  1. Actors transforming themselves to get into a particular character is nothing new, nor is making a biopic an unusual affair in Bollywood. But, what's new is how seriously Bollywood is taking its transformation game these days. In fact, with Anupam Kher as former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Bal Thackray, we've already seen what actors and filmmakers are capable of pulling off. 2. There used to be a time when Chungneijang Mary Kom Hmangte was a completely unknown name. Back in the day, with zero videos of her bouts online and not even a single news channel covering her progress, if you'd told her that one day, she is going to be ranked number 1 in the whole world by the International Boxing Federation (AIBA), she would have knocked you out cold with an uppercut for mocking her. #WWCHs2018 Finals - Light Fly (48kg)@MangteC (IND) defeats Mi Hyang Kim (PRK) and becomes 2018 AIBA World Champion!! Congratulations Mary ð¥ð¥ðª#AIBAFamily #ChampsBornHere @BFI_official pic.twitter.com/wlSLmbJHvB — AIBA (@AIBA_Boxing) November 24, 2018 When she was only 13, Mary knew that she wanted to become a professional boxer. Despite her soon-to-be coach Leishangthem Ibomcha Singh, who was responsible for bringing up around 50 international medal winners from within the state of Manipur, constantly challenging her, and her aspirations of becoming a pugilist, Mary, like any stubborn teenager, stuck to what she wanted. Living in an insurgency-bound Imphal, Mary's journey to success was full of constant terror and adversities. With endless reports of kidnappings, shootings and bombings ever since Manipur's merging with India, the idea of 'do whatever your heart says' wasn't exactly a number one priority for the people living there. In fact, the situation was so bad up there, that even Mary Kom's own father-in-law was murdered by the insurgents soon after she got married to Onler Kom in 2005. While there's no denying Mary Kom's hard work and raw passion for the sport that has taken her this far in life, it is Onler Kom, Mary's husband who has been her anchor during the experience. Full of compassion and regard for her wife, Onler has never backed out of supporting her dreams. “I knew her dreams and was ready to help her in every way," Onler told The Times of India. “I had my own dreams, but when I came to know her it changed… I married her for her simplicity and her willingness to become a successful sportswoman.” View this post on Instagram “A man's success is measured by what his wife and children say about him. With a lot of extra responsibilities on her shoulders as compared to any of her opponents along with the growing age, the 35-year-old, somehow, manages not only to take out time to train herself but also to train nearly 130 young and aspiring students at the Mary Kom Regional Boxing Foundation, an academy initiated by the boxer and her husband to inspire, motivate and train India's finest pugilists of all time. “This Boxing Academy is a reality of my dream of creating a Centre of excellence to produce the best boxing champions for India,” Mary Kom conveys her message on the website. Mary once said that there lies a story of struggle behind every medal that she's ever won. In her long, successful and inspirational career, the Arjuna and Padma Shri awardee has made and broken various records whilst becoming the most successful boxer in the history of Women's World Championships by winning a record 6th gold medal last year. Recently ranked Number One in the world, Mary Kom has no intentions of throwing in the towel just yet as she has already begun preparing for Tokyo Olympics 2020.

