If you're cued in with what's happening in Bollywood, you'd know Hrithik Roshan's 'Super 30' is releasing in July 2019. The much-awaited Roshan biopic is based on the life of maths genius, Anand Kumar, who runs the famous super 30 program for IIT aspirants in Patna. All the Hrithik fans are truly geared up to watch him play Anand's character. © Viacom18 Motion Pictures The film though has a slight twist of faith, in a good, reckoning way though! The film ran in to trouble recently when director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual misconduct by two women and became a part of the #MeToo movement. Soon after, the makers of the film decided to ask him to leave the project in order to preserve the sanctity of the film. Since then, the movie does not seem to have a director and its release has been delayed. Earlier it was supposed to release on the 25th of January but now it's scheduled to release on the 26th of July. © Twitter As soon as Vikas was shown the exit door, Anurag Kashyap, Vikas's former partner from now dissolved Phantom Films took over the project and is overseeing the post production of the film. In fact, Shibasish Sarkar, group CEO of Reliance Entertainment, revealed that the film will have no directorial credit whatsoever. "Vikas is not associated with the edit and post-production. There will be no director credit for anyone. As a producer, after substantial investment of time, money and the efforts of all our technicians and talent, it is our responsibility to complete the film with the best possible resources available to us. Anurag is a partner, he has edited films of other Phantom partners in the past. He agreed to take this responsibility on Reliance's request, and with a professional and commercial understanding. Also, it has been agreed that he will not take any credit," the CEO told a popular publication. The film is being produced by Reliance Entertainment and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. © Twitter After the #MeToo movement hit Bollywood, a number of celebrities and producers, directors, and musicians were brought into the limelight on grounds of sexual misconduct and harassment. Vikas Bahl being one of them has been accused of the same by two women, one of them being the renowned actress Kangana Ranaut and the makers will think about putting his name back in the credit role if he gets a court order clearing his name out of it. © Viacom 18 Motion Pictueres By all means, the step taken towards maintaining the sanctity of the movement is quite praiseworthy and we hope more people from the film industry take similar steps toward the perpetrators.
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsIf there's a singular style icon that every young man and kid looked up to, and still do even after two decades, it has to be Hrithik Roshan. The fact that the man is flawless in every sense of the term helps - right from his physique to his dancing prowess to his raw magnetism. His fashion game is something that has been equally amazing, right from the iconic 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' days. The net T-shirt and bandana from 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena' was a national rage, and with every passing year, it has only got stronger. He just turned 45 (does he look a day older than 25?), and made a spunky style statement with his shoe game. Take a look. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani Hrithik left his sneakers untied, and didn't 'cut off the tag'. Now the tag bit has really caught up, ever since the Off-White phenomenon sneaked into our fashion consciousness, but Hrithik took it further with leaving the laces open as well. © Viral Bhayani Leaving laces untied is a legit thing amongst sneakerheads, especially when one is wearing high tops and basketball sneakers. Apart from being a part of the street aesthetic, it also is functional. It prevents creases in your sneakers, and also lengthens their life. Plus, your feet get to enjoy more air. (Please tie them up if you're taking public transport in India though, you know the reason.) © Viral Bhayani Coming to his outfit, we're in love with the relaxed but sophisticated swag in Athleisure, After all, when you have a physique like that, why won't you flaunt it? © Viral Bhayani Happy birthday, Hrithik! May you continue being the OG style and fitness icon that you are.
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsWhile social media is abuzz with birthday wishes pouring in for Bollywood's own Greek god, Hrithik Roshan on his 45th birthday, we thought we'd share a lesser known scoop about the actor, in the spirit of his birthday. View this post on Instagram When v would dance with random strangers on the beaches of Koh samoi.. (new years eve 2003) lov u @hrithikroshan happy birthday !♥ï¸#duggu A post shared by Farah Khan Kunder (@farahkhankunder) on Jan 9, 2019 at 10:07pm PST So, bearing many warm wishes for the birthday boy, let us get directly to the bit that made you click on this article. As we all know, Hrithik made his official acting debut with 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' in 2000, which did really well at the box office. But what many of you may not know, is that this movie wasn't the actor's first acting stint at all. Before his official launch in the Hindi film industry, Hrithik had already made special appearances in a couple of films in the 1980s as a child artist. Amongst those initial movies, one of his notable roles was in 'Aap Ke Deewane', although it was 'Aasha' starring Rishi Kapoor and Reena Roy where Hrithik first appeared as a child artist. View this post on Instagram I loved her, admired her so much. My first ever acting shot was with Sri Devi, I was nervous in front of her and I remember her shaking her hands pretending to be nervous cause of me, just to boost my confidence. We had to laugh, and she kept laughing until I got it right. Will miss you mam. And what's more, Hrithik's first salary turns out to be Rs. 25 more than Salman Khan's first salary of Rs. 75, which he earned by dancing in a show at the Taj Hotel. © Twitter On the other hand, SRK's first salary is said to have been Rs. 50, which is the exact half of what Hrithik made! Can you beat that? King Khan earning a salary of Rs. 50, seems almost unbelievable, doesn't it? But good for Duggu to have been where he had been, and where he has reached today. Also happy birthday, Hrithik!
