  1. Salman Khan is known for his mega-blockbuster films that vary across the board when it comes to storylines or character sketches. However, there are a few striking elements in every 'Bhai' movie that are recurrent and feature in almost all of his films. (c) T-Series The trailer for Salman's upcoming film 'Bharat' was released yesterday and amidst all the speculation about the plot and rising action of the film, we noticed that it basically seemed like a mix of Salman Khan's top 5 movies in recent times, and et voila, you have 'Bharat' served with a garnishing of patriotism to cash-in on the dominant sentiment of the audience at this point of time. Listed below are a few tropes that we can expect to see in 'Bharat' which are just like 5 of Salman's top movies: 1. A Series Of Action-Packed Sequences (c) T-Series Take any of his top films in recent years, lots of senseless action that often forgoes all understanding of science and physics, is vital to every Bhai movie. Be it all the action-packed sequences in 'Tiger Zinda Hai' or 'Kick' there's no denying that action sells it big for Salman movies. We saw similar glimpses in the trailer of 'Bharat' when Salman is seen ploughing the 'bad boys'. 2. Glitzy Item Song (c) T-Series Think of Fevicol Se in 'Dabangg 2' or Swag Se Swagat in 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 99 per cent of Bhai movies will feature an item number one way or another. Somehow, people have come to associate them to every Salman Khan movie and 'Bharat' seems to promise something along the same lines with the passing glimpse of Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi's moves in the trailer. 3. Hero Who Saves The Day (c) T-Series It's exactly how every Bhai movie unravels. Regardless of all the struggles and setbacks along the way, Salman's character always manages to save the day and comes out a hero. The very beginning of the 'Bharat' trailer hints at this very possibility. Bharat will save the day and uphold the meaning of his name. 4. Larger Than Life Portrayals (c) T-Series We don't think anyone can cross-question us on this one. Be it 'Race 3' or 'Kick' or 'Dabangg', every character Salman portrays bears an air of being larger than life. A sort of grandeur comes with Bhai's characters and they make him seem almost aspirational, and Bharat seems no different. 5. The Love-Hate Relationships (c) T-Series Another recurring trope in Bhai movies is love-hate relationships that add the right amount of spice required to lure the audience. The hits and misses with the love interest, the wooing and anguish, Bhai's films have got it all. Salman and Katrina's journey in 'Bharat' seems to have the same elements in all probability. 6. The Emotional Baggage (c) T-Series Be it in 'Dabangg' or 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', most of Salman's characters have a tragic backstory and their emotional baggage helps to add fuel to the fire that burns in their hearts. 'Bharat' which is set against the backdrop of partition is giving us a similar feeling. 7. The Underdog's Uprising (c) T-Series But of course, with all that emotional baggage, you might expect someone to buckle and give up. But not Bhai. He (or rather his characters) are simply not wired that way. They will always rise from the ashes, just like Bharat does and come to fulfil every dream they hold in their hearts. 8. The Hook Step (c) T-Series Fans still haven't gotten over Salman's towel hook step in the song Jawani Phir Na Aaye from 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', while Hud Hud Dabangg and Swag Se Swagat are the more recent ones to stick. We are sure fans can expect to have one such hook step from 'Bharat' took. 9. A Hero-Worthy Dialogue (c) T-Series Remember “Mujhpe ek ehsaan karna ke mujhse koi ehsaan matt karna” from 'Bodyguard', or “Ek baar jo maine commitment ka di, uske baad tho main khud ki bhi nahin sunta” from 'Wanted'? These dialogues became almost as famous as these films themselves! Even the trailer for 'Bharat' opens with such dialogues - “Jitne safed baal mere sir or daadi mein hain, usse kayi zyada rangeen meri zindagi rahi hai” or “Jawani humari ekdum jaaneman thi”.
  2. We keep reviewing smartphones almost every week but sometimes, a new tablet comes along that gets us excited. The iPad Pro is one of our favourite gadgets of 2018 and in fact, we typed this very review on it. Having said that, not everyone needs such a powerful and big screened tablet; especially in India where more than half the urban population is on the move. Apple recently launched the new iPad Mini 5 and we got our hands on the small tablet to see what all it can do. We've used Android tablets in the past but none of them even come to close Apple's offering when it comes to performance. Our experience has largely been “meh.” Android tablets are often powered by less powerful chipsets or do not offer a great screen for content viewing. Some of them lack proper software updates or outright don't work as intended. Having said that, there are a few Samsung tablets we love but Apple's iPad series is where the buck stops. So, here's our review of the new iPad Mini and what we think about the new tablet. Design & Display © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The New iPad Mini 5 doesn't look too different from its predecessor as it looks nearly identical from the iPad 4 from 2015. It's got the same massive bezels, a 7.9-inch Retina screen and a new back design similar to the iPad Pro from 2017. We would have loved to see an almost all-screen design like on the iPad Pro from last year and give it the modern aesthetic we all expected. The display, on the other hand, has slight upgrades as it now supports True Tone technology, has a 25 per cent higher colour gamut and is 25 per cent brighter. The iPad Mini has a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels but does not have ProMotion features like the iPad Pro where it can adjust the refresh rate automatically depending on what you are doing. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The iPad Mini comes with stereo speakers at the bottom which are loud enough for watching movies or TV shows. Having said that, if you want more privacy or don't want to disturb the people around you, the iPad Mini 5 comes with a 3.55 mm headphone jack. You can even pair the new iPad Mini with AirPods seamlessly which is a first for the iPad Mini. The smaller iPad design is probably the star attraction here as it fits in the palm of your hand perfectly. The iPad Mini's size is probably the one feature that makes it the most versatile gadget from Apple's entire portfolio. The screen is large enough to enjoy video content, gaming and is perfect to even use it as an e-book reader. The small sizes iPad Mini is a favourite amongst users for these various reasons. However, with new services like Apple Arcade and Apple TV Plus on the horizon, you really want to invest in an iPad that can handle everything you throw at it. We shall talk about it more in the performance section in detail and what a powerful chipset can imply for the future of iPads. Performance The iPad Mini 5 is powered by an A12 Bionic chip with Neural Engine that amps up the performance with faster computing power and graphics processing over the A8 chip. This means that the iPad Mini 5 also supports augmented reality features which come in handy when you want to do something educational or measure objects. You can even play AR games such as Angry Birds with other iOS devices that support AR. The iPad Mini comes in two models with 64GB or 256 GB of internal storage. Depending on your needs, you can get the appropriate storage variant. The battery life on the iPad Mini 5 also works as advertised. During our testing, the iPad Mini 5 managed to last over 10 hours with constant use. We used the iPad mini to watch TV shows, play games like Fortnite and a lot of internet browsing. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The iPad Mini 5 comes with iOS 12 out of the box and some new features that were missing in the previous generation. For starters, you can now run two apps at once in either the Slide Over or Split View. IOS 12 also works in tandem with the A12 Bionic processor to offer optimum performance which was quite evident when we were gaming. The iPad Mini 5 also now supports the first generation Apple Pencil which is a great new addition for people who like to take notes, sign documents or draw the go. The iPad Mini 5 is now officially a full-fledged tablet that has a place of its own in Apple's portfolio. The A12 Bionic Processor is already a powerful processor that also powers the iPhone XS and XS Max. The A12 is the fastest processor in the market right now and has some major advantages when it comes to the device's future. The A12 Bionic processor is also very powerful when it comes to running games and the iPad Mini 5 will be vital for Apple Arcade when it launches. For example, the A12 Bionic chip can give consoles like the Nintendo Switch a run for its money. Being a highly portable device, the iPad Mini is essential for capturing those markets. The A12 can already run some console level games; at least the ones you see on Nintendo Switch. The sheer size on the iPad Mini will offer a better gaming experience than any smartphone or even the Nintendo Switch. The display quality, a powerful chipset and a massive library of games all work in favour of the iPad Mini. Cameras The iPad Mini does come with cameras on both the front and the back but we wouldn't use them for taking proper images. We would recommend you use the smartphone in your pocket as it would be able to deliver a better image. Having said that, the iPad Mini does have an 8-megapixel, f/2.4 camera at the back that can take good enough pictures. You can use the iPad Mini 5 to scan documents, take pictures of daily objects etc. The iPad Mini 5 has a 7-megapixel selfie camera but does not have support for portrait selfies, unlike the iPad Pro. However, the front camera is awesome for making video FaceTime calls and take general selfies. The Final Say © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The iPad Mini 5 is probably the only tablet that caters for people who are looking for performance and portability. The small tablet market right now is not up to the mark as Android-based tablets are often outfitted with weak processors and mediocre screens. The iPad Mini 5 easily fills that gap and offers the full iOS experience you've come to expect from Apple devices. The iPad Mini 5 has a great display and offers new augmented reality features never seen on an iPad Mini before. With services like Apple Arcade on the horizon, the iPad Mini 5 is the right investment right now. It's Apple's most versatile device that offers everything from productivity to entertainment. The iPad Mini 5 retails in India for Rs 34,900 (Cellular) and Rs 45,900 (Wi-Fi + Cellular) which could be considered expensive for India but the advantages it offers offsets the cost entirely.
