ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsColdplay's Chris Martin not only brought the whole house down with his rocking performance at Akash & Shloka's pre-wedding bash, but he also spent most of his time chilling out with Bollywood celebrities in Switzerland and thanks to Gauri Khan, we got a glimpse of the same. Gauri recently posted a picture on her social media, where she is seen posing with Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Chris Martin, and Natasha Poonawala. She wrote the caption, "A huddle with Chris Martin." Why does it look like Alia, Gauri and Natasha are wearing 'aluminium foil' coats? I am sure desi moms need answers to this style statement. The celebrities may be living their fan moment with Chris Martin, but he seems to be in awe of Shah Rukh Khan and recently even gave a shout out to the actor and wrote, "Shah Rukh Khan forever."
Eight Years Ago, Tendulkar's 120 Vs Strauss' 158 Saw One Of The Best World Cup Encounters Ever
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsIt was a chilly Sunday afternoon in Bengaluru, the roads were empty and the offices closed. If you were new in the area, you'd ask out loud: “What has happened to one of the busiest and happening cities this nation?” The answer: India Vs England. People found themselves stuck in front of their televisions, unable to blink amid one of the most anticipated matchups of the 2011 ICC World Cup, the host, Team India was to go head-to-head against a dominating force in England. Paul Collingwood, skipper Andrew Strauss and the notorious Kevin Peterson had taken the Englishmen to heights never seen before. On the other hand, the Men in Blue looked rock solid with Sachin Tendulkar getting over his woes and thoughts of retiring from the sport, Virender Sehwag finding his mojo and MS Dhoni's outstanding winning streak, while a young Virat Kohli was on the rise. After winning the toss, in a not-so-popular decision, Dhoni decided to bat first. Unable to stick to the crease for long, opener Virender Sehwag was dismissed by Matt Prior off Tim Bresnan. However, it was the second opener and the 'god of cricket' Sachin Tendulkar who showed his true form to us mortals as he took the English bowlers to task. Be it pacer James Anderson or orthodox spinner James Yardy, the master blaster spared no one. In a beautiful innings, Tendulkar scored a toasty 120 to record his 47th ODI ton and the fifth World Cup century - more than any other player in the history of the game. Check out "WC 2011: Sachin Smashes 120 vs Eng" on Hotstar!https://t.co/aU9p38gFoz — Aditya Pandey (@adityapandey148) February 27, 2019 Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh were excellent sidekicks to Tendulkar's heroic performance as they scored 51 and 58 runs respectively. Team India built a mammoth total of 338 for England to chase. People expected England to swing for the fences from the first ball, but nobody expected captain Andrew Strauss to explode like that. Watching him destroy the spinners made people want to shoot themselves in the foot. Both Piyush Chawla and Harbhajan Singh were visibly frustrated as Strauss sent deliveries to every corner of the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. After scoring an incredible 158 off 145 balls, the English batsman was finally sent away on an LBW appeal by bowler Zaheer Khan. Despite Strauss' sendoff, England managed to hang on to the ropes as future skipper Ian Bell shouldered the batting order, scoring 69 in 71. Even though the English tailenders were on the crease, the Indian fans were holding their breath as the fate of the match was to be decided on the very last ball. On a perfect delivery by Munaf Patel, Graeme Swann tried to go for the big one, but the ball went straight to the mid-off fielder Yusuf Pathan, who made no mistake in getting hold of it and the batsmen were pinned to taking a single. After 100 overs of action-pact innings spearheaded by Sachin Tendulkar and Andrew Strauss, one of the greatest encounters in the history of ICC World Cup ended on a tie as commentator Ravi Shastri very rightly said: “No team deserved to lose.”. One of the most exciting @cricketworldcup encounters ever? We think so!#OnThisDay in 2011, India and England tied a thriller in Bengaluru! ð®ð³ ð´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ pic.twitter.com/p1ndpaS6el — ICC (@ICC) February 27, 2019
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsHe may be constantly surrounded by controversy but nothing can affect his fame. The more people hate on him, the more love and loyalty Salman Khan gets from his fans. There is something impenetrable about his persona which makes it looks that nothing can touch his stardom. While it takes just one mishap to sabotage a celebrity's status, Salman is a classic case of soaring high, even more so when calamity strikes. With the changing times in Bollywood, almost every yesteryear star is finding himself being replaced, but Bhaijaan's legacy cannot be touched. He is a 'lambi race ka ghoda' and no one can deny that. Interestingly, while today his movies mint 100 crores in a blink, there was a time when tons of his film didn't even see the light of the day. Here we have a list some movies that he signed up for, which unfortunately never made it to the screens: 1. Ran Kshetra © Rajshree Bhagyashree and Salman made us fall in love with them in 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' and soon signed another project 'Ran Kshetra'. However, the movie production was put on hold when Bhagyashree decided to get married, and soon, it was shelved. 