  1. More than five crore people of Bihar came out together on Sunday to form a human chain of around 18000 kilometers in support of environmental conservation and eradication of social evils. The âmaanav shrinkhlaâ or the human chain was formed in response to the call of the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as part of the âJal-Jeevan-Haryaliâ campaign that focuses on protecting the flora and fauna with its main emphasis on preservation of natural resources and forests. According to Indiatimes, the efforts surpassed the previous records of 2017, wherein people came together to impose a ban on the sale and consumption of alcohol. And also in 2018 when the human chain for formed and the exercise was repeated to support the campaign against dowry and child marriage. Chief Secretary, Deepak Kumar told PTI, "Altogether 5.17 crore people took part in the human chain which was 18,034 kilometers long. The length this year was much longer than 14,000 kilometers of 2018 and 11,000 kilometers of the year before when Bihar first entered record books beating Bangladesh.â "A total of seven helicopters had been pressed into service for capturing aerial images of the event that was bound to go down in the annals of history as a record. Besides, more than 100 drone cameras have clicked photographs which showed the enthusiasm of the state's people, for which we are thankful,â he added. The exercise began at 11:30 am and the people stood around thirty minutes holding hands and CM himself was seen leading the chain at the Gandhi Maidan, Bihar. 2. Quirky, eccentric and yet subtle - perhaps this is the most appropriate way to describe the style statements that we have seen Aparshakti Khurana make. Now, even though he, like most of our Bollywood celebrities, are born with an innate sense of style, he is rarely the one who comes up with the ensembles that we have seen him wear. © Jay Samuel The stylist who is responsible for the drool-worthy sartorial sensibility that we have come to associate with Aparshakti, is Jay Samuel, a London-based stylist, who, apart from Aparshakti has closely worked with a number of style icons from across the Indian subcontinent. © Jay Samuel Here's what Jay had to say, when we sat down for a candid conversation over men's fashion in India, the icons of style in Bollywood, and all things fashion. Tell us about your journey, how did you start out? I've always had an eye for detail and a passion for fashion from a young age. Over the years, this passion grew even more, since I was styling family friends for various events. I also understood how to shop cleverly and work around things that I have. Gradually this habit led to a sense of recognition, which I pursued further. What is your creative process when you are working with Aparshakti Khurana? Being a stylist entails coming up with ideas for someone else to pursue. Aparshakti and I have worked together for many years now. We share the same energy when it comes to fashion. He is open to ideas and not afraid of setting trends, trying out new stuff, so that definitely helps. © Instagram/jaysamuelstudio We have seen this new trend of celebs getting a shoot done before going out for public appearances, be it a red carpet event or for promotions. Why has this practice developed as the norm? We are living in a social media frenzy where everything is constantly being snapped - whether it is your gym outfit, or an airport look. Sometimes, the images are flattering. However, sometimes they are far from it. Therefore this new trends gives celebrities the opportunity to have those perfect images ready for posting online. Furthermore, it's a great way to credit to the designer and stylist. However, as a photographer, I don't always agree with this habit, as this diminishes the need for a proper and creative photoshoot. Does being a photographer allow you to visualise your styling projects in a better way? How does it work? Definitely yes. As a photographer, you envision the end result in your mind, way before the day arrives and you clicking the image. From a stylist's point of view, I will prepare everything else, keeping that image in mind. © Instagram/jaysamuelstudio Virgil Abloh in a recent interview said that streetwear will be dead in the coming decade. Do you agree? Why or why not? Streetwear has stepped up, it's not just about being comfortable anymore. It's adding that quirkiness to give ensembles a certain look and feel. In my opinion, streetwear will always be there. We have seen a rise in multiple bags which started from the ramp and quickly could be seen on the streets. What is that one fashion trend that you don't like, or don't agree with? I didn't particularly like the trend of getting over the top, big hairstyles. I think they overpower the entire look. What are some must-have staples that men should hoard in their closets? A properly tailored white shirt, a smart jacket, a pair of brogues, a well fitted pair of jeans. Also, invest well in accessories, such as belts, watches and sunglasses. © Instagram/jaysamuelstudio