  1. 'Love, Death & Robots' is the kind of show that introduces you to an itch you didn't know needed to be scratched. The 18 episode long NSFW anthology is the perfect show for adults with a dark sense of humour, with an adequate thirst for gore and distressing content to go with it. (No wonder they put up 'This film is for messed up audiences' right at the beginning of the trailer.) As soon as we saw the trailer, we were sweating from all the excitement, because this one screamed 'Black Mirror' because of its weird, dark, futuristic demeanour - only cooler because of all the super edgy animation. View this post on Instagram Eighteen short, sweet and lethal animated stories. Love Death + Robots lands on Netflix March 15.ï¸ â¤ï¸ðð¤ #lovedeathandrobots A post shared by Love Death + Robots (@lovedeathandrobots) on Feb 14, 2019 at 9:31am PST When it comes to animation, viewers in general associate it with lighthearted, harmless content. Well get ready for that myth to be busted, and how. LDR probably is the goriest show you have ever watched till now - when it comes to animated content (probably apart from 'Happy Tree Friends'.) View this post on Instagram A post shared by Love Death + Robots (@lovedeathandrobots) on Feb 25, 2019 at 12:08am PST Another distinguishing feature of the series is the sheer variety of animation it entails. Right from the edgy Japanese style to the unbelievably realistic style of animation that you won't believe isn't real, LDR has it all, and it's an absolute visual treat. The *** scene in 'Beyond The Aquila Rift' legit looks like a clip from an adult movie, and the psychedelic hyper-reality in 'Fish Night' is mind-numbingly beautiful. For example, the ending of 'Sonnie's Edge' - the one with the fighting pit with genetically engineered monsters that are controlled by fighters - can be the start of a whole new story. The same holds true for 'Three Robots' - an edgier version of 'Wall E' in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian world. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Love Death + Robots (@lovedeathandrobots) on Mar 5, 2019 at 8:54am PST What stays with you, long after you're done watching the series, are a few episodes like 'Zima Blue' and 'Good Hunting'. While 'Zima Blue' has an incredibly deep philosophical connotation attached, 'Good Hunting' is an amazing mix of Chinese folklore and the vintage steampunk genre, with a heartwarming angle thrown in. 'When The Yogurt Took Over' is a story of when a bowl of sentient yogurt took over the entire world - and it is as crazy as it sounds. 'Alternate Histories' deals with six ways in which the world would have been different, depending on the death of Hitler, in six hilarious ways. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Love Death + Robots (@lovedeathandrobots) on Mar 9, 2019 at 12:03pm PST View this post on Instagram A post shared by Love Death + Robots (@lovedeathandrobots) on Feb 26, 2019 at 8:01am PST There are a lot of other exciting episodes like 'Ice Age', where a couple finds a miniature version of an ancient civilization inside their freezer, and 'The Witness', where a woman is on the run after having witnessed a murder in a psychedelic cityscape, and how it ends in an absolutely bizarre manner. The best thing about 'Love, Death, and Robots', however, is its runtime. All the episodes range from 6 to 18 minutes, which makes it a super crisp and easy watch. You can literally binge the entire thing in a day, and not feel dead afterwards. Your brain, however, will take weeks to recover from the madness.

  3. Spritzing perfume might seem easy. You just have to pump the bottle twice, right? Well, sorry to disappoint you, but no. You must have wondered why the fume doesn't last long and you need to wear it again and again throughout the day to smell fresh. But, what if you don't have the time? Here's what you should keep in mind while spraying perfume on to ensure it stays on for a long time: 1. Rubbing Kills The Fume © purplle That faulty application habit—pumping scent on the wrists and then pressing them together and against your neck is what creates friction that heats up the skin, which produces natural enzymes that switch the course of the scent. This affects the notes that quickly die down, far from making them distinctive. Do it right: Spritz on your wrists, wait for the liquid to sink in and don't rub your wrists against anything after. 2. Keep It In A Storage Box At Room Temperature For storing your fume, you need to factor in the detail that liquid fragrances are extremely fragile to environmental changes. Perfumes get ruined in cold to hot temperatures that make them age faster. 3. Buy Them In Small Bottles © Getty Images Perfumes should be consumed quickly. Storing a half-used bottle unused perfume on your shelf allows oxygen to break down the scent's molecules, altering its composition. 4. Lathering With A Moisturizer Helps A few hacks can carry a scent a long way. Fragrances don't last long on dry skin. You could accompany body lotion with your fragrance. The fact of the matter is that where you wear the perfume also matters. Here are the best perfumes in that market that you should know about: 1. Bleu De Chanel © purplle With citrus and woody notes, this fragrance is deep, fresh, intense, and vibrant at the same time. 2. Prada L'Homme © purplle Debuted in 2016, it's dominantly floral with prominent hints of wood, amber, and spice notes to round things up. 3. Dior Sauvage © purplle With contrasting notes of bergamot and pepper, followed by floral, amber, vanilla, and cedar for a strong but well-rounded finish. It's one of the long lasting fumes 4.Ralph Lauren Polo © purplle A heavy scent: tobacco, pine, oakmoss, and patchouli make it a Winter staple and a fume that you could rely on. 5. Calvin Klein Obsession © purplle Packed in a sensual bottle, the perfume has notes of cinnamon, amber, sandalwood, myrrh, musk, and vanilla. Obsession leaves a lasting impression. 6. Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme © purplle With notes of yuzu fruit, lemon, blue lotus, and vetiver, it's like an uplifting traditional Japanese tea for a warm experience. 7. Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male © Getty Images The soft tones of mint, lavender, and orange blossom, juxtaposed against vanilla, cinnamon, and amber. 8. Hermès Terre d'Hermès © purplle Terre D'Hermès has notes of orange, pepper, cedar, grapefruit, and vetiver. More importantly, Terre d'Hermès is the base for spinoff scent: Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vetiver.
  4. With the Indian Premier League (IPL) less than a week away, passionate fans of the game and more specifically, the league, now have some serious shade thrown by former captain of the Indian cricket team at the current Indian skipper, to discuss and have quarrels over. In an analysis show ahead of the biggest cricketing league in the world initiates, Gautam Gambhir took a killshot at Virat Kohli's abilities as a captain for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). “I don't see him as a shoot captain or a tactful captain. And he hasn't won the IPL,” said the former Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain on the show. “Ultimately a captain is only as good as his record till.” Ever since the league came into existence in 2008, Virat Kohli has been a part of the RCB family. Signed under what was known as a 'Youth Contract' for a mere $30,000, Kohli slowly worked his way up the success ladder with the franchise, year by year. After being the only player to be retained by the team before the 2011 season began, Kohli was promoted to the role of vice-captain and even captained the squad on a couple of occasions when former Kiwi skipper Daniel Vettori went down with an injury. Following his success with the Indian cricket team, as he became one of the more recognised men of the game, for his exceptional batting, charged-up attitude and the knack to take challenges head on, Kohli was named the permanent captain of the RCB roster after Vettori bid adieu to the format. However, what Gambhir pointed out about Kohli's performance when it comes to IPL, has a lot of sense in it. There's no doubting the man's contribution towards Team India's ascension in international cricket. Under Kohli's captaincy, India has been great but the 30-year-old has failed to provide similar output for his Bangalore team. Gambhir also said: “There are people who have won the trophy three times - MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. So I think he has a long way to go. You cannot compare him to someone like Rohit or Dhoni at this stage...” While players like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have had the privilege to host the IPL trophy in their cities for three seasons each and even Gambhir lifting the cup in 2012 and 2014, Kohli hasn't even had the opportunity to get a whiff of it. Getting eliminated in the league stages in most of the seasons, Kohli and the RCB gang has made it to the IPL Final thrice, only to be put down by Hyderabad Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings and SunRisers Hyderabad in the years 2009, 2011 and 2016, respectively. According to Gambhir, Kohli should thank the decision-makers of the Royal Challengers franchise for continuing to have faith in him and letting him be the captain despite the below-average results simply because of the fact that not a lot of other players have enjoyed such trust and have been dethroned from captaincy for far less. Gautam Gambhir's final season with the Delhi Daredevils comes to mind keeping things in similar context when after a bad start to the season, his duty as the leader of the team was taken away by the team-owners and given to a rookie like Shreyas Iyer. It's sad but it's true.
