  5. It’s very difficult for comedians to crack a joke without hurting someone’s sentiments. Only a few can actually make people laugh without using any offensive and racist slurs, double-meaning jokes and sexist punchlines. YouTuber Bhuvan Bam, famous for his channel ‘BB Ki Vines’ and one of the most popular content creators on social media, is not exactly known for ‘clean comedy’. He recently found himself in trouble for objectifying women in one of his latest videos ‘Automatic Gaadi’. View this post on Instagram In the video, he goes on to use sexual innuendos to compare women to cars and even mentions ‘pahadi women’ at one time which didn’t sit well with the audience. While some of his fans (mostly men) lauded the comedian for the video and found it funny, others objected to it for being extremely condescending to women. See their reactions here: This is not humour - it’s vulgar misogynistic trash that objectifies women and in particular pahaadi women. https://t.co/zbCjl4Ealx — अद्वैता काला Advaita Kala (@AdvaitaKala) March 30, 2022Not able to understand how some people are still supporting these derogatory and abusive remarks for woman . Seems like mind of these people have become corrupted that they are just considering it a normal funny joke. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!! HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE!! — prateek thakur (@PRATEEK22THAKUR) April 1, 2022Not funny at all...double meaning ke alwawa comedy kar lete ho tab karo..warna slapstick comedy hurt hi karegi...itne bade youtuber ho...sensitivity ka naam suna hain kya ya comedy hain sochkar bhool gaye ho. — Praveen (@Praveennair1982) April 2, 2022Pahadan chalegi !!! Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to @CPDelhi to register FIR & to take strict action in the matter. NCW has also written to Secy, Ministry of Electronics & IT to take appropriate action against the YouTube channel for violating dignity of women — NCW (@NCWIndia) March 31, 2022 Post this, Bhuvan Bam issued an apology from his official Twitter account saying he didn’t intend to hurt anyone and that he has ‘utmost respect for women’. He said that he had removed the offensive content from the video, however, he only omitted the line about ‘pahadi women’ while the rest of the controversial content still remains. I’m aware that a section in my video has hurt some people. I have edited it to remove that part. People who know me know I have utmost respect for women. I had no intention to hurt anyone. A heartfelt apology to everyone whose sentiments have been disregarded. @NCWIndia — Bhuvan Bam (@Bhuvan_Bam) March 31, 2022 Watch the video here. Clearly, this half-baked apology is not enough, given that people are not happy with just the cuts made to the video. View the full article

  7. One of the most talked-about politicians and a Member of Parliament, Congress Rahul Gandhi has always been a topic of discussion, especially among the youth of the country. Perhaps not in the most flattering of ways, but a hot topic nonetheless. And so, today when we saw Rahul Gandhi’s name trending on Twitter, we knew there was a catch. Turns out, the politician has been making rounds on social media ever since a popular parody account of Rahul Gandhi was suspended from the microblogging site yesterday. ‘Rofl Gandhi’ Popular Parody Twitter account of Rahul Gandhi suspended#BringBackRoflGandhi_ #RoflGandhi_ #Twitter https://t.co/pTm2ts4bep — Ground Report (@GReportIndia) March 25, 2022 With an impressive followership of about 679,900 followers, ‘ROFL Gandhi’ is a famous account on Twitter that would often troll politicians like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and even Rahul Gandhi himself. The account was kickstarted back in 2012, which was also when Congress was in power. The account was made with the purpose of taking sly political digs at politicians and gained a lot of popularity in just a short time. From etching out memes to doling out political satires, ROFL Gandhi was a hit among the masses. One of its main and consistent targets being Rahul Gandhi. Nothing can be more ironic, shameful & dangerous than this!! An anonymous troll digs my 10yr old tweets & stalks my children & guess who is encouraging him & liking his tweets?? Chairperson of Delhi Commission for protection of Child rights @AnuragKunduAK himself!! SHAME!!! pic.twitter.com/Blv3qfCDDZ — Priti Gandhi - प्रीति गांधी (@MrsGandhi) September 14, 2020 There were also plenty of controversies that arose along the way, one in particular when in 2020 a BJP Mahila Morcha’s National Incharge of Social Media Priti Gandhi claimed to having had her children ‘chased’ after on Twitter by the parody account. Of course, the