  1. After getting delayed several times, SS Rajamouli's RRR has finally hit the theatres today (March 25) amid huge buzz and expectations. Featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, the film tells a fictional story of two Telugu freedom fighters named Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Produced by D.V.V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments, it also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran among others in pivotal characters. View this post on Instagram The audience review is finally out as fans, who were eagerly waiting to watch RRR on the big screens, have been sharing their reactions on social media. Overall, the pan-India film has been receiving majorly positive feedback with netizens calling it a 'masterpiece' and 'spectacular visual extravaganza'. Both Jr NTR and Ram Charan are getting huge appreciation for their performances. After watching RRR, a social media user tweeted, "SPECTACULAR is the word! Visual extravaganza. Not just in Telugu, the film is expected to break several records in the Hindi market as well. Interestingly, the ticket pricing for RRR has been unimaginably high at multiplexes in different parts of the country. RRR also features Indiana Jones actor Alison Doody and MCU star Ray Stevenson. 2. On Day 3 of the third and final Test against South Africa in Cape Town, Rishabh Pant spearheaded India's drive, slamming his fourth ton in the lengthier version of the game. India set a tough 212-run goal for the hosts in the series finale, with the left-handed batsman scoring an unbeaten 100. Pant just needed 133 deliveries to achieve the triple-digit mark, thanks to a good strike rate. During his excellent performance, he also garnered a lot of admiration from people online for his heartfelt gesture. View this post on Instagram Pant lost control of his bat with the first delivery of Duanne Oliver's 60th over, as he tried to shift gears in pursuit of huge hits and lost control of his bat. Although the hitter was able to make contact and the ball travelled towards the square-leg region, his bat flew in the other direction. Pant quickly ran up to his bat and began petting it before placing a kiss on it shortly after. Fans reacted positively to Pant's generosity, with many taking to social media to express their gratitude. Have seen batsman throwing bat in anger... But look at @RishabhPant17 his bat slipped out of his hand playing a drive.. he picked it up n started kissing it, pampering as if a kid slipped... That's why He's my favourite player....#Pant #RishabhPant pic.twitter.com/3kCfpwXE2z — Shaheer-Erica Official Fan Page (@ShaRica__LOVER) January 13, 2022The way Pant respects his bat - it was good to see. pic.twitter.com/VdQ0Cfw0oO — Johns. Not even Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper could manage to put up over 29 runs, despite an impressive 79-run knock in the first inning that guided the Men in Blue’s total to 223 on Day 1. The Proteas managed to dismiss the entire Indian batting order to just 198 runs on Day 3 of 5 and even managed to score 101 runs for the loss of just two wickets. Ahead of Day 4, the hosts need just 111 runs to win the third match and the series, meanwhile India requires to dismiss 8 more wickets to book the series in their name. View this post on Instagram Although an extremely difficult task to complete, if by any miracle, the Indian bowlers do manage to dismiss all the South Africa batters before they chase down India’s total, it would be their very first Test series victory in the country ever since the two sides started playing red-ball cricket against each other since 1992. 4. If you were to tell me that the Hitman series would become one of my favourite stealth games of all time, I would not take you seriously. However, that’s exactly what IO interactive has managed to achieve with the third and final instalment of the modern Hitman series. I’ve been craving a Splinter Cell-like stealth game all of the last generation and Hitman 3 fulfilled my needs this time. Previous titles in the franchise were a bit goofy and lacked a compelling narrative that makes me care about the franchise. However, with Hitman 3, IO Interactive has managed to turn all of that around and delivered a Hitman game that also has a great storyline. © IO Interactive The Hitman series’ formula has not changed much from a decade ago, however the new games offer more freedom than ever before. Hitman 3 has a total of six missions and it's up to you how you want to go about them. Each mission starts with a briefing in the style of a Mission: Impossible movie and the first level even seems inspired by Ghost Protocol. While six missions may not sound like a great deal, each mission can be replayed to death with countless variables or styles of play. You can also play different levels in different