  1. A user took to a South Korean website, to post images of his Galaxy S10 5G model that allegedly ignited and exploded. Based on a rough translation, the user took his damaged phone to the service centre but was denied an exchange or a refund for his damaged phone. These images below clearly show how much damage the Galaxy S10 sustained from the fire. © Naver When the device caught fire in his hand, the user threw away the smartphone which resulted in further damage on the phone, according to the forum post. This is not the first time a Samsung Galaxy smartphone has suffered an issue where it would explode. Three years ago, the Galaxy Note 7 suffered a similar fate due to a faulty battery or due to packing the battery with no extra room. Samsung has commented on this incident with a statement: © Naver "We conducted various tests, including X-rays, on the product. The analysis confirmed that there were strong marks of stamping. The strong shock damaged the battery, causing the fire. There are no defects in the product.” It is worthy to note that this may have been caused due to the user's error as there is evidence of physical damage. There is no way to verify whether the user is telling the truth or whether it was caused because of prior physical damage. Source: naver.com
  2. Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series, as we all know, is one of the very few games that uses real places as the settings for its stories. Say what you will about the games and their story lines, but there's no denying that the developers go all in when it comes to recreations of the real world locations. The 'Assassin's Creed: Unity', on the same lines, features a replica of Notre Dame cathedral, that's currently under the spotlight due to the deadly fire accident. Guess what? The 3D replica of Notre Dame shown featured in the game is so incredibly detailed that it could potentially help the architects rebuild the cathedral to its original glory. © Ubisoft Notre Dame was one of the most important landmarks in the game. As a protagonist, you could literally climb and parkour all over it. Heck, the game also lets you go inside the cathedral and explore it as much as you want. If you've played the game, then you know for a fact that Ubisoft did an amazing job. It is, however, worth pointing out the 3D replica of Notre Dame shown in the game is not entirely accurate. The spires in real-life, for instance, were added after the events of the game. Even a majority of the artwork hanging from the walls of the church are protected by copyright, which means the ones shown in the game are slightly different. Nonetheless, the ability to get up-close and explore a detailed version of both inside and outside of the cathedral could prove very useful to architects during the restoration work.
  3. Nyle DiMarco is the sort of person who has never let his disability hamper his life journey. The biggest proof of that? When the producers of 'America's Next Top Model' approached him, they had no idea that he is deaf. Nyle ended up being the only deaf person ever to have won the coveted contest in 2015, which is one of the toughest modelling contests in the world. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Nyle DiMarco (@nyledimarco) on Apr 11, 2018 at 9:47am PDT Not only is he super accomplished as a model, but he is also a gifted dancer - the kind who went on to win 'Dancing With The Stars' the very next year, despite not being able to hear music, the mainstream way. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Nyle DiMarco (@nyledimarco) on May 24, 2016 at 9:21pm PDT Nyle has a degree in Mathematics as well. Though he uses sign language to communicate, he is fluent in written English. He also uses lip reading and non-verbal communication in his daily life. 4. After weeks of teasers, Tesla has finally shown the public its new Model Y crossover vehicle at the Tesla Design Studio in Hawthorne, California. The vehicle is based on the core design of the Model 3 sedan, but with a larger body, and a third row, for seating for up to 7 people. It's technically a crossover that has a tall body sitting on a basic car platform. Elon Musk had previously confirmed that Tesla's baby SUV will share up to 75 percent of its components with the recently-launched Model 3 saloon, including the platform. © Tesla “It has the functionality of an SUV, but it will ride like a sports car,” Musk said. “So this thing will be really tight on corners,” Tesla says it has a drag coefficient of 0.23, making it more streamlined than a Toyota Prius. This, in turn, helps in increasing efficiency. Musk devoted only five minutes of his 34-minute presentation to the new SUV. He spent the rest of the time recounting Tesla's rise and recent history. © Twitter / @sokane1 Most of the Model Y's interior is lifted from Model 3. Features include a minimalist dashboard devoid of physical buttons, a panoramic glass roof, a wireless smartphone charger, and an enormous 15-inch centre-mounted infotainment screen. The popular "Falcon Wing" doors of the Model X have been skipped though, our guess is to keep costs low. The base Model Y ("Standard Range") starts at US$ 39,000 (Rs 26,95,000), accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds, and can travel 230 miles (370 km) on a single charge. It will be the last version available, starting deliveries in spring 2021. © Tesla The Long Range model starts at US$ 47,000 (Rs 32,48,000) and can go up to 300 miles (482 km) on a single charge. The Dual Motor AWD variant will cost US$ 51,000 (Rs 35,24,000) and travel 280 miles (450 km). Lastly, the Performance option starts at US$ 60,000 (Rs 41,46,000) and can go from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds with a range of 280 miles (450 km). Delivery of the three shall start from the fall of 2020. © Tesla Customers increasingly want taller vehicles that are easier to get in and out of and offer flexible storage. The Model Y gets a panoramic sunroof, 66 cubic feet of storage space and a third row for seating up to seven passengers. Musk also expects the car to get a 5-star crash rating and high safety marks, making it the safest mid-sized SUV till date. According to Tesla, the Model Y is compatible with the company's current Supercharger network of more than 12,000 Superchargers in 36 countries, as well as our new V3 Superchargers which can charge at rates up to 1,000 miles per hour.
