  1. We love Mahendra Singh Dhoni and if you have been a regular reader of our stories, you would have an idea about how much we love him. A lot. We love him a lot. However, in this new video that surfaced online, Mahi takes some time off his busy cricketing schedule to share his plans after taking retirement from the cricketing world, which a lot of us are speculating to be immediately after the ICC World Cup 2019. “I wanted to share a secret with all of you,” the former Indian captain said in the video footage. “Right from when I was a kid, I always wanted to become an artist.” “I decided I have played a lot of cricket and it is time for me to take up what I really wanted to become so I started getting into painting,” he added. As fans of whatever 'Captain Cool' says or does on the field, we are one hundred per cent behind Dhoni and wish all the success to his desire to turn painting into a career. Having said that, it is the next part of the video which makes us feel as if 'Thala' was trolling us. I like Dhoni's helicopter shot most. But his paintings are good too.#WhyDhoniWhy pic.twitter.com/SGyWBA4sYo — Tanya Mishra (@TanyaMisti) May 20, 2019 While Dhoni shows a couple of his paintings which include sketches of a landscape, the kind we used to make in kindergarten, another one with a “futuristic aeroplane” from the year 2050 and finally a stick-figure self-portrait in his Chennai Super Kings jersey. With the excitement of a 12-year-old, Dhoni continues to show one painting after another and it is the man's simplicity that wins our hearts every single time. If the Indian wicket-keeper is serious about whatever he said in the video, then we are expecting a brilliant art exhibition sometime in the future which would consist of every idea or emotion the cricketer wanted to express through colours and surely, it will be a sight for sore eyes. Dhoni also invites the “art community” to have a look at whatever he has created till date and is open to suggestions and advice with regards to helping him better his craft. Did we mention how much we love MS Dhoni?
  2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been getting a lot of slack on social media for making some wild claims one after the other. After the 'Cloud theory' that went viral across social media platforms yesterday, our PM is back under the radar for saying he was one of the first people in the country to use a digital camera and some other tech gadgets. Yes, a clip from his recent interview with News Nation has now gone viral. In that video, PM Modi is seen claiming that he was among the first people in India to use a digital camera in 1988. He said he used the camera to click a photograph of LK Advani. Adding on to that, PM Modi also claimed that he was one of the early adopters of e-mail, back in 1988, and used an iPad-like tablet with a stylus in the early 90s. Well, you don't have to be a genius to find out that neither the digital camera nor e-mail services existed in the timelines he mentioned. So, people were obviously not going to keep quiet. A lot of people decided to call our PM out on social media. Economist Rupa Subramanya, for instance, pointed out that e-mail was available only to a select few in West in 1988. Well, can't really argue with that. In 1988, even in the developed west, email was available to a few academics and scientists but Modi somehow used it in 1988 in India before it was officially introduced to the rest of us in 1995. ð³ https://t.co/cq3nhRLEQJ — Rupa Subramanya (@rupasubramanya) May 12, 2019 A lot of others decided to pitch in too. @PMOIndia ke paas batwa nahi tha (kyunki paise nahi the!) lekin 1988 mein digital camera aur email tha? All of this would be really funny if it weren't so embarrassing. A PM who'll literally say ANYTHING that comes to his mind can't possibly be trusted with our national security https://t.co/pmoGNQQtHi — Asaduddin Owaisi (@asadowaisi) May 12, 2019 Ahem... iPad in 1990, a digital camera in 1987. Does Modi live in the same dimension as us? — Akshay Bhalla (@Bhallanator) May 13, 2019 I went to the US in 1993. AOL was the dominant player. It started as an internet service provider in early 90s. We used to go to university to use email (DOS based). 1988? This is so embarrassing for India. #Feku https://t.co/KQfdYGGmmG — Salman Anees Soz (@SalmanSoz) May 12, 2019 Internet in India in 1995 and digital camera in 1990 but Modi hai to 1988 mein bhi email pe digital photo transfer mumkin hai. https://t.co/C1BV00VLzp — Panini Anand (@paninianand) May 12, 2019 “The first commercial production digital camera went on sale in 1990.” The first commercial production digital camera went on sale in 1990. In 1987, Modi had a digital camera. Surely must have been this prototype. pic.twitter.com/H7b8FMclha — Divider Preð¤ Verde â (@PresidentVerde) May 13, 2019
  3. The sixth season of 'Koffee With Karan' is hands down the best season of all time. In fact, with each episode, the show is only getting bigger and better, both for the fans as well as for the trolls. The previous episode saw the cast of 'Student Of The Year 2' Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria brew gossip and coffee on Karan Johar's coveted 'Koffee' couch. The episode ended with Ananya Panday winning the hamper and now she is winning the internet by trolling herself. View this post on Instagram And I won the hamper!!! â¤ï¸ðºð» “itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki he” 𤪠I hope you guys “enjoyed”!!!! ð#KoffeeWithKaran A post shared by Ananya ð©ð»‍ðð« (@ananyapanday) on Feb 17, 2019 at 8:51am PST Ananya's confession of not being deserving enough to be a part of the show wasn't the only highlight; her expressions too caught people's attention, which is now being used to churn out hilarious memes. View this post on Instagram Koffee has never tasted better â¤ï¸âï¸ A dream come true for me!!! Thank you so much @karanjohar for having us ð©ð»‍ð @tigerjackieshroff @tarasutaria__ #SOTY2 #TheStudents #KoffeeWithKaran A post shared by Ananya ð©ð»‍ðð« (@ananyapanday) on Feb 10, 2019 at 4:27am PST But, what's funnier than the memes on Ananya? The fact that she is sharing them herself and relating to all of them. Screenshot Screenshot Screenshot Screenshot For instance, this meme referring to her reaction to Kartik Aaryan's character Chintu Tyagi from the movie 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'. Screenshot Although 'Student Of The Year 2' is yet to release, Ananya has already bagged her second film. She will be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' that also stars Bhumi Pednekar.
  4. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's social media war may be the best thing online, and I'm not even exaggerating. Both of them are brilliant actors who keep us entertained on-screen but their off-screen antics are what honestly makes them trolling goals/friendship goals. We all know a healthy friendship consists of constant roasting and they both have it covered. But, after so many Twitter 'feuds', they decided to call a truce. But it's Ryan and Hugh so obviously, things didn't go exactly as planned. (or, did it go perfectly?) So basically, they decided to call a truce and end their social media war by doing something nice for one another - making an ad for each other's company. Ryan Reynolds has Aviation Gin and he doesn't let go of any chance at promoting it and Hugh has Laughing Man Coffee. Seems perfect, right? Having your super famous friends promote your product? What can go wrong? Well, a lot, apparently. © YouTube Ryan went first in showing his ad for Laughing Man Coffee and kept his part of the deal. I mean, he nailed it and the million dollars he spent on it was worth it. With so many puns on Hugh's name, there just cannot be a better ad for Hugh Jackman's company. I'm just surprised Ryan didn't take this opportunity to get revenge about the sweater prank from Christmas. But oops, Ryan's commercial was so good that now Hugh did not want to show his own ad for Aviation Gin. Any guesses why? Turns out he never expected his friend to actually pass up the chance to troll him on such a big level, so Hugh came prepared for anything and everything that Ryan could throw his way, but a great, professional-looking expensive ad wasn't it. I'm sorry Ryan, I love you, but Hugh won this round by a landslide. Your ad was good but Hugh Jackman killed it! Most of the time, it's Ryan doing all the trolling but now, I feel like the score has evened out. And, Ryan's face at the end is priceless. I have watched this video over 10 times and I'm honestly still not over it, Ryan's face kills me every time. Here's the entire video- (Yes, we all know it was planned all along but we can pretend it's real and how Hugh Jackman trolled the hell out of Ryan Reynolds, thanks.) A buddy cop movie, please! Holy ****! We don't deserve these guys. Please please please make a wolverine, dead pool movie. Or just a Ryan and Hugh buddy cop movie. Haha — Patrick O'Donnell (@PunkBobNoPants) February 6, 2019 We need it now! When @RealHughJackman poured the gin out on his table that was the incing on the cake for me. LOL These guys need to do another movie together. — Blake (@FresnoFCBlake) February 6, 2019 Literally what happened. pic.twitter.com/XKyCpLnD90 — UNNIKRISHNAN (@Unni_S_NaiR) February 6, 2019 The meme has come full circle. The situation right now ðð#LaughingMan pic.twitter.com/vJqqW4PpDi — Vikrant Aarav (@aarav_vikrant) February 6, 2019 Ryan trying to get all the sympathy. Right!!? — Aviation American Gin (@AviationGin) February 6, 2019 Finally. Joke's on Deadpool for once ððpic.twitter.com/oFNTCRY2vJ — Trudy (@trudyhp) February 6, 2019 Goals! Love the @VancityReynolds @RealHughJackman friendship. I mean one has a gin brand and the other a coffee brand. Match made in heaven! One helps you get drunk in the night, the other helps with the hangover in the morning. #FriendshipGoals — Tanvi Modi (@TanviModi) February 6, 2019
  5. The Pixel 3 series is definitely one of the most anticipated phones of the year. Details about the duo have leaked a million times in the last few months and we pretty much knew everything before the launch, but now that it's official, things are different. The Pixel series by Google is supposed to be a benchmark for the true capabilities of Android, hence the software comes straight from Google and is closely knit with the hardware for maximum performance. The predecessors of the Pixel 3 have received a lukewarm response in terms of sales, but have managed to carve a niche for the company in the photography segment. Coming back to the Pixel 3, the phone follows the same signature Google design on the back that includes a aluminum frame with hybrid coating, Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 on the front and Soft touch glass (Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5) on the back. The new Pixel phones are also IP68 water and dust resistant. The fingerprint scanner is located in the centre at te back, while the front has a fairly large top and chin thanks to the stereo speakers. The Pixel 3XL has the same design on the back but brings in a tall notch at the front. Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch display FH+(FHD+ (2160 x 1080) flexible OLED with an aspect ratio of 18:9 while the 3 XL has a 6.2-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440) flexible display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Google has definitely put the OLED display panels to test after last year's burn-in scare, to make sure there are no reliability issues. Powering the duo is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 4GB RAM in the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL. The two now also support wireless charging, which was very well expected since the iPhone too incorporated the feature. The main forte of the Pixel series has always been the camera, and only time will tell how much smarter has Google's AI gotten. Like the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Google is sticking to a single rear camera setup on the Pixel 3 series. The rear shooter is a 12.2-megapixel dual-pixel 1.4μm sensor, while the two front shooters on both have an 8-megapixel lens — one of them being a wide-angle lens. © YouTube The Pixel 3 XL has a 3430mAh battery while the Pixel 3 has a 2915 mAh battery. A new accessory is also coming along called the "Pixel Stand", it is a first party wireless charger that keeps the phone upright and kicks it into a special software mode that seems like something close to a Google Smart Display. The Pixel 3 is available in three colours i.e. Just Black, Clearly White, Not Pink and is priced at US$ (approx. Rs) while the Pixel 3 XL is available in xxx variants and is priced at US$ (approx. Rs). In India, it will be priced as follows: â¹71,000 (Pixel 3 64GB), â¹80,000 (Pixel 3 128GB), â¹83,000 (Pixel 3 XL 64GB), and â¹ 92,000 (Pixel 3 XL 128GB). All variants will be available from November 1st 2018.
  6. The soon to launch Pixel 3 has been leaking for the past few months and now, we've reached a point where Google really just needs to reveal the pricing at the launch. We pretty much know everything about the phone: CAD Renders, Specifications, Software tweaks, and anything else you can imagine. Google has scheduled an event on October 9 and will be releasing the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The Pixel community lately has been buzzing with rumours that Google will unveil the Pixel Ultra. Concept images of the phone reveal an edge-to-edge display with no chin. At the same time, there have also been rumours of a Pixel Mini and it is expected to sport a smaller display. View this post on Instagram We've heard rumors of a mini Pixel. Which begs the question how “mini” is too mini? We have a feeling the next one will be a bit bigger than this. Tune in on 10/9 to see for yourself. #madebygoogle . . Doodle by Google hardware designer, @jac.bae. A post shared by Made by Google (@madebygoogle) on Oct 2, 2018 at 7:02pm PDT To further troll or maybe even actually tease us, the Made by Google account on Instagram created an “Art Gallery” account to showcase shots from the Google Pixel and shared design mockups of a “tiny phone.” The shot is complete with physical models and a sketch of a device small enough to fit on a keychain. A Reddit thread is trending right now where users are sharing their interpretation of the image. HSingh95 says, "Okay, now they're DEFINITELY screwing with us. I think this is the first I've seen anything about a Pixel Mini. Something tells me we're getting more than 2 phones this year, but who knows what size? Also, that larger mockup definitely has 2 circles where the camera would be." © PhoneArena Given the fact that the Pixel 3 has been leaking way too often, even we are considering an event where Google releases not just two, but maybe three phones. And what if the phones they release are completely different than the leaks we've seen? Google has definitely done a marvelous job of taking us for a ride, and the hype for the new Pixel devices is surely all-time high. For now, we know the Pixel 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor and sport a single lens rear camera. The duo may also sport a rather deep notch that will house a dual front camera setup.
  7. On days when Priyanka Chopra is not chilling with Nick Jonas, she is busy making headlines for the same and for the decisions she takes in her professional life. People still haven't stopped talking about her sudden exit from Salman Khan's 'Bharat' or why her movie with Chris Pratt has been delayed for an indefinite time. Instagram However, in all these years or since the time people started following her on social media, her fans have never seen her workout pictures or videos. So what's the secret behind her fitness? I am sure there's no magical fountain she is secretly sipping from. It's obvious that she works hard to be healthy and fit and her latest gym selfie is proof of the same. Recently, Priyanka suprised her 26 million fans with a gym selfie with the caption, "In between sets..#selfies#trainingday." In between sets.. #selfiefirst #trainingday ð¤¦ð½‍âï¸ð A post shared by Priyanka Chopra (@priyankachopra) on Aug 7, 2018 at 12:16am PDT But, that's not even the best part of the picture. The best thing about her gym selfie was a single comment that came from none other than her on-screen brother from 'Dil Dhadakne Do' Ranveer Singh. Being the prankster that Ranveer is, he couldn't stop himself from making the most out of this golden opportunity. He wrote, "PC working out? I have seen everything. What are you eating post workout? Chivda?" Now that sounds like a legit question, doesn't it? Instagram Priyanka Chopra was quick to reply to his comment, "Nahi yaar! I have learned focus and dedication from you!" Honestly, we are in love with this funny banter that's going on between the two. Instagram While everyone including us, her friends and stylist were shocked to see this selfie, it sure is a great motivation for those trying to get a perfect summer body, for 2019 since 2018 is almost over.
