  1. Season 8 of 'Game of Thrones' premiered today and boy, oh boy, has it given new light to a particular theory that we've been speculating for so long. Cersei Lannister was introduced to us as a cruel, conniving Queen who was willing to cross any lines when it came to protecting her kids and lover/ twin brother Jaime. We've hated her initially and then we grew to admire her for her unpredictable moves that would challenge the whole sequence of events (remember the burning of the Sept?) all orchestrated seamlessly. A major motivation and central to her arc is the Prophecy that Cersei was made acquainted to as a little girl. © HBO While going deep into the woods around Casterly Rock, Cersei stumbled upon an old woman called Maggy the Frog, who turned out to be a powerful fortune teller. Cersei asked Maggy three questions about her future, however, the answers weren't hopeful. The first said that she wouldn't marry a Prince, but a King. The second said that she would be cast down by a younger and a more beautiful queen who would take all that she held dear. Further, Maggy told Cersei that the king would have 20 children, but that Cersei would only have three, and “gold will be their crowns, and gold their shrouds.” Now, of all the three predictions, Margaery Tyrell did manage to take away most of what Cersei held dear to her including her son, Tommen but besides these three predictions, in 'A Feast for Crows', the fourth book in the series, Maggy reveals to Cersei one final part of the prophecy: “The valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale throat and choke the life from you.” Now, here the valonqar translates to a younger brother. For Cersei, this has always been Tyrion as someone who could possibly try to kill her. © HBO However, if you notice, there is this other 'younger brother' in Cersei's life. Yes, we're talking about Jaime Lannister. © HBO After watching the first episode, this prediction could come to life, because Cersei has commissioned Bron to assassin Jamie. If this fails, Jamie could possibly come after Cersei because he's clearly repulsed by Cersei's rule, which is like the Mad King in more ways than one. To begin with, Cersei made Tyrion believe at the end of the seventh season that she would send the Iron Fleet to help fight The Army Of the Undead. This obviously, was a lie which Tyrion failed to see through for a change. She couldn't care less about the White Walkers or the impending doom as long as she could save herself from it. In the fifth episode of season 7, Cersei told Jaime that she was pregnant. Now, in the premiere of season 8, she consummated her alliance with Euron Greyjoy because the only way she could keep the Iron Fleet and have her way around with it was if she would sleep with Euron which, to her seemed a small price to pay. © HBO Now, Euron telling Cersei “I'm going to put a prince into your belly” is practically impossible — if, indeed, Cersei is still pregnant. It's unclear, however, if that's the case. If you recall, Cersei nixed drinking last season when she realized that she was pregnant. But in today's episode, she was seen sipping a glass of wine after sleeping with Euron. While the Westerosi doctors probably aren't warning Cersei against fetal alcohol syndrome, the change could signal a change in Cersei's status. Regardless of whether Cersei is pregnant or not, she's likely to lose her baby at some point to that effect taking into account how things are moving. But the question is if a majority of the theory has come to pass, as we are still waiting to see who will be the vanquisher of Cersei. It could still be Tyrion, if Jaime ends up getting executed or killed before or during the battle of Winterfell. It could also be Euron Greyjoy. Technically he is the younger brother of Balon Greyjoy and passes the criterion of a valonqar if he realizes that his relationship with Cersei is not based on trust and she could betray him any time.

  3. Delhi Capitals (DC), the team which has seen a different side of themselves after the change in their name, have given a decent performance in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Winning three games out of the six they have played so far, Delhi have managed to maintain the fifth spot in the league table, courtesy the skipper; Shreyas Iyer. Always leading the team from the front, Iyer has been a crucial part of the DC in all the matches they have played till now. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Delhi Capitals (@delhicapitals) on Apr 7, 2019 at 7:23am PDT Starting off by scoring decent 30's and 40's in the first few matches, the DC captain managed to score a mind-boggling 67 against the wounded Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their home ground on Sunday. Handing RCB their sixth consecutive loss by defeating them by four wickets, Iyer did not only win the match but also earned the third place in the race for 'The Orange Cap' by scoring 215 runs in all the six matches he has played. Now, settling with the perfect combination of his team, the Mumbai lad is at least expected to take his team, Delhi Capitals to the top four by the end of the season, if not winning the trophy.
