  1. Treading his way to becoming one of the finest footballers of the current generation, France's Kylian Mbappe is shutting down all those who doubted Paris Saint-Germain's ability to play without their leader Neymar Jr., who is out due to a fractured metatarsal and Forward Edinson Cavani, who was ruled unfit to play with a thigh injury earlier in the week. In what was presumed to be a complete massacre of the visiting PSG against a rejuvenated Manchester United, the 20-year-old Frenchman led a team surrounded by scare stories of the season already coming to an end for them. But despite playing on their home ground, it felt as if the Red Devils founds themselves on foreign territory as PSG charged at them with all their might from the start. Dominating the possession of the ball for over 56% of game-time, the Saint-Germain attack slammed United goalkeeper David de Gea with five shots on target. Despite trying his best to keep ManU in the contest, de Gea was unable to prevent the two second-half goals from happening. While Presnel Kimpembe scored on a brilliant volley on the precise corner from Angel Di Maria in the 53rd minute, it was Kylian Mbappe's superhuman sprint before a top-notch finish on a Di Maria assist for the second goal that drew people's attention. Known to have a top-speed of 44.7 kmph (which was recorded during the match between PSG and Lille OSC, Mbappe zoomed past United defenders Eric Bertrand Bailly and Victor Lindelöf and covered a little over 37 yards in less than four seconds for the finish. Twitter instantly showed love towards Mbappe's quickness and the memes began to roll in: #MUNPSG Mbappe is damn fast. 2. Let's talk about sports and grooming going hand in hand for a second. Sports is an intense field and if you engage with it, it leaves you all sweaty and messed up. However, some men know how to clean up well even on the field and even after a long and tiresome match they still look on point. So here is list of Indian sports men that really know their grooming men. 1. Ishant Sharma © Getty Images While Ishant Sharma might have been punished for having long hair in school, he's really turned it around as an adult. His shoulder length mane adds a certain character to his personality. Imagine Ishant Sharma without this hair! Well, we can't either. 2. Virat Kohli © Getty Images Not that Virat Kohli didn't look great before his days with Anushka Sharma, but we feel since she has stepped into his life, he's really understood the importance of grooming, maintaining the perfect hairstyle and a beard style that looks like a million bucks on him. 3. Hardik Pandya © Getty Images Now, we know that he's received a lot of flak recently for his controversial 'Koffee With Karan' comments, however the guy does clean up well. We can't really question that, can we? 4. Sunil Chhetri © Getty Images Apart from being the striker/winger and captains for both the Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC and the Indian national football team, Sunil Chhetri also sports a stunning haircut. 5. Sandesh Jhingan © Getty Images Sandesh Jhingan is the defender for Kerala Blasters FC of the Indian Super League and the Indian football team. He is a good example of showing that even messy hair can look really good if you're comfortable in your skin. 6. K.L.Rahul © MensXP K.L Rahul is another cricketer we wish we got grooming lessons from. His look is very cleverly put together, so it looks effortless and clean.
  3. While modern day romance fails in extremity today, we still cling on to that hope of making everything porous and walk through the nuances of an equation, without giving it much purpose. After the advent of dating apps, the romantic behaviour between two people changed with time and there was definitely a slight curve in how relationships or any sort of romantic dynamic works today. © Instagram The generation that grew up post the 90s has trouble dealing with the likes of patience. Not because they're not inherently patient people, but because patience is no longer a prerequisite that's required to see the eventuality of a fruitful relationship. The 90s was an era without mobile phones, constant meet ups or even chatting. There were no DMs, no texts, but there were humble beginnings, and sleeping and waking up with a solid thought always on one's mind, without knowing what's going on in the other person's mind. Not because you didn't want to know, but because there was no way to find out unless you spoke to them over a wired phone, aka a landline. Obviously we're not in the 90s anymore and couples who're thorough with the philosophies of this generation know just how easy it is to communicate anything at anytime. So, then why aren't relationships malleable and long lasting anymore? Why does no one make much of an effort? Why is it so simple to let go, making boredom and not wanting to work hard a default flag bearer for crumbling relationships? Something to think about, isn't it? © Instagram Well, in a literal needle in the haystack situation, I came across a couple, who'd been acting like they're from the 90s, wherein they were absolutely brand new! They certainly proved me wrong and made me believe that old-school love and lasting relationships aren't always a myth and they dwell in the realms of genuine hardships too, if you try hard enough. Meet Siddhant and Naina. Two people who're individually so comfortable in their skin, they had no qualms about coming together and making their dynamic as stable as breathing. The two are young and in love and have been together for 5 years now, which means they started their journey when they were just 21! Siddhant and Naina set a benchmark for all couples old and new to take relationships a little more seriously, by being grounded and true to their roots and by displaying ample patience and understanding of what it really takes to make a relationship as solid as possible. © Instagram We became "phone friends" in high school but never actually met each other till much later. She was still hung up on her ex and I was in love with someone else and I guess we just found some solace in each other. Not in a romantic way but just in a 'here is this disembodied voice on the other end of the phone and this person is kinda fun to talk to.' Anyway, we lost touch soon after until we finally met again when were both older and the attraction was immediate - Siddhant That's how equations begin most times. You meet someone, you like their energy, you go ahead and speak to them and if your thoughts and ideas form similar semblances, you connect and continue that dynamic further. Both Siddhant and Naina were young and absolute novice to a 'romantic' space and they built it from the scratch to hold on to something at a time where holding on is just passé. They've endured most hardships relationships throw your way, including blood boiling fights, long-distance and understanding how friendship works side-by-side in a dynamic that's becoming stronger each day. © Instagram We are best friends and we connect on every level. And added to that he is the best human being I know. So I think I'd pick our first fight as a memory I can never forget, which was over something ridiculous on our way to watch Inception. We went through the silent treatment and the anger bubbling. That was the moment I realised this human being can also REALLY get on my nerves. - Naina Their First Date Ever They didn't choose a bar or a club or have rendezvous with drinks. I mean, it's believed they would because they belong to the generation where people seek thrill and adventure to get to know a stranger. You know, the inconsequentials of city life. But they didn't want a sense of instant gratification. They did the old school coffee date to get to know each other better and maybe see where their equation went after. We met at a cafe on a roof in Hauz Khas village, had a few beers and ate pizza. We were in this weird place where we were almost too friendly. Nobody was making flirty advances or anything, we were just chatting like old buds. I remember thinking that the cafe was totally empty, why wouldn't he just kiss me and I think when it finally occurred to him it was too late. - Naina © Instagram The imposition of making the overture of any relationship a social extravaganza to fulfil our societal needs and wants in today's day and age rules rather high. No one takes the time out to find out more than they should from the other person. Either it's having a drink or two at the local watering hole, where you and your SO surrounded by friend and acquaintances, or it's meeting each other over a lot of drinks to lower inhibitions. But here we have young guns, who'd established a long lasting equation, with silent promises to make it work as and when, over a cup of coffee! The Best Learnings From A Long-Term Relationship The thing about long term relationships if you start really young and make it till the end is you learn a lot. From yourself as a person and of course from the other person too. You learn early on how to give, how to commit to a moment, how to become absolutely selfless and flawless while dealing with certain obstacles in life. You treasure things that are imperative and you stop mocking patience as an obscure tool. You feel complete. Couples today, who're