nirma to an Artist to take on a goat-loving gangster. Chopsticks premieres on 31 May, only on Netflix. @mipalkarofficial I LOVE your expression in this one ð! @netflix_in @viniyardfilms A post shared by Abhay Deol (@abhaydeol) on May 14, 2019 at 9:35pm PDT If you think Abhay's journey has been a bed of roses because of the Deol tag, then you are wrong. His journey has been turbulent and he has had his own set of struggles. But what's more important is that he actually learnt from the things that held him from growing even more. "Everyone goes through struggles, successes, and failures. It's part of life and I'm glad I've got to experience both, the highs and the lows. You cannot appreciate the highs unless you have gone through the lows. As I said, everyone goes through highs and lows but not everyone learns to appreciate both, as many people do not like the lows. This is why there's a whole industry selling you a pill for your 'depression' or 'sadness'. I am aware that I've to lead a privileged existence and I am grateful for it. I've done exactly what I've wanted to, lived my life authentically and there are not many people who can say that." View this post on Instagram From the multi-talented @sinbadphgura This was taken at home, with only the natural source of light and no hair and make up. Come to think of it, that's how he always shoots with me! A post shared by Abhay Deol (@abhaydeol) on Jun 15, 2018 at 7:08am PDT The Deol tag eventually got me asking him about Nepotism that became a huge deal a while back. For the uninitiated, Nepotism is 'the practice among those with power or influence of favouring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs'. I asked him if he relates to the word and does he think having relatives in the industry helps the person grow, or does one have to constantly prove their caliber? To which Abhay had a rather strong response, "It's both a privilege and a curse. If you look at the current crop of actors, 99% of them are from a film family, the 1% left over are proteges of those with influence. It's unfair to point to Bollywood alone and call out its nepotism. Don't you see it in politics and big business as well? Most people would not like to hear this, but nepotism is part of Indian culture. Where do you think cast, 'Jati' comes from? The son is born into a community and carries forward the work of his father while the women get married and become housewives. Most of the country still operates under this Brahmanical system, the very thing both Gautam Buddha and Mahavira rebelled against. So, if you want to criticize Bollywood for its nepotism, look at your own family and ask the question, 'am I willing to marry outside my cast?' or 'am I running my father's business?' or 'will I let my maid or driver sit at the dinner table with me and eat with me?' Because all of these questions, believe it or not, are linked to our unique brand of Nepotism." View this post on Instagram All natural look, by the ethereal @aetheria_ #thephotographerisfarprettierthanthemodel. A post shared by Abhay Deol (@abhaydeol) on Aug 10, 2018 at 11:32pm PDT Well, that's quite an honest and a strong take on Nepotism. Why only blame Bollywood if it starts from your own home?
  8. You can trust Akshay Kumar to take up interesting projects and add versatility to his already super versatile career path. The man knows exactly what kind of movies he needs to pick, which serve a bigger purpose than merely entertaining the audience. The movie follows the story of a man who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender woman, who is looking for vendetta against the people who ruined her life. 9. There is a new trend that Instagram fitness gurus seem to be really embracing right now: Outrightly bashing cardio. Now it's because either they have little to no knowledge of training or they want to speak against the norm for the sake of grabbing attention. If your goal is to look aesthetically pleasing, you want to have muscle and lose fat as well. When both these things are nailed down, you get that physique you have always wanted. There was this study in 2012 that studied exactly the same. They took some men who wanted to lose fat and split them into three groups: 1. Group A did only cardio 2. Group B did only weight training 3. Group C did weight training and some cardio The study was done over the course of 8 months and this is what the research found: 1. The cardio group lost the most amount of weight. Along with this group, the weight training and cardio group also lost a similar amount of weight. © Getty Images With this, we can say that doing just cardio or doing a combination of weight training and cardio is good to lose weight. Cardio is the common factor here in training styles. 2. The weight training group did not lose as much weight but they built some lean muscle mass over the course of the study. The group that did weight training and cardio also gained some lean muscle mass over the course of the study. With this, we can say that doing weight training or doing a combination of weight training and cardio is good for gaining muscle. Weight training is the common factor in this case. Looking at this, you probably may think that if you want to gain muscle, you just need to do weight training and if you want to lose fat, you just need to do tonnes of cardio. Sadly, this is the reality in most gyms. Uneducated trainers who think binary and in a single-dimension approach training this way. Let's look at the benefits of weight training along with muscle building: 1. It improves bone density 2. It reduces sarcopenia or even reverses it 3. It protects your bones and joints 4. It makes you more