  1. Ayushmann Khurrana has sure come a long way and has made a name for himself in the industry. Being an outsider, it's not easy to make a mark, but with his versatile choices and acting skills, Ayushmann has managed to attract a massive following of movie buffs, who just wait to see him in all his glory on the big screen. Now, he is all set to show his acting prowess in his upcoming film, 'Article 15'. The trailer has already piqued the interest of the viewers and they are waiting with bated breath to see Ayushmann nail his character, like all his other roles. The plot of 'Article 15' bears a resemblance to the 2014 Badaun gangrape and murder case, and it will surely be a mirror to the society and its brutal practices. While a majority of people were all praises for the trailer, some users on social media found it a bit 'offensive' and Ayushmann somewhere knows that it has affected a certain section of the society. Well, according to Ayushmann, there is nothing 'offensive' as such when you will see the film. At an event, when he was asked about the criticism, he said, “But after they watch the film, (they'll realize) there's nothing offensive or maybe we have offended everyone because we haven't targeted any community.” The movie is all set to hit the screens on June 28 and the trailer has given us an insight into what the film has to offer. The film also stars Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat, and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub. The film talks about Article 15 of the Indian Constitution, which prohibits discrimination by the state against any citizen on the basis of religion, race, caste, ***, and place of birth. Talking about the idea behind the movie, the actor said, “Our country is a unique one because we have all kinds of people and we are very sensitive towards ourselves. We are proud of ourselves, of our communities. We are so depressed in our real lives that we need something to feel proud about. The appeal of this film is we should be proud of our country, but we can't be blindly proud of it. We need to better our nation.” We do agree with his thoughts. What about you?
  2. Microsoft finally showed us some more detailed about the upcoming Halo game last night at E3 and its back in action with Master Chief. Halo Infinite is apparently an open-world game and we also got to see Cortana back in his helmet after a very long time. The game is set to launch next year on Holiday 2020 alongside Xbox Scarlett as a launch title. © Microsoft The sixth instalment in the franchise was teased last year at E3 and the new trailer gives us a closer look at Master Chief. The trailer showed a UNSC soldier being stranded in space and gets contacted by a ship nearby. In the process of locating the ship, the soldier discovers Master Chief floating in space in survival mode. Master Chief is brought back to life from Survival Mode and the ship is soon attacked by enemies. Master Chief then gets ready to face the enemies that later transitions into the title screen. Master Chief is then seen slotting Cortana into his helmet while her voice can be heard saying, "I chose you because you were special. I knew we would be perfect together. And I was right.” © Microsoft Microsoft shared a vague description of the game that says it finds "Master Chief on an all-new adventure as he uncovers the mysteries surrounding the appearance of The Pilot and the desolate remains of a Halo ring.” Halo Infinite will be also coming to Xbox One and PC, and will also be included in Microsoft's new Xbox Game Pass subscription service. This will be the first time a Halo Game will be coming to PC at the same time as its console launch. Are you excited for Halo Infinite? Have you seen the trailer yet? If not, you can watch it below to know more details about the upcoming game.
  3. Brad Pitt is on a roll! One of his upcoming movies has already got everyone so excited- I'm talking about 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' just FYI - and now, his next movie has also got everyone talking. We cannot get enough of space movies and everyone in Hollywood also apparently knows that. This is why we get a great movie after another and this new one seems very exciting, and not just because it has Brad Pitt. The first trailer for 'Ad Astra' came out yesterday and it's getting a lot of positive reactions. While the trailer does give out a little too much than it probably should have, it's still great to get an idea of what is basically happening in the movie before watching it. So, it's not that big of a deal. Basically, Brad Pitt plays astronaut Roy McBride who travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. So, pretty basic right? No high stakes? Yep. Even the trailer looks so cool. Our first poster for #AdAstra, starring Brad Pitt, in theaters September pic.twitter.com/dBjr9CJPcN — Asad Ayaz (@asadayaz) June 5, 2019 I'm in as well. Brad Pitt in a juicy role. Space. Extra-terrestrial life. Fathers and sons. A last mission. I'm in. #AdAstra https://t.co/rQHzsge4wL — Dan Buffa (@buffa82) June 5, 2019 I know, right? So finally we get a date for this film. There can never be enough space movies to satisfy me... https://t.co/4goR7P25pG — Ren Zelen (@RenZelen) June 5, 2019 Yep. A James Gray sci-fi movie! And damn does it look pretty. https://t.co/I2xK5gf28D — Dean Lines (@deanlines) June 5, 2019 Good takes. Love a space movie & that Liv Tyler is in Armageddon mode - but stopped two thirds into the trailer as it seemed to be giving too much plot away (a pet trailer hate... and I LOVE watching trailers...) #AdAstra https://t.co/TGm8mtdeNW — Natalie Jamieson (@Nat_Jamieson) June 5, 2019 It does. I went into this trailer with 0 expectations and finished it feeling ecstatic....this looks spectacular. 4. We all knew Tony Stark would be a big part of 'Spiderman: Far From Home' but were we prepared for that? I don't know. Every new trailer or any footage since the release of 'Avengers: Endgame' has talked about Tony - and the fact that he's dead now - and well, now we're learning more and more about him still. In the Iron Man movies, we've seen Tony spending a lot of time in his lab working on his suits and well, 'Spiderman: FFH' shows his 'ward' Peter Parker working in his lab in one of Tony's planes. Remember Peter wearing Tony's glasses in the second official trailer? Now, we get to see what they actually do. Here's a compilation of a bunch of international teasers and trailers that have come out till now. So many new scenes, yet we still don't what the f**k is happening with the multiverse. That will be exciting to watch in just a few months. Actually, here's another set of teasers. Along with all of that, there's apparently a 'leaked' trailer as well which has a bunch of new footage along with everything we've seen before. BROTHERS AND SISTERS I PRESENT TO YOU pic.twitter.com/nC7iNu18i7 — *â§ï½¥ï¾* ð¤ðð²ð¥ð *ï½¥ï¾â§* (@suitedspidey) June 1, 2019 Yes, it's not exactly leaked since it looks like it probably played at some theatre before a movie. ('Endgame', I'm guessing) 'Spiderman: Far From Home' is almost here but it still seems so far away, and we really are dealing with some serious MCU withdrawal right now. July 2nd cannot come fast enough.