What are some basic and often repeated mistakes that people make when putting together a look? I've always noticed that people often dress ignoring the kind of occasion they are heading to. For example, you often see men wearing the wrong shirt collar, for the tie they have chosen. If you opt for a bow tie then go for the right collar. Also the trend of wearing oversized garments. Although this may seem cool and look super comfortable, it can be overbearing for some people. How would you describe the last decade in terms of fashion? What trends, according to you, were huge? It was the decade of the smart suits paired with sneakers - sophisticated and yet comfortable. Also the whole neon effect for both women and men worked well. © Instagram/jaysamuelstudio And what trends do you see going big in 2020? Trench coats for both men and women will be a big thing. I do see people rocking more colours with spring emerging, particularly shades of yellow and orange. I also feel a comeback of the '80s trend of tailored blazer jackets with enunciated shoulder pads. What advice would you give to a budding stylist? The main thing is having that inner passion for fashion and style. Be creative and believe in your craft. Take inspiration from others but find your own style. Always work hard and remember to have fun. © Instagram/jaysamuelstudio How would you define your signature style? Quirky. Your favourite place to shop or look for new pieces to work with. I love shopping and I'm a creative but selective shopper, so the place doesn't matter. Just show me the stuff! © Jay Samuel One historical era that you find extremely fashionable? I loved the '70s in terms of fashion, with their fitted shirts and well-tailored trousers. One celebrity who can teach everyone else a lesson or two on how to pull off the Indian aesthetic elegantly, when it comes to menswear. It's between the godfather of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachan and Shahid Kapoor. They both have everything on point, every time. © Jay Samuel One thing men should never do while dressing up in traditional Indian wear. Get the shoes wrong, for some reason the outfits whether its grand sherwanis or just a plain kurta are always paired with the wrong kind of shoes…. Please can we show the footwear the same kind of love! One traditional Indian menswear item you believe every Indian man should have in his wardrobe, and why. A white or black kurta. It oozes comfort, but also looks very stylish, whether you are pairing it with a traditional churidar or some trendy chinos. © Jay Samuel 3 International Celebrities that you would love to style. David Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and David Gandy 3 Indian celebrities who have a natural flair for style. Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Ayushman Khurrana Ethereal, elysian, and sublime - these words can often be used to describe the ensembles and outfits that we have seen Bollywood celebrities wear. However, more often than not, there is an entire team of people, working behind the scenes to bring us some iconic and memorable statement ensembles. As a series, Style Pundits looks at the eccentric people behind these ensembles and celebrates the ever-changing notions that have come to define India's sartorial sensibilities and the fluidity of our style. 3. It's easy to get caught with the growing list of gadgets that are making their way into the world. Quite honestly, not all of them are worth your time or hard-earned money. In most cases, what may work others may not do the trick for you, which is why it's important to give a little bit of thought before buying anything. But today, I am going to be listing some of the top tech items to kick off 2020 with. All the items on this list are very reliable will make your life easier, allowing you to get more done, and feel less stressed. So let's get started with this list - Baseus Mini Magnetic USB-C Angled Fast Charging Adapter I don't have to tell you about Apple's MacBook MagSafe connectors, right? I am very clumsy when it comes to wires, and I can't begin to tell you how many times I've tripped over a power cord that's charging either a phone or my laptop. And the next thing you know is gadget is sent flying off the table or desk. © Amazon This is where MagSafe connectors enter. Apple has stopped making these, but luckily a ton of other third-party vendors have started selling them, that too for different connectors. Today, on Amazon, you can get a MagSafe USB Type C connector, a MagSafe Lightning connector, and a whole more. The one from Baseus is what I use personally, but you can do a little research and pick anything that suits you. But just do yourself a favor and buy a MagSafe connector for as many gadgets as you can. A Wireless Charger As someone who carries more than a dozen gadgets at a time, I often find myself carrying a ton of chargers with me all the time. I am glad that most of the gadgets which I use these days including my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods support wireless