Who knew the announcement of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi theatrical release would turn out to be controversial. After the announcement of the theatrical release of the Hindi dubbed version, Manish Shah of Goldmines later stated that he has decided to withdraw the big screen release owing to the intervention by Allu Arjun’s father who is the producer of the original Telugu version and also the co-producer of the Hindi remake. In an interview with India Today, he had called Shehzada actor Kartik Aaryan “unprofessional” and alleged that he threatened to walk out of the Hindi remake if Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi version released in theatres. However, now the makers of Shehzada have come out in support of Kartik and have quashed the claims made by Manish Shah about the star of their film. © Instagram/Kartik Aaryan In a statement, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series called Kartik one of the most professional actors he has worked with. He said, “We, the producers, felt that Shehzada should release in theatre first and not the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, hence we requested Goldmines not to release the Hindi version, and release of the film is always the producers' decision and not actor. I have known Kartik since the beginning of his career. We have done multiple films together. He is one of the most professional actors I have worked with.” The Hindi remake is helmed by Rohit Dhawan of Desi Boyz and Dishoom fame, elder brother of Varun Dhawan. He praised Kartik saying, “Kartik’s intent and excitement for Shehzada is unquestionable. It’s been a joy working with him. As director and actor, we share a solid bond and nothing can come in the way of our love for the film.” Aman Gill, who is the co-producer of Shehzada added, "After finding out about the Hindi version release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, we the producers on our own, requested Manishji to not release it. Kartik is going all out for Shehzada as an actor and only discusses how he can contribute to make this the biggest film for everyone involved, he is one of most dedicated actors in the industry.” Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo released in 2020 and turned out to be the biggest hit of Telugu cinema outside, of course, the Baahubali films. It is the only South Indian film to collect Rs 200 crore domestically that was not released on a pan-India level. © Geetha Arts The original starred Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Sachin Khedekar and Murali Sharma. As for Shehzada, the film stars Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Sunny Hinduja and Manisha Koirala. View this post on Instagram The film is slated for November 4, 2022 release. Indian cricketers are the most highly-paid athletes in the country and a majority of their income comes from endorsing various brands. Given their huge fan-following on social media, the cricketers charge a hefty fee for promoting any brand on social media. Indian skipper Virat Kohli is the most popular Indian celebrity on Instagram and his promotional posts fetch him in excess of Rs 5 crore. Leveraging your social media reach to make money is completely fine but only when done in the right manner and it seems like Kohli forgot to do just that recently, and was trolled heavily on social media. © Reuters Sports enthusiasts around the world are completely engrossed in the Tokyo Olympics right now and the situation is no different in India. As athletes are competing for medals, brands are also doing everything to make most of the attention around the event. Taking to Instagram, Kohli shared a post highlighting the fact that around 10 per cent of Indian athletes who are representing the country at Tokyo 2020 have graduated from Punjab-based Lovely Professional University. View this post on Instagram “What a record 10% of Indian Olympians are from Lovely Professional University. I hope LPU will send students to the Indian cricket also!” read Kohli’s post on Instagram. Kohli, through his post, also sent his best wishes to the Indian Olympians including the men’s hockey team captain Manpreet Singh, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, wrestler Bajrang Punia, among others. “India needs 10 more LPUs. Best of luck to the 11 LPU students who are representing India at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Truly a great achievement!,” Kohli wrote on Instagram. © Reuters Kohli’s post may have earned him an exorbitant amount of money but it also made him a laughing stock on social media, with many fans finding it difficult to believe what they saw. A user commented that initially, he thought his account was hacked, while another user asked Kohli if he had forgotten to put the ‘sponsored post’ tag. Some users even felt that by crediting the university for athletes’ success, Kohli was actually ignoring the years of hard work done by our athletes to realise their dream of becoming an Olympian. © Instagram/Virat Kohli © Instagram/Virat Kohli © Instagram/Virat Kohli A lot of fans saw the post as a clear attempt of tricking users into believing that those were actually Kohli’s words and he was in complete awe of the university for being home to such world-class athletes, whereas in reality, somebody else had written those words and Kohli just posted it in exchange for a large sum of money. How To Wear A Backpack At Work While Looking Professional