  4. A lot of people may not be a fan of Justin Bieber - or are they after 'Despacito'? I don't know, I can't keep up - but him being a protective and incredible husband today would make anyone respect him. Basically, what went down was that Justin shared a picture of Hailey Bieber on Instagram, which is pretty standard, I mean a husband sharing his wife's picture. Don't miss out his toe, tho. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) on Mar 25, 2019 at 6:51pm PDT And then, someone decided to leave a nasty message because online trolls are the worst at times. It was basically a hate account dedicated to Hailey. The comment was directed at both Hailey and Justin, with the person basically saying the only reason Justin married Hailey was to get Selena Gomez back. Yep, someone actually told a very much in love, married man that HE doesn't love his wife. 404 Error: No logic found. What even? He's married, people, stop bringing up his exes. Even Justin himself was so fed up by this, he took the time to personally write out a long reply putting the troll in their place, and give out an explanation once and for all. If you look past the grammar - or the lack of it - it's a pretty good, hard-hitting reply. This is a man who has millions of fans who would demonize any person he's linked with for some reason, and he's had enough. He even posted it on his story so that everyone can see, because his comment is now deleted. Honestly, this is how you defend someone you love. Whatever anyone thinks of Justin, this was straight up husband goals, don't even deny it.
  5. Back in 2013, when Neymar joined Barcelona, the world of football was busy contemplating the attacking threat he'd pose alongside Lionel Messi for the Catalan giants. A year later, the arrival of Luis Suarez at Camp Nou allowed Barcelona to boast of one of the deadliest attacking trios in club football. What was soon labelled as 'MSN', the partnership between Messi, Neymar and Suarez allowed Barcelona to scale new heights as the Spanish giants went past one opponent after another, adding more silverware to their trophy cabinet. But, the iconic partnership came to an end in 2017 when Neymar decided to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a record 222-million-euro fee. © Reuters Since then, there has been a lot of speculation about Neymar's departure from the La Liga club. While some suggested that he was unhappy with the wages, others claimed that Neymar was tired of playing under the shadows of Barca talisman Messi. In fact, a few days ago, Neymar's father had to clarify that Messi had nothing to do with his son's exit from Barcelona. Following in the footsteps of his father, Neymar, too, has come out praising Messi's influence during his stint at Barcelona. In an emotional interview with publication Globo Esporte, the Brazilian revealed how welcoming the Argentine was when he was finding his footing at Camp Nou. © Reuters "It's a story I tell everyone. At the time when I needed the most support, the man on the team, the best in the world, came and gave me love. Leo was a very special guy for me at Barcelona. He talked to me and said: '[When you] come here, you must be yourself, you must be happy and the same as in Santos. Do not be shy, do not be afraid of me or anyone in this club. We are here to help you'," Neymar revealed. Following his departure from Barcelona, Neymar has gone on to form another deadly partnership with Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani at PSG. While he is currently nursing his injury, Neymar has proved to be a vital cog in the PSG set-up, scoring 48 goals in 53 appearances. The 27-year-old is expected to make a comeback for PSG in the vital second-leg clash against Manchester United in the Round Of 16 tie of the ongoing Champions League on 7th March.
  6. The Pulwama terror attack has shaken the entire nation but the ones most affected by the consequences are the ones who lost their loved ones in the attack. Over 40 CRPF jawans were martyred and while everyone can understand the magnitude of the loss, we cannot fathom the endurance that their families have to cope with the death of their lost loved one. © Twitter Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal, who hailed from Dehradun, lost his life in a recent encounter with terrorists in Pulwama and his mortal remains were brought to his family in his hometown for cremation. It is not the full military honours that he got or the presence of his family that painted a painstaking picture, but the sheer courage that his wife showed to pay him a tribute before his heavenly abode, is what gave us goosebumps. #WATCH Wife of Major VS Dhoundiyal (who lost his life in an encounter in Pulwama yesterday) by his mortal remains. #Dehradun #Uttarakhand pic.twitter.com/5HWD6RXwnO — ANI (@ANI) February 19, 2019 Major Vibhuti's wife Nikita showed nerves of steel as she maintained her calm and whispered 'I love you' to him and gave him a flying kiss, while not shedding a single tear. The couple married last year in April 2018 and Major Vibhuti was bound to return home in April for their first anniversary. Before his remains were cremated, his wife bravely and proudly shouted 'Jain Hind' before breaking down as she cried 'I love you' to her brave husband. While these visuals will remain etched in our hearts for a long time, we can't help but wonder that we don't know what courage or real bravery is until we have seen someone display it as Nikita did. She is a woman of steel and will continue to inspire us with her undying spirit.
