  1. You know how you should never call out people for doing something that you also do? Well, someone didn't get the memo and we got a very ironic story out of it. It all started with an angry tweet by music producer Vishal Dadlani where he issued a PSA of sorts for people who want to remix his songs. He doesn't want 'bastardized' versions of 'Dus Bahaane', 'Deedaar De', 'Sajnaji Vaari Vaari', 'Desi Girl', and more songs he has made. Warning: I WILL sue anyone making remixes of Vishal & Shekhar songs. I'll even move court against the films & musicians. After Saaki Saaki, I hear upcoming bastardisations include Dus Bahaane, Deedaar De, Sajnaji Vaari Vaari, Desi Girl & more. Make your own songs, vultures! — VISHAL DADLANI (@VishalDadlani) October 30, 2019 He's even willing to sue and take the musicians and films, who dare to do this, to court. Well, technically it's a very valid tweet, he's not wrong. He obviously has a right to protect his work and legally handling things would be ideal. But, the problem arises when you look at Vishal and Shekhar's work over the years. We may not remember all the 'bastardized' remixes they have done for movies, but there are still a few that jump out immediately. Remember this little song? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4PMUZ055vc&feature=youtu.be Or maybe this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcL6ZErM49Q&feature=youtu.be Yep. So, when they do it, it's completely fine, but someone else can't touch their songs. Hypocrite much? image1 People can't get over Badshah replying as well. Word sir — BADSHAH (@Its_Badshah) October 30, 2019 I love this song. Being a huge fan of Vishal-Shekhar's music, I personally will not tolerate if someone tries to ruin these 3 "original" gems of theirs: 1. Bachna Ae Haseeno: https://t.co/rylPUVHPxG 2. Disco Deewane: https://t.co/1T812kvHjV 3. Humein Tumse Pyaar Kitna: https://t.co/rt8TCm3Edr — Rohan Dasgupta (@RohanDasgupta) October 30, 2019 Yes, someone please. Somebody please tag Neha kakkar. — Hiya (@Laissezfairebro) October 30, 2019 Yep. I agree remix of such epic composition should not be made. But he has also made remix of original songs. Bachna ae haseeno title song to name one. Also bhai Neha Kakkar aapke sath hogi India Idol me. Usse start karna. And last badshah has replied in agreement with him ðððð https://t.co/EOgsnqgXZb — GABRU (@PaarthMUFC) October 31, 2019 They're gone. Vishal Dadlani... I'll sue if you remix our songs Neha kakkar and tanishk bagchi left the chatð — Ahsan (@AHSANKHARBAI) October 30, 2019 Oops. If all the creators whom u guys copied all your life , sue u...U guys will come on road.. https://t.co/2J0oA9Tqg5 — TheWhiteCamel (@The_White_Camel) October 31, 2019 You get the point. I remember.. 'Jiske ghar sheeshe ke hote hain..' Something... Here's the linkhttps://t.co/4nQ7FEo1Vd https://t.co/CS8n5YQceN — MissSunshine™ (@savvykapoor) October 31, 2019 Good one. Bachna ae haseeno....lo Vishal aa gaya... https://t.co/NbDC8F7kxc — The Rich Poor (@TheRichPoor) October 31, 2019 Time for a reality check? Good morning https://t.co/EYBPTo90hc — Nirwa (@nirwamehta) October 31, 2019 Great photoshop. pic.twitter.com/LR0lbdYmZu — Golà¤à¤ªà¥à¤ªà¥ (@LamerGappu) October 30, 2019 All of them. Everyone in Bollywood including musicians are hypocrites! They can steal songs/music from 70s but if anyone remake their own songs tab mirchi lagti hai ! — PowerPuff Girl (@Nish70574141) October 31, 2019 View the full article

This plugin will allow you to add music to your profile. Profile Songs is originally a 4.1.x plugin developed by Rory Soh from the IPS Marketplace. It's been abandoned for nearly a year so I've taken the liberty of updating the plugin. Original File Description This allows you to set a custom song to the forum profile. Moderators and Administrators are allowed to remove them easily, it will erase the file from your web server as well. You simply just go to the member's profile who has an inappropriate song and remove it by selecting "Remove Song" from Profile Song option. You can also set profile songs for members if you wish. What's New 4.3.x compatibility, no template changes needed. Any changes you made to your profile template for this plugin should be reverted. NEW configurable profile song size setting. Song size is in kB (kilobytes). A minimum size of 1,000 (1MB or 1 Megabyte) and a maximum size of 50,000 (50MB). This setting defaults to 2,500 (or 2.5MB). Future Updates I'll do my best to update this plugin for 4.4.x compatibility, if necessary, in a timely fashion. I'd also like to implement a configurable volume setting. In the meantime, you can use the steps below to add your own volume setting manually. Add your own volume setting Locate your ps_display HTML template and replace this: <div class='ipsType_center'> <p> {{if \IPS\Settings::i()->song_display_autoplay}} <audio autoplay="" controls="" loop="" preload="" class="ps_audio"> <source src="{$profileSong->file->url}"></source> </audio> {{else}} <audio controls="" loop="" preload="" class="ps_audio"> <source src="{$profileSong->file->url}"></source> </audio> {{endif}} </p> </div> With this: <div class='ipsType_center'> <p> {{if \IPS\Settings::i()->song_display_autoplay}} <audio autoplay="" controls="" loop="" preload="" class="ps_audio" id="profilesong"> <source src="{$profileSong->file->url}"></source> </audio> {{else}} <audio controls="" loop="" preload="" class="ps_audio" id="profilesong"> <source src="{$profileSong->file->url}"></source> </audio> {{endif}} </p> </div> And then add the following code to the bottom of that template: <script> var audio = document.getElementById("profilesong"); audio.volume = 0.25; </script> You can change the volume setting by changing the 0.25 (1.0 is default).