  4. If you have been on the internet today, then you've surely seen the 'Gully Boy' teaser, or as the makers put it, the 'Gully Boy' trailer announcement, because that's literally the only thing that people have been talking about today. Moreover, it was a rare occasion on Twitter where everyone had just positive things to say about it. Well, we already know that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are damn good actors and if a tiny one-and-a-half-minute trailer announcement looks so promising, we know for a fact that the movie is going to be incredible as well, and it's good to see that everyone agrees. From unending praises for Ranveer and Alia to people thanking Ranveer for taking on the role so that Farhan Akhtar wasn't the one rapping instead, people can't stop talking about 'Gully Boy'. 5. It was back in 2008 when India first discovered a whole new side of director and screenwriter Farhan Akhtar. We witnessed the man charm his way to the silver screen so effortlessly, in the musical drama 'Rock On!!', which became a stellar hit at the box office! The movie went on to become Farhan's first official stint in front of the camera, after having spent close to two decades behind it, first as an assistant director and then with his directorial debut in 2001 with 'Dil Chahta Hai'. View this post on Instagram #thefakirofvenice Coming Soon ð #FarhanAkhtar ð A post shared by Bollyworld (@bolllywood_lovers) on Mar 21, 2017 at 8:15am PDT But did you know that 'Rock On!!' wasn't even supposed to be Farhan's debut movie? Yes, you read that right. Even before 'Rock On!!' hit the screens, Farhan had already made his acting debut with 'The Fakir of Venice', but unfortunately the movie never saw the light of the day. But worry not, no missed trains here! If you love the dude and his fresh and relatable acting skills, you would be delighted to know that the movie is finally set to release this year! After all the great movies he sent our way, be it 'Rock On', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', 'Dil Dhadakne Do, 'Rock On 2' or 'Lucknow Central' besides many others, we can't wait to see how it all started. © October films Now, with the movie's release, Farhan's fans might finally get their chance. But that's not all, we bring you 5 things that you need to know about the movie, so you can prepare yourself for what's coming your way. 1. The movie stars Farhan Akhtar and Annu Kapoor in lead roles. While the music has been given by none other than A. R. Rahman, it is slated to release on 18th January. 2. In an interview with IANS, director Anand Surapur said that the initial release was delayed because of production issues. © October Films 3. The movie is based on human behaviour, and traces how humans behave and react to various situations in life, based on their needs and goals. 4. The plot of the film revolves around a con act involving two Indian men, who wish to make some quick bucks, and travel to Venice for the purpose. Farhan's character is that of a man who has been hired to find a Fakir, who will bury himself in sand for an installation project. On the other hand, Annu Kapoor plays the role of fascinating slum dweller-turned-Fakir. The trailer of the movie has just hit the floor, and going by it, we can easily claim that the theme of the movie remains topical even today, though it was made almost a decade ago. The trailer holds a lot of promise, and suggests that we are in for yet another entertaining ride with Farhan. Check out the trailer here:
  6. Two years ago I did a story on how video games are much larger than movies/TV shows because of its flexibility in storytelling. I've been playing choice-based games ever since it was introduced to video games and the popular storytelling style was taken mainstream thanks to games from studios like “Telltale Games”. You would have to make choices that would change the plot of the story drastically and it seems like Netflix took my challenge seriously. © Mensxp Netflix is now taking the interactive-based storytelling style to mainstreams shows like “Black Mirror” and it works like a charm. The streaming giant already introduced the interactive feature to kids content like 'Puss In Boots'. I was invited to Los Gatos to check out 'Bandersnatch' - a brand new Black Mirror movie where I could choose my own story by clicking on multiple-choice questions that would affect the plot. It's Netflix's first interactive content for adults and is now available to stream/play on various devices. 