  1. Back in that one scene in 'Avengers: Infinity War', Doctor Strange gave up the time stone to save Tony Stark's life because 'it was the only way'. Now, after watching 'Avengers: Endgame', we know that Tony couldn't die in 'Infinity War' since he had to die in 'Endgame'. This was because of the 14,000,605 alternate endings that Doctor Strange saw, while acting quite strange, and knew exactly how everything will go about. There was only one time out of over 14 million that the Avengers actually came out victorious. But, now that we know about the winning ending, a lot of people wondered what actually happened in the other alternate endings, and well, people are way too creative and hilarious and have come up with a lot of predictions. Also, a shoutout to Reddit for never disappointing us. Here's a kinda one. © Reddit And, a 'nice' one. © Reddit No salt bae, but weed bae? © Reddit Wow, now that's evil. © Reddit Seems appropriate. © Reddit Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. © Reddit Noobmaster69 is everywhere. © Reddit Jam-mora, tho. © Reddit The James Charles shade tho. © Reddit They only got half the required signatures. © Reddit People won't mind the snap then. © Reddit Does this prove that Thanos is real?
  2. With 'Game Of Thrones' nearing its end faster than we had expected, it is safe to say that the story of the television series digressed from the storyline that author George RR Martin had spent years coming up with. While it deprives the show of a lot of love from the dedicated fans of the books, it also opens doors to an uncertain future and all sorts of theories about the way it all ends for Jon Snow, Cersei, Daenerys, and the rest of the crew with the series finale a couple of weeks away. One such theory could be about the main man, Jon Snow, who surprisingly seems to 'know nothing' about all the tattletales present in his “family” with whom he spent the better portion of his unusual life. via GIPHY I say “unusual” simply because one, he's come back to life after dying and two, have you noticed how ever since he was resurrected, he somehow managed to survive every major war he's been a part of while people around him continued to die, mostly saving him from danger? So, this theory is about how ever since he was brought back to life by the Lord of Light (through Melisandre), Snow became the most powerful and influential agent of the “one true god” especially because of the fact that Snow or rather, Aegon Targaryen was always the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, thereby the King of the Seven Kingdoms, a King who could force his subjects into worshipping the Lord of Light alone, while dismissing every other religion. via GIPHY The biggest hints about the theory dropped during the fourth episode of the eighth and final season of the show. After winning the Battle of Winterfell, with the Night King and the rest of the army of the dead decimated after Arya stabbed him in the torso with dragonglass, it was the wildlings who spoke of how Snow did not remain dead even after getting murdered: “He is little but he is strong. Strong enough to befriend an enemy and get murdered for it. Most people get bloody murdered, they stay that way. Not this one,” said Tormund to which Snow slyly replied: “I didn't have much say in that.” via GIPHY Also, a couple of moments ago, in a conversation with Tyrion, Ser Davos expresses his concerns with The Lord of Light. “We play his game for him, we fight his war and win and then he fucks off. No signs, no blessings. Who knows what he wants?” Maybe this is what the Lord of Light had planned all along. There also exists another theory according to which the Lord of Light and the God of Death are one and the same. In the last episode, Melisandre, a devout of the Lord of Light said something very peculiar to a terrified Arya that gave her the strength to kill the Night King. via GIPHY Interestingly, she spoke about the God of Death and the lines were first told to Arya nearly a decade ago by her sword-fighting instructor, Syrio Forel, who followed the God of Death aka the Many-Faced God as well. via GIPHY Once the Night King was dead, Melisandre happily died as her destiny was fulfilled by Arya and now it was Snow's turn to fulfill his by taking the throne from Cersei and Daenerys to complete the Lord of Light's plan.
  3. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is the ideal example of how a mere idea and the passion to actualise it can snowball into something so massive and praise-worthy, having an impact, not only on the lives of the people involved in the making of these movies but also, the billions from various countries who can relate with these characters and make a commitment to them. Ever since the first piece of the puzzle was played with Robert Downey Jr. becoming Iron Man and really personalising the character of Tony Stark as himself, the seed was sown which would become this beautiful, magnificent tree in the next 11 years. What made these Marvel movies so special and different from the rest of the superhero movies of the past is the kind of effort put in the storytelling. Not only did the plots get into the deep integrities of character building but also took care of the tiniest of comic book details that we now know as 'Easter Eggs' and hid them across the MCU, making the experience even more awesome for the real fans. Credit: Iron Man 2 (2009), Marvel Studios Yet another attribute of Kevin Feigi's (President, Marvel Studios) vision was the small delights that came after the end credits of every MCU movie. Some gave us an insight about what to expect in the coming years, others were just to tickle our funny bones. Nonetheless, it was a great way to making the audience stay in the theatres until the name of every single cast member had appeared on the big screen. With time and the impressive post-credit scenes, it became a ritual for all MCU fans to patiently sit in their chairs and wait for what's next to come. Then came the final piece of the puzzle, 'Avengers: Endgame' and reports came pouring in saying that there are no post-credit scenes after the movie. While standing in line to enter into the cinema hall, people spoke about how the movie will end without telling us what's next and how it will end just like any other film we watch. After three hours and two minutes of being mesmerised however, something changed. Credit: Dissolve In spite of knowing that there will be nothing once the credits roll up into that black screen, not a single soul moved from their seat. They just sat there, not talking but in awe of what a wonderful journey it was and thanked the stars of the series, in their own little way, silently, in their hearts. Some happy, others overwhelmed with the conclusion, 'the quiet' was probably the greatest recognition an audience could honour Marvel with.
