  3. A waiter tripped and now, we're tripping over the fact that he didn't drop anything after tripping. This could honestly be a tongue-twister. But seriously, this might be the most impressive thing I've ever seen, or among my top five at least. Just tripping and falling is something every clumsy person can relate to, but not destroying anything is something no one can. Maybe, only superheroes, since the incident is quite similar to that one iconic Spider-Man scene. Now, look at our guy. Just flawless. Big Spider-Man energy. The superhero in question is 24-year-old Jamie Shoebridge, who slipped on some peppercorn sauce and fell to the floor, taking down a decorative plant in the process. But, his balance was so impeccable he managed to drop not even a single thing. All the four plates were completely okay. Talking about the incident, he said, "One minute I was walking along with the plates and the next minute I was on the floor. I lost my footing and fell down face first. There was some peppercorn sauce on the floor and I slipped on it. Itâs all a blur and Iâm not sure how it happened. It was just an instinct to lift my arms up and try to save the plates. I just got back up and carried on as normal." © YouTube He basically pulled off something almost impossible and then carried on like nothing happened. What a cool thing to do! He went on to add, "I have no idea how none of the plates got smashed. Iâm impressed with myself. It didnât hurt but I was very confused as to how it happened. We all had a laugh about it in the office. It has become a bit of a running joke at work now." I feel bad for all the people who work there now, tbh. Imagine dropping something after this incident and being reminded of Jamie's superhero act. No one can mess up now, it would be so embarrassing. View the full article

There's so many characters we can't imagine without that one certain actor, and right now we can't imagine the role of Spider-Man without thinking of Tom Holland. And, Tom himself is very grateful for the role of Spider-Man for changing his life for the better forever and paid a touching tribute to Steve Ditko. 7. Unless you were too busy checking and tagging your friends in memes, you must have watched this video that made its way into our social media feeds over the weekend. The video we are talking about is of a man, who climbed up five floors without any support in less than 30 seconds, to save a child dangling from a balcony in Paris. BCCL While, the onlookers were busy filming the thrilling development, 22-year-old Mamoudou Gassama didn't think twice before risking his life and immediately scaled the building. Nicknamed as Spider-Man, Gassama is now the internet's hero and he totally deserves all the praise and love he is getting from across the world. ð Undocumented migrant from Mali, Mamoudou Gassama, risked his life and his future in France to rescue a child he did not know. French president Macron, just offered himthe French citizenship and a job with the fire brigade. pic.twitter.com/KUVbB7kAOy — Xavi Ruiz ð (@xruiztru) May 28, 2018 His quick thinking, bravery and impressive speed soon came to the notice of French President Emmanuel Macron, who then invited him to the Elysee Palace and awarded him with a medal for bravery. Gassama has also been awarded with a French citizenship and a job in the fire department. Macron mentioned in his tweet, that the Paris fire brigade would be keen to welcome him. May 28, 2018 Gassama is an immigrant from Mali, who came to Italy in 2014 after staying in Libya for more than a year, where he was arrested and beaten up. While talking about this unbelievable and heroic incident, Gassama said “I felt afraid when I saved the child…(when) we went into the living room, I started to shake, I could hardly stand up, I had to sit down.” Reportedly, the supposed 4-year-old child was home alone when this incident happened. Gassama heard people shouting and then he saw the child hanging from the balcony. He ran immediately and crossed the street to save the child. He further told Macron, “When I started to climb, it gave me courage to keep climbing.” Twitter President Macron told Gassama, “You saved a child. Without you, no one knows what would have become of him. You need courage and the capability to do that.” He further added, “You have become an example because millions have seen you.” We need more people like Gassama, who don't think twice before taking such drastic steps to help save someone. We also hope it's a lesson for those who stood there conveniently doing nothing but filming the whole thing.
  8. Disclaimer: I will try not to give away obvious spoilers in the story, but subtle hints will be there. So, if you have still haven't watched the movie, IT'S YOUR FAULT. Go and watch it right now. Since the past few days the entire world has been talking about 'Avengers: Infinity War' and so are we. After all, this is one movie we have been desperately waiting for over a decade now. And when it was finally released, our excitement knew no bounds and this movie completely lived up to the hype it created before its release. Marvel Studios The 'Avengers: Infinity War' has primarily given us two things – first, lots of superheroes…and their deaths; second, tons of hilarious memes that will leave you in splits. And the recent set of memes to join the bandwagon is this. Marvel Studios Fans were almost on the verge of having a meltdown when half of the MCU was wiped out by Thanos and it was hands down one of the most heartbreaking scenes, especially the one where Peter Parker aka Spider Man fades into dust right before his mentor Tony Stark. And for all those who don't know this, Tom Holland completely improved the line that left many people teary-eyed. Marvel Studios Now, the fans have found the ultimate therapeutic trick to overcome this grief – turn the scene into a meme. And the trick seems to be working, as the internet is now flooded with memes of things and people slowly vanishing into thin air. 9. A plastic version of comic-book superhero Wonder Woman?s sword and a Spider-Man drone showed up as villains on a US child safety advocacy group?s annual list of potentially hazardous toys. The group, World Against Toys Causing Harm, released its ?10 Worst Toys? list on Tuesday, around the start of the holiday shopping season, with the goal of alerting parents to playthings that could hurt their children. Besides the sword, which the group warned could cause ?blunt-force injuries,? and the drone?s ?potential for eye and body impact injuries,? the list includes toys that could appeal to smaller children and contain removable pieces considered a possible choking hazard. Flying toys, including the drone, and those that shoot projectiles, including toy Nerf guns, have long appeared on the list. While the products? boxes contain extensive warnings about the dangers of flying items, the group?s executive director, James Swartz, said children could not use them in a safe way. ?Really, look at the packaging,? Swartz said. ?Is it realistic to use the product as the manufacturer intends? If the answer is no, it?s better to stay away from it.? The list also includes several less-obvious threats. Among them: fidget spinners that can break apart, posing a choking hazard; a pull-along pony with a 19 inch (48 cm) cord the group said a small child could strangle on; and a baby doll with removable hair elastics labelled a choking hazard. Makers of the toys included on the list, including Mattel Inc, which makes the sword; Skyrocket Toys LLC, the drone manufacturer; and Nerf maker Hasbro Inc, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The Toy Association views the list as ?needlessly frightening,? said Joan Lawrence, the trade group?s senior vice president of safety standards and regulatory affairs. ?We have strong safety standards in this country,? Lawrence said, adding that parents should follow the package?s directions about the age group for which a plaything is suitable. The association released a survey this month showing 82 percent of parents think the age ranges are merely suggestions. Lawrence urged parents to take them more seriously. ?If you?re going to buy a bicycle ... there are instructions on how to safely use the bicycle, like wearing a helmet,? Lawrence said. ?We don?t say, ?Don?t buy the bicycle.? What we do is find ways to enjoy it safely.?