  3. Music is one of the greatest markers of any civilisation. It grows, changes and evolves into something entirely different at the turn of every decade that comes to a close. Every new beginning welcomes new changes to the realm of music and the end result leaves a lasting impression on our minds. Yet, even with the constant evolution that music undergoes from time to time, certain compositions simply strike a chord and stick with us. Why? Maybe because the beats were catchy, or the film was one of your favourites from that year, or simply because the music got under your skin for no particular reason. But what we can't deny is the fact that even after so many years since the first time we heard those songs, we love them just as much even after a gap of 10 long years. We list down 10 such uber popular Bollywood songs from 2009 that were crazy hits and will soon be completing 10 years. So get ready to feel really old and find some of your favourite tracks on this list here, because frankly, we didn't see this coming. 1. Emotional Attyachaar (Dev.D) The absolute upheaval that this composition caused to the music charts in 2009 doesn't need much recollection. Emotional Attyachaar from 'Dev.D' came handy during so many situations besides a heartbreak, it quickly became a classic. 2. Dhan Te Nan (Kaminey) One of Vishal Bharadwaj's best compositions, this was from Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Kaminey' was played at every house party and discotheque with equal enthusiasm. Edgy and entertaining, with high-rolling beats this one kept everyone pumped. 3. Tera Hone Laga Hoon (Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani) This song from 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif sort of became the romance anthem of the year. Well, what can we say, guys took to it pretty quickly. 4. Iktara (Wake Up Sid) This one was a popular choice not only then, but even to this day, as we can find this song in a lot of people's playlist. And when we say a lot, we mean it. This soulful song not only fetched the singer the best playback singer award but also became a major hit. 5. Chiggy Wiggy (Blue) Even though 'Blue' tanked at the box office big time, this song was a major crowd-puller in 2009 because it saw Australian-British pop star, Kylie Minogue's first ever Bollywood collaboration. Apart from the song and music, those moves Kylie pulled off with Akshay Kumar were too good! 6. All Izz Well (3 Idiots) This one doesn't need any introduction for obvious reasons. This became a raging anthem with the younger lot of the time, and still continues to be a very popular number even after 10 years since it first came out. 7. Genda Phool (Delhi-6) Ask your mother and you will know exactly how much every mother and aunt in the country came to love this song, and relate to some or the other part of it. Regardless, there is no denying this was a popular number in 2009. 8. Paisa Paisa (De Dana Dan) The lyrics of this one, as well as Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif grooving to this song, got to the guys. If you haven't heard this one, you better. Then you will know exactly why. 9. Hai Junoon (New York) This one was meant for the squad and everybody appreciated it. People instantly connected to it because it reminded them of their friends and that is always a winner! 10. Twist (Love Aaj Kal) If you didn't dance to this one at least at five different parties, then did you even have any fun in 2009? This one took all the parties and dance sessions by storm!
  4. Remember PewDiePie's 'Bitch Lasagna' and the more recent 'Congratulations' diss tracks against T-Series? Yeah, those videos have now been taken down from YouTube. Why? Well, T-Series filed a petition with the Delhi High Court against those music videos. The court reviewed the videos and found them to be offensive, following which it asked YouTube to pull them down. (c) Youtube According to a Bar&Bench report, the Delhi High Court gave strict orders to YouTube, directing them to remove the two songs published by Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie from its platform. “The interim order was granted by a Single Judge Bench of Justice Jayant Nath in a suit preferred by T-Series owner Super Cassettes Pvt Ltd., seeking to permanently restrain Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, from uploading the songs titled 'T-Series Diss Track/Bitch Lasagna' and 'Congratulations'," said the report. The High Court apparently found the content of the video and even the comments on the video abusive, vulgar, and also racist in nature. Hence, the court decided that it would be best if those videos were taken down.
  5. Even though Nirvana didn't put out a lot of music, they still have so many incredible songs. Their entire discography is made up of three studio albums, a couple live records and a handful of Eps and obviously that includes the iconic 'Nevermind', that revolutionized music. The band's sound was basically rock mixed with punk, that led to the 'grunge' revolution. These are our top picks, and yes 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' is really good, but it's too overrated and honestly, Nirvana has a lot of better songs. Check out pick for the 15 best tunes by them below:- 1. Lithium – Nevermind 2. Heart-Shaped Box – In Utero 3. The Man Who Sold The World 4. Come As You Are – Nevermind 5. About A Girl – Bleach 6. Rape Me – In Utero 7. Polly – Nevermind 8. Breed – Nevermind 9. Where Did You Sleep Last Night 10. Lounge Act – Nevermind 11. I Hate Myself And Want To Die – In Utero 12. Something In The Way – Nevermind 13. All Apologies – In Utero 14. In Bloom – Nevermind 15. On A Plain – Nevermind