  5. After swimming in a pool of controversies, Hrithik Roshan's 'Super 30' is finally going to hit the theatres soon and the trailer that just dropped proves that it's going to be one of the most promising films of 2019. Phantom Films Ever since it was announced that a biopic is being made on Anand Kumar, founder of Super 30, starring Hrithik Roshan, the film has made more news than most of our mathematics scores combined. For those who didn't know, Super 30 is an academy that trains meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds for JEE exams 'for free'. Phantom Films The 2-minute 37 seconds trailer shows Hrithik Roshan as Anand Kumar, a genius mathematician who is a celebrity among students for his unbelievable success rate when it comes to coaching. However, he gives up his lucrative job to help the underprivileged kids and ensure that every deserving kid gets a chance to make it big in the world. Phantom Films The dialogue, "Ab Raja ka beta raja nahi banega. Raja woh hi banega, jo haqdaar hoga", will go down in the history of Bollywood as one of the most impressive and hard-hitting dialogues ever. Also, can we take a moment to appreciate the reverse-transformation that Hrithik went through for the character? He has not only nailed the look, but his accent is also worth an applaud. Recently the biopic found itself in trouble, when Anand Kumar's former students accused him of lying and hiding facts, and when director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment. Despite surrounded by controversies, 'Super 30' is releasing on July 12.
  6. Christian Bale is doing a movie where his character actually looks like a normal person - weird right? - and honestly that should be enough for everyone to get excited for the movie. But 'Ford v. Ferrari' already looks so great judging by its first trailer that it will surely be one of the best movies of the year. The movie is basically about the building of Ford GT40 from scratch, an entirely new automobile with the potential to finally defeat the perennially dominant Ferrari at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France. Who would've thought, considering the name is Ford vs Ferrari! Okay, jokes aside, the premise already sounds fun and then you bring in two actors like Christian Bale and Matt Damon and just elevate the movie even more. The first trailer is causing a lot of excitement right now and well, no surprises there, just watch it for yourself. In the movie, Matt Damon plays the role of Carroll Shelby, an American automotive designer who is roped in by the Ford team to make a car that could beat the Ferrari. And the other lead, Christian Bale plays Ken Miles, a British engineer and driver who is asked to test the car and make it win during the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France. The movie still a few months away as it's all set to release this November but for now, the trailer is enough to cause a lot of excitement, even more so since James Mangold is the director of 'Ford v. Ferrari'. People are so ready for the movie. I may have just watched this trailer so many times that my phone froze https://t.co/O4p5TPyoqy — Jillian Sederholm (@JillianSed) June 3, 2019 Great moment. Nothing makes me happier than watching Christian Bale punch Matt Damon in the face in the #FORDvFERRARI trailer pic.twitter.com/obzeqTWlTl — Jillian Sederholm (@JillianSed) June 3, 2019 Yes, please. I was already in on this movie, then I heard the opening chords of "Gimme Shelter" One ticket to the #FORDvFERRARI midnight premiere, please https://t.co/f3rJdIfxd3 — Joel Sebastianelli (@JJSebastianelli) June 3, 2019 Exactly. If you want to get even more excited as you watch the awesome trailer for #FORDvFERRARI keep in mind that James @mang0ld has made both one of the greatest westerns (3:10 to Yuma) AND one of the best comic book movies (Logan) of all time. — ReactionRocket (@ReactionRocket) June 3, 2019 It's going to be great. I saw this on on Disney's movie lineup that came out a few weeks ago and thought it was gonna be some lack luster documentary. Looks like they're gonna do the rivalry some justice tho. #FordVFerrari https://t.co/yCAJ6iTJr8 — Dom Melendez (@SirProStatus) June 3, 2019 Yep. #FORDvFERRARI looks like it will deliver and be award-worthy. They can take my $ now. https://t.co/7zsVkK4Vei — Tim (@TimstlF1) June 3, 2019 This will be it, hopefully. I'm so excited about this! #FORDvFERRARI is going to be an incredible movie! With that said, I'm still over here waiting for a respectable NASCAR movie... ð https://t.co/v4q5d9iM78 — á°áá¥áá á·á¬áá®áá© (@Brian_Murphy_) June 3, 2019 Christian Bale and Matt Damon for the win. I'm obviously a bit biased but I think #FORDvFERRARI will be a great film. The true story is perfect for Hollywood, there are several different ways they can tell it, and the all-star cast suggests no expense has been spared. Can't wait. https://t.co/2WqXV2Guqd — Marty P (@tweetingmarty) June 3, 2019 What a poster. Now THIS is a poster. #FordvFerrari pic.twitter.com/LA6KmyJk6n — Daniel Howat (@howatdk) May 31, 2019
  7. Ayushmann Khurrana came, he saw and he conquered. He is one of those actors who has managed to achieve the status of a star despite being an outsider. His unconventional choices have always set him apart from all the others. He has had a track record of picking up subjects which somewhere show the mirror of the society that we are living in. Ayushmann's upcoming film, 'Article 15', is loosely based on the Badaun rape case where two girls were raped and hanged. © Zee Music Company The storyline is another proof of how our Indian cinema is changing for good. Ayushmann is seen as a police cop who has taken the charge of investigating the case and you would see the harsh reality through the trailer. The movie is all set to hit the screens on June 28 and the trailer has given us an insight into what the film has to offer. The film also stars Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub. © Zee Music Company The film talks about Article 15 of the Indian Constitution that prohibits discrimination by the state against any citizen on the basis of religion, race, caste, ***, and place of birth. Here, take a look at the trailer: We are wondering if the trailer is this impactful, how hard-hitting will the movie be? Here are 5 things we really liked about the trailer: 1. Ayushmann Khurrana has never disappointed us with his acting skills and we can say the same for this movie as well. He is seen in a completely different avatar. He has done many films that addressed social issues in a very light-hearted way. This time he has gone all out to address an issue which has been affecting our society in a serious way. He has surely raised the bar quite high. Iss Trailer Aur Baaki Trailers Mein 'Farq' Hai! The trailer shows the film has an engaging storyline and you would empathise with the pain of the victims and their families. We are way too curious to know how the case is solved by Ayushmann in the movie. 3. Not just Ayushmann Khurrana, but all other actors have kept their best foot forward, going by what we see in the trailer. The trailer shows us glimpses of all the great things that is in store for us. © Zee Music Company 4. There is a way that Anubhav Sinha tells his stories. If you have seen 'Mulk', you would surely have an idea. The reality is NOT moulded but presented in its naked state. 'Article 15' is of a similar nature and well, if you have liked movies like 'Gangaajal', then we can tell you this one is surely apt for you. धरà¥à¤® , नसà¥à¤² ,à¤à¤¾à¤¤à¤¿, लिà¤à¤ ,à¤à¤¨à¥à¤®à¤¸à¥à¤¥à¤¾à¤¨ à¤à¤ à¤à¤¸à¤¾ मà¥à¤²à¥à¤ à¤à¤¹à¤¾à¤ à¤à¥à¤ भà¥à¤¦à¤à¤¾à¤µ नहà¥à¤ हà¥à¤à¤¾ à¤à¤¬ फ़रà¥à¤à¤¼ लाà¤à¤à¤à¥#Article15. The way the dialogues have been written will surely leave an indelible mark on you as a viewer. They are simple yet hard-hitting. Are you ready to face the harsh reality? Watch the trailer and let us know in your comments below.
  8. Diljit Dosanjh is the golden boy right now enjoying the love and fame for literally everything he does. From songs to movies to world tours, he's acing it all and giving us more reasons to love him. The self-proclaimed Kylie Jenner fanboy is coming back with a Punjabi movie titled 'Shadaa' which is a laugh riot. The trailer gives you some vibes of 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' but nevertheless, it's completely entertaining. The story follows an eternal bachelor which translates to 'Shadaa' in Punjabi played by Diljit, who dreams of getting married but later realises that bachelorhood is better. For a brief moment, he falls in love with Neeru Bajwa but later realises that his happiness lies in staying single. © brat films Eventually, after succumbing to the pressure of getting married, this 'Shadaa' decides to get married to a doll named Kylie and asks his parents to give their blessings. © brat films In case you are not well versed with the Punjabi language, the subtitles should help, but this movie surely proves that this dude here can sing, dress sharp, act in movies with a star cast like 'Udta Punjab' and then also blow us away with his great comic timing, all in one go!
  9. 'Black Mirror' is all set to return with its fifth season, and the trailer just dropped. Just like every other season, this one looks super intense as well, however, what has captured our attention is the cast. American pop star Miley Cyrus plays one of the main roles, and we'll hopefully be finally able to gauge her full potential as an actor this time, post her Disney Channel stint as 'Hannah Montana' and a number of other movies that she has appeared in. © Netflix Among other notable names, Anthony Mackie, famous as 'Falcon' from MCU, will also be playing one of the protagonists this season. © Netflix As usual, the stories revolve around the impending doom the future holds, thanks to the technological advancements we have been abusing. Miley Cyrus's story seems to be particularly intense, where she is a performer. However, there is also a similar looking doll, that might lead to a crazy twist. © Netflix © Netflix © Netflix There are 3 new stories in this season, and the cast includes Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport and Ludi Lin. Directed by Charlie Brooker (of course), it will premiere on Wednesday, June 5th, exclusively on Netflix. We can't wait! Watch the trailer here.
  10. The trailer of 'Kabir Singh' dropped yesterday and let's just say Shahid Kapoor has us shook. One look at the 2 minutes 45 seconds video and you know that people will remember this movie for multiple reasons, and not just for being a remake of 'Arjun Reddy'. © T-Series When most people were busy comparing it to the superhit Telugu movie 'Arjun Reddy' starring Vijay Deverakonda, some people on the internet were busy dissecting the trailer and churning out funny memes out of it. © T-Series In fact, the desi engineers seemed to have struck a chord with some of the dialogues and scenes from the trailer, and these memes are too damn relatable. 11. Even though the spoiler ban has officially been lifted, I will still be nice and put a disclaimer. 'Avengers: Endgame' spoilers ahead. PS: if you're a true Marvel fan and still haven't watched the movie, I'm judging you. All of us are still talking about 'Avengers: Endgame' but Marvel cannot wait anymore. After making over 2 billion dollars with just one movie, they're already focussing on their next multi-million dollar movie, which is of course 'Spider-man: Far From Home'. The first trailer was all fun - Peter Parker going on a much deserved vacation to Europe with his friends - but now things are getting serious and emotional. Now, Marvel can actually show Peter dealing with Tony's death in 'Endgame' freely. It's good that they're showing him mourning the loss of Tony, but I wasn't prepared to see Peter crying. Not cool, Marvel. After the heartfelt moment, it picks up and Spider-Man is back to joking around. It's again all fun and game till Nick Fury shows up and hijacks Peter's vacation. Actually, Nick Fury just saying 'Bitch please' was the highlight for me. We've all analysed everything related to 'Endgame' to death, so let's focus our energies on 'Far From Home' now. Here's everything that stood out for me from this trailer and also the reason that the next phase of Marvel Cinematic Universe is kicking off with a great movie. 1. Peter Ghosting Nick Fury Like father (figure), like son? Only Peter Parker and Tony Stark can get away with ghosting Nick Fury, tbh. 2. Multiverse?! “He's from earth, just not our earth.” I'm already so confused by alternate timelines and time travel in 'Endgame', a multiverse will just make it worse. 3. Nod To OG Avengers All the Avengers are busy and the responsibility of saving the world comes on to a friendly neighbourghood Spider-Man. With that, let's move on to the next point. 4. “I'm Just A Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-man.” That is it, this has already made the movie for me. I can't wait to see just this specific scene in theatres. 5. MJ Knows He's Spider-Man First Aunt May, now MJ. Peter really is the worst at hiding his secret identity. 6. Mysterio Possibly Referring To Tony's Death More emotional stuff. While we don't know if he's talking about Tony exactly, I think it's safe to assume and not just because Tony has been ready to sacrifice himself in literally every movie. 7. Tony's Glasses That looks exactly like Tony's glasses, but what is Peter doing with them? 8. Iron Man Refernce With Iron Man's Glove? What is that glove thing? What is happening? Is he going to be the next Iron Man? 9. New Spidey Stealth Suit Yes, it was there is the last trailer as well, but it's still cool, okay? Thanks.
  12. I feel like the pressure on 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' is simply increasing by the day, because it's the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to come out after 'Avengers: Endgame'. Imagine you're in a talent competition and you find out you're going after say, Beyonce! And, no, this is not me hating on 'Spider-Man', that's not the case. Just stating a fact. But, we know the movie will do good because people love Tom Holland and his portrayal of Peter Parker. But, since it's coming out so soon after 'Endgame', it is bound to be connected to the movie, especially since Peter Parker is basically Tony Stark's 'ward'. Since it's confirmed that the events of 'Far From Home' take place shortly after the events of 'Endgame', it's not just the movie that will have spoilers for 'Endgame', but the trailer as well. Reportedly, the next trailer for 'Far From Home' - which is expected to drop on 6th May - might contain spoilers about 'Avengers: Endgame'. And, Marvel has reportedly decided to be nice for once and put a spoiler warning before the trailer, and Tom Holland himself will do the honours of that. Apparently, right before the trailer, a clip of Tom Holland will come and warn people about the spoilers. Yes, I see the irony, Tom Holland, the guy infamous for giving spoilers, will give a spoiler warning. 'ENDGAME' SPOILERS AHEAD I think it's safe to assume that 'Far From Home' will have Peter mourning and coping with Tony Stark's death but will they bring that right up in the trailer? Quite possible. Or maybe, the trailer will show that some people at Peter's school are now five years older, since it's not possible that every single one of them disintegrated after 'Avengers: Infinity War'. Side note: How is it possible that all of Peter's friends got disintegrated and then came back? I mean, it was a random selection of half the population but all of them seem to be back and are the same age, while we saw in 'Endgame' that everyone else who didn't turn to dust was five years older now. Is this a possible plot hole? Also, Marvel, please don't show Peter crying because of Tony's death, it'll be too hard to deal with. One more possibility for the 'Endgame' connection in 'Far From Home' is Mysterio's abilities, which include special effects and illusions, so what if he uses Tony, to manipulate Peter? That seems quite possible but it's also so brutal. Whatever it is, we'll just have to wait till Monday to find out. 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' will release on July 2nd.
