  1. Drop tests are often a way to brag about a smartphone's durability, however, a Chinese smartphone company took it to the next level. Chinese company Iqoo (Owned by VIVO) tested a smartphone by attaching it to a high-altitude balloon that went up to 31,540 meters or 1,03,000. The smartphone was then dropped and to everybody's surprise, it survived the fall! © Weibo The smartphone in question is a gaming smartphone by the Chinese company and was found in a working state after the fall. The video shows the smartphone ascending into the air that also helped in assessing the battery life of the smartphone in extreme conditions. The smartphone survived extreme temperatures of -56 degrees Celsius, which is quite impressive even though this test could be carried out in the factory. Finding the smartphone after the fall was challenging and it was located using 4X4 SUVs and drones. When the smartphone was discovered the screen was still recording and had suffered some damage, which was quite impressive. © Weibo The smartphone itself has a 4,000 mAh battery, a 6.41-inch screen and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor. The smartphone also supports 44w fast-charging. This is not the first time a smartphone has been dropped from such a great height as previously, companies like Xiaomi, Honor and others have demonstrated a similar drop test. Having said that, this is the highest drop test we've ever seen on a smartphone yet.
  2. Earlier this year, Roger Federer made the announcement that he does not require the length of rest that he usually takes around this time and that he will be playing the clay season of 2019. This meant that after a four-year absence, he was set to finally compete in Roland Garros. Federer began his clay season with strong tournaments in Madrid and Rome getting sufficient match practice for the Roland Garros. He entered the tournament fresh and looking like his usual glorious self. He breezed through his initial rounds, oozing class and setting the clock back to a Roger Federer that was calm, composed and lethal. He did not drop a single set until he met his fellow countryman Stanislas Wawrinka in the quarter final which he won 3-1. Twitter/@rolandgarros Then came the overwhelming challenge of world no. 2 and tournament favourite Rafael Nadal, who is unarguably the greatest player on the surface and whose rivalry with Federer is the stuff of legend. The build-up to the match was of epic proportions, but unfortunately, it failed to live up to its billing. This was not necessarily due to a dip in Federer's form, who by no means played a poor match, but due to the man on the other side of the net. Federer may have played a good match, but Rafa, on this surface, plays an entirely different sport. One of the widely accepted truths of the world of sport is that one of the hardest tasks is beating Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros, and this rang true throughout the entire match as the 11-time champion made Federer struggle and adapt throughout the game. If Nadal required any help at all, the weather played spoilsport for Federer, as the overwhelming wind currents had a huge effect on service and rallies, complimenting Rafa's style of grind, spin and margins. Federer had to both figuratively and literally, weather the storm. Federer, known for his elegance and class and known to play tennis without a hair out of place, was made to grind, grunt and groan throughout the first two sets which ended 6-3 and 6-4 in Rafa's favour respectively. Reuters Till this point, the match remained a contest. With several points remaining in the balance, Nadal just seemed to have the edge over his long-time rival. But beyond this, the match carried out as a mere formality and Nadal wrapped up the third set 6-2 to book a place in the final. Federer's tournament up to this point had been marvellous, and, on the day, he simply met a better opponent, more suited to the surface. This cannot be considered a lamentable tournament or performance by Federer as he defied expectations by simply setting up this highly-anticipated semi-final, after a four-year absence from this event and surface. After the match the Swiss ace admitted in his press conference that he defied expectations by reaching this stage, before heaping praise on the 'King of Clay'. “There's nobody who play(s) remotely close to him. It's just amazing how he plays from deep and bounces back and forth from the baseline,” he said. Nadal too, was all praise for his opponent. “It's incredible to play Roger here. Congratulations to Roger. He's probably the best player in history for me,” the Spaniard claimed. Twitter/@rolandgarros Nadal will now go on to play the winner of the semi-final which will be continued between Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem today for a whooping 12th title in Paris. The match between Djokovic and Thiem took the brunt of the bad weather conditions and was abandoned at one set a piece, with Thiem having achieved a break, early in the third. As for Federer, fans are left to ponder whether they will ever see him play on clay again. But if this is goodbye, no matter how unfortunate, by no means should Federer bid farewell without his head held high. Federer in Roland Garros 2019, showed why he is widely considered, by fans, peers and former pros alike, as the greatest of all-time.
  3. Robert Downey Jr. announced his plans to clean the Earth with the help of Nanotechnology during Amazon's Re:Mars conference in Las Vegas on Tuesday night. But that's not the only exciting announcement we heard during the keynote. The folks over at Amazon also unveiled the latest Prime Air drone design, which the company says it wants to launch in the coming months. Before we talk about the drone itself, check out this video showing the new drone in action - As you can see, the new Prime Air drone is essentially a hybrid aircraft that can do vertical as well as forward flights. The takeoff and landing look particularly smooth too. The video itself does a good job of showing us the drone's flying capability and it seems to be pretty good as far as flying is concerned. As for the safety features, well Amazon's consumer worldwide CEO Jeff Wilke took a good amount of time to emphasise the same during the keynote. According to him, the new drone will take advantage of a combination of hardware components and machine learning models to safely deliver the packages. © Amazon The drone that was showcased during the event is apparently fitted with thermal cameras, depth cameras, and sonar to detect hazards. It also has onboard computers that use machine learning to automatically detect obstacles and navigate around them. “We know customers will only feel comfortable receiving drone deliveries if the system is incredibly safe. From paragliders, power lines, to the corgi in your backyard, this drone has safety covered,” said Wilke during the presentation. © Reuters The rotors of the drone, as you can see, are also covered for safety and the packages for delivery are carried safely inside the fuselage in the middle. Prime Air delivery drones have six degrees of freedom as opposed to four in the normal quadcopters. It will allow for more dynamic and nimble flight. Amazon says the goal is to take advantage of drone delivery tech to fly up to 15 miles and deliver packages under five pounds to customers in less than 30 minutes. As mentioned earlier, we still don't exactly know when the Prime Air drone deliveries will begin since Amazon is waiting for FAA's approval. But that's just Federal Aviation Administration, which is a government body of the United States. For its use in India, the Ministry of Civil Aviation will have to approve it. And if history is something to go by, it may take a long time. So let's just rely on the delivery guys for our packages now.
