  1. As the clock ticks closer to the 8th of February, all eyes are on the capital for a variety of reasons. After becoming the epicentre of India's current nationwide protests, another massively important political phenomenon looms heavy on the horizon - Delhi's Legislative Assembly Elections. And like any good election bout, the finger-pointing started well in advance. It all began when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) put out this tongue-in-cheek tweet - and surprised us all by referencing one of India's favourite 90's films, Baazigar. All the best Sir @ManojTiwariMP pic.twitter.com/C9oTfInf7u — AAP (@AamAadmiParty) January 12, 2020 For context, the scene implies AAP Chief Kejriwal (Shah Rukh Khan) setting his sights on Delhi's MLA Seats (Kajol) - while BJP Delhi Leader Manoj Tiwari (Siddhart Ray) looks on from the sidelines. Note that they didn't even mention the Indian National Congress. The BJP Twitter account wasn't going to take such an insult lightly, however - and unfortunately for AAP, they seemed to be pretty serious SRK fans themselves. In Baazigar, Khan plays the role of a man hell-bent on revenge regardless of the cost - going so far as to cheat, murder and die in the process, and the BJP wasn't going down without reminding everyone about the film's, uh… chronology. Whoever is handling this account is writing Arvind Kejriwal's political obituary. SRK was a manipulative villain in the movie who was plotting against Kajol & her family. He killed Kajol's sister. And, in the end, he got killed for his sins. Same fate awaits Kejriwal in Delhi! https://t.co/Bv2mTHBD2N — BJP Delhi (@BJP4Delhi) January 12, 2020 Last (and probably the least), the Delhi Congress showed up late to the party. Dear @AamAadmiParty & @BJP4India, As you can see in the picture, Kajol (Delhi) doesn't seem interested in either of you and is actually looking towards Congress! We assure you that we will rescue Delhi from both of you. https://t.co/PTxzvNg40L — Delhi Congress (@INCDelhi) January 13, 2020 Jokes aside, it's strange how a meme war over Twitter can hold parallels to a real-life election. Thousands of users chimed in with their own tweets, making light of the situation and supporting whichever side they wanted: If we go by your meme, this is going to happen in the end : pic.twitter.com/pRYMn1ryxR — THE SKIN DOCTOR (@theskindoctor13) January 12, 2020 Others considered the memes unnecessary. Stop unnecessary thing. Use time for sharing positing thing rather than trolling. This is official handle of AAP. Keep some respect. Dont behave like BJP ideology. We are not BJP. We have values. — Think Wisely (@ThinkWisely5) January 12, 2020 It's definitely a strange time for Indian politics, that's to be sure. After a well-publicised #MeToo scandal, event management company OML's CEO Vijay Nair has played a hand in working with the AAP's digital media strategies - perhaps this 'millennial' angle owes itself to his influence within the organisation. A recent video further makes that target demographic even more clear with a 'Super-Mario' themed promotional animation. SUPER KEJRIWAL pic.twitter.com/PDZoUYxd6s — AAP (@AamAadmiParty) January 13, 2020 We can only expect more of this in the coming weeks. View the full article
  2. Even though Shah Rukh Khan has been in the industry for more than two decades now, his fashion game still remains indubitable. His style has evolved over time and has gotten only better. We swooned over his uber-cool way to accessorise back then and now, and his appearances in classic suits or relaxed outfits are unmissable. © viralbhayani Recently, he was spotted in a subdued and a casual avatar. His airport game looked like it has evolved by miles as he was seen wearing ill-fitted jeans that are extremely baggy. A leap that was least expected from SRK happened and we couldn't stop digging his look. © viralbhayani Speaking of extra-long or extra baggy pants, even Ranveer was wearing them. We loved how he was seen making a statement in such ill-fitted jeans and still looked dapper doing so. On the other hand, when the 'Badshah Of Bollywood' styled his baggy pants, we must say, he did it better than Ranveer could. Looks like someone else is ready to take the throne. © viralbhayani © viralbhayani It's not just Ranveer or SRK who have delved into it but even Tiger Shroff was seen turning heads in such dope pants. The unaltered style is definitely the right way to look relaxed and stylish. As for SRK's overall airport ensemble, he wore a plaid bomber jacket with patchwork baggy pants. If this is not experimental, we don't know what is. Must say, SRK is truly ageing in reverse when it comes to his sartorial sensibilities. View the full article