  5. If you're the kind of person who loves to pose and show off your #IWokeUpLikeThis face to the rest of the world, or the kind of person who just loves pouting #ForTheGram, you definitely need to hear this. Tyra Banks is all set to open Modelland, a 21,000-square-foot ticketed theme park at the Santa Monica shopping mall in 2019. The theme park comes straight out of her 2010 novel, 'Modelland' about her experiences in the modelling industry. Now she wants to share those experiences and make them accessible to everyone in a more tangible way. "Now with Modelland, I'm taking it 10 steps forward, giving people the opportunity to engage with the elusive world by opening it up to everyone, Men, women, families, all generations can come and enter this modelworld for a day, have a fun shopping experience, and an eventful meal. This will be the first of many.” Banks said in an interview with WWD. According to the WWD interview, this park is going to have: interactive entertainment around the modelling experience, curated retail which means a lot to shop, user-generated content that can be shared like new ways to pose, a place where visitors can “be the dream version of themselves” and clothing designed by Hollywood costume designers that you can wear. Sounds like a dream right?
  6. The one thing that every skinny dude at the gym wants is to gain muscle and look like a fitness model. When they ask their gym trainers on how they can achieve that look, most of these desi trainers say: "Eat more protein and train for hours." "Go heavy weight and low reps to gain muscle." "Take steroids." Sadly, that is what their advice is limited to. Take drugs. Instead, follow these five tips that will help you get that look you've always wanted: 1) Eat In A Calorie Surplus Eat more calories than you burn on a regular basis. When you consume more calories than your maintenance, it results in weight gain. The usual goal in a surplus is to make sure that weight gain is mostly muscle. Start with a moderate calorie surplus of 200 to 400 calories and eat adequate protein which is ~1.8 to 2.2g/kg of body weight. © YouTube 2) Start At A Low Body Fat A big-time myth which comes from desi gym trainers is - You can convert body fat into new muscle tissue. Well, you can't. It is utter nonsense. The ideal body fat range to start your bulking phase is at 8-10% and goes up to 15 to 18% 3) Get Stronger Resistance Training (RT) is the driver of muscle growth, nutrition simply augments the process. Resistance Training (RT) places the musculoskeletal system under stress of mechanical tension – biomechanical tension placed on muscle via resistance. This stress disrupts homeostasis and signals a host of adaptation processes to occur and intake the pathways for anabolic signalling. Training volume determines the magnitude of hypertrophic (more gains) adaptations. Training volume = total amount of work (sets x reps x load) More adapted volume= more gains. © Pixabay 4) Sleep Recovery is as important as food and training. Research studies have proved that testosterone, which is the prime hormonal driver to gain muscle is elevated by 15-35% with of proper sound sleep over time. Sleep at least 8 hours every day. 5) Do Short Fat Loss Phases Between Your Gaining Phase Implementing a short 3-6 weeks of fat loss phase between your gaining phase can be a helpful strategy to cut some body fat. I suggest implementing this strategy after 10-12 weeks of gaining if needed. So get on with this and see yourself making some gains in the gym. 7. The internet is flooded with beauty tips and tricks for women, but what about for guys? Don't fret, we've got you covered. Most women desire men with well groomed and healthy skin. So, if your skin-care routine consists of simply splashing your face with water and get going, then you are in dire need of an upgrade. Here are 5 skin-care tips for men to make sure you always stay on top of your game: 1. Don't Skip The Sunscreen © sheknows Wait, you didn't know? Now that it's winter your skin needs UV protection more than ever. Facts. The sun's UV rays are still hitting your skin, no matter what the season is. Not using sunscreen regularly can damage and age your skin much faster, causing it to wrinkle. The key is to reapply often if you're outside playing sports. 2. Cleansing Your Face Is Key © thecheatsheet A cleansing routine is as necessary for men as it is for women. Your skin is exposed to pollution, dirt and sweat and other pollutants every day. Prep your skin by toning with some rose water that's commonly available. A good cleanser can heal your skin and get rid of oil and dead cells, making it glow. 3. Prevent Your Lips From Wrinkles © thecheatsheet It's important for you to know that lips age with time. Have a close look in the mirror and you'll be able to notice the fine lines. Your lips need as much hydration as possible, especially during the chilly winter months. Use a high SPF lip-balm or petroleum jelly to prevent them from chapping and drying. 4. Choose Right Products For Your Skin Type © netpics Consult a dermatologist to find out what skin type are you amongst oily, dry and combination skin. Look for organic and natural products that suit your skin type. As men have harder and thicker skin than women, it is preferable to use products directed at men's skin types. 5. Exfoliation Is Vital © thecheatsheet Exfoliation not only eliminates dead cells and tissue and blackheads, but it also ensures healthy circulation in the skin. Purchase a cream or gel-based face-scrub depending upon your skin's needs and you will be blessed with healthy-looking skin. Well exfoliated skin also serves as a smooth canvas to get a close, clean shave. Adapt these daily habits into your routine to ensure your skin looks young and stays healthy. You can thank me later.

