  1. Having a six-pack is something that every guy aspires when it comes to having a good physique. If you are reading this article, it is highly possible that even you have searched something like this on the internet: 'How to lose belly fat?' 'How to get six-pack abs?' 'Easy way to build six-pack abs?' The search results that you may have gotten would be of fat burning drinks or fat loss exercises or belly fat burning techniques. Like everyone, you do those things and the end result is... nothing! © Getty Images It is high time you get it into your brain that there is no magical fix that can help you get a six-pack in a week. It needs hard work and dedication. Start with these basic steps: 1. Go On A Diet Everyone has abs, as it is the part of human physiology. The only reason people are not able to see their abs are for two reasons: a. They have a lot of body fat covering it b. They do not have developed abdominal muscles Let's cover the first part here. The reality is that you need to be on a diet to bring your body fat percentage down. At the same time, you would want to preserve the muscle mass you already have. To calculate the number of calories you need to eat for fat loss, simply multiply your body weight in pounds with 13. To preserve your muscle, have one gram of protein per pound of your body weight. If you weigh 160 lbs., this would mean: a. Calories = 160x13 = ~2100 calories b. Protein = 160 grams 2. Do Weight Training You need to lift weights to hold on to your muscle when you lose fat. © Getty Images Make sure that you are doing compound exercises aka exercises that engage your core, and are moving more than one muscle group at a time so that you build your core. You can also include direct ab training with and without abs to build them further ahead. 3. Lose Around 0.5 To 1% Of Your Body Weight Every Week You will definitely get started on a diet once you plug in those numbers from step #1 and start losing weight. Then, there will be two questions: a. How much weight to lose? b. How fast to lose it? To reveal a six-pack, you need to have around 10 to 12% body fat. So, until you reach that number, you will have to dig deep. To find your body fat number, you can use a lot of tools like online calculators or Inbody machines. Ideally, you should be losing around 0.5 to 1% of your body weight every week. If things are faster than this, you could eat some extra calories. If you are comfortable with it, you can pick up the pace a bit. If things have slowed down, you can either calculate the numbers again on your new body weight or you can simply drop 100-150 calories and things should pick up. So, go do the work and follow a plan instead of finding the next quick-fix for six-pack abs. In all honesty, there aren't enough shows to accommodate every Marvel fan and it is obvious that some people will be late to watch the movie. In order to avoid spoilers, you either need to go off the grid or stay away from your friends who like to spoil movies. Having said that, you really don't need to go turn off your internet to avoid spoilers; there are a few ways to avoid them. Dietary Control In a recent interview, Virat himself said that he hasn't tasted 'butter naan' and 'butter chicken' in the last 5 years which used to be his favourite dish. This not only shows his immense discipline towards his diet but also tells you that he stays away from any kind of junk foods at all. You can't expect your body to look and respond like a sportsman if you're going to feed it junk food every now and then. Your diet should be as nutritious as possible. What do I mean by this? You need to get at least 6-7 hours of deep sleep. A good range is 7-8+ hrs for better recovery outcomes. Some might require more than 8 due to their genetics and stress. If you are not able to get at least 6 hours then you might face sleep deprival effects. 6) Supplements- Supplements can really help you fill the gaps. You don't have to take a ton of it and especially not bullshit ones like BCAAs, fat burners, testosterone booster, etc. In fact, I would suggest you take the effective ones like: 1) Whey Protein- Whey protein is more of a convenience food which can help you to fulfil your protein gap. East African country Rwanda, has officially banned skin lightening and bleaching products and we couldn't be happier about the country's decision. The government is now sending officials around the country to enforce the ban more openly. The country is leading a campaign against skin bleaching and similar substandard cosmetics, especially products that include hydroquinone, a skin-lightening agent, in it. After all, it took an African country to stand up against some very intangible and ridiculous beauty standards that have been placed in high regard, almost all over the world. © Twitter "It is been implemented by the Ministry of Health and the Rwanda Food and Drug Authority and the Rwanda Standards Board," Simeon Kwizera, the PR and communications officer for the board told a popular publication. He also mentioned that the operations are being handled by technical people and that the police are ensuring all safety standards, while the operations are ongoing. The initiative was sparked by President Paul Kagame on social media, when he started a discussion on the need to ban skin whitening products, way back in November 2018. Well, it's a terrific move by the Rwanda government as they've realised the crucial health hazards that a chemical like hydroquinone can pose, even today. No matter whether you are not even able to hang on the bar unassisted or whether you are very close and are just somehow not able to complete that ever elusive rep, that basics for performing a pull-up remains same. You will need two things to perform that pull-up that you have been longing for so long and those two things that will get your chin up over that bar are: 1. Losing Excess Fat As simple as it might sound, this is one of the two primary reasons why you are not able to lift your own weight. Think about it, when do you think would be easier when it comes to pulling your own weight? When you are carrying unnecessary weight on you or when you are lighter. So, lose the unnecessary flab. Get Stronger Another no brainer when it comes to pulling your own body weight would be to get stronger as if you do not have the required strength to lift your weight, it wouldn't matter how light weight you are. So, if you go to the gym to do dumbbell curls and crunches, it's time for you to lift some serious weights. Start doing compound lifts like squats, deadlifts and presses and try to consistently get stronger doing them on at least on a month to month basis. If you do that consistently, you'll be pulling yourself up and down the bar sooner rather than later. Now, I do realise that these two things are not as easy as they sound but the fact of the matter is that there is no other way around if you are serious about performing the exercise and when it comes to fitness, the secret is that there is no secret and you have to put in the hard work if you want to see results. Also, most people do not realise the importance of being leaner when it comes to performing bodyweight exercises and give way too much emphasis on the strength part which obviously will help you but is only one half of the equation. But worry not, because there is a super easy way that will help you make your feet beach-ready in 4 easy steps, all of it at the comfort of your home. Read on: 1. Cut & Shape Your Nails © Twitter Cut your nails using a nail-cutter. Try doing it straight and don't cut too much around the corners, because that can result in bleeding, pain, and later, ingrown nails.