charging. I can just throw them on the wireless mat whenever I am not using them instead of keeping it on my bag and they'll get charged and be ready to go when I am. © Amazon Even if you don't carry too many gadgets, a wireless charger is something you might want to invest in 2020 because it'll definitely make your life that much easier. Once you go wireless, you won't feel like fiddling with charging cables anymore. Tile Mate © Amazon Bluetooth locators have gone mainstream now and one of the best ones on the market is the new Tile Mate tracker. You can use this with anything like your wallet, backpack, or your suitcase, and track it in case you happen to misplace them. It's one of those things that you'll forget about until you need it. A Pair Of Truly Wireless Earbuds © Apple There are a ton of truly wireless earbuds out there on the market, and I think it's time we switch to wireless media instead of fiddling with cords for our day-to-day use. Yes, a good pair of wired earphones or headphones are still irreplaceable because of the sheer quality that it offers, but the convenience offered by a pair of truly wireless earbuds is unmatchable. You can gon with AirPods Pro if you're an Apple user, so buy the Samsung Galaxy Buds or Realme Buds if you're an Android phone user. A Smart Speaker © Amazon Smart speakers with digital assistants are just as popular as Bluetooth speakers once were. There's something satisfying about talking to your digital assistant and getting things done like setting an alarm, turning on lights and other appliances, etc. Options like the Amazon's Echo Dot and Google Home Mini are so good in terms of both audio quality and functionality that you simply can't ignore them. Be sure to check it out. View the full article

A large number of people are due to witness fireworks events in major cities of the country at midnight. Here are some events that you might want to attend in Pakistan.

  6. We all make mistakes and we all learn, at least we try to. Our favourite Bollywood stars are no different. While this movie making factory dishes out movies like crazy with so many new faces to experiment with, some movies only work for the beloved super stars acting in them. After all, loyalty has a price. However, some movies saw some of the biggest stars losing their senses and pelting out such bad performances that it legit hurt their fans. Here are six movies where some of the best actors gave really bad performances: 1. Love Story 2050 Our 'desi' girl is a global icon today with volumes of great works that speak for her. When she is not slaying on the red carpet or working on a good project, she is spotted in some virtual PDA with her beloved husband Nick Jonas. However, long before PeeCee became a Hollywood star, Love Story 2050 saw her dishing out a bad performance and as per rumours, it was reportedly because of her not-so-good relationship with her ex-flame Harman Baweja. 2. Khushi Bebo is one gorgeous actor who can look fiery and dish out immensely fiery performances in equal measure. However, it is a known fact that in her initial days of Bollywood, she signed some of the random projects but Khushi kind of tops the list, because what was that performance, you queen? 3. RGV Ki Aag You are not supposed to touch master pieces like Sholay because that is like playing with fire. And looks like, this is exactly what RGV wanted to do when he made this dud and managed to make BIG B look so intensely bored in this movie, that it probably made it to his regret list soon enough. 4. Aap Mujhe Acche Lagne Lage There is a reason why Hrithik Roshan is known as a Greek God. Those looks, that ripped body and a talent house of wonderful acting, I have no idea what went into him prepping up for this movie where nothing at all looked good to us. Why, Hrithik? 5. Besharam Ranbir Kapoor's work speaks for him. With tremendous acting done by this genius of an actor in films like Rockstar and Barfi, this movie has no explanation of how it landed in his kitty and why! 6. Dil Ne Jisse Apna Kaha Salman Khan's screen presence is strong enough to get the cash registers ringing but we have no logical explanation for what went into him doing this movie with Preity Zinta and Bhumika Chawla. Three good looking people, one badly written script. So glad that bhai is back to doing Dabangg and entertain us in a way which only he can do. View the full article
