  1. If excessive sweating is what you face every day, we have your back. Anyone who sweats excessively tends to fret over sweat stains. We get it that it's a struggle, especially in this scorching heat. Not only does it affect your look, but also hampers your confidence level. Don't let it affect you in any way. Check out these fashion hacks for your wardrobe to keep the stench away, forever: © Facebook 1. Choose The Right Colours It seems like an excellent idea to wear light colours in this hot weather, but tbh, they don't do a great job at hiding those sweat stains. Light colours like white, grey or beige grab all the attention, but dark navy blue, black or brown will work out for you. © Getty Images 2. Opt For An Absorbent T-Shirt Worried about sweating through your entire look? Absorbent t-shirts are the exact summer saviours you were looking for. Yes, they can be worn underneath and are a sure shot way to keep the stains miles away! 3. Use Natural Fibers For Summers Instead of opting for nylon or polyester shirts, splurge on cotton or linen. They are a safe haven for men who sweat a lot. Natural fibers go a long way and are bound to make you feel less sweaty. Keep this suggestion in mind so you never mess up in an interview or on a date night! © Getty Images 4. Sweat Pads For The Win In case, you sweat a lot from your armpits, sweat pads are the fix you need. You can either stick them on your shirts or wear them directly with clean-shaven armpits. © Getty Images 5. Fix The Stains We all are aware of the disastrous stink of armpits. The sweaty patches tend to stick by for a longer period of time. Next time, before you throw your t-shirt to wash, apply a dab of lemon juice on the stain to eliminate the marks completely and stay fresh all summer long. © Getty Images 6. Opt For A Good Pair Of Shoes Sweaty feet invite trouble, not just for yourself, but also for the people around you. Let your feet breathe in this weather. Steer clear of canvas or plastic shoes and keep your feet rejuvenated at all hours. Wear cotton socks with lightweight formal shoes, sneakers. © Getty Images 7. Ditch Your Backpack Backpacks are your enemy as the sweat gates open up. They also weigh you down due to the whole world stowed in it. Keep yourself cool with messenger bags to lower down the burden on your back, thus lessening the chances of sweat stains. © Getty Images
  2. While we've been waiting for winter in 'Game of Thrones', summer has pretty much reached a melting point at home. It's at a stage where we only step out in the sweltering heat for emergencies. And unfortunately, one of those emergencies includes going to work and being able to pay our bills. Stepping out in the sun, especially in your formal attire, is not an easy task. You don't want sweat patches on your shirt before you reach work or the cheap material of your shirt to create a stench no amount of deodorant would be able to help. That's where you need to play smart and create a new summer wardrobe of breathable fabrics like cotton and linen. To help you do just that, we've picked the must-haves from this year's Summer Collection at Arvind Stores. Add These Ready To Wear Light-Weight Shirts To Your Closet Made of cotton-viscose, these shirts are essential to your summer survival kit. Not only are the fabrics breathable, they also give you the confidence you need to make an impression at work. Available in radiant hues and textures, there are plenty of options to choose from. Arvind Stores Ditch The Denim For Chinos Don't even think about stepping out in your denim. Trust me, you'd want to go for the light-weight and super comfortable chinos instead. Not only are these dapper pants perfect for a brunch setting, but they also look good as formal wear. If you want to take it a notch higher, you can add their structured blazer (meant for the summer) to the look. Suit Up Without A Sweat If you want to make a solid impression this appraisal season or have to attend a wedding, there are plenty of summer suit options to choose from. You can either go for the Urban Solace suit that features a range of suits created from a blend of cotton and Tencel or opt for their Suit with Stretch options. Arvind's Suit with Stretch allows maximum motion and flexibility with breathable fabrics and minimal discomfort. Another option is their Dobby Suit collection. Made up of summer pastel shades and geometric patterns and texture, the Dobby Suit is something that can never go wrong. The Arvind Stores SS 19' collection is as versatile as it is comfortable. For those you who haven't checked it out yet, let me warn you that you'll never go back to your basics. They not only have summer ready-to-wear looks in every print and pattern, but also offer made-to-measure outfits. With their soft and skin-friendly fabrics, you can finally #LiveFree this summer.
