All you need to know are the essentials of pulling off a power look on a holiday. The keywords that'll guide your dressing style on a trip are – casual jackets, shorts and casual shirts. Sounds simple enough doesn't it? You can go for a simple tee with shorts and team it up with a bright casual jacket to complete the look. Try and add in some funky prints too. There's nothing like a holiday to experiment with bright summer colours. Conversations & More At Tea Raymond One thing that most Indians have in common is our love for a good cup of tea. Whether we are pitching a business idea, unwinding with friends or spending a romantic evening with a loved one, it all happens over tea. And to dress for the setting, you need to embrace more of pastel shades and go subtle with your style. Pair your crisp white shirts with light-weight casual pastel jackets and you are ready to go. Single Origin Evenings Raymond Power dressing is all about making the right statement and a boardroom setting is just the place where you want to do it. You need that edge over others and it's easy to achieve with Raymond's collection of checkered and printed three-piece suits complete with pocket squares. These formal looks are also apt for an evening at a gentleman's club or a weddings reception that you might have to attend. For a more evening wedding look, you can try their floral printed Nehru jackets. Raymond Ready to revamp your wardrobe? [sc:shop id=29|block_name=Raymond Power Dressing Guide]
  2. In a world of binge-watching, fast food, swiping right, social media and deadlines, we hardly get time to pause and give undivided attention to something. Be it our lifestyle choices or daily routines, everything needs to be convenient and quick, especially when we are on the go. And this everything also includes our beard-grooming routine that needs to be fuss-free, quick, and under 10 minutes. So here's a tried-and-tested, everyday grooming regime that is designed specially to cater to men with tight schedules. To add the cherry on the top, Team MensXP also incorporated organic and natural grooming products from Qtrove.com which made all the difference in the world. The routine is practical, clever, and quick. Check it out! 1. A Quick Wash Qtrove.com The first rule of maintaining a thick, healthy beard is to ditch the regular soaps for a good beard wash, preferably something which is organic and natural. When you go for your morning shower, use a beard shampoo that will clean the hair from root to tip in a jiffy. We recommend the Almond and Thyme Beard Wash by The Man Company for your daily use. The product is 100% natural, and is infused with premium essential oils that have a relaxing effect on the skin and promote thick, strong, and shiny growth. Buy the product here. 2. Oiling Is A Must Qtrove.com After you are done with the wash, make sure you towel-dry and finger-comb your beard. Try and avoid blow drying. Next, we suggest use a beard oil to restore smoothness and shine to your frizzy beard. This hardly takes a minute! We recommend the Lavender & Cedarwood Beard Oil that moisturises the skin, promotes hair growth and has anti-bacterial benefits that ensure you have a healthy, easy-to-manage beard. The oil has a wonderful blend of lavender and cedarwood extracts - both known for their anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that ensure your beard is healthy always. Buy the product here. Qtrove.com Buy the product here. On some days when you feel like taking a break from the woody fragrance, we recommend the Argan and Geranium Beard Oil, designed specifically to help you grow a lush and manageable beard. Apart from Moroccan Argan and geranium, the product also packs in Frankincense, juniper berry, almond oil, hazelnut oil, and jojoba oil. These ingredients soften the facial hair and enhance the manageability of the beard. 3. Don't Forget To Moisturise Qtrove.com Moisturisation has to be an essential part of your grooming routine. You cannot miss this part, even when you are staying indoors. We recommend the Argan and Mint Beard Creme by The Man Company that moisturises facial hair, reduces itch, and provides nourishment and styling benefits for all types of beards, no matter what the length is. In fact, argan acts a protective cover for your beard against environmental damage, while mint extracts make your beard smell incredible and have a cooling sensation on the skin. The other thing we love about the product is it doesn't add any weight or greasiness to the beard, and trust us, it's a great thing to have especially during summers. Buy the product here. 4. Style It! Qtrove.com Everyone loves to style their beard before they head out. What product you use in the process determines your beard health and growth. We recommend the Argan & Geranium Beard Wax that has toning benefits and encourages beard growth. Besides, argan moisturizes the facial skin and adds a light-weight shine and perfect softness to the beard. Buy the product here. 5. Don't Forget The Sunscreen Qtrove.com A good, healthy beard depends on a good, healthy skin! Make sure every time you step out, you apply sunscreen. If your skin is sunburnt, it affects your beard too. Our go-to product is this Sunscreen Lotion by The Man Company. The product is formulated with sea buckthorn oil and wheat germ oil - both known for their healing properties that shield you from tanning. Buy the product here. You're all set now. And, the good news is all of this took only about 8-10 minutes of your life. Pretty amazing, right? The other good news is since you are using all-natural products in this process, you are not compromising with your beard health. And speaking of conscious choices, Qtrove.com also a vast range of organic and natural products under various categories like food, beverages, home decor, fitness, body and skincare. If you're looking to make a difference in your lifestyle, start with Qtrove.com. Trust us, it has been a huge help so far!