identity of the account creator was never revealed. so called librals are worried about suspension of twitter account of a parody account than suspension of twitter account of @RahulGandhi . People love comedy so they elected Narendra Modi. — Pandeyji (@pandeyji1149) March 25, 2022I can bet, this parody account has more IQ than @RahulGandhi https://t.co/mSg3GY7JrO — Vineet Kumar Chaurasiya (@kumarvineet074) March 25, 2022For free humour, there is always the real Rahul Gandhi. No need for parody account — Anon (@jeezme) March 25, 2022The account was suspended and people shared mixed views about the development on the microblogging site. From wondering whether this was done by getting scared from the account or simply because of suspicion of impersonation, Twitterati was curious to know what went down. Is his account suspended for impersonation? If so, It is clearly stated in Twitter rules that users are allowed to create a parody account and @RoflGandhi_ has stated in his bio that is a "Parody" account. CC : @Twitter @TwitterIndia @PayalKamat #UnsuspendRoflGandhi_ pic.twitter.com/zlmewriErH — Mohammed Zubair (@zoo_bear) March 24, 2022 One user wrote, “I can bet, this parody account has more IQ than @RahulGandhi.” Another one commented, “For free humour, there is always the real Rahul Gandhi. No need for parody account.” Thank you each one of you for raising your voice to get this account restored. Kuch bhi ho jaye, likhna toh band nahi hoga. Twitter, insta, FB sab band ho jaye toh bhi chahe deewaron pe likhna ho, jo sach hai wo likha jayega. — Rofl Gandhi 2.0 (@RoflGandhi_) March 25, 2022 However, now, after several users got together to request for his account to be restored, it indeed has been restored as the account holder for @ROFLGandhi recently tweeted, “Thank you each one of you for raising your voice to get this account restored. Kuch bhi ho jaye, likhna toh band nahi hoga. Twitter, insta, FB sab band ho jaye toh bhi chahe deewaron pe likhna ho, jo sach hai wo likha jayega.” View the full article
  8. Early in his career, there was a time when even Aamir Khan used to do multiple films in a single year. However, in the late ‘90s, he decided to go for quality over quantity and by the ‘00s, he opted to work on only one film at a time. Since he made this change in his career, Aamir has been unstoppable at the box office. So much so, that in the last 22 years, Aamir has delivered only three duds - Mela (2000), Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005) and Thugs of Hindostan (2018). Often touted as a perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan is now returning to the big screen after four years with Laal Singh Chaddha, an official Hindi remake of 1994 cult Hollywood classic Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. However, a lesser-known fact is that Laal Singh Chaddha isn’t the first Hollywood remake that Aamir is starring in. It is probably the first official one because Aamir has a long list of popular films that were copied from Hollywood starting from the early ‘90s. Here’s a look at 12 popular Aamir Khan starrers that were Hollywood remakes: 1. Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin (1991) © T-Series Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin starred Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt and was an unofficial remake of the 1934 Hollywood film It Happened One Night. 2. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) © Nasir Hussain Films One of Aamir Khan’s most loved films of all time, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar was inspired by the 1979 Hollywood film Breaking Away. The Hindi remake was directed by Mansoor Khan and also starred Deepak Tijori, Ayesha Jhulka and Pooja Bedi. 3. Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993) © Tahir Hussain Enterprises Aamir Khan co-wrote the screenplay of this Mahesh Bhatt directorial that was an unofficial remake of the 1958 Hollywood film House Boat. The film also starred Juhi Chawla and Kunal Kemmu as child actors. 4. Baazi (1995) © Aftab Pictures Before the Academy Award-nominated Lagaan, Aamir Khan worked with director Ashutosh Gowariker in this 1995 action thriller that took inspiration from the 1988 cult hit Die Hard. The film also starred Mamta Kulkarni, Paresh Rawal, Ashish Vidyarthi and Mukesh Rishi. 5. Aatank Hi Aatank (1995) © Suyash Films Pvt.Ltd Aamir Khan also starred in the remake of one of the greatest films of all time The Godfather (1972). Directed by Dilip Shankar, Aamir played the character inspired by Al Pacino’s Michael Corleone. The film also starred Rajinikanth in a prominent role. 6. Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995) © Venus Movies It seems like 1995 was a year of Hollywood remakes for Aamir Khan as he starred in Mansoor Khan’s Akele Hum Akele Tum alongside Manisha Koirala. The film was an unofficial remake of the 1979 Academy Award-winning film Kramer vs Kramer. 7. Ghulam (1998) © Vishesh Films Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the much-loved film starred Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Sharat Saxena. Produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Ghulam was a remake of Mahesh Bhatt’s 1988 film Kabzaa starring Sanjay Dutt, which was a copy of 1954 Marlon Brando starrer On The Waterfront. 8. Mann (1999) © Maruti International Starring Aamir Khan, Manisha Koirala and Anil Kapoor, Mann was directed by Indra Kumar. The film was heavily inspired by the 1957 Hollywood film An Affair To Remember. 9. Rang De Basanti (2006) © Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures Well, not exactly a remake but the basic plot of the film where a group of students create a play/ documentary seems to be inspired by the 1989 film Jesus of Montreal. The Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial also seems to have taken inspiration from the 1948 film All My Sons. 10. Fanaa (2006) © Yashraj Films Starring Aamir Khan and Kajol, the second half of Fanaa seems to be inspired by the 1981 Hollywood film Eye of the Needle and the 1999 Korean film Shiri. 11. Ghajini (2008) © Geetha Arts Starring Aamir Khan, Asin, Jiah Khan and Pradeep Rawat, Ghajini was a remake of a Tamil film of the same name that was heavily inspired by Christopher Nolan’s breakout film Memento (2000). 12. Dhoom 3 (2013) © Yash Raj Films The third instalment in the Dhoom franchise took inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s 2006 film The Prestige. View the full article

  10. Every aspect of an actor's life, as well as everybody associated with them, becomes famous inevitably. However, not all siblings of Bollywood celebrities are as popular as their brothers or sisters. From Shahid Kapoor's half-sister Sanah Kapur to Anushka Sharma's brother Karnesh Ssharma, several siblings of Bollywood A-lister celebs are still lesser-known. While some of them failed to make a mark in showbiz, others chose to not become an actor. Below, let's take a look at the list of lesser-known siblings of popular Bollywood celebrities Sanah Kapur View this post on Instagram Shahid Kapoor's half-sister Sanah Kapur (daughter of Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak) made her acting debut with Vikas Bahl's 2015 film Shaandaar. Interestingly, she shared the screen space with her father and brother in it. However, the film flopped badly at the box office. Post Shaandaar, she acted in a few small-budget films like Khajoor Pe Atke and Saroj Ka Rishta but failed to become a popular face. She recently got married to Manoj Pahwa and Seema Pahwa's son Mayank Pahwa in a low-key wedding ceremony. Karnesh Ssharma View this post on Instagram Anushka Sharma's brother Karnesh Ssharma chose to be a producer instead of following the usual route of becoming an actor. He has co-produced several acclaimed projects like NH10, Pataal Lok among others with the actress. As per the latest buzz, he is planning to launch a streaming platform named Clean OTT on which female-focused content will be curated and created. Isabelle Kaif View this post on Instagram After witnessing her sister Katrina Kaif's mega-success in Bollywood, Isabella Kaif chose to follow her footsteps and entered Bollywood last year with Time To Dance opposite Sooraj Pancholi. The film turned out to be a disaster post which she bagged a few films and music videos, however, is still not a popular face like her sister. Krishna Shroff View this post on Instagram Jackie Shroff's daughter and Tiger Shroff's sister, Krishna Shroff is a fitness enthusiast just like her brother. While she is not interested in acting, she is famous on Instagram and has over one million followers. Saba Ali Khan View this post on Instagram Saba, Saif Ali Khan's younger sister and Soha Ali Khan's older sister, chose to stay away from the film industry. She is a fashion and jewellery designer, as well as the Chief Trustee of the Bhopal Princely States' Royal Trust. (https://www.filmfare.com/features/10-famous-bollywood-stars-and-their-lesser-known-siblings-47767-1.html) However, every now and then, she makes headlines by posting interesting throwback pictures with her siblings Saif-Soha, brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu, sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor, and her nephew-nieces including Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. 