'Bandersnatch' is a story about a game developer who is looking to make a video based on a “create-your-own fantasy” book of the same name. The game he sets out to develop also happens to have a series of choices for players. We learn during the early chapter that the author of the original 'Bandersnatch' went completely nuts while he was writing his book and ended up killing his wife. You will face a similar dilemma when you make choices for “Stefan” in Bandersnatch. © Netflix One of the key moments in 'Bandersnatch' is when Stefan is offered a job and it's up to you whether you want to accept or decline the offer. While exchanging notes with my peers at the conference, it was quite cool to notice that 90% of the people answered “Yes” while I declined the job offer. This is where the interactive storytelling feature makes things exciting. Not only did I experience a completely different story from my counterparts, I even experienced a very different ending. Apparently, there are five different endings in 'Bandersnatch' and I happened to experience three of them. © Netflix What's cool about the interactive feature is the ability to go back and change your choices. In fact, I ended up spending more time retracing my choices simply because I wanted to see if I could break the plot — I couldn't. That's probably because they're over a million if not a trillion unique permutations of the story. There are a plethora of choices you will need to make that can impact the story or sometimes just change certain details. The overall plot of 'Bandersnatch' also responds and adapts to your choices just like you would experience it in video games. For instance, in the very beginning, you will choose what cereal to eat for breakfast. You will notice later in the movie how the plot responded to your choice. How Did Netflix Make It Happen Choice-based video games are easier to make as these games are coded from the ground up to provide an ecosystem for such a feature to flourish. The same cannot be said about a live-action movie as it's way more complicated. You need to shoot multiple scenes from different angles, shoot different reactions to choices and make sure you follow every permutation with utmost accuracy. Netflix engineers built their very own script-writing tool that enables them to tell choice-based narratives. Netflix calls it a Branch Manager where there were able to track every choice and the flow of the narrative based on each choice. Netflix also pre-caches content so that users can stream the content even with poor internet and the app now pre-caches two paths every time you are faced with a choice. Due to this very reason, the interactive episode can be experienced only on supported devices such as Android smartphones, iOS devices, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and certified Smart TVs. Is It Still Black Mirror? © Netflix Hell yes! Just like every other Black Mirror episode — 'Bandersnatch' ends up f*cking with your head as well. However, since you are making the choices for the protagonist, the head-f*cking is a lot more amplified. This is precisely why the interactive feature was a perfect fit for a Black Mirror movie. I have to confess, when I was introduced to the feature at the conference, I quickly dismissed it as a Telltale rip-off/gimmick. However, after experiencing the interactive movie for myself, I could not keep the remote down and make every choice possible to f*ck up Stefan's life. I soon realised what went behind in the making of 'Bandersnatch' and simply left the room with endless questions in my head. So yes, 'Bandersnatch' is a typical Black Mirror episode where you will be left in a state of shock and maybe even remorse. Is This The Future Of Entertainment? Streaming has already taken over our lives and Netflix is going in the right direction by involving its viewers in the plot of 'Bandersnatch'. It's a feature I always wanted on live-action content and Netflix has yet again proved me wrong. Sure, there's still room for traditional linear story-telling on Netflix, but the future of story-telling sure has taken a turn, thanks to 'Bandersnatch'. Just make sure you don't lose your remote while watching/experiencing the latest Black Mirror movie.
  7. The trailer of Sonam and Anil Kapoor's upcoming movie 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' is finally out and it is absolutely nothing like how we expected it to be. In fact, it is better than that. Before we dissect the whole trailer, let's watch it first. So the trailer initially makes you think that okay, another Punjabi 'kudi' and her family trying to push her into a matrimonial alliance. There is also the classic 'Gur Naal Ishq Mitha' song to make you believe it is another quintessential romantic movie. Towards the end of the trailer it finally hits you that it actually is the most unexpected romance of the year! This is the fresh, beautiful, same-*** love story that our country, and our society needed right now. © Vinod Chopra films The movie follows the thought trail of #letlovebe and that's exactly what we love about the trailer. 9. If you loved the mental madness of 'Get Out' and you're a fan of the brilliant mind called Jordan Peele, then you'll be happy to know that his next movie is coming soon and it is a horror movie. The trailer of 'Us' dropped as a Christmas present for movie buffs and needless to say, it is the best gift for us, literally! The plot involves a family having a chill time at their beach residence when things go weird as they see some uninvited guests in the driveway. On a closer glance they realise they're a monstrous version of the family members themselves and this cloned family doppelgangers are lusting to kill the original family. © Blumhouse production The trailer looks interesting and manages to give us some jump scares as well. The movie stars Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke and is releasing in March 2019. Since Jordan Peele already took the Oscar home for 'Get Out', the expectations from this one are naturally super high.