  3. No matter how bizarre a hack is, as long as it works it's absolutely fine. At least that's what I have learned from people around me. And we Indians seem to have acquired the special talent of being a pro at 'jugaad'. Think of the most unimaginable hack possible and chances are that an Indian would have tried and tested that hack to his benefit already. Just like this hack of using cow dung to keep a car cool in the scorching heat. And when I say use it, I mean changing the car's colour to brown. FYI, the car in question is a Toyota Corolla Altis, the road price of which starts from Rs 16 lakh (approx) © Facebook In what can be rightly called the 'coolest' hack ever, a woman in Ahmedabad coated her entire car with cow dung, as the temperature shot up to 45 degrees. Thanks to Facebook user Rupesh Gauranga Das for sharing the pictures with us, and enlightening us with this ingenious hack. According to his post, the car owner is from Ahmedabad, but the car's number plate states that the car is from Maharashtra. South Bombay to be specific. Das wrote in his post, "Best use of cow dung I have ever seen. It's in Amdavad. To counter 45 degrees heat temperatures and protect car from getting hot, Mrs Sejal shah has plastered her car with cow dung. Getting cool." For those wondering how effective the trick is, cow dung is actually a kind of insulator that blocks the heat of the outer surface from getting into the inner surface. That's the reason a lot of people in rural areas coat the outer walls of their houses with cow dung, to keep their house cool. And here we thought parking our car under the shade of a tree will do the job.
  4. I am going to keep aside the fact right now that some lucky bastards have already seen the movie of the month, year, decade already while we have to wait two more freaking days because the first spoiler free reviews of 'Avengers: Endgame' are here and they're honestly better than we expected. Actually, no we all had a lot of expectations already and apparently Marvel is going to exceed even that. Basically, the world premier was yesterday and yes, people have watched it, but let's look on the bright side while waiting for the release - the movie is exceptional and people have already claimed it's the best Marvel movie till date. Yes, we already knew all of these things because we believed in the movie so much, but isn't it great to know that we're in for a treat this April 26th? Moreover, everyone who's watched it has two main things to say - one, it's the perfect culmination of eleven years and 22 movies, and two, everyone cried at least 5-6 times, including Chris Evans. Wow, we really are not ready but so ready at the same time for this movie all at once. No, bathroom breaks, hold it in. You guys. This is it! Avengers: Endgame is entertainment from beginning to end. There were tears, laughter, cheering. A lot of cheering. I'm ready to watch it again. The payoff is ð¯so plan your bathroom breaks accordingly. #avengersendgame — Wendy Lee Szany (@WendyLeeSzany) April 23, 2019 Oh no, how will we handle this? All I'm going to say about @Avengers #EndGame is that I am an emotional wreck and can't stop crying — Maude Garrett (@maudegarrett) April 23, 2019 It's already my favourite and I haven't even watched it. This can't be understated: #AvengersEndgame is everything you want it to be and more. I am absolutely floored. A perfect reflection on the last 11 years that pays off everything in the best way possible. Without question my new favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Stunned. pic.twitter.com/5LvFw9UEBQ — Eric Eisenberg (@eeisenberg) April 23, 2019 More excitement. #AvengerEndgame is an immensely satisfying payoff, not just to Infinity War but to all the films that came before. This is why the MCU. (And I say this as someone who was not especially enamored of Infinity War, FWIW.) ♥ï¸ðð — Angie J. Han (@ajhan) April 23, 2019 Perfect. It's incredible. I'm speechless. #endgame — Ryan Parker (@TheRyanParker) April 23, 2019 Don't know what it is, but can't wait. #AvengersEndgame is A LOT. Too much at times. But wow the payoff is huge. Left me proud to have invested over a decade in a franchise that delivers an inspiring exploration of what it means to be family & a hero. (Endgame also now has one of my favorite shots in the entire MCU.) — Perri Nemiroff (@PNemiroff) April 23, 2019 Yes. #AvengersEndgame just ended. No spoiler, but some first thoughts. Epic is the word. Epic multiplied by a decade of emotion, excitement and investment. This is the payoff. It left me with a full heart, but one I had has some scars on it. Those are the strongest kind, after all. pic.twitter.com/Ay2rXISBOB — Anthony Breznican (@Breznican) April 23, 2019 Let's hope so. Wow. #AvengersEndgame is staggering. It's surprising in ways I never saw coming and satisfying in ways I didn't realize I needed. It's kind of the ultimate gift to fans of the MCU. It's very long and has a few hiccups, but is everything you're hoping for and more. pic.twitter.com/RO97kw9fs5 — Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) April 23, 2019 Going in with too many expectations now. Imagine the best possible version of #AvengersEndgame and somehow the film still surpasses all expectations. I cried 5-6 times. It's the most emotional, most epic, MCU film. A tribute to ten years of this universe and holy shit the great fan service in this movie. Soooo good. — Peter Sciretta (@slashfilm) April 23, 2019 That's interesting. #AvengersEndgame is a masterful epic - a true culmination of 22 films that not only concludes the story, but expands upon it. You'll learn more about the other movies while this one unfolds. If Infinity War is the brawn, Endgame is the brains. And wow, what an ending! pic.twitter.com/94ttBUQKJ0 — Erik Davis (@ErikDavis) April 23, 2019 I can't wait two more days. Do not go in expecting Infinity War part two. The two films are so different, yet compliment each other in all the best ways. In terms of which MCU movie to watch beforehand... honestly, all of them. What an experience - what an accomplishment#AvengersEndgame — Erik Davis (@ErikDavis) April 23, 2019 We're ready. Not going to spoil anything at all, but I will say I laughed, I cried, I cried, I cheered, I laughed, I cried again and then the entire audience gave it a massive standing ovation. And then I cried again. Be ready, kids. Be. Ready.#AvengersEndgame — Erik Davis (@ErikDavis) April 23, 2019 Everyone's emotional. While watching #AvengersEndgame, I laughed so loud, I clapped with so much force, and I cried so hard. The movie exceeds every expectation and is the perfect culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. — Brandon Davis (@BrandonDavisBD) April 23, 2019 It already is. 3 hours later and I'm shook! My God, @Avengers Endgame is beyond epic! It's everything you hope it will be and more - an absolute @MarvelStudios marvel! And I'm pretty sure it will make all the money ever printed! Loved it and would watch again instantly! pic.twitter.com/7D3qLfrxV1 — KevinSmith (@ThatKevinSmith) April 23, 2019 Wow. Man #AvengersEndgame kicked my ass. It was an epic conclusion to 11 years of films. It had laughs, incredible action and absolute emotional rollercoaster. It was the series finale for these cast of characters that I had been hoping for. Congrats to all for pulling off the feat. — Kristian Harloff (@KristianHarloff) April 23, 2019 They are, I'm guessing. Incredible ingenuity and commitment. Marvel and Disney can and should be proud of this moment. #AvengersEndgame — Matt Donnelly (@MattDonnelly) April 23, 2019 Don't we all? I was not prepared for the range of emotions that #Endgame put me through, from utter despair to pure elation. I laughed, I cried, I wished Tony Stark was my dad. — Dave Itzkoff (@ditzkoff) April 23, 2019 Nice Thanos reference. The scope of Avengers: Endgame is impossible to put into words. What Fiege & MCU achieved over last 10-years has lead to this gloriously masterful moment in cinema & it's truly mind-blowing how beautifully paced this storytelling is. Perfectly balanced. As all things should be. — Kevin McCarthy (@KevinMcCarthyTV) April 23, 2019
  5. Two Khans of our Bollywood, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, never miss a chance to appreciate each other on social media platforms. The whole country is praising the trailer of Salman Khan's 'Bharat'. Just like Bhai fans are going gaga over the trailer, SRK too seemed to have loved the trailer. He took to Twitter to give a shout-out to the film and wrote, "Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob." As soon as SRK tweeted, their fans got one more reason to celebrate their friendship. Here's the tweet: Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob. https://t.co/0t8hQoUSbJ — Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) April 22, 2019 The trailer shows Salman Khan in five avatars and it has left all the movie buffs waiting for more. The trailer tells the story of a middle-class old man Bharat, who takes us back to 1947 when India attained its independence. Salman and Katrina Kaif are a deadly combination and fans are happy to see this 'jodi' back on the silver screen. Apart from Salman and Katrina, the film also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. Bharat is an official remake of the Korean film, 'An Ode To My Father'. It will be interesting to see how Ali Abbas Zafar has given it an Indian twist. © Salman Khan Films In an earlier interview, Ali had said that it's important to show Salman in a different light as the Indian cinema is now changing and doing something different with every film, and that will help them make a mark. Are you looking forward to watching the film? Let us know in the comments below. Meanwhile, check out the trailer here:
  6. After waiting for close to two years, the finale of the most-watched show on the face of the Earth, 'Game Of Thrones', is finally dawning upon us in less than 48 hours. Who gets the throne? What happens to the Night King? Does Arya finally find any happiness? Will Khaleesi's dragons survive the battle? These are just a few of the numerous questions we need answers to. It's quite possible that all your GOT nerd friends started way in advance and have probably caught up and brushed up their GOT knowledge, while others are now trying to connect the dots and read online summaries. However, fret not because we have the recaps for all the seasons ready for you right here, so just spare some time and go through them: 1. Season 1- This was all about the Stark family, the patriarch's murder, little Sansa growing up and Khaleesi marrying Khal Drogo amongst other things. 2. Season 2- Tyrion becomes the hand of the King, Theon reunites with Yara, Khaleesi ventures into the house of the undying and we spot the army of White Walkers. 3. Season 3- Joffery falls for the beautiful Margaery, Tywin Lannister tries his hand at match-fixing Tyrion and Cersei for his own good, and we finally see the dark side of Mellisandre, and the horror of the Red Wedding dawns upon us. 4. Season 4- This rollercoaster season is mostly about Ramsay torturing Theon like there's no tomorrow, Tyrion is betrayed by Shae, and Joffrey dies at his own wedding. 5. Season 5- King Tommen marries Margery, Baelish starts travelling with Sansa towards Winterfell, the High Sparrow wreaks havoc, and poor Shireen is burned alive followed by the shocker of Jon Snow getting stabbed to death as well 6. Season 6- Jon is back, King Tommen takes his own life, Bran Stark is being enlightened by his own new found wisdom, we lose the poor Hodor as well. 7. Season 7- Khaleesi loses her dragon to the Night King, The Wall has been smashed, Jon Snow and Khaleesi have apparently fallen in love and Cersei is pregnant with Jaime, who is now leaving her side. The season ended on a gritting note and obviously, the battle for the throne begins now! So, there you go. You're all brushed up and prepared for the ultimate showdown. Let the finale begin!
  7. Machine exercises are a smart inclusion in your training plan. The few places I feel they are useful are post-injuries, for the total beginners, or towards the end of your workout when you are fatigued. The one major benefit of having more machine-based exercises in your routine is that it saves time. How is that? Usually, when you are doing machine-based exercises, the setup part of it is easier and takes lower effort than setting up exercises on an exclusive/majority free-weight routine. This is very beneficial if you are short on time or do not like waiting your turn a long time to do a particular exercise at the gym. © Getty Images So, what split can you follow if you decide to train exclusively via machines? An upper-lower machine split done twice a week would be great for your gains. Here's a sample plan that you can follow to do this split: Day 1 & Day 4: Lower Body 1. Hack Squat or Leg Press - 4 sets of 6 to 8 reps 2. Leg curls - 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps 3. Leg extensions - 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps 4. Standing machine or standing smith calf raises - 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps 5. Cable crunches - 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps 6. Lying leg raises - 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps 7. Planks - 3 sets of maximum hold (each side) Day 2 & Day 5 Upper Body 1. Seated rows - 3 sets of 6 to 8 reps 2. Decline machine press - 3 sets of 6 to 8 reps 3. Lat pulldowns - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps 4. Incline machine press or machine overhead press - 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps 5. Tricep pushdowns - 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps 6. Cable bicep curls - 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps 7. Face pulls - 4 sets of 15 to 20 reps All these sets are to be done with 45 to 60 seconds rest between sets and 1-minute rest between exercises. If you are someone who would like to hit the gym more than 4 days a week, you can add one or two cardio sessions to your routine as well along with some abs and arms work as 'biceps are more important. © Getty Images So, go enjoy this machine split and be on your way to Gainsville. 8. People say there's something good in everything. I guess the writers of the show 'Californication' had this in mind when they wrote its script. We have a male protagonist who drinks like there's no tomorrow, smokes like a chimney, occasionally does drugs, sleeps with random women, pisses people off, and can never get his shit together. via GIPHY But, no matter how much you try, you just can't hate his guts. In fact, you would find his antics charming. He's a fucked up guy who lands himself in fucked up situations but somehow manages to come out of it using his charm. We're talking about Hank Moody, the writer who can't write. His cheeky smile, dry sense of humour, and the will to enjoy life just won't let you hate him. via GIPHY Let's see what we can learn from his fucked up yet adventurous life that can benefit us in the real world: 1. Never Say Never Karen, the love of his life, was no longer with him. But he didn't give up and always tried to make himself a better person so that he could deserve her. via GIPHY That's what dreams are for. Don't stop chasing them and always make yourself better each and every day to achieve them. It could be applicable to anything; career, love, passion, or hobby. Don't give up just because there are hurdles on the road. Get yourself up, dust off, and keep going until you achieve them. 2. Never Stop Living For Yourself The man did whatever he wanted to do, whatever he thought would give him just a glimpse of happiness. He slept with random women, drank his guts out, and never gave a **** about what people thought of him. He was simply looking for happiness in his own ways. He didn't participate in any rat race and didn't live life by society's rules. via GIPHY Whatever you do in life, keep your happiness a priority. You don't owe anything to anyone, so work towards being happy. Live for yourself and you might just enjoy life. 3. Don't Let The Child Within You Die Behind Hank's occasional portrayal of a matured persona, there was a child who came out every now and then. And that was the child which made him fun. via GIPHY Never become too serious in life. Plan your tomorrow like a matured man but live your today like a child in Disney land. It's your innocence and the eagerness to have fun that should never die. 4. Be Calm On most situations, you wouldn't see Hank agitated or anxious, no matter how bad it was. He was (almost) always calm, composed, and believed in thinking of a solution instead of worrying about the situation. That's what you need to be if you want to have a smooth life. Worrying doesn't solve anything and being anxious doesn't make the situation any easier. Be calm, MADAFAKAAAA. 5. Love Like Your Life Depends On It No matter how much of a p***y eater Hank was, he never cheated on Karen. He never stopped loving her. He never thought of loving someone else. If you're going to love someone, give it all. via GIPHY Feel the pain, the pleasure, and the journey of this shitty thing called love. It's always worth it, irrespective of how it ends. Never be afraid to love, find someone who makes you happy, and love her like she's the happy ending of your life! Hank is the guy who would live for himself but would die for his loved ones if needed. Be that guy!
  9. A new 'Avengers: Endgame' video is here and this is literally my mind right now. So, apparently, Marvel and the Russo Brothers were not done yet with toying with our emotions and decided to give all Marvel fans a special look full of reunions and emotions. Tony makes it back from space and is reunited with Pepper. The biggest question was about Tony Stark actually making it back alive and a lot of people were still not convinced, even after the last trailer, so this video is here to tell us that yes, he's safe, for now at least. The special video also gave us something we've wanted since 'Captain America: Civil War' - the much awaited Tony Stark and Captain America reunion! And, it's a great one at that. There's also a cute yet heartbreaking moment between Nebula and Rocket Raccoon. They've lost everyone they knew, it doesn't get sadder than that. We can also see Tony looking at a picture of himself and Peter Parker and the memory of his painful dusting is coming back. **** you, Thanos. Wait, is that Doctor Strange? Did they just give us concrete proof of everyone dusted coming back? Okay, there's still so much more happening, with all the characters gearing up for round two with Thanos, but here's the video.
  10. Aparshakti Khurana's style game has been on fire this year. From casually wearing the most unusual accessories to setting ramps on fire, this man is unstoppable right now and he clearly has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon. He recently attended the Filmfare awards in an outfit that screams 'Desi chhora with a Hypebeast twist'. Take a look. © Viral Bhayani It's lit, right? We're obsessed with the super classy, quintessential striped kurta with a rustic organic vibe. But, what got us on our feet is what he decided to wear for lowers. He went for a statement white dhoti, draped to perfection, and paired it with a pair of - wait for it - Balenciaga sneakers. © Viral Bhayani © Instagram/Aparshakti_Khurana Like, what? Who even thinks of a pairing like this one? This one especially is tricky because A, it's extremely difficult to pull off an extreme mix-n-match like this one, and B, no one has done it before! Our Bollywood biggies love their Balenciagas, yes, but to pair them with a desi dhoti? Only someone who is extremely secure and sure about their style game will even attempt it. Aparshakti clearly has not only 'attempted' it, but sent it right outside the boundary. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani We like how even his accessories are a mix of 'desi' and 'phoren'. The white pocket square screams royalty, while the futuristic eyewear gives the whole outfit its inimitable edge. © Viral Bhayani Applause, Apar! More 'shakti' to your fashion game!

