  1. Donât get fooled when they tell you that love is a feeling because hell no, it isnât! Itâs a f*cking experience that is going to feel as though you've got a special ticket to the nearest emergency room. The initial few months will be the best and worst of unlike anything you have experienced. Because if you didnât know each other for too long before getting into a relationship, the âhot-n-coldâ shit is going to mess with your head real bad. © Eros International From agonising palpitations of your heart to that 'fuzzy feeling' in the tummy, and sweaty palms to sleepless nights, expect it all to happen to you for good or bad. Sure, dating can get a bit messy at times if you happen to find yourself in one. But God damn, what wouldnât people give to live through this rollercoaster. © UTV Motion Pictures But honestly, despite what people would have you believe, trust me when I say that understanding your woman or the one you wish to make yours, isnât the difficult bit at all. Tricky maybe, but definitely not difficult. © RSPV But to get to a position to experience any of what I mentioned earlier, you have to have a relationship first, right? And in case you arenât in one right now, let me tell you, keeping in mind these 5 factors may help you crack the deal with your dream girl. 1. A Lot Can Happen Over A Cup Of Coffee © Dharma Productions You can never go wrong with coffee, well in 98.8 per cent of cases. Personally, there is something about the aroma of freshly-brewed coffee that is so heady and uplifting, it instantly puts me in a happy state of mind. Having said that, know that itâll take a lot for you to mess up a coffee date. According to a very recent survey by an international dating platform OkCupid, 85 per cent of millennials absolutely love the prospect of meeting someone at a coffee shop for their first date, and I can vouch for this. 2. Donât Try Too Hard, Go With The Flow © Fox Studios See, the simple trick here is to understand that too much of anything is bad. The same goes for the measures you take to impress her or land that second date for that matter. As many as 61 per cent of women believe love will happen when itâs meant to happen, so Iâd say donât try to push it down her throat. Be it with the compliments, small talk or even the gifts, little is more here. 3. Lay Low With The Hopes If You Donât Plan To Live Up To Them © AA Films Interestingly, the survey also found that while more than 80 per cent of women believe in finding âthe oneâ and sticking with them instead of exploring their options, 67 per cent of men would rather have multiple relationships before deciding. If you happen to agree to that, I suggest you keep things transparent from the very beginning and donât give them high hopes about a long term commitment, if that isnât where you want to be. 4. Leave Unrequited Love At The Door © T-Series Now, many of us have had our fair share of unrequited love woes, AND women are more likely to cut the chase as opposed to men who canât seem to let go. And honestly, its no fun being with a man who has left his heart elsewhere. So, Itâs better you make up your mind (or better yet, burn that bridge) about âthe love that wasnât meant to beâ before you decide to start dating another girl. 5. Leave Valentineâs Day Alone © RSVP Movies Most women would prefer to have had at least one previous date before you decide to hang out together on Valentineâs Day. So, my suggestion, stay away from planning your first date on V-Day simply because it can get a bit awkward and uneasy, to be honest. I suggest you keep these factors in mind before approaching your dream girl, and weâre sure some good will come out of it! View the full article
  2. Animals are better than humans, tbh. They're so pure that we truly do not deserve them. Recently, an orangutan's heartwarming gesture towards a forest warden won everyone's heart and it was just great that someone was able to capture it, so we can now see the incredible moment. Just look at it! © Anil Prabhakar/SWNS So, here goes the story behind this. This took place in a conservation forest area in Borneo, where endangered species are protected from getting hunted. The photographer of the picture, Anil Prabhakar, was just trekking with his friends while out on a safari when he saw this unusual incident. Basically, the man in the picture is a part of a non-profit organisation called the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation and was actually in the water to clear away snakes from it as they pose a threat to orangutans. © Anil Prabhakar/SWNS The interesting part, though, is that he apparently refused the helping hand since it was, at the end of the day, a wild animal, no matter how sweet the action was. Fair enough. Anil said, "Someone told him there was a snake in the river. The warden went there and cleared the bushes. An orangutan came to the banks and was watching what he was doing. He then came closer and gave his hand. The warden just moved away. I asked him why later and he said, 'It's a wild animal, not one we are familiar with.' But they are to protect them." People are obviously applauding the orangutan's thoughtful gesture and also are in awe of how the great moment was captured. Not us. Need a hand? Incredible moment orangutan reaches out to help a conservationist who looked stuck in the river as he cleared snakes from apes' habitat. How can one show kindness after what weâve done to them? Just who is the superior species? ï¸ð¦§https://t.co/JMNUCechYq â Xpose Trophy Hunting (@XposeTrophyHunt) February 7, 2020 They are the best. Yes Mo, it would be hard not to but itâs the right thing. The orangutan is wild, he could have passed it germs, or anything could have happened, risking harm or worse to either or both. 3. When we talk about a gym ensemble, the most important pieces would be a t-shirt, joggers and comfortable trainers. That