  3. Despite the changing landscape of torrents, it's not really all that difficult to access torrent websites. One can easily access any of these sites by following a couple of simple steps. However, it's worth pointing out that not all of your old favourite sites are still working. Don't worry, though. We scavenged the internet to find out the best torrent sites you can access today to download whatever it is that you want--be it movies, TV Shows, software, and more. So let's check them out. The Pirate Bay © MensXP “Once a classic, always a classic”. Yes, that's exactly what The Pirate Bay is all about. This particular website has been in existence for as long as torrents have existed, and it's still one of the most popular and reliable sites around. The Pirate Bay has a huge selection of torrents ranging from movies, tv shows, apps, and more. It also has a fairly simple user interface, which hasn't really changed in years. Notably, the Pirate Bay also has the most popular torrent tracker in the world, which by itself a huge reason behind the success of this site. Visit The Pirate Bay RARBG © MensXP This one's for movie enthusiasts out there who are on the lookout for all the latest movies. It also has other content like TV shows, but RARBG is one site which you can always rely on for movies. Much like the other torrent sites, RARBG comes with a simple and easy-to-use interface with relevant info on the main page. The download page for each file also comes with all the useful bit of information like the number of seeders, leechers, etc., making it easier to find the right info and do exactly what you need. RARBG is constantly updated with new additions, and is known to be quite a popular destination for people wanting to download the new episodes of Game of Thrones. Visit RARBG 1337X © MensXP 1377X is yet another torrent site that's been around for a long time. But it wasn't until the demise of KAT and ExtraTorrent that this website gained some spotlight. The content on 1337X gets updated frequently, and all the info is displayed on a clean-looking interface. That's part of the reason why 1337X gained a lot of traction over the years. It's also one of the very few sites with obscure torrents, so there are more chances of finding the torrents that you're after without the hassle of going through a lot of searching. 1337X is an excellent choice for downloading content like movies, TV shows, games, etc. Also, the additional helpful browsing features like Oscar nominations, new episodes, and more are just an added advantage. Visit 1337X. YTS © MensXP YTS is one site that focuses exclusively on movies. It's also one of the cleanest-looking torrent site that you'll find on the internet. Seriously, it's almost comparable to the streaming sites out there. It looks that good. Besides the advantage of its visual appearance, one of the biggest advantages of using YTS is that it goes easy on the bandwidth. The movies are offered in the smallest size possible, which means it's perfect for users in countries like, say, India, where bandwidth is often a pain point. Visit YTS NYAA © MensXP NYAA.si is your one-stop destination for anime. It's essentially a resurrection of the popular anime site NYSAA, and it has a very similar interface. The site lists out all the available anime episodes that are available to download right in the homepage, along with some other useful information like the number of seeders and leechers. Visit NYAA
  4. 'Say no to spoilers' – it's not a hard concept to understand. But, some people have a hard time grasping this and they don't realize how much the spoilers of a movie or a TV show can affect someone, especially if they have been waiting for a really long time to watch it. The entire spoiler debate going on right now is obviously because of 'Avengers: Endgame' - only 9 days to go! - and I still can't believe there are some sadistic people who would spoil things for others. There are so many loyal fans and followers of the Marvel Cinematic Universe who want to and who deserve to watch the biggest Marvel movie yet without any interference. But, it can get so out of hand that the Russo Brothers had to come out and release another PSA just to plead with people. #DontSpoilTheEndgame pic.twitter.com/YZhbrwcijJ — Russo Brothers (@Russo_Brothers) April 16, 2019 Yes, I hate the giant purple grape and his stupid narrow way of thinking, but for once we should listen to him when he demands our silence. Be a good person, don't make fans have meltdowns and keep the spoilers to yourself. Be like Cap. But not us #WhateveritTakes #DontSpoilTheEndgame pic.twitter.com/KDKxFxl2dM — Danna Sofía (@DSofi427) April 16, 2019 Be like Dr Strange. pic.twitter.com/gPfbjD4xw9 — Tommy (@TommyWitney) April 16, 2019 Good joke. when someone spoils endgame pic.twitter.com/0rzbhGQ0D5 — dustin (@asvpxdusty) April 16, 2019 This is probably why Spiderman was killed off in 'Infinity War'. :) pic.twitter.com/i7b1w3aIt2 — Iván Gutiérrez (@ivandecat05) April 16, 2019 While this letter is good, nothing can beat last year's PSA about spoilers for 'Avengers: Infinity War'. I'm kind of sad we don't have Tom Holland with tape on his mouth this time. © Marvel
  5. Even though Apple may have faced slower sales for the latest iPhones, Apple has still managed to keep its lead in the premium smartphone segment in 2018. A new survey reveals that Apple still has a 51% market share of the premium smartphone segment. © YouTube Another impressive thing that comes from the survey is the inclusion of OnePlus in the list. For the first time in OnePlus' history, the smartphone is among the top five premium smartphone brands. The company managed to record the highest-ever shipments for the company in the fourth quarter of 2018. © Reuters The report comes from Counterpoint Research, one of the more reliable sources of market research. The report points out that Apple still had a significant lead over other companies in the list such as Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo and Huawei. Samsung is currently at the second spot for having a 22 per cent of shipments while Huawei had a 10 per cent in the same quarter. The blog post from Counterpoint Research said, “an indication of the increasing competition in the segment is highlighted by the fact that close to 40 OEMs now compete in the premium segment globally. Of these, the top five players account for almost 90 per cent of shipments. The premium segment contributed to one-fourth (22 per cent) of the global smartphone shipments in 2018.” © Pexels The premium smartphone segment is the faster streaming growing segment and Apple is still on top of the list with a considerable margin. The report goes on to say that buyers are content with paying more for a premium device. Researchers expect the premium smartphone segment to grow even more, thanks to foldable smartphones and the eventual launch of 5G services and smartphones.
  6. Season 8 of 'Game of Thrones' premiered today and boy, oh boy, has it given new light to a particular theory that we've been speculating for so long. Cersei Lannister was introduced to us as a cruel, conniving Queen who was willing to cross any lines when it came to protecting her kids and lover/ twin brother Jaime. We've hated her initially and then we grew to admire her for her unpredictable moves that would challenge the whole sequence of events (remember the burning of the Sept?) all orchestrated seamlessly. A major motivation and central to her arc is the Prophecy that Cersei was made acquainted to as a little girl. © HBO While going deep into the woods around Casterly Rock, Cersei stumbled upon an old woman called Maggy the Frog, who turned out to be a powerful fortune teller. Cersei asked Maggy three questions about her future, however, the answers weren't hopeful. The first said that she wouldn't marry a Prince, but a King. The second said that she would be cast down by a younger and a more beautiful queen who would take all that she held dear. Further, Maggy told Cersei that the king would have 20 children, but that Cersei would only have three, and “gold will be their crowns, and gold their shrouds.” Now, of all the three predictions, Margaery Tyrell did manage to take away most of what Cersei held dear to her including her son, Tommen but besides these three predictions, in 'A Feast for Crows', the fourth book in the series, Maggy reveals to Cersei one final part of the prophecy: “The valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale throat and choke the life from you.” Now, here the valonqar translates to a younger brother. For Cersei, this has always been Tyrion as someone who could possibly try to kill her. © HBO However, if you notice, there is this other 'younger brother' in Cersei's life. Yes, we're talking about Jaime Lannister. © HBO After watching the first episode, this prediction could come to life, because Cersei has commissioned Bron to assassin Jamie. If this fails, Jamie could possibly come after Cersei because he's clearly repulsed by Cersei's rule, which is like the Mad King in more ways than one. To begin with, Cersei made Tyrion believe at the end of the seventh season that she would send the Iron Fleet to help fight The Army Of the Undead. This obviously, was a lie which Tyrion failed to see through for a change. She couldn't care less about the White Walkers or the impending doom as long as she could save herself from it. In the fifth episode of season 7, Cersei told Jaime that she was pregnant. Now, in the premiere of season 8, she consummated her alliance with Euron Greyjoy because the only way she could keep the Iron Fleet and have her way around with it was if she would sleep with Euron which, to her seemed a small price to pay. © HBO Now, Euron telling Cersei “I'm going to put a prince into your belly” is practically impossible — if, indeed, Cersei is still pregnant. It's unclear, however, if that's the case. If you recall, Cersei nixed drinking last season when she realized that she was pregnant. But in today's episode, she was seen sipping a glass of wine after sleeping with Euron. While the Westerosi doctors probably aren't warning Cersei against fetal alcohol syndrome, the change could signal a change in Cersei's status. Regardless of whether Cersei is pregnant or not, she's likely to lose her baby at some point to that effect taking into account how things are moving. But the question is if a majority of the theory has come to pass, as we are still waiting to see who will be the vanquisher of Cersei. It could still be Tyrion, if Jaime ends up getting executed or killed before or during the battle of Winterfell. It could also be Euron Greyjoy. Technically he is the younger brother of Balon Greyjoy and passes the criterion of a valonqar if he realizes that his relationship with Cersei is not based on trust and she could betray him any time.
  7. Summers have already begun and I am assuming that in a few weeks from now, you would be planning your summer holidays, just like every other year. But unlike every year, you don't really have to come back from your holidays after gaining pounds of fat on your belly. Wherever you are heading this summer, the tips that I am going to share with you in this article are going to help you in maintaining your weight as well as heath during your vacation: 1. Practice Portion Control Credit - Getty Images I know that it's impossible to stay on a diet while you are on a vacation. And frankly speaking, you shouldn't really be too rigid while you are on a full-fledged vacation with your closed ones. So while you would be losing track of your diet, what you can at least do is to practice some portion control. Now, this won't really stop the damage but at least it will lower the degree of the damage. The problem begins when you binge-eat food items that were not ideally a part of your diet. Thus, while it's good to indulge yourself in some new and tasty food items that come your way during vacations, keep in mind that you should not binge-eat them. 2. Keep Your Protein Intake In Check Credit - Getty Images Majority of the food items that you consume while travelling or during vacations are full of calories. Generally, these calories come from carbs. Thus, it is almost sure that your carb intake is going to be sufficient during vacation. It is your protein intake that you will have to take off. Try to include a portion of protein in all the meals of the day whenever possible. Adding food source that contains protein will increase its satiety factor and thus you won't be feeling hungry too soon. This will help you to save yourself from overeating. 3. Have Foods High In Fibre Credit - Getty Images Just like protein, fibre intake also goes for a toss while you are out on a vacation. Thus, have foods that will add to the fibre intake for the day as well. So while you are having lunch outside and ordering your favourite dish, just add on a portion of vegetables or salad along with that. This will add on to the fibre content of your meal and thus also increase the satiety factor. 4. Limit Alcohol And Other Drinks Credit - Getty Images Though it's difficult to stay away from the temptation of alcohol while you are on a beach holiday, I would still suggest keeping your alcohol intake in check. Alcohol and other sugary drinks like flavoured juices and colas just add on to the calories and do not provide any kind of nutrition. Make sure you are not consuming too much of any of these. 5. Stay Physically Active Credit - Getty Images When you feel things are going a little haywire in terms of maintaining a good diet, try to compensate it with staying a little more active. Performing some form of cardio is one such move that you can make. You can also indulge in some outdoor sports activity like cricket and badminton along with your friends to enjoy the company and burn some calories. I am not saying that this will compensate poor nutrition entirely but at least it may help with the damage control.