functional Similarly, the benefits of doing cardio: 1. It improves heart health 2. It improves your endurance 3. It makes you more functional Though there are downsides of doing too much cardio, neglecting it altogether is plain stupid. The key point most people miss out here is 'too much' cardio. © Getty Images Sure, you can get jacked without doing any cardio but how good is that when you climb two floors of stairs and are panting? Oh, and the improved endurance would have a carryover effect to your lifting too. So how much cardio should you do and when should you do it? Typically, these are my recommendations as a coach: When To Do It? Post-workout or outside the gym and away from your weight lifting. This is to ensure you do not deplete your glycogen doing cardio and are fresh enough to do your best when lifting weights. How Much To Do? Depends on the style of cardio you are doing. You can do low-intensity cardio for more time or high-intensity cardio for a shorter time. If you are a beginner or weigh a lot, do low-intensity cardio as that will minimize the risk of injury. Low-intensity cardio - 3 to 4 sessions per week of around 30 minutes. High-intensity cardio - 2 to 3 sessions of 15 to 20 minutes each. So, stop following the cardio-bashers and do some cardio if you want to look aesthetically pleasing. 10. The Hindi film industry has evolved leaps and bounds in the last couple of years, with some really good content making its way to the big screen. Of course, a few senseless entertainment ('SOTY 2'...ahem) flicks also manage to slip through, but overall, Bollywood has managed to keep movie-goers engaged with quality films such as 'Raazi', 'Padman', 'Hichki', 'Parmanu', '102 Not Out', 'Andhadhun', 'Manto', 'Badhai Ho', 'Uri', 'Gully Boy' and the likes striking a chord with the audience. © Instagram The streak of quality content from Bollywood promises to continue with the release of some recent first looks, which have left the audience intrigued as well as excited for what's to come. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan shared the first look of his upcoming film 'Chehre' and the picture has got the grapevine working overtime, owing to the similarities between Big B's look in 'Chehre' to iconic 'Harry Potter' series character Dumbledore. © Twitter Well, the look has also made his fans anxious about what 'Chehre' is all about, since we have never seen Amitabh Bachchan in such a look. As per the latest reports, this much-awaited film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi is being produced by Anand Pandit and directed by Rumi Jaffrey. 11. Superhero movies can be inspiring. Characters like Captain America and Iron Man can motivate people to never give up, stay focused on their goals, try harder when things don't seem to go the way they'd imagined, and everything else in between. However, the beautiful thing about such movies is that they are open to interpretation. People are free to fall in love with whichever character they relate mostly to and aspire to become like them. Sometimes a little too much, but that's okay. Take this man, Henry Damon, for example. Currently 41-years-old, the Venezuelan comic book fan got up one morning and decided that he wanted to look like Red Skull from Marvel's 'Captain America: The First Avenger', a fictional (keyword) character played by the ever so talented Hugo Weaving. © Instagram/Henry Damon While the movie was released in 2011, Damon's resolution to look like the Hydra villain came around somewhere in 2012 when he tattooed his eyes black and realised for the first time that he was going to go the distance and modify his face completely to look like Red Skull. “He has loved comic books since he was a kid and always dreamed of being Red Skull, but never got round to doing it,” friend Pablo Hernandez said. © Instagram/Henry Damon After going through a series of operations to get subdermal implants to his forehead, Damon underwent surgery to chop off half of his nose to get the iconic nasal appearance the Nazi villain boasted so much in both the comics and the movie. © Instagram/Henry Damon “Henry aka Red Skull is a physically and intellectually healthy person,” said Emilio Gonzalez, a med-school drop-out with expertise in tattoo-making and extreme body surgeries. “He's an excellent son, husband and father, who has an extreme taste for body modification. Most of my customers know that body modification is the last step of body art, everyone knows very well what they want and as well as Henry, many of them are waiting for me for many years to make their dreams a reality.” After the nose surgery, Damon went on to put silicone implants on his cheekbones and covered his face with red and black tattoos to complete the look. Final result? Netflix just released the first look of season 2 we can't keep calm really. The most anticipated web series is back with a bang in a few months and we have a lot to look forward to, especially new characters who'll be joining the show. © Netflix While season 1 saw the departure of many of our favourites, Season 2 will witness Kalki Koechlin as Batya, and Ranvir Shorey as Shahid Khan, joining the Games in prominent roles. The brand new season promises a new trail of friendship, betrayal, crime, passion, and a thrilling chase through Mumbai's underbelly with these new characters. The second season picks up with Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) pursuing his relentless quest to save the city, and Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) facing bigger challenges to retain his position as the legendary kingpin of Mumbai. The intriguing Guruji (Pankaj Tripathi), introduced in Season 