being said, if there's someone who has been constantly serving us with all the motivation, it is Arjun Kapoor with his latest transformation and his impressive gym looks. View this post on Instagram Getting ready for the new decade with a smile on my face ð A post shared by Arjun Kapoor (@arjunkapoor) on Jan 2, 2020 at 10:33pm PST Sartorially speaking, Arjun has time and again proven his fashion prowess and turned heads with some impeccable ensembles. Then be it him wearing kurta pyjama with security tag sneakers or strutting in strange pants, he is ruling the fashion arena, lately. While his promotion looks are head-turning, even his gym looks are nothing less than an inspiration. © Viral Bhayani Arjun is now known for his fashion quotient and here's another proof of that. Recently, he was papped wearing buttoned joggers with super comfortable sneakers. We have to say he has established his claim of being the most fashionable at all hours. © Myntra He is wearing OG Adibreak Track Pants by Adidas Originals. The brand brings back the basketball silhouette of the 90s. The original making of these pants has now been modernised with recycled polyester. Furthermore, these pants feature contrast panel with metal snaps from ankle to waist. © Myntra This product minimises the environmental impact with its recycled fabric which truly makes it an exemplary choice. Not just that, these track pants are available on many e-commerce websites for Rs. 4,000. Now, that's what we call affordable. © Amazon Coming to his sneakers, Arjun looked zany with his Asics FuzeX Lyte 2. Just as the name suggests, this pair snugs well and is super light on the feet. You can strut wearing them wherever you like, even snug in your bed! The seamless construction causes less friction with its fuzeGEL technology. © Viral Bhayani Even the sneakers are inexpensive and cost about Rs. 4,000 approximately. And since we are constantly hunting for an affordable pair of sneakers for the gym, we guess this one is it! Truly, we love how Arjun is refashioning his gym look and making it relatable for us. Well done! View the full article

  5. Very recently, Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo revealed that once his body tells him that it had enough of football and it was time for him to hang his super expensive boots, he would want to try his hand at acting. "One of the things that I seek to challenge myself in, for example, is acting in a movie," he said at the Dubai International Sports Conference on Saturday night. "The moment my body is no longer responding in the right way on the field, then it would be the time to leave. © Reuters "I hope I live more than 50 years to learn new things and face different challenges and try to find solutions for them,” he added. "The love of football is the main motive in achieving all the titles I ever won," he added. "There are no special miracles or secrets in my success story or any other success story. Rather, it is a great dedication to what you do. "At the age of 34, I still have that fitness through diligence and hard work to get titles." But the man has already had a pretty amazing career in theatrics and has successfully been able to convince the viewers of the existence of things that actually did not take place on the ground during his decade and a half long career. Here are some one his best performances: 1. Ronaldo Magnificent Dive Vs Ivory Coast (World Cup 2010) Right in front of the referee's eyes, Ronaldo took a massive dive off a negligible pat on the back by Ivorian defender. 2. Ronaldo's Flop Makes Lampard Laugh Taking on Chelsea great Frank Lampard in a one-on-one situation, Ronaldo took the “Great Fall”. Without even getting in contact with the Englishman, he flaps his limbs like a chicken and falls on the grass. Lampard couldn't help but laugh at his opponents acting skills before walking away. 3. Cristiano Ronaldo's Gilardino Dive Vs Iran Cristiano Ronaldo lives and dies by one rule: If you don't get the ball; fall. And that's why he decided to fall after 3-4 steps after contact. 4. Best (Worst) Dive Of His Career? Many think that the dive he took against AC Milan in 2010 was the one he put a lot of effort in. The expressions, his eyes looking out for a referee who saw the contact and the roll… Oh, that glorious roll. 5. Dive For Juventus You'd think that things like diving and flopping are the kind of things elite players would do at the beginning of their careers. Well at least not once they have achieved the status of an all-time great, right? Think again. View the full article

  7. If you're in your twenties and constantly feel lost or confused and think your life is weirder than a bizarre Bollywood love story, we're here to tell you that you're not alone. It's going to be okay, my friend as you're just undergoing a 'quarter-life crisis.' Most people in their twenties are often confused about their careers, love life and life, in general. Maybe, your life is falling apart in front of your eyes but trust me, it will get better. Before you start overthinking, here are a few signs that'll tell you if you're undergoing a quarter-life crisis and how to fix it: 1. You're Feeling Trapped © Unsplash This happens to everyone who is stuck between freedom and early adulthood as you're transitioning from practising independence to commitment. If you've committed to something at an early age, be it your work or a relationship, feeling trapped is 'okay'. How to fix it? Rather than quitting your job or giving up on your relationship, the best way is to identify the problem and work on a solution. It might sound like a lot of work but trust us, there is no shortcut. 