  8. AirPods is now more of a cultural phenomenon than any other product from Apple's portfolio. It was Apple's solution for removing the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 and since then, it has taken the world with storm. Apple has now offered a new version of the AirPods that offers a lot of features which it already did along with a few incremental upgrades. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The new AirPods offer more talk time and have a new H1 Chip that enables quicker Siri access. It comes with a wireless charging case that can be charged using any Qi-wireless charger. The new updates may not be enough of a reason to upgrade if you already own AirPods, but the new iteration still holds the throne of wireless earbuds. Setting It Up Is Easy And Flawless © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The one feature I love the most on the AirPods is the easy setup process that nobody has been able to match up to so far. Each time you open the case, the AirPods automatically connect to your iPhone. Being an integral part of Apple's ecosystem, the AirPods also automatically pair with other Apple devices, thanks to iCloud. You can easily switch between devices without the need of setting it up for each said device. It works with the iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and even Android smartphones (without the support of easy setup). When pairing the AirPods with other Apple devices, you don't need to press a button or wait for it to be discovered. It just connects and works. So, What's The Difference? © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Visually, not much has changed on the new AirPods apart from the new wireless charging case. It now has an LED light on the front instead of inside the case. The case can be charged via a lightning cable or wirelessly using a Qi charging pad. The case has the same amount of battery reserve as the previous case i.e. it offers up to 24 hours of total battery life. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Like before, if you take one of the earbuds, the auto-pause feature kicks in, however, it only works with Apple devices. As for usability, the new AirPods offer the same controls as the previous generation where you can assign actions like double tap to skip a track on any of the earbuds. You can play/pause with a single tap and also fire up Siri by saying “Hey Siri.” Instead of giving volume controls on the AirPods, you can now ask Siri to turn down/up the volume. You simply have to say “Hey Siri, turn it down” and Siri will do the rest for you. We prefer this feature over manual controls as it prevents accidental touches which in turn would either pause the music or skip the track. What Does The H1 Chip Do? © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Apple H1 chip is one of the upgrades on the new AirPods that enable users to bring up Siri. The new chip can do a lot more such as extend the call time by 50 per cent. The chip also enables lower gaming lag and offers a faster connection for phone calls. The chip also improves call quality, especially in windy conditions. The H1 chip is capable of eliminated distortion caused by winds which makes your voice clearer. We tried this feature on a few phone calls sitting right under a speedy fan and no one heard any breeze on the other end of the call. Sound Quality © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Even though Apple says that there is no difference in sound quality, we felt that the sound on the new AirPods was much crisper. Maybe our previous AirPods began to age and we noticed the stark difference in sound quality, however, it's still among the best hearing wireless earbuds. Of course, there is some sound leakage simply because of the design of the earbuds. We would have preferred a better fit on the new AirPods which in turn would also prevent sound leakage. In terms of sound, the new AirPods have warmer undertones with a slight emphasis on bass. AirPods are best used for listening to track with vocals as the midrange and treble are clean and balanced. The overall sound does lack definition, however, that's due to the sound leakage we mentioned before. The overall sound may not please audiophiles, but the AirPods 2 is a matter of convenience over performance. For better sounding earbuds, we would recommend you something from Senheisser but it lacks all the bells and whistles such as good battery life, ease of connectivity and accessibility. The Final Say If you're already deeply embedded in the Apple Ecosystem, the new AirPods are your best bet at convenient audio. It offers old and new tech for Rs 18,900 and will be available to buy in India soon. The new AirPods, in our opinion, is still the king of wireless earbuds as it offers balanced features such as good battery life, respectable performance and decent sound. The competition may be getting harder but it's still hard to beat the AirPod's convenience and accessibility. The Galaxy Buds are a strong contender for the new AirPods and we will compare them soon to let you know which one is better.
  9. The Captain America-Iron Man reunion was one of the biggest things every Marvel fan was waiting for in 'Avengers: Infinity War' but as we know, it never happened. Then, this particular meeting became the main focus of one of the 'special videos' from 'Avengers: Endgame' and everyone is still very emotional about it. This is all because of the events of 'Captain America: Civil War', of course. They both love each other but a disagreement over the Sokovia accords and obviously a brainwashed Bucky killing Tony's parents years ago tore them apart. In that last fight scene from the movie, the last time they both actually saw each other, Tony basically took away Cap's shield because “he didn't deserve it”. Well, even after so many years and Cap even calling Tony earth's best defender, Tony is not yet ready to give back the shield. The entire cast is doing the press tour for 'Endgame' right now and it's hilarious because it's just all of them having fun together, probably for the last time. 10. Drones, the gadget denied to Indian enthusiasts by the DGCA, unless you are a wedding planner or photographer, is a heated topic in the country. While we may be debating the commercial use of drones in India, people in Australia can now get coffee and food delivered to them by our flying friends. © Pexels The company that is making the service a possibility is called “Wing” owned by Google's parent company Alphabet. The company has now begun delivering items to customers just outside Canberra, Australia's capital. The company has already tested the service 3,00 times in the past 18 months and is now ready to roll the service out for “eligible homes.” The service will be available in the outskirts of Canberra, namely in suburbs of Franklin, Palmerston and Crace. The company is already adding new customers and is expected to grow that number in the coming weeks and months. The company will start delivering over the counter items such as coffee, wraps, burritos and other smaller products. © Wing The key to the company's success is partnering with local businesses and merchants who want to get their products delivered to customers. The service is currently not at scale due to the nature of the project, however, it's a great step towards reducing emissions from traditional delivery methods. © Pexels Of course, we won't get to see something like this in India as we need special permission from DGCA to just own a drone or fly them in a specific area. In fact, if you want to know the precise rules of flying a drone in India, you can read our guide here. Until then, enjoy them drones at a nearby Delhi wedding where it showers you with rose petals!
  11. “Work hard in silence. Let your success be your noise,” a statement once given by Frank Ocean is completely justified by the English all-rounder, Sam Curran. As a budding cricketer in his school days, Curran had an opportunity to meet his idol Chris Gayle, and now, when he is 20-years-old, he has earned his opportunity to share the dressing room with the Gayle Storm. Recently, Gayle shared a collage of two pictures (then and now) in which on one side, he is seen posing with a young Curran dressed in his school uniform, and on the other, on the right, the latest photo with the 20-year-old all-rounder in his Kings XI Punjab jersey. Even Curran replied saying: “Thank you Legend @chrisgayle333 excited for the season ahead playing and learning from you.” Talking of form, both batsmen have been in sublime form in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL). On one hand, where Gayle has consistently been providing a good start to KXIP, Curran on the other, has been crowned as the youngest player ever to take a hat-trick in the league. We hope we see the youngster and his idol play together in the next match when the team goes face to face with the defending kings of the IPL trophy, Chennai Super Kings, on 6th April.

  13. It's a dream for all gamers to own as many games as possible, so that you'd never run out of games to play. But there's a fine line between collecting and hoarding, and apparently, a Texas man named Antonio Monteiro is lost in between. Last week, Antonio earned the Guinness World Record for having the largest video game collection in the world. How many does he own? 20,139 to be precise as of March 28. Yes, that's just insane. © Guinness World Records Monteiro has been collecting games since he was a child, and he apparently owns games for second to eighth generation consoles. Of course, he also owns 100-plus devices on which he plays all these games. Owning that many devices make sense considering the fact that he literally has huge walls stocked with games. You can check out the video here - The wall of games, as you can see, includes complete collections for consoles like Sony's PS2. the Nintendo Wii, Sega Dreamcast, and more. His first ever game was a copy of 'Golden Axe' for Sega Genesis, which his parents gave him as a gift. His favourite game, however, is 'Super Castlevania IV' for Nintendo SNES, and he calls it a masterpiece.