modes to amp up the difficulty or completely change how a level can be played again. © IO Interactive To spice things up, IO Interactive have also included a level set in an old family mansion where you have to solve a murder mystery. You get to check out the secret passages and disguise yourself as a detective or sleuth. It is a big departure from Hitman’s traditional mechanics and how levels play out but we liked how it shakes up the traditional style of playing Hitman is known for. Every mission is different from each other and has been designed with painstaking detail, giving you the freedom to approach it in every manner possible. You can poison your target, go in guns blazing or come up with creative ways to eliminate your target. Much like thriller movies, the game takes you to different parts of the world with each mission. The first missions take place in a glamourous Dubai skyscraper while in another you might find yourself in a nightclub in Berlin. Each level offers something new that makes you want to replay missions and approach them differently each time. Each mission offers a different level of immersion that I truly did not expect from a Hitman game. IO Interactive has managed to craft levels that will be remembered until the franchise makes a return. © IO Interactive As we mentioned before, Hitman 3 is a huge departure from previous games where it tones down the goofiness and takes itself seriously. There’s an overarching story here which takes the game back to its roots instead of being a sandbox game. The story is quite intriguing and very much in line with spy movies you may have seen in the past decade. The plot of the game is mostly enjoyable, but some of the conspiracy tropes were quite predictable. Nevertheless, it still is a great story to experience in the end as it ends Agent 47’s story on a high note. © IO Interactive When it comes to the game mechanics, Hitman 3 has not expanded much, probably because there was nothing left to fix. The “don't fix it if it ain't broke” idiom is perfectly applicable here as every mechanic from the starting of the franchise is at your disposal here. While I would have liked to see some new gadgets thrown into the mix, we only get a smart camera that aids in achieving objectives, surveying your surroundings and solving puzzles. The new gadget doesn’t reinvent the wheel in any way or form, however it is a welcome addition to your arsenal. Apart from the new gadget addition, Hitman 3 is still very much a stealth game where you have to focus on sneaking past people, change disguises if suspected and hide bodies in closets like the previous game. It’s very much a sequel to Hitman 2 in terms of gameplay but this time around there is focus on the story as well. While the formula largely remains the same, you will experience some twists and unexpected moments that show us what future Hitman games can become. The Final VerdictHitman 3 is probably the best game in the new trilogy that puts more focus on the story while keeping the gameplay mechanics true to its roots. From exhilarating levels to beautiful graphics and a compelling story, Hitman 3 is the perfect send-off any franchise could get. View the full article
  5. In what will undeniably go down as one of the best matches of 2021, India pulled off a herculean task to eke out a remarkable draw against Australia in the 3rd Test. Overcoming all odds, the visiting side showed great resilience to keep a certain defeat and the rampant Australian bowling attack at bay at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). With 97 overs to survive on the final day and eight wickets in hand, India, who had a bruised and battered batting line-up sans their original captain and best batsman, produced one of the most dramatic displays of patient batting and exemplary fighting spirit to pull off a draw that no one saw coming. 6. Cyberpunk 2077 was hyped up to be not only the game of the year but possibly the game of this decade as well. While I did try to seep myself separate from the hype associated with this game, I won’t shy away from saying Cyberpunk 2077 has far exceeded my expectations. In many ways, Cyberpunk 2077 feels like a genre-defining game that will be remembered by fans for a very long time. I’ve played about 22 hours as I’ve been messing around in the Night City doing side missions, gigs, and soaking in the glistening neon-filled world. This is a massive game and there was no way I could have finished Cyberpunk 2077 in time for the global embargo. However, that does not mean we cannot talk about the game and what we think so far. Do keep in mind everything we talk about below is spoiler-free and only talks about my initial impressions of the game based on over 20 hours of in-game time. © CDProjekt Red_MesXP In our 22 hours of gameplay time, the story so far has been quite