  3. Katie Price is planning to makeover Harvey's bedroom for the recently commissioned second series, revealed 'The Sun'
  4. We don’t generally expect celebrities to be introverts or have trouble speaking to people. Giving interviews, interacting with fans, meeting a thousand people on set, events and shoots are just a part of their job. View this post on Instagram This is even more common for star kids who have practically grown up in the limelight. However, one celebrity kid who grew up to be a star himself, still finds it difficult to place a food order, much like us. It’s Abhishek Bachchan. View this post on Instagram The Dasvi actor recently shared in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that he struggles with talking to strangers and can’t even call room service or walk into a hotel lobby without someone guiding him. View this post on Instagram He said, “I am very conscious. People laugh at me. We're sitting in a hotel today, doing our press tour, and if there isn't somebody to help me walk through the lobby, I won't come in. I am scared to enter a place alone. I need somebody around me, I would rather have somebody who can guide me. I'm very shy that way.” View this post on Instagram He shared how his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, comes to his rescue and orders for him because she knows he won’t eat all day otherwise. "I have certain quirks. If I am outdoor and my wife will call me in the evening asking 'how's your day' whatever, normal husband-wife chat. She says 'have you eaten,' I say 'no.' She says 'okay what do you want to eat' and I tell her and then she will...I can't call room service. Aishwarya has to call (room service), otherwise, she knows I won't eat. I have this issue. I have a problem speaking to a stranger on the phone,” he added. 6. Mumbai Indians, the most successful franchise in IPL, has had a forgettable start to the 15th edition of IPL, losing three matches on the spin. Same is the case with their talismanic skipper Rohit Sharma, who has failed to make any significant contribution with willow, scoring only 54 runs in three outings, which includes a score of 41 that he scored in their opening clash against Delhi Capitals. View this post on Instagram Despite Rohit’s inconsistent performances at the top of the order, Mumbai Indians have still given their opponents a tough fight but are yet to open their account. This is not the first time the Mumbai-based outfit finds itself in a sorry state like this. The franchise is known for their modest starts but somehow they always find their rhythm and mojo as the tournament progresses. View this post on Instagram However, with two new outfits in the mix the competition has increased significantly and teams can afford to leave it far too late. In their previous encounter, MI were cruising at one stage and the victory looked well within their grasp. But then came Pat Cummins’ onslaught which took the game away from them in no time. The Australian pacer, whose primary skill is fast bowling, smashed MI bowlers to all corners of the ground, bringing up his fifty off just 14 deliveries and equalling the all-time fastest half-century record in IPL. View this post on Instagram Whenever a team loses from a position of strength, it’s a hard pill to swallow for the players. After the match, one could clearly see the anger and frustration in Rohit’s behaviour. In a situation like this, it’s hard to keep hold of emotions but despite that Rohit gave an inspiring speech to his teammates, where he rather than pointing fingers at anyone asked everybody to stay together as a unit. He said that it was not the time to blame anyone because cricket is a team sport and “we win together, we lose together”. It’s all of us. We win together, we lose together. That is as simple as that for me.I think slight desperation is required from each one of us. That desperation is very, very, very important when we play, especially in this tournament,” Rohit said in the video posted on MI’s official Twitter handle. “We can talk about so much stuff off the field, but I think it’s in there, what we want to achieve as a group. Again, this is not the bowling group or batting group, this is all of us – all of us here. We need to come together, not one or two individuals. Everyone needs to come together. That is what I feel,” he concluded. View this post on InstagramThe MI fans hailed the 34-year-old’s choice of words and hailed him for his wonderful speech but the supporters of the rival teams felt that they were being hypocritical. They argued that Rohit has always taken all the credit for MI’s success and now he was preaching others a different thing just to hide his own failure with the bat. Jb ek individual ko hi sara credit mil rha hota h tb bhi bol deta ese tb to chupchap credit enjoy krta h...aur ab sirf 3 match harne ka blame mil rha h usme team ko blame kro wala statment de rha h — (@Harsh7champ) April 7, 2022Ha to win together hai to inke fans kyo bolte hai akele Rohit ne 5 trophy jitai — KULDIP (@not_dhoni) April 7, 2022Par 5 trophy ke saath photo to akela khichata hai. Tab