  14. Every day, people are still searching on the internet the best fat burners on the planet and are ready to shell any amount of money on falsely marketed pills as they promise magic. Fat burners, which were earlier used only by professional athletes, have become common even with beginners in the gym. Not only is this trend stupid and pointless but you are not going to achieve any results out of it except an empty pocket. So, before you think of taking any shortcut in your fitness journey let me give you a single tool that will help you more than any fat burner or a magic pill out there. Start Tracking Your Nutrition This may sound trivial, but trust me it makes a huge difference when it comes to results. I am not saying this based on just my own experience but I have noticed this working on my clients as well. While you may think that you are on low carb and high protein diet, but if you are not tracking your calorie and macro intake, there are chances that you might be consuming more than your target calories. Tracking your food intake gives you a precise calculation of how your body is responding to varying levels of carb and overall calorie intake. This, in turn, will help you in making a smart decision as to how much can you play around with your calories and macros. Fun Fact 1: It Is Backed By Science This phenomenon of tracking calories has been subjected to studies as well and studies do show a positive impact on the results as well. A study conducted by the Kaiser Permanente Care Management Institute established that people who regularly tracked their macro intake were able to lose twice more weight than people who did not. Fun Fact 2: It Helps In Portion Control When you update your food diary daily, you can measure the number of calories you have consumed in every single meal of the day. While some meals might be absolutely healthy but there are chances that you may be consuming a larger portion of it. Even if the meal is healthy, you can't just binge on it and expect that it will not have an impact on the overall calculations. Once you start tracking your meals, it will help you to identify if the portion size of the meal that you were consuming is within your target area or not. For example, a meal comprising of Kidney beans and brown rice would be an ideal choice for lunch but that doesn't mean that you can have 'n' number of portions of the same every day. It Will Help You Connect The Dots There are small food items that you consume throughout the day but they often get unnoticed while you make your diet program. These include multiple cups of tea and coffee, biscuits, namkeen, sugary drinks, flavoured energy drinks, artificially flavoured juices etc. While you may think that they may not make any difference but once you start tracking them you may notice that that's not the case. Sometimes these small snacking items contribute a significant addition to your total calorie intake which may slow down your health and fitness progress. 15. A couple of years back, a relatively unknown – at least in the Indian subcontinent – Hasan Minhaj furthered the politician-comedian parentification (don't look up the dictionary; the meme below explains the meaning of this word better) through his White House correspondents' dinner address. He took digs at the bigotry of Donald Trump & Co, but that didn't make much of an impact in India because, of course, we're stuck in deep shit of our own. © 9gag Over the course of this weekend though, the American comedian of Indian origin finally turned towards the subcontinent in an outright courageous, half-an-hour long episode about the upcoming Indian general assembly elections, on the second season of his Netflix original 'Patriot Act'. And since it touched a lot of nerves, India is kinda…umm abuzz. “Since [Narendra] Modi came to power, India has grown more hostile to minority groups. There's been a resurgence in religious nationalism, specifically Hindu nationalism, the idea that India is a Hindu nation,” opens the monologue. Ha! How dare? A bunch of trolls on my Twitter, and some of you reading this on MensXP (judging by the quality – or the lack of thereof, of a lot of comments on our Facebook page), would disagree. But the bad news for you guys is that he backs it up with solid facts (not Whatsapp forwards and 4Chan theories) to tell you how almost 300 people have been physically assaulted (including the 50 killed) in cow-related violence in India. But I don't expect this lot to understand, let alone be empathetic. After all, I was called a 'cow-eater' just last week on a metro ride to work, because I had put on a kurta (serious offence in this day and age of pigeonholed points of view). So Hasan's Pakistani (then Qatar and then Iran) spy joke hits home instantly. Me reading the comments on the latest episode. https://t.co/dSUYanFAuD pic.twitter.com/btFPPyvoE4 — Hasan Minhaj (@hasanminhaj) March 18, 2019 That's not the only talking point from the episode. An unflinching Minhaj goes on to poke fun at the Indian TV media community that is drawing the ire of international compatriots, especially for its role in the coverage of the recent Indo-Pak tensions. More TV anchors let out war cries than the concerned people and more TV studios were turned into battlefields than the actual ones. If truth be spoken, sane debates – both on air and off it, seem like a distant memory. Trust me, I'm an ex-Muslim man in the 'media business,' and get to physically interact with maybe more people than the average Indian bhakt. In his own style, Minhaj also interviews Indian National Congress' outspoken Member of Parliament, Shashi Tharoor for the episode (FYI, he failed to get a response from the Bharatiya Janata Party and, going by his Twitter handle, Chowkidar Narendra Modi, 'who is the first PM in the country to never hold a press conference'). The comedian goes on to revive the age-old joke of the direct proportionality between an Indian politician and the number of criminal charges against them. For crying out loud, he confronted Tharoor about his wife's murder during their interview. It's a real moment of pride when this is the actual state of Indian media at present. And finally, he also addresses the He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named of Indian politics, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) (yes, my name is Khan and I'm not a terrorist). Minhaj calls upon their problematic history and Narendra Modi's close ties with them, with reference to the rise of right-wing politics across the world in the recent past. Apart from Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adiyanath's 'Aap Ki Adalat' appearance with Rajat Sharma (another TV anchor with dicey political ties), former chief MS Golwalkar deciding to name his book 'A Bunch of Thoughts' also became the butt of his jokes. I didn't listen. #NowStreaming pic.twitter.com/7fnuDuaImW — Hasan Minhaj (@hasanminhaj) March 17, 2019 The Twitter troll army, surprisingly, did stay away from going all-out in harassing Minhaj (at least in the first 24 hours of the episode's release), despite him poking ample fun at Modiji & Co. That's, in some ways, a testimony to the narrative's middle-of-the-road approach, and in a lot of ways an unlikely masterclass for Indian TV media. Well, these were my bunch of thoughts on the show and how Minhaj's rational, hilarious, and neutral take on the Indian political climate, and the dire state of our TV 'journalism'. Without further spoilers, here is the entire episode; check it out.