1 as Gaitonde's 'third father', plays a pivotal role in unfolding a chain of events that shape the season. © Netflix Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has directed Ganesh Gaitonde's track, while Neeraj Ghaywan (of Masaan fame) is the main man behind Sartaj Singh's plot for Season 2. Vikramaditya Motwane and Varun Grover continue their roles of being the showrunner and the lead writer, respectively. Kalki Koechlin, who plays the role of Batya, said on joining the show, “Personally, I am a fan of the series, and it is super awesome to be a part of the Sacred Games and Netflix family. Season 2 promises to be much more exciting and I cannot wait for viewers to watch me in the series.” she tells Netflix. © Netflix Ranvir Shorey, who plays the role of Shahid Khan, said, “The digital platform is so empowering and working on this audience-favourite show has been an absolute delight! My character in Sacred Games 2, Shahid Khan, is a complete departure from any of the roles I've played before, and I'm looking forward to fans across the world bingeing on the new season.'' he tells Netflix. 13. OnePlus is all set to debut the new OnePlus 7 series of phones on May 14. However, it looks like there's no stopping the flood of leaks about the phones that are hitting the shores. Following the OnePlus 7 Pro box packaging, the official renders of the OnePlus 7 Pro have now leaked online. The renders have been obtained by the folks over at Android Central from a noted leaked Ishaan Agarwal, and it shows off the phone in all its glory. © OnePlus 7 Pro As you can see, the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro will have an all-screen design on the front and a triple camera set up at the back. These cameras, in case you don't know, have 3x optical zoom too. The renders apparently feature the Nebula Blue and Mirror Grey variants and we gotta say that the phone looks absolutely gorgeous. Just look at that display! We can also see the alert slider on the right side of the phone along with the power button, whereas the volume rockers are on the left. The device also looks very slim, but we can't really say if it's slimmer than the OnePlus 6T just yet. © OnePlus 7 Pro The back design of the phone is largely unchanged, and the front is where it's at. As you can see, the front is almost entirely covered with the display. It's said to be a 90Hz QHD+ resolution panel, so we're really excited to see what it looks like in person.
  14. When it comes to choosing the perfect underwear for yourself, there's a lot to take into account. You have to wade through a wide variety of fits, styles, cuts, colours, and prints, before making your final decision. However, like with any other article of clothing, finding a perfectly fitting underwear is meaningless without the perfect fabric to compliment it. After all, it's the most intimate garment you wear, and stays in contact with your skin at all times. A man looks for three main things in a pair of underwear - comfort, breathability, and support. In fact, the best underwear for men should feel like you're not actually wearing anything at all! Most underwear brands have been using cotton as their go-to fabric, since it checks all three of those boxes. However, thanks to innovations in the world of fabrics, the modern man has a lot more options to consider. And one such fabric that stands out from the rest in all three of these departments is Lenzing Modal, which will transform your underwear experience for the better. © Pexels What Exactly Is Lenzing Modal? What exactly is Modal, we hear you wondering? Well, it's a type of rayon, a semi-synthetic fibre that is extracted from beechwood. It's trademarked by Austrian textile giants Lenzing Group, which explains the name. After undergoing a variety of processing techniques, it emerges as a fibre that is stronger than rayon, while still being softer than regular cotton. This feature makes it the ideal choice for a variety of products in the textile industry, with innerwear being right on top. What Makes It Such A Good Fabric For Your Underwear? You might think that your cotton underwear was soft enough, but the sleek cross-section of Modal fibres makes it twice as soft as regular cotton. This makes it the ideal fabric choice when it comes to the best briefs for men , a style known for providing an extremely snug fit. Not only that, they have been proven to retain this softness for much longer, even after repeated washes. Speaking of longevity, Modal fibres are also adept at retaining their colour for much longer, thanks to pigments getting embedded much deeper within them. Along with superior colour retention and unparalleled softness, Lenzing Modal also offers unmatched breathability, a feature which enhances the appeal of even the best boxer briefs for men . Its fibres manage the transportation of moisture naturally, supporting the body's natural temperature regulation and offering a refreshingly cool sensation as a result. © Shutterstock You Also Get To Save The Planet! If all that wasn't enough to convince you to give Lenzing Modal a try, there's another feature that will endear it to even the more environmentally conscious among us. These fibres are all derived from sustainable sources of wood, including natural forests, sustainably managed plantations, and other certified and controlled sources. So not only will you be rocking the softest, most vibrant, and most breathable underwear you've ever experienced, you can do so with the knowledge that there was minimal impact on the environment when they were being made. All things considered, trying out Lenzing Modal is sure to be a fashion upgrade you will be glad to make.