  9. Arguably one of the best batsmen in modern-day cricket, Virat Kohli has been busy terrorising opposition bowlers and shattering batting records across the globe. For a man who currently seems to be in the form of his life, Kohli recently notched up another iconic milestone when he became the fastest to reach 10,000 ODI runs. While a lot of batsmen have already begun following Kohli's training and code of ethics to hone their own skills, only a few can actually boast of beating the Delhi batsman to set a new batting record - something Pakistan's Babar Azam managed to achieve recently. ICYMI: Babar Azam broke Virat Kohli's record to become the fastest to 1000 T20I runs https://t.co/qBMhTxk17w pic.twitter.com/INplhnlaF1 — ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) November 5, 2018 During the third and final T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand in Dubai, the right-hander became the fastest player to reach 1,000 runs in T20Is. The Pakistani batsman achieved the feat in the 12th over when he punched the ball to the outfield for a single. Azam brought up his 1,000 T20I runs in a mere 26 innings, one knock quicker than Kohli, who held the record previously. If his recent batting performances saw him become a fan-favourite, Azam's adulation for his role model Kohli won him more respect. After Pakistan's emphatic win, Azam said: "Virat Kohli is my role model and I always try to follow his style of batting. The best thing about Kohli is the confidence with which he comes on the crease. He has hunger (for runs) and starts his every innings as if he achieved nothing in the innings before". ð½ï¸ @babarazam258 interview on reaching 1000 T20I runshttps://t.co/Cez4IikGUx — PCB Official (@TheRealPCB) November 5, 2018 This was not for the first time Azam has spoken about Kohli's role in his game. “I do not just copy Virat Kohli, but I really follow him. I dream of becoming like him. Some people compare me with Virat, while there's no comparison as I am just in the beginning. I feel that I cannot be just like him, but it can be closer to his instinct of playing,” Azam once had said in an interview. Opting to bat, Pakistan lost opener Fakhar Zaman (11) early on after Lockie Ferguson struck for New Zealand. But, despite losing his opening partner, Azam held the fort for his side with a match-winning knock of 79 runs. He was also part of the pivotal 94-run partnership with Mohammad Hafeez (53*) for the second wicket that allowed Pakistan to post a competitive total of 166 runs. 17th win in 2018 ðð¼ 11th consecutive series win ð Champions ð#PAKvNZ pic.twitter.com/6Oyv4AQapA — PCB Official (@TheRealPCB) November 4, 2018 In reply, the Kiwis suffered a massive batting collapse as they lost their last eight wickets for a mere 23 runs. Skipper Kane Williamson (60) tried to keep his side in the hunt, but Shadab Khan (3-30), Imad Wasim (2-28) and Waqas Maqsood (2-21) all combined together to eke out a 47-run win for Pakistan. Having won the first T20I by two runs and the second by six wickets, Pakistan had already wrapped up the three-match series. But, while many would have expected the Kiwis to put up a fight in the final T20I, Williamson and his men once again left everyone disappointed with an ordinary display in the batting department.