  7. *** is great. Thatâs just a fact that no one can dispute. However, all the paraphernalia that goes alongside this great act of all humankind? Not so much. Take condoms for example. As a contraceptive option and a way to curtail STIs & STDs, they are great. Naturally, given our propensity to use them and actually enjoy the act, experimentations regarding their shape, form and secondary functions have been aplenty. But clearly, there have been instances where things went a little out of hand (bazinga!). Flavoured condoms, for instance, is something thatâs just beyond us. We get the appeal of stuff like chocolates, strawberries and bubblegum, but who came up with the bright idea of making a ginger-flavoured condom? Or for that matter, one that tastes like Chicken Tikka Masala? I mean, what were they even thinking? And then, there is the whole debate on whether flavoured condoms are safe or not. There have been numerous reports which state that flavoured condoms mess up the pH level of your partnerâs nether regions, which may cause all sorts of issues, starting from difficulty in getting wet, rashes, or even irritation. So, before you fancy getting a little playful and get a craving for involving some Hyderabadi Biryani in your bed tonight, consult your partner. In the meantime, have a look at how creative we, as a species, have been when it comes to contraception: 1. Ginger We honestly still havenât been able to figure out how is this even a thing. Who would even buy this, and more importantly, what are they craving? Kudos to the brand, however, advertising it in a cheeky way. 2.   Garlic Granted that this is not that commonly available, but again, why in the name of all things holy would you go for something like this? As a strategy to market their restaurant, the Stinking Rose did come up with a rather witty campaign. As a viable condom, though...Not so clever after all. And what happens if youâre dating a vampire? 3.   Hyderabadi Biryani We literally have no words for this. Just have a proper meal before getting amorous, guys, will you? Plus, weâre pretty sure that this was an April Foolâs Day prank, but what if it wasnât? 4. Sabudana *Rolls Eyes* Oh, here we go again. Yes, this exists. But who even likes sabudana? Is this some April Foolâs day prank that pharmaceutical companies pulled on us. Imagine going to the chemist and saying, âBhaiya, sabudana dena.â 5.  Eggplant How did we not see this coming⦠As phallic as eggplants are in their shape, and as much as we have used it in texting, we have to agree, this one is partially on us. As much as well all love baingan ka bharta, this is proof that certain crossovers are just going a bit too far. 6.   Bacon Dear pharma companies, we get the need to diversify your product portfolio, but can you please not make buying condoms even more difficult than it already is? On second thoughts, we would really like the hotline number where people leave these brilliant ideas. We have some of our own. 7.    Chicken Tikka Masala As much as we all love a really good chicken tikka masala, this is just one more reason for our partners to say no. Whoever thought that having your nether regions covered with actual spice is a good idea, needs to have a word with us. 8.    Weed If the phrase, 'getting high on love' had a physical embodiment, this had to be it. Plus, weâre not sure that its the best way to go about. 9.   Nutella Thanks for ruining this childhood favourite of ours, guys. Thanks a lot. Yes, we get how appealing the idea must have been on paper, but some things are best left on the drawing board. 10.    Scotch Whiskey Seriously, guys? Do we really need to get alcohol into the mix? Doesnât it, anyway, make things a lot difficult? Honourable Mentions: 11. Paan 12. Bubblegum 13. Pickles View the full article
  8. There's only one thing going on in India today and literally every single person is just talking about that and only that - the Ayodhya Verdict. A lot of people are celebrating, I mean #JaiShriRam is one of the top trends worldwide right now, and at the same time, a lot of people are disappointed with the verdict as well. While the entire country is divided right now, some people are trying to lighten the situation by sharing some lighthearted jokes. Disclaimer: We are in no way taking away from the seriousness of the issue or trying to take sides, or even offend anyone. We're just sharing some inoffensive jokes and memes. Yep. 9. 2019's late-October turned out to be an interesting time for those looking to scratch that festive itch. While most of the country planned out vibrant desi outfits for Diwali, this year's festival of lights also shared the week with a rather different, darker holiday - All Hallows' Eve, more commonly known as Halloween. And with Comic-Con on the horizon for Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi all through the end of 2019, we went down to Delhi's hottest Halloween party in search of inspiration - Bacardi's #NightOfTheBat - CarnEvil of Horrors. © Bacardi/Over 2,000 attendees made the most of this spooky spectacle. With great dance music, hip-hop acts and horror-themed cocktails, the party itself was one to be remembered - but what really made the occasion so special was the crowd itself - a crowd of over two thousand Delhiites donned costumes with incredible levels of detail and effort. While there was no shortage of Jokers, vampires, ghosts n' ghouls, I stepped out in my own Terminator-themed duds on the hunt for standout costumes with a unique, interesting story to tell. Costume Highlights As far as seeking inspiration goes, you'd be hard pressed to find better variety. From all-original creations to faithful reproductions and everything in between, we saw