  5. Just when Kangana Ranaut criticised Bollywood for not coming forth and speaking on critical political issues, the quintessential Bollywood hunk stepped up and gave his two cents on the state of affairs of the country. While at the trailer launch of his film 'Romeo Akbar Walter', John Abraham, speaking about the current tensions between India and Pakistan post the Pulwama terror attacks said: "There has to be a war against terror, not against a country, religion, religions or between religions. I am very clear in my outlook. I (will) probably get picked on, but I am not going to sit on the fence and say 'this audience will like it, that won't." © Twitter He also added, unlike other actors, that he's never going to shy away from voicing his opinion. "There has to be a war on terror. It has to be over and done with. That doesn't mean you have to fight with another country. That doesn't mean you have to stereotype people." He was asked if actors are obliged to make political comments, to which he said: “Yes, if they are politically aware. Kangana is very politically aware and she has got a voice. I think you must take a stand if you are politically aware. But you shouldn't be stupidly talented. You can't be an idiot, who knows nothing about which country lies where. If you don't know what's happening from Bihar to Syria, then you should shut up and smile and show your mug that you have done so much work on. Don't talk.” © Pinterest While the actor believes other actors should not talk or comment about politics to simply 'trend', he encourages more people to come forward and talk about the grave situation at hand. We believe John has a point to make, because the country idolises the Bollywood fraternity to an extent and if they come forth and share positive opinions, which do not propagate war and violence, then it definitely reflects well for the rest of society. We all have an opinion but voicing something that's beneficial for the nation and its people should definitely be put forth out and loud. © Indiatimes While talking to the press, John also spoke about his new espionage thriller 'Romeo Akbar Walter', directed by Robbie Grewal. The film also features Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff and Sikander Kher. Since the film does talk about Indo-Pakistan relations, everyone in the film is aware of the current situation and has an opinion on it, said the 46-year-old actor. “We are stereotyping people, that's probably the most dangerous sign. It shouldn't happen. But that's the way the world is functioning today.” He added. The film is scheduled to release on April 5th. © Twitter Watch the trailer here While more famous personalities are coming forward to express their opinion on the situation at hand, we only hope the tensions die down slowly and peace is accepted by both the parties, shortly.

  7. Whenever it comes to styling outfits be it formal or casual wear, every little detail matters. Your outfit can be one to remember or a hit-and-miss, all because it wasn't accessorized well. Accessories like your belt, socks, jewellery, shoes play a vital role in taking an outfit from basic to next level. Accessories are often taken as an optional thing when it comes to putting an outfit together. Often we don't realize the errors that we make while matching one's accessories. Such a minimal step can transform your whole look and be the difference between a plain old meeting and a kickass first impression. Here are 4 guidelines one must consider sacred when it comes to matching accessories: 1. Match Your Belt To Your Shoes © Instagram @kartikaaryan Let's start with accessory basics, shall we? Most men know this rule already but do they actively consider it while dressing up? Here's why this is a crucial step in accessories. You need to match your belt to your shoes. Like a black belt, shoes should be worn with black shoes, a brown belt should be worn with brown footwear. Making the look uniform in colour keeps the aesthetic on point and makes you look professional. 2. Select The Right Tie © Instagram @ishabhansali Matching one's tie to their outfit is an essential step. Any old tie thrown on a shirt wouldn't compliment your outfit unless it goes with the colour scheme of the look. The right tie should stand out but have some elements of the theme of the outfit. Be careful while choosing a printed tie and remember to go for darker colours as they are more versatile. Also, your pocket squares should match your tie in some way or the other. Be it the same colour, print or pattern. 3. Matching Metals Is A Thing Too © Instagram @alifazal9 Yes. You read that right. Be it the frame of your glasses, watch, cufflinks or belt buckle, metals play an important part in making your outfit look as coherent as possible. Make sure it's all from the same metal family as shiny objects draw attention and are easily noticeable. This step would add finesse and symmetry to your outfit. Mind your metals, lads! 4. Choose The Right Sunnies © Instagram @vickykaushal09 Sunglasses are not just for the sun, they contribute an extra layer of style to your outfit. Choose your sunnies according to the setting you're planning to wear them in. The tint of your sunglasses should compliment the colour scheme of your outfit and make you stand out. Choose a rectangle or an aviator in a light tint for formal occasions and reflective sunglasses in a round or wayfarer style for more casual outings. See? It's the little details that separate boys from men.
  8. India is a country where cricket is considered nothing less than religion and people literally worship the game. It is a country where no matter how much you promote any other sport, it will always come under the shadow of the game of cricket It is a country where children are playing the game even in the narrowest of streets, aspiring to represent their nation. But at the end of the day, the Indian National team has only 16 spots, out of which the 11 best players get to play. And let's be very honest, not everyone can be a Virat Kohli or a Rohit Sharma. Millions of children play cricket every day, out of which about fifty thousand take it up as a profession in a good year, and out of those fifty thousand, only 16 get selected. The numbers put things into perspective, doesn't it? The cricket mania in our country is such that people leave everything to excel in the sport. They train day and night just to get into that blue jersey. Many leave their studies and every other hobby, just to focus on the game. And out of all, there are only a handful of people who get to have their dream come true. The rest have to make do with crushed dreams. The importance of studies is such that even a legend like MS Dhoni completed his degree. Even after years of getting on the field, he did complete his education, because he himself realises how imperative it is to have one. © Reuters Speaking of wise legends of the game, how can we forget our Mr Dependable, Rahul Dravid, who himself has a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from St. Joseph's College? Dravid, who has been in charge of India's U-19 squad and India A team for over three years now, has also raised his voice in favour of young cricketers having alternate career options as the drop-out rates continue to escalate. During a recent meeting with the BCCI officials, 'the wall' weighed in on the importance of working on the life skills for the budding cricketers. © ICC Tufan Ghosh, the COO of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) spoke of the meeting with TOI in his recent interview: “Dravid and the other coaches here had pointed out the need to start such a process. We are working towards formulating a structure before it is sent to the higher authorities in BCCI to get things going... Right now, we can't be teaching them like what happens in NIS, but Dravid has emphasized on life education.” Further explaining his statement, Mr Ghosh said: “Most of the cricketers these days are so engrossed in playing the game that they don't look at any other aspect of life. It has been observed a lot of these young players quit cricket by 21. Then it's a struggle for them to lead a stable life. We are looking at life coaching, internships with companies and training in other vocational courses and then facilitating jobs for the youngsters.” BCCI is further looking to rope in companies that can help them with the process. They have also planned to align with the state bodies and academies, so that if the players from different state bodies feel the need to avail the facility, then it could be done easily. Let's hope this step by BCCI proves to be a fruitful one for the coming generations.