  7. Yes, it's the day of love and just like everyone else, Netflix too decided to give some of it away to us, because honestly it's become a hell of a useful tool to celebrate all sorts of 'chills' we may want to with our loved ones. © Netflix On Valentine's Day though, Netflix has come out with a beautiful video to celebrate all kinds of love and we found it so endearing we had to go ahead and share it. The poetic journey of falling in love is a tale as old as time. From 'Mughal-E-Azam' to 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', each story is filled with moments which remind us just how powerful human connections can be. © Netflix The video is a beautiful rendition of a modern-day love story between two men, who hopelessly fall in love with one another and live to celebrate their love, every day. As their relationship develops and their love grows stronger and 'stranger'. We follow them as they lay the foundations for their lives together... along with a small hiccup on the way. One of them watches an episode of their favourite show 'Stranger Things' without the other and what follows next is so endearing, it'll make you want to forgive every fight you may have ever had with your SO! © Netflix After all, at the end of the day, every relationship is an 'Original'. This love story was brought to life by acclaimed filmmaker Reema Sengupta. Through an emotive palate and lingering visuals, she captured this manifestation of Indian romance in all of its beauty. © Netflix "We wanted to come together to make a film that cares about what it says, how it says it and the processes through which it is made. It was exciting to know that Netflix cared just as much! Netflix really has become an integral part of the modern love story. A considerable portion of our relationships today are spent lazing around with our partners watching Netflix, discussing shows, or Netflix & chilling! A lot of love went into making this, and we all came out of it feeling much closer. Even while we were making the film, the entire crew could feel the importance of this representation and pushed themselves to the limit to bring this to life." Reema spoke about her film to Netflix. © Netflix After all, if we can't transcend the love we have for one another into stories then what's the point of even having love, to begin with! Stories catch the very essence of everything basic you need to fulfil an emotion and if we have a story on our favourite love portal, then there's nothing like it, is there! It's time to show courage, tell your story and aptly profess your love for one another this Valentine's Day!
  8. "All relationships go through hell, but real relationships get through it" A very popular saying that cements the true threshold of honest and bold relationships. Couples who don't waver during tough times, and work on heard-earned relationships are the ones who make it out best. And we believe that because we have amidst us Tanya and Nikhil, who've lived their story through several ups and downs- one of them being starting their own business and making things work, despite the many differences that tried to deter their strife as a couple, together. (c)Instagram When two people come together to start a beautiful association, the most basic and fundamental aspect is the mutual understanding of their respective beings. That's the most basic element of compatibility. If you can't understand your partner inherently, you cannot decipher anything else about the relationship. When Tanya and Nikhil met for the first time, they already knew this fact, because they fit into each other's lives like a long lost piece of a puzzle. (c)Instagram Tanya is a musician and Nikhil was working in hospitality back then, so their meeting was predestined and well-timed at the local watering hole, indeed. He recognised her as his teacher's daughter and picked up a conversation from there with her and the rest was history! "We met at the first year anniversary of a popular pub where she was performing. Needless to say, our first conversation was a catastrophe; since it went along the lines of "Hey, are you Shalini Nambiar's daughter? I used to have the biggest crush on her!" Tanya promptly walked away from me. Luckily, there was alcohol flowing, and that made follow up conversations easier." - Nikhil (c)Instagram Since the meeting then, they've been inseparable. Be it their first date, where Tanya literally 'bowled' him over by winning a round of bowling, or the big marriage proposal surprise, or even their ardent love for animals, they've made their story worth telling because its essence is very basic- trust, honesty, faith and working hard on a relationship, to make it last long. "A moment I can never forget is the day, I asked her to marry me. There had been a huge build-up for it. I had been dropping hints for over 8 months that "marriage is a sham" and that I did not want to do it at all. Needless to say, I had been dumped close to seventy-five thousand times during this period. So, when I asked to marry me, I reckon