superheroes, supervillains, classic horror figures and many more unique, unexpected twists on the dancefloor. © Sharan Sanil/Arsalan takes on the mask of Kaneki Ken, protagonist of horror-action anime, Tokyo Ghoul. Pop culture today isn't a one-way street anymore, where the world laps up whatever is thrown at them by mainstream western media. We're more connected than ever before to Japanese and Korean media as well - it's not too rare to find someone into K-Pop and K-Dramas, or Anime series. Anime fan Arsalan picked up the suitably grim and grisly series Tokyo Ghoul, representing its main character, the half-dark, half-light Kaneki Ken. © Sharan Sanil/Tanvir and Disha take their own American history detours, as the quintessential '90's kid' and an Apache tribeswoman. Another unique spin on costumes is this all-American blast-from-the-past duo. Tanvir's costume brings back memories of Will Smith's Fresh Prince persona from the early 90s - the gangsta' rap chains, oversized basketball jerseys and gravity-defying low-slung denims took me right back to that era. Disha, on the other hand, took her own Burning Man-style Apache avatar all the way to 11 - just look at that headdress! © Sharan Sanil/Khalid's netagiri costume definitely seized a landslide victory at the venue - I'd vote for him. Perhaps my favourite costume of them all was Khalid Wani's neta costume - complete with a siren-led VVVIP style entry to the venue that absolutely blew the competition away. Perhaps the most terrifying reality of India is its power-hungry political class after all. And his tongue-in-cheek satire came packaged with campaign stickers, which several party-goers proudly wore. “Halloween is a western thing, and all this pop culture is fine. I love my country however, and I want to put our representation ahead here as well,” he shares. © Sharan Sanil/Kabir and Mayank in sequined, glitzy 'disco-diva' robes. Along with pop-culture, Halloween also allows several members from India's LGBTQ+ community to self-express in a much more open environment than everyday life. Several queer folk represented themselves in drag and even classical greek depictions of homoeroticism. Stylists Kabir and Mayank designed their own 'disco-diva' outfits for the event, glittering in pink and blue on the dance floor. As a whole, the event was an incredible fusion of culture and music - even a surprise performance from rapper DIVINE sent the crowd into a wild frenzy. © Bacardi/DIVINE takes up the stage. All in all, it was an incredible experience that celebrated the capital's creativity and diversity - one we'd definitely urge you to visit next year - we hope you've got some cool new ideas for Comic-con too! 10. After Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Sunny Singh is here to entertain his fans once again with another project, Ujda Chaman. The film, a remake of the 2017 Kannada sleeper hit Ondu Motteya Kathe, tells the story of a young lecturer in Delhi suffering from premature balding. When an astrologer mandates that he must get married by 30 or else remain a bachelor forever, he starts looking out for the perfect bride. The movie has finally hit the screens for people to watch and judge if it conveys the message loud and clear or not. Well, the critics have been ridiculing the movie and have mentioned that it's a half-baked movie with less humour in place. However, the audience has been giving a mixed response to the movie. There are some who have bashed the movie left, right and centre, calling it a flop movie which is a waste of time. #UjdaChaman is tad and boring affair which got flummoxed under the debris of poorly written screenplay . It is unlike its trailer where majority of fun elements have been shown just to whet the appetite of cinegoers , this will be sure shot flop ! ââ — Rahul verma (@RahulVerma4860) November 1, 2019 I think #UjdaChaman is missing @ayushmannk — JAYANTA DAS (JD) (@jayantadas100) November 1, 2019 Total **** in movie... basterd #UjdaChamanreview #UjdaChaman waste of time...! pic.twitter.com/Fa8MuLJJvs — Sushil Tiwary (@Sushil_Tiw) November 1, 2019 Ujda chaman poor hai isko screen kyu diye @foxstarhindi — Sandip Khiladi HF4 (@KhiladiSandip) November 1, 2019 But, there are also some who have praised the movie for its jokes and performance by the lead actor, Sunny Singh. Whom to trust... — Nimit (@nimitarora1991) November 1, 2019 One of the Twitter users said that people should consider the fact that the original movie is much better than the remake. #UjdaChaman - A loud & intentional comedy ruining a rare & thoughtful sub officially adapted from a brilliant original. Frankly its sad that many sincere cinema lovers will watch this first ignoring the far superior & thought provoking orig Kannada film. ðð#BobbyTalksCinema — Bobby Talks Cinema (@bobbytalkcinema) November 1, 2019 Well, we would still suggest that you watch the movie on the big screen first, because everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Talking about his character, Sunny in an interview said, “The bottom line of my character is that