  3. OnePlus flagship phone, the OnePlus 6T, is a powerful smartphone. It's one of the most affordable flagship phones you can buy right now, and it can handle almost everything you throw at it. If you don't believe us, then wait till you see what a Dutch hacker name Bas Timmer did. Timmer, who's recently ported Windows on Arm (WoA) on the OnePlus 6T, posted a video on Twitter showing the PC version of 'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2' running on the OnePlus 6T. Yes, you heard it right. The video shows a OnePlus 6T smartphone running the full Windows version of the game. The hacker made it a point to clarify that he used Windows on Arm to make it happen. Here, see the video for yourself - Watch out for the most 'why would you even think of doing this' crossover gameplay video combining WoA with a modification for a formerly-popular FPS series, running live in XTA + Adreno drivers. pic.twitter.com/zBR6FcqPQl — NTAuthority (@NTAuthority) April 8, 2019 As you can see, the video shows Timmer starting the game and entering the popular Rust level. Of course, the game isn't running as smooth as it would on a proper gaming rig, but it seems to be holding up pretty darn good. In fact, the game appears to be running at over 30 FPS, although he didn't really show a proper session of gameplay. © Call Of Duty That being said, the fact that he was able to get the game even running is incredibly cool. Remember, 'Modern Warfare 2' is quite a demanding title, and being able to run on OnePlus 6T shows exactly how powerful the phone really is. Timmer will apparently be posting more info about this, and we can't wait to learn how he did it, and play it ourselves.
  4. Let's talk about sports and grooming going hand in hand for a second. Sports is an intense field and if you engage with it, it leaves you all sweaty and messed up. However, some men know how to clean up well even on the field and even after a long and tiresome match they still look on point. So here is list of Indian sports men that really know their grooming men. 1. Ishant Sharma © Getty Images While Ishant Sharma might have been punished for having long hair in school, he's really turned it around as an adult. His shoulder length mane adds a certain character to his personality. Imagine Ishant Sharma without this hair! Well, we can't either. 2. Virat Kohli © Getty Images Not that Virat Kohli didn't look great before his days with Anushka Sharma, but we feel since she has stepped into his life, he's really understood the importance of grooming, maintaining the perfect hairstyle and a beard style that looks like a million bucks on him. 3. Hardik Pandya © Getty Images Now, we know that he's received a lot of flak recently for his controversial 'Koffee With Karan' comments, however the guy does clean up well. We can't really question that, can we? 4. Sunil Chhetri © Getty Images Apart from being the striker/winger and captains for both the Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC and the Indian national football team, Sunil Chhetri also sports a stunning haircut. 5. Sandesh Jhingan © Getty Images Sandesh Jhingan is the defender for Kerala Blasters FC of the Indian Super League and the Indian football team. He is a good example of showing that even messy hair can look really good if you're comfortable in your skin. 6. K.L.Rahul © MensXP K.L Rahul is another cricketer we wish we got grooming lessons from. His look is very cleverly put together, so it looks effortless and clean.
