  1. Ayan Mukerji's 2013 release Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, is among the most-loved Bollywood films. Back then, upon its release, the movie became a rage among youngsters and turned out to be a huge hit at the box office. Moviegoers fell in love with Naina and Bunny's love story and it still has a huge fan following, even after around nine years of its release. View this post on Instagram A video is currently doing the rounds on social media in which a group of foreigners is watching the film, which also starred Kalki Koechlin, Aditya Roy Kapur, and the late Farooq Sheikh in important roles. Well, a guy, presumably connected to India, recently showed Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani to his firangi friends and their reactions might upset the film's fans. In the clip, the foreigners can be seen calling YJHD 'toxic' and 'problematic'. Yes, you read that right! However, the caption suggests that they, at last, liked it. Posting the video on Instagram, a guy named Deven (username: devntell) wrote, "the movie won them over by the end #bollywoodmovie #bollywoodmovies #desimemes #brownmemes #southasian". Watch it below: View this post on Instagram Not just the clip, even the reactions in the comment section are hilarious. Reacting to the video, an Instagram user commented, "What's gonna happen when they watch Kabir Singh". Another social media user wrote, "I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who felt that it was problematic (crying emojis)". A third comment reads, "We tried ZNMD with three multi-cultural friend group, and it went "very well" with a similar commentary following throughout". For the unversed, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. View the full article

  3. Pravin Tambe, along with the Kolkata Knight Riders team, watched the biopic on his life, which was released on Friday, and were left teary-eyed and extremely emotional by the end. After watching the movie about his journey with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team, leg-spinner Pravin Tambe was overcome with emotion and speechlessness. On Friday, the film Kaun Pravin Tambe? was officially released. Tambe was seen enjoying the movie with the KKR players and staff in a video provided by KKR. Tambe then stood up to say a few words, but his voice became strangled as he tried to form words. He cried as he said, "I just want to say..." The team erupted in cheers as a show of support for the seasoned spinner. After the premiere was over, the star of the night, Tambe, somehow, managed to fight his tears and asked the viewers to stick to their dreams and never think about giving up. He urged everyone to understand and realise the fact that dreams do come true if you manage to stick with them and work on realising them relentlessly. "𝘕𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦" Scenes from last night as the boys watched the inspiring #KaunPravinTambe at a special screening by @DisneyPlusHS! @legytambe #KKRHaiTaiyaar #IPL2022 pic.twitter.com/LKjABXk1Qj — KolkataKnightRiders (@KKRiders) April 1, 2022 Shreyas Iyer, the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders, was also present for the show, and when the film was finished, he commented about how thrilled the team was to see the film and how they finally got to see it. It was emotional, the songs were pleasant, and when he gave his message at the conclusion, he became visibly moved. When the movie ended, there were claps, cheers, whistles, and pats on the back for Pravin Tambe. Many people are aware that he made his acting debut at the age of 41, but many are unaware of his previous accomplishments. People will watch the film and learn about it, and perhaps it will inspire them to never give up, Tambe stated in the video. View this post on Instagram Before getting selected by Rajasthan Royals in 2013, Tambe had never played professional cricket. When he played for them that season, he became the oldest Indian Premier League (IPL) debutant. In 2014, he even scored a hat-trick against KKR. He was purchased by KKR in the IPL 2020 auction, however, his contract was terminated by the BCCI since he participated in a T10 league without the necessary permissions. He went on to play in the Caribbean Premier League for the Trinbago Knight Riders. View the full article

  5. For the sake of this article, let’s assume that you’re in a relationship. Your partner is everything you want her to be - smart, sexy, caring, daring, whatever qualities float your boat. Walking with her hand in your hand in a room full of people, makes you feel good about yourself. But, if we were to change the dynamics of this equation just by a tad bit, where you’re not simply walking into a room with her, but she’s also getting the attention of every other guy in the room, how would it make you feel? © istock Would you feel proud? Insecure? Cocky? Or a rather less admitted feeling - turned on? While society and most people understand where the first three emotions come from, it is the one where you get turned on by the sight, which is the most scandalous. And we get why that may be. © istock Because getting turned on by watching other men show interest in your woman, can be a very explosive and controversial thought to have in what people like to call a ‘loving relationship’. However, what these people fail to acknowledge is that the idea of getting turned on by watching your partner get intimate with someone else is not taboo, it’s a legit fetish and it is called cuckolding. © istock Cuckolding, in simple terms, means watching your partner have *** with another person. What sounds to some as their worst nightmare, is actually a sexual fetish for quite a few men out there, who get off on the idea of sexual jealousy. In fact, the word ‘cuck’ is used to refer to a man who is weak or in this case - not alpha enough to ‘control his woman’. The kink is also not very uncommon when you come to think about it, and just how highly searched a category ‘cuckolding’ is on porn websites, is pretty telling in itself. The reason why anyone would be into something like this, which clearly seems emotionally scarring to most of us, is because the act tends to induce jealousy into the mix, which is a good catalyst for arousal. And of course, there is the entire trope about wanting to do something that is called forbidden by the monogamous society we live in, only to get off of it. © istock Psychologist Dr David Ley in his book, ‘Insatiable Wives’ mentioned the possibility of watching your partner with someone else often makes one enthusiastic and motivated enough to beat the other guy’s sperm for fertilization. Not that most men who are into this fetish do it without protection, which is why, the win for them, in the end, becomes - your partner’s desire for you over the other guy. Bordering on emotions of humiliation and sexual vanity, where a man might be turned on when his partner is physically being desired by someone else, while the fetish might have a logic behind it, it is gravely misunderstood in a society like ours, where monogamy is idolized. © istock However, for someone who finds a partner that gets turned on by watching them go at it with someone else, it is no less than cracking a jackpot. Of course, the act of cuckolding has its own rules, where consent and comfort play the key role, for neither of the two should feel like they’re being exploited or violated. For some, cuckolding brings out an irresistible desire for their partner, heightening their arousal while for others it becomes a way to fall in love with their partner all over again. Either way, it is not as cringe as we’d think, considering couples often use it as the ingredient to spice their relationship! Source: Psychology Today View the full article

  7. The Kashmir Files, the latest release at the box office, has managed to take everyone by a storm with not just the numbers it has been raking up at the box office, but also with what has been shown to the audience, making them weep at the sight of the atrocities that the Kashmiri Pandits had to face back in the 1990s. © Zee Studios Taking us painfully through the turn of events that preceded the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from the state by ravaging Islamic gangs who murdered, raped and simply chased away nearly half a million Kashmiri Pandits, Vivek Agnihotri opened what seems like a can of tears, as audiences dissolve in heart-break and hard-hitting facts while still in their seats at the theatres. With an overwhelming response from people, who have claimed to have come back home feeling shook, several people who had witnessed the tragedy with their own eyes, took to Twitter to share their first-hand accounts of watching the movie. Message from my father about #TheKashmirFiles pic.twitter.com/fF5UDgAx5L — Samay Raina (@ReheSamay) March 13, 2022Samaybhai, feel really sorry to see what you people had to go through in your own country. I hope kashmiri pandits gets justice. — Vivek (@Topredd) March 13, 2022 A user shared a screenshot of a text message he received from his father, where he wrote, “Abhi film dekh ke aagaye..It was painful for sweety and me to see all this again..we were sobbing and crying..last scene is of vandhama massacre..i was the first journalist to reach there that morning..i saw 23 dead bodies there..wahi scene last wala hai”. Your father must have gone through very much! I am right now in the cinema hall, writing this in the intermission! Kudos to the whole team — Swayam (@SwayamSah) March 13, 2022Unfortunately, nothing happened to people who lost everything, till date. Politicians across parties just exploited the same people again & again till date. — Nilabja Dey (@Feluda71) March 13, 2022No offense, but exactly what justice mean to you. Personally I think, whenever these kind of things happen, the best we can do after 30 years is to make sure this never get repeated and people should always remember what can happen when extremists forces are not stopped. — Shakil Alam (@itxshakil) March 13, 2022 With almost 8 thousand retweets, several people on Twitter have responded to the tweet saying how it was truly ‘heartbreaking’. One user wrote, “Your father must have gone through very much! I am right now in the cinema hall, writing this in the intermission! First part was