action-packed and filled with emotions. The opening sequence of the game is fairly long, filled with tutorials and basic introductions to the complex RPG mechanics. You will learn the ropes gradually until the very end of the first act of the game. The main title screen does not even appear at least five hours into the main campaign. I chose to play the ‘Street Kid’ life path for my first playthrough as I wanted to experience ‘Night City’ from the get-go and trust me when I see say this - it was a sight to behold. So far, the story has been exceptional and I haven’t come across even one boring moment. Most of the game’s presentation is very cinematic where the gameplay flawlessly switches from gameplay to set pieces without you even realising it. © CDProjekt Red_MesXP I’m not going to be talking much about the story as yet, however I will say that every decision you make matters. Your decisions are the most important aspect in the context of the overall story and you shouldn’t take it lightly. Some choices will come from conversations while others might just surprise you. CD Projekt Red has masterfully implemented consequences and gains that might creep up at the most unexpected moment. Due to a plethora of choices available and its first-person nature, the game truly makes the experience feel like a personal journey. I haven’t come across a game like this in a long time that sets a new benchmark for immersion. © CDProjekt Red_MesXP Speaking of immersion, the world crafted by CD Projekt Red is by far the most detailed environment we’ve ever seen in a game. The futuristic metropolis looks and feels and sounds like a melange of Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong, although with a futuristic vibe. The world is populated just like you would expect from a dense city like Tokyo, filled with NPCs who are strolling the streets of Night City and going about their day. There will be times you will be visiting markets that genuinely feel overcrowded and you may have to trade through a hoard of NPCs to get to your destination. Night City truly feels like a lived-in city with beautiful skylines and city centres that can give real-world cities a run for their money. Even most of the character models of NPCs look extremely detailed, realistic and at par with what we’ve seen in previews. © CDProjekt Red_MesXP The case remains the same while driving vehicles as you will often find yourself stuck in a traffic jam or drive through narrow streets much like in real life. Each car feels and handles differently which is along the lines of GTA V albeit slightly better. You can hijack cars as well, however it works a bit differently than GTA V. You can only hijack cars depending on how many points you’ve invested in your ‘Strength’ attribute, which makes you want to improve your character further if you want the ability to hijack better cars. © CDProjekt Red_MesXP Now let’s talk about the combat system as it is by far, the most important aspect of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 is mostly a first-person shooter, reminiscent of games like The Outer Worlds and the Fallout series. Having said that, the combat mechanic feels a lot more polished and smooth as compared to the aforementioned games. Even melee combat feels more comprehensive than anything we’ve experienced before. We’ve seen rumours online about Cyberpunk 2077’s enemy AI where it puts the intelligence of NPCs into question. In my experience, on normal difficulty, there were times I got picked off by enemies in a single shot because I chose to approach some missions head first. Enemies in this game can be unforgiving and taking a more cautious approach is recommended. Being a CD Projekt Red game, Cyberpunk 2077 is filled with complex RPG systems that you get to play around with as soon as you start the game. You will end up collecting different types of mods to enhance your weapons or buy and install cybernetic mods from a local ‘ripperdoc’. We will talk more in detail about the RPG mechanics and how these systems play a role in character progression as a part of our full review soon. © CDProjekt Red_MesXP Since I have not finished the game yet, I am not going to give a final verdict as of now and instead just gave an overview of the game’s performance so far. In my 22 hour playthrough, I have not come across any major bugs or performance issues until now with exception of one hard crash. It is important to let you know that I have been playing the ‘pre-release’ build of the game and there will be stability improvements as a part of the day-one patch. © CDProjekt Red_MesXP I am currently playing the PC version of the game on my RTX 2080Ti GPU and will be switching to the RTX 3090 for the rest of the game. In my experience, the game runs flawlessly at 60 frames per second with the high ray-tracing mode turned on at 