team nai yaad aati? — V X N S H (@alkohlicxmsfied) April 7, 2022So why do MI fans give credit for winning five IPL trophies only to Rohit? — (@kurkureter) April 7, 2022 Frankly speaking, there was nothing wrong in what Rohit said. Some people have a habit of finding fault in everything. These people enjoy pulling others down because this is what makes them happy and it just shows how corrupt their minds are. 9. The world paused for a second on Friday as the news of legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne swarmed social media. The realization that the 52 year old cricketer who was as cherished for his sport as he was for his admirable personality, was hard to swallow. Reports suspected that the Australian cricketer who was in Thailand at the time of his death, staying in Koh Samui, died of an imminent heart-attack. The cause of death had not yet been confirmed and as the family of Warne struggled with the tragic passing of Shane, they requested for some privacy until they could share more with the fans. Local media reports said investigators found blood stains on the floor of Warne's room and on bath towels while searching the villa." © Twitter Prior to this, Shane Warne’s manager had given a statement where he shared how upon finding Shane in that state, he tried giving him CPR for almost 20 minutes before the ambulance arrived. As of now, despite the family’s request to expedite the process of having Shane’s body returned to Australia, the authorities have transported the body to the Thai mainland to undergo an autopsy, as per reports. The new details of #ShaneWarne's death are absolutely shocking. A large amount of blood? OHH MYY GODD — akash nthn (@akash_nthn) March 6, 2022If anything comes from the early death of Shane Warne, it will be conversations around heart disease. You should see your GP for an annual health check which, depending on your age and a few other factors, might include cholesterol and type 2 diabetes blood tests. — Anita (@Doctor__Anita) March 6, 2022As far as what led to his suspected heart-attack, James Erskine said, “He did go on these ridiculous sorts of diets and he just finished one, where he basically only ate fluids for 14 days and he'd done this three or four times. It was a bit... all or nothing. It was either white buns with butter and lasagne stuffed in the middle or he would be having black and green juices.” He also mentioned, "I don't know, he obviously smoked most of his life. I don't know, I think it was just a massive heart attack. That's what I think happened." Source: Times Now View the full article
  10. You know when Mukesh Ambani gets associated with something, it has to be spectacular. Well, earlier this year the business tycoon became a proper hotelier and bought a stake at the Mandarin Oriental, New York. © Reliance Industries Well, after it underwent some remodelling and some minor tweaks, the place can only be described as palatial. © Mandarin Oriental, New York Apparently, a few months ago, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries bought out the majority stake at the hotel for USD 98 Million, and also took on a debt of over USD 115 Million. All in all, the deal cost Reliance about USD 215 Million. Now, Mandarin Oriental is one of New York’s poshest hotels and is often frequented by the who’s who of the city. Naturally, the hotel has to offer anything and everything that upper-class New York dares to demand. View this post on Instagram It has a massive sports/gym centre which has an indoor heated pool and one of the highest-rated spas in all of New York City. View this post on Instagram It also has one of the best restaurants in New York, which, given that New York has an awesome dining scene, is saying something. View this post on Instagram Now, you would imagine that a stay at such a property would cost you an arm and a leg. Well, you wouldn't be wrong, but you'll certainly underestimate just how expensive the rooms can get. A basic “deluxe” room, which the folks at Oriental Mandarin, New York, call the ‘Hudson View Room,’ has a basic tariff of Rs 65,000. On top of that, there’s VAT, a few other charges, some taxes and you’re looking at a cool Rs 80,000 a night. View this post on Instagram Mind you, this does not include any meals with it. A quiet dinner for two along with a few drinks will set you back by at least another Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000. View this post on Instagram Yup, a basic “deluxe” room sets you back by Rs 80,000 a night. Now, imagine how big a dent would renting out a suite at this place make in your bank accounts. Their most expensive option, Suite 5000, starts at Rs 27 Lakhs plus taxes for a night. From there, your bill can go as high as the sky if you go for add-on options such as an in-suite chef, an additional bedroom, or a personal butler. The suite itself is spread over 3300 square feet, which, in fact, is larger than most apartments in New York City. View this post on Instagram Given just how busy the 5-star property is throughout the year, they must be minting some serious money. View the full article