he is under-confident. He hesitates before talking to anyone. He is embarrassed about his hair, because of which he is not getting a girl. 12. Food is serious business in India. From Mughal conquests that brought biryani to the subcontinent, to our modern headlines surrounding beef - everything from wars to social unrest can have a gastronomical element here. It comes as little surprise then, that this tweet found itself gaining speed earlier this week, in the wake of Abhijeet Banerjee's Nobel prize win. Dear Dhoklaeaters We gave you: 6 Nobels 1 Oscar for Lifetime Achievement National Anthem Vande Mataram We eat fish and motton. Beef and pork. Keep your Dhokla, Khandvi & thepla away from us. But if one forces their language or food habits on us, that would be my reply. — Aparna (@chhuti_is) 15 October 2019 Once you get the Internet going though, it's hard to put on the brakes. Several critical voices rose up - and from both sides of the fence. Gujaratis stood up against the user's message, Every state has unique identity. We love Dhokla, Khandvi & thepla. 13. Playing cricket for the most dominating force in the game, Team India, is not easy. More than the opponents, the passionate fans of the Men in Blue stay ready with a mouthful when an athlete does not perform, is struggling with a bad form or fails to win matches for his side regardless of how difficult the situation was when he got to the crease. One such athlete is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has been questioned, taunted and criticised about the way he plays in the hour of need for the Bleed Blue side. The fact that the former skipper is getting old, does not help either. But during India's second warm-up match in the ICC World Cup 2019 which was against Bangladesh, Dhoni looked like his old self. Like a stallion, with nothing but brute strength flowing through his veins. Scoring his ton in just 78 deliveries, the Ranchi born was making the ball fly left, right and centre on command, bringing the Indian batting order back in line with the help of KL Rahul, after an abysmal start to the innings with openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma disappointing yet again. So when Dhoni scored his century in fashion with a strong six over the bowler's head and raised his bat in the air to an awestruck audience, an overjoyed Virat Kohli was seen abusing in excitement, acknowledging his teammate's achievement. Indian stand-up comedian Papa CJ uploaded this video from the friendly match between India and Bangladesh last evening: Classic Dhoni and classic Virat ððð pic.twitter.com/jplLRvAVPy — Papa CJ (@PapaCJ) May 28, 2019 Albeit, Dhoni has been struggling a little bit with his form in the 50 over format of the game lately, but he is no stranger to hitting big shots. Likewise, Kohli is no stranger to expressing his emotions with the help of some cuss words. Therefore, Papa CJ's caption: “Classic Dhoni and classic Virat” makes absolute sense. And while parents would have had a tough time explaining their kids what the Indian skipper was caught mouthing on national television, his emotions were well understood by the fans of Indian cricket and those of MS Dhoni. 16. In case you have not watched today's finale, then here's a spoiler warning for you. For everyone who had watched and reacted and commented and lamented , you are not alone! Today's episode has left most fans with a cocktail of thoughts and before anything else, can I please take a moment of how brilliantly Bran orchestrated it all? Like Ekta Kapoor needs to sign him up for her next show. Bran can see anything right? So he knew the Iron Fleet was in Dragonstone and could kill Rheagal? However, the Chinese smartphone maker Nubia's new Red Magic 3 stands out from the rest. The Nubia Red Magic 3 manages to distinguish itself by offering an internal cooling fan. Yes, it's the world's first smartphone to come with a cooling fan inside, which, if you think about it, is pretty nuts. © Nubia It's not just the cooling fan that's keeping the internals cool. The phone also takes advantage of the liquid cooling system. But does it really needs all of that? Well, take a look at the specs, and we'll let you be the judge. The Nubia Red Magic 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor that's coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. In terms of the optics, the Red Magic 3 features a 48MP Sony IMX 586 at the back, and there's a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. Apparently, the phone can record 8K videos too. Also, just like some other gaming phones in the market, this one also features two shoulder buttons and front-facing stereo speakers. © Nubia Pricing & Availability The Red Magic 3, much like many other Chinese phones, will first launch in China on May 3. However, the manufacturer has confirmed that the phone will also debut in the US, UK, Canada, and EU. As for the pricing, the Red Magic 3 starts at 2,899 Yuan for the base variant, and it goes all the way up to 4,200 Yuan for the top-end variant with 12 gigs of RAM.