  4. They say free goodies always taste better than the stuff we have to pay for. That isn't always true, though. When life gives us lemons, no matter how costless they might be, the lemonade still tastes like shit. So, earlier today when the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) Chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that women in the national capital will be 'entitled' to free rides on Delhi Metro, DTC and cluster buses, the announcement left a sour taste in our mouth (pun intended). A large number of female commuters who use public transportation on a regular basis are thrilled by this news, while others are also concerned about the chaos this would unleash, with problems stemming from overcrowding and people management on buses and metros. © Twitter However, that being said, at first glance, it does seem like a great move to encourage more women to use public transportation, but we fail to fathom how this is going to better the pressing issues related to women's safety in the state? Giving every woman free access to metro and buses in no way helps ensure that women will really be safe from abuse, molestation or rape. In fact, it only makes them more vulnerable to other kinds of inconvenience such as theft and difficulties that arise from overcrowding. Women might still get stalked, cat-called and assaulted once they get off the metro and buses, so, sorry, but Kejriwal's reasoning behind this 'free ride' move does nothing to endure women's safety. © Twitter Yet, the major question still remains: Are 'special' privileges the only way of ensuring women's safety? “I remember when the women's compartment was introduced on metros, men seem to hate the special treatment women received, and have often lashed out at women who travel in the general compartments 'despite having an entire compartment to themselves'. Thanks, but we can pay for our rides, spare us the chaos,” says 28-year-old Dutee. The overarching sentiment shared by women who can afford to pay for the tickets is that this step is unnecessary for a number of reasons. However, for those who may not be as privileged, this surely comes as a great relief and there is no denying that fact. Regardless of the money in their pockets, women will now be able to get from one place to another without being bothered by the monetary aspects (especially in times of dire need). Now women can travel free of cost in Delhi metro and DTC bus...there was already reserved seats everywhere for women....I don't understand what kind of equality is this between men and women?..Then why everyone said that लडà¤à¤¾ लडà¤à¥ à¤à¤ समान?? — pranav sangal (@pranavsangal4) June 3, 2019 34-year-old Neetu, who works as a house help in South Delhi, wasn't even aware that something of the sort is in the pipeline for Delhi women. But once she was informed, she was beyond relieved and said, “I avoid taking the metro unless I really have to, and the same goes for AC buses. But if this new rule really comes to pass, I won't have to think twice before taking them when I am travelling long distances within the city. It would make life so easy. I hope they can make it happen.” These are two diverse sets of female commuters who hit the roads every day and have different standpoints on Kejriwal's proposal, which will reportedly take another three months to get implemented. While there are genuine pros and cons to this proposal presented by the AAP government, there is no denying that another segment of women are still questioning why women 'always' have to be given special benefits for their “safety”, which again takes away from the larger movement towards equality. © Twitter “This will set back womenfolk and the feminist movement in the country yet again. We need better and stronger ways of safeguarding women's security. Special incentives do nothing more than make men loathe women for “all the things they get easily” and “get away with” simply because they belong to a particular gender,” observes Snigdha, a college student who regularly uses public transport. On certain levels, this somehow also reeks of vote-bank politics by the AAP government. After failing to bag even a single Lok Sabha seat in the recently concluded elections, this almost seems like a desperate move by the Kejriwal government to get into the good books of the female population in Delhi. What for? Are we Delhi Women not considered capable enough to pay for tickets? Is this empowerment in your understanding??! Delhi Metro, bus rides likely to be free of cost for women - India News https://t.co/cdAX2YVXlu — Pragya Rathore (@pragsrats) June 2, 2019 We certainly wish the Kejriwal government could come out with more concrete ways to deal with the vital issue of women's safety in the city. While this might help to a certain extent, the impending chaos is almost palpable. We wonder if this move to warm up to women in the region will help AAP in salvaging its sorry state of affairs, ahead of the State Assembly Elections in 2020.
  5. So the elections are over and the results are out, great. We now move on to the next big event marked in our calendars, maybe even bigger than the voting day for some of us - the ICC World Cup 2019 that begins 30th May 2019 - with all the qualified teams now present in England, trying to get in the groove with the warm-up games scheduled to begin today. Sarfaraz Khan's Pakistan Team had arrived in England exactly a month ago for their bilateral ODI series against the hosts, during which they got absolutely obliterated by Eoin Morgan's side, losing all four matches the two teams played. On the other hand, Virat Kohli's Men in Blue left for the venue from the Mumbai airport on 22nd May, after a strenuous two month long season of the Indian Premier League, which ended with the Indian vice captain, Rohit Sharma lifting the championship trophy for the Mumbai Indians for a record fourth time. Jet set to go ââ#CWC19 #TeamIndia pic.twitter.com/k4V9UC0Zao — BCCI (@BCCI) May 21, 2019 And yes, a lot of players on the Indian roster and the members of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are concerned about the fatigue Indian athletes are feeling because of the IPL and the lack of time to recuperate, our major concern is about the matchup between India and Pakistan which falls on 16th June 2019, according to the World Cup fixtures. After the unfortunate Pulwama attack that took place on this year's Valentine's Day, during which numerous CRPF Jawans were killed in a terror attack planned and executed by the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, BCCI urged the International Cricket Council to “sever ties with the nation from which terrorism emanates.” © Reuters ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar, however, refused to do so whilst saying that he did not enjoy such authority over the Pakistan because of their 'Permanent' status in the Council. But ever since, both the Board and the fans of Indian cricket seemed to have forgotten about the whole chapter. Was it because of the elections? Was it because of the IPL? We do not know. © Reuters Remember, the final decision of forfeiting the match against Pakistan lies completely at the hands of the Indian cricket board. Letting go of a single match, during the initial rounds to make their protest heard is all well and good but what if the two teams meet again during the latter half of the tournament or maybe even the World Cup final? Is the BCCI willing to roll over the dream of skipper Virat Kohli of winning his first World Cup as the leader and the dream of MS Dhoni of lifting the trophy one more time before retiring, just to prove that one point? Alternatively, will Team India just forget about Pulwama and all the hue and cry the board created about boycotting the neighbouring rivals and play the match like any other?