  9. Rewinding time is not possible, but 'do-overs' are. Not many get an opportunity to right their wrong. But Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have got one where they can win over the fans with a good performance on the field. After being suspended for their misdemeanour on the popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan', the duo finally had some good news as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) lifted their respective bans with immediate effect. In its press release, BCCI claimed: “Hardik Pandya will be sent to New Zealand to join the team at the earliest and KL Rahul will join the India A squad to play the last 3 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against England Lions.” It was a much-needed step, as finalising the Indian Team's squad for the World Cup is the need of the hour. Hardik Pandya being a handy batting allrounder, can provide good depth in the batting unit and can prove to be an asset in the pace department for the team. With Virat Kohli out for the last two ODIs and the T20I series, along with Vijay Shankar not being able to cement his position in the team, the bets of Pandya making the cut for India's playing XI are really high. © Reuters And to be honest, Kohli in his past interviews has always talked about strengthening his pace attack by having three pacers. Pandya's presence would bolster the pace attack, easing the pressure on the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami. On the other hand, getting some game-time with the India A squad, KL Rahul can surely use the opportunity to rediscover his lost form and probably return to the national team just in time for the ICC mega event in England. © Reuters Following their nightmarish experience that lasted a bit longer than one would have expected, these two youngsters can now focus on their game in a bid to reclaim the love and trust of the fans.
  10. While finding true love should definitely be your end goal, there are a few things you should set yourself up for, before you go looking for it. Having mighty real expectations is the key to finding the love you truly deserve and if you don't really know what you want to find, having some solid parameters before is quite valid. Because you never know when you may find love and what you may find in terms for love, but keeping some check-ins handy before you meet someone is always helpful. © Eros International In today's day and age, we all need something to keep us grounded and away from unreal expectations from our partners. Because if we come with a set of over-the-top expectations, we're bound to be disappointed at some point in time in life. If we have a summation of realistic expectations that can easily be met by the other person, then we're definitely going to attract a healthy relationship towards us. So, in lieu of the above, here are 3 things you must do, to give up on some unhealthy expectations you may have, to attract a happy and a stable relationship and a love that lasts long: (1) Have A Set Of Priorities By priorities, I mean segregate your expectations. Especially of what you really want from your future partner. Always remember though, high expectations are different from unreal expectations. High expectations as long as are achievable should not be shelved. They're made to fulfil your needs and standards after all. Just make sure that your high expectations aren't unreal. After all, if you're sorted and an established man, you want a woman on the same wavelength and there's nothing wrong with expecting that. © AA Films (2) Set Some Boundaries Always know what you will put up with and what you won't, so you don't take your self-esteem and respect the whole hog when it's not required to. Sometimes, unknowingly, we do things that are far away from our comfort zone and we really don't need to or have to do them. We do them in order to please the other person. While you most certainly can please them, you don't have to put your self-respect at stake for it. Try not to compromise on your core values in a relationship and have a set of boundaries marked down to the T. For instance, if you're averse to infidelity and you face something like that in the future, set a boundary to never normalise it in your head, just because your partner messes up or cheats on you. © Vicom 18 Motion Pictures (3) Lock Down On Your Needs & Wants Having your core values intact and realising what they are is very important before you meet anyone you want to spend the rest of your life with. Work with tangibles in this situation. For example, if you want children, work out your views on marriage and the kind of lifestyle you want to adapt to when you find the right person. It's important you work on what you need and want before you agree to settle down with someone. Having a conversation about the same with your future partner is healthy but that can only happen if you clearly understand what your needs and wants are and you need to know them way before and be certain about them. © Zee Studios The key is not to have everything in common with your future partner. The key is to lock down everything you want to set for yourself so you and she can have a smooth life together, even if you don't have much in common. If you respect each other's choices and live your life the way you want to, you can still make a great couple and have a healthy relationship. For that, these three pointers come in handy and if you do these three things before falling in love, you're definitely sorted for life!
  11. For a man who was heavily criticised and consistently bashed for his slump in form in 2018, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has made the naysayers eat their own words on the back of a prolific showing in the new year. The ever-reliable cricketer had a brilliant outing in Australia where he produced clinical batting performances that had eluded him the previous year. The 37-year-old smashed three consecutive fifties, wherein two of those paved the way for India's triumph, further helping the visitors to secure a historic bilateral ODI series win. In the three matches he played, Dhoni emerged as the leading run-scorer for India, amassing 193 runs at an average of over 190. Such was his performance with the willow that it eventually earned him the 'Man of the Series' award following India's 2-1 triumph in the series. © AP While his weren't exactly the slambang innings we once associated with Dhoni, his calculated knocks, produced on the back of great composure and temperament, gave us all a glimpse of his new role in the team. With over 10,000 ODI runs to his name, Dhoni is the kind of player that a side needs to bolster their middle-order. And, adapting himself to his new role, Dhoni continues to add value to the Indian team. Following his prolific showing Down Under, the Indian cricketer now gears up for the five-match ODI series against New Zealand. Owing to his return to form, Dhoni is likely to play a pivotal role if India intend to upset the Kiwis in their own backyard. And, ahead of the first ODI at McLean Park, the right-hander has found a new challenge - thanks to Mike Hesson. Preparing to halt India's marauding run, the Kiwis would have surely kept close tabs on Dhoni in a bid to prepare themselves for the Indian middle-order batsman. Thus, there was no surprise to see Hesson being overwhelmed by Dhoni's heroics in Australia. "Runs just shows the value of experience. Most players in the world would have panicked considering the situation Dhoni was in, but he looked calmer than anybody else. It suggests that he has been in this situation many times before and knows how to pace a chase," the New Zealand coach told Cricket Next. © Reuters "Challenge for Dhoni is going to be when the side is batting first, how hard he needs to go. In terms of chasing a total, which is still the hardest thing in cricket, he is a genius," the New Zealand coach added. Dismissed due to an umpiring error in the first ODI, Dhoni took the matters in his own hands with a much-improved showing in Sydney and Melbourne. His unbeaten knock of 54 helped his side in levelling the proceedings in Sydney, while an 87-run innings in Melbourne sealed the game and series for India. With India chasing in all the three ODIs Down Under, Dhoni was seen adapting to the ever-changing match situations and pacing his innings accordingly - something that he has mastered over the years. During a run-chase, cricketers are generally in a better frame of mind as far as their approach is concerned. But, what happens when India are batting first? How would Dhoni go about his business then? He surely doesn't have the luxury of pacing his innings according to the asking-rate. That's the challenge Hesson has pointed out. © Reuters If India bats first, Virat Kohli and his teammates will have to combine together to post a total which they feel is a competitive one. And, that is where Dhoni's presence of mind and experience will come into play as, like Hesson, the fans back home, too, would be eager to see how this old warhorse goes about his business then. It's the test of assumptions and, then, playing accordingly to aid the team's cause. A tricky, but a crucial test nonetheless. Will he take his time, again, to build the innings? Or, we'd see the explosive side of Dhoni that has eluded him in recent times? All those questions might get answered when Team India locks horns with New Zealand in the first ODI at the McLean Park in Napier on 23rd January.