  11. Manisha Koirala was among the most popular Bollywood actresses of the 90s. During that era, the actress gave a lot of memorable performances including Khamoshi, Dil Se among others. Just like her strong performances, the actress’ love life too stayed in the limelight. Well, her most controversial affair was with Nana Patekar, who was already married and 20-years older than her. View this post on Instagram Nana and Manisha met on the sets of their film Agni Sakshi in 1996 and fell in love. At that time, the actress had just ended her relationship with actor Vivek Mushran. Nana's menacing charisma was too much for her to resist. As they started filming for the movie, the two began dating in secret. After Agni Sakshi, the duo teamed up again for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Khamoshi and the news about their off-screen chemistry spread like a wildfire back then. Manisha ultimately admitted that she and Nana were in a relationship, and the actor too acknowledged it. At that time, Nana and his wife Neelakanti were living separately. View this post on Instagram Nana and Manisha are both known for their fiery personalities and they often used to fight with each other. They were in love with each other, however, Nana wasn't ready to marry Manisha. There was a buzz that he was involved with actress Ayesha Jhulka as well. Their relationship went downhill when Manisha reportedly caught Nana with Jhulka in a closed room. Despite her anger towards Nana, the Sanju actress first screamed at Ayesha. When Manisha first saw them together, she supposedly said to Ayesha, "Get off my man, you bi**h". Both Ayesha and Nana fiercely denied any romantic relationship. Post this incident, Manisha moved on in life and Nana too never went back to her to rekindle their relationship. Another reason behind their breakup was Nana's refusal to marry Manisha. View this post on Instagram Later, the actor confessed missing Manisha in an interview with Filmfare and said, "She is the most sensitive actress around. She is like a kasturi hiran, she still needs to realise that she doesn't need to keep pace with anyone. She has it all and that's more than enough. I can barely hold back the tears when I see what she's doing to herself. Maybe I don't have anything to say about her today! A break-up is a very difficult phase. You have to experience it to know the pain. I can't describe the pain I went through. Please, let's not talk about this. I miss Manisha!" On the Bollywood front, both Nana and Manisha aren't too active currently. While Manisha was last seen in the English film India Sweets and Spices, Nana's last release was the long-delayed It's My Life. The film was released in 2020. Source: Pinkvilla View the full article
  12. After the dismissal of the captain of the Indian cricket team in the second inning of the first Test match between India and South Africa, pictures of Virat Kohli’s disappointed expressions while inside the dressing room have gone viral on social media. In two side-to-side pictures, Kohli could be seen leaning against a glass door, staring into oblivion and then lowering his gaze in disappointment, probably thinking about the extremely predictable day in which he was dismissed in the first and the second innings of the match. Virat Kohli's reaction in dressing room after getting out goes viralhttps://t.co/vkDmnlI1GP pic.twitter.com/3wbl06aKi8 — SeaHawk Updates (@SeaHawkUpdates) December 29, 2021 Ironically, the cover drove, which happens to be one of the most iconic strokes that he plays, has also left him extremely vulnerable to giving away an outside edge and the ball going straight into the hands of the wicket-keeper or one of the men standing at slip. Many are calling it a force of habit, others say that is it Kohli’s ego getting in the way of him playing a long and steady knock but the fact that the Indian skipper has gotten out the same way for over last three or four series is a bad sign. Marco Jansen bringing the magic on debut #SAvIND #FreedomTestSeries #BetwayTestSeries #BePartOfIt pic.twitter.com/7cYIorUwsY — Cricket South Africa (@OfficialCSA) December 29, 2021 And by now, every international squad’s scouting report of Kohli would have this written in big bold letters that the batter can’t resist the urge to just go out of his line to punch the ball for the covers and that’s what international pacers have been luring him to do. Back in England, it was James Anderson who did it to him on multiple occasions and now in South Africa, it was Marco Jansen and Lungi Ngidi doing the exact same thing and getting the exact same result. He is one of the most technically sound cricketers in the world and plays that drive like a master. However, to go for such a tricky move on of the first delivery after lunch break, or even on the very first delivery that he faces, is something that even the fans and analysts have tried but failed to understand. The urge to go ballistic from the first minute is just not the right approach towards the longest format of the game and Kohli, who is such a Test enthusiast, must realise that. View the full article