  6. Ever since Google first announced its AR glass as an 'experimental' product, there's been a lot of hype surrounding it. But Google Glass didn't quite catch up with the public due to some obvious reasons. Well, after a few iterations, Google has now released the third-gen Google Glass with a slightly new design and improved internals. Yes, a new version of Google Glass is out now, and here's everything you need to know about it - © YouTube The new version of Google Glass is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon XR1, which is a chip that's specifically designed for AR and VR. These new pair of glasses also have a USB-C port for faster charging. The new glasses now run on Android and comes with support for Android Enterprise Mobile Device Management. As you can see, the new Google Glasses also look a little different, thanks to the new frames. Additionally, it also comes with a better camera, because why not? However, all the advancements come at a price and this one costs $999. It's still less than the original one which Google had originally shipped out, but honestly, as an average consumer, it doesn't really matter. Why? Well, that's because it's not meant to be a widespread consumer product. Google is calling it the 'Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2', and selling it only to business users. That being said, we really hope Google makes a version for consumers too. Like, seriously. We already have a ton of VR and AR headsets and eyewear out there in the market, with a few more slated to arrive soon. In fact, Microsoft's HoloLens 2 and Vuzix' glasses are really popular. Google's current customers and partners include AGCO, DHL Group, HB Fuller, and Sutter Health. So, a lot of people are actively using this product, and so we think it's high time we get a consumer version of this product.
  7. Spoiler ahead. “You are my queen”. You can literally make a 'Game of Thrones' drinking game based on this one line because that was basically the extent of Jon Snow's dialogues this season. Jon Snow was always one of my favourite characters throughout all the seasons, and not just because he's 'pretty', but seeing him reduced to basically a 'yes, ma'am' person towards the end was disappointing to watch, to say the least. After thinking of himself as a bastard child, he found out he was the rightful heir to the iron throne and the one true king. He literally died and came back to life. But, it seemed like everything was for nothing. He has always proved how honourable he is, he's always looked out for everyone, he literally killed the person he loved because people would be better off without her. His duty became the death of his love. And, even after so much, he doesn't become the king? I know he doesn't want, he never wanted that but he was born for it and everyone whon knew about his true identity knew that and wanted him to come to power. What was the point of so much build-up regarding his identity - which even got Varys killed - when it was all forgotten immediately. Ever since Tyrion found out about Jon being a Targaryen, he wanted him to be King and own the Iron Throne and not Daenerys. But, what happened towards the end when Tyrion suggested Bran as the new king? Did he just forget that Jon exists or what? It honestly didn't make sense. I want to know why his true identity was hyped up so much for it to not even come up in the end. Only a handful people knew he was a Targaryen before he killed Dany and then the secret was just kept with the same people? No one thought of actually calling upon the true heir to take up his rightful place? Not even Sam? Then, there was the whole season cliffhanger with his death, and then him coming back to life because of the Lord of Light. We kind of saw why Beric came back to life, to save Arya so she could kill the Night King. But, what was Jon's purpose of coming back? It couldn't be to kill Dany since she probably wouldn't have become 'Mad Queen' if she never even knew who Jon was because him having a better claim to the throne than her was one of the major factors that led her to burn down King's Landing. So, his resurrection was for nothing? I can think of a couple of alternating endings for him. He could've become king after killing Dany and then just became ruthless and started killing people like her in a few years. Becoming what he once saved everyone from. It would've been such a twisted ending, but trust me, it would've been better, to be honest. Or, Drogon could've tried to kill him instead of burning down the iron throne and he could've come out of the fire unburnt since he is a Targaryen as well. Or something interesting other than just him going back to where he started - the Night's Watch, which technically shouldn't exist since the Night King is dead. It was a proper full circle for his character but I wish the writers had broken the wheel. The entire ending was a letdown after a ten-year and eight-season build-up and Jon's ending was the most disappointing for me since he deserved so much more. #JusticeForJon
  8. There were certain deaths in episode 5, Season 8 of 'Game of Thrones' that didn't make much sense to us, to be honest. For instance, after so many theories spiralling out of control over Cersei's death, she eventually died when the Red Keep structure fell on her and Jaime. Which is a little problematic because you don't build a character arc with so much tenacity and make it fall flat on its face (quite literally) towards the end. © HBO Although both of them were shown holding each other and dying, some ardent fans feel Jaime Lannister might be alive, still and will come back in the last episode. The fan that made this prediction, backed it up with some logical evidence and believe it or not, it really does make sense. © HBO A user on Tumblr, 'WeedsAreFlowersToo', put together a pretty compelling case about how the 'Kingslayer' could still be alive. She was rather sad about his death at first but the more she delved into facts, the more sense it made to us. First off, she said, none of the cast members really wrote a 'goodbye piece' for Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, aka Ser Jaime Lannister. If you check out Instagram posts from the cast members of GoT, you will see each one of them has written a beautiful eulogy of sorts for the characters who've died, especially the ones they've worked with closely. But there was nothing for Nikolaj, from anyone. Especially Cersei, who has spent a maximum amount of screen-time with him. Even Nik didn't acknowledge the death of his character, someone he's played, for the past 8 years of his life! Here's what the Tumblr user said: "Why isn't ANYONE acknowledging that Jaime Lannister just died??? Why is nobody in the cast thanking Nik for his performance? Why did Pilou (Euron Greyjoy) and Lena's (Cersei Lannister) insta post not say anything about Jaime dying? Why isn't Nik saying anything about what he thinks of the scene? Why did he make a post saying goodbye to Lena, and not to the character he played for 8 years? Why is there no talk of Jaime's death in the game revealed?" Right? Makes a little bit of sense doesn't it. That's not all though. Here's Nik's post after the 5th episode: View this post on Instagram The best, sweetest most wonderful sister from another mother @iamlenaheadey . That was a fun decade ð A post shared by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (@nikolajwilliamcw) on May 13, 2019 at 4:34pm PDT He just goes on to say Cersei was the sweetest sister from another mother and nothing else. Here's Lena's post for Jaime. No goodbye whatsoever! View this post on Instagram When @nikolajwilliamcw and I wore jellyfish ... I fucking love you ya big weirdo ðððð A post shared by Lena Headey (@iamlenaheadey) on May 13, 2019 at 11:33pm PDT This is Lena's post for Nathalia aka Missandei, when she dies in the show: View this post on Instagram Beautiful @nathalieemmanuel You represented hope and true strength. I didn't like that day up there ð¥°ð¥°ð¥°ð¥°ð¥° A post shared by Lena Headey (@iamlenaheadey) on May 13, 2019 at 11:23pm PDT See the difference? Alright, not convinced? The user's next piece of evidence has something to do with a writer from Entertainment Weekly. James Hibberd has been doing exit interviews with most cast members who've died in Season 8 of the show. He did one with Rory McCann aka The Hound and one with Lena Headey, aka Cersei Lannister. When someone asked about an exit interview with Nikolaj, here's what he had to say: Thanks! Holding that one for a bit... — James Hibberd (@JamesHibberd) 14 May 2019 That's rather strange. Why has he kept supposed dead Jaime's interview on hold? "Apparently James Hibberd [the EW editor] also said there was a character he was surprised to see alive in episode 6. I don't think there is any other character at this point that we would be shocked to see alive except Jaime. Prove me wrong." WeedsAreFlowersToo added. She also pointed out another interesting fact. Gwendoline Christie, the actress who plays Brienne of Tarth, didn't say anything when Jaime died, anywhere on social media, which is weird because they've had some rather intense scenes together since Season 3! She did put a throwback picture of him on Instagram, but didn't write anything about his death, or bid him adieu! View this post on Instagram HAPPIER TIMES. 2014. @nikolajwilliamcw ðâï¸ @gameofthrones A post shared by Gwendoline Christie (@gwendolineuniverse) on May 6, 2019 at 2:28pm PDT Either, we're absolutely desperate for an important character to come back alive and give us closure for all that writing gone bad or all these facts really do amount to something interesting. But if he does come back, it'll be the most crazy and absurd character revival ever. Imagine walking back into the show with a couple of stab wounds and an entire structure falling on you! Can't wait to see how it unfolds on 20th May, 2019!