11. Abhishek Bachchan is one of the most underrated actors in Bollywood. He has proved his worth several times on-screen with his powerful and unforgettable performance. However, not just through acting, but he seeps into the skin of the character by transforming his looks too like a chameleon. © Dharma Productions Whether it was the role of Dhirubhai Ambani in Guru or Robbie Bhatia in Marmarziyaan, we couldn’t imagine anyone else playing these roles. He played the part as well as looked the part as well. While in most of his films, he had a stubble and short hair, there are some which stood out. © Eros International Here are five of the most memorable and iconic looks played by Abhishek Bachchan that completely set him apart from others as an actor: 1. Bob Biswas © Red Chillies Entertainment His latest release showed him as the character of Kahani, assassin Bob Biswas which was quite different from the roles he has done in his entire trajectory. He rocked a potbelly, had straight long hair and wore glasses to look like a middle-aged man. 2. Guru © Reliance Entertainment This is one of his best works where he played industrial tycoon, Dhirubhai Ambani. He sported 1950s fashion and a clean-shaven look for the younger version of the character while wearing his hair grey for the older part. 3. Dhoom © Yash Raj Films His look as a cop in the first film still is fresh in the minds of all 90s kids who immediately became obsessed with black-rimmed glasses and denim jackets. While the movie was all about swag, Junior AB showed he could serve. 4. Manmarziyaan © Eros International Abhishek Bachchan’s character in Manmarziyaan restored women’s faith in arranged marriages. We didn’t think we would ditch Vicky Kaushal for Abhishek Bachchan in a film but his charming and lovable portrayal of Robbie Bhatia stole our hearts. 5. Dostana © Dharma Productions While the movie is pretty dumb, we loved the two guys in the movie. They are both sweet and handsome all at the same time and have great fashion sense (maybe because they played gay). AB paved the way for floral shirts for men way before it was a trend and kept his signature stubble and short curly hair. View the full article
  12. Ever since Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez's intimate photos with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar went viral on the internet last year, the money laundering case has been making headlines, leading to a big controversy. Sukesh, who claims to be a government lobbyist, is now locked in Tihar Jail in Delhi. The conman, 32, is accused of extorting Rs. 215 crore from Aditi Singh, the wife of former Fortis Healthcare CEO Shivinder Mohan Singh. They founded Ranbaxy Laboratories as well. As the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is probing the case, the latest buzz suggests that the conman also targeted three younger actresses besides Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi. View this post on Instagram Revealing the names, sources told India Today that Bhumi Pednekar, Sara Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor too were on Sukesh's radar. Allegedly, the conman used extorted money to send gifts to the actresses. Sara Ali Khan View this post on Instagram In May 2021, he reportedly targeted Sara with the help of his associate Pinky Irani. He introduced himself as Suraj Reddy on WhatsApp. He told the Kedarnath actress that as a friendly gesture, he would want to give her a car. The conman told Sara that his CEO Pinky had attempted to reach her. As Suraj Reddy, he was adamant about sending gifts. At last, Sara Ali Khan agreed to just a box of chocolates. As mentioned in the letter sent to ED on January 14, 2022, he also sent a Franck Muller watch along with the gift package. Janhvi Kapoor View this post on Instagram Janhvi, on the other hand, was approached by his wife, Leena Maria Paul, who worked in the Malayalam cinema industry as an actress. Janhvi received gifts worth over Rs 18 lakh from him. As per the India Today report, it might have come from Aditi Singh's extortion money. On July 19, 2021, the Dhadak star was invited to inaugurate a nail salon in Bengaluru. For this appearance, she was paid around Rs 19 lakh and the amount was deposited into her bank account. The actress was also given a Christian Dior bag by Leena's mother. Bhumi Pednekar View this post on Instagram Sukesh's associate, Pinky Irani, approached Bhumi in January 2021, purporting to be the Vice President HR of News Express Post. She informed the Badhaai Do actress that Mr. Suraj (Sukesh Chandrasekhar), the chairman of their company, was a fan of hers and wanted to speak about a major project. She further told Bhumi that he also wanted to give her a car as a gift. However, Bhumi has informed ED officials about not receiving any gifts from the conman or any of his associates. 