  4. Coldplay's Chris Martin not only brought the whole house down with his rocking performance at Akash & Shloka's pre-wedding bash, but he also spent most of his time chilling out with Bollywood celebrities in Switzerland and thanks to Gauri Khan, we got a glimpse of the same. Gauri recently posted a picture on her social media, where she is seen posing with Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Chris Martin, and Natasha Poonawala. She wrote the caption, "A huddle with Chris Martin." View this post on Instagram Sparkling in @falgunishanepeacockindia .. ððð A post shared by Gauri Khan (@gaurikhan) on Mar 10, 2019 at 12:04am PST While people are talking about how great everyone, especially Bollywood's King Khan is looking in the picture; we can't help but look past the outfits of the ladies. Why does it look like Alia, Gauri and Natasha are wearing 'aluminium foil' coats? I am sure desi moms need answers to this style statement. View this post on Instagram A huddle with Chris Martin â¤.. @aliaabhatt @_aamirkhan #RanbirKapoor @coldplay @iamsrk @natasha.poonawalla A post shared by Gauri Khan (@gaurikhan) on Mar 15, 2019 at 12:45am PDT Honestly, whatever it is, this picture definitely shines brighter than most of our future. The celebrities may be living their fan moment with Chris Martin, but he seems to be in awe of Shah Rukh Khan and recently even gave a shout out to the actor and wrote, "Shah Rukh Khan forever."
  5. It was a chilly Sunday afternoon in Bengaluru, the roads were empty and the offices closed. If you were new in the area, you'd ask out loud: “What has happened to one of the busiest and happening cities this nation?” The answer: India Vs England. People found themselves stuck in front of their televisions, unable to blink amid one of the most anticipated matchups of the 2011 ICC World Cup, the host, Team India was to go head-to-head against a dominating force in England. Paul Collingwood, skipper Andrew Strauss and the notorious Kevin Peterson had taken the Englishmen to heights never seen before. On the other hand, the Men in Blue looked rock solid with Sachin Tendulkar getting over his woes and thoughts of retiring from the sport, Virender Sehwag finding his mojo and MS Dhoni's outstanding winning streak, while a young Virat Kohli was on the rise. After winning the toss, in a not-so-popular decision, Dhoni decided to bat first. Unable to stick to the crease for long, opener Virender Sehwag was dismissed by Matt Prior off Tim Bresnan. However, it was the second opener and the 'god of cricket' Sachin Tendulkar who showed his true form to us mortals as he took the English bowlers to task. Be it pacer James Anderson or orthodox spinner James Yardy, the master blaster spared no one. In a beautiful innings, Tendulkar scored a toasty 120 to record his 47th ODI ton and the fifth World Cup century - more than any other player in the history of the game. Check out "WC 2011: Sachin Smashes 120 vs Eng" on Hotstar!https://t.co/aU9p38gFoz — Aditya Pandey (@adityapandey148) February 27, 2019 Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh were excellent sidekicks to Tendulkar's heroic performance as they scored 51 and 58 runs respectively. Team India built a mammoth total of 338 for England to chase. People expected England to swing for the fences from the first ball, but nobody expected captain Andrew Strauss to explode like that. Watching him destroy the spinners made people want to shoot themselves in the foot. Both Piyush Chawla and Harbhajan Singh were visibly frustrated as Strauss sent deliveries to every corner of the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. After scoring an incredible 158 off 145 balls, the English batsman was finally sent away on an LBW appeal by bowler Zaheer Khan. Despite Strauss' sendoff, England managed to hang on to the ropes as future skipper Ian Bell shouldered the batting order, scoring 69 in 71. Even though the English tailenders were on the crease, the Indian fans were holding their breath as the fate of the match was to be decided on the very last ball. On a perfect delivery by Munaf Patel, Graeme Swann tried to go for the big one, but the ball went straight to the mid-off fielder Yusuf Pathan, who made no mistake in getting hold of it and the batsmen were pinned to taking a single. After 100 overs of action-pact innings spearheaded by Sachin Tendulkar and Andrew Strauss, one of the greatest encounters in the history of ICC World Cup ended on a tie as commentator Ravi Shastri very rightly said: “No team deserved to lose.”. One of the most exciting @cricketworldcup encounters ever? We think so!#OnThisDay in 2011, India and England tied a thriller in Bengaluru! ð®ð³ ð´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ pic.twitter.com/p1ndpaS6el — ICC (@ICC) February 27, 2019