she was absolutely shocked, I even had a friend in disguise record the whole video. I must say, playing the long game is complicated and frustrating, but the rewards justify the whole struggle." - Nikhil (c)Instagram Couples Who Love Together Work Together While deciding a life together, two people go over all the pros and cons they'd come across in order to make the equation as malleable as possible. They decide how to be with each other, around each other, set a few ground rules, and hold the dynamic with utmost respect and adulation as and when required. While that's what they aimed at doing, their standpoint for making the relationship work was also in sync and in balance with starting a business together, as well and working to build its legacy together. "We started our hot sauce business "El Diablo Sauces" together in Jan 2017. We started the business with whatever little money we had and it's completely self-funded till date. The fact that our business completed 2 years this Jan 2019 and despite all the fighting we are still together, working hard, it really is a big milestone for me. I mean the fact that we are in each other's face all the time and are working together, fights are inevitable. But we are still holding on to each other strong and have learnt so much about each other." - Tanya (c)Insatgram They say if two people share a rather amorous bond, they should definitely never start a business together. But when Nikhil and Tanya decided to start their business, they couldn't see a better fit. Yes, it's a different ordeal altogether to disagree upon a few aspects and have arguments and fights on how to chisel it into a finer fabric, but once they saw the finality, it was all worth it. The idea for their business sprouted from Nikhil, but Tanya pushed him further to take it up as a full-time endeavour, while she'd always be a very welcoming support. Right at the time when they were about to tie the knot, their business started flourishing as well, and it was a tough time for them to come through with everything all at once. (c)Instagram "We started our marriage with a rocky financial start because we started our business. Put whatever we had in it. I encouraged him about starting a business together because his idea for the sauces was brilliant and I told him he should quit his job and start it and told him I would back him 100 per cent no matter what. And that's how we started. Everyone thought it was the most foolish thing on my part. I'm newly married, asking my husband to quit his job to start a business we have no idea if it will work or not." - Tanya Now because of their due diligence and working together night and day to sufficiently run their business, it picked up the pace and started functioning rather fluently. But what does it take for a couple to reach a kindred milestone to work on something so close to their heart, together? Is it the spirit? or strength? or just a mighty heart, knowing things can get rocky, but the inadequacies shouldn't affect their daily dealings. In all forms of companionship, it honestly takes meeting your better half, right in the middle, to negotiate the best ways to run a start-up together. It's like negotiating any other compliance. Be it household chores or relationship goals, when you're in a working space together, meeting halfway is still the run-of-the-mill mark. (c)Instagram "We have faced so many ups and downs individually and together, it became exhausting after a certain time. But we always pick ourselves up, dust off the baggage and just move on. We both are polar opposites but still keep our relationship going. Nikhil and I will fight like crazy but then after the nasty battles, we move on. We don't give up on our relationship no matter how hard it gets. But it's taught me how to adjust, how to meet someone halfway. When we try to change our partners completely that's when the issues arise, we need to learn to meet halfway. I've learnt that we got to stick to each other no matter what. Because that's what a family is all about. We've been together for 6 years and we are going all the way". -Tanya (c)Instagram In summation of their fantastic journey together, I'd like to add that no matter how many hardships you may endure in a relationship, giving up on each other or bailing with an intention to make your own life easier is not a solution. Long-term relationships thrive on love that's stronger than the will to break away and flee from difficulties and support that's unconditional. If a couple can't make amends and breath in the same hardship and tranquillity together, then the equation is just not meant to be. What Tanya and Nikhil teach us every day is to appreciate good knowledge you hold of the other person, strive hard to balance work and love and to keep one another as grounded and approachable as possible. "This relationship has taught me that illegal drugs and a gun are cheaper in the long run; but it has also taught me that with the right person, you are able to face anything with a big smile on your face and the all the confidence in the world. So, if that interests you, find it; it's out there. Take it from a man who is probably more trouble than it's worth." - Nikhil
