ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsLet's talk about sports and grooming going hand in hand for a second. Sports is an intense field and if you engage with it, it leaves you all sweaty and messed up. However, some men know how to clean up well even on the field and even after a long and tiresome match they still look on point. So here is list of Indian sports men that really know their grooming men. 1. Ishant Sharma © Getty Images While Ishant Sharma might have been punished for having long hair in school, he's really turned it around as an adult. His shoulder length mane adds a certain character to his personality. Imagine Ishant Sharma without this hair! Well, we can't either. 2. Virat Kohli © Getty Images Not that Virat Kohli didn't look great before his days with Anushka Sharma, but we feel since she has stepped into his life, he's really understood the importance of grooming, maintaining the perfect hairstyle and a beard style that looks like a million bucks on him. 3. Hardik Pandya © Getty Images Now, we know that he's received a lot of flak recently for his controversial 'Koffee With Karan' comments, however the guy does clean up well. We can't really question that, can we? 4. Sunil Chhetri © Getty Images Apart from being the striker/winger and captains for both the Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC and the Indian national football team, Sunil Chhetri also sports a stunning haircut. 5. Sandesh Jhingan © Getty Images Sandesh Jhingan is the defender for Kerala Blasters FC of the Indian Super League and the Indian football team. He is a good example of showing that even messy hair can look really good if you're comfortable in your skin. 6. K.L.Rahul © MensXP K.L Rahul is another cricketer we wish we got grooming lessons from. His look is very cleverly put together, so it looks effortless and clean.
There is some great news for Netflix regulars out there. If you've caught the scariest horror/thriller show on Netflix last month, get ready to watch the second season soon! Yes, that's right. 'Haunting Of The Hill House' , the show that gave us goosebumps for all of its 10 episodes, is likely to come out with its second season soon and we're doing anything but keeping our chill, upon hearing about this! © FlanaganFilm The series was released last month in October and it was seemingly based on Shirley Jackson's 1959 novel. People who watched it, including me, freaked out completely but were in awe of the concept and the storyline. But I wasn't the only one freaking out while watching it. There were reports of people passing out while watching the show and of cast members seeing 'things' while filming the show as well. What do you expect if you make a horror that's not only visually terrifying but psychologically alluring as well! © FlanaganFilm But that's not the best part. The best part is, if you were traumatised by the earlier season then brace yourself to be traumatised once again because news is director Mike Flanagan is now aiming to come back with a second season, in the form of an anthology, where actors will come back to experiment with different characters from the show. Isn't that scary and exciting all at once? According to Carla Gugino, the one who played Olivia Crain, Mike is definitely going with the notion of an anthology and everyone will be coming back together to partake in the series. "I think he feels like he has told the complete story of the Crain family. But if I was invited and I was able to, I would really love to, just because I do love to collaborate with him." she told a popular publication. © Twitter Even Micheal Huisman who plays Steve Crain gave us a little hint of assurance that there might be a spin-off of some sort to bring the second season in. "Well, you know what, very early on, when we were still shooting this show, we had conversations about what a second season could look like. I think that one of the crazy things about Mike is that he is an infinite well of ideas and stories. I don't think he ever sleeps. There are possibilities - if the show is a hit - to create a second season and still be in this world of Hill House."But I could also totally see [Flanagan] pitch an idea where we just do a spin-off. Film an anthology series and take it in a completely different direction. We have to wait and see." - Micheal revealed to a popular publication. © FlanaganFilm Meanwhile, while the actors and directors are figuring out season 2 of HELL house, why don't you do a complete re-do of season one, just so you don't forget the important parts and maybe give yourself a scare every once a while? I mean sometimes you do tend to store things that you'd rather forget in your subconscious and I believe it's time to bring those things out into your conscious mind! After all, we only live once don't we! Watch the trailer here
It's a commonly-known fact that body odour affects one and all. For men suffering from BO, they either need a medical intervention or a few basic practices they need to indulge in daily. Take for example, when you're working out at the gym, you're bound to sweat a lot. Result? An odour that may be a little too unpleasant sometimes. But well, while sweating is natural, the odour can't be controlled to quite an extent. Here are a few habits to adopt that might help you in maintaining a stink-free workout session! 1. Clean Up Before A Workout © Reuters A basic cleansing ritual before heading to the gym is vital. BO is caused by odour-causing bacteria, so step 1 is to eliminate them (or at least try to). Take a quick shower before a workout, and even after, in case you end up sweating profusely. If nothing, at least clean your most odour-causing parts of the body (like armpits, crotch, knee pits and feet) with a mild soap (or shower gel) and water. Once done, pat the area completely dry to avoid any moisture to accumulate. 2. Antiperspirant To The Rescue © Amazon India We cannot emphasize the importance of applying an antiperspirant before a workout. While talcum powder prevents sweating, antiperspirants control body odour and ensure your armpits don't stink (or stop stinking over time). So, simple: buy an antiperspirant that suits your skin. Opt for ones that have natural ingredients like green tea extracts, castor oil or aloe vera gel. Buy our suggestion here! 3. What You Wear Matters © Reuters If you thought your apparel choices don't play a role in your body odour, wake up. While from a fitness point of view, tight-fitted clothes are great, they also result in sweat sitting on the weave for long, creating bacteria and well, bad odour. As a recommendation, invest heavily in performance-enhanced fabrics (like Gore-Tex, X-Static), sweat-absorbing variants and in general, turn to breathable cotton or cotton-blends that'll allow your body to be at ease too, while working out. Tencel, spandex, or polypropylene are great options too. 4. Hand Towels © Reuters Besides a sipper/water bottle, you must always carry a hand towel with you to the gym. Hand towels (made of light cotton fabrics) can be used mid-workout to dry off the sweaty areas of your body. Why? By keeping your body (especially armpits) clean and dry, you can keep them from smelling bad. But remember to wash your towel after each workout. 5. Watch What You Eat Foods like garlic and onion (that have a strong odour) tend to cause body odour, as well as bad breath. So reduce excessive consumption of anything edible that give out unpleasant smells, besides cutting down on spicy food items that can excessively activate your sweat glands. A lot of guys prefer a protein-rich diet before a workout, so go for it! Opt for bananas or oats instead of eggs to avoid bad breath, but all in all, consult your dietitian for best results.