1440p resolution. After uncapping the frame rates, Cyberpunk 2077 was running around 135-140 FPS with RTX turned on and will test the game in 4K resolution on the RTX 3090 for our review. I have not tested the game on any of the consoles as of yet but will be running it on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 4 as soon as I get my hands on the physical copies on launch day. Conclusion © CDProjekt Red_MesXP Cyberpunk 2077 has already set a new standard for open-world role-playing games and immersion in my opinion. It is the most detailed world I’ve ever come across that gives GTA V a run for its money and may have just set a template for future games to come. If you were to ask me my current score, I would give it a 9/10, keeping one point in reserve in case I come across any game-breaking bug or because of an unsatisfactory ending. View the full article

  8. Open-world games are not only exclusive to PCs and consoles as there are plenty of games available to play on Android devices as well. If you’ve got a phone and a bluetooth gamepad, you can get the same experience in the palm of your hands. You don’t really need a gamepad but using one will surely result in a better experience. If you’ve been looking for the best open-world games on Android, check out our list below: 1. Stardew Valley © PlayStore If you are looking for a full farming simulator experience that has an explorable world and RPG elements, Stardew Valley is a great game to consider. In this game you can plant crops, vegetables, and even get married to another NPC if you want. There’s an entire town where you can befriend people and develop relationships with them. You can explore caves for precious minerals that you can later use to upgrade your tools. This game has everything and we highly recommend playing Stardew Valley if you want to kill some time. 2. Minecraft © Mojang The highest selling game in the world is also available to play on Android phones where you can explore an infinite world and build structures like simple homes or extravagant mansions. You can either use the creative mode to get your ideas flowing or play in survival mode where you have to avoid zombies and collect minerals from caves. Stardew Valley has definitely taken some inspiration from this game as it also has farming elements, but on a much more advanced level. You can even play with friends on other devices such as Windows 10 and iOS. 3. Portal Knights © PlayStore This 3D sandbox RPG has everything you would expect from an open-world game. Level up your character and create powerful weapons that you can use to defeat your enemies in real-time action combat. It’s a mix of Zelda and Skyrim but presented in a very cartoonish fashion. Explore dozens of randomly-generated islands and restore peace to a world torn apart by The Fracture. 4. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath © PlayStore This game already looks like it belongs on consoles and PCs and is by far one of the better looking games on this list. In the undeveloped wastelands of Western Mudos, several settlements are besieged by outlaws. You play as the ‘Stranger’ a bounty-hunter who has a double-barreled critter-firing crossbow. This game is highly recommended by serious Android gamers who want to play a full open-world game on their phones. The game does have intuitive touch controls, but we recommend playing this one with a gamepad. 5. GTA San Andreas © YouTube Who could have thought you can play GTA: San Andreas on your phone right? You play as Carl Johnson who is deeply involved with gangs, drugs and corruption. Set in the 1990s, Carl goes back home to find his mother has been murdered. After his return, corrupt cops try to frame him for the murder of his mother. He is then forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets. View the full article

Englandâs, and perhaps the world's, favourite football star known for âbending itâ like none other and being a treat to the eyes both on and off the field, David Beckham is truly an invaluable global asset. And being that invaluable means he showers in valuables all the time! With a net worth of approximately $450 million, Beckham is indeed one the richest public figures in the world. © Twitter AdSupermarket Now with all that money, a lot is bound to just idly lay around so it makes sense that the rich invest so much of their money in real estate. 