  9. Instead of the Avengers assembling, this time we had a pure moment of Marvel fans assembling to make a dying man's wish come true. A 33-year-old Marvel fan from Australia named Alexander is suffering from liver cancer, mouth cancer, and the rare genetic disease Fanconi anaemia which affects the bone marrow, and he thinks he could die before the official release of the movie 'Avengers: Endgame'. Being a huge fan, he decided to try his luck and asked people to help him get an early screening of the movie with a post on Reddit. But, he also noted he's “not a child or anyone with a particularly tragic story”, just a normal guy. He thought he would make it to April, but his “bone marrow is toast”. It's good to see that even with so much happening, Alexander hasn't lost his sense of humour since the Reddit thread is called “Dying Before April: My Endgame”. Obviously, anyone would do anything to catch an early screening of one of the most awaited movies, but this is a special case and all the Marvel fans united to get Marvel and Disney to take notice. The internet came together and the hashtag #Avengers4Alexander spread on Twitter. With an update on the original post, he informed everyone that even apparently Chris Hemsworth, God of Thunder himself is aware of the situation because “Australia is a small place, turns out I know a guy who knows a guy who is chums with Chris Hemsworth”. With so many well wishes coming his way, he also wrote, “I don't know what the outcome will be but this has been amazing. If it doesn't pan out don't sweat it - I'll carry your kind words with me and that's worth far more.” He also took a cheeky shot and said, “Lastly, I don't mean to be greedy but since I'm triple dying can we throw Captain Marvel into the mix?” With this request, he also shared a picture of his dog as a bribe. And then, it finally happened, Disney reached out to him and the whole thing turned into one of the those rare, beautiful internet moments where everyone works together. Sharing the exciting news, his last update on the Reddit post is - “Disney have reached out and we are discussing options. I cried when I read their email. It's everything I hoped for and I owe it to all of you.” People on Twitter are also very excited about his wish come true and have nothing but appreciation for everyone who held make it happen. A man will get his dying wish fulfilled. Thanks to the beautiful internet. 10 years back this wouldn't have been possible. This is some good stuff that we have achieved.https://t.co/xacO9U6KKc#avengers4alexander#avengersforalexander#AvengersEndGame #10yearchallenge — Anuj Godase (@dahelmetguy) January 19, 2019 Sometimes, it is. 10. The Galaxy S10+ is expected to launch soon. However, we've previously seen various leaks and renders that suggested its design. It was rumoured to have a large Infinity-O display with a wide cutout for front-facing cameras. The cut out was in the shape of a pill that suggested it would sport a dual front-facing camera setup. It seems like the rumours may have been true all along as it was spotted in the wild and we finally have a real-life image. © Slashleaks The image was posted on Slashleaks where the alleged smartphone was being used in a bus. The image is not as sharp as we would like it but it still gives away quite a few details. We can see on the top right corner of the screen where the pill-shaped dual camera setup is present. The bezels have also been reduced considerably as we can see the display covers most of the front. © Twitter/VenyaGeskin1 We've already seen a punch-hole design on the Honor View 20; however, it would be interesting to see if Samsung's front-facing camera actually works in the favour of the user. It could be a bit more intrusive. However, we can only know that once we use the device for ourselves. Previous rumours have suggested that the Galaxy S10 and S10 E will have a similar punch-hole camera setup as renders have shown a smaller cutout. The Galaxy S10+ is also said to have a 4,000 mAh battery just like the Galaxy Note 9. © Twitter/Evan Blass The launch date for these phones have already been confirmed and will launch on February 20th in San Francisco. The company has decided to skip the Mobile World Conference and it is unlikely that we will see any other major announcements from the South Korean giant that week. It's not the first time Samsung has skipped the conference, as in 2017, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S8 at a separate event in March. The smartphones are also rumoured to have an in-display fingerprint sensor and a headphone jack. If you want to know more about the upcoming smartphones you can always check out our previous coverage here. Samsung is also expected to launch the first 5G phone alongside the Galaxy S10 and is expected to have souped-up specifications as well. You can read all about Samsung's 5G phone here.
