  1. All grooming products come with an expiry date which means you'll have to dump them at some point. With weather conditions like that of India's, it's likely that the expensive products you buy will get spoiled well before their expiry date. That's the worst scenario you could imagine, however, there is a preventive measure that you can take from stopping your grooming products from spoiling like storing them in the fridge. Besides lasting longer, they will even feel better on your skin. Here are four products that you should be storing in the fridge: 1. Fumes © idiva Without a doubt, you should be storing your fumes inside of the fridge. The heat and humidity degrade the quality of the fume. 2. Eye Cream © innisfree green tea seed eye cream Firstly, if you don't have an eye cream, get one. Especially if you don't want racoon eyes for the rest of your life. Secondly, put that in the fridge. Besides, a chilled out eye cream works better in soothing and de-bloating your blood vessels under the eye. 3. Beard Oil © prospector They tend to become a little runny in the Summer heat. Shove them in the fridge for uniform consistency. Also, the emollients degrade when they come in contact with the UV rays. 4. Toner/Moisturizer © Dove Again, just for the immediate benefit of how it would feel on your skin in its chilled glory. But in case you're using organic products, they anyway shouldn't be outside.
  2. If you thought Sansa Stark's connection with PC is the only desi connection we have with GOT, you, my friend, are wrong. There is another bigger, more important connection. Turns out the elaborate costumes and the majestic tents that gives the show its epic realism, are all manufactured in a store that is located in Delhi's Lajpat Nagar. © Rangarsons © Rangarsons The amazing costumes are manufactured by 'Rangarsons' (http://www.rangarsons.co/index.php), who tasted success after sourcing fabric for the movie 'Gandhi', and has only moved forward since. They were also responsible for the costumes, accessories, and other set elements of movies like 'Troy', 'Gladiator', 'Prince Of Persia', 'Captain America', 'Avengers', and 'Vikings'. © Rangarsons © Rangarsons They started their journey in 1945, and do much more than just costumes. Remember the amazing tents in the show? © Rangarsons © Rangarsons They also are responsible for the majestic sigils, and for embroidering them flawlessly on army elements and animal garbs. © Rangarsons © Rangarsons Let's just say we are just as shocked as you are, and we can't blame Jon Snow anymore for being someone who knows nothing.
  3. 4. 2018 was a great year for the Indian Cricket team, from retaining their Number 1 rank in Test cricket, to winning limited over matches on international soil, the Indian team broke a hell lot of records all over. Despite losing a few tests in South Africa and England, India ended 2018 on a high, in which skipper Virat Kohli and his team triumphed twice against the Aussies on their soil. With a hope that this New Year will lead India to new heights, they got back on the field on the third day of the year itself to play their first match of 2019 with the intention of wrapping up the four-match Test Series on a victorious note against the already distressed Aussies. Having said that, in 2019, the Indian team will be looking forward to play nine Test matches and at least 31 ODIs, 33 if they manage to reach the World Cup final and 17 T20Is overall. Now let's take a look at the complete schedule of the Indian cricket team in 2019: India Tour of Australia 2018-19 © Reuters India will be looking to end the last match of the four-match Test series against Australia on a high, by winning it 3-1 in Sydney. Once done with that, on January 7th, both the teams will face each other again, but this time in their ODI jerseys, for the three-match ODI series that kicks off on January 12th and ends on January 18th, bringing India's two-month-long tour to an end. Schedule: January 3-7: Australia vs India, fourth Test, SCG, Sydney January 12: Australia vs India, first ODI, SCG, Sydney January 15: Australia vs India, second ODI, Adelaide Oval, Adelaide India Tour Of New Zealand, 2019 © Reuters After wrapping up in Australia, India will take a short trip to neighbouring New Zealand for their five-match ODI series, that will begin from January 23rd. Following their ODI duel, the Kohli-led India will lock horns with the Kiwis in the shortest format, slated to begin from February 6th till February 10th. Expected to get the better of the hosts, the visiting side will surely face a stern test against Williamson & Co, especially in their own backyard. Schedule: January 23: New Zealand vs India, first ODI, McLean Park, Napier January 26: New Zealand vs India, second ODI, Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui January 28: New Zealand vs India, third ODI, Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui January 31: New Zealand vs India, fourth ODI, Seddon Park, Hamilton February 3: New Zealand vs India, fifth ODI, Westpac Stadium, Wellington February 6: New Zealand vs India, first T20I, Westpac Stadium, Wellington February 8: New Zealand vs India, second T20I, Eden Park, Auckland February 10: New Zealand vs India, third T20I, Seddon Park, Hamilton Australia Tour Of India, 2019 © Reuters With India's tour to Australia still underway, and being the favourites for the upcoming ODI series, it wouldn't be wrong to comment that India have survived the Australian conditions so far and proved that they are the Number One team in Test for a reason. Having said that, the Kangaroos would surely be looking for revenge once they land on Indian soil later in February. It will be an important series as both the teams would be preparing themselves for the 2019 World Cup. Here's the schedule of Australia's tour of India:- Schedule: February 24: India vs Australia, first ODI, Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali February 27: India vs Australia, second ODI, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad March 2: India vs Australia, third ODI, VCA Stadium, Nagpur March 5: India vs Australia, fourth ODI, Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi March 8: India vs Australia, fifth ODI, JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi March 10: India vs Australia, first T20I, M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru March 13: India vs Australia, second T20I, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam Zimbabwe Tour Of India, 2019 © Reuters Zimbabwe will be touring India after almost 15 years to take part in one Test and three ODIs. The schedule is yet to be announced for the same. However, it's highly possible that the tour gets scrapped off as the IPL is slated to begin in the middle of March, and the dates might clash. It's also being speculated that this tour could possibly mark MS Dhoni's last ODI series on home soil. The Indian Premier League, 2019 The 12th edition of the IPL is expected to kickstart in March this year and will get over by the second or third week of May, so that the players get a breather ahead of the 2019 World Cup. Not to forget, the tentative dates for the IPL is from March 29th till May 19th, and it's being speculated that the tournament might not take place in India due to the General Elections and therefore, South Africa or the UAE are being looked upon as options to host the tournament this year. ICC World Cup, 2019 (England & Wales) © Facebook Once the IPL is over, India will have just one thing to focus on- the 2019 ICC World Cup, in which they will go against nine other teams including the defending champions Australia, the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy winners Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Afghanistan and the hosts, England. The tournament is expected to kick off on May 30th and the finals will take place on July 14th. India will face every single team at least once in the league stage and if they finish in the top-4, they will qualify for the semis. India Tour Of West Indies, 2019 © Reuters Just after the World Cup, India will be touring the West Indies for two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is but the schedule for the tour is yet to be announced by West Indies Cricket. The interesting thing this time would be that the two-match Test series would be a part of the World Test Championship that will begin with this series and go all the way till 2021, where the two topmost teams would fight for the crown. South Africa Tour Of India, 2019 © Reuters Following their tour of the Caribbean in August, the Indian cricketers will be given a much-needed break before they get back on the field. They will kick off their home Test season with a three-match Test series against South Africa, which would also be a part of the World Test Championships. The strange thing this time would be that the Proteas will be coming to India only for the Test series and will complete their remaining tour later in February 2020. Bangladesh Tour Of India, 2019 © Reuters India will next play Bangladesh on their home soil right after their short Proteas stint. There is no doubt that the series against the roaring tigers is also a part of the World Test Championship. The Bangladesh team is expected to arrive in November and will take on India in two Tests and three T20Is. With this, India will be putting a close to their Test matches for the year. West Indies Tour Of India, 2019 © Reuters The last series for India in 2019 will be a limited-overs series against the Windies in December. The announcement has been made that the tour will have three ODIs and three T20Is, but as earlier stated, the itinerary for the same is yet to be released. With this, it can clearly be seen that Team India is expected to go through a gruelling season this year. And with the World Cup around the corner, it makes this year all the more special and exciting for Indian fans as well.