  12. There is a different sort of charm attached to reel time couples who bring out the best in each other on-screen. We love to watch them in movies and often wish to have these flawless and endless equations they establish through each other whenever they're paired up together. 2018 saw some amazing chemistry between a lot of Bollywood couples on-screen and they definitely drew in a lot of inspiration for us to find what we're looking for. © Viacom 18 Motion Pictures Here are 5 on-screen 'jodis' that made a striking impact on Bollywood and of course made their way to our hearts! (1) Dhadak- Janhvi Kapoor & Ishaan Khattar The two made an awesome first time pair on-screen and stole the show, but unfortunately the movie missed the popularity mark and didn't do well. But that didn't stop the two from mesmerising the audience with their on-screen chemistry in an all out romantic film! Here's hoping we see more of them in the coming year. © Zee Studios (2) Andhadhun- Ayushmann Khurrana & Radhika Apte Even though there wasn't much of romance between the two, the chemistry was on-point. The love-hate relationship shown between the couple was beautifully displayed and the next time around we really want to see them in a full blown romantic movie, together! © Viacom 18 Motion Pictures (3) Manmarziyan- Vicky Kaushal & Tapsee Pannu It's been a good year for both Vicky Kaushal and Tapsee Pannu and even though they don't wind up together in the movie, their chemistry in the first half is class apart. They fit the role perfectly and when it comes to one another, they're spot on with their feelings and emotions. Another couple we'd like to see more of. © Eros International (4) Badhaai Ho- Ayushmann Khurrana & Sanya Malhotra The focus in the movie is not so much on Ayushmann and Sanya as it is on the main plot but the two of them carry out their character of being a steady couple and facing a few hiccups, very comfortably. The chemistry is just about right and they look mighty cute together. © AA Films (5) Sui Dhaaga- Varun Dhawan & Anushka Sharma The two come together for the first time to act out a responsible couple role, who start out their own clothing business somewhere in rural India. The equation between the two looks quite real as does the everyday mundane struggle they have to go through together as husband and a wife. The movie was quite endearing just like their on-screen chemistry. © Yash Raj Films Reel-life couples are as important as real life couples as they stay with us for a long time, whenever we do catch them together on-screen. They work hard to make the chemistry as real as possible and give us pertinent lessons in love and relationships. We wish to see more love happening on our screens next year but for now, let's celebrate love through these 5 reel-time couples.

  15. 'Black Mirror' is one of the best shows to have ever existed and I'm not even exaggerating. It's so brilliant and every episode is so well-made and very memorable. All the fans of the show always get a great Christmas present a few days after 25th in the form of new 'Black Mirror' episodes every year and it seems like we won't be disappointed this year as well. Just last week, I was looking up the season 5 release date and finally got an answer today. Netflix is finally giving up something related to the new season and the excitement is at an all-time high. There's one problem though, as instead of an entire season, we might just be getting one Black Mirror Netflix Original movie called 'Bandersnatch', at least according to the easter egg on Netflix right now. If you search for 'Black Mirror' on the site right now, the results look something like this - © Netflix I like how they used 'Be right back' instead of 'Coming soon' because the first one is the title of an old episode. We see you, 'Black Mirror', we see you. Just a week till 28th - the tentative release date - and we'll know for sure what all we're getting and what the episode will be about. It's not yet clear if it will be a standalone episode like 'White Christmas' or a part of the fifth season and include the 'choose your own adventure' narrative. Upon closer look, it's titled as 'A Netflix Film: Black Mirror - Bandersnatch' With the image consisting of other Black Mirror episodes, is this a feature film? Or something to do with those 'Choose Your Own Adventure' reports. pic.twitter.com/3k0MDYyJAf — Scott Bryan (@scottygb) December 20, 2018 Someone found the synopsis as well! finally! the synopsis of the black mirror movie (taken from a korea rating website) can we fast forward to next friday, please? pic.twitter.com/ZGMIG3txgq — ana (@bluesgrady) December 20, 2018 And, here's some more information about 'Bandersnatch'. Turns out there was an ill-fated game named 'Bandersnatch' developed by a UK studio back in 1984, which is the year 'Bandersnatch' the Black Mirror episode takes place (we know this because a set photo shows Bob Marley's 'Legend' at #1 on the charts in a record store). pic.twitter.com/rytyTl22sP — Ebejeevezner Scrooge âðððâï¸ (@jeeveswilliams) November 21, 2018