  10. Imagine losing anything in the Pacific Ocean! Most of us would write it off and forget about the item we lost. That's what happened to surfer Robert Bainter when he lost his Apple Watch while body surfing a large wave. He picked up his arm and his Apple Watch was missing. © YouTube Bainter surfs at Huntington Beach, California and was able to reunite with his lost Apple Watch six months later. The shocking thing about his discovery was that the Apple Watch was still working even after being lost at sea for six months. © Pexels Robert Bainter told KTLA 5 TV “This thing has been my good luck charm, I would use it quite often to show the surf and how fast you were going. It would even show you where you were on the beach.” Bainter used Apple's Find My iPhone app to find his Apple Watch every time he visited the same beach. However, he could not find it in time and six months had passed. He got an unlikely call from a man who said he had found his watch. It was found almost 5 KMs away from where he originally lost the Apple Watch. © Pexels The Apple Watch was able to survive deep undersea for six months however prolonged exposure to salt water made the screen a bit hazy. The Apple Watch comes with a Water Lock mode which basically seals up all the ports to avoid entry of water. It can only be disabled by scrolling on the dial as it ejects any excess water in the ports. It is possible that when Bainter's Apple Watch was lost at sea, the mode might have been turned on when he was surfing. *Images for representation purposes only. Source: KTLA 5 TV
  11. The unthinkable yet somehow predictable thing has happened. Yes, my friends, 'Avengers: Endgame', the movie that we have been waiting for since forever, has unfortunately been leaked on Tamilrockers before its release. Although, I am pretty sure Marvel fans like me are not going to go anywhere near that site. Also, given that over a million people have already booked their tickets, this leak should not really be a problem for Marvel. What concerns me now is the heightened opportunities for possible spoilers, given that we are surrounded by miserable people, so just steer clear of social media till Friday. 'Avengers: Endgame' releases this Friday.
  12. We're almost at the finish line. 'Avengers: Endgame' is so close and yet so far. The movie will be the final movie, the culmination of 11 years and 22 movies, and I don't even need to tell anyone how emotional it is to possibly saying goodbye to a lot of characters. The actors themselves have come a long way and have actually made what Marvel Cinematic Universe is today. So, as a way of remembering all the movies and showing some more appreciation for Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johannson, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner, here are all the OG Avengers through the years, from their first Marvel premiere to probably their last. 13. Salman Khan is known for his mega-blockbuster films that vary across the board when it comes to storylines or character sketches. However, there are a few striking elements in every 'Bhai' movie that are recurrent and feature in almost all of his films. (c) T-Series The trailer for Salman's upcoming film 'Bharat' was released yesterday and amidst all the speculation about the plot and rising action of the film, we noticed that it basically seemed like a mix of Salman Khan's top 5 movies in recent times, and et voila, you have 'Bharat' served with a garnishing of patriotism to cash-in on the dominant sentiment of the audience at this point of time. Listed below are a few tropes that we can expect to see in 'Bharat' which are just like 5 of Salman's top movies: 1. A Series Of Action-Packed Sequences (c) T-Series Take any of his top films in recent years, lots of senseless action that often forgoes all understanding of science and physics, is vital to every Bhai movie. Be it all the action-packed sequences in 'Tiger Zinda Hai' or 'Kick' there's no denying that action sells it big for Salman movies. We saw similar glimpses in the trailer of 'Bharat' when Salman is seen ploughing the 'bad boys'. 2. Glitzy Item Song (c) T-Series Think of Fevicol Se in 'Dabangg 2' or Swag Se Swagat in 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 99 per cent of Bhai movies will feature an item number one way or another. Somehow, people have come to associate them to every Salman Khan movie and 'Bharat' seems to promise something along the same lines with the passing glimpse of Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi's moves in the trailer. 3. Hero Who Saves The Day (c) T-Series It's exactly how every Bhai movie unravels. Regardless of all the struggles and setbacks along the way, Salman's character always manages to save the day and comes out a hero. The very beginning of the 'Bharat' trailer hints at this very possibility. Bharat will save the day and uphold the meaning of his name. 4. Larger Than Life Portrayals (c) T-Series We don't think anyone can cross-question us on this one. Be it 'Race 3' or 'Kick' or 'Dabangg', every character Salman portrays bears an air of being larger than life. A sort of grandeur comes with Bhai's characters and they make him seem almost aspirational, and Bharat seems no different. 5. The Love-Hate Relationships (c) T-Series Another recurring trope in Bhai movies is love-hate relationships that add the right amount of spice required to lure the audience. The hits and misses with the love interest, the wooing and anguish, Bhai's films have got it all. Salman and Katrina's journey in 'Bharat' seems to have the same elements in all probability. 6. The Emotional Baggage (c) T-Series Be it in 'Dabangg' or 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', most of Salman's characters have a tragic backstory and their emotional baggage helps to add fuel to the fire that burns in their hearts. 'Bharat' which is set against the backdrop of partition is giving us a similar feeling. 7. The Underdog's Uprising (c) T-Series But of course, with all that emotional baggage, you might expect someone to buckle and give up. But not Bhai. He (or rather his characters) are simply not wired that way. They will always rise from the ashes, just like Bharat does and come to fulfil every dream they hold in their hearts. 8. The Hook Step (c) T-Series Fans still haven't gotten over Salman's towel hook step in the song Jawani Phir Na Aaye from 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', while Hud Hud Dabangg and Swag Se Swagat are the more recent ones to stick. We are sure fans can expect to have one such hook step from 'Bharat' took. 9. A Hero-Worthy Dialogue (c) T-Series Remember “Mujhpe ek ehsaan karna ke mujhse koi ehsaan matt karna” from 'Bodyguard', or “Ek baar jo maine commitment ka di, uske baad tho main khud ki bhi nahin sunta” from 'Wanted'? These dialogues became almost as famous as these films themselves! Even the trailer for 'Bharat' opens with such dialogues - “Jitne safed baal mere sir or daadi mein hain, usse kayi zyada rangeen meri zindagi rahi hai” or “Jawani humari ekdum jaaneman thi”.