  12. We already know that Microsoft and Sony are both working on future consoles and are getting ready for the next generation. There are rumours that both companies are working on multiple consoles that will sell at different prices. The next generation of Xbox consoles is set to replace the Xbox One X and will be able to offer 4K gaming natively. © YouTube It is said to have improved hardware and better graphics than the current generation. We've heard rumours of various features that will come on the next generation, however, we want to talk about certain mistakes Xbox can't afford to make in the next generation. One of them includes making India a huge part of their strategy and here's what we think the gaming company needs to do: 1. Nail The Launch Event © Reuters Gamers are very vocal and Microsoft had to learn the hard way when the Xbox One was announced in 2013. In fact, it was a disaster as it wasn't presented as a gaming machine but rather as an entertainment box. Executives failed to talk about games and other features like “always online”, DRM and other issues that had gamers concerned. Messaging plays a crucial role in getting gamers excited and that's where Sony prevailed. The next Xbox launch needs to appeal more to gamers than casual users so that it has a great ecosystem right from the start. 2. Pro-Gaming Features © Microsoft Xbox One has already become a machine that provides the best features that any gamer could ask. The Xbox Game pass makes games more affordable and also lets users play Xbox exclusive games on day 1. All for a subscription price that works like Netflix and lets players play old and new games for a fraction of full retail price. In India, gaming is already an expensive affair and this new feature will make it easier for gamers in India to get access to the latest games for a cheaper price. © Microsoft Xbox already has a huge library of old games that are compatible with the Xbox One. Backwards compatibility is crucial for gamers as we generally like to visit old games. Rumours suggest that the next Xbox consoles are said to have backward compatibility for Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One titles. This would definitely bring a huge advantage to the new console, as Sony has been shying away from providing a similar feature on the PlayStation platform as of now. 3. Better Exclusives © Microsoft There's no secret that Sony PlayStation 4's success had to do with better exclusive games for the consoles. With games like God of War, Spider-Man, Last of Us, Uncharted and other exclusive games made the console a huge success all over the world. In fact, Microsoft has already bought new studios to effectively compete with Microsoft, however, the platform will need a good exclusive at launch to sway gamers to the other side. 4. A Budget Xbox For India © BCCL India is going to be the next big gaming country in the world as we've already seen great success for games like PUBG in the country. Consoles are generally very expensive in India due to import duties that made it exclusive for a nice audience. Xbox can change its fortunes by making a cheaper model just for India or manufacture/assemble all consoles in India to drive the price down. Indians love a bargain which is why it has made companies like Xiaomi, OPPO, and OnePlus super successful in India. The strategy is simple, undercut the competition with aggressive pricing. With a population of 1.3 billion and potential 200 million gamers, Xbox can capture the Indian market with affordable pricing. India is the next big destination for anything technology and gaming needs to follow suit. Rumours are already suggesting that Xbox is working on a budget console, however, we will only know for sure when the next Xbox is made official. 5. Release It Sooner © Reuters The Xbox 360 was the winner of last generation's console wars and there were two main reasons behind it. The Xbox 360 was cheaper than the PlayStation 3 and it launched six months earlier. If Xbox manages to launch the new console before Sony at E3 this year, there's no doubt it will be able to capture the gaming market faster. Do you think Xbox can make it big in India? What do you think Microsoft should do to win the Indian gaming scene. Let us know in the comments.
  13. In your twenties, chances of you spotting your first dreaded grey hair strand are very likely. The existence of a white hair strand(s) or in plural can be terrifying. The white signifies the beginning of horrors of old age and death! You might also think that white is an unattractive colour to be on one's head. Or worse, what if suddenly your crush begins to think that you're really old. But hey, before you freak out. via GIPHY This is not a nightmare. You're in control of this. You can control your grey strands in a better way than you think. Here are things to immediately do as soon as you spot the grey. 1. Don't Pluck It Whatever you do, don't pluck it. As tempting as the idea might sound, plucking the hair strand damages the hair follicle and might lead to hair loss. You don't want another problem to attack you when you're already dealing with one. via GIPHY Don't. 2. Snip It A good alternative to plucking greys is snipping them short. Just give them a close cut near to the scalp so they stop being the unicorn in your main crop. © active web group 3. Dye It If suddenly you see too many white strands, you could consider dyeing them. But don't go all out. Keep it subtle. Spend time choosing the tone matches the colour of your blacks. 4. Oil It Once you start with the hair colouring business you need to take care of your hair. All the chemicals from the hair dye will render your hair dry and brittle. © livestrong If you find the greys taking over your blacks, it's time to embrace it. It looks suave, trust us. Look at Jim Sarbh, Obama, Milind Soman for some inspiration. © Twitter While all these solutions might give you temporary results, the best way to deal with the whites is to wear it like you're proud of it. Who cares anyway, right?
  14. It's a brand new year and with the brand new year comes a set of brand new resolutions. While I am sure you break one too many, there's a chance you may want to keep a few, just in case there's a chance to inculcate some good and healthy practices this year. © Getty images While I am not sure about other resolutions you want to keep (or not), there's no harm making a few to improve your dating game this year. If you're single and have decided to mingle this year, it's only fair if you act out on your game plan early this year. Here are 5 important dating resolutions that can help you with your dating game in 2019. If you decide to keep them, that is. (1) Give Up Your 'Fuckboi' Title If you're single and you attract women through your machismo and the fuckboi culture, maybe it's time to try another route because honestly, women just want straightforward equations and they will not settle for meandering ties and manipulations anymore. True story! So, if you're used to spinning yarns about your life and getting women in bed one after the other, slow down a bit and try dating a healthier way. Maybe sleeping around can be balanced with a healthy dating routine where you spend enough time getting to know someone genuinely? Who knows what you may find! © Pintrest (2) Get Out Of The Wrong Relationship In case you've been trying really hard to figure a way to get out of a toxic relationship or have fallen out of love with someone, then this is the year you wiggle your way out of that. Maybe have an honest talk about how you feel with the person and leave on a good note? It's important to leave giving absolute closure to something. Once you're done with that, the world's your playground this year! © Twitter (3) Try Dating Organically This one can be a first, after maybe 5 years? Dating apps don't give us a chance to explore the world a little more organically. You could be sitting at home, sipping your coffee and swiping too many rights at one go. It's a marketed business and sometimes it all seems like a set-up. Maybe, for your own tryst to find the 'right person', get out and get moving and give them dating apps a break? Head to a bar or a party or even a play. Who knows where and how you meet someone. It'll probably be different, in a good way to ask someone out on a date, away from your phone screen! © UTV Motion Pictures (4) Think Outside Your 'Type' If you've been going after a 'type' and it hasn't worked out well for you in the past, maybe it's time to break that pattern and go for someone who isn't your type at all. Whatever your type is, leave that this year. If you're just looking to casually date this year then I reckon go for someone who is a wee bit different and see what lies there. You might find something you like and you may hit it off rather well with her! © Eros International (5) Understand Consent While the freedom to do what you feel like is great, there are some things you really need to understand before you imply that to your lifestyle. Consent, for example, is rather important and has always been and it's not just for this year. But because there is more prevalence about understanding consent now, it's advisable to thoroughly understand it. When a girl says 'NO' to going out with you or to performing a sexual act or to holding your hand, respect it and don't persist further. It's that simple. Trust me, once you understand what they truly want, it becomes a lot easier to court them and it's a lot of fun too. 2019 is not the year you play any sort of games TBH. © Zee Studios These are a few resolutions you can start the year with. Go out more often with your pals, enjoy the city you're living in and find new ways to date women and don't break these resolutions! It's that simple.