  6. I feel Lilly Singh is one of the OG YouTubers and while a lot of them have become very irrelevant now, iiSuperwomanii is still giving everyone original content and that too on top of getting her own 'Late Night' show. Yes, I know she's Canadian and not Indian but she's still desi - and fully embraces that - and it's a win for us also okay, thanks. Coming back to her videos, she just released a video that could end Bollywood. Not really, but it's pretty great. So, she reimagined a few Bollywood songs as raps and changed the lyrics up to make them so relatable, it's uncanny. Starting off with 'Choli Ke Peeche', she raps about body positivity and self-love. And, that dig at Fair and Lovely just made my day. Next comes 'All Is Well' and a rap about mental health and a lot of desi problems. Obviously, this had to be there. Last song was 'Aankh Maarey' and she turned it into a Bi-Anthem and it's so beautiful to see that. And, yes she did make the 'one more remix' joke. Here's the video: As soon as it released, people coudn't stop raving about it, obviously, because it's just so great. For sure. this is insane oh my god. besides all the amazing acting, rapping, production and editing, THE MESSAGE. the underlying messages!! you're a genius @IISuperwomanII one of your best videos for sure. https://t.co/lTiu2WkVMQ — ð¼ðªð½ð¿ð²ð´ðª â¡ (@singhxstark) March 28, 2019 So original. Always reinventing. Always brilliant. So much soul. @IISuperwomanII https://t.co/UTSQY7G2O8 pic.twitter.com/81GGkGGVkx — Vikas Khanna (@TheVikasKhanna) March 28, 2019 That part in particular is great. Bollywood rap by @IISuperwomanII is best video you will see today. Lilly is ONE whole icon. Go watch her latest YT video: If Bollywood Songs Were Rap. YA GIRL HAS SET FIRE. pic.twitter.com/8qgjkjdNw3 — Meghalee Mitra (@meghalee_mitra) March 28, 2019 That lungi tho. I fucking can't get over how good this is. And you in a lungi just made my entire year. I'm going to replay this video until my death thank you very much. — Samyuktha/21st Apr.⤠(@TeamSuperPipoca) March 28, 2019 The best of both worlds. @IISuperwomanII's new video is not only full of bops, but also promotes great messages, we have to stan — Nida loves Lilly (@Flowerstar_5) March 28, 2019 Yep. 7. Holi means family, friends, colours, greasy food and bhaang. But Holi also means letting your hair down and having a good time with friends over rounds of food and merrymaking. Most Holi celebrations come with a house full of loud friends and family, a garden that looks like a science experiment gone wrong, and intoxicated bodies grooving to good music in the company of people who matter. So given that house parties are a norm during Holi, and no house party, especially one that's been kept on the occasion of Holi, can be successful without foot tapping, groovy music, we bring you a list of 10 songs that should definitely make it to your playlist this Holi. 1. Mungda - Total Dhamaal This revamped version of the good ol' 'Mungda' featuring dancing queen Helen, Sonakshi takes this song to another level and the newer beats are 10 times peppier! 2. Go Pagal - Jolly LLB 2 This one is just as crazy as the song's title, and we bet you can't stop but shake your leg to this song! 3. Chhote Chhote Peg - Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety This is definitely good to help set the mood when bhaang (or hard liquor) and good food is on your mind besides a lot of other things. 4. Aankh Maare - Simmba This one had to be on the list because it has a LOT of takers and is highly popular for any sort of party. 5. Yeah Baby Refix - Garry Sandhu The entire nation, regardless of their love for Punjabi music, could be seen shaking a leg to this one. This is truly too good to let go of. 6. Tere Te - Guru Randhawa Trust Guru Randhawa to never disappoint when it comes to delivering music that will get your feet tapping. This one by the singer is surely one such stellar number and deserves a place on your playlist. 7. She Move It Like - Badshah Have you guys checked out Badshah's latest single? It's got quite a ring to it honestly. 8. Chamma Chamma - Neha Kakkar, Tanishk, Ikka, Romy Yeah, we know it's a recreation of the old song by the same name from the movie 'China Gate', but Nora Fatehi is killing it in this song! 9. Expert Jatt - Nawab The beats of this song will get you hooked and grooving like no other. Also, can you tell the music of this song sounds similar to which other popular Punjabi song? 10. Putt Jatt Da - Diljit Dosanjh It's always a pleasure to lend an ear to Diljit crooning yet another one of his marvels. This peppy number became an instant hit for obvious reasons too.
  8. Looking for some new Punjabi music to add to your list when you hit the road for a drive, or simply looking for new groovy stuff? We've got you covered! Here's a list of some brand new hit Punjabi tracks this month: 1. Coka: This latest Punjabi track that dropped this month is for all the beautiful girls out there presented to you by Sukh-E, the same guy who got us the famous song 'Jaguar' back in the day. 2. Thug Life: Trust us to put Diljit Dosanjh in all of our lists since he never disappoints. Our favourite boy is back with a new song and you must add it your list, just in case you haven't. 3. Purje: Mankirt Aulakh's videos are as elaborate as his music and one needs to watch him unfold drama on the screen while enjoying the song. Here's he's back again with a gun in his hand and a 'Gangland' hangover. 4. Makhna: Well this one didn't technically drop this month but if you're a Honey Singh fan then we guess you already have it on your list. 5. Jatt Life: Varinder Brar is here with a video that describes his 'Jatt Life' musically with some posh cars thrown in for effect.
  9. The year may have just started, but rocking parties will continue to come and go, with every other excuse. But, if you happen to be playing host in one such party, you have to ensure that the music at the venue is top notch. Well, you can stop worrying about that now because we've got your back. Taki Taki - DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, Cardi B, Ozuna This one is still topping the charts all around the world for obvious reasons! The peppy beats and the excellent collaboration are an absolute winner. 2. Aankh Maarey - Tanishk, Mika, Neha Kakkar & Kumar Sanu No, this song is not going anywhere, anytime soon. So deal with it, and maybe dance to it too. 3. Thank U, Next - Ariana Grande One of Ariana's top releases from the past year, this song is here to stay too. 4. Undecided - Chris Brown Chris Brown's most recent release, this one has everything you might need to get the party grooving. 6. Chamma Chamma - Neha Kakkar, Tanishk, Ikka, Romy Yeah, we know it's a recreation of the old song by the same name from the movie 'China Gate', but Nora Fatehi is killing it in this song! 7. Say My Name - David Guetta, Bebe Rexha & J Balvin This track is so amaze, we wonder why more people aren't going crazy over it. 8. Putt Jatt Da - Diljit Dosanjh It's always a pleasure to lend an ear to Diljit crooning yet another of his marvels. This peppy number became an instant hit for obvious reasons too. 9. Let You Love Me - Rita Ora Rita Ora has been churning hits after hits, and this one doesn't promise anything less than a good time. 10. Expert Jatt - Nawab The beats of this song will get you hooked and grooving like no other. Also, can you tell which other popular Punjabi song does this song's music sound similar to?