  16. First dates are complicated beyond doubt and those of us who've been in that awkward situation, know what I mean. There are many loose ends you try and tighten with your mind going on overdrive but sometimes, even they fail to enunciate what you actually need to do. Sometimes, prominent signs to know if your first date went well are very important and they can only be delivered if you pay heed to them. © Pinterest We're always waiting for a call or a text, wondering if we've been ghosted, always thinking if she liked the place you suggested, if she liked you vibe or is she just going to move ahead and never see you again. A lot of queries end up playing Tetris inside your head and I understand it's frustrating. So, in order to make it easier for you to judge whether or not your first date went well, I am going to give you a few ways to determine the apt signs that'll let you know the same: (1) The Initial Reaction Is Important What was it like when you first met her? If you're meeting her through a dating app, then you're probably meeting her for the first time ever. So, you have to remember what look she wore on her face. Was she nervous? was she confident? was she smiling through and through or did she seem like she wasn't interested at all? This is important because this tells you whether or not there's any scope to build chemistry between the two of you. What was your reaction upon seeing her? Sometimes reactions can be similar. But we won't base it on the first time you saw each other. We will base it more on how the evening went after. But the initial reaction you get from your date has a lot to say about her actions later. © Pinterest (2) The Number Of Hours Spent Together Are Important This is an important aspect. If you're spending time with someone and if they're bored or don't like you, they will make an excuse and leave. It's very common. They may just be there for a drink to not be rude and leave right after. But if she's thoroughly enjoying your company then chances are you both will end up spending hours together and have a good time as well. This marker can at least assure you that you didn't mess up anything for her to not get back in touch with you again. © Pinterest (3) Was There Enough Laughter? Laughter is the universal sign for fun and happiness and if there was adequate laughter from her and you, it means the date went well. Obviously, she can't pretend to laugh for hours. She will give up some time! If her laughter seemed genuine and she seemed happy and talkative, take that as a positive sign! © Pinterest (4) Body Language Is Important You probably didn't pay attention much but let me tell you body language is important to study. It tells you a lot about how interested a person is in you. If she was slouching throughout, had her arms crossed and her body always distant and facing the other way while she was with you, it probably meant she was disinterested or wasn't enjoying herself. If a woman is made to feel comfortable, in time, she opens up and it's fairly evident. If she kept stroking your arm, or put her arms around you or her body was very much in tune with yours throughout, be damn sure she definitely loved your company. © Pinterest (5) The Ending Is Important How did the date eventually end? Was it absolutely abrupt where she just said bye and headed home? or did it end with a nice conversation or a kiss to seal the deal? A kiss usually seals the deal most times. It's a sure-shot sign that both people want to take this to another level altogether. It also means she loved your company for the night and there's no better way to express that than a heartfelt kiss. Think about the kiss. Was it a peck? Or a full-blown smooch? or was it just a touch-and-go? If it was a peck, maybe she was just being polite. But if it was anything other than that, you've got her attention and probably a second date too! © Pinterest Siddhant Roop Rai (mc_soopy) Naina Bhan ( @nainabee) Location : Andaz Hotel (@andazdelhi) Photographer : Anand Gogoi ( @anand.gogoi) Stylist : Devanshi Tuli (@devanshi.15) Makeup and Hair : Shrishti Anand ( @srishtianandmakeup ) Production : Prapti Elizabeth (@prapti.elizabeth) It's not rocket science really. If you are looking forward to going on your second date, these signs will help you analyse how the first one went. Most times, you have to follow up but she will leave you enough hints on asking her out again. If you're going on a first date, these signs will come in handy, in case you look forward to another one with the same person. 