  19. Last evening's Indian Premier League match between Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings and Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore produced some really incredible moments of the 2019 season of the league. The thrilling last-minute drama with the brilliant direct hit by the RCB wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel allowed his side to win the third game of the season in a nail-biter. However, the innings played by the former Indian skipper has to be the talk of the town. While scoring his career best in the IPL (83 not out), Dhoni looked and played like his old self when he was challenging the age-old techniques of some of the greatest batsmen of the game with his unorthodox style and brute power. Mahi came to play and was focused from the first delivery, scoring a boundary at the deep point. We also got to see the finesse and creativity of the batter that he gathered and evolved through the years and years of playing international cricket as he smoothly directed a wide ball towards the deep fine leg. This career best performance consisted of five fours and a barrage of sixes, one of which was the longest any cricketer had hit this season at 111 metres, with the ball going out of the M. Chinnaswamy stadium onto the busy roads of Bangalore. What looked like an out-of-hand game for the 'Whistle Podu' franchise, came to the final delivery thanks to the superhuman game played by Dhoni. However, with a dot ball and a failed single, his efforts did not lead to a win. Nonetheless, Dhoni's efforts were recognised by the world: Dhoni for PM. 21. Election Commission (EC) is badass this year. They're banning people left, right and centre for good reason. Certain politicians have (ahem) a history of saying offensive and hurtful things. Remember the guy who blamed horniness of young men on street noodles? While saying whatever they like is usually admissible but during the election campaign, there are certain rules mandated by the EC that need to be followed. These rules have been undermined for years. However, this year in light of extensive campaigns and more access, courtesy social media, Election Commission has been proactive and we really appreciate them for it. Here is a list of ridiculous things that politicians said that got them banned for a short period, but that is also something. 1. Called the Muslim League a “green virus” that “caused the partition of the country” Yogi Adityanath, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader who is currently the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, made this comment among others in a speech that referred to the Muslim League a virus that “spread across the country to the extent that it caused the partition of the country". Adding fuel to the fire, he also said that the opposition party, Congress is “infected with the virus” and that “the Congress government used to serve biryani to terrorists and Modiji's army sends bullets and bombs their way,” which basically suggests calling around 14% of the Indian population a “green virus”. The EC had issued a 72-hour campaigning ban on him. 2. Commented on the opponent's underwear colour Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan is contesting in Rampur against his BJP opponent Jaya Prada, a former member of his own party, in a speech said, “I brought her to Rampur. You are a witness that I did not allow anyone to touch her body. It took you 17 years to identify her real face but I got to know in 17 days that she wears khaki underwear.” BJP Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj compared it to the mythological character Draupadi being disrobed in the Hindu epic Mahabharata. But, more importantly, this comment triggered a response from the National Commission for Women, whose chairperson Rekha Sharma is requested the EC to bar him from contesting the election entirely. He too was issued a 72-hour ban for making comments considered “sexist and derogatory”. 3. Threatened Muslims to vote in her favour Sultanpur candidate and Union Minister Maneka Gandhi said she would win regardless. However, if Muslims didn't help her, she “will not feel good, because then there is a bitter feeling.” She also said, “If Muslims come for some work after that I will think, "why bother". She also said the most ironical statement considering her name is Gandhi, “We are not Mahatma Gandhi's children to keep giving without getting anything in return”. EC banned her from polling for 48 hours. It had issued a similar ban before to Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati after she asked Muslims to vote for her party instead of Congress to help them defeat the BJP. These are only a few of the things that have come to the limelight. What other ridiculous things have you heard during the election campaign?