superfluous with their feelings, or callous with their associations, seldom get a chance to learn the significance of empathy and attachment, while also realising the importance of being an individual. In my relationship with Naina, I've learnt how to be confident, believe in myself, speak my mind, take no shit, be honest, be loyal and learn to accept people and understand where they're coming from. - Siddhant © Instagram We thrive in a hook-up-break-up generation, where *** is not a limited want anymore. Callous flings happen all the time, every time and the word commitment is losing its supposed meaning. While millennials love to experiment in open relationships, polyamory, extra-marital triumphs, flings, casual ***, bisexual curiosity, the entire thread of making a commitment more transparent is wavering off from people's minds. But then we have some couples like Naina and Siddhant who're holding on the very existence of 'love and friendship' and shaping it as a long-term commitment goal, even at 26. This is what we want to retain, in a space where everything is so fragile and intangible, and we really hope more couples aspire to be like them and their easy going, beautiful philosophy of a long-term relationship. © Instagram We completed 5 years together in October last year. Now I'm looking forward to a milestone and he rolls his eyes at me every time I hint at it. We've grown together over and over. He really is my best friend and we have that ability to look at each other as girlfriend and boyfriend but also as human beings/friends. We look out for each other like that. I think how Sid's grown is that he's become more vocal and confident about what he wants, what he loves, what he doesn't love and I think I've become calmer and more level headed because of him. - Naina
  4. We do not live in the same city and yet manage to spend more time together than couples living in the same zip code. We end up flying almost every weekend to see each other, either in Mumbai or Delhi. All other times, we meet directly at the holiday destination (not in the same city to travel together for a holiday, we just land up there separately). In our two-and-a-half-year-old relationship, we would have taken a combined total of at least 150 flights, visited 8 countries and many cities in India just to spend time with each other- Gaurang (c)Instagram While every couple strives the hardest to make a relationship work, there are a few who go an extra mile to make sure their relationship is nothing short of extraordinary. And the couples who usually do that have a tough situation at hand and they certainly work towards the odds, to perceive it as nothing less than spectacular. For us, every relationship does circumvent its way around to make it spectacular. If you've made it long enough and are true to each other, then why shouldn't you brag about it? I mean that, in the most non-cynical banter ever. Today, relationships are moulded out of uncertainty, where a 'right swipe' takes you far away from basic reality of a relationship which should ideally be working on strong will and a lot of determination. And if there are couples making it work through the thick and thin of everything, without using distractions as a tool to temporarily sabotage an equation, then they're definitely worth a mention. (c)Instagram Meet one such couple, who has realised the importance of sticking together, even though they have miles between them, in a generation that thinks working extra-hard on a dynamic is rather redundant and superfluous, with frivolity ruling the roost, of every heart, today. Here's introducing Gaurang and Saachi, who defy that theory fairly often. The two met through a common friend, back in 2011, when they were still in college and when Blackberry phones were the endgame for a lot of couples back then. The first interaction was, of course, exchanging BBM pins. We actually lived through the "BBM age" in 2011. We used to chat for 7-8 hours every day till it got to a point where we risked finger tendonitis. - Gaurang (c)Instagram Favourite Memory So Far Both of them have been bitten by the travel bug and have made their favourite memories together from their indulgences in different places. The first time Saachi proclaimed her feelings for Gaurang was in Goa and when they were spending time together. Right when the sun came out, she looked at Gaurang and asked him if he wanted to go out. Little did Gaurang realise she's asking him out and in his innocent spree, he agreed to go outside to soak up some sun and enjoy some breakfast. (c)Instagram From thereon, their memories were filtered to either ticket cancellations and re-bookings or checking out a new place together or even making travel plans for their next birthdays, Valentine's Day and various relationships milestones. Took me to Prague for my birthday. Flew in to Mumbai to surprise me on Valentine's day, Jodhpur for our 2 years and now we're planning to bring in our birthdays at Scotland and USA respectively, this year, because we need new memories!- Saachi (c)Instagram This Is How You Tackle Distance Both the 'wanderers' have been together for a long while now and have opted through various things in life to stay together. By that I mean, Saachi and Gaurang realised that being physically together in one place, even though their relationship doesn't allow it, is a bare essential and they've done everything in their power to overcome the distance they go through, everyday. Couples living away from each other, making each day count, and not letting suppositions rule their relationship with the obscure distance they have to deal with, are an inspiration in today's day and age and we're glad we can count on them flawlessly to teach us how to strive towards keeping something so fragile, alive. (c)Instagram Gaurang and Saachi going through months of not seeing each other is not just commendable, it's the strongest aspect that builds the fundamentals of their relationship. From dealing with insecurities to earning each other's trust over time, while away from each other, is the strongest reinforcement of belief and love. And believe it or not, their long-distance relationship works from one suitcase to another. They both love travelling and have made that an eventuality in keeping their love alive. (c)Instagram When they decided to date, it was on a trip to Goa they'd taken with a few friends and now, every time they establish a new milestone in their relationship, it's overlooking a new city skyline, amidst local food and an adequate yet brand new start to a very old equation. We decided to date each other on a trip with friends to Goa. Our first date was on the beach drinking wine - Saachi Since then, instead of visiting each other in the city they both reside, they book tickets and explore new cities and spend time together. It helps them regain the moments they've lost in time and travel through different places, making indispensible memories their unbreakable timeline for the future. It was Gaurang's idea initially to make their life a lot more convenient since Saachi had a job that made her shift her base from time to time. The couple first travelled to Jodhpur to spend some quality time together and then made it mandatory to pick a city of their choice to meet at, whenever time allowed them to. Honestly, if long distance relationships worked this way, distance would just be a meagre resolve, as couples would pay more heed to planning the next trip and figuring out an active itinerary rather than brood over how far they are from one another. (c)Instagram She's a consultant and travels every week, so I end up living that lifestyle vicariously. We've met each other at Prague, Portugal, Budapest, Finland, Thailand, Vietnam, USA and Dubai , as far as I can remember - Gaurang Long distance relationships should be listed under survivor tools, because you're diligently doing anything to keep them intact, in order to survive a relationship crash. It's tough for sure but there are many things you learn with this association such as patience, faith, and trust. Gaurang and Saachi have been stuck with a conundrum of following through with long distance and they've been doing a mighty good job of it so far, by travelling away their woes. (c)Instagram There is never a decree of 'heartbreak' between these two, when they leave each other's company to pursue their lives in different cities. Because they know they've tackled the severest relationship downfall and have made it alive, with a lot of sparkle and fun, intact. They have mastered the art of making holiday plans, seeing each other whenever the need arises and saving money diligently to do so successfully, until the day they're married! Honestly, I have been blessed with more than I deserve. - Gaurang (c)Instagram At the end of the day, relationships that are fundamentally stable, can withstand any test they're put through, even the test of time. To end this beautiful story, I can't stress enough on how some couples have to part temporarily on a good note and carry forth their association in different places. I personally admire couples who have immense faith in each other to work through the distance and make every day a reason to point at the map and say 'Let's make this work and have fun while doing so'.

  6. Be it a date night, a red carpet or your regular job, the art of tucking your shirt in should be the one thing that every man knows. With all the new styles emerging and the idea of the one kind of shirt tuck being lost somewhere in between, we are still fans of the old school way. Think of it this way, you do this chore every single day, so why not do it the right way? The Ideal Way To Tuck Your Shirt In The goal of an ideal shirt tuck is to make your torso look flat and smooth. In this case, wrinkles are a big no-no and so is excess showcasing of the dreaded muffin-top. © theartofmanliness A proper tuck should have a clean 'gig line' which is a military term for the line formed straight down your upper body. A properly tucked shirt should sit so that the cloth with the buttons lines up precisely with the fly of your trousers. Your belt buckle and trouser button should ideally be in the same line. © telegraph uk One must also know when to tuck in their shirt as there's more than one kind tuck out there. They all depend on what kind of shirt you're wearing, the occasion, comfort and more. Here are a few types of tucks you can experiment with and nail the perfect tuck every single time: The Loose Tuck © Wikihow Loose tucking is the most basic method of tucking and one that every man knows. This is the easiest and the quickest method to tuck in your shirt. Method: Simply tuck your shirt's loose ends into the waistband of your trousers and then fasten your zip and buttons. Use your favourite belt to accessorize and you're good to go. The Underwear Tuck © thedistilledman The name of the method might suggest differently but this does not involve tucking your shirt into your underpants. Don't do that under any circumstances. This is a layered tucking method for when there's an undershirt involved. Method: In an attempt to get a creaseless finish, tuck your undershirt inside your underwear. Then tuck your shirt in the way you normally would. This should put an end to all the extra fabric bulging at your waistband. The Military Tuck © theartofmanliness.com Used by the armed forces, the military tuck is a foolproof shirt-tucking method. When the fabric of your shirt begins to bulge out of the waistband, wrinkled and unruly, it doesn't make a good impression. This method cancels out that problem and will give you a perfectly in place tuck all day. Method: Follow the same procedure as the loose tuck but run your thumbs around the front to the sides of your waistband before buttoning up, smoothening any creases. Pinching the fabric at each side and folding it back on itself will create the ideal fit. Tucking is such a simple step but it can impact your whole look. Ensuring the best fit possible to your clothing is in your hands now. Quite literally. Cheers!
  7. Ever since joining the Reds from Roma in 2017, Mohamed Salah has become an integral part of Jurgen Klopp's rampant Liverpool brigade. Arriving at the Anfield for 50 million euros, the Egyptian footballer justified his price tag with a sensational run last season. With 30 goals to his name, Salah was awarded the Golden Boot and was eventually named PFA Players' Player of the Year in the 2017/18 season. Thanks to his dribbling skills, speed and ball control, Salah raked in goal after goal and played a crucial role in propelling Liverpool to the Champions League final last year. His goal-scoring might have come down a notch this season, but Salah continues to be a key ingredient in the Reds' charge for the title. ð @MoSalah in the @premierleague: ð 72 Games â½ 50 Goals A different class. ð pic.twitter.com/bdx4nomLkb — Liverpool FC (@LFC) January 20, 2019 But, for a man who is loved and cherished by Liverpool fans as much as he is back home in Egypt, Salah shocked everyone after going offline on the social media recently. The 26-year-old, who enjoys a great fan-following, appeared to have deleted all of his social media accounts where his followers numbered in the millions. The Egyptian's Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts went offline without warning a day after he posted a cryptic tweet. "2019 Resolution: Time to get in touch, for real," read the final tweet of the Premier League footballer which was later shared widely on the social media platforms. When people tried to go through his Twitter account, they could only see the message: "Sorry, that page doesn't exist!". On Instagram, it said: "The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed". The story was pretty much the same on Facebook. While it's still not clear whether the shutdowns were deliberate or not, and what exactly provoked the Liverpool forward to go offline. Some believe that Salah deleted his accounts owing to a dispute he has had with the Egyptian Football Association over his image rights. Others the footballer's trail and saw it as a possible New Year's resolution. But, despite all the speculation, Salah's sudden disappearance from the social media can also be looked upon as one of the best moves to raise awareness for the real-life communications. In the modern world, everything is digital - sharing information, knowledge and even building relationships. While it allowed us to reach larger masses, it also killed our need for human interactions - something Salah is probably trying to convey here. Irrespective of the reason, the latest antics of the Egyptian footballer undoubtedly left the fans baffled. Like it. Get away from social media and win a title. — Stephen Haw (@Ste_Haw) January 23, 2019 Excellent work and tough decision — saad lazrak (@saadoun039) January 23, 2019 Focusing on football only. 8. I'll start my story with a small poem on my fitness journey. From losing weight being the only goal, To the time when goals became limitless. From getting fit being a necessity, To getting fit being the choice. From the time that every little change made me happy, To the time that every change became little. From painful heavy workouts, To how those workouts became a warmup! Less Self Esteem In College It all started in the second semester of my College, where my overweight body used to haunt my confidence every single day. Apparently, after getting teased by a lot of so-called friends, one day, I finally decided to join the gym in my hostel. For 1st and 2nd year students, the gym remained open only in the morning slot, which was from 5:30 am to 8:30 am. Waking up early morning and getting ready for the gym was the most difficult challenge of my life at that time. For that, I used to get up at 5 am in the morning and slogged myself to the gym. This slogging to the gym continued for a month but surprisingly, this habit resulted in the best change in my life. When I got hold of my mornings, my half job was done. Poor Cardio Life Initially, I was guided as cardio being the only way to lose weight. Without any further instructions, I slogged on the treadmill continuously for countless hours. This definitely made me thinner, but I also started to look weak. This was never what I wanted. Later, after watching some YouTube videos and following some great fitness industry influencers, I got aware of the importance of resistance/weight training in preserving muscle and losing weight simultaneously! Turning Point My discovery of weight training as being the catalyst to preserve muscles turned out to be the turning point of my journey. Without any further delay, I started weight training. However, my schedule was not optimal. I tried the following workout splits: 1. Mix workouts 2. Single body part a day 3. Crazy pump workouts 4. Lightweight, high repetition work Real Progress However, the real progress was evident when I started lifting heavy weights with proper form. Squats and Deadlifts were the exercises which made me strong and increased my strength. With proper progression scheme, I was able to lift 200 kg of weight on Deadlift. My Squat strength also rose quickly and I was able to lift 150 kg on them. The changes which I made to my Training Program were majorly shifting from training a muscle once per week to twice a week. Supplements Used As I wasn't getting a lot of protein in my diet, I had to include supplements like Protein Powder and a Pre-workout one. Supplements don't mean anything unless and until you aren't ready to put in hard work and commitment towards the goal. My Final Lesson & Outcome With the help of proper nutrition support, training guidance and sleep, I was able to reach my goal of losing fat and getting muscular and in 3 years. I lost 34 kgs and got down to 76 kgs from 110kgs. People will always be there trying to bring you down and break you, but in the end, all that matters is how much you are ready to put in for yourself.