  13. What can I say? Oh God, I am a mess right now! Anyone who knows anything about me knows I am a Disney nerd to my core, so obviously, anything and everything associated with it instantly become my new obsession. And right now, it's the new trailer for 'Aladdin' that I've been watching on repeat. I remember losing my sanity when the first trailer had dropped last month, as we got the first glimpse of a lot of major characters including the oh-so-fabulous Genie. via GIPHY The new trailer, which arrived last night, finally showed us more than a glimpse of Aladdin, Jasmine and Genie and was almost a confirmation of how magnificent this movie is going to be. So, here are 10 moments from the new trailer that have only whetted my appetite for the movie: 1. Princess Jasmine In All Her Finery via GIPHY The trailer opens with Jasmine walking down the palace stairs with Rajah, her faithful pet tiger, right behind her. Yes, she is beautiful and looks very regal indeed, however, my only point of concern is that pink outfit. I know, I know, I should not compare it frame-by-frame with the original version, but I can't help it. The Jasmine I know wears blue and has long, flowing hair that can leave Rapunzel green with envy. But…let's see how it turns out. 2. Genie Transforming Aladdin Into Prince Ali via GIPHY Yup, our boy is ready to win the heart of his Princess, with a little help from his new blue friend. Oh, I can't wait to see the full-fledged scene once it hits the theatres. 3. Jasmine Not Looking Very Impressed With Prince Ali via GIPHY Well, Aladdin has successfully transformed into a Prince and is making his way to the royal palace to meet Jasmine, in an out-of-this-world procession. But is it enough? Our Princess doesn't really look that impressed here! 4. Genie Giving Some Serious Gyaan To Aladdin via GIPHY “I made you look like a Prince on the outside, I didn't change anything on the inside. Prince Ali got you to the door, but Aladdin has to open it.” Wow. I mean, I can see this gem of advice being totally applicable in all our lives as well. No matter how we transform from the outside, it's how we are from the inside that matters at the end of the day. 5. “Do You Trust Me?” via GIPHY AAAAAAA! I screamed so hard at this part. It was just like from the original version. Even the voice of Aladdin, played by Mena Massoud, sounds like the one from the animated movie. Now that's a good sign, folks! 6. Aladdin + Jasmine + Magic Carpet = A Whole New World! via GIPHY Sigh…I will not lie, I had tears in my eyes when I heard the first bars of this iconic song. Naomi Scott's (who is playing Jasmine) voice is incredible and Lord, I could also see myself singing this at the top of my voice in the movie halls. Also, did you see that Magic Carpet ride? 7. The Almost-Kiss On The Balcony via GIPHY Pretty sure we're gonna get to see the full smooch when the movie is out, but this was not bad either. The Magic Carpet giving a little nudge to Aladdin to help him make his move is just so incredible to look at. Can't wait to see more of the Carpet, we all know how crucial it is to the plot. 8. Jafar Or Iago Possibly Chasing Aladdin & Jasmine via GIPHY Not really sure who it is at this point, but we get a blink-and-miss shot of a giant red bird chasing our lovebirds, who are trying to escape on the Magic Carpet. Both the trailers, so far, have not really given us a better picture of the evil side of Jafar…who is like, the main antagonist of the movie. Here's hoping we get to see the evil wizard in all his diabolical glory soon.
  14. The popular 'Men In Black' series began in the year 2007, where Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones took the franchise by storm playing MIB agents. The two worked under an outfit that fought against aliens who trespassed Earth and protected it from their vile attacks. Besides that, the agents, who're human were tasked to monitor aliens residing on earth. The last franchise was released in 2012 which also starred Josh Brolin the younger version of agent 'K'. Honestly, I absolutely loved the trilogy, especially with K aka Tommy Lee Jones' stoic expressions and dry sense of humour and agent J aka Will Smith's playful antics and, of course, both of them kicking alien asses, all the way back to the moon. © Sony Pictures Releaing Now, we have 'Men In Black- International' the fourth part of the series releasing this year on June 14th and we can't keep it together, because the trailer looks really badass, with some new elements drawn in. The sad part though is that we don't have the regular partners in crime this time, and that's the kinda camaraderie we're really going to miss. But fret not, 'MIB International' promises another alien invasion and two agents looking so kick some alien ass! Check out the trailer here: Here are 5 awesome takeaways from 'Men In Black International': 1. The New Agents Look Swell As Hell Unfortunately, 'MIB International' won't have Will Smith's songs that sample Patrice Rushen songs. In fact, Will and Tommy have stepped back from the franchise and we have Chris Hemsworth & Tessa Thomspon as the new London-based agents. They'll be playing agent H and agent M respectively. The two of them are coming together again after 'Thor: Ragnarok' and ironically this time, they're fighting some wicked aliens together. © Sony Pictures Releasing 2. 'MIB International' Has An Absolutely New Spin-Off The film is actually being compared to 'Jurassic World', where after three parts of the franchise, a bigger spin-off was adapted, with stunning CGI and a bigger plot line. 'MIB International' is doing something similar. They're introducing new aliens, weapons, and characters while acknowledging the previous films and the characters in the series. © Sony Pictures Releasing 3. The Plot Seems Unique According to Sony's description, the plot is larger than life, definitely bigger and better than any of the other MIB movies earlier. How? Well, the new recruits tackle their biggest, most global threat to date ever- a mole in the Men In Black organisation. Now that is something to really look forward to! © Sony Pictures Releasing 4. More Extraterritorial MIB Agents! The earlier MIB movies always had a dozen alien species that the MIB used to regularly keep a check on. A few of them were MIB agents themselves. The new movie seems to have a lot more extraterritorial MIB agents according to the trailer. Maybe one of them is a mole, trying to propagate reign of its particular species on earth? © Sony Pictures Releasing 5. MIB 'International' This one's called MIB 'International' for a reason. While the previous movies were pretty much local, where we'd see agent 'K' and agent 'J' tackling aliens found in the United State, this one's based more on a global scale. Of course, there are aliens all over the world and the U.S. doesn't have to save the world all the bloody time! The MIB organisation in the movie is based out of London and they will show MIB bases in other countries. More alien species are likely to be seen, different from what you've seen when the movie was based out of the U.S. © Sony Pictures Releasing Apart from all this, the movie has a stellar cast and crew. It's directed by Felix Gary Gray and written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. We've already told you who's in the lead fighting the damn aliens but we also have Liam Neeson as the head of London MIB base and Rebecca Furguson, whose role is still a mystery, which means it's something important. Emma Thompson will be reprising her role as agent 'O' from MIB 3, which could also mean, MIB International has some connection with MIB 3. Well, there's only one way to find out, isn't there? Book your seats for June 14th, 2019!
