7 Hindi Movies Which Were Poorly Copied From Hollywood & Then Ruined For Fans

There is a difference between borrowing an idea and blatantly copying an idea, and sometimes Bollywood goes a notch higher when it takes up an English movie and remakes it with some bad ingredients. Not every copy is a success and here are seven Hindi movies which were poorly copied from Hollywood and then were absolutely ruined for fans. 1. Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi It was a YRF movie with clichéd elements like a big happy family, a pretty looking leading lady, lots of music and fantasy. Yet it failed to match the original spunk of My Best Friend's Wedding as Uday Chopra tried hard to recreate what Julia Roberts' character did in the original. 2. Murder In 2002, the Richard Gere starrer Unfaithful surprised fans with a bold script and really well-twisted plots. Come 2004, the famous Murder series marks its arrival with Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat in the lead. The one thing that surely worked for this was the kind of boldness that Bollywood was not acquainted with yet, and the great music which made it memorable. Still, it didn't match the original. 3. Deewane Huey Pagal This multi-starrer romantic comedy starring Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal chasing Rimi Sen as the girl they love was a dud at the box office and was a poor copy of There's Something About Mary which had Cameron Diaz play the woman who was being wooed by her suitors. 4. Main Aisa Hi Hoon A sensitive script lifted from I Am Sam about a doting father with disabilities trying to fight for the custody of his daughter. Ajay Devgn had some powerful scenes but it was nothing compared to the original which had Sean Penn in the lead. 5. God Tussi Great Ho You know a movie is a poor attempt of copying a brilliant script when a star cast of Big B, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra can also not save it from drowning. Borrowed completely from Jim Carrey's Bruce Almighty, this one was a major flop. 6. Brothers Except for looking at the great physiques of Sidharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar fighting it out in the ring, this movie was a lame copy of the original, Warrior, a story about two half brothers turning into mortal enemies in the ring. 7. Kucch To Hai A blatant copy of I Know What You Did Last Summer, this movie saw terrible acting from the leads Tusshar Kapoor and Esha Deol. View the full article -

Minimising the human errors, DRS gives an opportunity to both the batting and bowling side to attain a fair decision from the umpires. But, in the ongoing Pakistan Cup 2019, a cricketer became the butt of all jokes after calling for a DRS over a clear-cut dropped catch. For someone who was once compared with Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Pakistani batsman Ahmed Shehzad hasn't really lived up to the hype in recent times. © Twitter The right-hander's inconsistent performances saw him getting dropped from the Pakistani line-up. His last appearance in the Pakistani jersey dates back to June 2018 when he played in a T20 International (T20I) against Scotland. And then, a doping violation saw him getting banned for four months by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). But, if the sack from the national team wasn't enough to derail his reputation, Shehzad's latest antics further dented his rapport with cricket fans. During a clash between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federal Areas, the former were cruising in their chase of 269 runs when Khushdil Shah played a mighty heave towards deep midwicket. Shehzad, who was patrolling that region, got underneath the ball, but made an epic blunder to drop what looked like a regulation catch. Back in 2015, during a clash between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, Shehzad had dropped Lahiru Thirimanne, but told the on-field umpires that it was a clean take. However, the replays clearly showed that the ball had touched the ground. Heartbroken and sad, the boy rushed the chicken to the nearest hospital along with all the money he had. A picture showing the boy carrying the chick has since gone viral on social media. The silent plea for help on the kid's face is heartwarming. We hope this boy and many others grow up feeling for every living being around them, and grow up to be young men and women who respect and care for every life on earth. Struggling To Put On Muscle? Then Stop Making These 5 Mistakes

If you want to build muscle, there is a chance your gym guruji tells you this: 1. Train to failure ALL the time 2. Train one muscle group for hours always 3. Train hard till you are done After a while, it frustrates you when you apply the above things and you train hard, but you don't see any results. Well, I can understand because I have done these in the past. Guess what? You need to do some smart work and not just hard work. If you are doing any of the below things, take a step back and change things: 1) Doing Too Much Volume The first mistake is doing too much volume. The volume of your workout = sets x load x reps. Your total workload is the key to muscle growth, but doing too much actually hinders recovery and will stop your progress. Most people benefit from ~10-20 sets/muscle/week. Your actual volume depends on various individual factors like age, training experience, genetics, etc. A good rule of thumb is dropping your volume by 1/3rd to half to take a step back and slowly push it up to 20 sets per muscle group per week. 2) Doing Junk Volume Aka Very Light Lifting Along with too much volume, what's equally wrong is not going hard enough on each set. If you have 4 reps left for failure, you will be able to do much more volume because each set is so damn easy. I recommend doing each set ~1-2 reps from failure but sometimes more, sometimes less. 3) No Structured Plan If you don't have a plan and just walk into a gym, you may make progress. That doesn't mean your progress can't be better. When you have a plan, you reduce guesswork and can manage variables better. Have a set training plan for 4-6 weeks and get stronger in it than doing random workouts. 4. Doing 'Bro'- Splits It's okay to start with one muscle per day but not suitable for long-term progress. You either do too much volume which leaves you sore for your other sessions during the week or you are limiting growth by not taking advantage of elevated muscle protein synthesis. 5) Chasing The Pump Via Lightweights: Progressive overload means you do more work, and thus more volume, over time. Getting a pump causes muscle growth, but you will reach a point at which you have to increase the load/reps. So focus on doing more volume over time and do pump work at the end of your workouts and not your entire workout. 6) Not Applying A Wide Range Of Rep Scheme: Lastly, scientific research has shown that muscle growth can happen in a variety of rep ranges. Training in rep ranges outside of 8-12 reps can help you train different capacities and help push for progressive overload. So you can split your training in a broad spectrum from 3-30 reps. Reportedly, in his quest to meet Akshay, Ankit searched for the actor's address on Google and then travelled to Mumbai to meet him. When he was denied entry by the guards, he tried to break into his house post midnight, by jumping over the boundary wall. An officer said, "He climbed the wall at 1.30 am and entered.