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online News
Maybe a briefcase is too formal for your office so most of your co-workers settled for a messenger bag or an unattractive, back-to-school backpack that comes with a laptop. But you want to break the boring trend and try something more fashionable yet convenient. Perhaps a backpack that doesn’t make you look like a student, allows you to use both hands while accessing a device and doesn’t put all the weight on one of your shoulders. Great idea! But can a man have all 3? Thanks to the ever-evolving fashion brands, there’s a backpack for every mood—from travel backpacks to military backpacks to business backpacks. As long as you know what to pick from the backpacks for men collection, you’ll live happily hands-free ever after. Steer Clear Of Bright Colours, Patterns Or PrintsWe might have started experimenting with bright-coloured smart casuals at work but we’re not there yet when it comes to backpacks. It is important that in a professional setting, you keep the silhouette, fabric and colour in mind. Pick the timeless shades—the ones that won’t get stained easily—like black, greys, blues or beiges. They’re simple, efficient and they never fail to impress. __ECOMPRODUCT__1906__ Skip The Nylon… Hello, Leather!Leather backpacks give you the benefit of looking sophisticated which a nylon backpack will not. Remember to not overfill it as that will disturb the silhouette of the bag which is equally responsible for its elegant appearance. __ECOMPRODUCT__1907__ Extra Straps & Buckles? No, Thank YouBuckles and too many straps hanging in all the directions don’t reflect professionalism. The impact of buckles is such that it adds to the informal aspect of a design. While magnetic closure makes a backpack appear tidy. __ECOMPRODUCT__1908__ No Mesh Water Bottle HolderYou would never wear a mesh T-shirt to work simply because it doesn’t fit any sort of formal dress code. The same rule applies here. Even though mesh covers a small section of a backpack, it’s more suitable for a casual outing. __ECOMPRODUCT__275__ Max One Or Two Visible Pockets You have a lot of things to keep in your backpack. But the more you fill it, the more casual it’ll begin to look reason being its stretched silhouette. Having a lot of visible pockets will make it look like your good old rucksack, which we don’t want. Minimalistic designs work the best in formal settings. __ECOMPRODUCT__1909__ Final ThoughtsWe say: Long live the backpack and may the number of pockets in it continue to increase. But to ensure its survival, we must respect each type of backpack and wear it keeping in mind the occasion. Avoid bringing backpacks to something where it’s important to make a good first impression. Like a job interview or a business meeting. Explore More View the full article -

Taiwanese company ASUS has set up its first academy for gamers who want to turn professional in esports. However, at the time the training academy programme is to be conducted digitally for upcoming gamers who are looking to turn professional. © Unsplash The programme will last for about a year and will be divided into four quarterly sessions that will focus on games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Registration for the academy will commence from February 1st and last till February 10th. Aspiring gamers can sign up for the programme from the age of 16 and above. However, players between 16-18 years will require a consent letter from their parents. The registration process will involve a screening process and shortlisted candidates will be placed in mixed teams depending on their role in the game. Candidates will be further analysed and the top 20 candidates will finally be sorted into four squads. © Unsplash What makes enrolling into the programme worth it is that the final six players will be reaching Rs 15,000 as a stipend during the three month period. Players will get further training from professional esports players and coaches during the three-month tenure as well. The company will also provide Rs 1,00,000 as a prize pool for the final six players that are selected. The training will involve activities ranging from theory, teamwork and individual skill training. Players will also be taught high-level in-game strategies that are usually used in competitive tournaments. “This initiative will provide a huge boost in establishing a pool of credible esports players in India and pave the way for next-generation gamers with access to resources, mentorship, and training,” said Arnold Su, Business Head, Consumer and Gaming PC, System Business Group, ASUS India. Training academies and facilities will be a step forward to progressing India’s esports scene and ASUS plans to support the ecosystem with its new initiative. ASUS ROG will be providing tournament grade equipment and technology to gamers to hone their skills. © Unsplash India has been touted as the next big destination for esports but just two years ago, Nikhil "forsaken" Kumawat was caught cheating at ‘eXTREMESLAND 2018’ Finals. He was using an aimbot in competitive games. The incident has now become the most memed incident as Kumawat tried to hide the cheat by renaming the file as “Word.exe” during the game.