haunting, I don't know how the people who have suffered must have felt! But to portray all this in this manner! Kudos to the whole team.” As a kasshmiri pandit please adress that not one is promoting that film Well it does not need any promotion but why no is promoting it — Nikunj Jain (@NikunjJ35725500) March 13, 2022 Another Kashmiri Pandit replied to the tweet as he wrote “As a Kashmiri pandit please adress that not one is promoting that film. Well, it does not need any promotion but why no is promoting it.” A question that quite a lot of people wondered. Infact, in a movie review by Koimoi from a Kashmiri Pandit himself, the writer claims that when he took his mother along to watch the movie, she couldn’t help but relate to the gut-wrenching scenes in the movie that are being called as close as cinema could have come to reality. Last scene are from Wandhama massacre in 1998. I have watched movie a day back and its not going from my head. All scenes are flashing up, I wonder what our fellow citizens from Kashmir who left their soul and moved must be going through. — Roshni Gandhi (@roshshah89) March 13, 2022Samay. I sincerely pray for strength to your family. I am so sorry your family had to go through this. At the same time your previous tweets prove that you are confused and want to fit in circles. I humbly request you to take stance be strong headed in these matters. — Adishesh (@Adishesh2) March 13, 2022 Wishing immense support and strength to Kashmiri Pandits out there who have witnessed the monstrosity first hand, users are dropping comments saying, “Last scene are from Wandhama massacre in 1998. I have watched movie a day back and its not going from my head. All scenes are flashing up, I wonder what our fellow citizens from Kashmir who left their soul and moved must be going through.” I love it that you're speaking your heart out man. **** the cancel culture and the leftist ecosystem pressure. More power to you and your family! God bless, and #JusticeToKPs — Prateek Chachra (@ThatReactDev) March 13, 2022 Guess, if simply watching a movie can rock people to their core with such a hard-hitting portrayal of what happened, we can only imagine what those who actually witnessed the genocide actually felt like. The audience review is out as fans, who were eagerly waiting to watch Radhe Shyam on the silver screen, have been sharing their reactions on social media. View this post on Instagram Produced by T-Series and UV Creations, the film is set in Europe of the 1970s and revolves around Vikramaditya (played by Prabhas), a Palmist/future teller, who is conflicted between destiny and his love for Prerana (Pooja Hegde). 12. Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor has been around in Bollywood for quite some time now. The actor made his debut way back in 2003 with the film Ken Ghosh's Ishq Vishk along with Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasury. © Netflix The movie was an instant hit and couldn't have been a better launchpad for Shahid, who really stamped his authority in the movies he did throughout the rest of his career. Now, while Shahid even won a bunch of awards for his Bollywood debut for the film including a Filmfare, Stardust, IIFA, and Zee Cine one, there was another actor who thrilled audiences that particular year. The star was none other than super-successful Vikram Vedha actor, Hrithik Roshan, who starred in the sci-fi Bollywood drama Koi… Mil Gaya. © Zee5 As you can remember, Koi… Mil Gaya was one of the biggest hits of the year with Hrithik and Preity Zinta's performances really connecting with the audiences, with the movie even going on to become the Krrish franchise. Moreover, the movie, which was said to be an adaptation to the Hollywood film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, showed Hrithik's tremendous acting ability on the screen. With so many movie-goers loving the movie, Shahid himself went on to watch the film of his Bollywood colleague and he had a very interesting story to tell after watching it. In 2014, Shahid appeared for an interview and opened up on how he found the movie and how he looked up to Hrithik as an actor. © Twitter Shahid, who met Hrithik during the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards press meet in 2004, revealed how he had been riding high on the success of Ishq Vishk when he went on and watched Hrithik's blockbuster film. The actor revealed how he felt depressed after watching the movie. Don't worry, it's not because he didn't like the film but for some other reason altogether. “I remember I had just got myself a sports bike. It wasn’t your first film, it was Koi Mil Gaya. That was the film I saw. I had just debuted and I came on the bike. I kept thinking I am damn cool and just (made my) debut man. But then I saw the film and left in a rickshaw because I felt so depressed about myself as an actor.” Wow! Now, imagine a compliment to Hrithik better than this. On the work front, Shahid will be seen in his upcoming film Jersey alongside Mrunal Thakur. Source: Koimoi View the full article