18. Summer months can be terribly agonising especially when the humidity hits. From destroying hair that you freshly set in the morning as soon as you step out to sweaty patches in your pits, things can be a little hard to manage. One such problem that no one talks about is greasy skin and especially in pictures. Think going to parties after dressing up except all your pictures turn out greasy. So here's how you deal with greasy skin: Here's the thing, your forehead and T-zone could use a little less of oil production and to minimise that, you should do the following: 1. Commit To Matte Products © Getty Images Sometimes, the necessary process of moisturising can cause you to sweat profusely. If the product is too dense, heavy, and oily, it's going to aggravate your already greasy situation. Thus, a lightweight, fast-absorbing moisturizer will allow your pores to breathe more easily. 2. Switching To A Face Oil Also Helps © Getty Images The trick to nixing oily skin is applying more oil. The oil that you apply absorbs quickly and leaves your skin oil-free because it registers the oily levels of the skin as sufficient so it is in fact counterproductive. 3. Add A Toner To Your Routine © Getty Images Ingredients like witch hazel reduce oil production in the skin without drying it out. However, stay away from alcohol-based astringents, they are counter reactive. 5. Keep Face Wipes Handy Oil builds throughout the day but you obviously can't wash your face all the time. That's why it's helpful to stock up on refreshing, skin-toning face wipes that absorb excess oil while rejuvenating the face at the same time. 6. Remember To Buy Yourself An Oil-Controlling Cleanser © Getty Images Control the everpresent oil production with an oil controlling cleanser. Other cleansers won't do you justice. Heavy-hitting ingredients like salicylic acid remove excess face oil, clean and shrink pores, and minimize shine for the rest of the day. 7. A Weekly Mud Mask Is A Move That Everyone Forgets © Getty Images It only takes10 minutes, but these ten minutes of hassle can possibly be the fastest way to remove oil production. The clay in the mask will soak all impurities from the pores, preventing breakouts. Don't do it more than once a week or your skin might turn dry.

  20. The summer season has yet again paved its way into our lives, and while some of us have already begun to crib about the untamable spurt of sweat that it has brought along, most of us are actually preparing to take a dip into the ocean. With Bali and other international beach cities becoming as accessible as Goa (thanks to the gamut of budget travel packages that are available out there!) almost every other Instagram profile is packed with snaps of men posing shirtless on the sand, showing off those Mark Wahlberg abs, and women flaunting their bikini-bodies, looking nothing short of Miranda Kerr vacationing in Malibu! Not that we are trying to make you envious of anyone, but if you too are planning a beach vacation, it is essential to get all prepped up to look effortlessly stylish! So, to help you achieve that class-apart celebrity beach look, we have curated this four-step guide that might even fetch you paparazzi attention! Step 1: Work Your Way Towards Healthier Skin © Official Instagram/Sidharth Malhotra When you are planning a beach vacation, you know that your skin will be exposed for most of the day, and would hence require extra attention and care on your end. Furthermore, since you are going to spend a fairly good amount of time under the sun, it is essential that you ensure your skin is healthy enough to combat the harmful effects of UV rays. A glowing, and healthy skin is what makes a man more appealing, but no matter how much you aspire to have skin as ageless as Anil Kapoor's, you know that achieving it in one day is almost impossible. © Official Instagram/ Ranveer Singhn Since most men loathe spending hours on practicing skincare, here's a simple skin care routine, which won't eat up your precious hours, and yet give you beach-ready skin. 1) Ditch soap, and invest in a good quality face wash which suits your skin type. 2) Exfoliation is the key to healthy and glowing skin, so make sure that you exfoliate it two to three times a week. However, see to it that you don't over-exfoliate, for that may cause skin inflammation. 3) No one likes their skin to be flaky AF, so give it the hydration that it needs by lathering a good layer of moisturizer all-over. 4) An essential skincare practice, that most men aren't even aware of, or often skip, is applying a layer of a good quality pre-shave oil before shaving their mane. You shouldn't make the same mistake because not only does a pre-shave oil hydrate your skin, but it also ensures a smooth and close shave. Step 2: Toil Hard In The Gym © Official Instagram/Varun Dhawan Not that we want to burst your bubble, but it's more likely than not that laziness and that reckless winter binge eating has probably caused your stomach to protrude, causing your abs to bury under layers of fat. So before you decide to hit the beach, it's