  16. Life is not a bed of roses for someone in love, and while people are ready to walk the extra mile for their lover, the gripping and tragic tale of Hamid Ansari's love story will give you an incredible perspective on just how much a human can possibly suffer in love. You have heard and probably read about the man who spent the last few years in Pakistan's jail, but what is his life story though? © Twitter Hamid was leading a normal life in India with his family when he met a girl on the internet. They connected and in no time, love blossomed between the two. They wanted to get married and Hamid was ready to commit with all his heart. His lover was from Pakistan and that did not deter his plans of uniting with her. Hamid then applied for a Visa to visit the country but while the wait took longer, his lover was being forced to marry someone else back home. Hamid met another guy online, became friends and then the guy promised to help him meet the girl and advised him to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan. Yes, that was illegal and a way paved with dangers unknown, but that did not stop Hamid. However, luck had other plans and it turned out that the 'friend' was not helping him but instead, got him arrested and thus began Hamid's nightmare. © Twitter He tried to explain to the authorities that his intentions were not malicious and that he was not a spy but things were already in motion against him. Hamid thought he was being swallowed into oblivion and while he longed to meet his parents, regret took over and he almost gave up on hope. In a recent interview, he revealed that he couldn't bathe for days, he was barely given food and the torture he endured was beyond the measures of what he could possible express. Years later, a string of lawyers and the determination of Sushma Swaraj ensured that justice was delayed but not denied to Hamid. Today, he was released and he entered his homeland after more than six years. He obviously cannot stop thanking Sushma Swaraj for her efforts and has a heart full of gratitude. #WATCH Indian National Hamid Ansari who came to India after being released from a Pakistan jail yesterday, meets External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in Delhi. Hamid now wants to find a job, get married and a have a family of his own. He's home! Delighted that #HamidAnsari has returned to his family this evening after six agonising years in Pakistani jails. @IndiainPakistan pic.twitter.com/KvvWTLM5Ao — Ajay Bisaria (@Ajaybis) December 18, 2018 Normalcy is what was lacking from his life and that is exactly what he wants now. When asked if he ever wondered what happened to the woman for whom he took this major step for, Hamid said that he found out that she was married and was well settled, and that is exactly what he craves for himself as well. Let's hope his life is full of light and hope from now onwards.
  17. NASA is already really cool. I mean, anything related to space will always be cool and I recently discovered something new that makes NASA even cooler. (Sorry for the overuse of the word 'cool') With every International Space Station mission, there's a group photo of the crew but who says they have to be boring? No one wants to see the same posed picture for every mission so the astronauts got a little creative and made the group pictures super cool and only a little cringey. Recreating an iconic movie poster for every mission, seems like the astronauts had a lot of fun adding a little more pop culture to space. Here's 'The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy's' almost exact recreation. © NASA The 'Armageddon' poster with just a few more people. © NASA 'Harry Potter', all grown up. © NASA Almost exact, down to the barefeet. © NASA This one's a little awkward, I agree. © YouTube This one is so cheesy, I can't even, © YouTube 'Transformers' looks pretty cool, I have to give it to them. © NASA And last, the beloved TV show 'Firefly'. © NASA
  18. In January 2017, M. Night Shyamalan came up with his twelfth feature film titled 'Split'. The film represented a different kind of superhero genre that Hollywood had never seen before. © Universal Pictures Unlike 'Batman', 'Superman' or 'X-Men', 'Split' was unconventional and presented a sui-generis yet contrasting case, if comparisons are to be drawn between various comic book characters. The protagonist Kevin in 'Split' is more of a superhuman rather than a superhero. © Universal Pictures Though, the concept of the existence of multiple personalities within an individual is quite known, never has it ever been explored by a mainstream film-maker to such an extent that it represents a part of a film franchise. Kevin's 23 alter egos will now be seen giving birth to mayhem in Shyamalan's 'Glass', a 2019 release. The official trailer of the film has already been released. Before we talk about 'Glass' and how with his 13th film, Shyamalan is going to redefine the modern movie trilogy, let us first understand how only he (Shyamalan) director-writer could imagine connecting three different films over a time span of 19 years. © Universal Pictures Let us take you back to the game-changing and last scene of 'Split'. Inside a restaurant, the attention of people shifts towards a TV news broadcast explaining the horrors caused by Kevin's split personality. A woman in the restaurant could be seen talking of a similar incident that took place years back in Philadelphia and is unable to recall the name of the culprit involved. The camera then shifts towards David (Bruce Willis), who tells her the man's name and utters – 'Glass'. The scene in the film happened to hit us like a lightning bolt and gave us a major hint that 'Split' and Shyamalan's 2000 film 'Unbreakable' are related. 