  6. He may be constantly surrounded by controversy but nothing can affect his fame. The more people hate on him, the more love and loyalty Salman Khan gets from his fans. There is something impenetrable about his persona which makes it looks that nothing can touch his stardom. While it takes just one mishap to sabotage a celebrity's status, Salman is a classic case of soaring high, even more so when calamity strikes. With the changing times in Bollywood, almost every yesteryear star is finding himself being replaced, but Bhaijaan's legacy cannot be touched. He is a 'lambi race ka ghoda' and no one can deny that. Interestingly, while today his movies mint 100 crores in a blink, there was a time when tons of his film didn't even see the light of the day. Here we have a list some movies that he signed up for, which unfortunately never made it to the screens: 1. Ran Kshetra © Rajshree Bhagyashree and Salman made us fall in love with them in 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' and soon signed another project 'Ran Kshetra'. However, the movie production was put on hold when Bhagyashree decided to get married, and soon, it was shelved. 2. Aye Mere Dost Work on the movie began with a song recording, but due to unknown circumstances, nothing happened after that. The film starred Arbaaz Khan, Divya Bharti, Karishma Kapoor along with Salman Khan. Later, the song was used for another movie of Bhai's named 'Majhdhar' in 1996. 3. Raam © Twitter This movie was meant to be Sohail Khan's directorial debut but things at times don't go as planned. Despite half the movie being shot already, the production stopped because of financial troubles. The film starring Salman, Anil Kapoor and Pooja Bhatt, later had to be shelved. 4. Dus One of Salman Khan's most anticipated films was axed when director Mukul S. Anand suddenly passed away. The movie had a powerful lineup including Salman, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Shilpa Shetty. Though the film was never released we got to hear the iconic track 'Hindustani' in 1999, that was loved by millions and still is. 5. Dil Hai Tumhara © Twitter In 1991, Rajkumar Santoshi began working on this film starring Salman Khan, Sunny Deol and Meenakshi Sheshadri. They hardly wrapped up just one schedule, when Santoshi signed for another movie, agreeing to direct Bobby Deol's 'Barsaat'. 'Dil Hai Tumhara' was pushed for a while but ultimately, had to be wrapped up forever. 6. Gherao © Pinterest In order to make up for 'Dil Hai Tumhara', Salman had to sign for 'Gherao' opposite Manisha Koirala. Rajkumar Santoshi helmed the film, but once again just after the mahurat, the movie was called off. 7. Buland © Pinterest Clearly, there was some dark shadow over Salman and his movies back then, as even 'Buland' was shelved after half of the film was complete. The movie starred Somy Ali, who he was dating at the time. 8. Raju Raja Ram © Twitter Starring Salman, Jackie Shroff, and Govinda, this movie was talked about a lot but the project was called off in the end. Director David Dhawan had to shelve the project due to a financial crunch. 9. Aankh Micholi © Pinterest This would have been another double role project for Salman Khan, but the actor had his reservations to do a movie like 'Judwaa' once again and the movie had to be dropped. 10. Jalwa © Twitter Ketan Dhawan signed Salman, Sanjay Dutt and Armaan Kohli for this action flick. However, later he decided to make a film in another genre altogether, resulting in shutting this project.
  7. We were at Gamescom last week and got to see Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay behind closed doors, before it was made available for the public. The game looked ready to us, at least in the demo we got to see. You would start with a create-your-own character menu where you would customise your character. © CDProjekt RED The demo began with V, heading out to a gang hideout with our partner in crime Jackie. After a tense conversation, the mission escalates into a firefight. The gameplay showed off the gunplay of Cyberpunk 2077 where it was deeply rooted as a role-playing game. We were then given a mission to retrieve a spider looking drone from the Maelstrom gang. We got a glimpse at the astonishing visuals of Night City and the attention to detail CDprojekt Red is known for. © CDProjekt RED The gameplay is now ready for everyone to see and game director Adam Badowski said with the release of the gameplay, "What we're releasing today was recorded from a game deep in development, Since many of the assets and mechanics in the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 are most likely to be modified, we initially decided to show this gameplay only to media. Elements like gunplay (both in terms of visuals and how RPG stats influence it), not running, car physics, or the game's UI--everything's pretty much still in the playtest phase and we felt uneasy about publicly committing to any particular design." © CDProjekt RED “Animation glitches, work-in-progress character facial expressions, early versions of locations--all this made us hesitant to release what you're about to see. However, we are also well aware that many of you want to see what the media saw. Although this is probably not the same game you'll see on your screen when we launch, we still decided to share this 48-minute video with you. This is how Cyberpunk 2077 looks today. Let us know what you think!” he said. © CDProjekt RED The released gameplay may give you a glimpse of the game, as there were a few things that were shown to us and are not a part of the video. We, the audience, were given the choice to choose the gender of the character. In the create-your-character section, we could also choose a backstory and our childhood hero. Along with a range of weapons shown in the video, CDProjekt Red chose not to show what they showed us. Apart from being a shooter, our character could also use a katana with special abilities to hack off enemies. The sword, when held in the parry position, was capable of generating a force field around us that deflected bullets and projectiles. When we were done with the full demo, I was just staring at the blank screen with my mouth wide open. That's how good it looked! In my head, I gave the game a 10/10 after what I just witnessed. It was and probably will be the best game I have seen at Gamescom or maybe even 2018. If you want to see the gameplay for yourself, you can always watch the demo below:
