Kartik Aaryan is no stranger when it comes to some really alluring footwear. From some of the zaniest and insane desert boots to an equally zany pair of sneakers that seemed to be held together with pins and straps, he has pulled it all off. This time again, while promoting his upcoming film, Pati Patni Aur Woh, which releases on the December 6, he was spotted in a rather cool, deconstructed, or rather, destroyed pair of boots. But first, letâs get to his outfit. Kartik is wearing a rather hipster-looking hooded sweatshirt from Hummel. The sweatshirtâs colour palette, as understated as it is, goes really well with the all-white and distressed pair of denim that he is wearing. The outfit gives him a really cool and laid back aesthetic, almost as if he is trying to emulate the appearance of a rapper. A really cool and dapper way to dress up for the street, if you ask us. Finally, coming to his shoes, Kartik is seen wearing one of the best pairs of high-top lace-up boots that we have seen this year. Perhaps, the fact that these boots have a velvet finish, is what makes them so appealing. The particular pair that Kartik is seen wearing is the 6 Inch Textile Boots from Timberland and comes courtesy of their collaboration with Off White Virgil Abloh. These Off White X Timberland Textile Boots retail for about $450 or roughly Rs 33,000 on GOAT. Primarily made of nubuck leather, the boots have a very technical and functional clothing vibe, which sits really well with most streetwear outfits, irrespective of the theme. It seems Kartik and his stylists have played around with aesthetic elements such as extra laces and the leather tags of the boot. Considering that it is these very embellishments that give any Off White and Virgil Abloh piece its value and significance, we have to say that removing them was a rather ballsy move. Well, to each his own. All weâll say is that the boots look super zany and awesome. Great going, Kartik! View the full article
Men's fashion is a constantly evolving platform. Proving just that, at the Lotus Fashion Week 2019, we saw a bunch of designers who showcased stellar menswear collections. Here are two interesting designers we really liked from the show: 1. Manoviraj Khosla Called the 'Kaleidoscopia', Manoviraj Khosla's collection is a fusion of the elements of a resplendent garden: from the glorious flowers to quaint butterflies, the collection celebrates colour, prints and embroidery symptomatic of the beauties of nature imbibed in masculine sensibility. © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing Interesting elements like metallic foil prints, sublimation and embroidered jackets and shoes give the collection a dynamic feel. 2. Komal & Ratul Sood This collection was a whirlwind of variant textures and play of prints to curate designs fit for a man not shy of experimenting with his wardrobe silhouettes. Puffed sleeves with vests, print on print, velvet bandhgalas and asymmetrical kurtas are a few of the fascinating designs that were a part of this collection. © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing
Jason Momoa is all about effortless fashion, and he just proved it yet again on the Red Carpet for the Oscars 2019. His super rugged, scruffy aesthetic with his signature flowing locks strikingly complemented his dust pink suit, that was designed by the iconic Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away on the 19th of February. His accessory game just hit a major fashion sixer and proved that you don't have to go extravagant to create an iconic moment in fashion. © Getty Images The 'Aquaman' star carried a pink velvet Fendi scrunchie with him, just in case he later wanted to tie up his long tresses. The statement way he converted that little accessory as a super cool add-on to his pink suit, is one for the books. He tied it around his wrist, without a sliver of hesitation whatsoever. © Getty Images © Getty Images Now, if anyone on this planet can be secure about their masculinity without checking off the pointers on the list, it has to be this man right here. He could wear a little black frilly dress and still look manly, and he clearly knows that - which is why he probably didn't so much as think twice before embracing the pink velvet scrunchie. And isn't this exactly how fashion should work? Adherence to gender-based boundaries? No, thanks! © Filmmagic © Getty Images He matched his outfit with his wife Lisa Bonet, and also somehow ended up coordinating it with his other 'Queen' - the mother of dragons herself. © Instagram/prideofgypsies Way to go, Jason!
After 'Andhadhun', it is now established that when it comes to taking up unusual roles and playing them perfectly, no one can beat Ayushmann Khurrana. However, apart from being an actor par excellence, Ayushmann's talents also extend to being a fashionista who doesn't shy away from taking on unconventional styles, much like the eclectic roles he does perfect justice to. For the promotion of his next venture 'Badhaai Ho', he stepped out wearing a striped button down shirt along with a pair of super baggy velvet pants, held together with an extra long, hanging belt. © Viral Bhayani We are in love with the innovative silhouette with a retro edge, that isn't only about style, but is super comfortable as well. The blue and white, striped button-down is classy, yet not 'out there'. The fact that he has chosen to do up all the buttons, all the way to the top, is indicative of his maturity when it comes to making a statement. © Viral Bhayani Coming to the pants, we are a fan of the pleated, wide silhouette in blue velvet. If you want to go for a piece that is extremely eye-catching, yet sophisticated, this is the piece to go for. © Viral Bhayani The 'Error' belt by Sahil Aneja is the piece that is giving the whole outfit its distinctive personality. While extra-long hanging belts usually make an appearance on women's outfits, this one here is proof that gender has nothing to do with style. © Viral Bhayani We like how the accessories and shoes grab the limelight in this outfit - be it the white disruptors or the statement sunnies, or the 'Error' belt for that matter. Keep going, Ayushmann, you're on the right track.
