ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsFor a man who was left to fill in the void left by Antonio Conte's departure, Maurizio Sarri joined Chelsea last July with a promise and the hope for better and more exciting things for the London-based club. While there were some signs of improvement for the Blues, Sarri's brief term now faces the imminent threat of a sad end. The Blues are currently languishing at the sixth spot with just 15 wins in 26 Premier League games so far. And, their recent loss in the Carabao Cup final, which was eventually won by Manchester City on penalties, has further worsened the situation for the former Napoli manager. If bottling an opportunity to win the Carabao Cup affected Sarri's chances of staying in-charge at Stamford Bridge, his farcical incident involving goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga further highlighted the problems for the Chelsea boss. This could very well be Kepa's last game at Chelsea or the start of a legendary keeper if he wins this for Chelsea, although it doesn't look like Sarri would forgive him either way. Childish act to say the least. pic.twitter.com/RBAHx4OeNy — Mootaz Chehade (@MHChehade) February 24, 2019 The extra-time "misunderstanding" between Sarri and Kepa that saw the Chelsea goalkeeper defying his manager to come off the ground, has been the talk of the town. But, labelling it as a mere miscommunication, both Sarri and Kepa have denied any rift between them. However, Chelsea's latest decision to fine the former Athletic Bilbao goalie a week's wages highlights that the incident was much more than just a "misunderstanding" between the duo. © Reuters Earlier, speaking on Sunday's theatrics, Kepa had said: "Although there was a misunderstanding, on reflection, I made a big mistake with how I handled the situation. I wanted to take the time today to apologise fully and in person to the coach, to Willy, my team-mates and to the club. I will learn from this episode and will accept any punishment or discipline the club decides is appropriate". On the other hand, Sarri, too, had dismissed the incident following their loss to City. "Kepa and I have spoken about the incident. It was a good conversation. There was a misunderstanding yesterday but he realises he made a big mistake in the way he reacted," Sarri said. "He has apologised to me, his team-mates and the club. It is up to the club if they want to discipline him according to the club rules, but for me, this matter is now closed," he added.
Say whatever you want about her. Her violent ways. Her crazy mind. Her absolute lack of sympathy and most of all, her inexplicable relationship with the diabolical Joker…we love Harley Quinn. via GIPHY Well, I don't know about you, but she was definitely my favourite in 'Suicide Squad' (Deadshot was a close second). How can you not be in awe of her? The pure badassery and savagery that's hidden under a mask of blue and red make up and pigtails. via GIPHY Also, a lot of my male friends loved her for entirely different reasons and, well, I can't blame them. She was the definition of crazy hot. via GIPHY And for those of us who've missed our beloved maniac, good news is here. She's back. via GIPHY The simply gorgeous Margot Robbie, who plays Harley, has revealed a new look of her iconic character, from the upcoming superhero flick 'Birds of Prey (and the fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)', and boy, are we loving it. Robbie took to Instagram to share Quinn's makeover with the caption “miss me? HQ”, and, obviously, the post has gone viral. View this post on Instagram Miss me? ðHQ A post shared by @ margotrobbie on Jan 28, 2019 at 5:00am PST The short teaser which is titled “See You Soon” shows us glimpses of all the characters in their awesome costumes, and that's when we see Harley, happily twirling about in her new look, however, still retaining her baseball batt and tattoos. via GIPHY She does look much happier here, though, right? I mean, the last time we saw her, she was being busted out of prison by her 'puddin', so, safe to say, she has all the reasons to looks particularly gleeful right now. via GIPHY Is she still with the Joker? Or has she completely severed all ties with him, which is why she is looking so cheerful? Or is she just being plain nuts? via GIPHY According to IMDB, “after splitting up with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins three female superheroes - Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya - to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord. via GIPHY Well, if I am being stereotypically cliché here, one does go through a complete image overhaul after a breakup, so, I kinda get Harley for her makeover and honestly, I am digging the shorter hair and neon pink outfit. Not that I had a problem with her old look….I mean, who in their right mind would have one?? via GIPHY In this film, which is the eighth DC instalment, Robbie is joined by castmates Ewan McGregor, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, and Ella Jay Basco. Goes without saying that fans on social media lost it (still losing it) and gave a standing ovation to Harley's new look. ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online News“Tennis is mostly mental. You win or lose the match before even going on the court,” this quote right here is by none other than the great Venus Williams. But now, just imagine, you're in the fifth set, sweating it out in the super tie break. You're leading by a good margin, and suddenly your right (in) ball is called out. You challenge it, it shows it's in, but instead of giving you the point or calling for a re-point, chair umpire hands over the point to your opponent. Which means you not only lose the point but the challenge also. How would you feel at that point? Devastated, right? Something similar happened in the 4th round tie of the Australian Open. The match was played between 8th seed Kei Nishikori and 24th seed Pablo Carreno Busta. Despite losing two sets in the match, Nishikori managed to pull off the next two and take the game to the fifth set. Nishikori, who eventually won 6-7 (8), 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (8), was trailing 8-5 in the super tiebreaker when a moot call changed the momentum and awaken the outrageous Carreno Busta. © AP The shot of the Spaniard clipped the net, and Nishikori reset to hit a backhand down the line after the ball landed near the doubles alley. A line judge called it out as Nishikori hit the ball down the line. The moment the ball was called out, Busta went for the challenge and was nowhere close to playing the ball. He challenged the decision, and the Hawk-Eye showed the ball hitting the line. Despite all the odds being on Busta's side, the point remained with Nishikori. It might be easy to play tennis but the fifth set is not just about tennis, it's also about the sheer nerves. More often than not, the player who's able to remain calm and composed, ends up coming out on top. And that's exactly what happened here. After that point, Carreno lost the next three points and Nishikori sealed the match with an ace. © AP After shaking hands with Nishikori, Carreno threw his bag into the court before collecting it and yelling at the chair umpire as he left the arena. We haven't seen the Spaniard losing his grip earlier, but here his emotions got better of him. Later in the post-match press conference, Carreno Busta apologised for his behaviour with tears in his eyes.
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsFor a man who lurked in the shadows of prominent stars for the better part of his playing career, Aakash Chopra still had a fairly decent run in the domestic circuit. Playing for Delhi, he scored 783 runs in the 2007-08 season to guide his team to the Ranji Trophy title. The same season saw him scoring 310 runs and playing a pivotal role in North Zone's title-winning campaign in the Duleep Trophy. Post-retirement, Chopra began his second innings in cricket and quickly became one of the most highly sought after commentators and analysts of the game. Thanks to his know-how of the game, the 40-year-old has struck a chord with Indian fans, who have been ardent followers of the former Delhi cricketer on social media. © BCCL He is one of those rare individuals, who has the capability of influencing the minds of fans and drawing a reaction, something that many can only dream of. A similar incident came to the fore recently, when Chopra shared a photograph of what looked like a restaurant bill on social media. Paid nearly 7 Lac for a meal ðð¤£ðð Welcome to Indonesia ð®ð©ð pic.twitter.com/LYySPXPN3c — Aakash Chopra (@cricketaakash) July 15, 2018 While the food items - which mainly included Indian vegetarian dishes - appeared in order, it was the total amount of the bill that left everyone scratching their heads. The former Indian cricketer apparently paid close to 7 lakh for what looked like an ordinary meal in Indonesia. "Paid nearly 7 Lac for a meal. Welcome to Indonesia," he tweeted. Known for his wit and humour, Chopra was trying to poke fun at his fans by claiming that he paid 7 lakh for a meal. But, in reality, he paid 7 lakh Indonesian rupiah, which translates to around Rs 3,300. While some fans came up with witty replies, others trolled the Indian commentator for his post. Translates to approx. 3500 in Indian rupees :) — Navneet Mundhra (@navneet_mundhra) July 15, 2018 How cheap is this even not a engineer get 7 lakh per annum — Suraj Mishra (@SurajMi51087850) July 15, 2018 Akash bhai sorry to say....but this post not suitable to u bcz u r always been a good analyst...