  5. Allowing your customers to find exactly what they need as fast as possible will no doubt increase sales. A good number of our customers use Commerce to sell physical items. Until now, it's always been a little tricky to set up the store to allow customers to drill down into specific items within the store. In Invision Community 4.4, the sidebar in the store now includes filter options to help customers find the product they're looking for. Screen Recording 2018-11-06 at 11.45.49.mov Using the filter sidebar Administrators can set up whatever filters they like for each product. In this video above, you can see we have set up filters for color and price. You can set these filters up in the AdminCP by simply specifying each possible option: Creating a custom filter Once the filters have been set up, you can then add each filter to the categories it applies to (so you can have different filters for different categories) and when editing any product you can specify as many values for each filter as is appropriate (for example, if you have a color filter, you can choose multiple colors if the product allows the customer to choose a color, or if the product has multiple colors). Choosing the filter values when creating/editing a product In addition to these custom filters, you will also see filters for price (you can set appropriate bands for each category), rating, and stock level. Other Commerce Improvements In addition, we also have a few more features new to Commerce in 4.4: There are new sidebar blocks for best selling products, latest products, product reviews and a featured product. When sending a bulk mail, you can target recipients by the total amount they have spent. Categories with no products in them are hidden automatically in the store. Notification emails sent to customers to let them know their purchase will expire soon (including if they will be automatically charged) have been improved to show more clearly what will happen. When viewing a customer page in the AdminCP, active purchases are separated from expired and cancelled purchases to make it easier to discern which are active. Custom field values are now included on printed invoices. When filtering support requests in the AdminCP, you can now choose "more than" or "less than" for all time-based filter options. When using stock actions to reply to support requests, the stock reply can be incorporated into the staff member's default reply content rather than overwriting it. Invoices in the AdminCP can now be filtered by status. This blog is part of our series introducing new features for Invision Community 4.4.

When using stock actions to reply to support requests, the stock reply can be incorporated into the staff member's default reply content rather than overwriting it. Invoices in the AdminCP can now be filtered by status. This blog is part of our series introducing new features for Invision Community 4.4.

Apple fulfilled its duty of humanitarian efforts by adding support banners to its homepage and by adding a donation button on the iTunes Store and App Store. The new donation button enabled Apple and its users to donate a total sum of Rs 7 crore to the Mercy Corps. © Twitter "We're heartbroken by the catastrophic flooding in Kerala. Apple is donating Rs 7 crore to support the life-saving work Mercy Corps India and the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund are undertaking to support survivors, help those who have been displaced and rebuild homes and schools," the Cupertino-based iPhone maker said in a statement. © BCCL "We have also activated a donation button on iTunes and the App Store so customers who wish to donate to Mercy Corps' efforts can do so easily," Apple said. The donation button lets Apple users donate different amounts of money. Customers are able to donate $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, or $200 to the Mercy Corps using credit and debit cards. Indian tech companies such as Zomato, Paytm and many others followed a similar method to enable people to help with the relief efforts. The Kerala floods resulted in costing 417 lives and the floods have left at least 8.7 lakh people homeless. This is not the first time Apple has made a donation towards natural disaster relief efforts and we can expect more to pour in with further contributions. © Reuters If you would like to donate to the Mercy Corps easily via Apple, you can do so by clicking here
  12. An iPad exploded at the Apple Store in Amsterdam yesterday which happened due to overheating or a leaked battery. The incident was reported by Dutch website AT5, and thankfully nobody was injured in the store. There were around three people in the store and were treated for respiratory problems after the incident occurred. © Twitter As of now, there is no certainty as to why the explosion happened. However, soon after the incident occurred, Apple staff were able to quickly place the device in a container filled with sand. The iPad was supposedly emitting 'irritating' vapours which affected three people. The firefighters evacuated everybody at the Leidseplein store and resumed business by 3 PM. Apple products aren't necessarily known for exploding due to battery issues; however, Apple is not an exception to the incident either. An iPhone battery overheated and caused the handset to explode at a showroom in Zurich recently. The explosion caused a repair worker minor burns. © BCCL Apple, like any other manufacture, uses rechargeable lithium-ion battery in their devices. The batteries in question are prone to explosions when the internal polypropylene layer that protects the electrodes from each other is damaged. Explosions can also be caused if the flammable electrolyte inside gets too hot. Source: AT5
  13. Whether you want to accept it or not, Apple's App Store is more successful than any other digital store that sells applications and games. The platform has managed to outsell its rivals such as the Google Play store and Steam. According to a report by Sensor Tower, Apple's App Store managed to rake in $22.6 billion in worldwide gross app revenue, while the Google Play Store earned $11.8 billion. What's interesting to note is that Apple managed to generate double the revenue with half the number of downloads. © Sensor Tower Apple's iOS store has been consistently generating more revenue than its competition. In fact, when one compares numbers, historically Android users spend less on apps than iOS users. There could be a number of reasons for this, such as other Android app stores like the Samsung Store, the Amazon App Store, and others. It's obvious knowledge that there are significantly more Android smartphones in the world, but Google's Play store still managed to remain behind Apple's offering. However, one should also note that Google's Play Store is not available in China, the world's largest market for smartphones. © BCCL Last year, Apple earned $38.5 billion from the App Store while Google Play could only manage to earn $20.1 billion. Sensor Tower estimates that consumer spending has increased in 2018 by 26.8 percent on iOS, whereas it's up by 29.7 percent on Google Play. This growth in spending may have many reasons, but it can be attributed to players like Tencent Video, Netflix, and other services. App revenues have seen a huge rise thanks to subscription services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. In fact, Netflix was 2017's top non-game app by revenue. © PUBG Game spending is considered to have a huge chunk of the revenue, thanks to popular games such as PUBG, Fortnite, and others. Apple's App Store earned $16.3 billion from games alone, while Google Play earned $10.3 billion in 2017. © Sensor Tower It could be argued that Apple's platform earns more due to its presence in China, however, Sensor Tower reports that even if China is removed from the equation, the App Store would have earned a 30 percent gross revenue than Google's Play store. 14. Yesterday, we published a story talking about how Steve Jobs envisioned the App Store almost 25 years before its launch. The App Store has officially turned 10 today and we no longer remember a time where applications did not dominate our lives. The App Store is a crucial delivery system for applications, that in the long run, has made our lives better. The App Store has been responsible for numerous games to keep us entertained, it provides us transport service applications such as Uber and Ola and it even helped people connect with each other all over the world for free. © Pexels The App Store was a game changer for the iPhone and the iPad that was later mimicked by Google and other companies, who are yet to match up to Apple's service and platform. The App Store also gave thousands of developers the opportunity to make money that encourages even more developers to release interesting and unique apps. Today, there is an app for almost everything. © Zomato You can communicate with your loved ones or manage your financial portfolios or simply order food via an app. There are apps that let people track their health and provide exercise routines to lead a healthier life, or let people shop for products on the go without even having to go to the mall. © Pexels In many ways, the App Store changed our lives. The App Store is currently Apple's strongest business and there's no slowing it down. The App Store generated $33 billion in revenue for Apple last year and has paid out more than $100 billion to developers in the past decade. There is no doubt that the Apple Store has penetrated everyone's life in some way and we can expect the platform to grow even more than we can imagine. © PUBG The App Store was also responsible for introducing casual gaming to the world. The App Store currently has 7,83,269 games that can be played by Apple users on the go or in the comfort of their homes. Because of the App Store, people can download games for free anywhere and anytime they want. This not only killed the handheld gaming systems like the PlayStation Portable, it introduced us to a new era of casual gaming. © Evernote But not everything has to do with fun alone in the App store. Today, people work more efficiently thanks to numerous productive apps like Evernote and Slack. Today, I can take notes on the go or scan documents and send it in an email without even leaving my desk. Apple made it easy for people to communicate in a secure manner, thanks to the company's stringent security and privacy policy. The App Store allowed people to find better ways to create and work with efficiency for a decade and in our opinion, the introduction of the App Store was not only revolutionary but a much-needed tool for all of mankind.