  10. What happened? Where did the time go? How is it 2019 already? Am I causing everyone to have an existential crisis? Sorry. But seriously, so many songs that were the top songs in 2009 are still bangers to this date and people still probably listen to them. Time really flies when your life is falling apart. From the Black Eyed Peas releasing a hit after hit to Beyoncé coming out with the iconic 'Single Ladies', 2009 was really the best year for parties. So many new hit songs, so many choices, and it feels like everything just went downhill from there. So, let's go back a decade and relive all the top party songs that came out in 2009: 1. Boom Boom Pow - Black Eyed Peas We all should still say 'you're so 2000 and late' to people, let's do it! 2. Just Dance - Lady Gaga I had to make a hard decision between this and 'Poker Face' but let's face it, this is the song that can make anyone dance. 3. Right Round - Flo Rida The song probably spins everyone's head right round. 4. Single Ladies - Beyoncé I think this is still the first song people associate with Beyoncé, it's that iconic. 5. Heartless - Kanye West Kanye West releasing great music and not supporting Trump, what a great time to be alive. 6. Kiss Me Thru The Phone - Soulja Boy If you say you don't remember all the lyrics - especially the phone number - from this song, you're lying. 7. Birthday *** - Jeremih People still play this on all of their friends' birthdays and that's what you need to know about the impact of the song. 8. I Know You Want Me - Pitbull Mr Worldwide makes an entry on the list! 9. I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas Is tonight a good night? 10. Hotel Room Service - Pitbull Can't have just one Pitbull song on a party song list, obviously.

  12. December is an indication of the end of the year and also kicks off the party season for everyone. But what is a party without Punjabi music, right? Here is a list of top 15 Punjabi songs that have been chartbusters all around the year: 1. Teeje Week Jordan Sandhu is the new 'Sandhu' in town and his song is already topping the charts! This is a break up song that describes the whole emotion in a hilarious, yet relatable way. 2. Putt Jatt Da Diljit, his voice, the music video and the song. You don't need a reason to know why this was one of the best songs of the year, right? 3. Lamberghini You cannot help but croon along to this song as you drive your Honda Jazz, A Merc or even when you are just travelling in the metro. 4. Prada Another song that is smooth in terms of the singer's voice and lyrics and has been quite a favourite for a long time. 5. Expert Jatt This is one of my personal favourites and you cannot help but groove to it continuously. 6. Yeah Baby Refix Garry Sandhu knows how to make you fall in love with his music, and there is no way you have not heard this one. 7. Sip Sip Jasmine Sandlas, the badass Punjaban we love, had guys go crazy over her 'Sip Sip' this year. 8. Kya Baat Ay Harrdy Sandhu had this hit number after his 'Na' made everyone go crazy last year. 9. Bamb Sukh-E and Badshah came together for a peppy song that is perfect for you to send it to your girl . 10. Made In India How can one not have a Guru Randhawa number on the list when you talk about top numbers, right? He has ventured into Bollywood and we wished he made more music. 11. High End Another Diljit number on our list because we obviously cannot get enough of him. This one was the song he made for Kylie and the video was an instant hit when he released it. 12. Jatt Da Muqabala Trust Sidhu Moosewala to make music that is raw, rustic, full of energy and hence, they automatically enter your playlist. 13. Diamond This one has been playing at every wedding this year so clearly it's been a hit. 14. Laung Laachi Mannat Noor's voice and Neeru Bajwa's dance moves have made sure that everyone dances along to this fun number. 15. Pasand Jatt Di Amy Virk had a wonderful year thanks to his wonderful 'kismat' and his movie 'Qismat' that did wonders at the box office. His song 'Pasand Jatt Di' has been burning the dance floor since its release. Now before you get all aggressive and tell us we missed on a particular number, then please have some heart. Obviously, choices and tastes in music are different for everyone and this is a cumulative list of what was popular everywhere, not just in my playlist.
  13. Happy Birthday, Sanju! The insane success of your movie at the box office is proof that you're one of the best actors in Bollywood right now. Congratulations on turning 36 today. Wait! While Ranbir might have already planned his birthday party, we have curated a playlist for him (a compilation of his popular songs, basically) that he can play at his own bash. In fact, this is one playlist that should be on your device too, irrespective of how old certain songs are. Some of these songs are almost a decade old, yet they are so good, that their lyrics and choreography are still vivid in our memories. 1. Badtameez Dil from 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' 2. The Breakup Song from 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' 3. Dilliwali Girlfriend from 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' 4. Main Tera Dhadkan Teri from 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' 5. Cutiepie from 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' 6. Matargashti from 'Tamasha' 7. Sooraj Dooba Hai from 'Roy' 8. Small Town Girl from 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' 9. Galti Se Mistake from 'Jagga Jasoos' 10. Main Badhiya Tu Bhi Badhiya from 'Sanju' After giving a stellar performance in 'Sanju', Ranbir is currently busy with his upcoming movie 'Brahmastra' that also stars Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.
