  1. As a content creator, one has to understand that not everyone is going to like what you make and put it in front of the whole world to see. Therefore, the provision of âLikingâ or âDislikingâ videos on YouTube has been in place ever since the inception of the platform, in order to let the uploaders understand the kind of audience they have and what content would work in favour of them. via GIPHY Having said that, a lot is going on in the mind of the viewer while they are watching a video. Things like the reputation of the creator, the reason behind sharing the video and the real-world scenario related to which a video has been uploaded, also affect their thought process before they like or dislike it (oh, and then there is the content of the video as well). Keeping all those things in mind, here are the five most disliked videos in the history of YouTube India: 5. SIMMBA: Aankh Marey by T-Series The first and only video on the list which has more number of likes than dislikes, the 2019 version of Aankh Marey originally sung by Kumar Sanu in 1996 for film Tere Mere Sapne has gotten over 6,34,000 dislikes, which is understandable considering the video got over 839 million views. 4. Oru Adaar Love: Freak Penne Rap Song by Muzik247You know who Priya Varrier is and if you tell us that you haven't seen her iconic wink in Oru Adaar Loveâs Manikya Malaraya Poovi video, we will look you in the eye and tell you that you are lying. However, another song from the same movie, Freak Penne Rap managed to get over 948,000 dislikes and even became the most disliked song in the history of Indian music. 3. Amir Siddiqui reply to Carry by Team Nawab The first video on this list because of Indian gamer CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar) who took it upon himself to roast the world of TikTok and the guys who created content on the Chinese video platform after he uploaded the video titled YouTube vs TikTok: The End targeting TikToker Amir Siddiqui. Siddiqui responded to CarryMinati with this video but failed to impress the audience who disliked the video more than 9,57,000 times. 2. Aaja Beta Carry Teko Roast Sikhaye! by Kunal Kamra Indian comedian Kunal Kamra wanted to become a part of the entire âroastâ trend CarryMinati had started a couple of weeks ago and made the PUBG gamer his first target. In this video, Kamra joked about how Nagar got famous by simply abusing throughout his video and how that wasnât real comedy. Unfortunately, Kamraâs understanding of funny didnât sit well with the viewers who gave this video of his a whopping 1.5 million dislikes in a day and a half. Currently, the video is at 1.6 million dislikes but is expected to rise even further with time. 1. Exploring Shillong by Mr. Faisu With a suspended TikTok account based on an FIR filed by a member of the Shiv Sena IT Cell, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr, Faisu tried his hand at YouTube and shared his very first vlog in which he explores Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. However, within two weeks of the video being uploaded, it got over 3.5 million dislikes as opposed to 510,000 likes and quickly became the most hated video in the history of YouTube India. 2. It's been an entire freaking year since we watched Avengers: Endgame for the first time and became an emotional wreck because of it. Even now, after so many rewatches, any Marvel fan would feel the same kind of excitement when Captain America finally wielded Mjolnir and would be devastated when Tony Stark dies. The movie left a huge impact on every fan and what wouldn't we give to watch the movie for the first time all over again. But since that's obviously not possible, we can settle for all the new behind-the-scenes content that directors Joe and Anthony Russo are blessing us with right now. The entire process of making the movie would be as epic as the movie itself, after all it's the culmination of 22 movies and you have literally every actor who's ever been a part of MCU coming together. They hosted a virtual watch party and shared a bunch of BTS that honestly, I might just forgive them for ruining Cap's character arc in Endgame. The best one is, hands down, RDJ's final scene and what followed that. Downeyâs last day on set after shooting the âI am Iron Manâ moment. The very definition of a legend. 