2. Aye Mere Dost Work on the movie began with a song recording, but due to unknown circumstances, nothing happened after that. The film starred Arbaaz Khan, Divya Bharti, Karishma Kapoor along with Salman Khan. Later, the song was used for another movie of Bhai's named 'Majhdhar' in 1996. 3. Raam © Twitter This movie was meant to be Sohail Khan's directorial debut but things at times don't go as planned. Despite half the movie being shot already, the production stopped because of financial troubles. The film starring Salman, Anil Kapoor and Pooja Bhatt, later had to be shelved. 4. Dus One of Salman Khan's most anticipated films was axed when director Mukul S. Anand suddenly passed away. The movie had a powerful lineup including Salman, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Shilpa Shetty. Though the film was never released we got to hear the iconic track 'Hindustani' in 1999, that was loved by millions and still is. 5. Dil Hai Tumhara © Twitter In 1991, Rajkumar Santoshi began working on this film starring Salman Khan, Sunny Deol and Meenakshi Sheshadri. They hardly wrapped up just one schedule, when Santoshi signed for another movie, agreeing to direct Bobby Deol's 'Barsaat'. 'Dil Hai Tumhara' was pushed for a while but ultimately, had to be wrapped up forever. 6. Gherao © Pinterest In order to make up for 'Dil Hai Tumhara', Salman had to sign for 'Gherao' opposite Manisha Koirala. Rajkumar Santoshi helmed the film, but once again just after the mahurat, the movie was called off. 7. Buland © Pinterest Clearly, there was some dark shadow over Salman and his movies back then, as even 'Buland' was shelved after half of the film was complete. The movie starred Somy Ali, who he was dating at the time. 8. Raju Raja Ram © Twitter Starring Salman, Jackie Shroff, and Govinda, this movie was talked about a lot but the project was called off in the end. Director David Dhawan had to shelve the project due to a financial crunch. 9. Aankh Micholi © Pinterest This would have been another double role project for Salman Khan, but the actor had his reservations to do a movie like 'Judwaa' once again and the movie had to be dropped. 10. Jalwa © Twitter Ketan Dhawan signed Salman, Sanjay Dutt and Armaan Kohli for this action flick. However, later he decided to make a film in another genre altogether, resulting in shutting this project.
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsWe were at Gamescom last week and got to see Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay behind closed doors, before it was made available for the public. The game looked ready to us, at least in the demo we got to see. You would start with a create-your-own character menu where you would customise your character. © CDProjekt RED The demo began with V, heading out to a gang hideout with our partner in crime Jackie. After a tense conversation, the mission escalates into a firefight. The gameplay showed off the gunplay of Cyberpunk 2077 where it was deeply rooted as a role-playing game. We were then given a mission to retrieve a spider looking drone from the Maelstrom gang. We got a glimpse at the astonishing visuals of Night City and the attention to detail CDprojekt Red is known for. © CDProjekt RED The gameplay is now ready for everyone to see and game director Adam Badowski said with the release of the gameplay, "What we're releasing today was recorded from a game deep in development, Since many of the assets and mechanics in the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 are most likely to be modified, we initially decided to show this gameplay only to media. Elements like gunplay (both in terms of visuals and how RPG stats influence it), not running, car physics, or the game's UI--everything's pretty much still in the playtest phase and we felt uneasy about publicly committing to any particular design." © CDProjekt RED “Animation glitches, work-in-progress character facial expressions, early versions of locations--all this made us hesitant to release what you're about to see. However, we are also well aware that many of you want to see what the media saw. Although this is probably not the same game you'll see on your screen when we launch, we still decided to share this 48-minute video with you. This is how Cyberpunk 2077 looks today. Let us know what you think!” he said. © CDProjekt RED The released gameplay may give you a glimpse of the game, as there were a few things that were shown to us and are not a part of the video. We, the audience, were given the choice to choose the gender of the character. In the create-your-character section, we could also choose a backstory and our childhood hero. Along with a range of weapons shown in the video, CDProjekt Red chose not to show what they showed us. Apart from being a shooter, our character could also use a katana with special abilities to hack off enemies. The sword, when held in the parry position, was capable of generating a force field around us that deflected bullets and projectiles. When we were done with the full demo, I was just staring at the blank screen with my mouth wide open. That's how good it looked! In my head, I gave the game a 10/10 after what I just witnessed. It was and probably will be the best game I have seen at Gamescom or maybe even 2018. If you want to see the gameplay for yourself, you can always watch the demo below:
