After the release of iOs 14.5, all apps must seek permission before they track a user between apps and websites. This move will reportedly cost Facebook millions of dollars as more and more people deny Facebook the right to track them. © Facebook Now Facebook is trying every trick in the book to get people to share their data with them including charging for their services. “To help people make a more informed decision, we're also showing a screen of our own, along with Apple's. It will provide more information about how we use personalized ads, which support small businesses and keep apps free. If you accept the prompts for Facebook and Instagram, the ads you see on those apps won't change. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. Agreeing to these prompts doesn't result in Facebook collecting new types of data. Calluses & Flaky Skin © iStock If you have flaky skin on your body or scalp, it's considered to be a good sign. Calluses are hardened layers that protect the skin against pressure. Flaky skin, on the other hand, sheds the older skin and generates a new one. Getting rid of flaky skin at home is possible. All you need to do is use a pumice stone, emery board or nail file to remove the layer of hard skin. Soak your hands or feet in warm water as it helps soften the calluses. 2. Ingrown Nails © iStock Ingrown nails happen when the edge of the toenails grow into the skin. This can cause issues like redness and swelling and while it's a common problem, this gross issue too can be dealt with in the comfort of your home. In case of excessive issue, it may need a professional's intervention. You can use apple cider vinegar as it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that can help deal with ingrown nails. Prepare a water bucket with 1/4th cup of apple cider vinegar and warm water. Soak your feet in it for at least 20 minutes and dry it, and you are done. 3. Eye Boogers © iStock It is normal to wake up with that sticky substance in the corner of your eyes. We all experience eye boogers. They are mucus that our eyes discharge. At night, when you go to sleep the eyes don't blink and that leads to a build-up of mucus. To get rid of it, you can opt for a warm compress, held over for at least 5 minutes on the eyes.   6. Passenger planes haven’t really changed much or look quite similar to jets people used to travel on in the late 1960s. Sure, there are some exceptions like the Concorde but then again that aeroplane was discontinued from service on April 10th 2003. The plane was a marvel when it came to supersonic travel speeds but it really wasn’t cost-effective for airlines to operate. Today, the best selling planes happen to be the narrow-body aircraft used for point-to-point travel. However, the future looks very different if we are to go by what aircraft manufacturers are working on. Air Travel is bound to change 30-50 years from now and here are some examples of aircraft that we might use for travel in the future: 1. Airbus Maveric © Airbus If you look from afar, this plane looks like a flying wedge and that’s because it uses a “Blended Wing Body” design. The design is still a concept at the moment and Airbus have tested a small scale remote-controlled drone to test the design’s viability. Airbus says the design has "great potential” since it does not have a traditional fuselage and the weight that comes with it. The blended wing body design is quite common to see in military aircraft and sooner or later it will trickle down to passenger aircraft as well. The radical design also might reduce emissions from air travel to half by 2050. 2. Flying-V © Delft Technology University The Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands have also designed a radical-looking aircraft that could be the future of air travel. The “Flying V’ is a new concept of long-haul passenger aircraft where passengers and cargo can be carried within the wings themselves. The entire plane is shaped like an arrowhead and will be cheaper to manufacture than a blended wing aircraft. The aircraft’s flight capabilities have been tested on a battery-powered drone that has a wingspan of 9ft. The test was a massive success and who knows we might even see Flying-V’s design become a reality soon. 3. Boom © BOOM As we mentioned before, Supersonic air travel has gone backwards ever since Concorde went out of service. Concorde was able to cross the Atlantic in about three hours from London, however it used up a lot of fuel and in turn, had tickets that used to cost more than most people’s full-year's wages. However, a Silicon Valley startup and Japan Airlines is looking to change that with Boom Supersonic. The commercial aircraft that is currently under development is expected to fly at speeds of Mach 2.2 with lower costs than the Concorde. 4. Spaceliner © DLR A concept project by DLR and the German Aerospace Research Institute, this spacecraft is expected to run somewhat similar to the Virgin Galactic. The craft will travel at the edge of the atmosphere so that it can go 25 times faster than the speed of sound. The Hole In The Ground This supernatural thriller tells the story of Sarah’s son, who disappears in the woods behind her house one night. After he returns, something eerie about him convinces her that perhaps it's not her son who returned. 3. I Trapped The Devil Nothing like mixing the element of Satan with Christmas! This one tells the tale of a couple who visit the man’s brother for Christmas for a family reunion, but are surprised to see a hostage in the basement , who he claims is the devil himself. 4. The Silence This is based on a dystopian theme where the world is under attack and a family is seeking refuge with their daughter who lost her hearing capacity when she was young. The twist in the tale happens when they meet a cult which is super interested in exploring the depth of the heightened senses and use it. 5. Tigers Are Not Afraid The ‘horror’ in this movie is basically not a ghost shifting around in corridors but the humans around us. This dark fairy tale narrates the story of a young girl who is abandoned by her mother and later joins a gang of street children who try to survive the violence of the big bad world around them. 6. Girl On The Third Floor This might not be a huge commercial success, but for many, this was a great watch. Although this is not strictly a song about the festival of colours, the Holi sequence that comes at the end of the song, is spectacular. Kartik’s and Sunny’s style was hip, minimal, and suave. 6. Tum Tak, Raanjhana Anand L Rai perfectly captured the ethos of Varanasi in Raanjhana. Just look at the Holi sequence in Tum Tak and you’ll know what we are on about. It captured the brutish nature of a Varanasi Holi in a great manner. Dhanush especially stood out in the sequence, because of how he paired a red chunni with basic T-shirts and pants. 5. Go Pagal, Jolly LLB 2 Jolly LLB 2’s Go Pagal is loud, brash, vibrant - all of this, all at the same time. This is how Holi used to be played in Uttar Pradesh, at least before the pandemic. What Akshay Kumar’s wearing is a more dignified version of how men would normally dress up - a buttoned-down shirt, a basic pair of jeans, and some dope looking sneakers. 4. Badri Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania The title track of the film is set around Holi, and boy oh boy, do we see Varun Dhawan dress up in something special. Now, do keep in mind, that what we saw Varun wear is tuned more towards a normal, and tame party, rather than the boisterous colour plays (colour wars, technically). Varun is seen first in a half-sleeved short kurta and a dope-looking bandi, and then a double-layered waistcoat. 3. Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, War The dance moves that we see in this song are just spectacular. That is what happens when two of the best dancers in Bollywood, are put next to each other. Stylewise, we have to say that although both Tiger and Hrithik were in a league of their own, Hrithik with his unstructured kurta, jeans and that red Rajasthani print dupatta, had a slight edge over Tiger. 2. Balam Pichkari, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani One of the peppiest song on this list, Balam Pichkari works for a number of reasons. The style is very simple and realistic and comprises of pieces that people wear every day. There are no “costumes” as such. Aditya Roy Kapoor & Ranbir Kapoor can exchange their outfits, and they will still look just as dope as they did in the song. 1. Lahu Munh Lag Gaya, Ram-Leela Of course, this song was going to be number 1 on this list. Even though Deepika looked stunning in this song, Ranveer was simply on fire.