  3. It's not everyday that you meet your idol and they end up recognising you and your talent. Rajkummar Rao's is one underdog story which is now an inspiration to millions of young talented individuals who are trying to make it to the big screen, struggling every day in the 'city of dreams' and maybe even trying to catch a glimpse of King Khan outside Mannat. Not long ago, Rajkummar, a self-proclaimed SRK fan himself, was doing the same. The actor worked his way up until his talent spoke for him. View this post on Instagram Filmy Ganon ke Rang, RaghuRukmini ke sang. #MadeInChina #IndiaKaJugaad @imouniroy A post shared by RajKummar Rao (@rajkummar_rao) on Oct 18, 2019 at 9:54am PDT He has often posted about his love for Shah Rukh Khan, impersonated him many times and even danced to his songs. So it was only natural for him to be bewildered and in awe of him when SRK recently bumped into him and funnily said 'Vicky Pleej' to Rajkummar. In case you're not aware, it is a famous dialogue from Rajkummar's movie Stree and went viral when the movie was released. View this post on Instagram Since childhood I've been saying his dialogues. What a wonderful feeling when he decides to say my dialogue this time. There's is no one like you @iamsrk sir. You've inspired me to become an actor. Biggest fan ever. â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ #Stree A post shared by RajKummar Rao (@rajkummar_rao) on Nov 9, 2019 at 8:41pm PST The funny chemistry between these two 'Raj' has got all their fans hooting to see them work together in a film now. Super amazing video, Rajkummar. You guys should get together for a movie. I even have a story! — Kulpreet Yadav (@Kulpreetyadav) November 10, 2019 While SRK is on a sabbatical from working in movies and was recently seen on David Letterman's show as his guest, Rajkummar is currently soaring high on the success of Made In China which was recently released. 4. There isn't a doubt that Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most loved celebrities in India and also, across the globe. The Badshah of Bollywood's birthday was celebrated all across the globe. Burj Khalifa was also lit up with a special message for Shah Rukh on his birthday yesterday. Meanwhile, the whole Bollywood wished SRK for his special day, from Karan Johar to Ayushmann Khurrana, Madhuri Dixit, Kartik Aaryan, Bomana Irani and many others. However, here's how SRK's neighbour and a colleague took to Instagram to share a warm birthday wish for Shah Rukh Khan in the cutest possible way. Have a look- View this post on Instagram Happy bday khan Saab. . Hamare industry ka king khan @iamsrk A post shared by Chulbul Pandey (@beingsalmankhan) on Nov 2, 2019 at 12:38pm PDT He shared a video where Salman Khan along with Sonakshi Sinha, Sohail Khan, Aayush Sharma, Maniesh Paul, Jacqueline and Warina Hussain sang 'happy birthday' song for SRK. Towards the end of the video, you can hear Salman Khan saying, "Abe tujhe phone kiya tha... phone toh utha leta mera..." on which Sonakshi says, 'Very bad... very bad..." Shah Rukh Khan and Salman have worked on many films together in Bollywood and were last seen together in 'Zero' where Salman made a special appearance for a song in the film. But we as an audience have enjoyed them both in iconic films like Karan Arjun, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and many more. View the full article
  5. With a slight tilt of his head, tousled hair and charming dimples that surfaced every time he smiled - the little Shah Rukh Khan admirer within me did a few lazy somersaults every time the man glanced square at the camera and tossed that trademark smirk. (c) Dharma Productions Yet, I can't recall my first SRK movie - you know 'the one' that grants you an initiation into the cult of King Khan admirers. I feel it ought to have been either DDLJ or Kuch Kuch Hota Hai at most. But, my earliest memories from the time would have me believe that it began with a strong liking for Raj, though I eventually ended up falling for Rahul. By the time I moved on from Rahul, I came to understand the true depth of feelings that was his fandom and why it wasn't just him but Shah Rukh - the actor, who was a bigger deal in this country of mad movie lovers. (c) Dharma Productions The man has been synonymous to romance in India. Presenting the picture-perfect version of the “ideal” lover who is a tempting mix of passion, warmth, friendship and possessiveness (at times bordering on obsession). People loved this blend of rugged handsomeness marrying tough romance, and almost got hooked to it. That's how India found it's King of Romance, and Karan Johar found his forever muse in Shah Rukh Khan. (c) Dharma Productions Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Darr, Yes Boss, Pardes, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, Devdas, Kal Ho Na Ho, Veer Zaara, Om Shanti Om, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Chennai Express, Happy New Year are just some of the major hit titles that SRK gave over the last few decades, thus reaffirming year after year that nobody does romance better than this man. (c) Red Chillies But here's the thing. Time moves on, people grow and change to meet the demands of this transient life, but then why is it that we make the people we love so insecure about adopting change? Why is it that while we all preach “change is the only constant”, we fail to appreciate it when our “heroes” attempt to walk the talk? That's perhaps what's eating at SRK's tremendous calibre as an artist right at this moment. The inability of his “fans” to welcome and accept him as anything that's remotely disconnected to romance. (c) Red Chillies Even though that's probably the only saving grace SRK needs right now. A change of pace, a change of narrative, and hell, perhaps even a change of heart to push through this clutter that decides the worth on an actor solely on the basis of Twitter reviews and box office collections. Are you feeling attacked? Why else are you putting up those defences then? (c) Yash Raj Films Where were you when Shah Rukh tried to present the other side of the story in Dil Se? When he tried his hands at a period drama with Asoka? Where was your camaraderie when he played a street gang leader in Josh? What happened to your righteousness when you let a story like Swades go unnoticed? What were your concerns with Fan and even Zero for that matter? (c) Red Chillies Why weren't these films good enough for you to appreciate even the art of an artist? Weren't the roles challenging enough for you, or would you say they were too experimental? Whether he played a nemesis or a dwarf, a king or a journalist, your limited scope of acceptance slowly and thoroughly stripped SRK of the joy and excitement to bring something new to the table. (c) Madras Talkies And that's where my complaint against him lies. Dear King Khan, there is a world beyond the romantic hero that lays unexplored for you. The times of the 'lover boy' is long gone, so perhaps it's time we said our goodbyes to the Raj(s) and Rahul(s) and made way for more Mohan(s), Kabir(s) and Jug(s) instead. (c) Dharma Productions We need more of Mohan's calm aggression, we crave for Kabir's junoon and the easy companionship that came with Dr Jehangir 'Jug' Khan, where the characters shouldered the narratives, and not the other way round. (c) Yash Raj Films There are people who are watching, who still come to witness that star who made romance come to life onscreen, and not so much the romance that made you a star. They come for the artist who excelled in his craft, the actor whose performance made a film, and a performer whose only joy came from performing, and not from the critics or the 300-Cr club memberships. Here's hoping to see more of you SRK, better of you. Love, A forever admirer. View the full article
  6. There's no doubt that Shah Rukh Khan is the king of Bollywood and the king of his fans' hearts. But, after Amitabh Bachchan's this year's Diwali party, SRK is now being hailed as a real-life hero who doesn't think twice before risking his own life to save someone else. Pick any of his movies and you will find Shah Rukh jumping across buildings, dodging bullets and fire to rescue the 'damsel in distress'. While, those scenes are scripted; SRK recently saved a woman's life with his bravery and presence of mind. View this post on Instagram On the way to @latrobeuni University.. It could have been a huge disaster, but thanks to SRK, it was averted as he put out the fire at the right time. Sadanand was rushed to the Nanavati Hospital and is kept in isolation in the ICU. She is said to have suffered 15 percent burns on her right leg and hands. Shah Rukh Khan, who rescued her, too suffered minor burns and injuries. © Viral Bhayani According to a report in Mid-Day, a source said, "Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn't know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire." SRK's fans are wishing for a speedy recovery for both Archana and King Khan. 7. Shah Rukh Khan proved once again that he is the one true king of Bollywood as he hung out with 120 acid attack survivors at his Meer Foundation. Meer foundation was founded by Shah Rukh in 2013 and named after his father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan. For the uninitiated, it works for the betterment of acid attack victims, right from taking care of their treatment to providing them jobs and other facilities. This year, SRK was in Delhi with his son AbRam to celebrate Diwali. Speaking to the media, he said that he plans to take him around to show how Diwali is celebrated in the national capital. On the work front, after Zero Shah Rukh has promised his fans that he would announce his next venture on his birthday which is on November 2. We can't wait, what about you?
  8. If you're a talk show fan or a lover of intense yet enlightening celebrity chats, then 'The Late Show With David Letterman' is probably already on your favourite list. For the uninitiated, David Letterman is one of the most famous TV host, producer and writer in America and his show is one of the most successful running conversational shows in TV history. He's interviewed many famed personalities from Barack Obama to George Clooney, and the latest celebrity who is going to spill some beans on his life and career is none other than the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. 9. It's been almost 24 years since 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' was released, but the memories are as fresh as if it was released yesterday. It fact, fresher than what most of us ate last night. © Rash Raj Films Jokes apart, when most of us were beginning to forget the movie, Shah Rukh Khan and his onscreen dad, Anupam Kher, came along and refreshed all those memories, and now my mind is playing the reel all over again. Anupam Kher is currently in New York and while sitting miles away he was missing his onscreen son Shah Rukh Khan. So, he shared this post on social media to let him know how much he's missing him, "Mere pyaare, Shah Rukh! Baas aise hi... New York mein tumhari achanak yaad ayi. 10. Shah Rukh Khan is also known as King Khan, not only because he is a tremendously good actor and rules over the hearts of millions of film lovers, but also because he is a true gentleman. Fans love him and swear by his words of wisdom. They take his words to heart and often treat him as a mentor. © YouTube That should not come as a shock because SRK is a great orator with a capability of stirring people's hearts with mere words and leaving a great impact on their minds. SRK might have just used this superpower for a great cause and the result is heartwarming. Recently, as part of the Meer Foundation initiative, Shah Rukh met acid attack survivors before their corrective surgeries, however, that was not all. While interacting with these strong women (many of whom were also his fans), he also shared some personal insights on life and facing it head-on, that is absolutely inspiring! SRK told the women to stay strong and live with their heads held high. He further told them that as long as they believed that they wanted to make something of themselves in life, the rest will fall in place. © Twitter He also underlined the importance of working for ourselves and being independent and said, “It's important for each one of us to make sure that we work for ourselves. We should do our own work without depending on another individual. Even if it's a small job, we should be fending for ourselves. And at the end of the day, we must be independent.” © YouTube The video from this meeting has since been widely circulated on social media and it's like a breath of fresh air to see these wonderful women smiling and giggling post their interaction with SRK. © YouTube Perhaps he doesn't know it, but we are sure that through this interaction SRK has touched many lives, and given many other survivors hope for the future. Shah Rukh Khan started the Meer foundation in 2017 and it focuses on improving the lives of acid-attack survivors.
  11. The only day the world becomes absolutely unreliable is on April Fool's day because you never know if the content all around you is trying to prank you or not! And that's what most publications, websites and TV channels tried to do on the 1st, including Comedy Central. While scanning channels I stopped on Comedy Central to watch the most popular sitcom on television since the early man- 'Friends', and to my sweet horror, it wasn't a delight anymore to watch the series. They'd planned to air the show for 12 hours, from 6 pm till 6 am and the prank they played on us was harsh af! © Warner Bros Television They'd taken one character from each episode and dubbed his/her voice in Hindi, while the rest were speaking in English, as it was originally and let me tell you this-watching Friends being dubbed in Hindi is certainly an acquired taste! For instance, the first episode I put on was where Joey goes on a date with a girl who keeps fishing food from his plate, and then he says his iconic line "Joey doesn't share food!". Well, the only difference was that Joey's character was speaking in Hindi, while everyone else in English. So instead he said 'Joey khana nahi banthta!'. Well, all this seemed alien but that's not all! After a little while, it seemed like Joey's voice seemed very familiar, like I've binged heard his voice all through my 90s. Then the realisation donned on me- Joey's dubbed voice was actually Shah Rukh Khan! I wasn't sure if I should've been ecstatic or pissed off actually. © Warner Bros Television Well, CC went on to dub every character's voice for one episode each, till the crack of dawn. So Monica's voice was dubbed by Kajol, Pheobe's was dubbed by Kangana Ranaut, Chandler's by Saif Ali Khan, Ross's by Amitabh Bachan and Rachel's by Sonam Kapoor and they all took turns to speak in Hindi. While Comedy Central was creating a laugh riot all across the country by showcasing an absolutely new avatar for the world's most loved sitcom, I actually found it to be a little bit of a nightmare! It probably went on as planned but the stars dubbing the voices scrupulously, like they're still in the 90s, trying to make sure the audience knows it's them was a bit too much to handle. As I said, it was an acquired taste and after a while, I got used to Saif Ali Khan saying 'Mein hoon Chandler, aur mere paas sirf hasi mazaak hai'. It felt very familiar and endearing by the end of it TBH. © MensXP Head of programming, English Entertainment, Viacom 18's Hashim Dsouza made a statement and said: “Comedy Central has been the home of F.R.I.E.N.D.S and we've continually presented this iconic show through fresh and innovative programming that week-on-week keeps it at the pinnacle of most-watched shows in English entertainment. Delving deep into the spirit of April Fools, we're giving viewers a unique and bizarre version of their favourite sitcom, ensuring they enjoy this ultimate prank-day. For the longest time, Indian fans could only imagine and hope for a Desi F.R.I.E.N.D.S, but now that wait is over as we give them a glimpse to a whacky Hindi-speaking avatar of the show.” © Warner Bros Television That's quite a lot of work, to be honest, Comedy Central. Some parts did make me laugh though, parts that I got used to and didn't find funny in the past, seemed funny in Hindi for some reason. It could be the way they were dubbed and the Bollywood actors trying to embed their humour through their own style for each character. All in all, it was a good watch and something completely unexpected. If you missed out on it, I am not sure how you can watch a re-run of the same again but I do know Comedy Central doesn't lack innovation and they'll be back with something super fun, once again.
  12. People say "Behind every successful man, there's a woman" and Shah Rukh Khan's latest post only reiterates the same. On days when Sushant Singh Rajput is not busy impressing us with his performance or working for the welfare of the society, the actor is busy entertaining his millions of followers with his goofy and funny antics on social media. It won't be wrong to say that his Instagram account is a goldmine of inspiration, entertainment, humour, and all things amazing and this video is one of the gemstones we found. © Instagram Sushant is currently working on his upcoming film 'Chhichhore' and after the pack up, he decided to recreate 'Koi Mil Gaya'. 14. Have you ever been on Twitter and accidentally liked a tweet while scrolling? Yep, almost every single person has done that, it just happens sometimes. But nope, if a celebrity makes that mistake - that too with the most stupid tweet ever - they have to be crucified. People aren't allowed to make a mistake now, especially when you're in the public eye. That's why as soon as someone spotted Karan Johar liking a tweet on the social media website which was praising Akshay Kumar and his new movie 'Kesari', while also simultaneously abusing Shah Rukh Khan, the hashtag #ShameOnKaranJohar starting making the rounds. ' @iamsrk it's high time you should know that you have been keeping Snake on your Neck. This ungrateful @karanjohar can stoop low for money and fame. 15. India is a rich land of culture, multiple languages and even better food. Now, the government is trying its best to ensure that every sort of tourism and every cultural aspect of this melting pot of our rich history is glorified and promoted. So, as per the latest plan of schemes, the government wants to focus on the development and the promotion of the beautiful Urdu language in India, and to do this, it is tapping into the power of Bollywood with SRK, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif being considered to do the needful promotion. © Instagram The decision is being steered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development's autonomous body National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) but the people of the nation are divided over it. A lot of people are opposing this idea, trashing it and ridiculing the actors, claiming that having Salman and Katrina promote Urdu is like ensuring it dies a natural death. Katrina Kaif promoting Urdu! This has to be the biggest joke of 2019 https://t.co/xVLO9S2oFa — Iqbal Grewal (@IqbalGrewal1) March 18, 2019 Didn't know Katrina Kaif spoke Urdu,, let alone promote it... https://t.co/b1cwc4gfJd — shantanudutta (@shantanudutta) March 18, 2019 Now, the problem with trolling is that the target here are the actors who have not given a final word, made no announcement or even endorsed this idea on their own personal social media accounts. Sure, we are all entitled to have an opinion and this is a fair point that just by the virtue of being a Bollywood actor, it doesn't mean that they can actually promote a language, which they probably don't even speak themselves. However, trolling them to be the choice of a decision-making body is actually silly. While various memes and jokes are being generated on social media, there have been some sensible internet consumers who have tried to understand that a Katrina Kaif or a Salman Khan is not a problem , but maybe the people choosing them are making a weird decision, which is not suitable for Urdu lovers across the nation. © Instagram Some people have very respectfully suggested the name of Javed Akhtar and even Salim Khan (Salman's father) to be the endorsers and that makes perfect sense. So the next time one decides to troll, maybe it will be a good idea to think twice before doing it?
  16. Cricket is India's biggest religion and its religious followers, aka the Cricket fans, are now gearing up to welcome this year's biggest festival. Yes, we're talking about the much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 which begins on March 23. Ahead of IPL, everyone is busy promoting their respective teams and so is the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. As KKR gears up to play their first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 24, the team's proud owner Shah Rukh Khan has posted a promo on social media with the message "Aakhri Dum Tak Aakhri Run Tak". “You pray for us, we play for you” Let's be in it together, Aakhri Dum Tak Aakhri Run Tak. https://t.co/hDfglxXYMh#KKRHaiTaiyaar @kkriders — Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) March 18, 2019 He wrote, "'You pray for us, we play for you' Let's be in it together, Aakhri Dum Tak Aakhri Run Tak." KKR is being coached by Proteas legend Jacques Kallis and is led by Dinesh Kartik who recently unveiled KKR's new jersey. We're sure all the KKR fans are praying hard for their team to win this year, now all we have to see is whether SRK's team manages to live up to the expectations of fans.

  18. 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein' was the movie that gave us a bashful but talented actor R Madhavan, and he is all set to start his directorial debut, finally. After a successful stint in Bollywood with films like 'Tanu Weds Manu' and '3 Idiots', the Tamil movie actor has decided to venture in to direction and will be churning out a multi-lingual film soon, in which he'll be acting too. © Pinterest 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', which will be based on the life story of Nambi Narayan, the space scientist and aerospace engineer will be Madhavan's directorial debut film and we're really looking forward to knowing how good the actor is with his directing skills. But that's not all. We hear that Bollywood's Baadshah- Shah Rukh Khan is playing a cameo in the hind version of the film, while the Tamil star Suriya will be playing a cameo in the Tamil version of the film. © Pinterest Though we aren't sure of the rest of the cast just yet, all we know is Madhavan has roped in SRK to have a small surprise stint in the film, which will probably give it the edge it needs. And apart from that, he himself is donning the role of the scientist Nambi Narayan. So far, the look that Madhavan's working on, for the film, bears an uncanny resemblance to the Indian scientist and we can't wait to watch how he portrays him in the film, as well. © Instagram I was advised to use this during the promotion of Rocketry or get a brand onboard to monetize it but I couldn't.. cause I owe it to all you lovely people who are worried as I was..BELIEVE —getting fitter is all in the mind.BELIEVE #Rmadhavan #actormaddy #rocketeyfilm #Nambinarayanan #Tricolourfilms #Vijaymoolan #Dramatictransformations #Believeyoucan #14daychallange A post shared by R. The video finally released two days ago and boy, it's probably one of the best tributes to none other than the King Khan himself! Who knew that Marshmello was a fan? 20. Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are two of the most coveted superstars in the Indian film industry and while we'd love to see them work together on a project, seems like it is not possible, at least according to the King Khan himself. View this post on Instagram Launda na samajhna, beta baap hain tumhare! #1WeekToZero @anushkasharma @KatrinaKaif @aanandlrai @mohdzeeshanayyub #tigmanshudhulia @RedChilliesEnt @cypplOfficial A post shared by Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) on Dec 14, 2018 at 2:35am PST Recently during an interview, SRK was asked about his future plans and one of the questions was about him working with Khiladi Kumar. Now he'd love to work with him but his reason for not being able to do so is kind of very hilarious. “What do I say to this? I don't wake up as early as him. I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I'm a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me. It will be fun to act with Akshay. Dono set pe hi nahin milenge. Woh jaa raha hoga aur main aa raha hounga (He'll be leaving the set and I'll be coming in). I would like to work like Akshay and with him, but our timings won't match.” View this post on Instagram ð A post shared by Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) on Jan 14, 2019 at 10:57pm PST Besides being a funny reason, it is also a very logical, and a relatable one for all of us struggling to make it to work on time every day. Now if you think about it, the duo was last seen together on the screen when they worked in 'Dil Toh Pagal Hai 'in 1997. We'd love to see the two men come together for a movie, but seems like the genres and the timings they both choose are poles apart. SRK was last seen in Anand L Rai's 'Zero' which didn't perform well at the box office and Akshay was seen with Rajinikanth in '2.0' and is now working on 'Sooryavanshi' with Rohit Shetty.
  21. Shah Rukh Khan has charmed his audience as the perfect prince charming for the longest time. He was once the biggest heart-throb in the Hindi film industry, and women still crush on the man even after all this time, and regardless of the fact that SRK hasn't delivered a blockbuster in a long time. However, with the news that the actor might be playing the lead in the Rakesh Sharma biopic 'Saare Jahan Se Achha', a lot of people came to pin their hopes on the film to bring back the SRK of the glorious days of 'Swades'. However, rumours are rife that SRK might have pulled out of the film to star in the third instalment of Farhan Akhtar's directorial series 'Don 3'. © Yash raj Films Even though no official announcement has been made either confirming or denying the speculations, reports suggest that King Khan made the switch owing to the box office disaster of his experimental project 'Zero'. Shah Rukh's latest movie terribly bombed at the theatres and failed to impress his fans and critics alike, who simply wrote the film off. This is said to have made the SRK more cautious about his future projects and apparently, after all these years of taking risks, he has been reconsidering playing unconventional roles of late. © Red Chillies Entertainment So when asked about his biggest fear, SRK came clear with his concern. He told Deccan Chronicle that, “I hope the day never comes when I am so tired that I tell myself that it is ok to do just a regular film which will get made in 40 days, release soon, become a box office hit and I can buy myself a new car and be happy. That thought scares me.” Well, this statement which clearly spells out that SRK is afraid of getting so demotivated about work or even life in general, that he ends up settling for less or mundane stuff just for the heck of it, sounds like a thought a lot of us have had at some point. © YRF Come to think about it, be it school, college or even work, there must have been a number of such moments in our lives when we were going through a real low or facing a major setback/disappointment which could be termed as our personal 'Zero' moments of life. And isn't it so easy to settle for less and just try to keep going with safe options because “well, at least I didn't stop” or “this a fool-proof formula, even though I have tried it a 100 other times”? © Red Chillies Entertainment We know, we have all been there and done that at some point in time, but it's good to know that a big star like SRK is also acknowledging to facing such situations in his life, and resolving to come out of it fighting. Instead of taking the easy way out. There's a lesson for us right there. Getting comfortable with our situation is easy, and easier still when you want to avoid failure. But that would only leave us feeling discontented and unhappy. So let's take those risks regardless of whether we make it or lose.
  22. After being on board to be a part of the Rakesh Sharma biopic 'Saare Jahaan Se Acha' for the longest time, Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly quit the movie. It's rumoured that King Khan has chosen to continue playing Don in 'Don 3' instead of the biopic, but nothing is apparently confirmed since Aamir Khan also recently said, “Isn't Shah Rukh Khan doing that film? Those are only reports, let's wait until he makes an announcement about it.” View this post on Instagram Hug from the Thug....!! Beat that! A post shared by Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) on Oct 31, 2018 at 8:35pm PDT So, no one knows what's exactly going on. But, now it seems like Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, and even Kartik Aaryan are in the running for the role, according to Bollywood Life. All three actors have obviously proven themselves as brilliant actors and it's no surprise that they could be replacing someone like Shah Rukh Khan. Moreover, on top of this, the recent success of movies by younger and relatively newer actors in contrast with the failures of all the movies by the 'Khans' last year may indicate that the era of the Khans ruling the box office may be over. And, this could also be the reason why after SRK, actors like Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao will take up the role he was supposed to portray. But, there's also some bad news for Kartik Aaryan; according to a source, as reported by Bollywood Life, “Kartik is not really considered. The character demands a performer who can pull it off very well. Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao both have what it takes to play this character.” Sorry, Kartik. But, whoever ends up doing the movie - Vicky or Rajkummar - we all know it's going to be great.