  9. Back in 2013, Shikhar Dhawan stunned all the spectators and commentators when he stroked his way to the fastest Test hundred by a debutant. Prior to that, the Delhi cricketer had spent eight years in the first-class cricket, patiently waiting for an opportunity to make his mark. For a man who was written off by almost everyone to get a national call-up, Dhawan has surely come a long way to become one of India's preferred openers across formats. Today, in partnership with Rohit Sharma, Dhawan has earned the tag of one of the most feared opening pair in limited-overs cricket. © Twitter From flaying those exquisite cover drives to effortlessly pulling the bowlers for a six, Dhawan has established himself as a pivotal member of the new-age Indian line-up. His batting prowess was in full display during the T20I series in Australia where his consistent performances also earned him the 'Man of the Series' honour. Carrying his blistering form to New Zealand, the 33-year-old was seen playing his shots with relative ease during India's chase of 157 runs at the McLean Park in Napier. The Indian opener continued his fine run, bringing up his 26th ODI fifty in the 23rd over. And, en route his half-century, Dhawan also added another feather to his cap as he reached 5,000 runs in the 50-over format. © Twitter In the process, Dhawan became the second fastest Indian to achieve the milestone. The Indian batsman took 118 innings to bring up his 5,000 ODI runs, beating Sourav Ganguly who took 126 innings to get there. Dhawan is also levelled with West Indian legend Brian Lara who also reached his 5,000 ODI runs in 118 innings. ð¨ MILESTONE ALERT ð¨ Shikhar Dhawan becomes the second fastest Indian to 5,000 ODI runs in the first ODI against New Zealand.#NZvIND LIVE ð https://t.co/Wslkq5ocbd pic.twitter.com/p7nNkSsNoz — ICC (@ICC) January 23, 2019 While Virat Kohli continues to be the fastest Indian to the 5000-run mark as he achieved the feat in 114 innings, Hashim Amla leads the overall list as he took just 101 innings to reach the milestone. At the time of writing this article, India were cruising in their run-chase at 123/1 in 26 overs with Dhawan (60) and Kohli (41) forging a partnership out in the middle.
  10. A movie trailer comes out, people on Twitter make memes on it - you know the drill. There is absolutely nothing that can escape from getting memed and when it comes to a movie like 'Total Dhamaal', you know it's begging to become the next big meme. So, of course, like always, Twitter did not disappoint, not that we ever doubted that. The trailer came out yesterday and it's still the top trending video on YouTube. Guess people really love these movies. But, it was trending on Twitter for another reason as well. As soon as the trailer was out, so were the hilarious reactions on it. The movie has possibly one of the biggest ensemble cast in recent times that includes Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever and the original cast including Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Riteish Deshmukh. While the huge star cast was enough to create excitement, it also gave room to a lot of people to make memes on and everyone took advantage of that. 11. There is something about wearing formals that makes you stand out in the crowd. The suit places you in a superior position in the power dynamics in meetings. The blazer makes you look smart, spiffy and suave all at once. There is no denying that the suit is also extremely sexy when worn to a date. However, a suit can't be worn as often as we may like it. Not all settings present themselves as deserving for a formal suit. In these scenarios wearing a suit comes across as over-dressed and odd. However, that doesn't mean you ditch the magnificent blazer completely. There are ways you can wear the blazer without making it look too formal. 1. Ditch pants for a pair of jeans whose shade matches your blazer. This creates the illusion of a two piece without being one. If it's a chilled out lunch meeting client, you could even pair it with cool sneakers. © Instagram 2. Try pairing chinos with blazers. While chinos are usually associated with a more casual setting, add a blazer and voila! It's work ready. © Instagram 3. In winters, pair your blazer with a hoodie underneath. It gives uber cool vibe and looks great. Exhibit A. © Instagram 4. Another quirky option is adding graphic tees in the outfit. Add a funky graphic tee underneath your hoodie like this: © Instagram 5. A kurta under a blazer looks like a pair that won't work but look at Vir Das and Ayushmann work it, and we bet you'll want to try it too. You could experiment with both short kurtas and long ones. With long ones, make sure the shade matches that of the blazer. © Instagram © Instagram 6. A turtleneck under a blazer is a classic. It makes men look adorable. Rajkummar Rao is one person who can really pull it off. © Instagram So you now know that you don't have to be Mr. Overdressed for your love for the blazer. In fact, you'll be inspiring people with your #OOTDs.
  12. A powerful performance by Australian hitter Shaun Marsh helped his team establish a sturdy total of 298 runs to give a tough battle to the Men in Blue in the second ODI at the Adelaide Oval today. Compared to the first ODI, India's opening batsmen Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan gave their team a much required partnership. Although, not very impressive when it comes runs, the Dhawan-Sharma combo did provide a sense of stability to the batting order on which Virat Kohli later capitalised. ð¯ð#KingKohli brings up his 39th ODI century ðð#AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/pDPx1vXMtH — BCCI (@BCCI) January 15, 2019 Despite the attacks put up by bowlers like Jason Behrendorff and Glenn Maxwell, Indian skipper Virat Kohli was not only able to control the pace of the game with his bat but was also able to score his 39th career ODI century, now just ten less than master blaster Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI tons. However, the cream of the cake on India's victory was the evergreen former captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni whose versatility as a player enabled him to become whatever the team required him to be during the various stages of the match. Take, for instance, the time when Kohli was setting the tone for the game, Dhoni was able to stay on the pitch in order to prevent the rapid falling of wickets and tried to give Kohli as many deliveries as he could, in order to get his ton and get them closer to the target. And when Kohli was dismissed by Glenn Maxwell off Jhye Richardson, Dhoni, along with Dinesh Kartik, successfully took the responsibility of becoming the scorer and bringing in the win for his team in order to tie the three-game ODI series at one win apiece. A last over thriller in Adelaide. #TeamIndia clinch the 2nd ODI by 6 wickets courtesy winning touches from @imVkohli @msdhoni & @DineshKarthik. 1-1 ð®ð³ð®ð³ #AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/aMI0q5Bhaj — BCCI (@BCCI) January 15, 2019 What's rather special about this game was the way in which Dhoni led the squad to victory. Just like nearly a decade ago, when a young MS Dhoni, with his long hair, would have ended the game by sending the ball flying into the spectators for a six, the present-day Dhoni did the same. Sending one over the long-on boundary on Behrendorff's first ball of the final over, Dhoni tied the game and also brought up his 69th half-century. He then took a single on the next ball to win it all for India. With a lot of people blaming the batsman for the first ODI loss and the notion of him not being a part and being replaced by the young and dynamic Rishabh Pant in the World Cup roster, Dhoni's game-winning play is a befitting response. This is classic Dhoni who doesn't react to hate and criticism with his mouth, but lets his bat do the talking. Here's what India had to say: Picture abhi baaki hai mere Dost ! 13. The 'ABCD' franchise, which is Bollywood's own version of the 'Step Up' movies, is coming back with its third instalment. The makers mean some serious business with this one, as one of the hottest and most fabulous dancers in show business, Nora Fatehi has been signed up for a pivotal role opposite Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. The movie is hitting floors and is yet to have a release date. Nora is a super fine dancer and was last seen dancing to 'Kamariya' from 'Stree'. This will be one interesting movie to look out for.