  10. With 'Bigg Boss' back with its 12th edition, suddenly we have something to look forward to for our daily dosage of entertainment. It has just been 3 days and we already have people around us talking about the BB house, its inmates and brewing fights and we're loving the simmering drama. The Vichitra Jodis this season are indeed vichitra and we can totally see why was this theme was chosen in the first place. Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu have been making headlines ever since they confessed about their relationship on the show. However, we also revealed that they are not really in a relationship and everything was planned by the BB makers. Day 1 and 2 was all about people raising questions about their so-called relationship and things took a twist, when in an unaired clip, Jasleen was seen picking a single bed instead of sharing one with Anup. This left the popular bhajan singer surprised as well. View this post on Instagram Jasleen Matharu In Big Boss 12....ð A post shared by Jasleen Matharuð¤ð¸ðµ (@jasleenmatharu) on Sep 17, 2018 at 12:47am PDT He said, “ Toh main door hogaya, hum khule main soenge.” To which Jasleen quickly retorted, “Toh aap kahan pe ho abhi? Aap ek kaam karo, wait karo, aapko partner mil jaega koi.” Woah! Isn't that something? We just can't wait to watch and see how will the inmates react to this particular development? While Jasleen did tackle all the questions about her relationship with the singer quite well during the first 'Bigg Boss' task, things seem to be taking a different turn now. © ColorsTV And if you thought that was all, wait till you read the next big development where Jalota has been accused of casting couch. View this post on Instagram Happyyyyy Birthdayyyyy to my most favourite pyaare pyaare Anup Jalota ji @jalotaanup â¤â¤â¤â¤ A post shared by Jasleen Matharuð¤ð¸ðµ (@jasleenmatharu) on Jul 28, 2018 at 10:42pm PDT An Israeli model named Reena Gonal has accused him of casting coach, reported Jansatta. In 2011, she wrote a book named 'Dear Mr Bollywood' where she took the names of popular figures like Anup Jalota, director Subhash Ghai and producer-director Anees Bazmee, alleging that they took advantage of her. © Colors Talking about her journey she mentioned how she came to India in 2009 and it was SRK who inspired her to become an actor. When things didn't work out the way she wanted, she decided to return home. However, she stayed when she got a job with a new vitamin company that was being launched. Reena started promoting the brand and wanted B-town influencers to be part of it. It was then when she met Anup. They met multiple times, and even though he never became a part of the vitamin brand, he did ask her to host his show, for which she was paid an amount of Rs. 10,000 per show. View this post on Instagram Riaz with @jalotaanup ji..Woh chup rahe toh mere dil ke daag jalte haiðµ A post shared by Jasleen Matharuð¤ð¸ðµ (@jasleenmatharu) on Jul 12, 2018 at 12:32am PDT Reena also narrated how Anup opened up to him about his sad marital past and proposed to her to be his wife. She even alleged that he forcefully kissed her. While Reena made her strong case in the book, the singer has flatly rubbished all charges. He agreed that they have worked together for three years but nothing as such ever happened. Things are certainly taking an interesting turn for Jalota and we can't wait to watch what else 'Bigg Boss 12' has in store for us.

  12. Actors are often blamed for charging a hefty fee for a movie. Some even blame that due to this, producers often make less profit or at times, end with up nothing. Khans in B-town often charge an exorbitant amount of some hundred crores and that is something which will never change. The bigger the star, the bigger is their fee. However, contrary to the ongoing canon, not many know that Aamir Khan has actually stopped charging a fee for his movies. Talking in a media interaction, Aamir revealed, “Actually I don't charge a fee. People don't know that, but it has been years since I have stopped charging a fee.” Wonder how he makes those big bucks then? © Twitter It all started when Shabana Azmi, who was sitting in the audience at the event, took the chance and asked him about stars demanding 80 per cent as their fee, and that how can one make a successful film with just 20 per cent left in hand. Quite a valid question we must say, got us thinking as well. To which Aamir explained, that his way of earning money is different. He doesn't charge a single penny until the makers have recovered all their costs of making of the film, including promotions to the producer's profit. © Twitter Revealing his model he said, if the film fails, he gets nothing and if it is successful, he has a higher profit share. The actor said he has always ensured that his producers earn money, as it helps secure his career and film choices. “I think the script is the foundation. I ensure that once I love the story and the film is in the making, people who are investing money should not face loss. I don't allow the producer to shoulder the responsibility alone. My first rupee comes to me when the film's cost is recovered in every aspect, after the producer's and everybody else's money is recovered. That's the model I work with, and I take a higher cut in the percentage because I am risking my time on that, and I think producers are happy with that too,” he added. © Twitter He firmly believes that this is the best model that works for his movie. Explaining further he said, “If a producer is not losing money, it is but obvious that he will sign me for the next film. That is why I always ensure that if I am signed in a film, there is no loss." The first time Aamir tried this model was in 2001 during the making of 'Lagaan'. “Since that film was one of the expensive films of that time, and was breaking a lot of rules of mainstream Indian cinema, that is why I felt the importance of taking the responsibility. When I come on board, producers and financiers do not question me on the subject I chose for a film because they trust me, they have faith in me. That is why I want to ensure the profit." © Twitter Now, that's not just an interesting but a very smart business model as well. Clearly, he is called 'Mr. Perfectionist' for a reason. He makes sure that making money is a win-win situation for both the actor, the maker and other people involved in the movie making. Sounds fair. On the work front, Aamir is busy with the work of his upcoming film 'Thugs of Hindostan'.