  5. There is some great news for Netflix regulars out there. If you've caught the scariest horror/thriller show on Netflix last month, get ready to watch the second season soon! Yes, that's right. 'Haunting Of The Hill House' , the show that gave us goosebumps for all of its 10 episodes, is likely to come out with its second season soon and we're doing anything but keeping our chill, upon hearing about this! © FlanaganFilm The series was released last month in October and it was seemingly based on Shirley Jackson's 1959 novel. People who watched it, including me, freaked out completely but were in awe of the concept and the storyline. But I wasn't the only one freaking out while watching it. There were reports of people passing out while watching the show and of cast members seeing 'things' while filming the show as well. What do you expect if you make a horror that's not only visually terrifying but psychologically alluring as well! © FlanaganFilm But that's not the best part. The best part is, if you were traumatised by the earlier season then brace yourself to be traumatised once again because news is director Mike Flanagan is now aiming to come back with a second season, in the form of an anthology, where actors will come back to experiment with different characters from the show. Isn't that scary and exciting all at once? According to Carla Gugino, the one who played Olivia Crain, Mike is definitely going with the notion of an anthology and everyone will be coming back together to partake in the series. "I think he feels like he has told the complete story of the Crain family. But if I was invited and I was able to, I would really love to, just because I do love to collaborate with him." she told a popular publication. © Twitter Even Micheal Huisman who plays Steve Crain gave us a little hint of assurance that there might be a spin-off of some sort to bring the second season in. "Well, you know what, very early on, when we were still shooting this show, we had conversations about what a second season could look like. I think that one of the crazy things about Mike is that he is an infinite well of ideas and stories. I don't think he ever sleeps. There are possibilities - if the show is a hit - to create a second season and still be in this world of Hill House."But I could also totally see [Flanagan] pitch an idea where we just do a spin-off. Film an anthology series and take it in a completely different direction. We have to wait and see." - Micheal revealed to a popular publication. © FlanaganFilm Meanwhile, while the actors and directors are figuring out season 2 of HELL house, why don't you do a complete re-do of season one, just so you don't forget the important parts and maybe give yourself a scare every once a while? I mean sometimes you do tend to store things that you'd rather forget in your subconscious and I believe it's time to bring those things out into your conscious mind! After all, we only live once don't we! Watch the trailer here
  6. It's a commonly-known fact that body odour affects one and all. For men suffering from BO, they either need a medical intervention or a few basic practices they need to indulge in daily. Take for example, when you're working out at the gym, you're bound to sweat a lot. Result? An odour that may be a little too unpleasant sometimes. But well, while sweating is natural, the odour can't be controlled to quite an extent. Here are a few habits to adopt that might help you in maintaining a stink-free workout session! 1. Clean Up Before A Workout © Reuters A basic cleansing ritual before heading to the gym is vital. BO is caused by odour-causing bacteria, so step 1 is to eliminate them (or at least try to). Take a quick shower before a workout, and even after, in case you end up sweating profusely. If nothing, at least clean your most odour-causing parts of the body (like armpits, crotch, knee pits and feet) with a mild soap (or shower gel) and water. Once done, pat the area completely dry to avoid any moisture to accumulate. 2. Antiperspirant To The Rescue © Amazon India We cannot emphasize the importance of applying an antiperspirant before a workout. While talcum powder prevents sweating, antiperspirants control body odour and ensure your armpits don't stink (or stop stinking over time). So, simple: buy an antiperspirant that suits your skin. Opt for ones that have natural ingredients like green tea extracts, castor oil or aloe vera gel. Buy our suggestion here! 3. What You Wear Matters © Reuters If you thought your apparel choices don't play a role in your body odour, wake up. While from a fitness point of view, tight-fitted clothes are great, they also result in sweat sitting on the weave for long, creating bacteria and well, bad odour. As a recommendation, invest heavily in performance-enhanced fabrics (like Gore-Tex, X-Static), sweat-absorbing variants and in general, turn to breathable cotton or cotton-blends that'll allow your body to be at ease too, while working out. Tencel, spandex, or polypropylene are great options too. 4. Hand Towels © Reuters Besides a sipper/water bottle, you must always carry a hand towel with you to the gym. Hand towels (made of light cotton fabrics) can be used mid-workout to dry off the sweaty areas of your body. Why? By keeping your body (especially armpits) clean and dry, you can keep them from smelling bad. But remember to wash your towel after each workout. 5. Watch What You Eat Foods like garlic and onion (that have a strong odour) tend to cause body odour, as well as bad breath. So reduce excessive consumption of anything edible that give out unpleasant smells, besides cutting down on spicy food items that can excessively activate your sweat glands. A lot of guys prefer a protein-rich diet before a workout, so go for it! Opt for bananas or oats instead of eggs to avoid bad breath, but all in all, consult your dietitian for best results.