important that you get all geared up to toil hard at the gym. After all, when it comes to getting that perfect beach body, it goes without saying that no man wants to look any less sexy than John Abraham posing by the ocean in Dostana, sporting that sexy pair of swimming trunks for men . The only way for you to create a similar impression is by refraining from consuming carbs and doubling up your hours at the gym. Step 3: Get That Perfect Beach Attire © Official Instagram/ Karan Singh Grover For a large number of men, finding a trendsetting beach attire can be quite the daunting task. With the right guidance, however, this task can be made a lot easier. Since beaches call for breezy outfits and tropical prints, stocking up on trendy sleeveless t shirts for men and hip printed t shirts for men would make for the perfect choice. Another important component of any beach attire are modish boardshorts, or the coolest swimming trunks that you can wear, with or without a t-shirt/shirt. An important factor that you must keep in mind before investing in these garments is their fabric composition, which should ideally feature a breathable fabric (preferably cotton), so you can surf, swim, or build sand forts (you can NEVER be too old for this!) in complete ease. Step 4: Keep Your Grooming Products Handy © Shutterstock With the above mentioned steps, you have already mastered the beach look. However, it is essential that you do not give up on maintaining that look while you are ON the trip. As such, you ought to be carrying all your grooming essentials with you in a handy travel kit for men. Be it a face wash, moisturiser, or the quintessential sunscreen, to all of your shaving essentials; pre-shave oil, shaving foam, shaving brush, razor - make sure you have everything that you need before you hit the beach.
  21. Religious lifters are always looking to get big. It's not just their bench and deadlift numbers that will give them the content of getting good results. They will always chase that size in their muscles as well. via GIPHY If you are one such lifter and are looking to grow some size and look more muscular than before, here are a few strategies that you should implement to achieve that look: 1. Up Your Carb Intake via GIPHY If you've spoken to a competitive bodybuilder, you would know that they all play around with their carb intake near their competition date. They do this to look their absolute best on stage when they are competing. When you eat enough carbs, your muscles get enough glycogen and they are able to bind more water molecule in them to look bigger and bulkier. This strategy works best when you are already carb depleted. However, even if presently you were not consuming enough carb in your diet, try to increase it a bit and see the difference by yourself. Carb sources should be a combination of simple and complex carbs in which complex carbs like sweet potato and oats should be dominant. 2. Stay Hydrated via GIPHY Majority of us think that we drink enough water during our normal routine; however, the truth is that only 15% of the total population actually drinks enough water according to their hydration needs. People who workout need to consume more water as they lose water during their workout. If you do not replenish your hydration level, your muscles will look flat. Try consuming more water even for a day than what you are consuming right now and you would start seeing the difference. Your muscles will look round and full. 3. Take The Right Supplements via GIPHY Though its generally the pre-workouts that promise you that insane pumps and big muscles, but it's creatine monohydrate that can deliver this for you. Creatine Monohydrate is the supplement that every 'natty' guy out there should include in his supplement arsenal. In fact, if you can afford even a single supplement out there; creatine monohydrate should be your choice. The results of creatine monohydrate are totally visible. Though it won't show you the results in a couple of days, yes, a few weeks on creatine and it will be a game changer for you. Creatine Monohydrate will give you that full muscular look that you have always been looking for. 4. Ample Rest via GIPHY Another way to look bigger in a very short period is to give proper rest to your body. Majority of the time people only concentrate on their workouts and compromise on their rest period which includes getting less sleep time. When you sleep less, your muscles don't recover properly and they look flat. Get good sleep of around 8 to 9 hours and you'll notice the difference in your muscles. Fully recovered muscles look more round and full. Anuj Tyagi, author of this article, is a Certified Sports Nutritionist and Therapeutic Exercise Specialist from American Council on Exercise (ACE). 