  14. Imagine you are scrolling through your Facebook feed, the autoplay is turned on and you are greeted by a wild cacophony of sounds that instantly make you cringe and you wish you could get a detox done, right then and there. But alas, that is not to be. There is no coming back from the trauma of living through Tahir Shah's 'Eye To Eye' even if it was merely for a few seconds. While most decent human beings would try to recuperate from the shock and let it go, I decided to turn my pain into a means of mass torture to put things in sync with the 'Morose Monday' #feels. In the last few years, numerous 'viral' songs hit our screens and made us pull at our hair in the sheer hope that anything besides this, would be a better source of agony. So I decided to pick the 7 most terrible (read dardnaak) viral songs in the recent years that made our ears bleed. 1. Dhinchak Pooja 'Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj' & 'Dilon Ka Shooter Hai Mera Scooter' With 36,118,838 and 12,160,485 views respectively, who would guess these are a sham in the name of songs? When Dhinchak Pooja's 'Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj' came out, it was so widely circulated across social media platforms that you couldn't have escaped it even if you tried. The pain was for real and lasted for weeks to come even after you went ahead on a social media detox. 2. Pikotaro - 'PPAP' (Pen Pineapple Apple Pen) While the obscure lyrics of this one apparently made the song “catchy” for some and even evoked laughter at first, I wouldn't say I could tolerate it for a second time, even as it was picking up the pace in India. My Instagram and Facebook feed was literally blowing up with this guy's face and his strange song talking about a non-existent fruity pen that nobody really gave a shit about. Also, what was with that outfit?! 3. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan - 'Love Charger' God must have his ways of bringing people to justice because after putting people through this torture, it is only a miracle the victims have survived to tell their stories. I wonder who wrote such horrid lyrics and then added such ear-puncturing music to produce such a ghastly composition that will trouble generations to come, who have access to this god-awful piece. 4. Om Prakash - 'Bol Na Aunty Aau Kya' It is with a heavy heart that I am including this song to the story, because neither the song nor the lyrics possess anything of value to go viral. The lyrics are sexist, demeaning and introduce rape as the normal outcome of wearing short clothes or hanging out with friends. The very fact that people found such a derogatory song entertaining and funny is appalling, to say the least. 5. Vennu Mallesh - 'It's My Life Whatever I Wanna Do' Another masterpiece that shattered the little semblance of tolerance we had for upcoming talents. Who decides to fund such songs and even rent out an entire studio for such a joke of a music video? And to top it all, this went viral because, of course, we had never heard anything of the sort before. 6. Rinku Bhabhi - 'Mere Husband Mujhe Pyaar Nahi Karte' I wouldn't lie but I had a fit of laughter the first time I heard this song. I know I said the first time because I am guilty of having heard it two more times when my sister and best friend decided to make me relive the moments of “ecstasy” during two different occasions. I really cannot say I can make much sense out of this. 7. Taher Shah - 'Eye To Eye' & 'Angel' I really have no words for these two jewels right here, but if you have heard these songs, know that your life wasn't the same after. Also, you gotta watch both the videos to share my pain. Please. Tell us, which of these make it to your most painful viral videos list?
  15. It is raining, 'Netlflix and chill' needs to happen and so does the manadatory cupboard cleaning right? well, if you love procrastinating everything and today seems like a Sunday where you just need to stare the fan and make life decisions, then this small playlist will help ease out your tired soul: 1. Zinda Hoon Yaar- The song for that time when anyone wants to make plans with a lazier version of you. Jokes apart, this one hits the chords of the heart like a familiar ache. 2. Tum Ho- Who can go wrong with a Mohit Chauhan number playing in the background while you clean out that cupboard? 3. Chamba Kitni Door- Another Mohit Chauhan number which is a very famous Himachali folk song as well. If you are not in Kasauli, it doesn't matter, this song will ease that wanderlust feeling. 4. Tum Meri Baahon Mein- A movie which was long forgotten but the songs still stay strong. An innocent Hrithik asking why he fell in love in the first place is all of us asking the same question to an unrequited love. 5. Meer-E-Kaarwan- A beautiful hymn like song that can brighten up even the dullest of moods on a lazy Sunday evening. 6. Madno- Two versions, both beautifully sung and both touch your soul in the same way! 7. Ishq Di Baajiyan- The latest Diljit number that is not talking about a 'Patiala peg' but the simplicity of his love for the woman of his dreams. 8. Kinna Sohna- The movie might be a dud but this romantic number takes the age old 'kinna sohna' compliment and spells it out beautifully. If nothing else, just listen to this for your own sake.
  16. If you have a love for Punjabi music or even if you don't, there is a 99 % chance that you have heard the chart-topping love song 'Qismat' by Ammy Virk. It has been playing in every club and on every radio channel ever since it was released. The fan following of this song was so crazy that it was eventually made into a movie and the trailer looks pretty good as well. If you loved the track 'Qismat' and are looking for a few more Ammy Virk numbers to add to your list, then here are some bops you might like: 1. Chidi Blauri- This is from his last outing on the screen with Neeru Bajwa in 'Laung Laachi'. This is a festive number and certainly the kind that makes your foot tap. 2. Taara- This is for everyone with a broken heart and is probably already on your playlist. He compares his cheating lover to a shooting star and the poetry is actually quite on point. 3. Zindabaad Yaarian – This is a beautiful song on friendship and loyalty, reminiscing the good old times. 4. Bullet vs Chamak Challo – The song describes the hilarious troubles endured by every guy whose girlfriend cannot stop judging him for every choice he makes. 5. Gaani- Probably one of the lesser-known songs by the singer, but a great choice for anyone looking to woo a Punjabi girl. 6. Hath Chumme- Ammy sings from a broken heart like no one's business and this track is another golden feather to his song collection.
  17. Taking a different road altogether, director Anurag Kashyap has given us something that we haven't seen before. Known for making dark and complex movies, Kashyap, this time, has experimented with a love-triangle. Believe it or not, one look at the trailer for 'Manmarziyan' and you can't help but love it as much as we do. © Eros Now The trailer stays true to its title and brilliantly shows the twisted and messy human relationships and emotions. Abhishek Bachchan is back on the silver screen after two years and saying that we are pleased to see him would be an understatement. Junior Bachchan's appearance is soothing and heartfelt. Adding to the leads are Tapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, who are definitely Bollywood's great finds. © Eros Now Unlike Kashyap's previous movies, 'Manmarziyan' comes across as a surprise. There is no brooding Nawazuddin Siddiqui, no coal mining kingpin, no abuses, no gangster clashes, no bloodshed and no gunshots. Yes, 'Manmarziyan' is nothing like his previous films and it's just about pure human emotions, which Kashyap has beautifully showcased in the trailer. © Eros Now TBH, you will be very surprised to know that this movie has no cuss words, instead, has a whopping 12 songs. Well, no doubt Kashyap indeed makes brilliant movie albums. The 'Gangs of Wasseypur' soundtrack is an example of sheer brilliance and still rules our playlist, and we expect the same from this movie as well. And let's admit it, we already love the background score from the trailer. © Eros Now The 12-song journey is bound to leave the audience enthralled, and let us assure you that they won't be long and you won't be bored. © Eros Now A source told Spotboye, "A few of them even take the story forward. 'Manmarziyan' has turned out very well and it's gonna be fun. Nobody will believe when he/she sees the film that this has been directed by Anurag Kashyap." Well, we are totally rooting for this movie and can't wait to see how this complicated love story unfolds.
