  1. We all know of the lavish lifestyle lived by one of the most famed boxers ever, Mike Tyson. It's definitely a lot different than what it used to be in his boxing heydays. In 2016, Tyson set up his own company called Tyson Holistic Holdings, which sells all types of cannabis-based products and merchandise. But now, the retired heavyweight champion is focusing all his efforts on a new project, which is a 407-acre marijuana holiday resort in Southern California. © Pintrest The resort will definitely be home to a lot of attractions like a huge lazy river, and the 'Kind Music Festival', which Tyson and his partner Rob Hickman describe as 'the Lollapalooza Cannabis'. Although Tyson's ranch isn't completely built yet, the festival took place on February 2019 and did magnificently well. The festival gave people a chance to listen to some good live music, smoke some marijuana and learn about the health benefits of cannabis. The ranch, whose construction is underway, aims at accommodating the growing cannabis tourism industry with a hotel and 200 'glamping' units. © Tyson Ranch "I thought about how much good I could do by helping people with cannabis. It was a no-brainer. I've been fighting for over 20 years, and my body has a lot of wear and tear. I had two surgeries and I used marijuana to calm my nerves, and it would take the pain away... But before, they had me on those opiates, and those opiates had me all screwed up." said Tyson in an interview with an international publication. Apart from the festival and hosting cannabis tourism, the resort will also focus on imparting knowledge on the health benefits of the drug and how it can be used for health purposes, to cure many ailments and diseases. "He's building a holistic centre for health and wellness. There will be testing in the university. It's going to be about educating people on the healing benefits, how to grow, and how to be in proper business." said Tyson's business partner, Rob Hickman in an interview with an international publication. © Kind Music Festival While marijuana or pot is used a lot recreationally, it has a lot of health benefits which we aren't aware of. Mostly, people, and by people I mean authorities, think it's used to get 'high' but medical marijuana has been used a lot in the past to cure a lot of physiological issues, sometimes even cancer. Hemp oils are extensively used in cancer research. But unfortunately, in India, which is one of the biggest exporters of Hashish, the use of this drug is banned all over, even medically. What Mike Tyson has established is a clean and healthy way to promote something that can be used recreationally and as a health benefit, without causing any harm to the user and we hope we can legalize the drug here, at least medically, so people can benefit from it from time to time.
  2. The verdict is finally here. Well, almost. The day of the final judgement, if you will, has declared the fate of our beloved country for the next five years. Most national news channels have been up and running since 6 AM this morning, throwing out data and figures our way, from the recently concluded rounds of polling, and by 12 noon today the Indian subcontinent knew all too well what's in store. © Getty Images We have chosen our leader for the next five years, and that too by a whopping majority. With over 300 seats to itself in the Lok Sabha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is basically enjoying a clean sweep (yet again) win across the country. While the country has stepped out to celebrate the big win along with the winning party, how could our neighbouring nation stay behind? Sure enough, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, took to Twitter to congratulate PM Narendra Modi and NDA on their big win. I congratulate Prime Minister Modi on the electoral victory of BJP and allies. Look forward to working with him for peace, progress and prosperity in South Asia — Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) May 23, 2019 However, what caught people's attention was the fact that Imran Khan, once again, expressed his desire to take up peace talks with India, and work towards a progressive and prosperous future. © Twitter This is coming just over a month after the Pakistan PM said during a press conference that he believes there may be a better chance of peace talks with India, if Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) win the elections. © Twitter We are all for sharing amicable and friendly ties with Pakistan, who only seem like an extension of India in a lot of ways, given our shared history together. On multiple occasions, we have heard about how the common people on both sides of the LOC share their desire to live on friendly terms with each other, and for once, we dearly hope Pakistan will walk the talk and help establish strong, peaceful ties between the two countries.