  14. We keep reviewing smartphones almost every week but sometimes, a new tablet comes along that gets us excited. The iPad Pro is one of our favourite gadgets of 2018 and in fact, we typed this very review on it. Having said that, not everyone needs such a powerful and big screened tablet; especially in India where more than half the urban population is on the move. Apple recently launched the new iPad Mini 5 and we got our hands on the small tablet to see what all it can do. We've used Android tablets in the past but none of them even come to close Apple's offering when it comes to performance. Our experience has largely been “meh.” Android tablets are often powered by less powerful chipsets or do not offer a great screen for content viewing. Some of them lack proper software updates or outright don't work as intended. Having said that, there are a few Samsung tablets we love but Apple's iPad series is where the buck stops. So, here's our review of the new iPad Mini and what we think about the new tablet. Design & Display © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The New iPad Mini 5 doesn't look too different from its predecessor as it looks nearly identical from the iPad 4 from 2015. It's got the same massive bezels, a 7.9-inch Retina screen and a new back design similar to the iPad Pro from 2017. We would have loved to see an almost all-screen design like on the iPad Pro from last year and give it the modern aesthetic we all expected. The display, on the other hand, has slight upgrades as it now supports True Tone technology, has a 25 per cent higher colour gamut and is 25 per cent brighter. The iPad Mini has a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels but does not have ProMotion features like the iPad Pro where it can adjust the refresh rate automatically depending on what you are doing. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The iPad Mini comes with stereo speakers at the bottom which are loud enough for watching movies or TV shows. Having said that, if you want more privacy or don't want to disturb the people around you, the iPad Mini 5 comes with a 3.55 mm headphone jack. You can even pair the new iPad Mini with AirPods seamlessly which is a first for the iPad Mini. The smaller iPad design is probably the star attraction here as it fits in the palm of your hand perfectly. The iPad Mini's size is probably the one feature that makes it the most versatile gadget from Apple's entire portfolio. The screen is large enough to enjoy video content, gaming and is perfect to even use it as an e-book reader. The small sizes iPad Mini is a favourite amongst users for these various reasons. However, with new services like Apple Arcade and Apple TV Plus on the horizon, you really want to invest in an iPad that can handle everything you throw at it. We shall talk about it more in the performance section in detail and what a powerful chipset can imply for the future of iPads. Performance The iPad Mini 5 is powered by an A12 Bionic chip with Neural Engine that amps up the performance with faster computing power and graphics processing over the A8 chip. This means that the iPad Mini 5 also supports augmented reality features which come in handy when you want to do something educational or measure objects. You can even play AR games such as Angry Birds with other iOS devices that support AR. The iPad Mini comes in two models with 64GB or 256 GB of internal storage. Depending on your needs, you can get the appropriate storage variant. The battery life on the iPad Mini 5 also works as advertised. During our testing, the iPad Mini 5 managed to last over 10 hours with constant use. We used the iPad mini to watch TV shows, play games like Fortnite and a lot of internet browsing. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The iPad Mini 5 comes with iOS 12 out of the box and some new features that were missing in the previous generation. For starters, you can now run two apps at once in either the Slide Over or Split View. IOS 12 also works in tandem with the A12 Bionic processor to offer optimum performance which was quite evident when we were gaming. The iPad Mini 5 also now supports the first generation Apple Pencil which is a great new addition for people who like to take notes, sign documents or draw the go. The iPad Mini 5 is now officially a full-fledged tablet that has a place of its own in Apple's portfolio. The A12 Bionic Processor is already a powerful processor that also powers the iPhone XS and XS Max. The A12 is the fastest processor in the market right now and has some major advantages when it comes to the device's future. The A12 Bionic processor is also very powerful when it comes to running games and the iPad Mini 5 will be vital for Apple Arcade when it launches. For example, the A12 Bionic chip can give consoles like the Nintendo Switch a run for its money. Being a highly portable device, the iPad Mini is essential for capturing those markets. The A12 can already run some console level games; at least the ones you see on Nintendo Switch. The sheer size on the iPad Mini will offer a better gaming experience than any smartphone or even the Nintendo Switch. The display quality, a powerful chipset and a massive library of games all work in favour of the iPad Mini. Cameras The iPad Mini does come with cameras on both the front and the back but we wouldn't use them for taking proper images. We would recommend you use the smartphone in your pocket as it would be able to deliver a better image. Having said that, the iPad Mini does have an 8-megapixel, f/2.4 camera at the back that can take good enough pictures. You can use the iPad Mini 5 to scan documents, take pictures of daily objects etc. The iPad Mini 5 has a 7-megapixel selfie camera but does not have support for portrait selfies, unlike the iPad Pro. However, the front camera is awesome for making video FaceTime calls and take general selfies. The Final Say © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The iPad Mini 5 is probably the only tablet that caters for people who are looking for performance and portability. The small tablet market right now is not up to the mark as Android-based tablets are often outfitted with weak processors and mediocre screens. The iPad Mini 5 easily fills that gap and offers the full iOS experience you've come to expect from Apple devices. The iPad Mini 5 has a great display and offers new augmented reality features never seen on an iPad Mini before. With services like Apple Arcade on the horizon, the iPad Mini 5 is the right investment right now. It's Apple's most versatile device that offers everything from productivity to entertainment. The iPad Mini 5 retails in India for Rs 34,900 (Cellular) and Rs 45,900 (Wi-Fi + Cellular) which could be considered expensive for India but the advantages it offers offsets the cost entirely.
