ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsNetflix, as we all know, has strong local competition in some countries. Specifically, in India, the streaming service is trying unusual experiments such as low-cost mobile only plan to win people. On the same lines, Netflix is now testing Rs. 65 mobile-only weekly subscription plan in the country. That's right, Netflix is now testing a new plan in India, under which the users can now sign up for as low as Rs. 65 per week and access the entire catalogue of films and TV shows on the platform. It is, however, worth pointing out that this particular weekly plan does not offer HD or Ultra HD content. You'll have to shell out more for that. But hey, we're not really complaining, because it's the platform's cheapest plan. © Hindustan Times In an official statement, Netflix said, “We are always looking for ways to make Netflix more enjoyable and accessible. We will be testing different options in select countries where members can, for example, watch Netflix on their mobile device for a lower price and subscribe in shorter increments of time. Not everyone will see these options and we may never roll out these specific plans beyond the tests.” In addition to the Rs. 65 plan, Netflix also has three more weekly plans priced at Rs. 125, Rs. 165, and Rs. 200. Rs. 125 is the weekly version of the basic plan. It adds an extra screen to watch your content on. Alternatively, you can also opt for Rs. 165 or Rs. 200 plan and pay per week for extra screens and stream at better quality. © Unsplash Please note that these weekly plans are not yet live for all the users in the country as it's just an 'experiment' according to Netflix, but we think it's only a matter of time until these weekly plans go official.