  3. The season of Ramadan is here and you may be already sweating about your gains. You may be thinking to yourself, "how do I keep making gains during this month?" or "am I going to lose all my gains during Ramadan?" Gaining muscle may be a difficult thing to do during this month as your strength, recovery, food, sleep, etc. may be compromised during this month. But this does not mean you have to lose all your gains. © Getty Images If you do things smartly, which I am going to discuss here, you can protect your gains during this month. Here are a few practical tips and a free workout sample that you could follow during Ramadan: 1. Train After Having A Meal I know many people promote the idea of training before Iftaar and then getting on with the celebrations, but I am not a fan of that. The idea sounds great logistically but training when you have fasted without any fluids for 16 to 18 hours is not a good idea. I suggest my clients have a small meal for Iftaar, like three dates, a protein shake and half a litre of water and get a small training session in. If you still feel lethargic, a carb drink could be added intra-workout, though it is not needed in most cases. The training has to be short and sweet and done intentionally. Once done, you have the rest of the evening. 2. Do Full Body Splits The goal for you this month is to maintain muscle. Gaining can be quite difficult as you may not eat enough calories, or be able to progressively overload, or get adequate sleep or all of these things. © Getty Images For maintaining muscle, you need to provide adequate stimulus to your muscles. Keep your sets within the 8 to 15 rep ranges and rest for 1-2 minute between sets. You can workout on alternate days (3 sessions a week) as you are doing full body splits. Sample workout plan: Session 1 Squat - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Romanian Deadlifts - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Decline Bench Press - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Lat Pulldowns - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Session 2 Bench Press - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Seated Rows - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Lunges - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Tricep Pushdowns - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Session 3 Barbell Rows - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Incline Bench Press - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Reverse Grip Pull-ups - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps Bicep Curls - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps 3. Skip Cardio Unless you are preparing for a marathon or a Spartan race, which you should not be doing ideally along with 18-hour fasts, cardio could be a bad idea. It can be taxing, fatiguing and hampering your recovery. If you love doing cardio, go on light walks after your dinner instead. This is how you can maintain your gains during Ramadan and change gears once the fasting is done and move to your next goal. 4. I love to travel, and thanks to my job, I am on the go for the most part of the year. It's fun mostly, albeit there are times it can get quite hectic, especially if it's a last minute plan. Now I have been doing this for a while. When I had started out, I had made quite a lot of mistakes each time I travelled. But you know how they always say - practice makes one perfect. In my case, I can safely say I have perfected the art of planning a last-moment trip without losing my calm. Here's what I do. 1. Keep A Travel Bag Ready With All The Basics One thing that I learnt from my round-the-clock, sudden work trips is to always keep a travel bag ready with bare minimum necessities - toiletries, laptop, pair of socks, trousers, sunglasses, and two ironed shirts. If you are on the go, it's better you find a way to save as much time as you can. And take it from a person with experience, you don't want to waste 30 minutes on packing when you have an urgent flight to catch. 2. Buy A Travel Insurance Under 60 Seconds About 20% of frequent flyers buy their travel insurance last minute, and there is a lot of hassle in getting one. I am one of those people. And if you relate to this too, there is a news for you that will come to you as a huge relief. Reliance General Insurance has made it possible for customers to buy travel insurance under 60 seconds. How you ask? Say hello to an NFC-enabled digital innovation way where you simply tap your smartphone on the NFC tags. This 'Tap and Buy' innovation has been introduced in Delhi International Airport, and about 46 screens are available to use the facility. Trust me, it has made my life so much easier, and my trips less hectic. Let me explain how you can make the most of this facility. All you have to do is tap your NFC-enabled smartphone on one NFC tags placed at one of the 46 kiosks at Delhi Airport. The moment you do that, your phone will be prompted to open WhatsApp and you can buy your travel insurance in less than a minute. Isn't that cool? And hey, I am not the only one who is vouching for this innovation. Turns out, Bollywood singer, Sukhbir Singh too is a big fan. See what he has to say about this. View this post on Instagram It's definitely a relief to know great things happen when technology meets insurance. Kudos to Reliance Travel Insurance for doing this man! Thank you guys! To all my friends, I definitely recommend you try these Tap & Buy NFC Portals where I bought my Travel Insurance last minute. I found these portals at T3 Delhi International Airport for anyone who's travelling & has forgotten Travel Insurance just like me! #RelianceGeneralInsurance #LiveSmart #RelianceTravelInsurance #TravelGram #TravelHolic #TravelSafe #GigLife #Exciting #Different #NFC #Kudos #TechnologyOfIndia #InstaTech #SmartTechnology #NewYorkCity #Tap #Buy #Insurance #Security #DigitalInnovation A post shared by Sukhbir (@sukhbir_singer) on Apr 20, 2019 at 11:13am PDT 3. Have A Reliable Travel Agent Picture this. You have your business meeting in 24 hours. You have to fly out in the next eight hours. There is a time crunch. And of course, an immense amount of stress. What I do in such scenarios is I make a travel agent work for me and help me ease the burden. Travel agents are great when it comes to accountability, and getting amazing deals at the last moment. Just give your preferences, and they will do your bookings, get your meals in place, and get you your preferred seat. Besides, you get to save a lot of time. Right? 4. Contact Hotels Directly A lot of people book hotels online. Of course, it does help in saving a lot of time but it really doesn't help when it comes to saving money. The smart way, according to me, is to contact the hotel directly, and BARGAIN till you get a deal which works for you. 5. Make Use Of Discounts, Offers & Miles When I am running out of time, I usually forget about the discounts and coupons I have earned from my past travels. I mean, it does slip your mind, doesn't it? But now, I am a little wise, and a little careful. If you have coupons lying idle, use it judiciously. And lastly, no matter where you travel, whether for work or leisure, remember to enjoy your fullest.