  18. For someone who was deemed dead and buried after his knee surgery in 2016, Roger Federer has come a long way to prove his detractors wrong, sweep top honours and arguably establish himself as the 'Greatest of All Time' (GOAT) in tennis. From his emotional speeches to honest, down-to-earth interviews, the Swiss ace has managed to punch above his weight with humility and redefine the aura of a memorable champion. Today, Federer stands tall with 20 Grand Slam titles to his name - most by a man in tennis. While his age might not do justice to his abilities on court, the Swiss ace has won pretty much everything there is in the sport. Clearly, he has nothing left to prove. But, despite all that, Federer looks fitter, seems younger (in his play) and appears hungrier to add more silverware to his envious trophy cabinet. A shot for each year. #AusOpen wishes @rogerfederer a happy 37th birthday. See the full 37-point compilation: https://t.co/TC5sADJ4mI. pic.twitter.com/ILUJaybiHH — #AusOpen (@AustralianOpen) August 8, 2018 Undeniably the John Wayne of tennis, Federer has reached a record 30 men's singles Grand Slam finals, including 10 in a row from the 2005 Wimbledon Championships to the 2007 US Open. He has also won a record six ATP Finals, 27 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles, and a record 20 ATP World Tour 500 titles. 37. Earth is 4.5 billion years old and I am lucky enough to be around at the same time as you. Happy birthday @rogerfederer. Thank you for being the light in my life. Supporting you is one of the truest joys I will ever know. pic.twitter.com/0KB19B37mn — Fiona (@federering) August 7, 2018 As Federer turns 37 today, here's a look at some of the fun facts about one of the biggest names in tennis history: © Twitter A legend today, Federer began hitting tennis balls at a tender age of one-and-a-half years. By the time he turned four, the Swiss star could hit 30 straight shots without a miss. © Twitter Federer, at the age of 10, lost his first tournament match 6-0, 6-0 to Switzerland's Reto Schmidli. Till date, Schmidli remains the only tennis player who didn't allow Federer to win a game during a match. But, at 37, while Federer has won 20 Grand Slams, Schmidli is working as a postman. © Twitter While he might seem like the perfect embodiment of a true champion today, Federer began his stint in tennis as a temperamental kid who had a hard time containing his emotions. An aggressive teenager, Federer was made to clean toilets for a week after he smashed his racquet to rip a courtside curtain in Biel - Switzerland's national tennis centre. To release stress, his coach, later, had him scream while listening to Metallica. © Instagram/@rogerfederer In 2011, following a global study of more than 50,000 people in 25 countries, Federer was labelled as the second most respected and trusted individual in the world after Nelson Mandela. © Twitter Federer is a citizen of both Switzerland and South Africa. He speaks four languages, is a savvy businessman and a well-paid brand ambassador. His personal monogram 'RF' is the most famous in sports. © Instagram/@rogerfederer The tennis legend is a sucker for AC/DC and Bond films. He is also a self-proclaimed fan of the movies “Finding Neverland” and “Good Will Hunting”. He enjoys visiting art museums in his time away from court.
  19. It is a Sunday evening and you're either preparing for a long drive or a party at a friend's place, or you're chilling at home or maybe you already have some friends over. Whatever the situation may be, the mood demands for a killer playlist that ensures you have a night that you won't forget, and this list caters to that 'sasti masti' or what we may call, 'cheap thrills' feels and will get you dancing while you scroll down: 1. Husn Hai Suhana- If you don't like this song, then maybe this list isn't for you in the first place. Govinda made 'Na Goriya' cooler way before than Hardy Sandhu came up with his 'Na Goriye'! 2. Kar Gayi Chull- Expect Badshah and his foot tapping numbers to be on this list. For additional dance moves, I am sharing the original and the revamped version as well. 3. Get Up Jawanii- Honey Singh and Badshah croon for a Rani. Nostalgia alert for beating that booty along with Kashmira Shah's moves. 4. Oh Ho Ho- Give me an instance of even a single Punjabi wedding where this song was not played, and I will start believing that the sky is not blue. 5. Lataka – Please don't ask for the meaning of this song, but if you tell me you don't like this bombastic number, then as Urmila sings 'tumko tada' ( I don't even know what this even means...but sounds lit!) 6. Chunari Chunari- The 90s were mostly about Bollywood's obsession with 'dupatta' numbers right? 7. Oh Laal Dupaate Wali- Seee, another 'dupatta' number. I can do a whole list of songs dedicated just to this particular floating object of desire. 8. Saat Samundar Paar- Love the tempo and how it catches up with your dancing pace. 9. Kisi Disco Mein Jaaye- 'Chalo Ishq Ladaye' while we just dance along? 10. Dil Tote Hogaya – Hans Raj Hans weaves his magic like no one's business and you end up dancing like it's definitely your own business. Hope your Sunday is as colourful as this list!
  20. It is the season of rain, traffic jam, potholes opening up, more 'chai' than wine and a lot of feel of pure romance. It doesn't matter whether you have that special someone in your life or you are single, we present to you the ultimate monsoon playlist that will make you want to dance with that special someone, even if you are single! Here are our 18 top favourites: 1. Sawan Barse Tarse Dil You either have heard this song and keep going back to it, or you haven't heard it and will now love it. No other way to describe this. 2. Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein The original song is a melodious romantic number from the 70s but the 90s kids recognise it for its revamped sexy avatar that was on everyone's playlist. 3. Neeley Neeley Ambar Par Yet another classic 'baarish' number that was revamped for all of us by Nitin Bali. Rings a bell? 4. Rim Jhim Girey Saawan One of those iconic songs which can be termed as the OG of all 'baarish' numbers. R D Burman and Lata Mangeshkar have weaved some serious magic with this one. If this doesn't make you want to forward it to someone, what will? 5. Koi Ladki Hai We all have done some version of 'chak dhoom dhoom' during our school days and only wished we had someone who could match our steps. 6. Zara Zara Behakta Hai If this song is not touching your carnal desires and making you wish you were not stuck at work or at home with your mom/dad and actually holding someone close, then actually nothing will. Just sleep. 7. Hum Tum The part where she sings 'shabnam ki boondein' gives thee all the feels of thy aching heart! 8. Ke Sawan Trust Shubha Mudgal to give meaning and music to your desires. 9. Kabhi Jo Badal Barse Finally we have an Arijit number. This could make you miss your lover or break your heart further if you just broke up. 10. Teri Meri Kahani Once again, Arijit Singh knows how to express and exactly what to sing. Oh, don't miss the strumming of the guitar in the background! 11. Tum Hi Ho This song has been on EVERY damn list in the country. You know you want to kiss someone under a blazer in the blazing rain, right? I know the practical scenario would be you stuck in a pot hole though. That doesn't deter this song from being in the list. 12. Tum Se Hi Mohit Chauhan, two lost lovers, what transcends you back to 2007 better than this beautiful rain number? 13. Woh Lamhe 'Wo bheegi bheegi yaadein' transfers us to the time when all of us were newly introduced to Atif's magic. 14. Ye Mausam Ki Barish This is the only entry that is less than a year old which makes me realise two things. Firstly, Bollywood needs more new, original songs. Secondly, Bollywood needs more 'barish' songs! 15. Ae Udi Udi You want to dance with someone on this song, even if it's in the shower, doesn't matter! 16. Jo Haal Dil Ka Aamir Khan and Sonali Bendre heat up the moment with this really hot rain number. 17. Mohabbat Barsa Dena Tum Yet again, like I mentioned before, Arijit knows it best! 18. Akhir Tumhe Aana Hai The last but definitely not the least on the list! Sanjay Dutt and Nagma know exactly how to do romance on a rainy night. Take cues, share cues. Hallo fraands! In case you're not able to find anyone, just make yourself a cup of chai, dip a packet of Parle-G biscuits and sing along to this list. Garam hai!
  21. If you really want to learn a thing or two about love, listen to John Mayer. His lyrics make you feel like rain on a hot sunny day and his voice makes it seem like it's dipped in honey and wine and everything else fine! Well, before I get carried away and start beckoning more lyrical creativity my way, let me tell you that sometimes you need to get a little creative and romantic, especially when you're trying to win over someone's heart. And there isn't a better way to do it than with music. I believe music paves its way through anything and everything remotely difficult and makes it go away completely. It also makes intangible thoughts more tangible and malleable. What I am trying to say, is that music is a great medium to express one's thoughts and ideas and works wonders if you're in love or just want to share how you're feeling, with someone. © Facebook And there's no one better to explain exactly what I am saying, than John Mayer, who understands what love is and shares it around like a big warm hug. So, if you're falling in love with someone or like someone, or just want to listen to some love songs, here are 15 of the best songs Mr. Mayer has ever written and sung. Share them away, so she knows how you feel about her. Because nothing says 'I love you' quite like a John Mayer song. (1) Gravity, Continuum ''Oh, I'll never know what makes this man, with all the love that his heart can stand, dream of ways to throw it all away" (2) City Love, Room For Squares "And I can't remember life before her name." 22. If rumours are to be believed, then our 'desi' girl is kinda all set to get engaged to her not-so rumoured beau, singer Nick Jonas. The two are currently vacationing in Goa with her family and as per reports, her mother has given her nod to their relationship. priyanka with her friends, family and fans in GOA. #priyankachopra #parineetichopra #nickjonas A post shared by Priyanka Chopra Fan Page ð â¤ï¸ (@pcourheartbeat) on Jun 25, 2018 at 8:11am PDT We decided to be 'enthu cutlets' in our own accord and here's a hypothetical playlist that can be played at their engagement and Nick should totally dance to them: 1. Desi Girl- The MOST obvious number on our list! 'Desi' girl with her 'pardesi' lover. BINGO! 2. Say Na Say Na- It's probably what they'd have said to each other when they began dating and were trying to find out what was in their respective hearts? 3. Lal Dupatta- Okay, cheesy alert here but it had to be on our list. Actually, it would be absolutely amazing to see Priyanka dance to it as Nick croons along. 4. Darling- Perfect song for the perfect occasion, right? 5. Anjaana Anjaani- This song absolutely suits their relationship, if you ask us. Two strangers met, fell in love. Voila! Everyone gets a happy ending. 6. Mujhse Shaadi Karogi- Probably this can play while they exchange their rings? 7. In My City – This is likely to be the only song on the list that Nick can understand, and also something that Priyanka is probably singing to him now that they are finally in her city? 8. Tuney Mari Entriyaan- We'd love to watch Nick dance to this song, as maybe that is exactly what happened to him in real life! I know, this is a bit too filmy, but what is life without some Bollywood masala thrown into it?
