  4. SS Rajamouli’s RRR is on a record-breaking spree and is now near Rs 1000 crore mark at the global box office. Amid the film’s record-breaking run, the team organised a success meet in Mumbai which saw the presence of Jr NTR, Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli & Aamir Khan among other people. During the media interaction at the RRR success meet, a journo asked Jr NTR about Ram Charan walking away with all the accolades after the film ended. © DVV Entertainment Before Jr NTR could respond, Ram Charan interrupted and shut the journo down with his graceful response. He replied, “No ma’am, I don’t believe that at all. Not even for a second. I think we both have excelled beautifully and Taarak was fantastic. I don’t think I have enjoyed working in any other film but RRR. And what I take back from RRR is my journey with the team, my journey with Taarak, which I will never ever forget. Thank you SS Rajamouli Garu for giving me that opportunity. I love him to bits and it will always remain the same.” Watch the video below: This isn’t the first time the actors have been asked something along these lines. A few days back, Jr NTR was asked about Ram Charan being given more screen time than him. To which, he had responded by saying, “I always maintained and am aware of the fact that Rajamouli has given equal importance to both Ram and Bheem roles. No insecurities involved. We both compliment each other beautifully. While there are scenes elevating one hero at one time, Rajamouli had placed another elevation scene for the other.” © DVV Entertainment The movie also stars Alia Bhatt, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris & Ajay Devgn in important roles. Meanwhile, the film has achieved yet another feat at the box office. The SS Rajamouli directorial has now gone past Rs 200 crore mark in its Hindi version and has become only the second film post The Kashmir Files to go past the milestone post-pandemic. 5. Rishabh Pant is one of the most improved cricketers in recent years. There was never any doubt about his batting abilities but the way he has taken his wicket-keeping to the next level has been commendable. There was a time when he was not considered for One-Day Internationals and wasn't the first-choice wicket-keeper in home conditions. However, with sheer hard work, Pant has made himself indispensable. History by Rishabh Pant - becomes the fastest Indian to score a Test fifty, in just 28 balls. Surpasses Kapil Dev's record of 30 balls. pic.twitter.com/2RkLlgFQRH — Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) March 13, 2022 In a recent chat with 'The Week' magazine, the young wicket-keeper batter opened about the phase where he shut everyone out except two players from Team India. Remembering the lows that he had to face early on in his career, Pant said it was a difficult phase but he was waiting for his chance and kept believing in himself and was in touch with Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni. © Twitter Rishabh Pant "It was a hard time and I shut out everyone. It was difficult for me to go to many people. I only believed in myself; I wanted to prove myself to the world. I did not want to think negative thoughts. I was waiting for my chance. I was talking to Rohit [Sharma] bhai and Mahi bhai a little bit. But mostly I kept believing in myself," Pant told The Week magazine in a chat. Fans on Twitter felt that since the youngster did not mention the former coach Ravi Shastri and former captain Virat Kohli while talking about the most difficult phase of his cricketing career, he was taking an indirect dig at the captain and coach duo. This is directly taunt at kuli and shastri. Shastri and kuli k ego ne hi 2 ICC trophy k L laga diye. https://t.co/A2PJsHQGVe — No Country (@NoCountry11) April 5, 2022Shastri Kohli in mud , as they should be https://t.co/00GJtvCHti — iMe (@ItsMee44626964) April 5, 2022Why not Kohli?? https://t.co/pZgNDC5yFr — Sumeet Mishra (@sumeetmish) April 5, 2022Shasthri and Kohli is the worst thing that happened to indian cricket. https://t.co/1Bc4nUCRL7 — ** (@K1ckbut) April 5, 2022Pant further mentioned that while he is happy to come out of that zone where he was struggling with form and confidence, he still needs to work on his instincts. "It was obviously very challenging. That was a low phase in my life. You feel good when you come from hard times and play like that (series in England where he scored 50 off 101). But, at the same time, I do not think of either [fifties] too much. I just play on the merit of the ball. (However,) I did find that I could control my instincts better," he said. 9. S. Sreesanth has been added to the Indian Premier League auction list at the age of 39, with a starting price of Rs 50 lakh. The fast bowler had also registered for the IPL auction last year, causing a stir among cricket circles. The then 38-year-old speedster from Kerala, however, did not make it to the final auction list announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Watching his name finally appear in the list of players who are qualified for bidding at the IPL 2022 mega auction, the speedster wrote a heartfelt message on Twitter, thanking all his well-wishers and asking his followers to keep him in their prayers and hope that he returns to the iconic tournament that the IPL has become. Love u all..can’t thank u all enough..lots of gratitude Thnks a lot..#grateful and alwys will be grateful to each and every try one of u..plss do keep me in ur prayers for final auction too..”om Nama Shivaya..” pic.twitter.com/XAyBGx9IVU — Sreesanth (@sreesanth36) February 1, 2022 After serving a seven-year suspension for his suspected role in the spot-fixing incident, the speedster played for Kerala in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last year, taking four wickets. Sreesanth had set a base price of Rs 75 lakh for himself ahead of the 2021 season. This year, however, he did not play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy or the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Sreesanth, who was previously regarded as one of the best right-arm fast bowlers in the world, was arrested in Mumbai in 2013 alongside two other Rajasthan Royals colleagues, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila, for their involvement in IPL spot-fixing. Despite the fact that his seven-year suspension was lifted last year, IPL clubs were hesitant to choose him. Even though he was absolved of his mistakes by the Indian Supreme Court back in 2019 and his spot-fixing allegations were no more of an official factor hindering his career as a cricketer, teams were simply not aboard the idea of having him on their roster because of his age, the lack of playing time and the presence of a lot of great pacers who are way younger than him and have registered their names at the base price as well. This time, a total of 590 players will be auctioned off, comprising 228 capped players, 355 uncapped players, and seven cricketers from associate nations. The auction will take place in Bengaluru on February 12-13. His fans have backed him a hundred per cent this time around and are not interested in anyone who has anything negative to say about the cricketer’s return to his greatest love for cricket.