  15. No matter how old we grow, we can never be old enough to stop watching animated movies. The excitement with which every 90s kid still remembers movies like 'Lion King', only proves the same. In fact, when you have movies as exceptional as the ones here, you don't really need any convincing. As we bid farewell to 2018, let's take a look at some of the brilliant animated films that released this year. Incredibles 2 When the Incredibles came back so did our inner child, who we didn't know was desperately waiting for the movie to release. Our excitement was at its peak, especially because we have been waiting for the sequel for more than 14 years, and the wait was totall worth it. And a special mention to Jack Jack for being one of the most badass toddlers out there. Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz have become close friends after their misadventures six years ago. From seeking help from the netizens to meeting Disney's princesses in one place, the duo has some insane fun when they travel to the World Wide Web, to search for a replacement part to save 'Sugar Rush', Vanellope's video game. Directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, the sequel of 'Wreck-It Ralph' released on November 21, 2018. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Although the movie hasn't released yet, but we have our hopes really high from this one. The trailer looks promising and gives us a sneak peek into the world of Miles Morales, a teenage superhero with spider-like abilities, and his struggle in a universe where there can be more than just one Spider-Man. Smallfoot For decades, the legend around the mythical creature called Yeti has intrigued us and its existence has been a question that has troubled people. But, what if they actually exist and have similar thoughts and confusion about humans? Karey Kirkpatrick's deals with this very aspect in 'Smallfoot', where a Yeti is convinced that 'smallfoot' creatures like 'humans' (whom they have considered as legend) exist. Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation Released in July this year, the movie might have received mixed reviews from the critics, but it smashed at the box office as it made over $527 million globally, against a budget of $80 million. This movie revolves around our favourite monster family and their crazy vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship. So folks, here is our list. In case, we missed out your favourite movie, let us know in the comments section below.
  16. The last thing most of us do before stepping out of the house is to perform those last-minute checks in the bathroom mirror. Not only does doing that help us avoid making any embarrassing fashion faux pas, but the knowledge that we're leaving the house looking our best serves as a much-needed confidence booster as well! At the same time, it's also important to have a checklist for things you need to take with you to the gym. Does the idea of creating a checklist for your gym bag essentials seem like overkill? You might rethink that when you're dripping with sweat but have nothing to wipe it off with, or when you have to rush to a family gathering straight from the gym with nothing but your sweat-soaked workout gear as a clothing option. So to help you avoid those embarrassing situations, here's a list of essential items that should be taking pride of place in your gym bag every time you hit the gym. 1. Extra Towels © Amazon Towels have to be the most frequently used piece of equipment at the gym (and if that's not the case with you, you're probably doing something wrong!). In fact, a responsible gym-goer should have multiple towels handy—one to wipe the sweat off themselves, one to wipe any gym equipment before AND after using it (make sure you don't get the two towels mixed up) and a couple extra ones just in case. Most gyms do offer complimentary towels, but do you really want to use them not knowing who was using them before you? You can get your own gym towel, one that will quickly absorb sweat and cool you down, by clicking here MRP: Rs 299 2. Spare Clothes © Instagram/magic_fox In an ideal world, we'd all like to spend a couple of uninterrupted hours at the gym and then enjoy a well-deserved rest at home. Unfortunately, what we actually manage in the real world is a hurried hour or so of working out, usually before or after work or social gatherings. While you might not have a problem showing up for these plans in sweat-soaked clothes, we can assure you that the people around you definitely will! Pro tip: So if you're planning on going somewhere right after your gym session, check out this comfortable yet stylish t-shirt that comes equipped with Dri-FIT fabric to keep sweat stains away. MRP: Rs 1,695 3. Deodorant © Pixabay The first thing on your post-workout to-do list should be taking a shower, but that's easier said than done. Unfortunately, body odour doesn't care for your busy work and social calendar. So, if you don't have the time to hit the shower after the gym but don't want your overwhelming body odour to drive people away, your gym bag should always have a good deodorant. 4. Face Wash © Instagram/Tiger Shroff Are you so busy sculpting your dream physique that you're neglecting your skin? Investing in the best face wash based on your skin type will help keep your face acne free by unclogging your pores and clearing away dirt and grime, especially after those strenuous workouts. 5. Water Bottle © Pixabay Staying hydrated is just as important during a workout as maintaining proper form and using the right equipment. However, there always seems to be a long queue at the water cooler just when you need to hydrate. Why not avoid such a predicament by carrying your own water bottle to the gym? Pro tip: If you were planning on purchasing a water bottle to carry to your gym, check out this slim, spill-proof, leak-free, lightweight and sturdy option by clicking here. 6. Wireless Headphones © Instagram/Virat Kohli Nothing ruins a workout quicker than a pair of low quality headphones. Actually, a pair that keeps slipping off your head is just as bad. Worse still is forgetting your headphones entirely and having to work out to your fellow gym-goers' grunts instead of your favourite workout tunes. Wireless headphones have the answer to all those problems—they're easy to pack, look super stylish and allow you to enjoy your workout without getting tangled up in wires.
  17. For those of you in long-term relationships, you'll seldom understand the struggles a single person goes through, especially when you haven't really been single in a while. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean single people aren't happy. It's just that we'll never how the grass looks on the other side of the fence unless of course, we're thrown to the other side to experience it on our own. © Pinterest People who've just come out of a relationship may experience this side and they'll probably be too emotionally venerable. Being recently single after a long-term relationship is certainly not easy. I mean you've spent a considerable amount of time with a significant other, doing almost everything together and suddenly there is a big void in your life, which you're trying to fill in any way you can. Yes, it's a time where you may find yourself a bit lost and that's absolutely okay. Everyone is lost once every while but if you can get out of this space unscathed, then there's nothing like it. Yes, it takes a lot of time and patience and some amount of healing but you can definitely handle being recently single, with ease! Here are 5 ways you can get through this tough phase, easily: (1) It's Absolutely Okay To Grieve "Give yourself adequate time to grieve the loss", says dating and relationship coach Monica Parikh. Yes, it's almost like grieving for the loss of a loved one. What once was is now no more and it does make you sad, I don't deny that. You got habituated into following a pattern along with someone and suddenly that pattern breaks. You can feel immense pain and sadness, you can go into depression even. But whatever it is, don't stop the grieving. You can consult a professional for therapy or you can channelise your grief in constructive ways like picking up a sport or working out, immersing yourself in work or picking up a hobby. Just make sure you grieve and let it all out. Bottling up your feelings can make it worse for you in the longer run. (2) A Thorough Cleanse Is Important Take a moment to clean your space and not live in a mess. It's easy to just be messy because mess ordinarily reflects the state of mind. If your state of mind is cluttered, your surroundings will be too. So do a thorough cleansing of the space. Get rid of everything and anything that may remind you of your ex-partner. Clothes, postcards, letters, any other gift that you may have received from her. Once you start your cleanse, your mind will feel a lot better. I mean if you have to wallow in a space, you much rather have it clean right? (3) Flirt But Protect Your Feelings I am not a big advocate on heading to an online dating site right after a breakup, especially if you're a serial monogamist. I believe in taking some time out, healing and then diving into whatever you like. If you don't heal, you'll probably end up hurting the next person you're with. Having said that, I think it's absolutely okay to get out there, meet new people and let your light shine brightly again. Although while doing that, be careful to absolutely protect your heart. You're vulnerable right now, you're prone to get hurt again and you really don't want to go down that road. So, don't commit to anything and keep your heart at bay and just have some harmless or adulterated fun, instead. (4) Look At Being Single As An Opportunity Yes, look at being single as a great opportunity. It's time to reconnect with yourself and assess the relationships in your life. Spend time doing things you wouldn't have while with someone and finding new relationships that give your life a new meaning. During this time, you'll also figure the difference between 'wanting' a partner and 'needing' a partner, according to Monica Parikh. Which means, you don't need to compromise on your needs and wants and whatever you find befitting after spending a good amount of time deliberating on it, you should go for it. The most important thing though is to find ways to keep yourself happy during this phase. (5) Spend Time With Your Friends Sometimes, people can drive you out of your misery. And if you have a good set of friends who look out for you, then use their help to get by. Ask them for an hour of their time and just talk to them about how you're feeling. If they're good friends, they'll allow you to grieve with them. Don't bottle your feelings and use their listening skills aptly. Go out as frequently as you can with them. Either for dinners and movies or at bars to check out women and indulge in some harmless flirting. Whatever you do, have them by your side because if you go through this alone, it'll definitely get tougher and you'll be miserable. It's good to have company when times are tough. You can also spend a lot of time with family and pets as long as you have someone by your side when you need them to be. Being recently single isn't easy at all, but it can get easy once you consciously start letting go of the old pattern and invest in a bunch of new habits, that'll take you out of the downward spiral you've been stuck in. Enjoy your singlehood as much as you can because you never know who you'd meet again, right around the corner!

  19. The indie music scene here in India has evolved leaps and bounds in the last decade, and we have been witness to the grand shows that Nucleya, Hari & Sukhmani, MadBoy/Mink et al. have put up. These artists have recreated music and presented heady blends of vocals and musical notes, good enough to make a name and place for themselves in the commercial space, apart from delivering marvellous euphonies that can make your heart sing. But there is a different format of music in the indie music space that is slowly yet steadily gaining recognition and has been garnering a major fan following in India and that is the acapella music, which has been a popular genre of music worldwide for a long time. For those of you who may not be well aware of what acapella means, it is to sing without instrumental accompaniments but often complemented by beatboxing, as demonstrated in the popular movie 'Pitch Perfect'. While there are numerous acapella bands that are hugely popular around the globe and have been there for the longest time, here we chart out 6 of the most awesome Indian acapella groups that you must check out, if music is your drug: 1. RaagaTrippin' Touted to be India's very first Bollywood acapella group, they can create some of the most stunning renditions of Bollywood songs. Based out of aamchi Mumbai, the group is made up of seven superb talents namely, Gwen Dias, Suzanne D'Mello, Thomson Andrews, Gary Misquitta, Alan De Souza, Keshia Braganza and Leon De Souza. They ace the Jazz genre and have even performed with the 'Godfather of Indian Jazz' Louis Banks. 2. Voctronica Formed in 2011, Voctronica is said to be 'India's first beatboxing and vocal ensemble' and is based out of Mumbai. Fame came knocking at their door when their cover of 'Alt-J' went viral across social media platforms in 2015. The vocalists in this group are Warsha Easwar, Avinash Tewari, Meghana Bogle, Raj Verma, Clyde Rodrigues and Arjun Nair. Their music is upbeat and a mix of various genres. Last year they even collaborated with composer and singer Amit Trivedi for the Radio Mirchi Music Awards. 3. Penn Masala They need no introduction because whether you are into acapella or not, you must have stumbled across one of their videos on Facebook or Instagram. Penn Masala is one of the first South Asian acapella groups which was established way back in 1996 by Indian students in the University of Pennsylvania. Their western-Bollywood music medleys are to die for, while their simple Hindi music renditions also sound wonderful. They have also appeared in 'Pitch Perfect 2'. 4. No Treble Still making their space in the arena is this Bangalore based acapella group that started as a college level acapella team. They are into English and Bollywood music but also like to take up regional tunes. Their gigs have been well received by the audience but they haven't been very active online. The group also performed in the reality TV show 'India Banega Manch' on Colors TV. They have potential and we hope they find their moment of glory soon. 5. Aflatunes Another Mumbai based acapella group, this one isn't meant to be taken lightly. The name of their group is exactly what you should be expecting the group to whip up. The seven-member band comprises of both singers and beatboxers named Anish Nair, Dany Marshal, Jaimish Ashar, Ruchee Varghese, Nilay Singh, Pearl Alex and Joel Mathew. They have performed in numerous events including performances on the Rolling Stone Stage. 6. Vox Chord The Chennai based acapella group, Vox Chord came into the public eye when last year they sang an acapella version of Pakistan's national anthem Quami Taranah, as a gift on their Independence Day. The Twitterati on both the sides of the border applauded their soulful rendition. The group consists of three main singers, Alex Samuel Jenito, Vandana Mazan and Vaishnavi Kannan besides other artists who collaborate too. Beautiful, right?
  20. In what began as a promise of a sensational turnaround, the fourth Test eventually led to disappointment and heartbreak for the Indian cricket team as their dreams of scripting a historic series win over England went up in flames. Despite putting their best foot forward early in the penultimate game, Virat Kohli's men couldn't thwart the English side from securing a 60-run win and, in the process, sealing the five-match Test series. While many rued the incompetence of Ravichandran Ashwin on a track where England spinner Moeen Ali took nine wickets across two innings, KL Rahul's misfortunes at the top was undoubtedly a highly-debated topic after India's loss at the Ageas Bowl. The Karnataka cricketer was undone by Stuart Broad in both the innings on the mediocre scores of 19 and 0. But, Rahul's troubles weren't just restricted to the fourth Test. In fact, for an opener who has been backed by his captain and selectors to play all the matches in the series so far (a luxury that has eluded other Indian openers), the right-hander has only mustered 113 runs in eight innings at an average of 14.12. © Reuters One of the highly-rated openers in India's next generation of cricketers, Rahul cut a sorry figure after amassing paltry individual scores of 17 and 18 in the first two Tests. He showed signs of improvement in the third Test at Trent Bridge, as he looked more comfortable at the crease and played with intent. But, the Indian batsman just couldn't capitalise on his starts (23 & 36) and convert them into big scores. If the lack of runs has made a batsman of his calibre look mediocre, the way Rahul has been dismissed in the series has sadly affected his reputation as well. Apart from his outing at Trent Bridge, where he got some runs, the 26-year-old has looked out of sorts against the rampant England seamers. Though many felt that his dismissal in the second innings at the Ageas Bowl couldn't be avoided since the ball kept really low, but had Rahul got a stride forward maybe he could have managed to defend the ball - a valid point made by the great Geoffrey Boycott in the commentary box during the game. In the last 13 innings outside the subcontinent, Rahul has scored a mere 171 runs - another telling stat that once again fails to do justice to this immense talent. There has been almost no feet movement from Rahul during his stay at the crease in the series. The right-hander's balance is shaky, while his body language eludes confidence which has further raised doubts over his batting abilities in foreign conditions. © Reuters The other Indian opener - Shikhar Dhawan - hasn't done anything great either, but such has been Rahul's troubles in the series that it makes his batting partner look good in comparison. Though we hope these failures pave way for Rahul to improve and grow as a batsman, there will be no surprise to see him losing his spot for the final Test in London. With the prospects of a historic series win down the drain, the Indian captain and the selectors must use the fifth Test as an opportunity to groom someone like Prithvi Shaw, who has been rising through the ranks on the back of consistent performances. While his inexperience on the international stage might not do justice to his capabilities, Shaw's strokeplay and footwork had many calling him a prodigy followed by comparisons with legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Shaw was roped in for the India A squad that travelled to England earlier in July. Despite his brilliant batting performances in the domestic circuit, many doubted Shaw's ability to deliver the goods in the tough English conditions. But, contrary to popular perception, Shaw's performances - despite being overshadowed by the FIFA World Cup - have been hard to overlook. © Reuters He slammed a gritty 62 against England A in the first unofficial Test at Worcester and then followed it up with a brilliant second-innings 188 against West Indies A at Beckenham. In the match against West Indies A at Northampton, Shaw hammered his way to another hundred in India A's 203-run win. And, last month, he slammed 136 against England A where he added 277 for the first wicket with Mayank Agarwal. It was his efficiency in the English conditions that eventually saw him being included in the Indian squad for the last two Tests. And, while India understandably didn't take any chances by changing the playing XI in a bid to level the series at the Ageas Bowl, it is almost imminent that Shaw is given an opportunity in the fifth Test. And, even if the series is lost, India can still procure some positives before ending their long tour of England.

  22. The incessant torrential rains that continue to threaten more lives and the grey clouds that loom large over the southern state of Kerala, have been giving the locals, the government and the country many a reason to worry and lose sleep. The unauthorised encroachments on the forest cover to mass deforestation and lack of concern towards the forest resources in the state are being blamed for the fatal floods, which have already claimed over 160 lives in Kerala, according to the latest reports. Areas Of Concern © Twitter The central and northern parts of Kerala have been affected the worst by the unceasing rainfall over the last few days. The death toll is on the rise even as we read about it and the floods are now being seen as a man-made disaster. 14 districts in the state continue to be on high alert with the gates of 35 out of a total of 39 dams being let open - a first in the history of the state. Flight and train operations have been put on hold due to excessive flooding and landslides. The Southern Railways has cancelled or rescheduled more than 25 trains in Kerala and while the water level in the Periyar river continues to rise, the Kochi Airport is submerged in water and operations have been suspended till the 26th. What The Experts Say © Twitter Renowned environmental scientist Madhav Gadgil has spoken out, claiming that the flood in Kerala occurred due to the unreliable environmental policies that have been put in place. He also expressed that if the Gadgil committee report for the protection of Western Ghats was paid heed to by the Kerala government, this havoc could have been controlled. He has also put substantial blame on quarrying for the landslides that are also plaguing the state. Losses That Are Increasing By The Day © Reuters Locals in Kerala continue to suffer as the water level continues to rise. The unceasing rains have claimed many lives by swallowing houses and destroying roadways. Numerous instances of losses have surfaced over the last few days. During a mudslide at Kolappad on Thursday, a woman was killed when her house gave way under the onslaught. In another incident, 9 lives were taken away by a landslide in Vazhakkad on the afternoon of Wednesday, while the lives of a 6-year-old and her parents were lost, as the family was buried in their sleep in Pulikkal, when their house collapsed on Wednesday morning due to a landslide. More than one and a quarter lakh people have been shifted to approximately 1165 shelters around Kerala and another 4000 families have been evacuated from the areas around the 123-year-old Mullaperiyar dam - a displacement arising out of the loss to precious lives and property. A Call For Help Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the situation remained unchanged seeking help and resources. The Prime Minister immediately responded with a press note stating that immediate help shall be put into effect and he is also set to visit Kerala today and undertake an aerial survey of the flood-hit state on Saturday. 23. It's an unsaid fact, but most girls like it when boys come over and flirt with them. Flirting is a definite healthy way to interact with someone from the opposite ***, if you're doing it right that is. But there's a really thin line between healthy and harmless flirting and flirting where you seem like a creep to her. Sometimes you can get a little ahead of yourself and come off as disrespectful or unknowingly creepy when you do approach a girl intending to flirt with her. But remember, there's a big difference between using a dirty pick-up line and having a proper conversation with a woman. © 20th Television Respecting a woman and her boundaries is the right way to go about flirting with a woman. You can flirt all the way and win her heart by just maintaining some rules. Here's the simplest way to flirt with women, if you keep these rules in mind: Rule No. 1: Play It Right The fear of rejection, while approaching a woman, looms high and it can scare you into talking to any woman. But you need to understand, that rejection is a part of life and the only way to probably avoid it, is if you approach her politely and respectfully, rather than worrying about being funny or using a cheesy pick-up line. Just be yourself and have a real conversation and she won't reject you in the first go. Believe me, a lot of women actually like a guy to just approach them with a simple 'hey, how's it going?' rather than 'are you hurt? Because it seems like you've fallen from heaven' kinda cheesy stuff. If she does reject you, it could be because she's not looking to meet new people or is just busy and unavailable. That in no way is a cue for 'try harder'. That just means you leave her alone. Trust me, you'll know when she wants you to try harder and it's not 'I am really not looking to meet someone tonight' or 'I am out with the girls tonight, sorry'. Never take rejection to heart and act out of anger by becoming egoistic about it. You tried and she wasn't really interested. That's all. Move on! Always play your cards right. Rule No. 2: Maintain Eye Contact To know if she's interested in you and to keep her interest in you alive, always maintain eye contact with her. Not in a creepy way that'll make her uncomfortable, of course. Eye contact is a window to intrigue her further and lets her know subtly, that you're into her. Always smile, every time your eyes meet. It's best to maintain eye contact even before you start a conversation. This brings about confidence in you if she meets your gaze from afar. Rule No. 3: Observe, Don't Stare Always observe the woman you're hitting on. Observe how she gestures, what her body language is like, the way she talks, what she does subconsciously. It helps you know your moves a little bit in advance, depending on your astute powers of observation, of course. Just don't stare at her. There's a difference between observing someone and staring at them and if you don't know what that is, I can't help you bud. Rule No. 4: Always Keep A Smile Your smile is a warm giveaway of the fact that you're interested in her and you'd love to get to know her better. Even if you suck at flirting, just keep a charming smile alive on your face. It delivers a lot of confidence and exuberance and she'll know you're a pleasant guy, just trying your best to flirt and she'll definitely help you out. It's true what they say, a smile can really go a long way. Rule No. 5: Be A Good Listener Sometimes, women really dislike the fact that you keep talking to prove yourself to them. That's why it's imperative to listen as much as you talk. Being a good listener is a healthy habit and if you're just about getting to know her, then don't be all about yourself. In fact, ask her questions and learn to listen to what she says. If she sees you interested in her banter, she will definitely want to talk to you more. Rule No. 6: Approach Her Normally It's time to approach her and don't make it seem like a movie, waiting for the music to start playing, while you go in slo-mo, and everyone stares at you. Nope, that's not how it's done, mate. Just be confident, maintain that eye-contact and that smile and start with the simplest opening line like 'hey'! Rule No. 7: Appropriate Touching Is Good Don't get me wrong. I don't mean touch her and make her feel uncomfortable, but some sort of bodily contact is important to establish a connection and affection. Obviously, if she's uncomfortable, don't do it. Like this one time, I was out with a girl who had the perfect curls and I couldn't resist touching her hair or playing with them and she got so uncomfortable with that, that instead of asking me to stop, she ended our date! Well, you only learn from your mistakes, don't you? So maybe keep brushing your arm against her every once in a while. If it's a crowded bar, walk behind her and keep your hand at the small of her back. Not too low, or too high, just perfectly in the middle so you can guide her through the crowd. Touch establishes being comfortable yet flirtatious around someone. So, here are the 7 crucial rules to follow when it comes to flirting with someone you've just met. If you think you've been doing it wrong, with 0 success rate, now you know why. Keep these things in mind and you're golden with the ladies!