  15. Two Khans of our Bollywood, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, never miss a chance to appreciate each other on social media platforms. The whole country is praising the trailer of Salman Khan's 'Bharat'. Just like Bhai fans are going gaga over the trailer, SRK too seemed to have loved the trailer. He took to Twitter to give a shout-out to the film and wrote, "Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob." As soon as SRK tweeted, their fans got one more reason to celebrate their friendship. Here's the tweet: Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob. https://t.co/0t8hQoUSbJ — Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) April 22, 2019 The trailer shows Salman Khan in five avatars and it has left all the movie buffs waiting for more. The trailer tells the story of a middle-class old man Bharat, who takes us back to 1947 when India attained its independence. Salman and Katrina Kaif are a deadly combination and fans are happy to see this 'jodi' back on the silver screen. Apart from Salman and Katrina, the film also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. Bharat is an official remake of the Korean film, 'An Ode To My Father'. It will be interesting to see how Ali Abbas Zafar has given it an Indian twist. © Salman Khan Films In an earlier interview, Ali had said that it's important to show Salman in a different light as the Indian cinema is now changing and doing something different with every film, and that will help them make a mark. Are you looking forward to watching the film? Let us know in the comments below. Meanwhile, check out the trailer here:
  16. Salman 'bhai' is back with his 'Eid' gift for fans all over the globe. The trailer of his much-awaited 'Bharat' finally dropped a few minutes ago and before we talk about it, let's have a look at it. Ali Abbas Zafar is back with Katrina and Salman as a team in a tried and tested formula which looks like it will be a super hit. The movie also stars Disha Patani and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles and is a remake of the Korean hit, 'An Ode To My Father'. The movie follows a chronology of India over six decades and Salman Khan will be donning five different looks in the movie. Salman's character is also named 'Bharat' which is like a metaphorical representation of the country itself. SKF The trailer stays true to a typical Salman 'bhai' movie. It has good background score, the enigma of Salman himself, lovely ladies to add more value to the script and a whole 'over the top' vibe. Fans are absolutely loving the trailer already. #BharatTrailer is out now Owesome trailer...it could be the biggest blockbuster of the year Please go and watch pic.twitter.com/3ClMkR2HHU — SalmanKhanfc (@itsSalmanKhanfc) April 22, 2019 Going by the merits of #BharatTrailer, BONAFIDE BLOCKBUSTER is a given. Seems @beingsalmankhan has delivered his most fervid performance till date. Trailer is Perfect blend of mass & class. Katrina nails it. @aliabbaszafar “does whatever it takes” https://t.co/QlsxPYJIpW — Sumit kadel (@SumitkadeI) April 22, 2019 Salman's last spell at the box-office was a dud in the form of 'Race 3' but knowing the actor, he always bounces back, thanks to the kind of movies he makes, which have many takers out there. The movie is releasing on 5th June this year, so we have something grand to look forward to this Eid, like every Eid. Get ready to witness the journey of a man and a nation together.
  17. A few days ago, technically one day before Vivek Oberoi's movie 'PM Narendra Modi' was going to release, the Election Commission put a ban on the film until the Lok Sabha elections are over. According to the order issued by the EC, "any Biopic material in nature of biography sub serving the purpose of any political entity or any individual entity connected to it, which has the potential to disturb level-playing field during the election, should not be displayed in Electronic media including cinematograph during the operation of Model Code of Conduct." © Instagram Fast forward to the present time and the trailer of the film, which is an "inspiring saga of a man, a politician, a leader and a visionary", has gone missing from YouTube. The movie was already drowning in a pool of controversy thanks to the ban and memes, and now the disappearance of the trailer took away the last straw from the makers of the film. 18. Marvel's 'Avengers: Endgame' may not be the only blockbuster this year that is turning heads, as we finally got to know more about the latest Star Wars movie. The movie was first teased a few months ago and now we finally have the first teaser trailer and title of the movie. The movie's title is 'The Rise of The Skywalker' and we will try to decipher what it means. In 'The Last Jedi', Rey, Finn, Poe and Rose were left outnumbered and outmatched by the Empire trying to survive. 'The Rise of The Skywalker' will be the last movie that will be the end of the Skywalker saga, however, we still need to figure out what the hell is happening. Being a devout 'Star Wars' fan for the past 20 years, here's my take on the teaser trailer: Lando Is Back! (c) Lucasfilm Lando Calrissian, played by Billy Dee Williams, had a major role in the original trilogy and we finally get to see him for the third trilogy instalment. During the panel discussion, he was wearing his familiar yellow and black outfit and is back in the seat of the Millennium Falcon. Sure, Han Solo is the only pilot we want to associate Falcon with, but the only the person acceptable to pilot the falcon was Lando and we are glad to see him back. Leia Is Back Too! (c) Lucasfilm Sadly, we lost Carrie Fisher before she could start shooting for Episode IX, however, we saw her in the teaser trailer hugging Rey. These are shots that didn't make it to 'The Last Jedi' and are now being used for the final film of the trilogy. The scene is apparently taking place in the resistance base on the planet D'Qar and we will know more about this scene once the movie is out. The Medal Of Bravery (c) Lucasfilm One of the most iconic scenes from 'The New Hope' were when Han and Luke got shiny medals for their bravery shown at the battle of Yavin IV. We finally got to see those medals again in the new teaser trailer. The Death Star Wreck (c) Lucasfilm We haven't seen any reference to the Death Star in the new trilogy, however, it seems like we got a glimpse of the wreck site. The wreck is very similar to the wreck of a Star Destroyer we got to see in 'The Force Awakens' and it may just be the Death Star. The curves in the wreckage are a huge hint at something circular which we generally associate with the Death Star. Kylo's Helmet Is Repaired (c) Lucasfilm Even though I feel that Kylo Ren was trying too hard to be Darth Vader in the first movie of the new trilogy, it is kind of satisfying to see his helmet make a return. It was destroyed by Rey in “The Last Jedi” and is probably the most iconic scene in the entire trilogy. In the teaser, we see that helmet being repaired and reformed, with a strong emphasis on the cracks The Big Reveal (c) Lucasfilm Overall, the teaser trailer was good but not mind-blowing until the very end. The teaser trailer ends with a very familiar cackle every 'Star Wars' fan can recognise. The cackling laughter belongs to the Emperor. Even though we were confused at first, it was later confirmed when Ian MacDiarmid who has been playing the character since 1983, came on stage and reaffirmed our suspicion. From the last time we remember, Palpatine was thrown down a pit by Darth Vader in the Death Star 2.0 and later exploded in the vacuum of space. We aren't entirely sure how Disney plans to bring him back. He may just come back as a force ghost, a hologram recording or even back from the dead. We will have to wait for more information. 'Star Wars: The Rise of The Skywalker' hits theatres on Dec. 20, 2019.
  19. An insane video of Tiger Shroff just showing off and doing stunts is out, and yeah, it's also the trailer for 'Student Of The Year 2' but everyone's just focusing on the stunts because that's the only thing in the trailer, tbh. I'm not going to lie, the trailer is a lil cheesy and cringey, and I'm not even going to touch the fact that there is literally no school student who looks like that and there is no school actually like that. But, my opinions on the trailer aside, the true success or failure of a trailer depends on the memes on it, and in that sense, SOTY2 is a winner! There was so much meme material in the trailer that people immediately started showing off their creativity and came up with some 'Memes of The Year'. Someone got even Modi Ji involved. 20. The trailer of this year's much-awaited film, 'Student Of The year 2', just dropped and is making everyone jealous with their exaggerated fanciful Saint Teresa college which looks bigger than London's Buckingham Palace. via GIPHY The first one marked the debut of three promising actors - Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra - who have come a long way. Varun and Alia are currently busy promoting their film 'Kalank'. This time around, the expectations are extremely high from the film and the 'Batch of 2019'. via GIPHY Well, at least they have successfully managed to retain one thing from the first movie - 'SOTY 2' is as exaggerated and larger than life as the first one. Seriously, who organises such extreme sports events? And which sporting event has a dance competition as one of the winning criteria? Dharma Productions Most parts of the trailer were owned by Tiger Shroff and his abs and his veins popping out of his arms. Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday too were a part of the trailer in their own 'blink and miss' ways. Dharma Productions Talking about the storyline, Tiger Shroff plays Rohan who has his heart set on the 'Dignity Cup', an inter-college sports championship. He is however expelled, so he joins another college to participate in the same competition to beat his rivals (Also, this is not a spoiler, it's there in the trailer). Amidst all of this, Tiger has to also deal with a complicated love triangle going on between him, Tara and Ananya. Tough life, I must say! Directed by Punit Malhotra, 'Student Of The Year 2' is releasing on May 10.
  21. The names Mufasa, Simba, or Timon, Pumba and Rafiki tug at our hearts in a way that is capable of evoking a sense of deep-rooted belongingness and nostalgia from the years gone by. 'The Lion King' happens to be one of the best-est animated movies ever broadcasted for kids in the history of television. Our childhood was made special by Mufasa's kindness and playfulness, Rafiki's wisdom and great comic timing, as well as Timon and Pumba's crazy antics, besides a lot of other things! Just moments ago, Disney released the trailer for the much-anticipated remake of the 'The Lion King', and here are the 8 moments from the new trailer that made our jaw hit the floor really hard: 1. Baby Simba In The Elephant Graveyard via GIPHY Simba's appearance at the Elephant Graveyard is a pivotal moment in the story. His one-on-one encounter with the notorious Scar and the threats that follow it are some of the bone-chilling experiences we all recall all too (un)easily. 2. We Finally See Scar via GIPHY The teaser had given us a glimpse of Mufasa's arch-rival and notorious brother Scar, who wants nothing more than to kill off Mufasa and take his place as the king of Pride Lands. And he is still as intimidating and loathsome as ever. 3. Baby Simba & Mufasa Watching Over The Pride Lands via GIPHY A scene that is etched into our memory forever. Mufasa and Simba standing atop the Pride Rock overlooking the Pride Lands, and Mufasa imparting his biggest lessons to young Simba and telling him about the ways of the world, is truly precious. 4. Mufasa About To Die via GIPHY The impending death scene is dark, and even without it being shown in the trailer, we all know we are in for major heartbreak that is going to hurt far worse than any other, because seeing a part of your childhood die on-screen isn't something any of us want to sit through all over again. 5. Timon & Pumba Mentoring Simba via GIPHY Timon and Pumba aren't just two characters in the story who have been created to bring in the element of comic relief to the plot. Timon and Pumba turn into Simba's closest guides and mentors who see him through some of his toughest times. 6. Simba & Nala Falling In Love via GIPHY With bad comes good, and this goodness melted all of our hearts at one point. Even today, not much has changed, from their first sighting to the promise, a glimpse is all it takes to see the affection Simba and Nala share for one another. 7. Rafiki Finding Out Simba Is Alive via GIPHY Can we ever get over that moment? Especially with a background score that gives us goosebumps and ushers in the true king of the Pride Lands. More than the celebration, it's the hope for the future of Pride Lands that seeps right through! 8. Simba Climbing Up Pride Rock & Taking His Place via GIPHY If stepping into your dad's shoes needs a representation, nothing else would have done it better. The moment is too dear and loaded for us to not give it the kind of attention and ear-numbing cheer it deserves.
  22. The biggest movie of month/year/decade is just a few days away and all the fans are so excited and hyped up for it, and so are the actors who are a part of Avengers and MCU. Everyone's gearing up for the movie in different ways, from coming up with different theories for 'Avengers: Endgame' to basically having meltdowns about the possible deaths. And some, very important fans are making parodies and making everyone laugh, maybe because this movie will for sure kill us. Jaze Phua turned the second trailer, the one that showed Tony back on earth and joining all the surviving Avengers in that hideous new white suit. Turning it into a 'Client Expectation vs Client Budget' meme, the low-budget video is actually very hilarious. It also reminds me of a low budget version of the 'Avengers: Infinity War' trailer from last year. There are so many great funny moments, I mean, look at the recreation of the plane! Literally everything going on in this gif. How they can - and should - rebuild Asgard. What is he even doing here? The chicken and obviously another creative moment. This is the moment that killed me, the fucking Nokia phone! They're doing Nebula dirty with that blue bag. 23. It's true that when Sunny Deol decides to do an action movie, you do not question it. You bow down to Sunny Paaji's unmatched stardom and enjoy the ride. Sunny Deol is back with a bang at the age of 62 with the trailer of 'Blank' which will also mark the debut of Dimple Kapadia's nephew, Karan Kapadia. Sunny plays the roles of an Intelligence Bureau officer and Karan Kapadia plays a suicide bomber who loses his memory, while the bomb is attached to his body. The trailer looks very intriguing and it's not some clichéd cat and mouse chase run movie. More than anything else, fans are extremely excited to watch Sunny back in action on the big screen. 24. I must confess, I was pretty disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm when it was announced that the Joker will have an individual movie and the supremely complicated and diabolical character will be played by none other than Joaquin Phoenix, the man who made a place in my heart since I saw the 'Gladiator'. via GIPHY I have always believed that this iconic DC villain deserves a movie of his own, so it goes without saying that I have been waiting for this for a very, very long time. Warner Brothers finally heard my prayers and, after months of teasing, finally dropped a trailer today and oh, it is glorious in every possible, dark and twisted way. The trailer shows the origin of Arthur Fleck, his troubled journey from being a small-time comedian to him finally embracing madness and becoming the Joker. Phoenix is dripping with brilliance here. No, I am not overselling this and saying this because I am a fan, but because of how effortlessly, with just a little smile, he is convincing as the clown prince of crime of Gotham City. via GIPHY His slow descent into complete madness, how he tries to bring a little laughter into the world and fails and how the 'happy face' comes to life…makes for a chilling watch. via GIPHY Also, that eerily unsettling score by Hildur Guðnadóttir is frikking perfect and just builds up to the glorious crazy. Anyway, excuse me while I go watch this a million times. Joker releases on October 4.