  13. Ajay Devgn's debut OTT series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness has finally premiered on Disney+Hostar and fans are already binge-watching it. Produced by Applause Entertainment and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, Rudra is the official Hindi remake of Idris Elba's hit BBC series Luther and also features Raashi Khanna and Esha Deol opposite the Golmaal star. Rudra marks Devgn's comeback as a cop on screen after Gangaajal and the Singham series. In the psychological crime drama, the superstar is playing the role of DCP Rudra Veer Singh who is known for catching dreaded killers. However, he is going through a rough patch in his personal life as his relationship with wife (played by Esha Deol) is falling apart. As per MensXP's review, Devgn makes a 'tod-fod' OTT debut in this dark, edgy and gripping thriller. However, if you have watched Luther, the Hindi remake might not interest you much, besides the presence of the Tanhaji star, of course. On social media, Rudra is getting a mixed response. While the majority of social media users have appreciated Ajay Devgn and Raashi Khanna's performances, others just didn't like the final product. View this post on Instagram After watching the series, a user tweeted, "Worth watching & well adapted the original #luther. #AjayDevgn as #Rudra is terrific. #RashiKhanna is a surprise package. I think private screening mein yeh first time standing ovation hua hai. (It’s a really great film. 15. One of the easiest ways to tell whether a picture is from India or not, would be to check for two things - chaos and traffic. As long as there is some sort of a rush in the pictures, whether it is in terms of people crowding in a market or cars crowding on a road to the point that it creates hour-long traffic jams, one could safely assume that it would be an Indian road. However, much to everyone’s surprise, and especially, Anand Mahindra’s, things are changing. © Twitter Recently a Twitter user shared an uncanny and rare picture of a road from one of the Indian cities and guess what? There was not even a single person trying to scoot their vehicle from the sidelines or cross over a red light. I have seen this kind of discipline only in Mizoram. There are no fancy cars, no big egos, no road rage, no honking and no तू जानता नहीं है मेरा बाप कौन है.... no one is in a tearing hurry...there is calm and serenity all around... pic.twitter.com/ZAkXNNcES4 — Sandeep Ahlawat (@SandyAhlawat89) March 1, 2022 User Sandy Ahlawat took to the microblogging site just a few hours ago to share a picture from Mizoram where people were actually following traffic rules, and honestly, more than a rare sight, it was a pleasant one. He wrote in the caption, “I have seen this kind of discipline only in Mizoram. There are no fancy cars, no big egos, no road rage, no honking and no तू जानता नहीं है मेरा बाप कौन है.... no one is in a tearing hurry...there is calm and serenity all around…” I have seen this kind of discipline only in Mizoram. Inspirational, with a strong message: it’s up to US to improve the quality of our lives. Play by the rules… A big shoutout to Mizoram.” With not even a foot out of line, it was indeed something to applaud, for in a country where the population is increasing by the second, to see that people are beginning to resort to the rules is but a great step forward. 16. Rohit Sharma’s video of offering coffee to the cameraman during the second match between India and Sri Lanka has gone viral specifically because of the kind of simplicity shown by the skipper in Dharamshala. However, some of the extreme fans of the Hitman are also using the opportunity to mock Virat Kohli. The Indian cricket team has already won the T20I series against the touring Sri Lankan side after dominating them in the first two out of three matches. Although Sharma could not help his side in their efforts to win the match and got dismissed for just one run in the very first over, one of his moments from the day caught the attention of the fans. Just what you need in the cold Dharamsala weather @ImRo45 pic.twitter.com/xUgz8W9ERR — BCCI (@BCCI) February 26, 2022 The cameraman zoomed into the Indian dressing room, the skipper could be seen standing in the balcony with a cup of hot coffee in his and, sipping on his beverage to counter the cold evenings of the hill station. However, Sharma caught a glimpse of himself on the big screen that’s set in the stadium and stared directly into the camera while offering his drink to the man behind the lens. Never the one to shy away from becoming a high-level entertainer, Sharma was trying to act serious and professional at first but could not resist leaking out a smile a couple of seconds into the gimmick. 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗨𝗣 pic.twitter.com/LLtviy3wxE — Rohit Sharma (@ImRo45) February 22, 2022 It was this simplicity and candidness of Rohit Sharma that got him loads of applause from cricket fans from all over the country. On the other hand, it was also used by the haters of the former Indian captain Virat Kohli, to mock him for missing out on such qualities that Sharma possesses and speculated that it was this quality that was missing from the Indian dressing room before Kohli was replaced as the captain.