3. In the world of football, where numerous icons of the beautiful game have captured the imagination of fans over the years, few have managed to reach the stardom Cristiano Ronaldo has in his illustrious career. If winning 29 trophies including six league titles and five UEFA Champions League honours established him as second to none in club football, Ronaldo's triumphant run with Portugal in Euro 2016 proved he's just as good on the international circuit. From scoring insane headers, amazing free-kicks to the deft-touch finishes, Ronaldo's individual brilliance doesn't just make him an indispensable asset for his team, but also earned him five prestigious Ballon d'Ors. And, the fact that, at the age of 35, Ronaldo holds numerous goal-scoring records and still continues to prove his worth on the field, truly establishes him as one of the modern-day greats. 5. A lot of memes come from cringe content, of course, and that's something India never has a shortage for. We have had some iconic moments of viral videos and it honestly doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Why should only desi people suffer? We have the most over-the-top daily soaps and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that any reality show produced here is a goldmine for memes. Bigg Boss alone has blessed us with so many gems over the years, and I think we, as a nation, would forever be thankful for that. Sometimes, way less often than I would like, these hilarious videos cross the border and get the international fame it so desperately deserves and I'm so happy about it. So, I thought I would make a list of all the instances where desi videos ended up going viral all over the world. 1. Pooja, what is this behaviour? Hands down, the most iconic Bigg Boss video of all time. People know the entire conversation by heart and honestly, that's legendary status right there. And, the fact that our beloved Pooja changes her accent like four times will never not be hilarious. Please do yourself a favour and watch this video again, you deserve it. © Reddit 2. How can she slap? Another great moment in Indian TV history and I really hope this one lives on forever, it's just that funny. The violence, the drama, the titular slap? It has something for everyone. An iconic video, out and out. © Twitter 3. Gopi bahu washing the laptop Oh no Gopi bahu, what are you doing? I can't believe this level of comedy originated from a freaking saas-bahu serial but oh well! Moreover, I love how it became relevant again recently after people were using this video as joke about cleaning their laptops because of coronavirus. © Pinterest 4. The curtain slap I really find it so hard to believe that this is genuinely a scene that exists and it's not intended to be something hilarious. I mean, just look at her, what the hell is she even doing? Who goes and wraps a curtain around their neck like this? Indian TV peaked with this, tbh. © Youtube 5. The other guys in her DMsHer: **** you, I got plenty other guys in my DMs Her DMs: pic.twitter.com/e09cLFw2oq â The real GSK (@GSKINOT) September 15, 2018Okay, I kind of feel bad for this one, but at the same time, I don't. It's just a fun video and its main intention was to make everyone laugh and it did. Also, you can't deny desi guys, just like all other guys, are creepy in the DMs. BONUS © Twitter How can we have a list about desi things going viral without the iconic 'Bobs and Vagene' comment? That phrase is recognised all over the world and is probably the first thing people relate with India, and I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. View the full article
  6. Remember, Dr Mike from YouTube? Mikhail Varshavski, commonly known as Doctor Mike, is a Russian-American celebrity doctor in Osteopathic medicine, who got Insta-famous after being popularly tagged as #HotDoctorMike on social media. Here are a few things you should know about him that range from his fight against the Coronavirus, his YouTube channel, his style aesthetic to his social media clout: 1. With a current fan following of 3.6 million on Instagram and 5.3 million on YouTube, Doctor Mike is using his significant clout for good in the times of the Coronavirus pandemic with informative videos that ask people to stay alert, not anxious. View this post on InstagramA post shared by (@doctor.mike) 2. Dr Mike, aside from his career in medicine, started a YouTube channel wherein he tries to make medicine more familiar to his audience. To make things interesting, he reviews medical dramas and breaks them down in terms of what they present accurately and what is fiction. We're talking major shows like Grey's Anatomy, House, The Good Doctor, Scrubs to name a few. Here's one of his famous videos: 3. His fan following has made eerie comparisons of him with onscreen fictional doctor 'McDreamy' from Grey's Anatomy, courtesy of his spiffy style that we get to witness on Instagram. 4. In fact, these days, amidst the Coronavirus outbreak, he's doing everything in his reach to fight the pandemic. He was one of the first ones to put up videos on the outbreak with constant updates. 5. This was followed up with a doctor's perspective on the frontlines and how it's poles apart from what politicians have to say about Covid-19. 6. Other than that, his quest to get N-95 masks for his colleagues worth 50,000 dollars are popular videos on Covid-19. 7. If you haven't already noticed, one of the reasons why he has a huge fan following is because of the way he cleans up when he's not in his scrubs. In fact, for other fellow doctors, he's no less than an inspiration. View this post on InstagramA post shared by (@doctor.mike) As of now, he's busy with patients on the frontlines in hospitals and also making videos for the rest of us (whenever he gets the time) so that we know as much as we can about this pandemic. We hope to see the pandemic ending soon, so that doctors like him get the well-deserved break that they need at this point. View the full article
  7. It is a well known fact that Farhan Khan doesnât shy away from speaking her mind and sharing her opinions on social media. Farah took to Twitter to share a video where she has slammed all the Bollywood celebs who have been posting workout videos on social media. As all the gyms are shut during the lockdown, celebs like Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez have been sharing their workout regimes with their fans on their social media platforms. But, this hasnât gone down too well with Farah. Hereâs the video: The bigger epidemic.. work out videos!! donât make me feel worse pls! pic.twitter.com/NYs4tFwm3a â Farah Khan (@TheFarahKhan) March 26, 2020âIt's my humble request to all the 'celebrities' and 'stars' that please stop making your workout videos and bombarding us with it. I can understand that you all are privileged and you donât have any other worries in this global pandemic except for looking after your figures. But some of us, most of us have bigger concerns during this crisis," Farah said in her video. She also threatened to unfollow the celebs who continue to share their workout videos. âSo please have mercy on us and stop uploading your workout videos and if you canât stop, then please donât feel bad if I unfollow you. Stay safe," she added. Well, it seems like it has completely backfired on Farah as people are now trolling her for her opinions on Twitter. People told her that thereâs nothing wrong if celebs are motivating their fans for keeping their health in check through exercises during this lockdown. There's nothing wrong in giving motivation to those netizen. Rather than they keep eating and watching tv, it's fine if they do the exercise and also house work. â Mira (@itskaytobeyou) March 26, 2020There's nothing wrong with motivating and entertaining people in such a situation, don't just crib for no reason. 8. After dishing out an epic homeground performance at 2019âs Pune Weekender, you might expect Pune-based producer Ritviz to take a break, go on vacation - anything except collab with Delhi rap prodigies Seedhe Maut, and dive into a studio with the intent to blend together Hindustani classical, EDM and the sickest lyrics from Delhiâs increasingly dominating rap game. Well, thatâs what the trio did - not just meeting in Delhi and Goa to fill up your future 2020 playlists with upcoming releases, but also collaborating for their first ever music video - Chalo Chalein, Check it out below: Sweet deal, especially with the dancers. While you can catch an interview with dancehall feature Jahnavi Sheriff here, I went on to pick Ritvizâs mind on some very important questions. Hereâs the gist of it. First of all, thanks for speaking to us! This is the first time weâre speaking again since the Weekender, if Iâm not wrong. Howâs things been for you since then? âItâs been a very insane roller coaster ride, honestly. Itâs been so overwhelming that Iâm still processing it right now, itâll still take some time to gather my [thoughts].â The video for Chalo Chalein came out very recently. Can you tell us a bit about the shoot itself? Working with the dancers during the production phase - how did it go for you? âSo we shot the music video right at the tip of Colaba. The place was beautiful, and everyone was working together on the set. The shoot began in the morning and my call-time was at around 4⦠it was an entire day where the entire crew was on it, and when I got there, the energy - I was jumping! You can even see this in the BTS videos, thatâs how excited I was!â âOur âold uncleâ walked in towards the end. That was just magic - the actor can just flip, or switch. Itâs like he has a switch button and once you hit it, he just transforms into a character. Every single dancer as well was so mind-blowing - watching them do their takes, you know. Itâs always fun to hang with them.â âOverall, it was just one epic day. I wish I had more shoots coming up for me because this was a very memorable one.