  5. We are less than two weeks away from experiencing the end of an era when the final piece of the current phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, 'Avengers: Endgame' drops in theatres worldwide on 26th April 2019 and nerdy people like us from all around the world have dedicated their lives to predict what the three-hour long movie has in store for us. Such a responsibility, therefore, leads to the formation of numerous theories and speculations ranging from “meh” to absolutely bizarre reactions from the audience and a seemingly endless flow of discussion. One such theory talks about the final outcome of 'Endgame' and the role of Doctor Stephen Strange, who's currently in the 'dust' form on Thanos' home planet of Titan. Before Peter Quill a.k.a. the main reason behind the destruction of half the universe, decided to ruin the ad hoc Avengers' plan to get the Infinity gauntlet out of Thanos' hand, Strange spoke of about 1,40,00,605 scenarios in the future and that there was only one favourable possibility for all of humanity. And during the events of 'Infinity War', Doctor Strange was forced to choose between the life of Tony Stark and his beloved Time Stone and he decided to keep Iron Man alive while giving the Infinity stone to the 'Mad Titan'. Strange later told Stark that it was important for him to stay alive if that one possibility were to come true. via GIPHY Now, if you rewatch the scene from the movie when Strange gives the Time Stone to Thanos, you'd notice that it is glowing and that too not a dull, smouldering glow but the kind each of the stones glow when they are being actively used. via GIPHY This suggests that Stephen Strange might be using the Time stone while surrendering it, maybe even to create a time loop as he did to trap Dormammu and protect the rest of the planet from danger in “real-time”. A couple of months ago, a Redditor by the name of RahulVijh had forward a theory according to which Strange had trapped the Avengers and Thanos in a similar time loop at this point to ensure that they finally reach that one outcome, regardless of how many retakes goes into getting there. The glowing of the stone, therefore, might signal the starting point of the loop. What also gives this argument further weightage is how the trailers for 'Endgame' have been including a lot of footage from the previous movies in the timeline. Also, directors, Anthony and Joseph Russo have admitted to tweaking some clips from older movies to make them look a little different than each other, suggesting all the minor differences that may have occurred in the various times that particular event took place. via GIPHY The more you pay attention to the theory, the more sense it makes and with Dr Strange probably being the only person on the good guys' side, who has the ability to see the future outcomes, the conjecture might be worth putting some thought into.
  6. Netflix, as we all know, has strong local competition in some countries. Specifically, in India, the streaming service is trying unusual experiments such as low-cost mobile only plan to win people. On the same lines, Netflix is now testing Rs. 65 mobile-only weekly subscription plan in the country. That's right, Netflix is now testing a new plan in India, under which the users can now sign up for as low as Rs. 65 per week and access the entire catalogue of films and TV shows on the platform. It is, however, worth pointing out that this particular weekly plan does not offer HD or Ultra HD content. You'll have to shell out more for that. But hey, we're not really complaining, because it's the platform's cheapest plan. © Hindustan Times In an official statement, Netflix said, “We are always looking for ways to make Netflix more enjoyable and accessible. We will be testing different options in select countries where members can, for example, watch Netflix on their mobile device for a lower price and subscribe in shorter increments of time. Not everyone will see these options and we may never roll out these specific plans beyond the tests.” In addition to the Rs. 65 plan, Netflix also has three more weekly plans priced at Rs. 125, Rs. 165, and Rs. 200. Rs. 125 is the weekly version of the basic plan. It adds an extra screen to watch your content on. Alternatively, you can also opt for Rs. 165 or Rs. 200 plan and pay per week for extra screens and stream at better quality. © Unsplash Please note that these weekly plans are not yet live for all the users in the country as it's just an 'experiment' according to Netflix, but we think it's only a matter of time until these weekly plans go official.
  7. Every bodybuilder you may see on bodybuilding websites, magazines, etc. advocates to spend hours and hours in the gym, 6 days per week, train one to two muscle groups every day to get muscular. A couple of things that you should understand before following them: 1. They are getting paid to advocate this and workout 6 days per week for 3 hours straight. 2. You cannot afford to do that. © YouTube You may be a college student or a working professional. You may have a job to go to on a regular basis or classes to attend. If you start going to the gym 6 days a week for 2 hours, it will negatively impact your job or college. Does this mean you cannot make gains? Absolutely NOT! To build muscle, you need: 1. To create a mechanical overload aka lift weights and get stronger. 2. Train your muscle groups 2 to 3x per week to build more muscle as a natural lifter. 3. Increase training volume with time. 4. Be consistent. Consistency trumps everything here. Essentially, you need a plan that promotes consistency and it fulfils the other factors. To do this with a busy schedule, you can start doing full body splits 3x per week. How Does A Full Body Split Work? A full body split is a workout where you train all the major muscle groups using compound exercises and throw in some accessory work. The compound exercises activate more muscle per unit time and give the added benefit of elevated muscle protein synthesis (MPS). © Pixabay A sample split would look like this: Day 1: Squat - 3 sets of 6 to 8 reps Romanian Deadlift - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps Machine Chest Press - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps Lat Pulldowns - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps Farmers Walk - 3 sets of 50 meters Day 3: Bench Press - 3 sets of 6 to 8 reps Seated Rows - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps Lunges - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps Back Extensions - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps Abs and Calves - 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps Day 5: Deadlifts - 3 sets of 6 to 8 reps Incline Press - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps Lat Prayers - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps Tricep pushdowns - 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps Bicep Curls - 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps Apart from the elevated muscle protein synthesis rates, the other benefits of a full body split are: 1. It saves time. 2. It helps you recover better. 3. It helps you build a good amount of muscle. 4. It increases the rate of fat loss by increasing energy expenditure. 5. It fits in your schedule. So, if you are short on time, have long working hours or have long study hours, stop listening to the competitive bodybuilder and program your training in a way that you can stick to and you make gains. 8. I started my fat loss journey when I was in college due to two things. First was to stop being teased for the way I looked and the second one being that I wanted to prove a point to everyone that it is you who is in charge of your own fitness if you are really serious about it. A lot of college dudes give a very similar reason to not go on a diet and focus on fat loss. The reason usually is that 'I cannot diet as it is EXPENSIVE.' This is a stupid reason and in this article, I will show you that if you really plan things well, setting up a fat loss diet is not that expensive. If you are a college-going student, there is a good chance that you have a slightly active lifestyle. The diet given below of 1700 kcals will benefit almost anyone who follows it. Certain dudes will have to increase or decrease their calorie intake due to individual factors. © Pixabay Let's assume you go to the college in the morning from 9 AM to 3 PM. Let's break down your day into 3 meals and 2 snacks. Breakfast - 1 whole egg + 3 egg whites + 1 banana or any other fruit Lunch - A chicken sandwich + 1 cold coffee Pre-workout - Half a scoop of Whey protein + 1 fruit Post-workout - Another half scoop of Whey + 200 ml double toned milk Dinner - Soya/Chicken Pulav made with 150 grams of chicken or 75 grams of soya chunks and some veggies Here is a calorie, macro and cost breakdown of the meal plan mentioned above: And before you go ahead and brand this as expensive, one coffee at Starbucks costs 350 rupees. © YouTube A couple of bonus tips: 1. Do not waste your money on supplements. Read this piece. 2. Give sleep an equal priority as that can screw your progress. Read this piece to optimize sleep. 9. You are a busy dude with a very hectic schedule. You want to hit the gym consistently and your work does not give you the liberty to do so. And even if you make it to the gym, you just do not have the energy to endure a grueling 1.5-hour session for the day. What do you do then? Is getting in shape, not an option for you at all? Do not worry, I got you. In this article, I will share with you a training split that will let you be out of the gym in 45-minutes while getting the work done. How To Do It Perform all the exercises for 8 to 15 reps in a circuit fashion with minimal rest (or as needed) between different exercises. Once the circuit is done, rest for 2-3 minutes and repeat the circuit as mentioned below. Exercise 1: Lat Pulldown © Thinknstock Sets: 3 Reps: 8 to 15 Exercise 2: Incline Dumbbell/Machine Chest Press © Pixabay Sets: 3 Reps: 8 to 15 Exercise 3: Leg Press © YouTube Sets: 3 Reps: 8 to 15 Exercise 4: Dumbbell Romanian Deadlifts © YouTube Sets: 3 Reps: 8 to 15 Exercise 5: Bench Press © YouTube Sets: 3 Reps: 8 to 15 Exercise 6: Seated Rows © YouTube Sets: 3 Reps: 8 to 15 Exercise 7: Triceps pushdowns © YouTube Sets: 3 Reps: 8 to 15 Exercise 8: Bicep Curls © Pinterest Sets: 3 Reps: 8 to 15 This circuit repeated three times would not take more than 45 minutes inside the gym. Take a day or two rest between the sessions. That way, you will have to just be inside the gym for 90 to 135 minutes per week. The benefits of this workout: 1. Time-saving, obviously. 