And I still am. What am I talking about? Street Food, of course! © Pexels How different would our lives be if we did not have food? What would you have fantasized about in office? Or debated about? It literally means burnt cheese, which is exactly what it is: a sweet cheese with a charred covering outside and a soft, delicate inside. Said to be one of Bhagawan Jagannath's favourite sweets, this sweetmeat is prepared by baking kneaded cottage cheese or cheese curd (made from curdled milk) and sugar with dry fruits and cardamom powder until the sugar caramelizes completely, giving a roasted, golden-brown covering to the final product. The one sweet that Odisha is famous for - Chhena Poda, also known to be Lord Jagannath's favourite sweet and is often offered to him at the Puri Temple. Chhena Poda is made of cheese, sugar, cashew, cardamoms and raisins. All the items are mixed well and then wrapped in the leaves of the Sal tree and baked in a charcoal oven for several hours until it becomes red and the caramelised sugar brings out the distinct flavour of Chhena Poda. It is believed that the origin of Chhena Poda is in Nayagarh district of Odisha during the first half of 20th century. 12. Men applying makeup and even teaching others via YouTube tutorials is super common nowadays. 2019 is all about breaking gender barriers and embracing our bodies for what they are. Makeup is unisex now and male beauty is all the rage. We're not asking you to go do a full-blown makeup look, but covering up imperfections which are kind of necessary. But unlike other makeup products, concealer is applied only where you need it, masking flaws with a thin layer of color. Concealer can be your saving grace to cover up a nasty razor burn, ( ) acne or even a hickey from some unsolicited action. Here are 4 reasons why a concealer is the ultimate solution to achieve flawless skin: 1. Hide Dark Circles © Getty Images A layer of dark hue beneath your eyes is a telltale sign of numerous late nights resulting in sleep deprivation. Although there are other solutions for it, if you need a quick cover-up we've got your back. Dab a small spot of color correction and follow up with a drop of concealer that's one shade lighter to your skin tone. Gently dab the product into the corners of your eyes near the nose, as well as under the eyes using your finger. 2. Cover Up Hickeys © Getty Images It's all fun and games until you have a red fire-alarm or purple bruise-like hickey on your skin. Just wearing a turtleneck for 5 days in hope of saving face might do the trick temporarily, but if it's summertime, you will need a new trick to save face. Enter the concealer. Find a concealer that matches your neck (use a color corrector if the bruise is too dark) and blend it in. Keep the product handy, because of course, it'll happen again. 3. Conceal Razor Burns & Blemishes © Getty Images Razor burns are nasty, itchy and look bad. Contrary to dark circles, razor burns need to be covered up with the concealer shade that matches your skin tone perfectly. Blend the concealer evenly across the burn to make sure it is concealed well. The same process applies to covering up blemishes as well. It's better to use products that contain Vitamin E to reduce inflammation. 4. Mask Pimples Out Of Sight © Getty Images Imagine getting an annoying little popper on your face just hours before a date or an event. That is one way to spoil your first impression. The solution? Slap on a dab of concealer, and you're good to go. Yes, it's that easy. Just go a little light with the product and the coverage is always buildable. Bye, acne. Male beauty is trending and now you know why a concealer in hand is the stairway to glowing and flawless looking skin.

Well, not exactly a Bullet Train but a desi version of it. Well, that is Train 18 aka Vande Bharat Express. With its Bullet Train-inspired design and super cool features, the driverless train will be flagged off by PM Modi on February 15 and will cover the route between New Delhi and Agra replacing the veteran Shatabdi Express. As per the results from the trial runs as of now, Train 18 can clock up a speed of over 180 kmph making it the fastest ever train of the Indian Railways. Being a desi product (Yes! Make In India, guys) and built at a cost of Rs 100 crore, this train is making Rs 88,000 crore India loaned from Japan seems like a total rip-off. According to a report by The Hindu, here are some of the cool features that the Vande Bharat Express comes packed with that really give it a futuristic feel. 1. Aerodynamically designed driver cabins at both ends for quicker turn-around at destinations 2. Alternate coaches are motorised to ensure even distribution of power and faster acceleration or deceleration 3. Regenerative braking system to save power © BCCL 4. Inter-connected, fully sealed gangways 5. Automatic doors with retractable footsteps 6. Onboard Wi-Fi and infotainment © Twitter 7. GPS-based passenger information system 8. Modular toilets with bio-vacuum systems 9. Rotational seats which can be aligned in the direction of travel (executive class) © Twitter 10. Roller blinds and diffused LED lighting 11. Disabled-friendly toilets 12. Emergency talk-back units to contact train crew 13. CCTVs in all coaches for safe and secure travel in numbers The report also mentioned that the approximate cost to build the train is around Rs 100 crore, and if the train runs at 200 kmph as per the report, then it sounds like a fairly decent deal. The makers of the train - Integral Coach Factory, Chennai is believed to have around five Train 18s in the pipeline and the time taken to conceive, design and develop the train is said to be around 18 months. All in all, Vande Bharat Express being a driverless train packed with other mind-blowing features is going to be an exceptional experience and we can't wait to get aboard.
  14. As if dealing with acne wasn't cumbersome in itself, 'bacne' a.k.a back acne is worse. via GIPHY Here's the thing, if you've dealt with acne as a kid, you're more likely to face body acne as an adult. There are obviously exceptions. The thing with body acne is that it's less accessible, more resilient and hard to tackle with. via GIPHY But that doesn't mean you let the acne stay. There are ways around it to nix the troublesome acne forever: 1. Wash Them With An Acne Cleanser © Shutterstock You ideally need to find a cleanser with a good formula that uses a combination of salicylic acid and glycolic to cleanse out the oil clogged pores. 2. Use A Scrub © Shutterstock A good scrub sloughs away the dead skin cells. Use a scrub to gently rub across your back to get rid of the acne. The scrub also helps rid the skin of residue. 3. You Could Also Add A Spot Treatment via GIPHY A cream essentially made to reduce pimples can similarly work extremely well. Just like you use a spot treatment cream to target the pimples on your face, you can also use it on the rest of your body for a similar result. 4. Take Good Care After Working Out via GIPHY Working out is great for your health but not for your skin, unfortunately. If you have a bad case of acne, it's best to take a bath right after you work out so that the sweat doesn't screw with your skin.
  15. Since school days, we've been taught how to properly tuck in our uniform shirt. But how many of us are actually doing it right? As simple as this sounds, it can make a world of a difference in your look. A man can go from drab to fab just by following a few simple guidelines that come with tucking your shirt in. The goal here is to educate you about whether to tuck in or not for all kinds of shirts that exist in your wardrobe. 1. Always Notice The Hemline © ishabhansali Shirts that have flat, even hemlines are meant to be worn untucked. But if the shirt has visibly different length variations at the hem, rather than being even all the way around — it should always be tucked in. If your shirt constantly keeps slipping out when tucked in, it was probably not supposed to be tucked in. The ideal length for an untucked shirt should be when it hits the middle of your back pocket or the zipper of your pants. 2. What Kind Of Shirt Are You Wearing? © vickykaushal09 There's more leeway when you're wearing a t-shirt, a turtleneck shirt or any other kind of shirt in terms of tucking. Polos, Hawaiians and undershirts should be worn untucked. Golfers, however, make an exception with tucking in their polo shirts for a more dressier look. T-shirts shouldn't be tucked in unless it's a particular style statement you're going for. Turtlenecks can be tucked in if worn under a blazer or a suit, but on their own just leave them untucked. 3. Consider The Occasion © twitter @r_khanna Is it a wedding? An interview? A business meeting? Dinner with your spouse's parents? Well, you should definitely tuck in your shirt for these. Adding a bonus rule here, if you're wearing a tie for the said occasion, tucking your shirt should be your first instinct. On the contrary, bachelor parties, barbecues, drinking at the local pub and sports events don't really count for occasions you need to tuck your shirt in for. 4. Observe The Layers Of The Outfit © ishabhansali If you're planning to wear a suit or a blazer over your shirt, there are a few observations you need to make. If the shirt you're wearing has a collar, tuck it in. A sweater shouldn't be tucked in unless it is of a really thin material. The fabric of the shirt matters too. Shirts in casual fabrics like denim and linen are better worn untucked, while wool and poplin shirts are more appropriate tucked in. Well, now you know how to navigate your way through the tricky world of shirt-tucking.

From organizing everything from scratch to filling in the guest lists, planning the honeymoon and even finding time to be with the person you love. Amidst all this chaos, you might forget to take care of yourself. via GIPHY While your soon-to-be wife, in all likely-hood, is busy taking appointments to take care of her skin and her hair, you shouldn't stay behind. Why, you ask? Because when the event planning stops and the actual Wedding ceremonies begin, you'll be at the centre of everything. Thousands of pictures will be taken of you. Some, more zoomed in than others. These pictures will then be circulated for your entire life and you don't want to look back and spot blackheads, pimples, on your face. via GIPHY You want your face to reflect you inner state of affairs which should ideally be glowing with happiness. via GIPHY However, apart from an au naturel glow, you'll need to lather your skin with creams on a regular basis to get a Wedding-friendly face. Here's a quick hassle free grooming routine for grooms so that you're proud of your Wedding face in years to come: 1. A Good Cleanser via GIPHY You need to start your day with a good cleanser. Also use it twice a day. Once before sleeping. A cleanser is great for cleaning out dirt from your pores and keeping the bacteria away which means a pimple-free skin near the Wedding. You can go for a face wash that suits your skin type. 2. A Serum via GIPHY Normally, you might skip this step if you don't believe in worldly excesses. But, trust us, when you're waiting in line to get married in front of people, this is not a huge step. You take two-three drops of serum for your face and spread it all over. This will rejuvenate your skin cells and help them reach the max glowing potential that they can. 3. Face Mask via GIPHY Weekly, you need two masks for your face. Spread it over the weekend: one for Saturday and the latter for Sunday. Get a soothing sandalwood or charcoal-based mask or something else depending on your skin's needs. Use that on a Saturday. Keep it for ten minutes and then wash your face. On a Sunday, Use face sheet mask to relax your face. 4. Face Scrub via GIPHY Use it once a week after cleansing your face to weed out clingy dirt from your deep pores. Use an apricot or charcoal based scrub for best results. 5. Moisturizer via GIPHY After cleansing and using a serum, always remember to lock in the moisture with by lathering up cream on your face. You don't want your skin to be dry and scratchy during the Wedding.