â While the dancers have their own styles and backgrounds contrasting on screen, thereâs also the matter of you and Seedhe Maut. You both have your own unique talents and it comes from different places - very literally from Pune and Delhi. What was that collaborative spirit like? âTo start off, Iâve been a great fan of them right from the beginning, when they launched their first EP. It was a different world, completely - I come from a very different place. Thing is, this is just a teaser, compared to what we have coming up in 2020. Itâs insane, I remember I had gone to Delhi to meet the boys⦠the idea was just âlisten to our musicâ, and weâll see if we connect over something. We didnât think about the whole gaana banana hai thing - we were just hanging out.â âNow that turned into two days where we locked ourselves in the studio and knocked out two songs. Later, we went to Goa, and we didnât even go on the beach. It was a great way to explore and work, and eventually it felt like we created a system. Weâre constantly playing with each otherâs melodies and lyrics, in such a fun environment.â Now, you mentioned that âuncleâ in your music videos. This is the sixth or seventh one to feature in a Ritviz music video - where did the idea come in? âIt all started with filmmaker Reema [Sengupta] of CATNIP, who conceptualised the video and together, we came up with the idea of that uncle. It got so free-flowing and we entered different [creative] zones⦠we ended up having him because it just felt right, you know? In a way, we were paying respects to where we started from.â âSo yeah, weâre continuing this little tradition!â Can you tell us more about your experience working with Bacardi Sessions? âItâs been a great journey - this is what a brand and artist collaboration should look like. My collaboration with Bacardi has been insane with house party sessions and so on⦠itâs been unbelievable.â âThe idea of expression, what Iâm trying to portray in terms of visual and audio - the synergy works well with Bacardiâs motto. It really pushes the message that things you care about and are really passionate about - you should pursue that. Thatâs what my music is all about, and the thought process I inculcate. Itâs beautiful, and we have a lot of stuff in the pipeline.â On your Youtube channel, the Chalo Chalein video has a very interesting top comment from a fan. 'My father passed away on 24th February 2020 after fighting cancer for more than a year and a half. This song has been playing on repeat. Currently sitting in my car listening to this song on repeat. This song just makes me feel that my father has left his physical body and gone to âneel gaganâ aka heaven. Thank you Ritviz from the bottom of my heart for this song.' How does it feel to influence a fan so deeply? âWhen I read this comment, I couldnât process it since it was a very heavy comment and⦠the whole thing was very hard to digest, you know. Itâs extremely overwhelming but also humbling at the same time.â âJust the fact that my music can travel into somebodyâs psyche⦠I say this, always, but I feel that a song basically takes birth inside a listener. I say this onstage too - âitâs not my song, itâs your songâ. When people come to my show and sing along to my music, they sing it like itâs theirs!â âThat way, I know that this is that dudeâs song. It has become his. Iâm just glad that I have been able to share my music, which was my only goal since I was a little kid. If I sit on a song for too long, I feel weird about it, so my entire goal is just to share whatever I have and experience this entire thing together.â Can you tell us about any upcoming projects in 2020? âSure! First of all, there's the upcoming project with Seedhe Maut - a new album that you can expect to come in a couple of months. My own album, DEV, is also in the process and should come out around then too.â View the full article

  10. A man from Delhi found an ingenious idea to get inside the airport by cutting the chase of long queues. He impersonated a Lufthansa airline pilot and was arrested by the CISF personnel at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday. According to Deccan Chronicle, Rajan Mahbubani was dressed up as a pilot and was arrested at the departure gate of the airport. He was about to board the AirAsia flight to Kolkata. A senior CISF official said, "The man who lives in the Vasant Kunj area of the national capital, owned a fake ID card of Lufthansa Airlines captain, and he used it to get privilege at airports.” © BCCL "The passenger disclosed that he used to shoot YouTube videos on aviation and had obtained the Lufthansa fake ID card in Bangkok," the officer added. While talking to him, police found out that Rajan used to make TikTok videos and he also had videos wearing different uniforms in his phone which included him dressing up as an Army Colonel. © BCCL Also, this is not the first time someone has tried to enter the airport by dressing up as someone else, a few months ago 32-year-old Jayesh Patel was also caught by the CISF personnel at the Delhi airport for disguising himself as an 81-year-old man. He arrived in a wheelchair to board the flight from Delhi to New York. View the full article