2. You're Constantly Worrying That You're Not Earning Enough © Unsplash The chances are that you're not earning enough. But remember, you are just in your twenties but are stressing like you're in your forties. It is paramount to earn enough and fulfill your dreams but it is also important to work at your own pace and not be part of the rat race. Your achievements and your learning curve isn't the only thing that makes your identity. There is so much more. How to fix it: Rather than focusing on how much you earn, focus on developing and evolving your work skills. Working on self-development will automatically enable you to reach where you've always wanted to reach. Quit procrastinating and jump onto the right track. 3. You're Perpetually Bored © Unsplash If you feel bored all the time, chances are that you're looking for a change and you're just not enjoying your regular schedule anymore. You can also feel bored or worked up in your relationship and it is normal to feel this way. How to fix it: The brainchild is to start doing what you actually like doing. If you don't know what you want to do, it's about time you make a list of things that you've always wanted to do. You can always start doing new things with your significant other to make things more romantic and interesting. Take that cooking lesson you've always wanted to take, join that dance class, hit the gym or take those acting classes that have been on your bucket list ever since. 4. You Dream About Plans That You'll Never Execute © Unsplash This happens with every one and this shouldn't be a big deal, honestly. The problem arises when you're only dreaming and not working on anything and that is called 'procrastinating' and you need to stop doing that. There is no better way but to just do the things that you plan to do unless you're planning on murdering someone. (Okay, please don't ever execute that plan!) How to fix it: Just execute them or don't make grand plans in the first place. It's like writing a to-do list and then not doing it. So, don't make a to-do list in the first place if you are not going to do it at all. 5. You're Unsure About Your Purpose In Life © Unsplash It used to be so simple in school. All we had to do was complete our homework and show up in class. Now, suddenly, we have to unleash a purpose that we are born for, why? How to fix it: It is rather difficult to find just one purpose in life. With the advent of learning to multitask, there is a chance that we've multiple purposes and as far as you are happy, you don't really have to have the ultimate and single purpose in life. 8. Normally, when a cricketer moves away from the game on an “indefinite sabbatical”, people don't fret too much over him and the athlete eventually fades away from the headlines in a couple of months. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not just another cricketer. He has been one of the greatest to have led the Bleed Blue Army. His athleticism, even at 38 years of age, is manifolds better than that of international cricketers 10 years younger than him; his unique ways of making things work out for Team India, his ability to stay calm under extremely crucial moments in big games and his skills as a wicket-keeper batsman make him a once-in-a-generation player. Everything he does off the field, his love and respect for the Indian Army, his donations and selfless work for the betterment of the society make him an exceptional human being off the field as well. Everything that Dhoni does feels great. GOD can't be everywhere so he made Mahendra Singh Dhoni https://t.co/hdvcSctdvz — Prachi Das (@PrachiNotDesai) October 19, 2019 However, there is nobody, not even Mahi, that's bigger than the game. Ever since the former skipper moved away from his roles as a Man in Blue after the disappointing exit from ICC World Cup 2019, the world has been puzzled about his return to the game and what exactly is going on in the mysterious mind of 'Captain Cool'. And when he extended his leave from the Indian dressing room in November, it only infuriated the fans of Indian cricket even more. Finally, last week, Dhoni made a comment about his future. He said, “January tak mat poocho (don't ask me till January),” moving his comeback date forward by another two months. "Okay bye, Don't ask me till January" ð This is how Dhoni responded when reporter questioned about his future plans at yesterday's event. ðâ¤ï¸ pic.twitter.com/XT1uB8D7Tt — DHONIsm™ â¤ï¸ (@DHONIism) November 28, 2019 Just like in a relationship, it might be too late for Dhoni to comeback and the Indian cricket team might already have moved on with someone younger like Rishabh Pant or Wriddhiman Saha. On Friday, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly spoke to the Indian media on his thoughts of Dhoni's timeline to return and whether he will be a part of the T20 World Cup or not. Dada simply said, “Please ask MS Dhoni.” In response, he said, "Please ask #MSDhoni." The former skipper recently said that till January he won't answer questions on his cricketing future. #Dhoni has been out of action since India's semifinal exit from #WC2019.#sauravganguly — newsblunt (@newsbluntmedia) December 1, 2019 "There is clarity, but certain things cannot be said on public platform. There is absolute clarity on MS Dhoni and you'll find out in time," Ganguly said. Maybe the "clarity" only suggests that Dhoni's breakup with Team India is going to be as anti-climactic as it gets. Given his quiet and noiseless nature, this could be the way the former skipper wanted to move away from the game, maybe forever this time. View the full article
  9. Kartik Aaryan is no stranger when it comes to some really alluring footwear. From some of the zaniest and insane desert boots to an equally zany pair of sneakers that seemed to be held together with pins and straps, he has pulled it all off. This time again, while promoting his upcoming film, Pati Patni Aur Woh, which releases on the December 6, he was spotted in a rather cool, deconstructed, or rather, destroyed pair of boots. But first, letâs get to his outfit. Kartik is wearing a rather hipster-looking hooded sweatshirt from Hummel. The sweatshirtâs colour palette, as understated as it is, goes really well with the all-white and distressed pair of denim that he is wearing. The outfit gives him a really cool and laid back aesthetic, almost as if he is trying to emulate the appearance of a rapper. A really cool and dapper way to dress up for the street, if you ask us. Finally, coming to his shoes, Kartik is seen wearing one of the best pairs of high-top lace-up boots that we have seen this year. Perhaps, the fact that these boots have a velvet finish, is what makes them so appealing. The particular pair that Kartik is seen wearing is the 6 Inch Textile Boots from Timberland and comes courtesy of their collaboration with Off White Virgil Abloh. These Off White X Timberland Textile Boots retail for about $450 or roughly Rs 33,000 on GOAT. Primarily made of nubuck leather, the boots have a very technical and functional clothing vibe, which sits really well with most streetwear outfits, irrespective of the theme. It seems Kartik and his stylists have played around with aesthetic elements such as extra laces and the leather tags of the boot. Considering that it is these very embellishments that give any Off White and Virgil Abloh piece its value and significance, we have to say that removing them was a rather ballsy move. Well, to each his own. All weâll say is that the boots look super zany and awesome. Great going, Kartik! View the full article
  10. A pair of axe-wielding thieves pulled off what might be the greatest art heist in decades, after breaking into one of Europe's most valuable vaults and escaping with treasures worth upwards of $1 billion. The heist took place at Grünes Gewölbe (The Green Vault), a museum in Dresden, Germany. Dresden has been a historical capital of culture and the arts for Germany, surviving through horrific bombings during World War 2 and retaining a legacy that has lasted since the early 1700s. It has since been used as a display venue for a collection of about 3,000 antique jewellery pieces, and many consider it to be one of the oldest and most valuable collections in the world. So How Did They Do It? At the heart of any good heist story is a good plan, and the people behind this theft were clearly well-prepared to deal with potential challenges. The plan was set into motion at 4am on a Monday morning, when the thieves set a controlled fire at Dresden's Augustus Bridge. © There has been a bridge at this very spot for nearly ten centuries - a testament to Dresden's rich culture. (Wikimedia) The fire was a carefully planned move to destroy a nearby power box. Once the unit failed, it cut off power to all security systems in the museum, except for the CCTV cameras. Soon, the thieves snuck their way towards the 'Jewel Room' window, cut its iron bars off, and entered the vault within. NEW: Surveillance video from Dresden's Green Vault museum shows the moment two thieves smash open a cabinet before stealing three historic jewelry sets reportedly valued over $1 billion https://t.co/R810RswOdt pic.twitter.com/BaNHmfTkjv — CBS Evening News (@CBSEveningNews) November 25, 2019 The Jewel Room itself had 10 sets of priceless jewelry, three of which were nabbed after the thieves smashed their casings with axes. The stolen items include the diamond-laden breast star of the Polish Order of the White Eagle, a hat clasp with a 16-carat diamond, a diamond epaulet and a diamond-studded hilt containing nine large and 770 smaller diamonds, along with a matching scabbard. That's a lot of goddamn diamonds. According to German tabloid Bild, the jewels are worth around $1.1 billion, or nearly Rs 8,000 Crores. Marion Ackermann, General Director of Dresden's state art collections, said it was likely impossible to estimate the price of the stolen items due to their historic cultural value. The loot could have been even more ludicrous if the museum's 41-carat 'Dresden Green Diamond' wasn't on loan to New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art - the incredibly rare gem was mined from Kollur in Andhra Pradesh some 300 years ago. Taking off with the goods, the thieves fled the crime scene just about an hour after beginning the heist, at 5 AM. Naturally, the heist has drawn immense interest on the internet. Many people were taken aback by how easy the heist actually seemed: In this age and times they still keep valuables behind 2mm glass? — Thomas Okumu (@okumu_thomas) November 25, 2019 I thought they use cutting edge laser technology for glass, doors and wall. Still a hammer works ð pic.twitter.com/H6tHwbPBY6 — chandrasekhar (@sekhar11235) November 26, 2019 While others inevitably drew some movie comparisons - this story is right out of a Hollywood blockbuster, after all. :) pic.twitter.com/ssgrSe4vkd — Marcin WÄtrobiÅski (@mar_watrobinski) November 25, 2019 Many compared the heist to the wildly popular Oceans series. The ensemble-cast thriller starring Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon and more centers itself around high-profile heists - usually in casinos. What's truly fascinating however, is that the value stolen by these 'Dresden thieves' amounts to nearly thrice the amount stolen in Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve combined! via GIPHY Currently, police and the public at large are speculating who the mastermind behind the heist is. No prime suspects are currently in play, though. View the full article
  11. Irrespective of whether you stay in Delhi or not, most people across the country have heard the story of Sarvjeet Singh Bedi by now. The story of injustice, online abuse, defamation and innumerable court hearings that went on for at least four years. Sarvjeet's story also taught the society one of the biggest lessons - don't jump to any conclusion or start judging someone if you don't know the whole story (irrespective of gender). But, in case the message wasn't clear enough, someone made a song called 'Fake Case Song | Men too Anthemm' featuring Sarvjeet Singh Bedi to create awareness on how a man was "treated as guilty until proven innocent". From getting arrested, rushing to the court to even thinking of committing suicide in his quest to prove his innocence, this video tries to convey the message of 'Men Too'. To refresh your memories, in 2015 a woman named Jasleen Kaur posted a picture of Sarvjeet on social media, accusing him of harassing and threatening her. Within minutes, the post went viral, and people on social media tagged Sarvjeet as 'Dilli Ka Darinda', 'rapist', 'monster' and what not. The whole nation including Delhi CM Arvind Kerjiwal and people on social media supported and stood next to Jasleen and against Sarvjeet, without listening to his side of story. © YouTube Sarvjeet lost his job, was held in police custody unjustly, had to rush to the court each time he was summoned, and Jasleen was missing all this while. Finally, Sarvjeet was acquitted after four long traumatic years of struggle after the court found him innocent. We don't say or mean that every case where a woman accuses a man of harassing her is fake, but there are still certain cases where men were wrongly accused by women which is horrible and unjustified. However, it's a humble request for men and women across the country to not trivialise the movement when more and more women are mustering courage and coming forward to share their stories. 12. Instagram began to hide the number of users who have liked your posts earlier this week. According to reports, the social media app said it's part of an on-going effort to create a less stressful experience and the feature was made available to a few users in the US. But it looks like, the company has decided to go global with its efforts. On Thursday, Instagram announced to expand the 'Private Like Count' test globally, including India. According to Vishal Shah, Vice President of Product, Instagram, the feedback of the test has been pretty positive and they've hence decided to test it globally. © Reuters According to a report in Hindustan Times, Vishal said, "While the feedback from early testing has been positive, this is a fundamental change to Instagram, so we're continuing our test to learn more from our global community." Users who are a part of this test will continue to see the number of likes and views their posts and videos get. It's their followers who won't be able to see any of that number. Is it a good thing? Well, it depends on the kind of user you really are. The folks over at The Guardian reported that influencers saw the "like" counts fall during the test though. In a way, the number of likes and views on your posts shows the level of engagement your posts can get. Obviously, if you have more engagement, then more brands would want to partner with you for promoting their products and services. But if hiding the "like" count is affecting the engagement, then this could be something to worry about. © Reuters We're not entirely sure how it's affecting the users here in India or how the popular users are reacting to it just yet, but we'll soon learn more as the test starts reaching more users here. The influencer market is a lot bigger than you think it is, so this is actually a startling shift for many which could change the way users use the platform. 14. Ever since Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton shared his “worries” about how human beings were on the verge of extinction, a lot of criticism came towards the athlete's way because of the profession he is in. i am lewis hamilton, lewis hamilton is me pic.twitter.com/PTOqMM3aEu — ðððð (@lovelyleclerc) October 15, 2019 While Hamilton talked about how important it is to turn vegan and live a life with zero carbon footprint, his critics called him out for all the carbon dioxide that comes from the super-fast cars, that he and numerous others use throughout the year while racing around in circles to win some money and shiny silver trophies. A single formula 1 car emits 17 tons of carbon dioxide a year. So F1 is dull and bad for the planet too! — Jonathan Baldwin â (@jbaldwin) April 1, 2009 Well, Formula One as a whole has finally decided to listen to their environment-friendly fans and have officially announced a plan to go 100 percent carbon neutral by the year 2030. The sport is a lot more dangerous to our Ozone than we think. It is not just the cars that emit an enormous amount of CO2, but also some of the other aspects such as travelling and establishing brand-specific centers at the location of these races turn out to be equally damaging. Even before the F1 cars turn on their fuel guzzling engines, the teams spend over seven million gallons of jet fuel in one season which leads to carbon dioxide emission worth 147 million pounds! © Reuters Considering the fact that the league hopes to make all their carbon-reduction projects sustainable by 2025 and invent the first ever “net-zero carbon hybrid internal combustion engine” around the same time, it feels like a good step but have we run out of time to make such amendments? According to a NASA report, human beings have made such an adverse impact on the environment that global warming will continue at the rate of 6 °C (10.8 °F) on average for decades if not centuries even if we completely stop emitting greenhouse gases. So even if an organisation like Formula One, which is one of the major contributors of CO2 emissions, becomes successful in curbing the adversities following the tracks of their six-time world champion in Hamilton, how big of a difference would that make? Negligible at best? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. View the full article

But, Motorola has now decided to bring back the classic 'razr' phone as a foldable device. Yes, you read that right. Motorola has resurrected the classic flip phone as a foldable Android phone. It's like a modern spin on the iconic phone and here's what it looks like - You're gonna flip! #razr #bethefirst #motorolarazr #feeltheflip https://t.co/Ay4BnJ0TVS pic.twitter.com/31ocA3Ybx2 — Motorola Global (@Moto) November 14, 2019 Looks pretty cool, right? As you can see, the overall form factor of the phone is more or less the same, but they have replaced the T9 keypad and the LCD display with a single display that folds from the middle. This is a plastic OLED panel, but Motorola has managed to make it fold without a visible crease in the middle. As for the specs though, we think Motorola could have done a better job. They're simply banking on the nostalgia factor here, hoping that people would pay the price to go back in time and feel the flip. © Motorola The Motorola Razr sports a 6.2-inch 21:9 plastic OLED panel inside that fold in half along the horizontal axis. There's also a smaller 2.7-inch panel inside which Motorola is referring to as a 'QuickView' display. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for the battery, the phone packs a 2510mAh battery with 15W TurboPower charging and runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. In terms of the optics, the Razr phone sports a 16MP rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture and there's a 5MP front-facing shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. © Motorola Since this is essentially a new version of the classic flip phone, Motorola has also added something called the 'Retro Razr' mode which turns the display into an image of a display and keypad. It makes it sort of look like the old Razr phone. Pricing & Availability Motorola has launched the razr phone for $1,499 and it will be available to pre-order on December 26. The phone will go on sale starting in January 2020 in the US. Motorola India has also confirmed that the phone is coming to India very soon, although we don't have a release date for it just yet. We hope to learn more about it very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. View the full article
  16. If there was an adjective that could describe Shahid Kapoor's life choices, it would definitely be the word 'unconventional', but in a good way, of course. Shahid Kapoor makes sure that he's never put in a box or a category. From taking up roles that are on the extreme ends of the same continuum in films like Kabir Singh and Padmaavat, to embracing quirky outfits like his second skin, he's clearly always been open to experimental ideas. What a lot of people don't know about Shahid Kapoor is the fact he's also a sneakerhead considering he's made a couple of flashy sneaker appearances. So, for Diwali when everyone got dressed in standard ethnic outfits, he decided to give a unique twist to his Diwali outfit. Shahid Kapoor's intriguing and yet admirable outfit for Diwali raised eyebrows everywhere. This was because he wore a very interesting outfit that Game Of Thrones fans would definitely wouldn't mind getting for themselves. He wore an ombre kurta in shades of black and orange with Winterfell's emblem on the front pocket. Take a look: © Manav Manglani This is not the first time that a Bollywood celebrity has dipped their toes in pop culture-inspired clothes. Celebrities like Varun Dhawan have been spotted in Stranger Things merch before. But coming back to Shahid, while Game Of Thrones merch is cool and especially on a kurta, we think it's slightly late considering the series got over. What do you guys think? View the full article
  17. Plastic has become the topic of discussion around the world as it's the most polluting component found on earth currently. Rationally so, the world has become more conscious of the adverse effects of it and working towards its complete demise is all we should be thinking of. While economies are rising and falling, creating a cause for concern every now and then, we have a bigger cause right in front of us that we need to pay heed to and progress towards tackling that cause. (c)The Independant While plastic is found everywhere, one place we wouldn't expect it to be would be our water bodies. Unfortunately, our oceans and rivers are filled with plastic remains which are a great hazard for the existing aquatic lives. Recently, a small sized sea turtle was found dead with 104 pieces of plastic in its body. That's the fate of our marine life and while we urge people to dispose their plastic waste off a little more consciously, there's an organisation which has taken a step forward and is doing its bit to preserve our oceans from getting polluted further. (c)Youtube The Ocean Cleanup is an organisation that has taken the initiative to clean up the oceans. Started by a Dutch inventor, Boyan Slat at the age of 18, The Ocean Cleanup has implemented a very efficient mechanism to clean up the oceans and rivers, without taking much time. They don't use conventional vessels and nets for the cleanup but in fact rely on buoyancy to go ahead with the clean up drive. "The system consists of a long floater that sits at the surface of the water and skirt that hangs beneath it. The floater provides buoyancy to the entire system, while the skirt prevents debris from escaping underneath and leads it into the retention system, or cod end. A cork line above the skirt prevents overtopping and keeps the skirt afloat," as stated on their website. (c)The Ocean Cleanup The organisation has now recently developed a foolproof system to clean up the river, with 'the Interceptor'. On an average, 2.4 million metric tonnes of plastic flows through the rivers, according to reports, and most of it come from cities and villages. In India, people use the river for multiple purposes, including disposing off their waste. The waste found in the ocean comes mainly through the river and if there's a viable solution to prevent plastic from polluting the rivers, the marine life could be saved. The Ocean Cleanup's aim is to tackle plastic in 1000 rivers by 2025, as per the reports. The Interceptor is installed to the river beds, away from the passing boats. The mechanism involves a large barrier that blocks floating plastic pieces in the river. All the plastic trapped by the barrier is later sent to waste management. If in case, some trash is missed by the barrier, another system helps rectify that. After a thorough clean up, the trash travels through a conveyor belt, before it's segregated further for disposal. The system is powered by solar energy. (c)The Ocean Cleanup "When we think about solutions, we obviously need to think holistically. First and foremost, we need to move all the way upstream and reduce consumption and production of single-use, unnecessary plastics, and we need to better collect and recycle plastics and ensure materials are getting back into the supply chain for a circular economy. But then for the materials that are still escaping and currently not making their way in that system, the last line of defence is cleanup," said Nick Malos, a senior director of the Trash Free Seas programme at The Oceans Cleanup. (c)The Ocean Cleanup Of course we desperately need this mechanism to come to India and help clean our river beds as well. The amount of plastic trash found in some of our major rivers seriously amounts to a deadly cost for our marine lives, in the long run. While beach cleanup drives are a good initiation, a more rigid and impactful clean up system needs to be installed and it's time we economise on environmental causes wisely and have this very efficient environmental non-profit working with our water bodies too. 20. Apple has been known for adding tools that benefit a user's health ever since the company launched the Health App with iOS 8. The company has doubled down on the same ethos with the introduction of the Apple Watch. The smartwatch has some nifty features that have been responsible for saving countless lives in the past. Now with iOS 13, Apple is introducing a new feature in the health app that lets users track the headphone volume. It works with Bluetooth headsets (MFi) and the health app will let users know if the volume of the music is too high. © Pexels This feature was not showcased at WWDC 2019 however we got a small preview of the upcoming feature. The health app on iOS devices will now be able to track volume levels and suggest users if the volume is too high and might damage their ears. Apple will use the prescribed WHO levels to determine if the volume levels are loud or not. According to WHO, sounds above the level of 85db is harmful to the ear which is also the same parameter set by Apple in the 'Health' app. Any volume levels lower than 85db is usually ok however previous research has suggested that prolonged exposure to sound levels below 85db can also be harmful to the human ear. What Can Be Improved? © MensXP From what we saw from the demo, the new feature doesn't entirely work as expected. Even though you can track your volume levels from a previous listening session in the Health app, there is no provision for listeners when they are actually listening to audio at high volume levels. The 'Health' app as of now does not notify users about potential ear damage when they are listening to loud music. You will have to manually check levels each time by going into the 'Health' app which can be a bit tedious if you really care about protecting your ears. © Apple It would have been useful if the 'Health' app would notify you if you are listening to music louder than the recommenced volume level when you're actually doing it rather than later. For example, if a user is listening to music louder than 85db for more than 30 minutes, the Health app could simply notify users with a warning. Of course, many audiophiles would find this notification annoying if it keeps coming up every 15 or 30 minutes, which is why Apple should also provide the option of turning this specific notification off or give the ability to mute it for an hour. Personally, I would like to get a warning while I'm listening to loud music, not after the damage is already done.
  21. Let's face it, it's hard to keep yourself from asking for that slice of pizza, or ordering more 'bhature'. Well, that's exactly why a company decided to make an electric bracelet that delivers a 350-volt shock every time you decide to splurge on junk food that you'd be better off without eating. Called 'Pavlok bracelet', this piece of wearable tech is a behavior training device that utilizes aversive conditioning. Aversive conditioning, in case you don't know, is essentially behavior training that uses negative stimuli and association to reaffirm a specific action as undesirable. So yes, it'll know when you're doing something that you're not supposed to be doing. That being said, this bracelet can be used to keep you away from not just junk food, but any bad habits that you've been wanting to get rid of. Having trouble saving money? Smoking too many cigarettes? You name it and they know. The bracelet is capable of delivering 150 shocks on a single charge, which isn't too bad for something that's capable of tracking and stopping you from doing what you're not supposed to do. It connects and pair to an app on your phone, which even your friends an family can download to keep a track of you. © Pavlok This bracelet is currently being sold online on Amazon in the US for $199. It sounds a little expensive, but we think it's reasonable considering the fact that it's designed to help you curb your bad habits and replace them with good ones that help you live a better life. We really hope they start selling this bracelet outside the US because we all have cravings that are waiting to be kicked!