  14. I began my fitness journey from the very start of January 2017, when I decided to finally be stubborn and strong-willed about my New Year resolution of becoming a fitter version of myself. Set A Goal, Be It Whatever Actually, truth be told, it was not initially about fitness but it was more about trying to look better and improve my appearance and the goals were in all honesty, quite cosmetically-inclined. I had always wanted to have a 6-pack as a kid and the desire to get it was on my bucket list. I wondered if an ordinary person like me could ever achieve the same. So, that was my motivation, to at least try and achieve a physique that Instagram fitness models have. I did not have any major health issues as such, but I would admit that I did fall prey to body image issues about the way I would look. Most people are not entirely proud of the way they look and given a chance would always want to get rid of their pot-bellies, they would like to get rid of their double-chin, and their paunch, and the list is endless and I sadly too was one of these people. Enough Of Lethargy There was always this sense of weakness that existed; the unavoidable consequence of the inactive life that I led. I could barely run a flight of stairs without gasping for air uncontrollably and I barely had the endurance and willingness to even walk short distances. Work, Stress And Poor Eating Even while working as an auditor, an occupation which involved a lot of non-stop travelling, I would think it would be fair to describe my lifestyle as sedentary, as almost 15 hours of my day was spent sitting on a chair. My poor eating habits were quite disorderly as well. I would binge on anything I would see. This food would basically comprise of junk, ranging from the unhealthiest road-side noodles to oily deep-fried samosas and puris with aloo sabji and of course, the entire index of junk food. Steering Things Around So I decided to follow my brother, who is a highly sought-after fitness coach in Kolkata. What set him apart from most trainers in our area was how he focused on the scientific aspect of entire process instead of just simply following a rigid rule of thumb approach. His methodology was remarkably different. It was incredibly important for me to focus on nutrition and that's exactly what he made me do. He made it very clear that no matter what I do inside the gym wouldn't matter if my eating habits weren't fixed. Here is where I learned the concept of energy balance and ensured that there was no extreme method that was resorted to in order to reach my goals. The Basics Of Nutrition To lose weight, one has to put their bodies in a prolonged calorie deficit; it is where you decide to willingly put your body in a state where it expends more energy (as performing any kind of activity would involve) than its energy intake (food). So before talking about my training, it is to be made unreservedly clear that 90% of my focus and mental energy was invested in proper dieting. Workouts My workouts would take no longer than an hour to complete if done properly. It was a simple workout chart that allowed me to train two body parts a day for 6 days a week consistently, followed by a 10-minute cardio session after the weight training routine. Again, I would like to add, there was no strict diet chart that I was told to follow. I was simply asked to use an online calculator that allowed you to estimate what my daily calorie intake would be to maintain my weight and then decide to eat foods that would ensure I end up in a calorie deficit. Stop Demonizing Foods No food is an absolute no-no in my scientifically informed opinion. It is very irrational to demonize a certain food and say that this is healthy and that is not. It is okay to have whatever you want as long as you maintain a calorie deficit. Keep This In Mind A lot of people will tell you how it is impossible to achieve the physique that you want, but remember, I have faced that as well and as overly clichéd as this may end up sounding, you are capable of much more than you can imagine. You can have the dream physique of your life and you are the only one who can get you there.
  15. Barbell Shrugs is an exercise that is generally performed with either the back workout or shoulder workout. People who have well-built traps often swear by barbell shrugs to isolate trapezius muscles for best muscle activation. Let's get to know more about the exercise to help you maximize your trap gains and also find out what are the cautions to be kept in mind while performing this exercise and what are the best alternatives. How To Perform © Pinterest You can perform barbell shrug either in the squat rack or with a free barbell. To perform barbell squat with accurate technique, hang the barbell in front of your body and take the arm grip of shoulder width apart. Your elbows should be completely locked out so that you are not cheating the weight by using too much of your forearm strength. Now pull the loaded barbell upwards while squeezing your shoulders upwards. Keep the contraction for a moment and then slowly lower the weight. Muscle Engagement © Thinkstock Images Though a barbell shrug is performed for isolating the trapezius muscles, it also works simultaneously on your rhomboids as well. Trapezius muscles or as they are commonly known as traps is a muscle that runs down from the upper region of the spinal cord to the middle and the lower back. The role of this muscle is to draw the shoulder blades together and help you to pull them down. On the other hand, the rhomboids major and minor which are also activated by this exercise help your body to connect the shoulders with the spinal columns. Barbell shrugs also activate secondary muscles like biceps, serratus anterior, oblique and abs. Caution While Performing Shrugs © YouTube You will see a lot of guys ego-lifting while performing barbell shrugs. The reason behind this is that generally people don't know how to activate their traps and try to use their forearm strength to pull the weight. Some people rotate their shoulders front and back believing that they are activating their traps better. It won't be incorrect to say that our 'desi' gym trainers are to be blamed for that, as they seem to have their own way of activating traps muscle. Wrist should also be kept neutral to avoid any injuries as suggested by the guidelines of American Council on Exercise. Alternatives One of the alternatives to perform shrugs is to use dumbbell instead of barbell. Position your hands with a pair of dumbbells in the same way in front of your body like you hold the barbell while doing barbell shrugs. Keeping your elbows straightened out, lift your shoulders upwards towards your ears to feel the contraction in your traps. Another alternative to hit your traps from a different angle is to do a barbell shrugs from behind the back. To perform this movement you need to hold the barbell from behind with an overhand grip. You will have to flex your elbows slightly as while performing this movement the bar will be just above your glutes. Squeeze your shoulders upwards in the same way and activate your traps and rhomboids from a different angle. 16. There is absolutely no doubt that 2018 belonged to Netflix. With series like 'Ghoul', 'Sacred Games', 'Lust Stories', 'To All The Boys I Have Loved Before', '13 Reasons Why' and recently released 'Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle', Netflix not only took care of our entertainment, but also gave us talents that were until now kept hidden from us. To sum up the amazing year that went by, Baloo aka Anil Kapoor turns into a rapper and takes us through all the hilarious and epic moments that Netflix India gave us. The video also features Jatin Sarna aka Bunty from 'Sacred Games', Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vicky Kaushal and Radhika Apte. Netflix India Also, you just cannot miss Anil Kapoor dancing and throwing letters in the air pretending to be like Lara Jean, during the segment of 'To All The Boys I Have Loved Before'. Netflix India This video is also a compilation of all the comments that people like left on Netflix's social media and it was funny to see Anil Kapoor taking a dig at himself by calling himself "Baal ki dukaan as Baloo, great casting." In a nutshell, the year 2018 taught us a lot of things - "Sab marenge, sirf Trivedi bachega", there's a not-so-classic connection between 'taboot' and India Gate that only Nawazuddin can explain, "Kabhi Kabhi lagta apun hi Bhagwan hai" is one dialogue we didn't know we needed, Vicky Kaushal is a powerhouse of talent and Radhika Apte is omnipresent. Netflix India Also, Netflix India will never stop making amazing content for us to binge-watch.
  17. Staying alone at home or away from parents is quite a common thing these days. But, back in the day when we were kids, even the thought of staying alone gave us the creeps. But, thanks to an 8-year-old kid named Kevin McCallister, the thought of staying alone gave us an adrenaline rush more than jitters. He was one of the first few kids who single-handedly dealt with burglars in the most badass way possible, especially in a time when there were pagers and landlines with terrible service in the name of technology. Yes, we're talking about Kevin McCallister from 'Home Alone' and what better time can there be than Christmas to talk about the movie. But, that's not why we're talking about him. © YouTube The reason is Macaulay Culkin, who is back in action and recreated some of the funny scenes from 'Home Alone' after 28 years for a Google ad. He relives the same experiences and shows us how it feels living alone in the company of Google Assistant. Thanks to the campaign, Macaulay relived his Kevin McCallister days in the most millennial way possible.
  18. 'Black Mirror' is one of the best shows to have ever existed and I'm not even exaggerating. It's so brilliant and every episode is so well-made and very memorable. All the fans of the show always get a great Christmas present a few days after 25th in the form of new 'Black Mirror' episodes every year and it seems like we won't be disappointed this year as well. Just last week, I was looking up the season 5 release date and finally got an answer today. Netflix is finally giving up something related to the new season and the excitement is at an all-time high. There's one problem though, as instead of an entire season, we might just be getting one Black Mirror Netflix Original movie called 'Bandersnatch', at least according to the easter egg on Netflix right now. If you search for 'Black Mirror' on the site right now, the results look something like this - © Netflix I like how they used 'Be right back' instead of 'Coming soon' because the first one is the title of an old episode. We see you, 'Black Mirror', we see you. Just a week till 28th - the tentative release date - and we'll know for sure what all we're getting and what the episode will be about. It's not yet clear if it will be a standalone episode like 'White Christmas' or a part of the fifth season and include the 'choose your own adventure' narrative. Upon closer look, it's titled as 'A Netflix Film: Black Mirror - Bandersnatch' With the image consisting of other Black Mirror episodes, is this a feature film? 19. Ranveer Singh's wild sartorial adventures are back on. Clearly, Deepika Padukone isn't trying to hold him back (why would she, anyway though?) Ranveer just stepped out wearing a full-on tiger print jacket, the likes of which you only get to see on ramps. © Bottega Veneta Clearly, the jacket is savage enough for him to outwit KJo in his famous 'Toodles' fashion banter on the IGT set. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Karan Johar (@karanjohar) on Dec 19, 2018 at 3:55am PST Now, as soon as we lay our eyes on the jacket, it becomes clear that it's a special number. It's a Zebra printed (even though Ranveer prefers calling it Tiger print) jacket made of corduroy, from the house of Bottega Veneta. © Bottega Veneta Now, we all have seen how Ranveer paired it with a bunch of chains, Bappi-da style, and that's probably is the reason why he called it a 'Tiger Bappi' jacket. However, we have another theory. We can call it that because it costs 3,065 US Dollars, which when translated to INR, comes to about 2.14 Lakhs. Yes, you read that right. You can get some sizable gold jewellery for that money. If that's not channelling one's inner Bappi Lahiri in more ways than one, we don't know what is. © Bottega Veneta We love the shearling intarsia collar along with the workwear-inspired silhouette, and if anyone in B-Town can pull it off effortlessly, it's Ranveer. Keep the madness alive, Baba.
  20. Mobile gaming has taken a serious turn ever since Indians started playing the mobile version of PUBG as a religion. The game can work on various smartphones that have a good GPU, enough RAM and a good processor. Having said that, smartphones generally tend to heat up real quick which has made companies introducing new cooling solutions. © ASUS Even though mobile gaming can't match up to the same quality delivered on consoles and PCs, however, ASUS may have just built a smartphone that might bridge the gap. Smartphones don't have dedicated powerful GPUs to deliver high-quality graphics, but smartphones can be innovative enough to deliver a good gaming experience. The ASUS ROG phone retails in India for Rs 69,990 (8GB+128GB) which is a bit expensive for a gaming smartphone, so let's find out if it's worth the price tag. Design & Display © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla If you've ever seen an ASUS ROG laptop, you can instantly recognise it for its design. The same can be said for the ASUS ROG phone where it has sharp cuts, a sweet multicolour light-up logo on the back, massive vents to prevent overheating and a look that resembles some sort of an alien warship. It's cool to see ASUS incorporate a similar design like its gaming laptops, but the key notable difference is its metal body. Gaming laptops generally have plastic bodies as it does not conduct heat as quickly. As the smartphone has a metal unibody design, it comes with an additional accessory out of the box that aides in cooling down the phone. The accessory is called the AeroActive Cooler and it has a fan and an audio jack that is powered by the extra USB-C port on the side of the phone. What's ingenious about this design is the fact that no wires come in the way and interrupt your gaming experience. To make it easier for users to game, the smartphone has squeezable and tappable sides for customisable phone functions. You can map these functions for specific game functions and the mappable Air Triggers are great for first-person shooters. Overall, the ASUS ROG phone has all the answers for woes most smartphone gamers face. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla This is where things get interesting as the ROG phone has a 6-inch OLED display that has has a resolution of FHD+ (2160 x 1080 px). It even has support for HDR content and a 90Hz refresh rate. That's the best display you can get on any gadget (including monitors) and the refresh rate is the added bonus for gamers. The refresh rate reduces the response time drastically which is crucial in games like PUBG. You can even customise the display according to your own liking. The colour reproduction is decent and you can even switch to modes such as Standard and Splendid. You even have the ability to tweak the saturation and hues according to your own liking. Performance The ASUS ROG smartphone has specs under the hood you would expect from a flagship smartphone. It as Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at 2.96 GHz (the fastest speed-binned 845 SoC) and is coupled with 8GB of RAM. In terms of internal storage, the smartphone comes in one configuration for India i.e. 128GB.To back up these components, the ASUS ROG phone has a 4,000 mAh battery which is enough for mobile gaming and daily usage. The phone performed well during the course of our review as it could easily handle day-to-day tasks and we didn't come across any glitches of OS flaws. There have been reports of the ASUS ROG phone's OS acting up, but we thank the gods that our review unit was flawless. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Since this is a gaming phone, we had to check out its capabilities while playing PUBG Mobile. Even without enabling the dedicated gaming mode, the game performed without any frame rate drops or app crashes. Having said that, if you want the optimum experience with a little boost, we would recommend you switch on the X mode. The 90Hz refresh rate on the display did give us a slight advantage over our enemies as the game felt much smoother as compared to playing it on other flagship smartphones. When playing games on smartphones, battery life is one of the most important features to consider. During our gaming session, PUBG Mobile did not consume a lot of battery thanks to the massive 4,000 mAh battery. We even used the secondary USB-C port to use the Aeroactive cooler accessory that would cool the device when it would heat up while playing games. The cooling fan, in turn, improves battery life as it keeps the battery cool and as a result gives you more juice for gaming. Accessories © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Apart from the Air Triggers and Aeroactive cooler, ASUS has also launched a few accessories that can enhance your gaming experience. We didn't really get to test these features at length so we can only tell what they can do. These include TwinView Dock for dual-screen handheld mode (works like Nintendo 3DS), a Mobile Desktop Dock for desktop-style gaming and a Gamevice controller. The Final Say Even though gaming smartphones are becoming a rage in India, buyers are still a bit price sensitive when it comes to buying gadgets. The ASUS ROG phone has all the bells and whistles you can expect from a flagship phone along with the added feature of phenomena gaming. Having said that, if you look at the smartphone from a buyer's perspective, it's not really a feasible smartphone if you're on a budget. Costing Rs 69,990, your an always buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro for the same price and get cheaper accessories for a good gaming experience. I absolutely love this smartphone to the core as it appeals to the gamer in me, however, it's something only an enthusiast would buy.