'Unbreakable' happened to be M. Night Shyamalan's path-breaking project; the film was named as one of the top ten superhero movies of all time by the Time magazine. © Universal Pictures Starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, the movie turned out to be the first instalment in what people are now calling the 'Unbreakable' series. In the film, a man named David Dunn (played by Bruce Willis) happens to be the only survivor on a train crash. He later discovers his superhuman powers with the help of Elijah Price (played by Samuel L. Jackson) a comic art gallery owner. With the trailer of the 'Glass', one thing is for sure - The film is going to put more weight on Elijah Price's role, that remained unexplored in 'Unbreakable'. © Universal Pictures Kevin, David, and Elijah are humans with unusual superpowers, ready to close the series. So, how did M. Night Shyamalan planned these three films with a hundred twists and different plots, over a time period of 19 years? Who could have imagined that years later, Shyamalan would even remember to add James Newton Howard's dark background score (the one used in 'Unbreakable') to Kevin's last monologue in 'Split', which cuts to David's cameo? This means something – M. Night Shyamalan is a spiritual genius and a master storyteller! This also means that Shyamalan has already modernized the art of making a film trilogy. Once, he mentioned in an interview, “The idea of doing a traditional sequel doesn't inspire me. It has to be organic and has to come from the right place — otherwise, it'll smell of artificiality. But it's fascinating how much it's stuck around. I do think about it a lot.” © Universal Pictures 'Unbreakable' happened to be amongst the first few films in the superhero franchise. The film released months after the first instalment of Brian Singer's 'X-Men' hit the theatres. Shyamalan didn't mention 'Unbreakable' to be a superhero film during the film promotions and marketing. © Universal Pictures Trilogies like 'The Matrix', 'Spider-Man' and even Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight' have got their own themes and styles, M. Night Shyamalan's 'Glass' might create its own benchmarks and change the narrative about the modern day trilogy.
  19. "Kim Nam-joon, Kim Seok-jin, Min Yoon-gi, Jung Ho-seok, Park Ji-min, Kim Tae-hyung, Jeon Jung-kook BTS. Whooooooooooooooo!" I heard this war cry of a fan-chant the second I stepped into the lobby of INOX Nehru Place and I knew I was in for something special. I was already familiar with the fandom named ARMY, who pride themselves on being the biggest fans and fierce supporters of BTS- the world's most powerful and popular Korean boy band. Now, I am an admirer of BTS myself and am familiar with its members and their work. However, I was not prepared to witness firsthand the major impact they have on their fans. Most Indian fans of BTS are sort of prepared to deal with the possibility of their favourite 7 men in the world never setting foot in the country, which made 'Burn The Stage' even more special, as it was an opportunity to witness BTS at such close proximity via the big screen. I still remember the rush I felt while booking the tickets. My fingers moved at ninja speed, as the seats were getting sold out before my eyes in a span of less than 20 frikking minutes! 'Burn The Stage' was originally a mini-series on YouTube Red and later it was announced as a film with the same, however, with more unseen footage of the band and their behind-the-scenes candid moments. BTS fans pride themselves for the fact that the band sets itself apart from the rest because of the message they keep spreading through their music, which is- Love Yourself. And this was visible in the movie as well, as I could hear the entire hall sighing, smiling, tearing up, cheering hard and simply being happy throughout the duration of the show. “BTS teaches you so many things about yourself and 'Burn The Stage' makes you feel good about yourself because BTS is all about love and supporting each other and most importantly- loving yourself. People should definitely watch this and be inspired”, 21-year-old Yashi told me when I asked her why should ARMYs and even non-fans watch this. The concept of 'fanservice' is very common in the world of K-pop, where idols and groups communicate with fans through scripted material, which makes their followers feel more close to their stars. Which is why 'Burn The Stage' comes as a breath of fresh air, as we get to see raw footage of how the band goes about their daily lives on their breaks, and how sometimes