  22. Vivek Oberoi is back in the game and how! Yesterday, he shared a very distasteful meme about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan comparing her personal life to the exit poll results. He compared Salman Khan and Aishwarya's relationship with 'Opinion Poll', his relationship with her as 'Exit Poll' and the 'result' is her relationship with Abhishek Bachchan. After he tweeted that crass meme, he faced the wrath of not only social media users but also Bollywood celebrities. Vivek's team even clarified that there's something wrong with his account or maybe it's hacked. © Twitter/Vivek Oberoi Now, in the morning, he went on to delete that distasteful meme that targeted Aishwarya and even apologised for the same. He told ANI, "Those who are in the meme have no objection while scores of politicians are trying to politicise the issue. They don't work on issues but start their politics on such non-issues. There is a 'Didi' in West Bengal who puts people behind jail for a meme. Now, these people are demanding to put Vivek Oberoi behind bars. They were unable to stop my film and hence are now trying to put me behind bars." Vivek Oberoi speaks on Sonam Kapoor's reaction to his tweet (on exit polls), "...Aap apni filmon mein thoda kam overact karein aur social media pe thoda kam overreact karein. I've been working in women empowerment for 10 yrs now. I don't think this is hurting anyone's sentiments" pic.twitter.com/pOWAwO29N6 — ANI (@ANI) May 20, 2019 He also said that he has no issues in saying sorry but posed a question that what wrong has he done. He further said that he just appreciated the person for the meme and shared it just for fun. He has no idea why people made such a huge issue out of it. We have just one question for you, Vivek - Why would you delete the meme from your Twitter timeline if it wasn't that 'big a deal'?

Here's a little background on this kid in case you've forgotten: Jon Arryn was like a father to Rob Stark and was the Hand of the King to Robert Baratheon. Upon his death, Catelyn receives a letter that says that Jon Arryn was murdered. This leads Ned to leave everything and head South to help Robert with his falling kingdom. This was the initial conflict on 'Game Of Thrones' which lead to the domino effect of chaotic events and thousands of gruesome deaths that lead us to where we are today. © HBO In the swan song of 'Game Of Thrones', the producers decided to give closure to the characters we had long forgotten about. 25. One of the worst kept secrets in the history of modern cricket has to be the real age of the former Pakistan cricket team captain, Shahid Afridi. The man, who is considered to be 44 years old right now, based on various public records, has finally revealed in his autobiography titled 'Game Changer', that at the time of registering his name for an Under-14 cricket tournament during his childhood, he had no idea how old he was and filled in whatever age the people around him told him to. That age got recorded into the Pakistan Cricket Board's files and went on to become Afridi's official birth year. Amused by the fact that Shahid Afridi has revealed the worst kept secret in international cricket. But I have always believed that unless you are playing an U19 World Cup, your age doesn't matter. — Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) May 3, 2019 The record for the fastest hundred in the ODI format of the game was under the name of Afridi who, while batting in international cricket for the very first time hit a ton in just 37 balls, which is 11 fewer than the previous record set by Sri Lanka's Jayasuriya against Pakistan in Singapore six months earlier. At the time, it was officially declared that the Afridi was in fact a 16-year-old, which made the record that much more impressive. Now, the former skipper has come out in the open saying that his actual age at the time was 19 (21 according to the autobiography) and the gravity of that record just crumbles down. A byproduct of the revelation of the whole facade is that cricket fans have now brought back Afghanistan's extremely talented cricketer, Rashid Khan into the spotlight, trying to figure out his “real age”. According to his ICC profile, Rashid Khan was born on 20th September 1998, which makes the ICC World Rank 1 (T20I, Bowling), all of 20 years of age right now. Clearly, after the Shahid Afridi episode, people online are not buying Khan's story: Shahid Afridi : I was born in 1975 and not 1980 Cricket fans to Rashid Khan : pic.twitter.com/d1HCXXgAE0 — Bollywood Gandu (@BollywoodGandu) May 3, 2019 Shahid Afridi today, Rashid Khan tomorrow ðð — ACS ð¹ð¹ð¦ð¬ (@AdamSamuel__) May 3, 2019 Is Shahid Afridi younger than Rashid Khan? — Keyur (@_bollywoodlover) May 11, 2019 Rashid Khan koi angle se 20 21 ka nhi lagta ...his actual age is above 25 ....just like Afridi.. — Abhishek Pandey (@paandey1993) May 9, 2019 After the successful release of Shahid Afridi's game changer Rashid Khan has started working on his autobiography as well. The name of the book will be The Age Changer Will have at least 1 chapter dedicated to Afridi in that too.#GameChanger — Azlan Mahmood (@azlanmahmood1) May 4, 2019