  21. 2018 will probably forever etched in history as the year of Big Fat Indian Weddings, and rightfully so. It started off with 'Sonam ki Shaadi', and from then onwards, things have only got grander and crazier. Never before has the world seen such eccentricity in weddings, except of course, you count the legendary royal weddings from the pages of history. Things have been so extra, we can conclusively conclude that MET Gala has got nothing on our weddings. Here are 6 moments that prove that: 1. Ranveer Singh wore an outfit that, wait for it, glows in the dark. The Manish Arora outfit, composed of fluorescent pink and blue, and an array of bright colours, was as statement as statement pieces go, and screamed 'Ranveer'. That was one hell of a party outfit, we must say. © Instagram/Ranveersingh © Instagram/Ranveersingh 2. Sonam Kapoor wore a lehenga to Isha Ambani's wedding that had her own name embroidered on it. Extra? You decide! © Instagram/sonamkapoor © Instagram/sonamkapoor 3. Priyanka Chopra's wedding veil was 75 feet in length. Yes, you read that right. © Instagram/priyankachopra © IANS 4. Did you see the Bachchan's neck pieces at the Ambani wedding? We'll just leave these images here. © Instagram/Shwetabachchan © Instagram/Shwetabachchan 5. Isha Ambani's lehenga was designed by Valentino. Yes, you have just read Valentino and Lehenga in the same sentence. © IANS © IANS 6. Ranveer and Deepika's Mumbai reception outfits legit gave MET Gala looks a run for their money. Just look at Deepika's train! © Instagram/Ranveersingh © Instagram/Ranveersingh All we can say is we love extra and it has been delivered.
  22. We owe everything to Robert Downey Jr. No, seriously. Do you remember a time where we went without like at least two spectacular superhero movies in a year? Me neither, all thanks to Marvel and DC. It's really hard to imagine not getting kickass movies with our favourite characters everywhere and we all know who we have to thank for that, even our very own Aquaman, Jason Momoa knows. During an interview with The Toronto Sun, Jason gave the credit where it's due when he was asked about why it took so long for a mainstream solo 'Aquaman' movie to happen. Yeah, we have had Batman and Superman for ages and even the interviewer pointed it out. But Jason gave all the credit to the one character who gave birth to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Iron Man. He said, “The only thing about it now is, people want more. They've heard those other stories, and there's plenty more to tell, but they want new ones. When Batman v Superman came out and it introduced Wonder Woman, she came in and blew it open. I feel like Marvel, in its own right, has been blowing the door open with other new characters as well. I mean look what Iron Man did. That was amazing. Who knew what the hell Iron Man did? I definitely didn't. I feel like I knew more about Aquaman, and I barely knew anything about Aquaman over Iron Man (laughs). Robert Downey just came in and destroyed it. So there are all these beautiful, modern mythologies that people get inspired by and it's nice to see something different.” We all love Batman and we still do, but come on, we need more heroes, and Marvel and DC have been delivering that for so long now and the audience is loving it. It's hard to believe now but before 2008, Iron Man was not even a mainstream superhero and now it's a household name. Comic book movies have come a long way and it all can be kind of traced back to RDJ since he's the one who brought the character out of the minor leagues. What Iron Man did for Marvel ten years ago, that's what Wonder Woman did for DC. As Jason said, she came in and blew it open!
  23. Have you ever been on a journey without plugging your earphones in or turning your car stereo up to the maximum? Have you ever had a moment where your feet just start tapping to the rhythm of a song when you visited a local cafe, bar or restaurant? We all have! I am sure my questions will help you re-live those select experiences that left a resounding mark on your soul. Such is the magic of music and the very pulse of it that intensifies even more while on the go, as it seeps through and makes one lose themselves in the surroundings. Nobody can understand this better than bikers, who are modern nomads thriving on their love for adventure and seeking a quintessential wisdom through their journeys. Bikes and music fit like puzzle pieces and is therefore the chosen expression of rebels and game-changers since the 50s. Across the world, the trend didn't take much time to catch up, given that we all felt hypnotized with the edginess that the biking culture offers. There are some songs that complement the thrill of the road. From Steppenwolfe's 'Born to be wild' to Roger McGuinn's 'Easy Rider' to Jim Morrison's 'Riders on the storm', every song identifies the adventurous attitude of non-conformist bikers. There are many Bollywood songs too which are centred around travel and biking. It's a fact that music can either make or break your mood and if done right, it leaves you with a thirst for the unchartered territory. When we talk about biking, it is not just adventure that brings bikers closer, it is also about catching just a fleeting glimpse of what is beyond the horizon. Every biker swears by the thrill of unraveling the unknown, a road that brings them together and the ecstasy of blood pumping through their veins. So how about a platform for them to come together, connect and share their unique moments on the road with one another? A live music festival for bike riders is what exactly is on offer to fulfil this demand. The amount of passion shown by bikers last year at the Riders Music Festival sealed the deal and this year we are back with a bang. To be able to let out, relax, have some delicious food and listen to your favourite musicians and showcase your passion through breath-taking stunts, will make for a wholesome experience. There has been an upsurge of live music in India and today, people are increasingly showing interest in the joy that comes with attending live gigs. We all know that no road trip is done right without a ready playlist, a bunch of crazy friends and songs that bring the past to life and weave your future. Today, it has become extremely popular to travel in order to attend renowned music festivals in different parts of the world. People cherish these experiences for a life-time! A country like India which is vibrant and rich in a myriad of beautiful locations - the heritage, people and their culture needs to be cherished more often. As bikers criss-cross this enchanting land across places like Manali, Spiti, Leh-Ladakh and Srinagar, touring the deserts of Osian, exploring the foothills of Himalayas, as they go along. They take a part of this diversified culture with them, establishing unity and oneness amongst fellow aficionados. The biking community has also created awareness for various issues like drug abuse, organ donation, HIV, road safety, child abuse and much more through their motorbike rallies. Through Riders Music Festival, we too want to promote road safety and also make sure that such a bonding of oneness continues to flourish as we nurture it through our mutual love for music. This year RMF showcases a perfect line-up of contemporary musicians with different genres of music. From Nucleya's electronic numbers, Lucky Ali's husky Bollywood charm to Mame Khan's folk music, it's going to be a blast! Adding jazz to the line -up, we have Shirley Setia's filmy vocals with Divine's new-age rapping and a heavy dose of comedy with Bhuvan Bam. Strategically placed as the weekender before Christmas amidst Delhi's winter, RMF will bring the best of everything! From superbikes to custom bikes, fine dining restaurants