  16. One can only look for so many arguments to debate how the Portuguese megastar Cristiano Ronaldo is not the greatest footballer of this generation and most certainly one of the top elites in the history of the game. But when he does something as massive and impressive as this, the haters must dig deep into their 'bag of excuses' to bring down the man's brilliance and still won't be able to come out with a solid case. The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 saw what was probably the best individual performance this season when Ronaldo scored a brilliant and a very crucial hat-trick in order to surpass Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid and take his Juventus to the UCL quarter finals. 17. When it comes to budget smartphones and the Indian market, Xiaomi has managed to build a brand name that delivers smartphones with aggressive pricing. It's not only the pricing that matters, but smartphones also need to work and need to work well. Redmi, now a sub-brand of Xiaomi has managed to do just that, deliver great smartphones with an attractive price. However, Xiaomi steps up the game with the Redmi Note 7 Pro with upgraded specifications and a camera that can challenge even some of the top-tier smartphones. Xiaomi has also upgraded the design with captivating colours for users who prefer to be trendy and fashionable. It retails in India for Rs 13,990 and comes in different configurations. It has a 48-megapixel primary camera paired with a 5-megapixel sensor for portrait shots at the rear and a 13-megapixel sensor selfie shooter. We've been using the smartphone for a while to find out whether it's still the king of budget smartphones. Here's our review of the Redmi Note 7 Pro: Design And Display Xiaomi has completely overhauled the Redmi Note series with a beautiful gradient design that catches the light. It's something similar to what we've seen on other smartphones. However, the Redmi Note 7 Pro stands out from the crowd thanks to its bold colours. What's cool about the design is that the smartphone has an all-glass design both at the front and the back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This makes the smartphone a tad bit heavier than the previous iterations; however, we like the solid feel to the smartphone. We particularly like the Nebula Red colour which we got to see at the launch event. At the front, Xiaomi as a dewdrop notch display that removes the additional bezels you may have seen in previous models. The design of the smartphone feels very premium and very similar to what you would find on the iPhone XR. It feels solid and does not feel like a budget smartphone from any angle. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Xiaomi also retains the headphone jack which is always a plus in our books and has now added Type-C support. We can finally transfer files faster and charge a Redmi smartphone quicker than ever before. In addition, the Redmi Note 7 Pro also has a p2i nano-coating which protects the smartphone from accidental spills. It's not water-resistant, but it will protect your smartphone from water spills in your bathroom. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla When it comes to the display, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ LTPS LCD display with a resolution 1080x2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. For a smartphone that costs less than Rs 15,000, the display is quite sharp and accurate for an LCD. Sure, it's not the best you find as compared to flagship level smartphones but it does a fair job at colour reproduction and brightness. The colours on the display do not look oversaturated and look close to real-life. The brightness is also solid as it comes in handy when viewing it directly under sunlight. It has a brightness level of 477 nits which is quite impressive for an LCD panel. Camera © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla The Redmi Note 7 Pro's star attraction is its 48 MP rear Sony IMX 586 sensor that delivers some of the most amazing pictures we've seen on a budget smartphone. We've seen this sensor on the Honor View 20 before and it manages to deliver some great details and clarity in images. It captures the right colours and delivers some of the most beautiful pictures in HDR mode. In fact, sometimes we couldn't believe we shot these images with a budget smartphone. Most of these pictures were shown in 21MP however you can always take the full 48MP images by toggling the feature in the settings. Budget smartphones tend to struggle in low-light photography however Xiaomi has introduced its new Night Mode in MIUI 10. The new model does manage to take brighter images in low light which the budget smartphone was unable to do previously. The dynamic range also plays a crucial role in delivering these shots. It works very similar to Google's Night Shot as it combines different a series of images taken in different contrast levels to give you a better low-light image. Overall, we were quite pleased with the camera performance and even raises the question for the need of flagship level smartphones. Sure, flagship smartphones have great cameras but the gap is being closed quite rapidly thanks to smartphones like Redmi Note 7 Pro. Gallery View this post on Instagram Pictures shot using the #redminote7pro. Loving the night mode and it's quite decent from a phone that doesn't break the bank. #xiaomi #smartphones #gadgets #techie #technology #tech A post shared by Akshay Bhalla (@editorinchief) on Mar 10, 2019 at 11:44pm PDT Software Performance The Redmi Note 7 Pro ships with MIUI 10 and we would like to address the elephant in the room. MIUI 10 does have advertisements and if you wish to disable them you can do it by following these steps. Having said that, these advertisements are a bit annoying especially when you install a new application. Xiaomi has a security app that scans newly installed applications that have advertisements embedded within it. You can easily turn off the feature however it is a bit jarring when you kept getting bombarded with advertisements. If you want a seamless, experience, we suggested you follow the steps above. If you look beyond the ads, MIUI 10 looks quite clean and visually appealing with satisfying animations and overall stability. You have usual functions like dual apps and a new gesture navigation system that is easy to use. It's quite similar to what we've seen on the new iPhones but with slightly different animation and multi-tasking layout. Performance Equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 675 chipset, the Redmi Note 7 Pro delivers a great overall experience when it comes to performing tasks daily usage. While it works great with less CPU intensive apps, it lacks in processing graphics for fluid gaming. On PUBG mobile, the smartphone would often have massive frame rate drops in high settings and has the rubber-banding effect too. We would recommend you play GPU intensive games with lower settings. Furthermore, the Redmi Note 7 Pro does heat up a bit when playing games which were expected as it does not have a dedicated cooling system like the POCO F1. Regardless, the smartphone is good enough for casual games like Temple Run and can handle games like Asphalt 9 in medium setting. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla In terms of Geekbench scores, the Redmi Note 7 Pro scored 6520 in the multi-core test while it scored 2380 in the single core test. In our opinion, that's quite a respectable score for a smartphone that costs only Rs 13,990. The Redmi Note 4 Pro comes with 4,000 mAh battery which has remained unchanged from previous models. Battery life on the Redmi Note 7 Pro is exceptional with moderate usage as we had almost 6.5 hours of screen-on-time. We tested the smartphone with navigation, gaming and communication. In addition, it also supports QC4 however you need to buy a compatible charger separately. The Redmi Note 7 Pro was able to last almost two days on a single charge which is quite impressive for any smartphone. The Final Say If you are looking for a smartphone that can take awesome pictures, last 2 days on a single charge and can delivery awesome battery life, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is your best bet. The new smartphone has stepped up its game in the photography department and can perform well with moderate usage. Starting at Rs 13,9990 the Redmi Note 7 Pro is the king of budget smartphones right now.
  18. Remember those Sunday mornings from your childhood, when the ritual was to visit the salon with your father/uncle/big brother and get a haircut done? Perhaps, the first brush with the concept of 'male beauty' that every Indian middle-class man has had, in its rawest, most rustic form, owes its existence to those rather perfunctory visits to the neighbourhood 'Naai ki dukaan'. Our 'Bunty Bhaiyyas' and 'Rashid Chachas' have shaped the concept of grooming for most of us, and no matter how far we have travelled or how much we have upped our 'lifestyle' in general, that bit stays - secure, wrapped in a blanket of nostalgia, deep inside the gullies of our childhood memories. © Getty Images But has much changed over the years for the grown Indian man? Does he still find more comfort, ease, and familiarity in the often cushionless, rickety chairs of the neighbourhood salon as compared to the plush recliners of fancy spas? Does he still prefer the resounding laughter resulting due to the terrible '90s movies playing on the little TV up on a shelf, as compared to the carefully curated background music from the concealed surround sound speakers? The answer is a resounding 'YES', and you know it. © YouTube/OneIndia However, why is that? Here's our take on it. 1. Let's get done with the crude reality before wallowing in nostalgia. The first reason is the simplest one - we can't afford spa treatments. Most men can't. Now, what we can afford and what we can't, is also extremely subjective. For 2-5 thousand rupees, most men can get decent spa treatments. However, in a country where financial woes define the norm, for a middle-class man, that's a lot of money. Why will someone spend Rs 2000 when the end result can be similar, with an expenditure of a mere Rs 200? Most men visit the salon at least twice a month, so it can have a reasonable impact on finances overall. © Getty Images 2. However, not everything is about money. Even financially well off men prefer the local salon, and the reason is extremely relatable. Spas and fancy salon chains can be intimidating - with their trained, mechanical welcome speeches, costumes, and plush interiors. For the average Indian man, subconsciously, that almost counts as a visit to a corporate office, despite the initial fascination with the glam and glitz. Men go to the salon to let loose, not to feel pressurized to be well-composed while having to pay a bomb for that. © Getty Images 3. Local salons come with a lot of strange complimentary perks that spas will never offer you. Does your head massage in the spa come with a complimentary, rather vigorous body massage that makes you feel refreshed almost instantly? Does the spa include that vibrating generator like device that your local salon bhaiya wears on his sleeve before moving his hand up and down all over your head and upper body (and inserts a vibrating finger in your ear that feels like a Goa trip for your entire head)? Does the spa happily take instructions as per you make up your mind about what you want next right there on your seat? No. Only a local salon can, and does those things without ever making a fuss. © Getty Images Visiting the neighbourhood salon feels therapeutic to the average Indian man, not only because it's inexpensive and accessible, but also because it somehow brings him back closer to his roots - a place where he is constantly drifting away from. After all, in our heads, the rough, stinging touch of the Fitkari still somehow feels better than all the mildly fragrant, hydrating aftershaves of the world.
