  1. Jason Momoa has already wowed the audience with the trailer of his upcoming DC movie 'Aquaman'. The trailer dropped recently and fans went crazy exploding with praises for the actor and showing high expectations. Turns out that all expectations would be met once the movie hits the theatres because critics across the globe have called it the best DC movie since 'The Dark Knight' and it has already been predicted to become a super hit. Saw #Aquaman — what a movie. A blast from beginning to end. Visually stunning (think LOTR under water). I will def see it again and in IMAX. — chris harihar (@chrisharihar) November 27, 2018 I loved #Aquaman! It's definitely one of the best DC universe movies thus far. It's a fun underwater fantasy sci-fi adventure everyone will enjoy. James Wan did a great job of bringing the first Aquaman movie to life ðð¾ð¥ pic.twitter.com/RI0s2YKmLL — Dorian Parks (@DorianParksnRec) November 26, 2018 Now they of course cannot divulge the plot details but this is a reassurance that the wait will be worth it. I can finally share some brief thoughts on #Aquaman. Can't mention plot or technical stuff, so I'll just say that Jason Mamoa is charismatic as hell in the lead and the film gives off a fun fantasy vibe ð Doubt anyone will mock Aquaman for talking to fish after this comes out. pic.twitter.com/EFpPJ3enmq — Nick Kazden (@ricknazden) November 26, 2018 Short & sweet reaction to #Aquaman is that I loved it. It's a comic book movie through & through with great action, iconic moments & visual spectacle to spare. Momoa makes the character his own & Wan honors the traditional aspects, but elevates it to the modern era. It's a blast. — Paul Shirey (@arcticninjapaul) November 26, 2018 What is a superhero movie without a fantabulous superhero, right? People are all praises for Jason Momoa & Amber Heard's performances in the movie. I've seen @creepypuppet 's @aquamanmovie and it's one terrific adventure. #JasonMamoa and #AmberHeard are fantastic together, both bringing a ton of humor. This is good stuff! It also happens to be gorgeous to look at! Check out @arcticninjapaul 's full review @joblocom soon! pic.twitter.com/YQ8AhwD26c — Jïmm¥†ð†hêð (@JimmytotheO) November 26, 2018 #Aquaman is the best DC movie since The Dark Knight.@creepypuppet delivers a swashbuckling epic full of big emotion, gorgeous undersea visuals, exciting action, and lots of laughs. WB should be handing the DCEU reins to James Wan, he's proven he can, ahem, right the ship. pic.twitter.com/4hjxdmNLDf — Tom Jorgensen (@Tom_Jorgensen) November 26, 2018 The movie stars Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson and Nicole Kidman in pivotal roles and will hit the screens next month; so the countdown begins guys!
  2. Nobody, who laid their eyes on the people dressed in all the colours of the rainbow, walking along Delhi's busy roads, could tell it was a Sunday. The last day of the week, which people usually dread so much, shone in psychedelic colours under the cool November sun thi Sunday. Hundreds of people walked together in cheerful waves - holding hands, dancing, smiling and rejoicing in their new-found freedom, in the company of those who had turned up to celebrate with the LGBTQ community. This year's Pride Parade in New Delhi painted the town in all shades of the rainbow, but it was more than just the colours that caught people's eyes. There were messages and expressions that were much louder and poignant, which only added to the larger celebration. We picked out 20 of the most gorgeous pictures from yesterday's Pride Parade in New Delhi, that are not only meaningful but also display the celebration that it was, in its truest sense. Check these out: 1. It truly was a happy (liberating) celebration. 3. Bitcoin has plunged below far below US$ 5,000 and is currently trading for just US$ 4,300. The year has turned out to be a nightmare for investors who touted the cryptocurrency to be the future and had made high investments. Within a week, it has lost more than 25 per cent of its value due to sell-off by traders. The last time Bitcoin sunk this low was in October 2017. Even other cryptocurrencies like Ripple's XRP and Ethereum's Ether fell as much as 14 and 16 per cent respectively. Since last year, the rise in enthusiasm for bitcoin led to a rush of investment and speculation around cryptocurrencies and blockchain-related startups. © Reuters But the consistently declining prices and growing scepticism isn't going well with short-term investors. Also, there have been claims that bitcoin's previous price increases were artificially inflated. The U.S Justice Department is currently investigating whether Bitcoin's high market value last year was an outcome of trade manipulation. Bitcoin has plummeted over 75 per cent this year from a peak of US$ 20,000 touched in December. The cryptocurrency was holding off at US$ 6,000 for quite some time, but the lack of a bounce meant investors were seeing a red flag and getting bearish. © TradingView Adding to this, the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) penalised two cryptocurrency companies that held an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) without registration with the regulator. Bitcoin Cash has also undergone a "hard fork", meaning the offshoot of the original Bitcoin was split into two, and the community has been internally fighting. Hence, mainstream investors have stayed clear of Bitcoin with concerns over scant regulatory oversight. © SCMP A cryptocurrency is a form of digital currency that is based on a technology called blockchain. Here computers compete against each other to solve complex math problems. That computing power creates a distributed, secure and transparent network ledger- commonly known as a blockchain on which applications such as Bitcoin can be built. According to industry tracker Coinmarketcap, the total value of cryptocurrencies is now around $154 billion, down from a peak of around $800 billion in January.