  15. Despite the changing landscape of torrents, it's not really all that difficult to access torrent websites. One can easily access any of these sites by following a couple of simple steps. However, it's worth pointing out that not all of your old favourite sites are still working. Don't worry, though. We scavenged the internet to find out the best torrent sites you can access today to download whatever it is that you want--be it movies, TV Shows, software, and more. So let's check them out. The Pirate Bay © MensXP “Once a classic, always a classic”. Yes, that's exactly what The Pirate Bay is all about. This particular website has been in existence for as long as torrents have existed, and it's still one of the most popular and reliable sites around. The Pirate Bay has a huge selection of torrents ranging from movies, tv shows, apps, and more. It also has a fairly simple user interface, which hasn't really changed in years. Notably, the Pirate Bay also has the most popular torrent tracker in the world, which by itself a huge reason behind the success of this site. Visit The Pirate Bay RARBG © MensXP This one's for movie enthusiasts out there who are on the lookout for all the latest movies. It also has other content like TV shows, but RARBG is one site which you can always rely on for movies. Much like the other torrent sites, RARBG comes with a simple and easy-to-use interface with relevant info on the main page. The download page for each file also comes with all the useful bit of information like the number of seeders, leechers, etc., making it easier to find the right info and do exactly what you need. RARBG is constantly updated with new additions, and is known to be quite a popular destination for people wanting to download the new episodes of Game of Thrones. Visit RARBG 1337X © MensXP 1377X is yet another torrent site that's been around for a long time. But it wasn't until the demise of KAT and ExtraTorrent that this website gained some spotlight. The content on 1337X gets updated frequently, and all the info is displayed on a clean-looking interface. That's part of the reason why 1337X gained a lot of traction over the years. It's also one of the very few sites with obscure torrents, so there are more chances of finding the torrents that you're after without the hassle of going through a lot of searching. 1337X is an excellent choice for downloading content like movies, TV shows, games, etc. Also, the additional helpful browsing features like Oscar nominations, new episodes, and more are just an added advantage. Visit 1337X. YTS © MensXP YTS is one site that focuses exclusively on movies. It's also one of the cleanest-looking torrent site that you'll find on the internet. Seriously, it's almost comparable to the streaming sites out there. It looks that good. Besides the advantage of its visual appearance, one of the biggest advantages of using YTS is that it goes easy on the bandwidth. The movies are offered in the smallest size possible, which means it's perfect for users in countries like, say, India, where bandwidth is often a pain point. Visit YTS NYAA © MensXP NYAA.si is your one-stop destination for anime. It's essentially a resurrection of the popular anime site NYSAA, and it has a very similar interface. The site lists out all the available anime episodes that are available to download right in the homepage, along with some other useful information like the number of seeders and leechers. Visit NYAA
  16. 'Say no to spoilers' – it's not a hard concept to understand. But, some people have a hard time grasping this and they don't realize how much the spoilers of a movie or a TV show can affect someone, especially if they have been waiting for a really long time to watch it. The entire spoiler debate going on right now is obviously because of 'Avengers: Endgame' - only 9 days to go! - and I still can't believe there are some sadistic people who would spoil things for others. There are so many loyal fans and followers of the Marvel Cinematic Universe who want to and who deserve to watch the biggest Marvel movie yet without any interference. But, it can get so out of hand that the Russo Brothers had to come out and release another PSA just to plead with people. #DontSpoilTheEndgame pic.twitter.com/YZhbrwcijJ — Russo Brothers (@Russo_Brothers) April 16, 2019 Yes, I hate the giant purple grape and his stupid narrow way of thinking, but for once we should listen to him when he demands our silence. 17. Even though Apple may have faced slower sales for the latest iPhones, Apple has still managed to keep its lead in the premium smartphone segment in 2018. A new survey reveals that Apple still has a 51% market share of the premium smartphone segment. © YouTube Another impressive thing that comes from the survey is the inclusion of OnePlus in the list. For the first time in OnePlus' history, the smartphone is among the top five premium smartphone brands. The company managed to record the highest-ever shipments for the company in the fourth quarter of 2018. © Reuters The report comes from Counterpoint Research, one of the more reliable sources of market research. The report points out that Apple still had a significant lead over other companies in the list such as Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo and Huawei. Samsung is currently at the second spot for having a 22 per cent of shipments while Huawei had a 10 per cent in the same quarter. The blog post from Counterpoint Research said, “an indication of the increasing competition in the segment is highlighted by the fact that close to 40 OEMs now compete in the premium segment globally. Of these, the top five players account for almost 90 per cent of shipments. The premium segment contributed to one-fourth (22 per cent) of the global smartphone shipments in 2018.” © Pexels The premium smartphone segment is the faster streaming growing segment and Apple is still on top of the list with a considerable margin. The report goes on to say that buyers are content with paying more for a premium device. Researchers expect the premium smartphone segment to grow even more, thanks to foldable smartphones and the eventual launch of 5G services and smartphones.
  18. Season 8 of 'Game of Thrones' premiered today and boy, oh boy, has it given new light to a particular theory that we've been speculating for so long. Cersei Lannister was introduced to us as a cruel, conniving Queen who was willing to cross any lines when it came to protecting her kids and lover/ twin brother Jaime. We've hated her initially and then we grew to admire her for her unpredictable moves that would challenge the whole sequence of events (remember the burning of the Sept?) all orchestrated seamlessly. A major motivation and central to her arc is the Prophecy that Cersei was made acquainted to as a little girl. © HBO While going deep into the woods around Casterly Rock, Cersei stumbled upon an old woman called Maggy the Frog, who turned out to be a powerful fortune teller. Cersei asked Maggy three questions about her future, however, the answers weren't hopeful. The first said that she wouldn't marry a Prince, but a King. The second said that she would be cast down by a younger and a more beautiful queen who would take all that she held dear. Further, Maggy told Cersei that the king would have 20 children, but that Cersei would only have three, and “gold will be their crowns, and gold their shrouds.” Now, of all the three predictions, Margaery Tyrell did manage to take away most of what Cersei held dear to her including her son, Tommen but besides these three predictions, in 'A Feast for Crows', the fourth book in the series, Maggy reveals to Cersei one final part of the prophecy: “The valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale throat and choke the life from you.” Now, here the valonqar translates to a younger brother. For Cersei, this has always been Tyrion as someone who could possibly try to kill her. © HBO However, if you notice, there is this other 'younger brother' in Cersei's life. Yes, we're talking about Jaime Lannister. © HBO After watching the first episode, this prediction could come to life, because Cersei has commissioned Bron to assassin Jamie. If this fails, Jamie could possibly come after Cersei because he's clearly repulsed by Cersei's rule, which is like the Mad King in more ways than one. To begin with, Cersei made Tyrion believe at the end of the seventh season that she would send the Iron Fleet to help fight The Army Of the Undead. This obviously, was a lie which Tyrion failed to see through for a change. She couldn't care less about the White Walkers or the impending doom as long as she could save herself from it. In the fifth episode of season 7, Cersei told Jaime that she was pregnant. Now, in the premiere of season 8, she consummated her alliance with Euron Greyjoy because the only way she could keep the Iron Fleet and have her way around with it was if she would sleep with Euron which, to her seemed a small price to pay. © HBO Now, Euron telling Cersei “I'm going to put a prince into your belly” is practically impossible — if, indeed, Cersei is still pregnant. It's unclear, however, if that's the case. If you recall, Cersei nixed drinking last season when she realized that she was pregnant. But in today's episode, she was seen sipping a glass of wine after sleeping with Euron. While the Westerosi doctors probably aren't warning Cersei against fetal alcohol syndrome, the change could signal a change in Cersei's status. Regardless of whether Cersei is pregnant or not, she's likely to lose her baby at some point to that effect taking into account how things are moving. But the question is if a majority of the theory has come to pass, as we are still waiting to see who will be the vanquisher of Cersei. It could still be Tyrion, if Jaime ends up getting executed or killed before or during the battle of Winterfell. It could also be Euron Greyjoy. Technically he is the younger brother of Balon Greyjoy and passes the criterion of a valonqar if he realizes that his relationship with Cersei is not based on trust and she could betray him any time.