Watch the entire teaser here, to find out what follows next: April 14. #ForTheThrone pic.twitter.com/Mzy22yxM6Z — Game Of Thrones (@GameOfThrones) January 14, 2019 As per a Polygon report, it is being speculated that the first episode of the final season of GOT might open with a full-blown Stark reunion, where we will witness a joint meetup between Sansa Stark, who currently holds the reins of Winterfell, and Jon and Daenerys who are on their way back from the disastrous trip to the wall. © HBO Things are expected to get tense when Sansa is asked to swear allegiance to Dany in the upcoming season, but until we can see all of that for ourselves, we will have to wait for the premiere episode to air in April. All we can say right now is, #CantWaitWontWait

  23. Mobile gaming has taken a serious turn ever since Indians started playing the mobile version of PUBG as a religion. The game can work on various smartphones that have a good GPU, enough RAM and a good processor. Having said that, smartphones generally tend to heat up real quick which has made companies introducing new cooling solutions. © ASUS Even though mobile gaming can't match up to the same quality delivered on consoles and PCs, however, ASUS may have just built a smartphone that might bridge the gap. Smartphones don't have dedicated powerful GPUs to deliver high-quality graphics, but smartphones can be innovative enough to deliver a good gaming experience. The ASUS ROG phone retails in India for Rs 69,990 (8GB+128GB) which is a bit expensive for a gaming smartphone, so let's find out if it's worth the price tag. Design & Display © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla If you've ever seen an ASUS ROG laptop, you can instantly recognise it for its design. The same can be said for the ASUS ROG phone where it has sharp cuts, a sweet multicolour light-up logo on the back, massive vents to prevent overheating and a look that resembles some sort of an alien warship. It's cool to see ASUS incorporate a similar design like its gaming laptops, but the key notable difference is its metal body. Gaming laptops generally have plastic bodies as it does not conduct heat as quickly. As the smartphone has a metal unibody design, it comes with an additional accessory out of the box that aides in cooling down the phone. The accessory is called the AeroActive Cooler and it has a fan and an audio jack that is powered by the extra USB-C port on the side of the phone. What's ingenious about this design is the fact that no wires come in the way and interrupt your gaming experience. To make it easier for users to game, the smartphone has squeezable and tappable sides for customisable phone functions. You can map these functions for specific game functions and the mappable Air Triggers are great for first-person shooters. Overall, the ASUS ROG phone has all the answers for woes most smartphone gamers face. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla This is where things get interesting as the ROG phone has a 6-inch OLED display that has has a resolution of FHD+ (2160 x 1080 px). It even has support for HDR content and a 90Hz refresh rate. That's the best display you can get on any gadget (including monitors) and the refresh rate is the added bonus for gamers. The refresh rate reduces the response time drastically which is crucial in games like PUBG. You can even customise the display according to your own liking. The colour reproduction is decent and you can even switch to modes such as Standard and Splendid. You even have the ability to tweak the saturation and hues according to your own liking. Performance The ASUS ROG smartphone has specs under the hood you would expect from a flagship smartphone. It as Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at 2.96 GHz (the fastest speed-binned 845 SoC) and is coupled with 8GB of RAM. In terms of internal storage, the smartphone comes in one configuration for India i.e. 128GB.To back up these components, the ASUS ROG phone has a 4,000 mAh battery which is enough for mobile gaming and daily usage. The phone performed well during the course of our review as it could easily handle day-to-day tasks and we didn't come across any glitches of OS flaws. There have been reports of the ASUS ROG phone's OS acting up, but we thank the gods that our review unit was flawless. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Since this is a gaming phone, we had to check out its capabilities while playing PUBG Mobile. Even without enabling the dedicated gaming mode, the game performed without any frame rate drops or app crashes. Having said that, if you want the optimum experience with a little boost, we would recommend you switch on the X mode. The 90Hz refresh rate on the display did give us a slight advantage over our enemies as the game felt much smoother as compared to playing it on other flagship smartphones. When playing games on smartphones, battery life is one of the most important features to consider. During our gaming session, PUBG Mobile did not consume a lot of battery thanks to the massive 4,000 mAh battery. We even used the secondary USB-C port to use the Aeroactive cooler accessory that would cool the device when it would heat up while playing games. The cooling fan, in turn, improves battery life as it keeps the battery cool and as a result gives you more juice for gaming. Accessories © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Apart from the Air Triggers and Aeroactive cooler, ASUS has also launched a few accessories that can enhance your gaming experience. We didn't really get to test these features at length so we can only tell what they can do. These include TwinView Dock for dual-screen handheld mode (works like Nintendo 3DS), a Mobile Desktop Dock for desktop-style gaming and a Gamevice controller. The Final Say Even though gaming smartphones are becoming a rage in India, buyers are still a bit price sensitive when it comes to buying gadgets. The ASUS ROG phone has all the bells and whistles you can expect from a flagship phone along with the added feature of phenomena gaming. Having said that, if you look at the smartphone from a buyer's perspective, it's not really a feasible smartphone if you're on a budget. Costing Rs 69,990, your an always buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro for the same price and get cheaper accessories for a good gaming experience. I absolutely love this smartphone to the core as it appeals to the gamer in me, however, it's something only an enthusiast would buy.
  24. Dude1: "Bro, you should try this chest exercise...the pump is amazing." Dude2: "Bro, try this weird exercise for inner chest development." © YouTube What's the common thing that you notice among all these pieces of advice thrown at you in your gym? They are generalized, given without any scientific reasoning, lacking progression protocols and usually transferred from one gym bro to another. In this article, we will go through the basics of chest anatomy, its function & how we can train and build the ultimate chiseled chest in 2019 Let's get started! Chest Anatomy & Its Function The pecs, or commonly called the chest, consist of two heads i.e. sternal head and clavicular head. Both of these heads are attached in the upper arm at the sternum and clavicle respectively. The main function of the chest is to bring the upper arm towards the midline of the body ie transverse shoulder adduction. The clavicular head of the chest also assists in shoulder flexion. An example would be the chest flye for sternal head and the incline bench press for the clavicular head. The exercises which we would program would mainly target 2 muscles: pec major and pec minor, covering both the sternal and clavicular heads Workout For The Ultimate Chest © Unsplash â Key points which we have learned over the years in training any muscle group is that: it is more effective to train a muscle group more than 1x per week in order to optimize muscle protein synthesis or so-called MPS. â Experts have also suggested that somewhere between 15-25 sets per week are optimal to develop the chest. The lower range would tend better for beginner lifters and higher end for more advanced athletes. â It can be noted that the angle of the bench affects the chest activation, whereas the incline bench helps target the clavicular head more i.e pec minor and so does the grip width i.e. the closer you hold the bar it would work more of your upper chest due to more shoulder flexion. Now, considering all the above information, we will train the chest 2 times a week. This workout can be included in your current training split or can be adjusted in a full body, upper/lower or push-pull-legs split during the week. The training cycle will be of 4 weeks, we will use linear progression (increasing weight, reps or sets every week) and use RPE (1-10) for defining the intensity of our program which is going to help you maximize your chest gains in 2019. Day 1 * AMRAP: As many reps as possible Day 2 Progression Scheme: â Lift weights with which you can perform the lower end of the prescribed rep scheme. â Increase the number of sets or increase the number of reps every week using the same weight till you hit the top range. Once you hit the top range, Increase weight, and repeat the same cycle. â For intermediate to advanced lifters, using some form of periodization which goes along with your training for other body parts would be more beneficial. â Compound exercises such as bench press, incline bench press, and close-grip should be focussed on getting quality reps along with avoiding failure on every set. â Going towards failure in sets would be better suited towards isolation exercises such as the flye and pushups in the end. â Bands, chains or other accommodating resistance can be used for progression especially in exercises such as pushups and dips. 25. The Prestigious Indian Army has a simple motto for training its cadets: 'we first break you, then make you'. Boys go through gruelling weeks of physical hardship and come out as men fit enough to serve the nation at times of war. Once soldiers are inducted, the Army ensures they are prepared (mentally & physically) to perform at their absolute best, even in extreme circumstances. However, the Army demands certain prerequisites before you can join. The First Physical Test You Need To Clear Is The 1600 M Run. Note: This test is conducted for non-commission entries for the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and equivalent ranks in Police & Paramilitary forces. © Quora You will get 5 minutes and 45 seconds to cover 1600 M, one second more and you fail. Boys completing the run in 5 minutes 30-45 seconds are taken in Group 2 and allotted 48 marks. For those who complete it in 5 minutes and 30 seconds or less, are taken in Group 1 and allotted 60 marks. The Biggest Mistake Aspirants preparing for this test run for hours trying to increase their stamina. This is an absolute waste of time. There is a simple principle called 'specificity' in exercise science- if you want to get good at 'something' like long jump, do that 'thing' instead of ballet dancing. Passing a 1600 meter run in minimum time is not merely about stamina, it also requires speed and strength. Thus, you need to train accordingly and enhance all those three capabilities. The following training plan will help you to cover 1600M in minimum time and secure you in Group 1 with 60 marks: Workout 1: Run 1600 M In Minimum Time Measure 400M distance and cover its 4 rounds with minimum time. If on the first day it takes you 7 minutes to cover this distance, aim for 6 minutes and 45 seconds the next day and gradually, come down to 5 minutes and 30 seconds and under. Workout 2: 100 M Sprints Maximum Laps Measure 100M distance and sprint as fast as possible. Then walk back slowly, settling your breath and sprint again. Repeat this continuously for 10 minutes. Your goal should be to cover maximum laps in 10 minutes. If on the first day you could do 5 laps in 10 minutes, aim for 6 the next time. Try beating your previous best with each training session. © Quora Workout 3: Full Body High-Intensity Training This workout is for strengthening your muscles to run 1600 M as fast as possible. Start with 10 Burpees, followed by 10 Jump Squats, followed by 10 Box Jumps and at last, 10 Body Weight Lunges (each leg). Rest 5 minutes after this and repeat this cycles four more times. Needless to say, you are not supposed to perform all these workouts in one day itself, as it will simply burn you out. Here is how you have to arrange your training. Day 1 Run 1600 M in minimum time Day 2 Run 100 M sprints maximum laps Day 3 Rest Day 4 Run 1600 M in minimum time Day 5 Full body high-intensity training Day 6 Rest Day 7 Repeat Cycle Important: Rest is a crucial part of this training for boosting recovery. Perform all workouts only once per day for the initial four weeks. From the fifth week onwards, perform all workouts twice per day (morning & evening). Best of luck!