10. While revamping utility and public structures has been the need of the hour, the New Delhi Railway Station can't be left untouched for long. Just a month ago, Mathura Railway Station got an absolutely new look and now it's time for Delhi to literally shine. The station was given an artsy feel, rich in culture and heritage and now every time we're catching a train from there, we'd be afraid to miss it, because it's done up quite elaborately and beautifully. The station building looks quite vibrant with some colourful patterns strewn across, with wall art and geometrical designs all over the ceilings. It really looks like we're amidst a colourful little cultural village. The station has also upgraded its public facilities like LED lights, escalators and LCD displays, all over. © Twitter The station will be equipped with solar panels for deriving energy from them and it'll be kept clean throughout. Well, Delhi isn't the only station that has been revamped. Apart from Mathura, there is also Haridwar, Jaipur and Lonavla. They've all been beatified and upgraded just as Delhi and Mathura. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted about the development of the station: बदलता भारत, बदलतॠरà¥à¤²à¤µà¥à¤ सà¥à¤µà¤¿à¤§à¤¾à¤¯à¥à¤, सà¥à¤µà¤à¥à¤à¤¤à¤¾ à¤à¤° सà¥à¤à¤¦à¤°à¥à¤¯ सॠभरा नठदिलà¥à¤²à¥ रà¥à¤²à¤µà¥ सà¥à¤à¥à¤¶à¤¨ à¤à¤¾ नया à¤à¤à¤°à¥à¤·à¤ रà¥à¤ª यातà¥à¤°à¤¿à¤¯à¥à¤ à¤à¥ à¤à¤ विशà¥à¤µà¤¸à¥à¤¤à¤°à¥à¤¯ रà¥à¤²à¤µà¥ सà¥à¤à¥à¤¶à¤¨ à¤à¤¾ à¤à¤¹à¤¸à¤¾à¤¸ à¤à¤°à¤¾ रहा हà¥à¥¤ pic.twitter.com/rUiirbwjDj — Piyush Goyal (@PiyushGoyal) 14 March 2019 The new look of the Railway station went down pretty well with most people and they took to Twitter to praise the efforts made by the Ministry of Railways and the Indian Railway Station Development Corporation. Simultaneously with that, they will also have a beatification drive alongside, which will entail paintings and art along the premises of the station. We're glad the Indian Railways are making an effort to revamp old stations and after airports, this was pretty much the need of the hour.

But how many times have we stopped to wonder about the many life-threatening challenges and attacks these superheroes have to survive on a daily basis, so we get to party until 4 in the morning or get a good night of sleep? © Arjun Menon But somebody thought about it. And decided to bring the unseen side of their story for the masses to behold. Travel photographer Arjun Menon is the man behind the spectacular show of these heroes in their natural surroundings, doing what they do best. © Arjun Menon Arjun had the chance to document how a day in the life of these superheroes looks like, and he spent weeks tailing them across the changing geographies of the land. The end result was 'The Extraordinary' photo-series and the pictures are for all of us to see and marvel over. The Backstory This is a daunting task to accomplish and we wonder what how Arjun got around to accomplishing it. If you ask this question to Arjun he would tell you that 'The Extraordinary' was his personal passion project. Before you wonder why, it's because Arjun himself comes from an Army background. © Arjun Menon Arjun's father was a pilot with the Indian Army Aviation, and ever since he was a kid, Arjun took pride in the fact that his father could fly a heavy, mean machine high up in the skies, performing combat training or helping out paratroopers jump off his helicopter, besides many other things. Arjun lost his father to a helicopter crash 16 years ago, and ever since he had wished to bring the trials and tribulations of the Indian Army to the fore, through the only means he knew - photography. © Arjun Menon The Extraordinary Project Once Arjun decided what exactly he wanted to achieve through this project, he set his plans into motion. For Arjun, the aim of this project was to explore and throw light on the extraordinary feats these men and women accomplish throughout their tenure, without yearning for credit or appreciation. © Arjun Menon The Final Journey Arjun set out to bring his dreams to fruition and sought chances to observe and document the army soldiers in action - practising or in pseudo combats. But initially, the Indian Army wasn't too sure about giving in to Arjun's demands of being sent to secret bases to click the photographs. It took multiple visits to Delhi and some convincing before they believed that Arjun's motivations were right. © Arjun Menon Next? Arjun got to travel to different confidential bases across India to document it all. Arjun shot in some very difficult locations, and the soldiers completely cooperated with Arjun to bring each of his visions to life. The Takeaway Having spent so much personal time with the soldiers, clicking the photographs and observing their workday up close, Arjun released how incredible each of them are. From temperatures ranging between -18 degrees to 48 degree Celsius, and in topographies that would make an ordinary person give up within minutes, these superheroes continue to perform their duty without a word of complaint. © Arjun Menon A lot of hardwork and love has gone into this project, and all Arjun wishes to accomplish through this photo series is to inspire the youth of this nation to consider the Indian Army as a career option. That he says, would be his “mission accomplished”.