  19. Summers have already begun and I am assuming that in a few weeks from now, you would be planning your summer holidays, just like every other year. But unlike every year, you don't really have to come back from your holidays after gaining pounds of fat on your belly. Wherever you are heading this summer, the tips that I am going to share with you in this article are going to help you in maintaining your weight as well as heath during your vacation: 1. Practice Portion Control Credit - Getty Images I know that it's impossible to stay on a diet while you are on a vacation. And frankly speaking, you shouldn't really be too rigid while you are on a full-fledged vacation with your closed ones. So while you would be losing track of your diet, what you can at least do is to practice some portion control. Now, this won't really stop the damage but at least it will lower the degree of the damage. The problem begins when you binge-eat food items that were not ideally a part of your diet. Thus, while it's good to indulge yourself in some new and tasty food items that come your way during vacations, keep in mind that you should not binge-eat them. 2. Keep Your Protein Intake In Check Credit - Getty Images Majority of the food items that you consume while travelling or during vacations are full of calories. Generally, these calories come from carbs. Thus, it is almost sure that your carb intake is going to be sufficient during vacation. It is your protein intake that you will have to take off. Try to include a portion of protein in all the meals of the day whenever possible. Adding food source that contains protein will increase its satiety factor and thus you won't be feeling hungry too soon. This will help you to save yourself from overeating. 3. Have Foods High In Fibre Credit - Getty Images Just like protein, fibre intake also goes for a toss while you are out on a vacation. Thus, have foods that will add to the fibre intake for the day as well. So while you are having lunch outside and ordering your favourite dish, just add on a portion of vegetables or salad along with that. This will add on to the fibre content of your meal and thus also increase the satiety factor. 4. Limit Alcohol And Other Drinks Credit - Getty Images Though it's difficult to stay away from the temptation of alcohol while you are on a beach holiday, I would still suggest keeping your alcohol intake in check. Alcohol and other sugary drinks like flavoured juices and colas just add on to the calories and do not provide any kind of nutrition. Make sure you are not consuming too much of any of these. 5. Stay Physically Active Credit - Getty Images When you feel things are going a little haywire in terms of maintaining a good diet, try to compensate it with staying a little more active. Performing some form of cardio is one such move that you can make. You can also indulge in some outdoor sports activity like cricket and badminton along with your friends to enjoy the company and burn some calories. I am not saying that this will compensate poor nutrition entirely but at least it may help with the damage control.
  20. AirPods is now more of a cultural phenomenon than any other product from Apple's portfolio. It was Apple's solution for removing the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 and since then, it has taken the world with storm. Apple has now offered a new version of the AirPods that offers a lot of features which it already did along with a few incremental upgrades. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The new AirPods offer more talk time and have a new H1 Chip that enables quicker Siri access. It comes with a wireless charging case that can be charged using any Qi-wireless charger. The new updates may not be enough of a reason to upgrade if you already own AirPods, but the new iteration still holds the throne of wireless earbuds. Setting It Up Is Easy And Flawless © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The one feature I love the most on the AirPods is the easy setup process that nobody has been able to match up to so far. Each time you open the case, the AirPods automatically connect to your iPhone. Being an integral part of Apple's ecosystem, the AirPods also automatically pair with other Apple devices, thanks to iCloud. You can easily switch between devices without the need of setting it up for each said device. It works with the iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and even Android smartphones (without the support of easy setup). When pairing the AirPods with other Apple devices, you don't need to press a button or wait for it to be discovered. It just connects and works. So, What's The Difference? © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Visually, not much has changed on the new AirPods apart from the new wireless charging case. It now has an LED light on the front instead of inside the case. The case can be charged via a lightning cable or wirelessly using a Qi charging pad. The case has the same amount of battery reserve as the previous case i.e. it offers up to 24 hours of total battery life. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Like before, if you take one of the earbuds, the auto-pause feature kicks in, however, it only works with Apple devices. As for usability, the new AirPods offer the same controls as the previous generation where you can assign actions like double tap to skip a track on any of the earbuds. You can play/pause with a single tap and also fire up Siri by saying “Hey Siri.” Instead of giving volume controls on the AirPods, you can now ask Siri to turn down/up the volume. You simply have to say “Hey Siri, turn it down” and Siri will do the rest for you. We prefer this feature over manual controls as it prevents accidental touches which in turn would either pause the music or skip the track. What Does The H1 Chip Do? © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Apple H1 chip is one of the upgrades on the new AirPods that enable users to bring up Siri. The new chip can do a lot more such as extend the call time by 50 per cent. The chip also enables lower gaming lag and offers a faster connection for phone calls. The chip also improves call quality, especially in windy conditions. The H1 chip is capable of eliminated distortion caused by winds which makes your voice clearer. We tried this feature on a few phone calls sitting right under a speedy fan and no one heard any breeze on the other end of the call. Sound Quality © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Even though Apple says that there is no difference in sound quality, we felt that the sound on the new AirPods was much crisper. Maybe our previous AirPods began to age and we noticed the stark difference in sound quality, however, it's still among the best hearing wireless earbuds. Of course, there is some sound leakage simply because of the design of the earbuds. We would have preferred a better fit on the new AirPods which in turn would also prevent sound leakage. In terms of sound, the new AirPods have warmer undertones with a slight emphasis on bass. AirPods are best used for listening to track with vocals as the midrange and treble are clean and balanced. The overall sound does lack definition, however, that's due to the sound leakage we mentioned before. The overall sound may not please audiophiles, but the AirPods 2 is a matter of convenience over performance. For better sounding earbuds, we would recommend you something from Senheisser but it lacks all the bells and whistles such as good battery life, ease of connectivity and accessibility. The Final Say If you're already deeply embedded in the Apple Ecosystem, the new AirPods are your best bet at convenient audio. It offers old and new tech for Rs 18,900 and will be available to buy in India soon. The new AirPods, in our opinion, is still the king of wireless earbuds as it offers balanced features such as good battery life, respectable performance and decent sound. The competition may be getting harder but it's still hard to beat the AirPod's convenience and accessibility. The Galaxy Buds are a strong contender for the new AirPods and we will compare them soon to let you know which one is better.