2. Good for fat loss, when coupled with a caloric deficit. 3. Can be used during a muscle building phase too. 4. Trains all your major muscles. 5. You do not have to wait for your turn at the gym for long, especially during the busy hours. It is also beneficial to be adequately warmed up before you begin your circuits. A 5-minute cardio walk at a semi-fast speed along with a bit of dynamic stretching at the beginning would definitely help. Also note, having a day or two rest between sessions can be optimal as you will be adequately rested to perform your best during a session. So now a busy schedule will not be an obstacle for you to get into shape. Author bio: Pratik Thakkar is the co-founder and director of GetSetGo Fitness, an online fitness company. 10. Bobby Deol has become the flagbearer of redemption. When it comes to shutting haters up, no one quite managed to do it like Mr Deol Junior, who seems to be all set to score a big century for his second innings in Bollywood, at least going by the 'looks' of it - rather literally. He has never been fitter - even during his prime. On second thoughts, let's just call this phase his prime. He has officially decided to embrace the beast mode, and has been dressing the part, flawlessly so. © Viral Bhayani We feel everyone should take a leaf out of his book on how to embrace a rocking physique, and compliment it sartorially. Here are a few pointers on how to do that. 1. Find out which part of your physique is the most flattering. You'd ideally like to show it off, so you should choose your outfit accordingly. For example, Bobby here clearly is proud of his shoulders and arms, and has accordingly chosen a basic but well-fitting tank top that does justice to all the hard work he has put in the gym. © Viral Bhayani 2. There are days when you feel really confident about your chest and triceps. Wear a fitted shirt, and leave a few buttons open for those days. © Viral Bhayani 3. For days when you don't want to highlight any particular bit, but are feeling fit anyway, go with the basics. A white shirt and blue jeans fit the bill perfectly. © Viral Bhayani 4. And finally, there always will be days when your arms will be all ready to soak in every last bit of attention (that they deserve). Outfit for those days: fitted T-shirt, and either jeans or chinos that fit you like a dream. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani Good going, Bobby!

  18. This is how to make an IPB Feature Plan. Please note that this is not a RIP of IPS', this is my own version, so if you find any variations that is why. If you find any bugs, please comment them below. I will not attempt to fix them, but if someone comments a fix for a bug, I will edit it into this tutorial. Requirements: Pages Application (can be found in funday's copy of IPS 4.x). Basic Knowledge of PHP. A knowledge of the Pages application. Go into your ACP > Pages > Databases. Click Create New to create a new Database. A pop-up will appear. Make sure you are on the Create New Database and click Next. Make the name of your Database whatever you'd like, I suggest Feature Plan. Make the settings exactly as shown in the picture. It's very important to have your Use categories settings set to No. Once you've created your database head over to the Templates section. ACP > Pages > Templates Read carefully from here on because it can be a little tricky if you miss a step. Once you are inside the Templates section click New > Add database template. Here's where you have to be careful and follow my instructions exactly. You will get a pop-up presenting you with a few options. Fill in the options exactly as show in the picture. Under the HTML tab you should see a new folder called Plan with 5 different templates under it. Paste the code provided below in the appropriate template. recordRow: http://pastebin.com/M3GxdMtk filterMessage: http://pastebin.com/2zjxQ6B2 categoryTable: http://pastebin.com/ZF63gtrQ categoryHeader: http://pastebin.com/rSpLb2Cx categoryFooter: http://pastebin.com/UeJtv1T6 Inside the categoryHeader template you should see some non-code text. You can edit that code to change the Title and Subtitle at the top of your Feature Plan. Inside of the recordRow template search for {{if $row->fieldValues()['field_19'] Keep that tab open and open a new tab inside of Pages in the ACP. Click in the fields section of the Feature Plan database. You should see the Status section. Click on the pencil to edit the database. Open notepad or some other text editor. Paste in the URL of the page you just opened. At the end you should see something like do=form&id=19. You need the number at the end of the URL. Mine happens to be 19. Yours might be 125 or it might be 4. Move back to the tab you have open where you located {{if $row->fieldValues()['field_19'] inside of the recordRow template.