  10. Photo: courtesy Spider-Man:Homecoming While the fans are eagerly waiting for upcoming Marvel venture, Spider-Man: Homecoming, the movie actors are leaving no stones unturned to promote the movie. Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker/Spider Man, shared the details of his awkward first meeting with Marvel Cinematic Universe?s Iron Man Robert Downey Jr, who plays his onscreen mentor in the new movie. ?I got very nervous about meeting Robert Downey Jr as I have been a fan of his my entire life,? Holland said on The Graham Norton Show. Spiderman: Homecoming?s second trailer reveals a bit too much Geo.tv shares what stood out the most for us in the second trailer ?When I met him I was thinking, ?You look different in person, something isn?t quite the same,?? Holland added. ?And then Robert walked in and I realised I had been chatting to his stunt double!? MCU?s reprised version of the Spider Man will release across the globe on July 7.
  11. When Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) decided to make Spider-Man part of their world, people just couldn’t stop talking about it. It came as a surprise to many when Marvel announced that Tom Holland was replacing Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. Fans wondered if Tom could do justice with the character that is loved by millions. And finally, we got a glimpse of Marvel’s Spiderman in 'Captain America: Civil War'. People loved the film and couldn’t stop raving about MCU’s way of representing Spider-Man. Tom going head to head with major Superheroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye and more was a treat to watch. In fact, critics applauded Tom for his acting skills and style. © YouTube And now after Captain America, Tom is all set to entertain us in his film 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'. Joining him is Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) as the 'Coolest Mentor Ever'. Few seconds into the clip, we see Tony saying, “I think with a little bit more mentoring, you'll be a real asset to the team.” © YouTube Robert shares how Tony in the film is looking for Peter Parker. "Tony is keeping a real close eye on him and making sure that he is a worthy recruit for the Avengers. He's quite gifted and a very talented guy. Peter Parker is constantly learning throughout the movie and he is trying to prove himself to Tony that he is ready to be an Avenger. He is old enough to take on bigger tasks. I saw that relationship like a big brother relationship,” shares Tom. Well, no doubt Iron Man is the best mentor one can get. Wondering what is Iron Man’s advice for Spider-Man? Well being his best he says, "Don't do anything, I would do. And definitely, don't do anything I wouldn't do. There's a little grey area in there and that's where you operate." Looking at the clip, we just can't wait to see Iron Man and Spider-Man together. The film 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' is set to release on July 7.
  12. Sony unveiled a new Spider-man game for its Playstation video console on Monday. Photo: Sony LOS ANGELES: Sony unveiled a new Spider-man game for its Playstation video console at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles on Monday. Spider-man, due for release in 2018, is being developed by Insomniac Games, the group behind PlayStation offerings such as Resistance and Ratchet & Clank. "The future is here and it´s now with PlayStation 4 Pro and PS VR," said Shawn Layden, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America, unveiling the Spider-man game. Virtual reality (VR) is fast becoming the new battleground in the gaming world with developers seeking to win over fans with immersive headsets and accessories. Sony Corp said last week it had sold more than one million units of its virtual reality headset globally, and was boosting production. Sony also announced at E3 that the cult game Shadow of the Colossus will get a high-definition remake for PlayStation 4. This game and the next God of War edition are set to be released next year.
  13. Last year when Sony revealed a new 'Spider-Man' game, we all lost our shit and it was no different this year. At E3, Sony revealed the first gameplay trailer and we cannot get enough of how it looks more like a cinematic movie than a video game. Even some of our readers had the same idea: The trailer shows Spidey fighting with a few enemies at a construction site and how he jumps around the building in a very stealthy manner to take out enemies. He uses his webs effectively which got us jumping out of our seats. Combined with acrobatic moves and that addictive combat system, we can confidently say that Spider-Man is finally represented well in video game form when compared to the comic book counterpart. The entire sequence had many cinematic moments which left us in a state of awe and of course, these cinematic sequences were also interactive thanks to a quick-time event. Having said that, the highlight of the trailer was seeing Spider-Man chase a helicopter across the city of New York as he avoided buildings and obstacles on his way. © Sony The trailer ended with onlookers taking pictures of Spider-Man after he got done doing his business. We also got to know that Miles Morales, a young African American boy will be the new Spider-Man which is the case in an alternate universe of Marvel’s Ultimate Universe. © Sony Spider-Man will be the latest iteration in video game form and Insomniac has done a wonderful job of keeping the details true to the character and made a very comprehensive open-world version of New York City. The game is expected to release sometime in 2018 as no concrete date has been announced yet. You can watch the full trailer below and share your views with us about the upcoming game.