to Delhi's lip smacking street food, there will be a confluence of music that is unparalleled. So, get ready to rock and roll and also watch some wheelies being popped by stuntmen on 22nd and 23rd of December at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. I hope you wheelie like it! 24. You know him! You love him! You wish to be him. Yes, it is the evergreen heartthrob and movie star Brad Pitt; the handsome American hunk with an unrivalled screen presence and stellar acting talent. © Pinterest Over the years, we have seen him in various avatars: Kicking butt (pun intended) as Achilles in 'Troy'. © Warner Bros. Pictures As a spy, Mr. Smith, with ex-wife, the beautiful Angelina Jolie in 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' © 20th Century Fox As the Fight Club founder, soap salesman Tyler Durden in 'Fight Club'. © 20th Century Fox We met him as Joe in 'Meet Joe Black'. © Universal Pictures We are all set to see him as Cliff Booth in the upcoming movie, 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' with another screen scorcher, the good-looking Leonardo DiCaprio. © Sony Pictures Releasing Another thing about Brad is that he is (and has been) quite the ladies' man and has garnered quite the reputation for it; well, with a face like that how can one not be infatuated with him? He has had a string of (mostly successful?) relationships with the most beautiful and sexiest women in the world; ranging from Jennifer Aniston to Gwyneth Paltrow to Angelina Jolie. He has had his share of controversies as well; remember his very public divorce to America's sweetheart, Jennifer Aniston? Or his doomed engagement to Gwyneth? Or his more recent divorce to Angelina Jolie (the person he left Aniston for. Karma?)? © Pinterest Say whatever you want, but Brad seems to be quite the boyfriend when he is in a relationship; all his relationships have lasted more than a couple of years and he seems to be completely smitten with the person he dates at that particular time (before 2005's JolieGate Fiasco that is). © Wikipedia Interestingly, there is a particular facet in his personality, that has been there in the public eye for quite some time, but no one seems to have noticed it till now. via GIPHY Thanks to Sarah McGonagall on Twitter, we were made aware of this fact, a fact we had been completely and blissfully unaware of. Do you see it? © Twitter Look at his hair. Now, look at Jolie's hair. See something? Yes, both seem to have the same colour and hairstyle. We bring you Brad's avatar: The Chameleon Boyfriend! You may say that it is nothing new, and so what if their hair is similar? it could be a coincidence. But is it? The answer is NO! Look, here he is with Gwyneth. © Twitter And Jennifer Aniston. © Pinterest With Jolie again. © Pinterest See the pattern? He has been doing this for years. A constant fact for all his girlfriends; he changes his hair in accordance with the person he is currently dating. Color, texture, hue, length, curliness, everything! Even accessories like hats and sunglasses! Can't believe this has been sitting in plain view all these years. Here he is, happily married and “hair-twinning” with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. © Pinterest To think that it has been right in front of our eyes the whole time and we have been sleeping on it. Look at the uncanny resemblance. © Pinterest Sarah McGonagall's twitter thread went viral after she posted the first picture with an old article covering the story and then it was pandemonium. Twitter went frantic! I saw this news article about Brad Pitt and now I can't stop thinking about it. pic.twitter.com/OytJQD5rli — Sarah McGonagall (@sarahmcgbeauty) July 26, 2018 People started fishing out old photographs of Brad with his girlfriends and all pointed to the same fact; Brad is a serial hairstyle impressionist (is it a thing? :P). Now, that is extreme commitment. © Twitter Is he a chameleon? We sure think that he can give Johnny Depp a run for his money in that department, that too in real life! via GIPHY Is he doing it unwittingly? Is he even aware that he does it or is he just trying too hard? via GIPHY Is he doing it to show his appreciation for his partner? Or do both of them go to the same salon to get identical hair styles? Is it just blatant copying or is it some condition where he morphs into his girlfriend's identity? I can't decide if this is empathetic or sociopathic pic.twitter.com/KAM2tr4Oxo — Katie (@KatieMPet) July 26, 2018 Well, only Brad knows! Kudos to his dedication! Whatever we say, we sure love a boyfriend who goes to such great lengths to make his S.O. feel comfortable and show that he is so in love that he copies their hair. As if men needed more competition. Stop making us look bad, Brad!
  25. This article is going to be very personal for me, as I will be sharing with you my own experience with workout addiction. Yes, that's true; you can become addicted to exercise. Though a majority of the people around the world find it hard to get the ample motivation to exercise regularly, there is a small population who IS addicted to it. Yes, the ones who often spend their online surfing time reading fitness blogs like this one! No, I am not saying that you are definitely an addict if you're reading this article, but I want to share a few traits of someone who works out constantly. But before I get down to those symptoms, let me tell you more about my own experience of workout addiction. I have loved to be active in my entire life, at least as far as I can remember. I just love to sweat daily and get that endorphin high. I easily get carried away, trying to squeeze in more intensity, more strength, the list goes on, but the bottom line is, I don't always know when to give my body a break. Or rather I should say, technically I do 'know' (as it's my profession) but I still struggle with establishing the right balance. The result is inadequate recovery, and suffering from a host of consequences which could range from mild to severe. Strange as it may sound, but once exercise is in your blood, in your regular routine, you simply feel “off” when you skip it. I become moody and irritable when I don't get my daily sweat session. Now that's a good thing if it gives you the motivation but it's not for everyone and hugely depends on your training age. The problem starts when your body is not adequately recovering and you simply don't know how to take a break. Below is the list of the signs that indicate you are overtraining - 1) Sleeping Too Much Or Not Sleeping At All If you are tired and sleepy all the time even after getting a good night sleep or if you find it hard to get a good night sleep, you might be a victim of overtraining. Working out too much can release stress hormone like cortisol which can interfere with your sleep. On the other hand, working out daily with a high intensity can increase your recovery period to a point where you always feel sleepy. © Pixabay 2) Getting Sick Very Frequently Over-exercising can weaken your immune system as it will always be busy with the post-workout repair. Exercise is meant to strengthen your immune system and not to weaken it. If you feel that you have started falling sick more often, it might be a sign of overtraining. 3) Too Sore All The Time It is obvious to feel sore after an intense workout. However, if you feel sore in every muscle at every time of the day, that's not really a healthy sign. It means that you need to slow things down and take a break from a workout. © Pixabay 4) Dipping Energy Levels A healthy and balanced workout makes you feel energetic and motivated towards the next workout. However, if you really have to drag yourself to the gym and your energy levels have been slowly diminishing, it may be a sign of overtraining.