  11. The 76th Golden Globe Awards happened last night, well...technically around 6.30 this morning and we don't think people have ever cared for any other award show as much as they did for this one. However, the credit does not only go to the hosts Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg or the actors who were nominated, as there is another crucial person involved. 12. In the short time span of his evolving career, Rishabh Pant has established himself as one of the best trash-talkers of the sport the world has ever seen. The 21-year-old is not afraid of roasting the biggest names in the game and gets under their skin with ease. And then there's the Aussie captain Tim Paine, a true sledging veteran himself. You know you are good at getting on your opponents' nerves when even their Prime Minister acknowledges you as a sledger. As Team India celebrated the first day of 2019, at Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison's residence, Pant was welcomed with open arms for his aggressive nature on the field, as the PM expressed how much he appreciates a good, competitive game. The 4-match Test series has been drawing headlines specifically because of the hilarious banter Pant and Paine have been exchanging. The fact that they are genuinely funny and seem to irk the victims, makes them so much more entertaining. There have been long stints during the series when the need for commentators felt so little because of the intensity the boys were going back and forth with. We can track the inception of the verbal rivalry back to Adelaide when the Indian wicket-keeper was trying to get inside his Delhi Capitals teammate Pat Cummins. While the Australians are used to the psychological warfare, Pant's relentlessness a was sight for sore eyes for the Indian fans. Having said that, true fans of cricket would agree that the words being exchanged between the two are in good faith and without hatred or ill intentions. Rishabh Pant and Tim Paine have successfully exemplified the true essence of the phrase 'sportsman spirit' as they left their rivalry behind on the field and embraced each other like college buddies at the Australian PM's house. We have to commend the humour Pant saw behind getting an image taken with Paine's wife and kids after Paine's threw the 'babysitter' shade at him. Tim Paine to @RishabPant777 at Boxing Day Test: "You babysit? I'll take the wife to the movies one night, you'll look after the kids?" *Challenge accepted!* ð¶ (ð¸ Mrs Bonnie Paine) pic.twitter.com/QkMg4DCyDT — ICC (@ICC) January 1, 2019 In the era of extreme competitiveness, when the idea is to win at all cost, as suggested by former Australian cricketer Stuart Clark, it is refreshing to see athletes who don't try to hurt one another mentally or physically just to win a game. More than anything, this series reflects on the fact that no matter how big the rivalry is, nothing is more important than the love and respect the two players share for each other.
  13. Building a PC can be a daunting task as you are always left confused with what you actually want. I had one goal set in my mind — build the ultimate gaming rig in my budget. Sure, this may seem like an overkill because of all the specs and components, but it's something I wanted to build at least once in my life. I visited Gamescom this year and saw Nvidia's RTX in action first-hand. That's when I decided I wanted to build myself a gaming PC that would surpass even my own expectations. I've been saving up for a PC for almost 3 years and I finally decided to take that plunge a month ago. I've been reviewing games on it and been checking out the RTX features on 'Battlefield V', but that's for another time. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla My goal was simple, build the ultimate gaming PC that could outrun the latest games without any lag and achieve the best frame rates possible. Parameters for the best gaming PC have now changed. Earlier it was all about the best frame rates. However, I also wanted to build a PC that was 4K ready and could stream my games on YouTube/Twitch with ease. I built this PC with the help of my friend who advised me about everything I need for my setup. Here's what we ended up building: 1. CPU: Intel i7-8700K (Rs 32,627) © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The CPU is probably where you should start when you try to build your own gaming rig. It's the most important component of your PC as it is responsible for putting together your entire build. We chose to get the Intel i7-8700K for our setup as Intel has been renowned for making some of the best CPUs for gaming. We could have chosen AMD's Ryzen platform instead. However, since I had my eyes set on the RTX 2080 Ti, it would not have served the purpose. 2. Asus ROG STRIX Z370E Gaming Motherboard (Rs 24,300) © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Choosing the right motherboard is probably the next big step you will have to take. The ROG STRIX Z370E is one of those high-end MOBOs that offer more than you could ask for. It has two ASM3142 controllers that separately provide Type-C and Type-A ports to the rear, and a USB 3.1 Gen2 at the front. It's a very clean motherboard that offers 2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8), 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (max at x4 mode), 4 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1. It even supports NVIDIA 2-Way SLI Technology and AMD 3-Way CrossFireX Technology which we didn't take advantage of for this setup. For more detailed information about this motherboard, you can head over to ASUS website here. 3. G.Skill Trident Z 2x16GB RGB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM (Rs 26,271) © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla If you need the speed, you have to invest in a solid RAM as it will make your life easier when playing games. We opted to go with the G.Skill Trident 2x16GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM as it was perfect for our gaming needs. Apart from performing well, it also needed to look good and this particular RAM is equipped with an RGB lightbar. However, the G.Skill Trident Z refuses to run at that speed but was rock solid at 3000MHz which was more than enough for daily gaming. 