  4. Today is Diwali and I don't think I need to remind you that, because the unending stream of WhatsApp forwards and stickers must have already done the job of informing, I mean wishing you. Diwali is the festival that teaches us the value of the "what goes around comes around." Yes, you guessed it right. We're talking about the soan-papdi dabbas and crockery sets and bowls, which eventually end up in our hands after we passed it forward to our friends and relatives. Wikimedia Seriously, who named this festival Diwali and not 'passing the parcel game' instead? But Diwali is not just about circulating soan-papdi dabbas, it's also a festival of lights, rangolis, dressing up for selfies and for some. it's an occasion to burst firecrackers. But, since firecrackers have been banned and restricted in some areas this year, Twitter has come up with an interesting way of celebrating Diwali. I am not talking about gathering at Connaught Place to shout Thain Thain. Being the savage platform that Twitter is, it decided to crack hilarious jokes and memes instead, and the result is dhamaakedar, to say the least. 5. When Activision first announced 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4', I was a bit sceptical about it not offering a single player mode and brushed the game aside for not being “innovative”. The studio chose to pack a battle Royale mode instead, which was not something I was looking forward to. I was wrong. Treyarch, the developer of the game actually delivered a game that I find myself going back to each time I switch on my PlayStation 4 Pro. We tested out the game and its different modes and we feel it's the best multiplayer game in the franchise since Modern Warfare 2. Blackout Hands down our favourite mode in the new game is the Battle Royale mode called 'Blackout'. Essentially it's same as any other Battle Royale game where you jump into a map with 99 other opponents and try to come on top. Having said that, Blackout feels more refreshing and exciting than its other BR counterparts, as it has a range of gadgets, more guns and special abilities. © Activision Blackout is something you can play all day and not feel exhausted even after a long gaming session — you simply want to keep playing more. The gunplay in Blackout works exactly as it did in the previous COD games, as it uses the same engine Activision has been using for over a decade. Sure, the engine may be old, but it still feels better than any other FPS we've played this year. © MensXP Being a Battlefield player, I've always considered 'Call of Duty' more of a casual game due to its arcade-centric gameplay. However, Blackout strikes a great balance between being fun and tactical at the same time. COD Black Ops 4 has hit it out of the park this year and it seems like the completion will have a hard time catching up. © YouTube The other thing that matters most in an online game is connectivity, especially for Indian gamers. The Blackout mode runs on dedicated servers which makes the connection stable and reliable in this mode. It's a first for any COD game on consoles and is probably the reason why it will be the most played mode in India. The framerate is solid and keeps the game fast paced. We encountered absolutely no issues apart from a few disconnections which can be credited to my internet connection. Overall, Treyarch has delivered a high-quality Battle Royale mode which is going to dominate streams and Youtube for time to come. Multiplayer © YouTube The multiplayer on Black Ops 4 is more of the traditional mode that you may have enjoyed in previous games. It works exactly like previous games with classic modes such as domination, free-for-all, team deathmatch and others. A lot of the older maps such as Summit, Firing Range and Nuketown have been remastered and brought back for players who have been a long-time fan of the franchise. You will know every single detail about these maps like myself if you've played the original Black Ops and other games in the same Black Ops franchise. Levelling up also means a lot more just like the classic games, where you acquire better gear and guns as you progress through. You have passive upgrades that change the way your character moves and performs, which has been borrowed from the Modern Warfare games. Conclusion Not everyone is happy about the lack of a single player mode, however, 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4' has done enough to keep us distracted with Blackout. The multiplayer experience is at par and back to its roots with a few tweaks to make the experience relevant and enjoyable in 2018. As a package, this is a game you can play all year as you won't come across a better multiplayer game this year.

  8. Kylian Mbappe became the first teenager since Pele in 1958, to score in a World Cup final. The French star carried his fine form to the final as his goal helped France lift the World Cup for the second time. His performances have received praise from fans and pundits, alike. In Russia, Mbappe finished with 4 goals and also won the FIFA Young Player award for his performances at the World Cup. He is the second French player in a row to win this accolade after Paul Pogba won it four years ago. The award, which can only be won by players born on or after January 1, is given to the outstanding young footballer at the finals. © Reuters "Technical qualities such as skill, style, and charisma are taken into account, but so are other important factors such as a sense of fair play and a genuine impression that the player is playing for the love of the game," according to FIFA. Mbappe took his goal extremely well, as a move started by Theo Hernandez was finished by him in an emphatic manner. Hernandez did a couple of step-overs before squaring the ball for Mbappe, who seemed certain to hit a curling shot towards the top corner of the far post. Instead, he took a ripe low towards the near post, and Danijel Subasic was completely out-foxed. It was a high IQ play from the French forward, as his goal all but sealed the victory for the Les Blues. © Reuters Brazil icon Pele was just 17 when he scored twice in a 5-2 win over Sweden in 1958 - the start of an incredible international career. After watching Mbappe's achievement, he tweeted: "Only the second teenager to have scored a goal in a #WorldCupFinal! Welcome to the club, @KMbappe - it's great to have some company!" Winning the World Cup at the age of just 19 is remarkable, and Mbappe could be the player to lead the march for French football for years to come.
