Ever since the news of Sourav Ganguly emerging as a unanimous candidate for the position of Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) broke out, cricket pundits and fans have backed the former Indian captain to do good in his new role. While his impending appointment as the new BCCI chief has become the talk of the town, it was Ganguly's tongue-in-cheek response to a scribe that has taken social media by storm. After filing his nomination for the influential post, Ganguly was met with a hero's welcome upon his return to Kolkata recently. The former Indian cricketer also held a press conference where he answered numerous queries of the journalists in attendance. But, one question, in particular, evoked a hilarious response from Ganguly. Responding to the question whether he has spoken with Ravi Shastri, Ganguly left everyone in splits by saying, "Why? What has he (Shastri) has done now?". During the interview process for the position of Team India coach in 2016, The duo was seen firing pot-shots at each other. The BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), which was comprised of Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman, had picked Anil Kumble for the coaching job - a position Shastri had also applied for. After Kumble's appointment as coach, Shastri had accused Ganguly of being absent during his interview and said he found it "disrespectful". In response to the accusations, Ganguly said: "If Shastri thinks I was behind the appointment of Kumble as the coach and not him, then he is living in a fool's paradise". While we aren't sure if Ganguly's latest remark was yet another dig at Shastri, it surely got the fans cracking up hard on social media. The ultimate underdogs at the ICC spectacle, Pakistan might have a fairly inexperienced squad going into the World Cup, but a mercurial side of their calibre still promises to go the distance. The trailer gives you some vibes of 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' but nevertheless, it's completely entertaining. The story follows an eternal bachelor which translates to 'Shadaa' in Punjabi played by Diljit, who dreams of getting married but later realises that bachelorhood is better. The movie is a family entertainer which deals with the issue of a 50-year-old man falling in love with a 26-year-old woman and facing disapproval from his family and ex-wife. The movie stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role, with Tabu playing the role of his ex-wife and Rakul Preet playing his love interest. During Delhi Capitals' six-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals, both Binny and Stokes found themselves entangled in a comedy of errors which, in turn, made them the butt of all jokes on the social media. Chasing a tricky total of 191 runs, Delhi needed 17 runs off 12 balls with Rishabh Pant and Colin Ingram at the crease. On the fourth delivery of Jofra Archer's over, Pant went for a tennis-like cross-court swat by could only manage to lob the ball in the air towards square leg.