4. Zotac GeForce RTX 2080Ti AMP (Rs 1,15,000) © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Investing in a proper graphics card can either make or break your experience. One needs to invest in a graphics card that is future proof and can run current games at ease without any frame rate drops. The Zotac GeForce RTX 2080Ti AMP has three fans which allow better cooling and overclocking. It's based on Nvidia's new Turing architecture that does a lot more than previous iterations. The Zotac RTX 2080 Ti AMP features 4,352 CUDA cores, 11GB of GDDR6 video memory, a memory clock of 14Gbps, and a stock boost clock of 1665MHz. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla It also offers Deep Learning Super Sampling or DLSS which basically loads the game into a neural network. AI then uses machine learning to produce a perfect version of the image. For more info about Nvidia's latest Turing architecture, you can read about it in detail here. 5. Corsair VS650 650 Watt Power Supply Unit (Rs 5,090) The power supply unit (PSU) is something you cannot ignore or want to save money on. With a setup like this, you will need a powerful PSU that doesn't burn up your expensive components. We chose the Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU as it fits perfectly in our case and more importantly, can handle the amount of power our PC draws. 6. Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (Rs 9,000) © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla When you're running a gaming PC with these specs, you will need a reliable CPU cooler that will keep everything cool. We first bought the Coolermaster Liquid 240 which turned out to be faulty as the temperature on our CPU was going up to 84 degrees on idle. We replaced it with another Liquid 240 CPU cooler that also turned out to be faulty and finally decided to go with the Corsair Hydro Series H100i. From personal experience, we can confidently say always test the components you buy. With the experience we had, we're never buying another Coolermaster product again. 7. Memory © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla With a gaming rig like this, you need to invest in an SSD as it keeps your machine running at top speed. It will help you boot your system faster and reduce loading times as well. Having said that, we aren't using the SSD for booting up games as we use it exclusively for booting up applications such as Photoshop, Premier Pro and Streamlabs OBS. Instead, we installed two 7200 RPM 4TB hard drives and coupled one of them with Intel's 32GB Optane memory. This is where we store all our games and it effectively runs as fast as the SSD with the added advantage of 4TB storage. . Samsung 970 EVO SSD 500GB (Rs 17,999) . 2XSeagate IronWolf 4TB 7200RPM HDD (Rs 16,500) . Intel Optane Memory 16GB PCIe M.2 (Rs 4,089) Peripherals © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse and the case are quite subjective and depend entirely on your budget and taste. The display also depends on what kind of refresh rate you require or whether you want to game in 4K resolution. So without getting into many details, here's what we are using for playing games on our setup: . CORSAIR K70 LUX Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (Rs 11,880) . Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse (Rs 5,995) . Acer 28 inch (71.12 cm) 4K Monitor (Rs 26,500) . Aorus Gigabyte AC300W R2 ATX Mid-Tower Case (Rs 4,000) . HyperX Cloud Revolver S Headset (Rs 11,500) So there you have it, our high-end gaming PC that's future-proof for the next three years. It may seem like an overkill; however, PC gamers always aspire to have the best and we tried to achieve that with this setup. You can always run down the cost by picking cheaper options. However, in our experience, it turned out to be a bust as two coolants of the same brand turned out to be faulty. If you need help in building a PC, you can always hit us up on social media and we may give you the best options for your budget.

  15. Earlier this year, Xiaomi joined the gaming-centric club with the launch of Black Shark phone. We've seen many other phone makers get in this niche segment, thanks to the growing mobile phone industry. While handheld consoles have been around for decades, our phones are now taking over all the responsibilities. For years, brands have concentrated on the camera, display, and connectivity of phones. Now, it's time to bring in mobile gaming. In an effort to strengthen its foothold in the niche, Xiaomi has now launched a successor, called the Black Shark Helo. © Xiaomi To start with, it brings loads of optimisations under-the-hood to handle graphics intensive games and other resource draining applications. This includes a dual liquid cooling system for heat dissipation. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC along with a whopping 10GB of RAM. In terms of software, the phone has a dedicated hub called Gamer Studio that allows users to adjust the performance and other key elements of the phone. The Black Shark logo on the rear and the two side streaks boast of RGB LEDs, which are dependent on an AI to show different colours when the player is taking damage or winning. © Xiaomi It also has dual Smart PA chips drive speakers near the display edges, along with a three-mic array for in-game communication. Yes, the phone skips the 3.5mm headphone jack and compensates it with a USB-C port. Back to the basics of every phone today, the front has a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display supports DCI-P3 colour gamut and SRGB mode for better colour accuracy. The fingerprint scanner is now on the back, near the camera setup. © Xiaomi On the rear, it sports a 12-megapixel primary sensor, aided by a 20-megapixel secondary. The front has a 24-megapixel selfie camera. Backing these internals is a 4000mAh battery, that supports Quick Charge 3.0. The phone boots Android 9.0 Pie-based MIUI ROM out of the box. The phone is available in China at the moment, and priced at CNY 3,199 (Rs 34,000) for the 6GB+128GB variant, CNY 3,499 (Rs 37,000) for 8GB+128GB variant and finally CNY 4,199 (Rs 41,600) for the Sports Edition with 10GB+256GB configuration. At the beginning of this month, Xiaomi opened Black Shark's global website, indicating that the brand will soon go international. Though, it still remains unclear when the sub-brand will come to India.

It's all in good fun though, and there are usually no hard feelings at the end of the match. After all, cricket is a gentleman's game. As we all saw, India beat Pakistan in all the Asia Cup matches this year, and some Pakistani fans even went as far as to troll their own cricket team because of their performance. I mean, if you can laugh at yourself, you have basically won at life. But, instead of turning to memes, one particular fan from Pakistan decided to cheer hard for India instead. Every person in Delhi is associated with these lines and it's quite hilarious. But, there's another 'baap'-related line to join the ones above – 'tere baap ki sadak hai kya?' and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is making the most of it. We all know how passionate Akshay Kumar is about social causes and has always tried his best to do his part in bringing about a change, both with his movies and in real-life. The universally loved actor was the obvious and perfect choice to convey the message of road safety to the masses and he did it brilliantly. Better late than never. 18. There have been rumours in the past that future iPhones may come with dual-sim support and it may come as early as this year. The feature is said to come to the larger 'Plus' model while also having dual-SIM support for specific regions. © MensXP This is probably the first time we've seen some form of concrete evidence about the iPhone getting dual-sim support. As usual, please take this with a grain of salt, as we never know what Apple does with the final product that will launch in September later this year. Now that iOS 12 developer Beta 5 is out, 9to5Mac discovered a code that specifically hints towards dual sim support. In the image below, one can clearly notice in the code “simTrayStatus” and “ secondsimTrayStatus” that is clearly marked. This suggests that Apple may be testing a device that has support for two Sim Cards on a single device. What's great is that the code was spotted in the iOS 12 developer beta, so we can at least assume that Apple has thought about implementing the much-wanted feature. © 9to5Mac Dual-Sim services are popular in countries like India and China and other regions such as Nigeria, Brazil, and Egypt. Apple's move to introduce a dual-sim variant would be a strategic and crucial move in order to capture the Asian market in terms of sales and market shares. Dual-Sim smartphones have always been popular in the two biggest markets for smartphone and it seems like Apple may finally launch a device that will be hugely popular in India. © Akshay Bhalla Indian users tend to have more than two SIM cards, thanks to new mobile operators such as Jio, who offer extremely competitive data plans. This will allow users to use two different sim cards with different plans without having to swap out SIM cards. The feature would also be important for travellers, who like to use a local SIM card while visiting. This would be a welcome move, only if Apple actually goes through with it, however, keep in mind that this speculation is not confirmed at the moment. We can only know for sure once Apple announces the new iPhone later this year. Source: 9to5Mac
  19. The 2018 FIFA World Cup Final is just around the corner as mighty Croatia take on European giants, France in Moscow. The Croatians are featuring at this stage of the tournament for the first time in their history, but the French have been here before as they are looking to reclaim the World Title they won back in 1998. But between these teams and the World title lies a 90-min battle and 22-players who will be highly motivated to get their hands on the 7-kg gold trophy. Source: Reuters While the French are the clear favourites here, Croatia is considered the dark horse to lift the title, and with their motivation expected to be sky high, we can't be certain of who shines. One player in particular who would want to break a jinx at World Cup finals is Daniel Subasic. He would be more motivated than anyone else to ensure he does not add to an unwanted record and prove the Monaco Theory a real thing. What is the Monaco Theory? Here are the hard facts that are laid out on the table for all to see. The World Cup Final of 2006, 2010 and 2014 all featured a Monaco goalkeeper who ended up on the losing side. Fabien Barthez for France in 2006, Maarten Stekelenburg for the Netherlands in 2010 and Sergio Romero in 2014 for Argentina all ended up on the losing side at the World Cup Final. To make matters interesting, there is the presence of Daniel Subasic who is playing his club football at Monaco and is in the World Cup Final with Croatia as they take on France. Source: Reuters Will Subasic break the jinx of the Monaco goalkeeper conundrum to lift the title with Croatia? Or will the Monaco goalkeeper theory reach another level and continue the unwanted jinx, this time on Croatia?