  12. As the final whistle blew in Volgograd, the England fans breathed a sigh of relief as they picked up their first victory at a World Cup since 2010. Fans rejoiced in the streets of London and why not? They had just witnessed England win at a World Cup for the first time in 8 years with a genuinely praiseworthy performance. © Reuters Although England fans had to wait until the 91st minute of the match before roaring, it was their captain Harry Kane they really rooted for as he led from the front and headed in the winner. In a team devoid of “superstars”, Harry Kane, owned the show against Tunisia and showed exactly why he's one of the best strikers in the world right now. Kane – The Predator Having scored 30 goals in the Premier League in the season gone by, Harry Kane serves as the only real goal scoring outlet that England can consistently rely on. As pundits decipher the various facets of his game, it was his biggest quality on display against Tunisia, his tenacity. On a day when England's finishing was extremely woeful and his hold up play, surprisingly suspect, he realized that set plays served as his best chance to score on the day. © Reuters What followed was the perfect execution of training ground set pieces. Kane wasn't the first to react on both the corners that resulted in goals, but his predatory instincts meant that he found himself unmarked when the ball eventually fell to his feet. Such game intelligence was previously credited to Thomas Muller who desperately fell short against Mexico. © Reuters Neither did Gabriel Jesus or Kylian Mbappe do enough in their first matches. However, Kane's display against Tunisia proved that great strikers don't necessarily need to have the best of games. Rather, it is their penchant to draw goals from unlikely situations which puts them among the best. Combine Kane's tenacity with his finishing, passing and physical abilities and we have a textbook striker who will prove to be one of the best for many years to come. Kane – The Leader While the technical aspects of Kane's game are undoubtedly brilliant, it is something far more intangible that is likely to make him a footballing immortal. His passion and desire to lead a team and see them through really sets him apart. © Reuters His discipline and regimen with his club have regularly been lauded and it is that level of dedication and focus that he brings to this team. And the result was there to witness. The entire team rallied behind their captain and pounced on him as England broke the deadlock. Subsequently, the vanity of such a moment did not consume him as he caught the game by the scruff of the neck and scored the winner just when his team needed him most. In the days preceding the game, Kane arrogantly proclaimed that he wished to emulate Ronaldo's hat-trick in his first game. Given how unforgiving the media has been to him this season, it seemed like a reckless statement to make. However, he scored a brace, and came very close to achieving that feat which in itself is a massive statement of intent. With such a high performance benchmark, expectations from Kane are very high, but with such talent and self-belief, few doubt that he could emerge as one of the stars of this World Cup.

  15. What if humans could actually be shrunk down to the size of ants? Our increasingly crowded planet would be so much more for us then. Nothing could be a better solution to the problem of space and resources. ‘Downsizing' is a science fiction comedy-drama and the trailer will leave you feeling irrationally happy about the future! © Paramount Pictures Starring Matt Damon and directed by Alexander Payne, ‘Downsizing' is a possible attempt at saving the earth by shrinking its inhabitants. Of course, it has its challenges. The shrinking process is irreversible; you cannot go back to the normal human size. © Paramount Pictures Matt Damon and Kristen Wiig play a couple toying with the idea of taking the plunge and lessening the burden of the planet. There are the perks, of course – the miniature world has resources in plenty. You live life king-size. © Paramount Pictures There are a lot of questions that are cropping up though: how will the downsized humans contribute to the society? There is still a huge chunk of population at its normal size. The only service the little humans could provide to the world (until they have shrunk the whole world) is intellectual and digital. Doctors, scientists, accountants, writers, policy makers - only those whose work is not dependent on physical size can probably be converted without becoming a liability. Or like in all science fiction movies with a Noah's Ark solution – pay a fortune to go to the other side. Would you choose to be downsized to 5 inches to live a life with unlimited resources? Tell us in the comments section below.