  23. The fact that Shah Rukh Khan continues to be the Baadshah of Bollywood to this day, even though it has been a few years since we last saw the best of him on-screen, comes as no surprise to most of us. Over the years, SRK has created a name for himself and a space in our hearts, which is rather difficult to do away with, all courtesy to his great performances. While we have often heard and witnessed crazy fan stories and a gazillion tales of SRK's admirers pulling out fun antics to get the actor's attention, nothing quite beats what Senior Congress Leader Shashi Tharoor witnessed during his recent visit to the hill station of Munnar in Kerala. © Red Chillies Entertainment It so happened that when the politician checked into his hotel room, he was surprised to find out that it looked much more like a “shrine” devoted to SRK and 'Chennai Express' than an upscale hotel room. By his own admission, the room came covered with Shah Rukh's posters and cut-outs all over. Apparently, when SRK was shooting for 'Chennai Express', he stayed in the said room, which was later converted into a shrine. Being surrounded by many reminders of the actor, Tharoor took to Twitter to talk about his experience. He even tagged SRK on the post and shared some pictures of the room, which definitely works as too good of a reminder of Shah Rukh and his hit film 'Chennai Express'. Check out the post and images here: Dear @iamsrk, when on a brief visit to Munnar yesterday I took rest in the room you occupied in 2013, which has been converted into a shrine for you & #ChennaiExpress! Every wall is decorated w/posters of the film &the suite is dominated by this cut-out of you. No place for rest! pic.twitter.com/hFUYCgXLEc — Shashi Tharoor (@ShashiTharoor) January 21, 2019 Frankly, we aren't very shocked to see the staff of the hotel turning this room into a shrine, given the kind of devoted fan-following SRK enjoys to this day. Though SRK's latest film 'Zero' didn't perform too well at the box office, he has decided to move on and focus on other projects. As per recent reports, King Khan is all set to start shooting for the last instalment of Farhan Akhtar's Don series with 'Don: The Final Chapter', which will hit the floors in mid-2019.
  24. Shah Rukh Khan was recently roped in to feature in the astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic called 'Saare Jahan Se Accha' but now we hear he's opted out of that project, and we're slightly disappointed. But not that disappointed to learn that SRK might have chosen to take up 'Don 3' instead of the biopic. At least we'll see him in his best avatar this year! © Twitter Maybe it was 'Zero's' box office failure that made him decide to chose his roles wisely and hence, he chose a role that was more comfortable for him to play than the role he would have in 'Saare Jahan Se Accha'. SRK was to begin shooting for the biopic early next month, as it was lined up after 'Zero's' release but now we're not sure if that's going to happen at all. According to a popular publication, the actor opted out of the film to star in the third part of the franchise 'Don', which in all probability will hit the floors this year and we can't wait to see what goodness the third one holds for us. Director Mahesh Mathai's 'Saare Jahaan Se Accha' was going to be produced by Khan, along with Siddarth Roy Kapoor but now that seems highly unlikely. The best part though is that the lead role was initially offered to Aamir Khan but because he couldn't commit towards the venture, he recommended Shah Rukh for the role. © Twitter "I thank Aamir, who was to do the film for calling me and telling me about the role as it would suit me. I will try and spend time with Rakesh Sharma." SRK told a popular publication in an interview, when Aamir had recommended the role for him. © Instagram According to some Bollywood news sources, Priyanka Chopra will be playing the lead role in the movie as well, but there are no further speculations into that. We wonder if that's the reason SRK backed out of the movie venture in the first place? Well, that's something we'll never know! © Pinterest For now, let's just wait it out and see who takes up the lead role in 'Saare Jahaan Se Accha'. Although Farhan Akhtar did reveal that there's a 'big announcement' on its way and if it's not him tying the knot with girlfriend Shibani Dandekar, then it's definitely the release of Don 3, starring SRK, this year!
  25. Durga Singh's Karan and Arjun are back and showing the whole world how to spend a perfect Sunday - by watching their own movie 'Karan Arjun' together after 23 years. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood's Baadshah and Sultan, were chilling together and walking down the memory lane, when most of us were busy watching 'Sooryavansham' for the 1234567th time on TV. Honestly, I have seen Hira Thakur drink that damn poisoned 'kheer' so many times, it doesn't even bother me any more.