13. Akshay Kumar is on a spree releasing one film after another. He has around six movies slated for this year, one of which is Bachchhan Paandey. The trailer of the film was released two days ago and fans noticed a deja vu moment which they didn’t seem happy about. © Instagram/Akshay Kumar In the trailer of the action-comedy flick, there is a funny scene where Kumar takes blessings from his Guruji (played by Pankaj Tripathi). The fans were quick to recall upon seeing it that they had laughed at the scene before. © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment It was a social media meme where a student was seen touching his teacher’s feet (way up in the wrong place, though) that cracked them up before this particular scene did. © Reddit Not only this, one of the posters of the film, introducing Jacqueline Fernandez as a second female lead and the girlfriend of Bachchhan Paanday’s character, Sophie, is also a popular meme. Remember this South Indian couple enjoying coconut water with a straw in a strangely romantic way that served major relationship goals? © Facebook Well, here’s the poster which clearly did not need many brain cells to be thought of. © Instagram/Akshay Kumar Fans called out Akshay for blatantly copying the exact memes as a scene in the film and its poster, pointing out that he has not even spared the social media memes from remaking just like the films he does. © Instagram/Akshay Kumar Kumar has recently worked in many films that are a remake of South Indian films including Laxmii, Holiday, Bhool Bhulaiya and more. Seeing the meme recreated in posters and trailers of his upcoming film got people facepalming and thinking, “iska bhi remake?” © Instagram/Akshay Kumar Here are the reactions from fans: Har chiz ka remake karta hai ye pic.twitter.com/JIA65S4l8m — Harsh Mishra (@iamharsh55) February 18, 2022Inspired from true events#BachchhanPaandey pic.twitter.com/RVY2usLG9m — Being SHUBHAM ❁ (@ItsBeingSHUBHAM) February 18, 2022After Copying WhatsApp Jokes Farhad Samji Started Copying Meme Too #BachchhanPaandeyTrailer pic.twitter.com/0EJzRozONP — राधे (@iBadasSalmaniac) February 18, 2022Kitna remake kardoge, Remake after remake, Because of you, Bollywood is now calling Remakewood. 15. When the coronavirus pandemic led to a global shutdown, almost all the Hindi films that were supposed to go for a theatrical release opted for a direct OTT premiere. These included films of the biggest of stars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn etc. More than a year later when theatres opened up, we also saw the releases of films like Sooryavanshi, Bunty aur Babli 2, Antim, Tadap, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, 83 etc featuring actors like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana and Saif Ali Khan. However, despite multiple avenues available to screen one's film be it on OTT platforms or theatrically, there were some actors who went missing from our screens. While some of them haven't been seen for over 3 years, there are others who have been away from the screens for almost four years now. Here's a look at the list of actors who haven't been seen in film or series for years now: 1. Shah Rukh Khan © Red Chillies Entertainment One of the biggest movie stars in the world, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero directed by Aanand L Rai. The film was released in December 2018 and we are now in 2022. It's high time SRK returns to do what he does best - entertain us. Reportedly, he is in the midst of shooting for unannounced films like Pathaan, Atlee's untitled film and will soon start a film with Rajkumar Hirani. He will also be seen in cameos in R Madhavan's Rocketry and Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra. 2. Aamir Khan © Yash Raj Films Aamir has been away from the screens even longer than Shah Rukh. He was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan that released during Diwali 2018. Since then, he has been working on his ambitious project, Laal Singh Chaddha, an official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump. In between, though, he was seen in a special dancer number titled Har Funn Maula from Kunal Kapoor starrer 2021 film Koi Jaane Na. 3. Ranbir Kapoor © Vinod Chopra Films Ranbir has been away from the screens even longer than Aamir. The actor was last seen in Sanju which was released in June 2018. He has been busy with Shamshera, Brahmastra and is currently filming Luv Ranjan's next with Shraddha Kapoor. 4. Anushka Sharma © Red Chillies Entertainment She was last seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Zero which was released in December 2018.