  23. There's a whole day dedicated to music and we couldn't be happier. I mean, who doesn't love music? It's what gives us the calmness we otherwise look for throughout our lives. Even if you're not a music freak and don't listen to much of it, I am sure there are times you've been stressed out and music actually calmed you down and made you feel a lot better? Everyone listens to a particular type of music. It could be because it reminds them of a particular time or because they love the way it makes them feel, or they just love how it's made. Whatever your genre is, it's a given fact, that it's a mood elevator like nothing else. Why am I talking about music so much? Well, it June 21 and the day is recognised all over the world as 'World Music Day' & we thought we could share a piece of your memory with you, to celebrate this day, as it's supposed to be celebrated. By memory, I obviously mean the 90s, where we all grew up surrounded by some popular tunes. Pop music from the 90s had just gathered momentum from the outside world and you could see the deliberate yet beautiful influences of the western world, in the way the music videos were made and the songs were sung. We still remember all of them and keep them alive, whenever we get together with friends or just need a 90s raincheck. So, to reminisce some more, we have a whole lotta songs from the 90s playlist we actually loved and cherished back in the day. Play them and go back in time. I certainly did, compiling this playlist for you! 1. O Sanam- Lucky Ali © YouTube Remember 'Samjhe zamana ke dil hai khilona....'? O Sanam, from Lucky Ali's album 'Sunoh', was a phenomenal hit and it was every love-struck person's anthem back in the day. It's still as popular when you're on your guitar, isn't it? 2. Maeri- Euphoria © YouTube Euphoria, a Delhi-based band was one of the biggest bands to go through the pop wave in the 90s. Although Maeri was released in the year 2000, it's still a favourite amongst many. The lyrics and the melody are just so soulful. Maeri also made Rimi Sen mighty popular back then. 3. Made In India - Alisha Chinai © YouTube Alisha's album, which came out in 1995, changed the face of Indian Pop music and it became a hit overnight! No kidding. The actual pop wave of the Indian music industry began right after this song was released. It also showed an entirely different way in which Indian women were looking at men, across the country, because of this song and the western influences it had in it. Also, do you remember Milind Soman in the video? He was the quintessential hunk, she was actually singing for and he was actually packaged and delivered to her in the video! Something, most women are still waiting for till date! 4. Pyaar Ke Pal- KK © YouTube KK was a popular playback artist who also released an album called 'Pal' back in 1999 and this one was a phenomenal hit. The song is so soulful, it actually makes us miss the special someone, even if you've never had one in your life! Also, not many people know this, but the video actually has Abhay Deol and his then-girlfriend portraying the role of two lovers. Look closely! 5. Tu- Sonu Nigam © YouTube Before Sonu Nigam was on his way to becoming a successful playback singer, he was also completely into the whole pop culture routine and was making songs such as 'ab mujhe raat din' (remember the Bipasha Basu starrer?) and of course 'Tu'. If you haven't aped his steps from this popular video, have you even lived the 90s, bro? 6. Dil Cheez- Bally Sagoo © YouTube The video starring Suchitra Pillai Malik was a hit back in the day, not just for its surreal and sensual play but because it was shot beautifully too. The song, however, is another league altogether. It's a woman telling a man, how she's going to surrender her heart and her life to him...ahhh the 90s! Wish we had more of Bally Sagoo though. 7. Dil Bole Boom Boom- Biddu © YouTube Biddu was an internationally acclaimed music producer originally from Bangalore but he moved to the UK later. He came back to India later to produce music and took the original Nazia Hassan song 'Boom Boom' from the 80s and made a superb remix in the 90s, which did fairly well. The video also has the gorgeous Anupama Verma. 8. Afreen- Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan © YouTube The original was written way back in 1996 by Javed Akhtar and composed by the legend- Khan Saheb himself. Remember Lisa Ray in the sexiest of 'banjara' clothes roaming the deserts of Rajasthan? The 2016 rendition of 'Afreen Afreen', which you would have heard, is by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Momina Mustehsan, for the Pakistani show 'Coke Studio' 9. Tanha Dil- Shaan © YouTube Shantanu Mukherjee, popularly known as Shaan, started his career by doing jingles for advertisements in the 90s till Biddu discovered him and gave him a chance to sing for the 'roop tera mastana' remix. Right after that, he released his first pop album which featured this beautiful song about love and life. 10. Dil Dhadke- Baba Sehgal © YouTube If we're doing a list for popular 90s tracks, how can we leave out Baba Sehgal?? He was the 'king' of rap back then and if you didn't dance to his tunes, you didn't live your 90s the way you should have buddy! Here's one of my favourites. So, here we have. Our favourite tunes from the almost forgotten era. Well, TBH the 90s can never be forgotten by the people who grew up in it! The most accessible necessity from the 90s is obviously the music, so play on, whenever you're on a nostalgic 90s trip.
  24. Whether you understand them partially or you don't understand them all, Punjabi tracks have made it all kinds of play lists. From weddings to birthdays, or even a long drive on a lazy Sunday evening with friends, we need to pump up the jam with some 'desi' beats right? Here are 6 relatively new numbers that can be added in your list before you set off for some 'car-o-bar' with buddies: 1. Yeah Baby- Garry Sandhu is back with a car banging track giving some tips on how to twirl as you dance. 2. Daru Band- The 'Gangland' singer Mankirt Aulakh is back with his new track which has been making fans go crazy since a week now. 3. Shada- Parmish Verma's track is around 2 months old since he is on a little hiatus from making music at the moment. Still, a god addition for Punjabi track lovers. 4. Expert Jatt- This is already around 4 months old but has climbed all trending charts by now. In case you haven't added it to your driving play list, this one won't disappoint! 5. Roti- Pav Dharia is a super talented artist and every fan is aware of that. He took a meme and made out a crazy, fun number out of it. Also, not to forget, the music is groovy , like all his songs. 6. Snapchat Story- Probably all boys are singing this post break up right now. If nothing else works for you, just pick your car and take yourself for a short drive with some peppy Punjabi music, even if you don't understand it.