  21. The Captain America-Iron Man reunion was one of the biggest things every Marvel fan was waiting for in 'Avengers: Infinity War' but as we know, it never happened. Then, this particular meeting became the main focus of one of the 'special videos' from 'Avengers: Endgame' and everyone is still very emotional about it. This is all because of the events of 'Captain America: Civil War', of course. They both love each other but a disagreement over the Sokovia accords and obviously a brainwashed Bucky killing Tony's parents years ago tore them apart. In that last fight scene from the movie, the last time they both actually saw each other, Tony basically took away Cap's shield because “he didn't deserve it”. Well, even after so many years and Cap even calling Tony earth's best defender, Tony is not yet ready to give back the shield. The entire cast is doing the press tour for 'Endgame' right now and it's hilarious because it's just all of them having fun together, probably for the last time. RDJ has been very active on Instagram, sharing videos with all his Marvel BFFs and it's so pure. But, since it's RDJ and he has the best bromance with Chris Evans, he of course had to throw some shade. View this post on Instagram #flashback #day1 @avengers #press #tour #2019 Sorry Cap! 22. Drones, the gadget denied to Indian enthusiasts by the DGCA, unless you are a wedding planner or photographer, is a heated topic in the country. While we may be debating the commercial use of drones in India, people in Australia can now get coffee and food delivered to them by our flying friends. © Pexels The company that is making the service a possibility is called “Wing” owned by Google's parent company Alphabet. The company has now begun delivering items to customers just outside Canberra, Australia's capital. The company has already tested the service 3,00 times in the past 18 months and is now ready to roll the service out for “eligible homes.” The service will be available in the outskirts of Canberra, namely in suburbs of Franklin, Palmerston and Crace. The company is already adding new customers and is expected to grow that number in the coming weeks and months. The company will start delivering over the counter items such as coffee, wraps, burritos and other smaller products. © Wing The key to the company's success is partnering with local businesses and merchants who want to get their products delivered to customers. The service is currently not at scale due to the nature of the project, however, it's a great step towards reducing emissions from traditional delivery methods. © Pexels Of course, we won't get to see something like this in India as we need special permission from DGCA to just own a drone or fly them in a specific area. In fact, if you want to know the precise rules of flying a drone in India, you can read our guide here. Until then, enjoy them drones at a nearby Delhi wedding where it showers you with rose petals!
  23. “Work hard in silence. Let your success be your noise,” a statement once given by Frank Ocean is completely justified by the English all-rounder, Sam Curran. As a budding cricketer in his school days, Curran had an opportunity to meet his idol Chris Gayle, and now, when he is 20-years-old, he has earned his opportunity to share the dressing room with the Gayle Storm. Recently, Gayle shared a collage of two pictures (then and now) in which on one side, he is seen posing with a young Curran dressed in his school uniform, and on the other, on the right, the latest photo with the 20-year-old all-rounder in his Kings XI Punjab jersey. All I can say is remember what got you where you at today. I think in the pic I'm looking young but you're looking younger,” Gayle wrote. Even Curran replied saying: “Thank you Legend @chrisgayle333 excited for the season ahead playing and learning from you.” Talking of form, both batsmen have been in sublime form in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL). On one hand, where Gayle has consistently been providing a good start to KXIP, Curran on the other, has been crowned as the youngest player ever to take a hat-trick in the league. We hope we see the youngster and his idol play together in the next match when the team goes face to face with the defending kings of the IPL trophy, Chennai Super Kings, on 6th April.

One cannot speak about their charitable acts because it loses its purpose. I have been privileged to be able to use my status as a public personality to champion causes close to my heart. I actively participate with the causes of women empowerment, rehabilitation of the underprivileged and basic human rights.” the actor added in his speech. "I actively participate with the causes of women empowerment, rehabilitation of the underprivileged and basic human rights. I firmly believe that I have to give back to the world that has given me so much. I am humbled with this honorary doctorate bestowed upon me and would like to thank everyone involved for choosing me," he mentioned in his speech. © Twitter Shah Rukh was also honoured with the Crystal Award for his work towards acid attack survivors, at the World Economic Forum 2018, in Davos. We believe every celebrity should do their bit towards society and we have amidst us an excellent example of the same!
  25. It's a dream for all gamers to own as many games as possible, so that you'd never run out of games to play. But there's a fine line between collecting and hoarding, and apparently, a Texas man named Antonio Monteiro is lost in between. Last week, Antonio earned the Guinness World Record for having the largest video game collection in the world. How many does he own? 20,139 to be precise as of March 28. Yes, that's just insane. © Guinness World Records Monteiro has been collecting games since he was a child, and he apparently owns games for second to eighth generation consoles. Of course, he also owns 100-plus devices on which he plays all these games. Owning that many devices make sense considering the fact that he literally has huge walls stocked with games. You can check out the video here - The wall of games, as you can see, includes complete collections for consoles like Sony's PS2. the Nintendo Wii, Sega Dreamcast, and more. His first ever game was a copy of 'Golden Axe' for Sega Genesis, which his parents gave him as a gift. His favourite game, however, is 'Super Castlevania IV' for Nintendo SNES, and he calls it a masterpiece.