  19. Yes, the Indian cricket team lost the two-match T20I series against the visiting Aussies and yes, it is for the first time in 40 months that the Men in Blue have lost a series on their own soil. It's just one of those things you can't and mustn't complain about. This is where the sportsman spirit steps in: to be equally content in wins and losses. Major props to Glenn Maxwell who delivered under extreme pressure to seal the deal for the Australia cricket team and also made a case for himself before the selections of the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 as he scored an unbelievable 119 off just 55 deliveries. But we are here to talk about 'Thala' himself! Mahendra Singh Dhoni, at 37 years of age continues to show the batting and fitness abilities of a 25-year-old athlete. His wicket-keeping instincts quickly took over as he extended his right leg for an astonishing 2.14 metres to get inside the line to avoid being stumped by Australian keeper Peter Handscomb. The third umpire gave a decision in favour of the batsman as the replay showed that Dhoni was too quick and well inside the crease for Handscomb to knock the bails off. Mahi had shown off his flexibility once before as well in a match against New Zealand in November 2017. 20. Chris Evans is the most superior Chris in Hollywood, no one can fight me on that. Sorry, Hemsworth, not so sorry, Pratt. Basically, we all know he's the best Chris but he's still always so adamant on proving that. Or maybe, the more plausible reason is that he's just that great of a person and he's just doing what's right. I mean, after all, he didn't become for Captain America for no reason. During the Oscar ceremony last night, actually this morning for us, Chris showed everyone once again what a gentleman he is and him just being him, obviously won everyone over. What happened was that, Chris was seated right next to Regina King and her mother. Regina was nominated - and then won - the Academy Award for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role for 'If Beale Street Could Talk'. As she was getting up, it was followed by a standing ovation which was led by Chris of course, and it looked like she stumbled a little bit because of her dress. Then, Chris being Chris was already there to help her. Aww, look at that. What a guy! It's also not the first time he has been this sweet and literally won everyone's hearts. People have been just talking about this moment and what a gentleman he really is and he knows it. That means a lot coming from my on-screen mom :) https://t.co/XnyHTj8nY0 — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) February 25, 2019 Tell me also, please. 21. As last year marked the completion of a decade since the deadly attacks of 26/11, there still exists individuals who survived through this hell and are now living a normal life. One such individual is my client, RSK (name undisclosed), but is brave enough to narrate her story. A story that she now feels is just part of the past and has blown away like wind. Shot And Lying In A Pool Of Blood © RSK A then resident of California, RSK had come over to Mumbai to attend a wedding and decided to meet with her friends at a restaurant at the Oberoi Hotel at Nariman Point. Before even placing an order, RSK and her friends heard something that sounded like “firecrackers” and upon inquiring they were told by the hotel staff that it was the sound of the locals celebrating India's win during a cricket match. The next thing they heard was “duck! duck! This was followed by a shower of bullets and a hand grenade explosion. Two of her friends passed away on the spot, while one of her other friends managed to leave safely. RSK however wasn't able to leave, because she was shot with several bullets and also by shrapnel from the explosion. RSK shouted for help (in Hindi and English) for the next 18 hours lying immobile in her own blood; until a policeman heard her and carried her on a stretcher. It was this time when she realized that one of her arms was hanging loose, almost detached and that she was injured all over her body. Learning To Live Again With A Bullet Still In Her Body After being admitted to a nearby hospital on 27/11, RSK underwent multiple surgeries including bone grafting, a nerve implant and removal of about 7 bullets and shrapnel from her body. She was discharged officially from all medical treatment in February 2009. In fact, she still has a bullet in her body behind her pelvis which was too risky to be removed. After receiving rigorous physiotherapy for the first two years post her surgeries, she finally gained back most of her mobility and movement. 20 Kilos Overweight And The Trap Of Stupid Diets RSK lost a lot of lean body mass staying immobile in the hospital for 3 months and once she returned home, she put on around 20 kilos during the course of a few years. There arrived a time when her doctor suggested her to undergo a knee-surgery due to increased stress on her joints due to high bodyweight. She would lose weight, and gain it back due to an unsustainable approach towards her diet and exercise. She tried a variety of diets: the “liquid” diet suggested by a famous nutritionist, the GM diet and etc. And the result was weight loss and even more weight gain post the dieting phase due to eating out of proportion. © RSK Counting Calories And Weight Training = 22 Kilos Lost It was not until 2017 that she realized the importance of following something more sustainable and consistent. Since then, her nutritionist asked her to focus on her overall caloric intake and macro nutrients; she was also allowed to enjoy some unhealthy options. “I love junk food and I eat some everyday. But I keep the portion-size in mind”, said RSK. She, now, also makes sure to accumulate at least 150 minutes of exercise per week which includes kickboxing, weight training and suspension training. From the time she took this decision, she successfully lost 22 kilos (from 99 kilos to 77 kilos) and has kept it off. Today, she not only feels lighter but also finds it easy to perform activities of daily living due to regular exercise. © RSK As RSK's fitness specialist, I push her just enough without going overboard. Due to limited range of motion in both her arms, I make sure that she trains through the available range. Her workouts include squats, pushups, deadlifts, lunges, burpees, jumping jacks and almost all movements one can think of. The suspension trainer is assistive during movements that require her to deload some weight for pain-free movement. She calls exercising “the necessary evil” but she makes sure to take out the time to engage in it 5 times a week. RSK is one of my special clients because she is one of the very few individuals I know who has seen death so closely. “I'm not scared to die anymore. But I value life more than ever”, said RSK when I asked her about her almost-fatal encounter. Apart from her will power, RSK gives credit to her supportive family and friends for getting her back to normalcy.