  24. Right from desk jockeys to gym monkeys, almost everyone complains of lower back pain. Blame it on the lack of exercise for desk jobbers and overlooking lower back exercises for gym goers. With this article, I break down 4 of the best exercises that everybody must do to keep lower back pain at bay: 1) Pull Through © YouTube This exercise is great for the glutes. This also teaches you to hinge your hips correctly, which eventually assists in weightlifting, jumping, sprinting and not to mention, humping. This exercise is so effective that you will find its mention in most of the powerlifting accessory movement programs. Another good thing about this exercise is that it`s fairly easy to learn and doesn`t strain your lower back. Make your glutes stronger via this exercise and you will see your squat or deadlift numbers rocket up. Use moderate weights and please, no grunting on this exercise. 2) Back Extensions © YouTube You can do this exercise on a regular bench with the help of a partner or on a hyperextension bench by yourself. Doing it on a hyperextension bench is generally better due to additional ROM. Keeping your glutes stationary on the pad, you can work on isolating your lower back. This exercise is also great for warming up before a heavy deadlift or squat session. Once you have mastered the basic version, you can add resistance in the form of a weight plate or a dumbbell. And if you still feel they are very easy for you, try using a barbell with a wide grip and add load as per your capacity. 3) Floor Hip Extensions © YouTube The best thing about this exercise is that you can do it anywhere to train your glutes and hamstrings (a little). At home, the office, or a park, literally anywhere since it doesn`t require any equipment and is perfect for beginners too. How to do it:- 1. Support yourself on your elbows and one knee. The other knee should be lifted slightly off the floor and just behind the supporting leg. 2. Contract your glutes while you fully extend your leg. Return to starting position. 3. Use ankle weights if it is very easy for you. 4) Rack Pulls © YouTube Also known as deadlift from the knees, this exercise is very common among powerlifters and strongmen. And when I mention Powerlifters and Strongmen, we are talking about the people who have a bulletproof back that can handle 100`s of kilos on deadlift, squats and farmer walks. It is also one of the very few hardcore lower back exercises that you can do. You can always add weight to the bar as per your level of experience and strength. Daman Singh is an internationally certified sports Nutritionist and an athlete competes in Strongman and powerlifting without the aid of Anabolics .He also runs a YouTube channel named :- SIKHSPACK and you can follow him on Instagram and trains Drug free population .
  25. Men, let me tell you one thing. Women check you out even before agreeing to go out on a date with you, and if you fail in their style or 'presence' meter, you're not making it anywhere with them. First impressions go all the way and you wouldn't want to fail in that department now, would you? When you get dressed in the morning, you obviously want to look good for yourself and make yourself irresistible to the ladies. That will only happen with two things- always listen to the ladies in your life about style, and stop wearing jeans that are tighter than JLo's butt. © Facebook We rounded up 12 women and asked them about the sexiest, most attractive things men can wear or don (thank us later?) and here's what they had to say : A Nice Fitted Suit © Eros International "I like a man who can fit into a nice suit and show his body off. Of course, he needs to be lean and have a decent body to show it off through his suit. I don't like men who dress up scruffy, especially for a formal occasion or wear loose clothes. I mean, what's the deal with cargo shorts and a tee that hangs on you like you're a hanger"? - Priyanjali, 32. A Pair Of Nice Boxers © Thinkstock "I am a big sucker for men in their boxers. Yeah, it's probably the same as men having a thing for women in their underwear, but this is different. I'd like my man to roam about the house in nothing but boxers and it would turn me on, instantly! I think boxers should become a legit thing to wear outdoors"! - Kritika, 30 White Tee & Jeans © Pinterest "This fetish for seeing men in a white T-shirt and jeans started with my obsession with John Abraham and I fall weak on my knees when I see any man dressed like that. Support the jeans with a good belt and you're golden!" - Khushboo, 29 A Pair Of Good Sneakers © Pinterest "Basic good sneakers can go a long way and can be pulled off with a pair of cargos or denims even. I am not too big a fan of colourful sneakers but a basic black or white would do. Even a good pair of Converse is quite cool on a guy". - Hinakshi, 23 A Pink Tee/Shirt © Twitter "For me, pink is associated with positive emotions and if a guy can pull the colour off, it's really sexy. A nice light/baby pink shirt looks remarkable on a man. Who says pink is only meant for girls?" - Deepti, 28 Chinos © Pinterest "It's a refreshing change to see a man in a pair of well-fitted chinos, than the regular denims or pants. Khakhi chinos look really amazing on men and if they have a great butt, it's a double whammy"! - Akanksha, 33 Polo T-Shirts © Paramount Pictures "I like men in Polo tees and prefer them to v-necks or round necks any day. They look comfortable, stylish and suave, all at the same time. They're also the best thing to wear if you want to experiment with different colours." - Harshleen, 25 A Pair Of Aviators © Twitter "Oh man, whenever I see a guy in aviators, I just want to go right up ahead and get to know him better! They look so hot on men and they're the most stylish, old-school things that will never lose their charm! A man walking down the street in a pair of good aviators is surely going to turn some heads around" - Mansi, 35 A V-Neck Sweater © Yash Raj Films "I have a thing for men in solid v-neck sweaters. I think they look rather classy with denims or with a pair of pants even and it can be used for both formal and informal wear. Solid colours define the actual taste of a man. So, if I see a man in a nice blue v-neck, I'll definitely check him out"! - Gauri, 24 A Black Henley © Pinterest "Henley's are cool and can be worn with anything, from shorts, to cargos, to denims to even pants. It's a step up from a t-shirt and great for casual weekend wear, I think. Guys pulling off a Henley look darn confident. I LOVE the colour black, so a black one does the trick pretty well" - Prachi, 27 Rolled Sleeves © Twitter "I love men who roll their shirt sleeves up and show their forearms off. Boy, that's such a turn on! It just makes it seem like he's kicking back and relaxing after doing some rugged work all day. I always insist my man on rolling his sleeves up, haha"! - Natasha, 30 Mufflers & Beanies "Men in winters have to look warm fuzzy and hot, all at the same time. They should be like a cup of nice warm tea. Making you feel really good! I love men wearing caps, hoodies and beanies for the winter with a nice warm muffler. They look so tempting"! - Trisha, 29 So, there we have it. 12 women revealing what looks the most attractive to them in a man, in terms of accessories and clothing. Wear this stuff in front of them, and you're golden. Apart from these clothes, you need two more things though. An ounce of confidence and a smile that lights your face up, to match your outfit!