they lose all hope on particularly low days. Basically, it is a window into their lives, minus the harsh camera lights. I could feel my connection with the band deepening as I was given an insight into what goes into their absolutely in-sync choreography, irrespective of the weather or how they are feeling physically. In the previous episodes of 'Burn The Stage' on YouTube, fans had already gotten a glimpse of Jungkook, the youngest, literally collapsing post a performance and still managing to make it back on the stage for the next number. This time, we got to see Namjoon, the leader, getting his leg up in a splint after a performance, revealing that he had been dancing the entire time with an injured limb. Honestly, this struck something in me. I mean, I've always known BTS was a hardworking lot and the proof lies in their meteoric rise over the past few years, however, it also showed me how they were ready to go above and beyond just to deliver a stellar show and not disappoint their fans, irrespective of their personal situation. Pretty sure I was not the only one feeling like this, as a particularly emotional and excited fan, Ipsa told me, “this movie was basically them taking a step closer towards us and I want to thank them for doing so.” Well, I completely agree with her, as this movie has only brought BTS closer with their fans across the world. The fans also got to see what went behind a BTS performance, which was not just the band dancing and singing on stage but being actively involved the creation of their music and choreography, while also ensuring all the other members were alright and helping out in a tough spot. The message was simple- there is a lot more to their shows than meets the eye. After over 80 minutes of a comic and emotional rollercoaster, the movie ended to the claps and cheers of the ARMYs, some who were still beaming and looking at the screen with a contented expression, while some quietly wiped their happy tears. There was not one unhappy soul in the hall, and I could feel the positivity radiating from each and every one there. Given the times we are living in, where youngsters are battling their own demons every day, from depression to academic strain, the message that BTS is sending through their music is nothing short of brilliant. Teaching their young fans to embrace positivity and confidence, while telling them to chase after their dreams without breaking under the pressures of the world, BTS, in their own novel way, is helping the youth in combating their shortcomings. Mental health, female empowerment, friendship and introspection are some of the crucial themes underlying many BTS songs, which only explains how the group collaborated with UNICEF to come forward with the 'Love Yourself' campaign, which aimed at the protection of young people from violence, both external and self-inflicted. © Twitter/LoveYourself Coming back to the movie, its message and its impact on fans, I strongly believe that 'Burn The Stage' has successfully managed to convey to their fans, that despite BTS' historic achievement, unparalleled success and ever-increasing fame, the band has not forgotten its roots, where it came from, what they went through, and most importantly, who made them who they are today- their fans.
  20. Jason Momoa has already wowed the audience with the trailer of his upcoming DC movie 'Aquaman'. The trailer dropped recently and fans went crazy exploding with praises for the actor and showing high expectations. Turns out that all expectations would be met once the movie hits the theatres because critics across the globe have called it the best DC movie since 'The Dark Knight' and it has already been predicted to become a super hit. Saw #Aquaman — what a movie. A blast from beginning to end. Visually stunning (think LOTR under water). I will def see it again and in IMAX. — chris harihar (@chrisharihar) November 27, 2018 I loved #Aquaman! It's definitely one of the best DC universe movies thus far. It's a fun underwater fantasy sci-fi adventure everyone will enjoy. James Wan did a great job of bringing the first Aquaman movie to life ðð¾ð¥ pic.twitter.com/RI0s2YKmLL — Dorian Parks (@DorianParksnRec) November 26, 2018 Now they of course cannot divulge the plot details but this is a reassurance that the wait will be worth it. I can finally share some brief thoughts on #Aquaman. Can't mention plot or technical stuff, so I'll just say that Jason Mamoa is charismatic as hell in the lead and the film gives off a fun fantasy vibe ð Doubt anyone will mock Aquaman for talking to fish after this comes out. pic.twitter.com/EFpPJ3enmq — Nick Kazden (@ricknazden) November 26, 2018 Short & sweet reaction to #Aquaman is that I loved it. It's a comic book movie through & through with great action, iconic moments & visual spectacle to spare. Momoa makes the character his own & Wan honors the traditional aspects, but elevates it to the modern era. It's a blast. — Paul Shirey (@arcticninjapaul) November 26, 2018 What is a superhero movie without a fantabulous superhero, right? People are all praises for Jason Momoa & Amber Heard's performances in the movie.