  22. Any man knows that the mark of a true gentleman lies in his ability to suit up. Trust us, nothing looks classier than a man in a well-tailored suit. With the up and coming trends of styling suits in numerous ways and mixing it up with athleisure and business casual attire, there still remain a few things that should be left the way they are when it comes to men's fashion. Tailoring is the most adaptable piece of clothing a man can own. To get more wear out of your true business attire, the easiest and most effective move would be to lose the tie. Here are 5 ways to wear a suit without a tie and still look dapper: 1. Go for a collarless shirt © Instagram/ishabhansali Opting for a shirt that prevents you to wear a tie in the first place is possibly the best solution to your problems. Also known as the stand collar shirt, a collarless shirt adds finesse and provides a clean look without the choke of the necktie. A simple white or light blue shirt would be ideal for an update your tailored suit needs. 2. Trade the shirt for a polo © Instagram/ishabhansali To dial the tone on formality, opt for a polo tee instead of a shirt. This style retains the collar effect to make you look put together but oozes chill vibes as well making the look semi-casual. Keeping the footwear casual and accessories as minimal as possible is suggested. You can either button the polo tee up or rock an open collar depending upon the occasion. 3. Go for the classic open collar © Instagram/ishabhansali Slogging all day at the office can make your necktie feel like a noose. The best way to let it go is to open the collar for good. A simple move can make ample difference when it comes to the look and feel of the outfit. Just open the top button of your shirt and let loose. One can go from business meeting to cocktail party ready in the matter of seconds. 4. Camp collar all the way © Instagram/ishabhansali If you're a fan of the 70s fashion and want to embrace your inner OG Don, go for a camp collar. Also known as the Cuban collar, pair this shirt with earthy tones of brown, khaki and beige. This style will give you a relaxed appearance but still make you look refined. A beige suit is ideal to pair a printed shirt with. 5. A fast track button up © Instagram/ishabhansali The quickest way to look polished sans tie is to don a dress shirt in a classic button-up manner. To carry a buttoned up shirt without looking like a school kid, go for slim fit tailoring for a sharp look. For the perfect business casual style, opt for printed shirts with a neutral colored suit and loafers or derby shoes. Adapt these styling tips and they're sure to make you ditch the dreaded tie once every while and still look as debonair.
  23. When you have so much money that you don't even know what to do with it, you start spending it on honestly the most bizarre, frivolous things. Case in point - Drake's new diamond encrusted iPhone case. Oh, and it apparently cost him $400,000 which is exactly â¹2,85,92,000. Basically, while we're all struggling to even afford an iPhone, he spent the money it would take to buy, say 400 iPhones, on a single phone case. I mean, it's his money and he can do whatever he wants with it, so Champagne Papi just decided to call everyone a broke bitch at the same time. Well, here's the cover, and please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this is a little tacky. View this post on Instagram Because we can't do basic! Diamond iPhone case cover for our friend @champagnepapi ðð¼ðð¼ðð¼ A post shared by JASON OF BEVERLY HILLS (@jasonofbeverlyhills) on Feb 14, 2019 at 5:21am PST Not so basic, for sure. But, I still have some questions - What will happen when a new iPhone comes and it's time for Drake to upgrade? Will he stick to his current iPhone or drop another half a million dollars on a case? Is he being this extra just because he has a song called 'hotline bling' and this is literally hotline bling come to life? Does this case offer any extra protection when his phone inevitably falls? Will the diamonds prevent a broken screen? But, most importantly, I'm just scared of him losing his phone or someone stealing it. I mean, it would hurt us if we lost our iPhone, but he would not just lost his iPhone but 3 crore worth of diamonds as well. It hurts just thinking about it. Drake, be careful man, your phone is probably a target now.
  24. We all still listen to and love The Beatles, but their legendary songs could easily become a thing of 'yesterday' and be gone forever. Yep, that's the world of the movie 'Yesterday' where only one single person remembers iconic songs like 'Hey Jude' (and not dude, please) and 'Let It Be'. It's honestly hard to 'Imagine' (ha!) a world where John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr never came together to become The Beatles, but it does make for a unique and interesting movie idea. Basically, the movie is about Jack Malik, a struggling musician who realizes his accident was actually a miracle in disguise. He starts singing the song Yesterday and surprises everyone with his songwriting talent. After realizing he woke up in a world where The Beatles never existed after his accident, he sees a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and obviously takes it. Claiming all the Beatles songs as his own, he becomes the greatest songwriter in the entire world. I've seen the trailer so many times and I will continue watching it because it's that good! And, the best part is that in the trailer, at one point they show two men walking in who claim they have written the songs. Notice something? And notice something here? © Twitter Although it's not directly stated that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will also be in the movie, who else could it be in the gif above? One of the guys (Paul) is barefoot for crying out loud, it's a dead giveaway! I'm so here for Paul and Ringo coming to fight, honestly so ready for this movie. It will be a hit, for sure. Danny Boyle's 'YESTERDAY' looks absolutely brilliant. This premise is so extremely clever, and goes to show how influential the Beatles were & STILL ARE in the 21st Century. Newcomer Himesh Patel looks phenomenal! Add on Boyle's directing talents & we may have a surprise hit! pic.twitter.com/t9ROUwFCl8 — DR Movie News (@DRMovieNews) February 12, 2019 A very good point! Oh my god this looks amazing and they cast a South Asian as the LEAD, in a movie not about being South Asian, who all the girls are in love with. This. Is. Goddam. Progress. â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ Oi Oi @HimeshJPatel â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ https://t.co/c7MKjxbNSh — Jameela Jamil (@jameelajamil) February 13, 2019 The coolest concept. I don't know if I have ever been this excited for a movie like: #Yesterday about IF #TheBeatles never happened and this guy was the only one to know & make himself famous, my gosh what a cool concept &... Wait so if the Beatles weren't a thing in the world of Yesterday does that mean John Lennon is still alive there? pic.twitter.com/oWfXpX3V4t — ð¤ (@anotherdownpour) February 13, 2019 That's a good point. Not sure how I feel about "Yesterday" The entire premise is interesting, but I'd find it hard to believe that without the Beatles that the entire pop culture landscape would be exactly the same. — Michael J. Gleason (@MichaelJGleason) February 13, 2019 So many new original songs, can't wait. These songs are pretty catchy. Can't wait for the soundtrack. — mcbc (@mcbc) February 13, 2019 So happy. that new Yesterday trailer (which I loved) made me listen to The Beatles on my amazon echo and now I am so happy we live in a world where they exist pic.twitter.com/MTZa8neyhA — john b (film critic wannabe) (@johnbizub) February 13, 2019 What a great line. This looks perfect. A seemingly diverse film using the Beatles art for what it is – a once-in-forever collection of absolute genius. And mocking how dreadful ears and the “industry” currently are. “It's not Coldplay, is it? It's not “Fix You.” I lost my shit on that line. ð — Stewart Blake (@stewblake) February 13, 2019 Good tweet. I think a better title would be Yesterday: The Noel Gallagher Story #YesterdayMovie — Bradlei (@BradleiGriffin) February 12, 2019
  25. You can certainly blame Bollywood as to why most women love big gestures and dramatic declarations of love. Something about going all out conveys the depth of one's emotions, apparently.