  22. The most-anticipated console of the next generation is going to be the PlayStation 5 and even though it won't launch in 2019, Sony has confirmed many specifications already. Sony may have decided to skip E3 this year, however, PlayStation 4's lead architect Mark Cerny has delivered some of the details that we've been speculating for months. © Youtube ps4 In an exclusive report by Wired, Cerny detailed some details that will make the PS5 super powerful. There are some key hardware upgrades that will make the PS5 one of the most anticipated consoles in the next generation. The console will have a very powerful GPU and CPU that will be based on AMD's eight-core Ryzen chips. The new cores will be built on AMD's 7nm Zen 2 architecture and a custom Navi board. The custom board will have support extremely high-end graphics and features like ray tracing. The powerful CPU will let games run smoothly and better in terms of frame rates. It will also result in shorter load times and a better overall experience than the PlayStation 4. The improved CPU will also play a vital role in ray tracing support. Ray tracing is basically a feature that was first unveiled by Nvidia on their latest 20 series GPUs. It enables better lighting effects, shadows and reflections. If you want to know more about ray tracing, you can read our detailed guide here. Other improvements include 3D audio will be most noticeable when playing on headsets. Cerny confirmed that even television speakers will take advantage of this feature as the upgrade is on the hardware level. The other major hardware upgrade would be the inclusion of SSDs. The consoles will be shipped with in-built SSDs that will reduce load times considerably. The SSD on the PS5 is said to be different from what's available in the market right now and is said to be even faster. © Pexels In terms of hardware, Cerny did not mention anything else, however, he did mention something in terms of software. Cerny confirmed that the PlayStation 5 will have backward compatibility which means you will be able to play your PS4 games on the console. The console is also said to have support for PS VR and will get a next-gen upgrade at some point. With the confirmations, we can confidently say that Sony has now set the bar for next-gen consoles. We will know more about the PS5 closer to its launch and that won't be until 2020. What remains a mystery now is how Microsoft will respond with the next Xbox console. Source: Wired

I'm not going to lie, the trailer is a lil cheesy and cringey, and I'm not even going to touch the fact that there is literally no school student who looks like that and there is no school actually like that. But, my opinions on the trailer aside, the true success or failure of a trailer depends on the memes on it, and in that sense, SOTY2 is a winner! 25. The biggest movie and possibly one of the biggest battle royale titles are about to collide once again, just in time for Avengers Endgame. Yes, it appears that 'Fortnite X Avengers' limited time mode from last year is going to be back. Epic hasn't officially announced the return of the mode yet, but as always, data miners have found some solid clues in the latest patch, pointing to the return of Thanos. © Epic Games Dataminer 'Skin-Tracker' has discovered a new kill feed message with the string “Yielded to the POWER of Thanos.” Apparently, there are more references to ice fiends and unleashing an "inferno" of some kind. New Kill Feed messages (1st image) and new Death Feed messages (2nd image) "unleashed an inferno on" sounds interesting...#fortnite pic.twitter.com/ROZnzTfLXo — Skin-Tracker (@SkinTrackerCom) April 10, 2019 The new kill feed also includes a message about being “zapped out of the sky”. What does that mean? Well, it's not entirely clear, but it sounds like a kick-ass weapon, which we simply can't wait to try. But that's all the info we about the return of this crossover event for now. It'll be interesting to see if Epic has made any changes to the LTM itself. Not like Thanos needs any new abilities, but it'll be interesting to something new. Anyway, we'll find out very soon.