  12. The 90s and early 2000s in India was an era apart. New things were coming our way and the world was opening up, to us Indians. Influence of western culture was becoming a bit more obvious and we could see it trickle through popular culture every now and then. Our most favourable pastime though was music and since English music was pouring in immensely, India decided to dive into absolute music diversity and produce some excellent music. That's when the entire era of popular Indian music arose and we couldn't get enough of it! Remember Luky Ali's 'O Sanam'? © Sony Well, looking back at that time is just another way to welcome nostalgia back into our lives. The songs were superb and catchy, the videos spoke about heartache, young people in love, daring women or happy times and the people in the video were memorable to say the least. Both men and women alike pursuing a career in acting or modelling would be a part of these videos, and of course we would all crush on them mighty hard! Some of them stayed on to become popular actors, actresses or models while the rest remained a one-hit wonder. Here's reminiscing back in time when life was simpler, and just watching that one woman in that one video made our day! Here are six women from popular videos back in the 90s and early 2000s we wish we had amidst us, even today! (1) Nauheed Cyrusi © Sony Music Entertainment Recently I was going through my Instagram account and suddenly I saw this profile that looked so familiar. When I opened it, there was a sunken feeling of nostalgia within! It was the 'piya basanti' girl. Remember her? Well, I am sure the kids from the 90s will definitely remember her. Also, looks like, she was stuck in a time capsule because she hasn't aged a bit! © Instagram (2) Shyla Lopez © Vevo The surreal beauty, Shyla Lopez was a rage in the 90s when we first saw her in Shaan's song 'Meri Soni, Meri Tamanna'. After that, she went onto feature in many more videos, the most popular one being 'Baho mein chalein aayo', where she played a Rajasthani tribal woman. She was seriously the one and only fantasy for the 90s boys! We found her on the internet again and she looks as hot as ever. © Facebook (3) Sushma Reddy © Femina She was mostly made popular in Sonu Nigam videos back in the 90s. Girl with the beautiful smile, Sushma is Sameera and Meghna Reddy's sister, who first appeared in TV commercials before getting a gig in the pop video world. She also went on to become a VJ with Channel V when it was launched and also hosted a show on Discovery Travel and Living. She's done a bunch of movies and now she produces her own projects. © Facebook (4) Michelle Innes © Spny Music Ent This marvellous striking Anglo-Indian beauty from Allahabad was breathtaking when we first saw her in Sonu Nigam's 'Is Kadar Pyaar hai' and then again in Euphoria's 'Dhoom Picchuk Dhoom'. She appeared on the Vogue India's cover in 2007 when her modelling career was at its peak but apart from that, our only memory of her was from 'Dhoom Picchuk Dhoom' and we absolutely fell in love with her then! © BCCL (5) Meghna Naidu © Sony Actress Meghna Naidu became an overnight sensation in her hit video 'Kaliyon Ka Chaman', where she was seen in a backless almost see through sequential top, most women wouldn't dare to wear in the early 2000s! A game changing baller, she made the 2000s more daring for women and we love her for that. Currently she acts, travels and also teaches dance! © Instagram (6) Shefali Jariwala © YouTube If you don't know her then your early 2000's were an absolute waste! The 90s hangover lasted till about mid 2000s where pop culture was becoming more radical and thought-provoking with the changing narratives. Shefali was definitely one of the main protagonists for this change with her 'Kanta Laga' video which became so popular, people almost forgot the original song! Her outfit was her showing off her thong, while wearing a pair of denims but in reality, the thongs were a part of the denim! She became popular as the 'thong girl' right after she was featured in the video. © Instagram So, there you go. Six charming beautiful girls from the 90s and early 2000s we can never forget even though they're a one-hit wonders and here's hoping these songs remain on a loop in our head, for the rest of our lives!
  13. Chris Hemsworth is not just one of the fittest people in Marvel, but also the entire Hollywood. I mean, that's like a pre-requisite for playing Thor in any movie other than Avengers: Endgame. He's a gym bro out and out, but not the cringey, annoying one, but the kind that would give anyone the motivation to actually start working out or maybe take their workouts to the next level. He, obviously, spends a good amount of time working out, so it's no surprise that every other thing he posts online is videos of him doing just that. But, what sets him apart is his content. Unlike the usual crowd, who post gym-mirror selfies and flaunt oiled abs at the same damn gym every time, Chris likes to mix it up and actually show all the crazy workouts he does. Well, if that's not inspiring, I don't know what is. I probably heard about 'underwater workout' for the first time because of Chris. 14. We were probably in third or fourth grade when Archie comics got its Indian avatar in the form of KJO drama Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Anjali and Rahul instantly became friendship goals for us and Tina became everyone's crush. Also, wearing that 'cool' around our neck was a 'thing' . Believe it or not, it's been 21 years since it happened to us and naturally everyone has been talking about KKHH today on social media. View this post on Instagram Firsts are always special! Also, last year KJO threw light on how certain scenes were shot and where were they shot. Besides, there were a few deleted scenes as well that was like a child finding a hidden toy. Pure joy watching the parts which didn't make it to the final cut. Not many people know but Salman's role was in fact first offered to Saif Ali Khan and Rani's role was rejected by many actresses including Raveena Tandon and Twinkle Khanna. We're glad the movie turned out the way it did because it wouldn't have been the iconic movie of love and friendship without any of these ingredients.
  15. Vicky Kaushal is the actor who is giving our classic Bollywood heroes a run for their money. The man who started out with a dream in his heart and treaded on an unknown path has come a long way from his 'Masaan' days. And that btw, on the table, was my birthday cake! ðâ¤ï¸ð A post shared by Vicky Kaushal (@vickykaushal09) on May 16, 2019 at 2:12am PDT We stumbled upon some unseen, raw footage of his theatre days, which are notable performances in their own league. One of the videos shows Vicky in a theatrical production where he's seen essaying a comic character. Another short clip shows a talented Vicky playing the role of a rough police officer misbehaving with a woman. This has a carefree Vicky drinking with his friends and contemplating a plan to commit suicide. Interestingly, he was also a part of Vasan Bala's short movie 'Geek Out' . For any Vicky Kaushal fan, this is a gold mine right here.
  16. Some people have stopped talking about 'Avengers: Endgame', but not us. It's been almost a week since the official spoiler ban was lifted by none other than the Russo Brothers and Chris Evans being just like his character, waited till then to share a lot of behind the scenes stuff from the biggest movie ever, unlike his fellow actors like Robert Downey Jr, Chris Pratt, and Elizabeth Olsen. 17. The very popular, albeit annoying to the level of self-destruction, Chinese video making application TikTok has been finally taken down from Google and Apple app stores in India. The (awesome) news comes after the Madras High Court prohibited its downloads on 3rd April. Now, following the direction of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the app has been temporarily banned in the country. © Twitter The popular app which was actively used by millions of Indians to create short videos was said to contain “inappropriate content”, in a petition filed by senior advocate S Muthukumar. He further stated that children using the app were vulnerable to potential paedophiles using the application, and sought an immediate ban on the use of TikTok. © Justdial While there is strong merit in those allegations, we must recall that Indonesia also temporarily blocked TikTok last year, saying that it contained pornography and blasphemous content. Perhaps it is really time for TikTok to take a step back and think about regulating its content and privacy/security details. View this post on Instagram Comments how that vedio you like or not ??? 20. Facebook and Instagram users in India can now use licensed Indian music in their posts and videos, as the company has signed licensing deals with three of India's top music labels including T-Series, Zee Music Company and Yash Raj Films. Licensed music from these labels can be used in social experiences such as videos, messages, stories and other creative content on Facebook and Instagram. Facebook noted that the posts and videos, which users choose to share on the platform, can be made more meaningful and personal with music. © Instagram Thanks to this partnership, users can include their favorite tracks from popular Bollywood films including the latest hits like Apna Time Aayega from 'Gully Boy', Aankh Marey from 'Simmba', Swag Se Swagat from 'Tiger Zinda Hai', as well as regional hits like Lahore by Guru Randhawa, Zingaat from 'Sairat' plus old classics like Bas Ek Sanam Chaahiye from 'Aashiqui'. Commenting on the partnership, Facebook India's Director and Head of Partnerships, Manish Chopra said, “Music has always been a powerful medium of expression. We are excited about partnering with the music industry in India and the idea that people here will be now be able to include music in their videos on Facebook and Instagram, opening up more options for more ways to express and sharing memories with friends and family.” Facebook signed its first ever music label deal in December of 2017 with Universal Music Group, and the company now has licensing partnerships with different labels across 40 countries.

You go to the gym to augment your strength, your physique and your fitness. But some trainers make you do questionable stuff to show that training with them is 'different.' However, is different always better? You can decide that for yourself. Here are the 10 of the dumbest (and in some cases, outright dangerous) workout videos I have seen in 2018 so far: 1. Ego Pressing On The Leg Press I have seen this multiple times at the gym. Trainers add plates to the leg press to satisfy egos. In no way does partial leg pressing help their clients. Here is how it can be outright dangerous: 2. Curling In The Squat Rack It is a golden rule of lifting. DO NOT CURL IN THE SQUAT RACK. Especially if you are blocking someone from squatting doing it! And if you do, at least curl with a full range of motion. Unlike this: It is one of the reasons people cannot grow their biceps. 3. Deadlifting With Poor Technique If you do not plan to compete in powerlifting, you can skip doing deadlifts. Yes, you read that right. There is no mandate of doing deadlifts. It is an exercise where one can easily go wrong and hurt themselves due to poor technique: 4. Functional Stupidity How do you do this? Pick a compound exercise and insert a piece of functional equipment into it. Like jumping, running, etc. into it. Make it unsafe as possible. As more the safety issue, better the exercise. Just like this: 5. Using The Smith Machine To Satisfy The Ego The Smith machine can be a great tool and can also help you work during injuries as a prehab or a rehab tool. But many people just use it to satisfy their egos: 6. Quarter Squats This is a favourite for many people. They load up the weight of more than twice of what they can do on the squat and do quarter squats. This must be a common sight at your gym as well: 7. CrossFit I have written a piece on why CrossFit does not make sense as a form of workout. It leads to people doing such questionable things at the gym: View this post on Instagram ð via @jeff_fitness - - ðµð¾ð»ð»ð¾ð @GymFuckery @GymFuckeryTV @GenerationIronOfficial @Squat_Wolf - - ð¥ @gymfuckerytv - - - Send us your gym fails, comedy and memes (dm or email us) or use #gymfuckery to be featured. Fake Plates Using plates that look like 20 kilos but are actually 5 kilos. Yes, that is a trend now to be popular on Instagram: 9. Fake Dumbbells Fake weights have now become a thing with dumbbells too: View this post on Instagram Lightweight baby ð³ð - - - - ð¥ credit @zoekfit - - Send us your gym fails, comedy and memes (dm or email us) or use #gymfuckery to be featured. 23. Who doesn't like a good ol' classic like '8 Mile?' Yeah, it's a classic. If you disagree with me we can take the fight outside! Just like that, there are a lot of Hollywood movies which have used music videos to up the interest quotient in their movies. Getting a big name to do the title song for your movie will all but guarantee the people watch it, right? If only it were so. There have been many misses in this regard but for today, we're only going to focus on the ones that worked. These music videos didn't just generate interest in the movies they were associated with, they became superhits on their own. Again, I'm digressing. The only thing we're interested in here is how good these music videos are at making people go and watch the movie they are associated with. It's a list based purely on how a song makes you feel, so bear with me for a bit. You might not agree with my choices, but before you tear into me in the comments, listen to the songs. They might just change your mind. Also, use good headphones/earphones please. Using crap listening devices will doing an injustice to these songs… 1. '8 Mile' – Lose Yourself Every 13-year-old kid who was able to convince his/her parents to get them this cassette when it came out is a legend! But, back then, little did we know that there was a music video and an entire movie we could watch too. Yeah, the internet wasn't what it is today. Forget exams, the only thing that mattered was memorising the lyrics. The clocks run out. Times out. Over. Blao! I could rap the whole thing at one point. No lies! Could you? Anyway, the fact remains that Eminem is a Rap God and if you haven't watched '8 Mile' yet, there's no better time than now! If you have, I don't need to convince you to watch it again! 2. 'Dangerous Minds' – Gangsta's Paradise Everyone has heard this song. You haven't? Of course, you have! Just give it a listen: But, did you know that it was originally made for the movie 'Dangerous Minds?' Not many people do. Why? The movie wasn't the greatest. Even Michelle Pfeiffer couldn't make it work. The song, on the other hand, broke all sorts of records and even won Coolio a Grammy. Still, the movie is pretty bad. It's the only movie on this list I'd not recommend you giving a watch! 3. 'Black Panther' – Pray For Me There's no denying two things here. This is the coolest looking video on this list and 'Black Panther' is the highest earning movie on this list. I don't even need to brag about this one. The music video will make you appreciate it on its own. So, instead of writing, I'm just gonna watch the video with all of you: 4. 'Ghostbusters' – Ghostbusters It took a lot of effort to convince myself to start writing again. The only thing I want to do right now, is watch 'Black Panther.' But, we all have jobs and sometimes they suck. Just kidding, I love my job. Anyway, on to Ghostbusters. First, I'm not talking about the movie that released in 2016. I'm talking about the original. Still not clear? This should help: Before you comment on the video, bear in mind that it was released in 1984. I'd say it's pretty revolutionary when you take that into account. Did Ray Parker Jr. know his song was going to become one of the most easily recognisable songs in history? No. Does he mind? Hell no! After this one, all I can say is 'Ghostbusting makes me feel good!' 5. 'Rocky III' – Eye Of The Tiger Let's face it. By the time 'Rocky II' was over, people weren't expecting too much from 'Rocky III'. Why? He's defeated Creed. He's a champion. It's only downhill from there. Or so we thought. They found a way to make Rocky the underdog once more. He was past his prime and facing a hungry new-comer. But, what sealed it for the movie has got to be the song. The song that is part of everyone's gym playlist. It's not a part of yours? It has to be. Add it now! Everyone wants a ripped body like young Sylvester Stallone. Don't fool yourself! You do too! This song is the only way to get it! 6. 'Lego Movie' – Everything Is Awesome The first time I heard this song, it blew my mind. The 'Lego Movie' blew my mind. It was so much better than expected. Part of it has to do with the awesome theme song. When Batman approves! You better get on board! I'm so pumped right now it's not funny! Everything is awesome! Be careful with this one. It can make even the crappiest of days feel awesome. 7. 'Men In Black II' – Nod Ya Head Okay, this is a personal favourite. Not sure if everyone will agree. For me, Will Smith is an icon. I don't care what you have to say about him or his kids. For me, he will always be the kid from 'The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air' who became a Hollywood superstar! He deserves my respect and yours too. I give him props for sticking to his rap career even after becoming a superstar. Check out his charisma: His rap career did come full circle when he did the theme song for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Congratulations Will. But, I'll still remember him for this one. The first 'Men In Black' theme song was pretty cool too. But, this one is just better. Why? It makes me want to watch all 3 movies. Yeah, you heard me right, all 3 movies! 8. 'Saturday Night Fever' – Stayin' Alive The last music video on this list is here for just one reason, and that is to show the world how far a young John Travolta can take anything. Just look at the beautiful man: This wasn't supposed to be the last video on the list but screw it. I have to go rewatch all of John Travolta's work now. The man is a legend. If I keep going this will become a John Travolta appreciation post. So, I'm out. Figure out which of these movies you're going to watch first. Have a great day!
