The Kanpur district administration has decided to launch a probe against Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav a few days after he shared a picture of himself getting vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus in what is being speculated to be a guest house lawn. The cricketer got the jab on Saturday and shared the news about the same with a tweet. He also added a special message with the picture, motivating and promoting others to get the vaccination as soon as possible. जब भी मौका मिले तुरंत टीका लगवाएं। सुरक्षित रहें क्योंकि covid19 के खिलाफ लड़ाई में एकजुट होने की आवश्यकता है 🏻 pic.twitter.com/6YSHyoGmWM — Kuldeep yadav (@imkuldeep18) May 15, 2021 “Get vaccinated immediately whenever you get a chance. Be safe because you need to be united in the fight against COVID-19,” the 26-year old tweeted. It did not take long for people on the micro-blogging website to notice that instead of standing in line for hours before getting his shot, Yadav got to sit comfortably in a garden chair and get vaccinated in a green and lush environment, completely away from any chances of contracting the virus from anyone else. Calling out celebrity bias and the provision made for special treatment towards the cricketers, fans bashed the Kanpur-born online: तुम लोग के घर पे आकार टीकाकरण हो जाए गा ।।। हमारा तो क्या है 4 घटे कतार में रहो बाद में मिले या ना मिले ।।। — kunjan patel (@KB22kunjan) May 16, 2021Bhai sab log apki tarah vip nahi hai Hame to 1 hafte se kanpur me slot hi nahi mil raha hai aur apko ghar pe aake laga gaya vaccine . — Avneesh Pandey (@avneeshp7) May 15, 2021Bhai aaplog ko ghar me kaise mil raha — Ashwin (@TWEETSASHWIN) May 15, 2021Is Every cricketer getting their jab at home? Those selected as members of the roster were ordered to book slots and visit the vaccination center to get their jabs at the earliest or the vaccines will be arranged for the cricketers by the local administration. Having said that, the BCCI also has plans to establish a B-string side in order to play limited-overs cricket in Sri Lanka in July and Yadav might have the opportunity to break into the Playing XI there.