22. The latest tiny teaser of the final season of 'Game Of Thrones' dropped on us casually last evening. It had no characters running on the screen, no fire, no dragons; but yet, it has left everyone scared and boggled with a few questions. Now some of us GOT fans have probably read through the lines and seen the unseen and some of you out there probably are getting excited for the final season to just dawn upon us. Anyway, if you still are looking for any clues, allow us to help. Here's a detailed analysis of what the trailer probably wants us to fathom: There's a dragon glass that we spot in there which is the only tool that can possibly help a human take on a White Walker, so you know the epic battle is going to be gruesome. © HBO Around 10 seconds into the trailer, you'll spot the tiny 'hand of the King' which we all know belongs to Tyrion. So something has happened to him, or maybe not? © HBO We also spot Arya and Bran's sword and wheelchair frozen in time and in snow, so clearly more destruction is in store. © HBO The scary part is when you see Jamie's hand frozen and just casually lying there. We'll be sad to see him dead, TBH. © HBO Also, towards the end of the teaser when we see this scene with the sword, you can see a shadow forming around it, and a lot of Reddit users believe that it's the Night King himself. © HBO Well, until now, we have been programmed to believe that this guy is the ultimate enemy of the world right there. However, the poor guy might have some backstory which led to his doom and now why he'd pledged he just wants an army of dead people. This teaser sure turned our beloved Winterfell into a Wintehell actually but the whys and the hows will only be answered in 10 days now.
  23. If you've ever found yourself in a situation where no matter how hard you try, your pictures end up looking greasy and oily, here's how you can fix it. Being excessively oily or greasy in the Summer heat is super normal however: 1. Have You Heard About A Mattifying Moisturizer? © Getty Images Moisturizers can sometimes make you sweat like if the product is dense, heavy, and oily, it's going to make the greasy situation worse. Instead, a lightweight, fast-absorbing moisturizer allows the pores to breathe easily. 2. Or Switch To A Face Oil Instead Of A Moisturizer © Getty Images A face oil might absorb the skin residue lightly and quickly and your skin in turn produces less oil because it registers the oily levels of the skin as sufficient. Essential oils like squalene, rose hip oil and sea buckthorn oil help moisturize the face. 3. Get Acquainted With A Toner © Getty Images Skin toners have ingredients like witch hazel that attempt to reduce oil production in the skin without drying it out (avoid alcohol-based astringents). 4. Keep A Few Face Wipes Handy © Getty Images Oil builds up throughout the day but if you're in a situation where you're in no position to wash your face, it's always helpful to stock up on refreshing, skin-toning face wipes that absorb excess grime and oil, while invigorating the face at the same time. 5. Do A Weekly Mud Mask © Getty Images The clay or mud in any mask will soak all impurities and gunk from the pores, preventing breakouts and reducing shine. Blue Lagoon's Silica Mud Mask takes ingredients from the famed geothermal waters of Iceland to shrink pores, absorb grease, and give you a reset. Don't do it more than once a week, though, because your skin can in turn dry out. You need some oil in there to keep yourself hydrated. A weekly deep clean will do you go, so long as you follow with a cleanser and moisturizer.

We even got to play with the Huawei Mate X and you can check out our hands-on experience here. Xiaomi, on the other hand, has a unique take on a foldable smartphone which is quite different from the other two companies. © Xiaomi We now get a closer look at the smartphone thanks to a 10-second video posted on Weibo. The video shows off the smartphone folding twice to turn a tablet into a smartphone that fits perfectly in the hand. The device folds both sides of the screen to turn it into a smartphone. We also get to see how navigation gestures work on the device as one can simply swipe-to-left to go back. The video also shows that the device currently does not have portrait mode when in tablet mode. It's probably because the software is still in the testing phase and may be ironed out for the final launch device. © Xiaomi The teaser suggests that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the smartphone sometime in Q2 and is expected to be considerably cheaper than the Galaxy Fold and the Mate X. Reports suggest that the smartphone will cost somewhere around $1,000 which is significantly cheaper than Samsung and Huawei's price tag. If you want to see the smartphone in action for yourself, have a look at the short video below:
