  1. The words adventure and adrenaline rush mean different things for different people. For some, it could equal climbing the Everest, for others, it could mean drinking the night away before an important exam. However, the ultimate adventure, travelling to space, a dream filled with fear and inhibition for everyone might become a reality soon, only for the super-rich of course. Starting next year, NASA plans on beginning space tourism which will allow private astronauts, i.e guests to travel to outer space. Today starts a new day in low-Earth orbit as we unlock the @Space_Station's potential as a platform for companies to engage in commercial profit-making activities and we welcome private astronauts to visit on U.S. vehicles. Get more details: https://t.co/lJnIlxaii7 pic.twitter.com/8sbi1lEzIn — NASA (@NASA) June 7, 2019 To begin with, this travel is not going to take one to the Moon, but to NASA's international space station.NASA will tie up with private companies which will operate this orbit tour of 30 days. The guests will have to shell out close to 24 lakhs INR per night for this luxury. But no, that's not it folks. It has also tied up with Elon Musk's SpaceX, which will use its Dragon capsule, and Boeing, which is currently building a spacecraft called the Starliner. The taxi fare for this will be close to $ 60 million per flight! Crazy right? Well, the price is as crazy as the idea of vacationing in outer space.
  2. Yeah, you read that right. But of course, there are conditions attached, my friend! So calm your horses down. Amsterdam is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world which originally has over 1 million residents but hosts over 19 million tourists every year. In a new initiative to allow tourists to have a more authentic taste of the city and boost tourist economy, 'Untourist Guide to Amsterdam', a website that was launched recently has launched a campaign called 'Marry an Amsterdammer for a day'. View this post on Instagram Who's up for a boat tour? ๠Tag your friends! | â¡ Stay tuned @freecityguide ð¸: @chiukiamsterdam A post shared by Amsterdam City Guide (@freecityguide) on Jun 6, 2019 at 6:00am PDT Under this campaign, tourists will now be able to sign up for marrying a local listed as a resident for a day. The fake wedding will be a ceremony of 35 minutes and post that, you can enjoy a full day celebrating your honeymoon where your fake bride/groom will help you escape monotony and explore the gorgeous city. Well, the wedding is fake, so obviously the 'honeymoon' is also an umbrella term for the experience, so please don't run your imagination. The bid for the 'spouse' will begin from around 100 Euros and the tourist will be allowed to have family and friends at the wedding. View this post on Instagram “You are my love story, and I write you into everything I do, everything I see, everything I touch, and everything I dream, you are the words that fill my pages.” - a. r. asher A post shared by Alex Wysocki Photography (@alexwysockiphotography) on Jun 5, 2019 at 1:06am PDT The whole idea behind this fun concept is that people should feel connected with the city and not just visit the city for the sake of it. Seems like a crazy idea which will obviously drive so many 'desi' tourists there but damn, we're broke right now bro.
  3. 'Iron Man' actor Robert Downey Jr. played the role of a scientist for the past 11 years. But recently while speaking at Amazon's Re:Mars conference at Las Vegas, he literally convinced us that he's becoming 'Tony Stark' in real life by launching a new initiative to clean the world. During his gag-filled talk that somehow weaved together the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, RDJ announced the launch of a new initiative called Footprint Coalition to clean up our planet. © Reuters “Between robotics and nanotechnology, we could clean up the planet significantly, if not totally, in 10 years”, Downey Jr. said. So yes, he's going to use robots (hopefully they look like Iron Man) and nanotechnology to clean the Earth and reverse its carbon footprint in a decade. He didn't share any details on how the organization plans to achieve its goal. However, he did say that even a small dent could be the most important thing he had ever done. The official website of Footprint Coalition also went live soon after his announcement, but we can only see a signup form for their newsletter as of now. Downey Jr's talk during the keynote was particularly interesting because he discussed artificial intelligence, MCU, the evolution of Tony Stark and his own career too. He also talked about the past that landed him incarcerated on drug charges until he cleaned up in rehab treatment. “Quick disclaimer, I don't pretend to understand the complexities we face as a species, just because I portrayed a genius in my professional life. My scholastic achievement peaked at a correctional finishing”, he said. © Marvel The 20-plus minute announcement during the keynote also featured Amazon's Alexa and Matt Daemon, who joined via video. This, by the way, isn't the first time Downey Jr. has taken AI and advanced technology to do something for the world. Together with his wife Susan Downey, he is also producing a docu-series for YouTube, exploring AI and the impact it will have on people's lives.
  4. With less than 48 hours left for the finale of probably one of the most-watched TV shows in history, 'Game Of Thrones', a lot of fans are waiting with bated breath to see how it all comes to an end, however, the drama revolving around the gloomy dullness throughout this season seems to be like a looming threat for the final episode, and people are genuinely concerned. Multiple theories, many deaths and even a petition to remake the final season has been the mood throughout this month. But it seems like we are not alone in grieving over this disappointment, as the writer of the original book series himself, George RR Martin, also expressed that he wasn't too happy with how the show is ending. Twitter “The series has been… not completely faithful. Otherwise, it would have to run another five seasons. You know, it's complex. I'm a little sad, actually. I wish we had a few more seasons. It can also be… traumatic. Because sometimes their creative vision and your creative vision don't match, and you get the famous creative differences thing — that leads to a lot of conflict. You get totally extraneous things like the studio or the network weighing in, and they have some particular thing that has nothing to do with the story, but relates to 'well, this character has a very high Q Rating so let's give him a lot more stuff to do”, Martin said in an interview. The cast and crew were also a tad bit upset over some characters being killed off. The actor who plays Varys, Conleth Hill, expressed his dismay on how his character met his end. “I took it very personally. I took it as a person, not as an actor or an artist. I understood the reactions of previous actors who had been in the same position a lot more than I did at the time. You can't help feeling that you failed in some way, that you haven't lived up to some expectation that you didn't know about,” he said. HBO Well, love it or hate it, the ending is sealed and we shall witness the action the coming Monday morning.
  5. The (virtual) world of grumpiness lost a bit of its charm today with the passing away of the internet's most catty feline 'Grumpy Cat'. Known to be the face of grumpiness for the online community of 'Republic of Grumpyland', the internet pet sensation became the face of countless (and most apt) memes during her lifetime. © Twitter Grumpy Cat's family took to Twitter hours ago to share the news of her passing away, and tributes have been pouring in in large numbers from the netizens, who had found the perfect stand-in and global representative to express their deepest emotions publicly. Some days are grumpier than others... pic.twitter.com/ws209VWl97 — Grumpy Cat (@RealGrumpyCat) May 17, 2019 Earlier this month, Grumpy contacted a urinary tract infection which proved to be fatal for the feline. “She passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha,” the family wrote in the tweet. This past week really has sucked. Rest in peace you amazing feline, you will be missed. — Ross O'Donovan (@RubberNinja) May 17, 2019 Those who have met her, consider themselves lucky. RIP grumpy cat. I was lucky to meet you in London. pic.twitter.com/T3wZCM1UZS — Mattie (@MattieStar26) May 17, 2019 People remember her for all the happiness they added to their lives. You brought so much joy into so many lives... rest in peace Grumpy Cat. — That's Ms. Hath No Fury to you, thanks (@hburgur) May 17, 2019 Originally named Tardar Sauce by her family, Grumpy Cat helped millions break into a smile courtesy her resting grouchy-face and the hilarious texts that always seemed more funny and related when kept next to her face. Here are a few awesome memes in memory of the late Grumpy Cat. 1. Pessimist, what's that? © Twitter 2. Got the message? © Twitter 3. My name is Social. Anti-Social. © Twitter 4. 6. For all you Iron Man fans out there, we know how the ending of 'Avengers: Endgame' must have left you an emotional wreck. There were tears, heartbreak and a sense of sheer disbelief. I have been there, and yes, moving on has been difficult. But today, I will not venture into the movie and re-live the sadness. Instead, I have some great news that might just help you cope with the 'Endgame' shock. The buzz around town is that the man who brought Iron Man to life on-screen, Robert Downey Jr, has joined hands with the premium smartphone brand, OnePlus, to represent the latest flagship from the company - OnePlus7 Pro, that was launched last Tuesday, May 14. With the OnePlus 7 Pro, the brand finally breaks its traditional OnePlus look and opts for seamless glass curves, immersive 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display, a sleek and chic exterior, and three colours including Mirror Grey, Almond, and Nebula Blue. The camera, on the other hand, is a different ball game altogether. First of all, the pop-up front-facing camera is no gimmick. It is crafted to deliver spectacular selfies without getting in the way of your immersion. Additionally, the 48MP f/1.6 rear camera is equipped with 17 mm 117° ultra wide angle lens which is perfect for capturing sweeping landscapes with incredible clarity. And thanks to the 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom that lets you shoot high-quality, detailed images even at a distance. Apart from all that, the OnePlus 7 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (octa-core, 2.84GHz) processor with Adreno 640 GPU, one of the best chips available on a phone currently. The device is supported with dual nano-SIM capability, a massive 4000mAh battery, and Warp Charge technology that can get your OnePlus 7 Pro up and running in just 20 minutes. How cool is that? And while all this is happening, the association with Robert Downey Jr is yet another milestone for OnePlus. "It's cool to see a young brand disrupting the tech landscape. I was challenged to help them create an authentic campaign based on the tenets of quality and craftsmanship, and it's already proving to be a great fit creatively," says Downey. As far as we are concerned, we think Downey is the perfect fit for the brand and is someone who is an embodiment of the 'Never Settle' spirit at OnePlus. Can't wait to see more from this exciting collaboration!
  7. The third last episode of 'Game of Thrones' aired last Monday and we're pretty disappointed. With Rotten Tomatoes rating it as the second worst episode ever, it's certain we're not the only ones who thought it could have been written better. For one, there were too many loose ends from the last episode which confused us all the way to Seven Heaven's and back. But apart from that, this recent episode was so disjointed, it seemed like the writers got too lazy to even cover up the gaps, which made us go what the F? (c)HBO Maybe the makers are low on budget or have given up on this show overall, but whatever it is, they're really not serving the fans or making George RR Martin very happy with the end. We just hope the last two episodes of the show are a saving grace and we get to salvage whatever little hope we lost. (c)HBO But while watching this episode, several questions arose out of plain curiosity and they're not the kinda questions which will be answered later on. We pray they are, but these questions are inherent callous flaws in the plot and writing, and we're trying to stitch them up as much as we can to make the story a little more malleable. Here are 10 unanswered questions from season 8, episode 4 of 'Game of Thrones': 1. What Does Dany Even Whisper To Jorah At The Funeral Pyre? Well, most definitely not Dracarys! But this one we can let go because what she whispered to him was definitive of Jorah and Dany's personal equation off-set. In real life, Emilia Clarke (Dany) and Iain Glen (Jorah) are very good friends and since Emilia has spent a considerable amount of screen time with Iain, it was sad for them to shoot their last scene together. So, in order to say the perfect goodbye, Emilia made up her own lines for Iain and whispered them into his ear. No one, I believe, even those who were on the sets were privy to what she said and it's only between the two of them. (c)HBO Iain told a popular international entertainment recently, in an interview that the lines she said to him were "something entirely sincere and true to the moment and something that I'll never forget... it's something no one will ever know but the two of us. And that's a memory to hold onto.” So, in case you're wondering why we weren't privy to what she said to Jorah, it's because they wanted to keep it a secret! 2. Where The Hell Will Gendry Go? After Dany makes Gendry the Lord of Storm's End because he's a Baratheon bastard and a good strategical alliance for her, he asks Arya to be his wife, AKA the Lady of Storm's End. But Arya turns him down saying she isn't a lady and that's the last we see of Gendry. So, the most open-ended question right now is where the f**k is Gendry! We didn't see him with his bag, baggage and hammer head out anywhere. We believe he's not going to miss the opportunity to be a Lord and might have already left for Storm's End, putting his character arc to an end. We just hope he doesn't die, while putting his house in order. He's the only Baratheon left after all. (c)HBO 3. Who Is The New Prince Of Dorne? It was strange Varys made an offhand comment, during the war council meeting, while discussing what allies Dany has for the last war, mentioning "The new Prince of Dorne pledges his allegiance". Now, who the hell is the new prince of Dorne? Last we remember, in season 6 Ellaria Sand killed Doran Martell and her daughters killed his son Trystane, to take over Dorne. In Season 7, Cersei kills Ellaria and her daughter making us believe Dorne has no ruler at all. So, now that Varys has mentioned that the southernmost island has a new prince, we wonder who it is. (c)HBO The new prince, we assume, could be Quentyn Martell, the older brother of Trystane. Although Quentyn hasn't appeared in the series, he's a main character in RR Martin's 'A Dance With Dragons', where he went to Meeren to marry Dany, before he was killed by dragon fire. Although 'Game of Thrones' is not following Martin's novels, as some characters alive on the show are dead in the book already and vice-versa, we can't think of anyone other than Quentyn as the prince of Dorne and I hope they reveal his identity sooner than later. Hopefully, they should in the next episode. 4. Why Didn't Jon Say Bye To Ghost? This wasn't cool at all. Jon didn't say bye to his most loyal, faithful companion and that's killing us slowly and steadily inside. It was a heartbreaking scene when Jon requests Tormund to take Ghost with him and the rest of the Wildlings far North and keep him with them. We're not sure why Ghost couldn't come to King's Landing and help Jon out. Maybe the climatic conditions are not suitable for dire wolves far South? (c)HBO But even so, Jon left without even petting him or saying bye to him and Ghost seemed rather upset about it. And why shouldn't he be? He's been by Jon's side every fight, even when Jon died in between, he sat next to his body, protecting it. We assume either Jon was too heartbroken himself to bid his friend goodbye or because Jon's a half-Stark now, he feels guilty petting his wolf and keeping him with him, since he's also a Targaryen, and they pet dragons, not wolves? The Starks were widely criticised earlier for poor pet ownership throughout the series and after this, we're not too happy how things ended with all the dire wolves in the show. 5. What Are Arya And The Hound Planning? When The Hound and Arya are seen leaving Winterfell together, they both unanimously decide to not come back ever. They're both heading towards King's Landing and through their cryptic conversation, we figure they have a common goal for sure, and we reckon it's to kill The Mountain aka Ser Gregor Clegane, aka The Hound's brother. Since he's on Arya's 'list' and he's The Hound's number one enemy, it'll be a two vs. one battle, where The Hound may sacrifice himself to save Arya's life and she will ultimately kill The Mountain. This is a presumable theory, let's see what really happens. (c)HBO 6. Why Did Rhaegal Die So Easily? Well, because Dany was stupid enough to fly her injured dragon into battle where the dragon couldn't predict or prevent himself from being hurt by the scorpion bolts released by Euron's troops. If you see, Rhaegal's wings are still damaged and he can barely pick flight like Drogon. So, in all probability, he was weak enough to pre-empt the attack on him. It was one of the saddest scenes in the series, that's for sure. (c)HBO 7. Why Didn't Dany See Euron's Fleet While Flying? We're not sure how Daenerys missed Euron's fleet flying above the waters around Dragonstone. It would have been the best and the most practical vantage point for her to attack the fleet with dragon fire, preventing Euron from destroying her fleet in return and Missandei's capture. Makes us think either she did this purposely and we're not sure why or she genuinely missed them and couldn't see them because of cloud cover. Sounds improbable though but the writers should have given us a better explanation. (c)HBO 8. Which Advisor Will Betray Dany? Yes, it's a given one of Dany's advisors', either Tyrion or Varys will betray Dany and she will have him executed. Confessing his feelings privately to Tyrion, it's clear Varys doesn't trust Dany to rule the Seven Kingdoms at all and he seems poised to betray her. Varys has always been in support of the realm and its people rather than serving a particular king or queen and that's why you see him change loyalties throughout the show. Now, he doesn't trust Dany to be a befitting queen and assumes she will turn out to be the 'Mad Queen' after all, just like her father. Instead, he is instant on Jon pressing his claim for the throne and wants to see him rule the realm rather than Dany. Will Dany get a whiff of his intentions and have him executed for doubting her ability to rule? (c)HBO 9. Why The F*c* Did Jaime Leave Brienne? Jaime turned out to be your quintessential fuckboi after all. Maybe not a fuckboi but he definitely isn't over his sister or is pretty mad at her and he left Brienne in the middle of the night to go save Cersei's life or maybe kill her instead. Aww, how sweet. But that's a terrible thing to do to Brienne, don't you think? Jaime has only been with one woman all his life and finally, after leaving her for betraying him, he realises he's still in love with her and rides South to go fight her war? Or kill her maybe? who knows! (c)HBO 10. Why Was There A Starbucks Coffee Cup In One Of The Scenes? Well, it's not like 'GoT' uses product placement in their episodes ever, so clearly, this was a sheer mistake and HBO admitted to it too. The episode before this was too dark to see and this episode had a visible coffee cup! Clearly, the writers aren't inspired anymore or are being callous with production and execution to even give a damn about how the episode churns out. We sure hope it's not the latter and these guys make up for their silly mistakes in the next two episodes. For now, the show's been pretty 'dark' and full of errors'! (c)MensXP/HBO There are other unanswered questions like Sansa revealing Jon's secret to Tyrion deliberately or Missandei's demise and why she utters the word 'Dracarys' but I guess we will only know the answers to those in the next couple of episodes. For now, let's hope the fifth episode picks off well and all these unanswered questions are finally answered!
  8. Well, we're back with your weekly dose of PUBG addiction stories. No, it's not a piece of sad news about someone giving up on their marriage or getting arrested for the game. It's actually about something cool. Or, a little extra, depending on how you look at it. An Indian guy decided to take his PUBG addiction to a whole new level by giving his SUV a PUBG-style makeover. Yes, he modded his Tata Nexon into a PUBG wagon that's definitely going to attract a lot of eyeballs on the road. Yes, see if you've spotted this PUBG-themed SUV somewhere on the road. The mod is based on a kit called 'The Red Rhino'. It comes with blacked-out roof and wing mirrors. Also, the chrome accents seen on the original version of the car have been replaced with glossy black elements. In fact, even the alloy wheels have been completely blacked out. Additionally, the car also has some PUBG stickers and a replica of a pan on the dashboard, because why not? © YouTube In case you're interested, you can turn your SUV into PUBG wagon too. The Red Rhino kit will cost you Rs. 35,000. The PUBG accessories and the stickers will cost Rs. 4,500. Of course, you can always choose to go a little extra, but that'll cost you more money.
  9. If you missed the last episode of 'Game of Thrones', then are you really a fan, bro? The last episode 'The Long Night' was nerve-wrecking, to say the least. There were dragons, Wights and their Walkers, the Night King, the unsullied, the Dorthraki and of course, a confusing yet unexpected ending! Yes, Arya did immerge as the true hero towards the end, the 'Last Hero' if you may. But let's face it, seven days is just too long to sit and wait for what's going to happen next in GoT and we do believe the last episode wasn't the end of the White Walkers. Why, you ask? (c)HBO Well, the show creators have hinted that we may see the White Walkers again! I know, right? When asked they directly didn't reveal anything but they also didn't deny the possibility of them coming back. Take a look: When Jimmy asked Benioff and Weiss if the White Walkers were gone, the two couldn't give a straight answer. They either said 'yes', 'no' or even 'possibly', which you can see is the most popular answer from the questions asked to them. So what does this really mean? Will the 'actual' villains return? Will there be a plot twist towards the end? Will the Night King resurrect? Well, we don't know and I am sure they couldn't answer straight up either, unless they want to lose their job for revealing what happens. But since they said "we're not gonna answer that" when they were asked if the zombies are coming back, we've got an inkling that maybe they do? (c)HBO Well, we want the next episode to come rather quickly so we can actually see what happens! But this will be an interesting twist, if it does come true. What do you think?
  10. India has been investing a lot of time and money into the country's space programme and India's mission for a manned trip to the moon is clinching closer than ever. In fact, India is three years ahead to send a manned crew to space. In a report by Bloomberg, the second Indian mission to the moon will have a lander, a rover and an orbiter that will be launched sometime between July 9 and July 16. The report goes to point out that all the modules are currently prepping for the mission and the moon landing is scheduled for September 6th. © Space Prime Minister Modi announced a $1.4 billion manned mission to the moon with a deadline of 2022. The Indian Space and Research Organisation or ISRO plans to launch 32 space missions in 2019 alone. © ISRO The second moon mission is being launched with the purpose of seeking and researching a source of waste-free nuclear energy. This new met jig is said to be worth trillions of dollars. India launched its first moon mission in October 2008 and ejected a probe that discovered water molecules on the surface of the moon. The 2008 mission also successfully completed 3,40 orbits. Previously, the ISRO has broken records by launching over 100 satellites in a single launch and specialises in cost-effective space missions. India beat Russia, who had previously held the record for launching 37 satellites in a single launch. Source: Bloomberg
  11. The Battle Of Winterfell is done and dusted with. However, do you really think that all the business with the Night King is over? I mean, sire, the battle with Cersei matters more and is probably central to 'Game Of Thrones'. But do you really think that the Night King and his Army of the Dead, which was hyped since season 1, would go down this easily? But here's the thing, the great Battle of Winterfell was not without flaws of its own. Like, what was Bran up to while Theon was fighting away the dead. Why would Bran willingly send off Theon to his death? Why are all the main characters or at least the characters whose storylines matter, dead? Wasn't 'Game Of Thrones' built on the principle of catching the audience off guard killing people off who mattered? That's the alarming part and we're not even getting any answers. However, there is a new theory that suggests the unthinkable. So, far, we've thought of Cersei, Sansa, and even the Dragon Queen Daenerys as evil and a possible threat to the Iron Throne. But, what if it's none of them but Bran? What if Bran is the villain everyone should be afraid of? In a Reddit post from user ColdBeing titled “Something just doesn't feel right,” ColdBeing expresses suspicion about the Night King's demise (something that outraged most fans after the third episode of GOT). “They hyped up The Night King for seasons upon seasons, years upon years and this is how he goes out? There's just no way,” the Redditor wrote. They also questioned why Bran warged for so long while Theon was defending him. “Could he have been making a deal with The Night King?” Then, here's a tweet that complicates everything: How did the #NightKing change Craster's babies? By touching them. How did he change Viserion? By touching it. What did Bloodraven say to #BranStark in the cave? "He touched you."#foodforthought#nightking #GameofThrones — Vladimir Furdik (@Vladimir_furdik) April 28, 2019 The theory notes how strange it is that Bran appreciated Theon Greyjoy for being a good man right before he ran to his death. Even when he knows, all the trauma has made him, well a little aloof. © HBO So, while it was great to see Arya plunge the Valyrian steel dagger in the Night King's heart, something isn't quite adding up. And the thing is, Game Of Thrones is good at this sort of a thing where they surprise the audience out of nowhere. Could this be why Bran has been straight off cold and stoic this season? Or the fact that it's just Bran's body and the three-eyed Raven's soul, but then at what point did Bran leave the body? We will only find out in the next episode, hopefully.

  13. First things first, 'Avengers: Endgame' is an absolute masterpiece. Don't get me wrong, this plothole I'm going to talk about doesn't make the movie any less amazing. In fact, I didn't even notice it till I watched it for the second time. No one did. I guess we were all just blown away by the epicness of it all. But, once the dust settles, and I could think clearly about everything I had just witnessed, there was only one question that popped into my head. Be warned, there are SPOILERS AHEAD! If you are part of the select few who haven't watched 'Avengers: Endgame' yet and want to go into it without any spoilers, STOP READING right here! Don't say you weren't warned. Don't go crying in the comments about how I ruined your experience by giving out spoilers. You're the idiot if you keep on reading from here on out without watching the movie. © Marvel Studios Okay, now that the spoiler alert is out of the way, let's get right to it. The two main characters get very different endings. One, Iron Man, gets to save everyone and finally rest while, the other, Captain America gets his happy albeit kind of selfish ending. Iron Man's journey has come full circle from the events of 'The Avengers.' All he wanted to do from the first Iron Man movie onwards was save the world and he finally did it. He lost his life in the process and that's just one of the reasons it is a huge sacrifice. He also gave up his perfect life (with Pepper and Morgan) so that everyone else who had lost their loved ones could get another chance at happiness. The perfect story arc for his character who started off as selfish and arrogant. © Marvel Studios As for Captain America, he has always been the selfless hero who puts everyone else ahead of himself. His own needs are always secondary and every single decision he takes is for the greater good. He is infallible in that sense and is everything a hero and the leader of the Avengers should stand for. So, you could forgive him for being selfish for once and choosing to stay in the past with Peggy Carter after returning all the Infinity Stones. No complaints here either. But then, old Captain America shows up on the bench where Bucky, Sam and Professor Hulk are waiting for him to return through the Quantum tunnel. At first, you enjoy this scene with Bucky's knowing smile and Sam's shocked expression when Cap passes his shield to him. Then you see Cap getting his dance with Peggy and the movie ends on the perfect note. The first Avenger is also the last one you see on screen. Can't see anything wrong with these scenes, can you? Well, there is one problem. How the hell did old Captain America end up on that bench? Answer this question and I will be forever grateful. © Marvel Studios The answer is not simple. Let me break it down into multiple reasons supporting this ending and why they aren't possible: The Rules Of Time Travel Every movie uses what it considers it's own rules for time travel. 'Avengers: Endgame' did the same thing. The rules are simple. Time is relative. So, if you go into the past and change something, your present won't change. You will be creating an alternate timeline. The past will become your future, your present will become your past which can't be changed by the new future you're creating, as Professor Hulk eloquently puts it. © Marvel Studios The Ancient One adds to this saying that when you remove a single Infinity Stone from a particular timeline, you create an alternate timeline where that stone ceases to exist. Professor Hulk has a solution for this. Return every single Infinity Stone to the exact time they took it for. That makes sense and that's where Captain America's final mission leads him. To return every Infinity Stone to the exact moment in time they took them from. If he just showed up on the Quantum tunnel at the end of the movie as Old Captain America, things would have been fine. Captain America Gets Benched It's safe to assume that Captain America is proficient enough to return every Infinity Stone to the right time and place. After that, he decides to live out his life with Peggy Carter. Basically, take the long road to the future. But, how would a timeline where there are two Captain Americas suddenly merge at the end, where he shows up on the bench in the original timeline? It's just not possible. © Marvel Studios If they let him live his life with Peggy Carter in a world where he dismantles Hydra before it infiltrates SHIELD, rescues Bucky before he can cause so much damage, helps the Avengers defeat Loki and take down Thanos, while still leading a happy life with Peggy, I would have been satisfied. But, he shows up on the stupid bench and ruins this theory. Captain America Has Mastered Time Travel Here's another one. Captain America has become a master at time travel. He makes sure he stays with Peggy Carter but lives a very reserved life without impacting any of the major events that take place in the world since he knows there's another Captain America out there handling stuff. The first problem with this is that Captain America, the bravest and purest Avenger would have to sit back while Hydra infiltrates SHIELD, Bucky dismantles governments and murders Tony's parents among others and all the other gruesome things that take place in the main timeline without doing anything. That's not the Captain America we all know and love. © Marvel Studios But, even if he does manage to do that, there's another problem with this theory. Even the smallest of changes could have a huge impact on the timeline and hence create an alternate one. For example, he still has to eat. That's food that would have otherwise gone to someone else. All the food he has eaten over 70-80 years. That's enough to create a new timeline. Time travel isn't as simple as you'd think. The One That Might Just Be True Here's the last one. It's the most plausible of the lot. Still pretty unbelievable. But, it could be true. So, Cap returns all the Infinity stones and then lives his life with Peggy Carter. Once he's done with that life, he takes out the Quantum time travel device Tony Stark created and uses it to travel back to the main timeline with his shield. But, instead of showing up on the new Quantum tunnel he shows up near it. © Marvel Studios He then walks to the place he remembers his friends were waiting for and sits on that bench. That's when everyone sees him and everything else happens as we see at the end of the movie. Although highly implausible, this is the only thing that makes sense. Is there any other explanation? Please help me! I'm losing my mind…
  14. The unthinkable yet somehow predictable thing has happened. Yes, my friends, 'Avengers: Endgame', the movie that we have been waiting for since forever, has unfortunately been leaked on Tamilrockers before its release. Although, I am pretty sure Marvel fans like me are not going to go anywhere near that site. Also, given that over a million people have already booked their tickets, this leak should not really be a problem for Marvel. What concerns me now is the heightened opportunities for possible spoilers, given that we are surrounded by miserable people, so just steer clear of social media till Friday. 'Avengers: Endgame' releases this Friday.
  15. If you haven't ever seen Tom and Jerry while growing up, you've really let go of a significant part of your childhood! The cartoon hit the popularity mark like a storm and became a ritual all across the world to grow up watching it, hence. The series earned 7 Academy awards and were amongst the most noticeable animations for kids, everywhere. (c)Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer The year 2020 will commemorate 80 years of the popular series and as a mark of respect for Tom and Jerry and it's makers Hanna-Barbara, Japan is hosting the world's first Tom & Jerry exhibition called “Tom and Jerry-ten Cartoon no Tensai Combi Hanna = Barbera”. 16. Amongst the brutal chaos that has engulfed Sri Lanka due to the serial bomb blasts that went off in Colombo over the last few days, there are some people who've taken upon themselves to act as messiahs during difficult times in the country. Over 300 people, including foreigners, were killed last week in the terror attack and local heroes are ascertaining that help is provided in every way possible © Twitter For instance, Irfan, an Uber cab driver helped an Indian businessman in distress and one has to be very noble to give the kind of assistance the cab driver gave his Indian customer, during extremely turbulent times. 25-year-old Ashwin Rangarajan, a finance consultant from Bengaluru was scheduled to leave for India on Sunday whose flight was delayed for over 12 hours, due to the aftermath of the blasts in the city. It was a difficult journey to make, from where he was to the airport, but he made it on time and flew back to India safely, and the person responsible for this was Irfan, his Uber driver. © Times Of India The journey Ashwin had to make till the airport was about 45kms long and he had to do it by going through the chaotic streets as the impact of the blasts were still fresh, everywhere. When Irfan got the call for duty, his first instinct was to cancel the ride to avoid any danger along the way, but he trusted his instinct and accepted Ashwin's booking for the airport, making sure he reached safe and sound. Even though Irfan's family was dead against him accepting the long ride to the airport as there were rumours floating about that Muslims were being attacked in the city post the blasts, Irfan thought it was his duty to help a fellow survivor out and instead, acted responsibly. © Pintrest This is a pure indication of the fact that in times of grave crisis, there are still people who act through the sheer presence of mind and do the right thing and can be eventually counted on with regard to their responsibility! Kudos Irfan, we're proud of you!
  17. We have wonderful news for all you 'Harry Potter' fans out there. Aside from trinkets and wizard paraphernalia, the Potter world is getting a new addition that you'll want to add to your collection ASAP. Vans has just released the teaser for an official Harry Potter collab. © Vans The brand announced the news in a tweet saying, “Something magical coming soon,” and when one clicks on the link provided, it takes them to the following message: “Vans and HARRY POTTER collaborated to conjure up a magical collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories for witches, wizards, and muggles alike.” Something magical coming soon: https://t.co/Ug5xKWJXTD pic.twitter.com/fwYXJ3U3bz — Vans (@VANS_66) April 22, 2019 © Vans We wish we could know more soon. 18. Theories may come and theories may go, but this one goes on forever. Ever since 'Avengers: Infinity War' came out last year, all Marvel fans have spent all their time watching and rewatching everything from Marvel, trying to find out clues and form theories for 'Avengers: Endgame'. Some seem spot on, some are too big to reach, and then some theories are so ridiculous, they become so iconic they even reach back to the cast and the directors. If 'Ant-Man going up Thanos' ass and expanding' didn't immediately come to your mind, I'm sorry but you're not a true Marvel fan. This is the theory that has formed a life of its own and has probably haunted Paul Rudd, and Josh Brolin, of course, for months. The theory is so simple yet so complicated, so ridiculous but ridiculous enough to actually work. And, we're not the only ones advocating for Ant-Man to go inside Thanos; turns out, even Robert Downey Jr is a fan. While doing press for the biggest Marvel movie yet, two of the OG Avengers - Jeremy Renner and RDJ - talked about all the crazy fan theories. Jeremy kept it professional and said, “I just love the creativity that comes from theories. They're hilarious, they're pretty crazy… but it means people are invested in the stories.” RDJ, on the other hand, was just being, well, RDJ. He would obviously bring up the viral theory. He said, “My favorite [fan theory] is Ant-Man goes up Thanos' butt and then makes himself big. And that's exactly what happens.” Robert Downey Jr talks about his favorite #AvengersEndgame theories... ð ð pic.twitter.com/BExlNXFUjM — EB Games Australia (@EBGamesAus) April 15, 2019 Well, the Russo Brothers were already on board with this theory and now that they have RDJ's support, it can only mean one thing - Thanos better watch his back...and his butt. I wish I could say this was photoshopped but the Russo brothers really did that pic.twitter.com/U7zW1fYznN — mila â¡ (@voiidmarvel) March 29, 2019 Paul Rudd right now, probably!
  19. Music is one of the greatest markers of any civilisation. It grows, changes and evolves into something entirely different at the turn of every decade that comes to a close. Every new beginning welcomes new changes to the realm of music and the end result leaves a lasting impression on our minds. Yet, even with the constant evolution that music undergoes from time to time, certain compositions simply strike a chord and stick with us. Why? Maybe because the beats were catchy, or the film was one of your favourites from that year, or simply because the music got under your skin for no particular reason. But what we can't deny is the fact that even after so many years since the first time we heard those songs, we love them just as much even after a gap of 10 long years. We list down 10 such uber popular Bollywood songs from 2009 that were crazy hits and will soon be completing 10 years. So get ready to feel really old and find some of your favourite tracks on this list here, because frankly, we didn't see this coming. 1. Emotional Attyachaar (Dev.D) The absolute upheaval that this composition caused to the music charts in 2009 doesn't need much recollection. Emotional Attyachaar from 'Dev.D' came handy during so many situations besides a heartbreak, it quickly became a classic. 2. Dhan Te Nan (Kaminey) One of Vishal Bharadwaj's best compositions, this was from Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Kaminey' was played at every house party and discotheque with equal enthusiasm. Edgy and entertaining, with high-rolling beats this one kept everyone pumped. 3. Tera Hone Laga Hoon (Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani) This song from 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif sort of became the romance anthem of the year. Well, what can we say, guys took to it pretty quickly. 4. Iktara (Wake Up Sid) This one was a popular choice not only then, but even to this day, as we can find this song in a lot of people's playlist. And when we say a lot, we mean it. This soulful song not only fetched the singer the best playback singer award but also became a major hit. 5. Chiggy Wiggy (Blue) Even though 'Blue' tanked at the box office big time, this song was a major crowd-puller in 2009 because it saw Australian-British pop star, Kylie Minogue's first ever Bollywood collaboration. Apart from the song and music, those moves Kylie pulled off with Akshay Kumar were too good! 6. All Izz Well (3 Idiots) This one doesn't need any introduction for obvious reasons. This became a raging anthem with the younger lot of the time, and still continues to be a very popular number even after 10 years since it first came out. 7. Genda Phool (Delhi-6) Ask your mother and you will know exactly how much every mother and aunt in the country came to love this song, and relate to some or the other part of it. Regardless, there is no denying this was a popular number in 2009. 8. Paisa Paisa (De Dana Dan) The lyrics of this one, as well as Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif grooving to this song, got to the guys. If you haven't heard this one, you better. Then you will know exactly why. 9. Hai Junoon (New York) This one was meant for the squad and everybody appreciated it. People instantly connected to it because it reminded them of their friends and that is always a winner! 10. Twist (Love Aaj Kal) If you didn't dance to this one at least at five different parties, then did you even have any fun in 2009? This one took all the parties and dance sessions by storm!
  20. If you search 'best proposal in the world' on the internet, you will find innumerable, inspiring ways and ideas to make yours a memorable one. But, no matter how much efforts you put in proposing your girlfriend, neither you nor anyone else in the world can beat Yasushi 'Yassan' Takahashi. In an era when social media and internet in general wasn't a huge deal, this Japanese guy did something unbelievable, and ruined the chances of having a basic proposal for every guy out there. How, you ask? By spelling 'Marry Me' on Google Earth and GPS. YouTube/ Google For those wondering whether this is fake or photoshopped, it's not. The photo is as real and genuine as the guy's feelings for his girlfriend. Hailing from Tokyo Yasushi aka Yassan realised in 2008 that his girlfriend, natsuki is the one for him. Now, when you are so sure, you can't simply get away with a basic 'ring' proposal. We guess he thought so too and the result was this insanely amazing GPS art. YouTube/ Google In fact, it also got him into the Guinness World Record for the largest GPS drawing in history. It took Yassan six months and nearly 7000 km to draw 'Marry Me' with a heart next to it. In case you guys didn't know, GPS art is where you create digital drawings using Google Earth by travelling using a GPS device. This way, once the route is uploaded on the app, it begins to form an artwork. YouTube/ Google Google even shared a throwback of his amazing journey on Twitter, and since then his story has gone viral on social media. You can check out his journey here, and rest assured, you're going to be swooning by the end of it. For over 10 years, Tokyo resident Yasushi “Yassan” Takahashi has been creating GPS art with @googleearth and #StreetView—but it was his very first drawing that was his biggest, in more ways than one → https://t.co/O9dYPHyauy pic.twitter.com/dEXmwp9suc — Google (@Google) April 10, 2019 While it all went well for him and his girlfriend said yes, imagine (hypothetically) if she said no? Then he would have have a different story with a Guiness World Record and six month travel experience at hands, which is not exactly bad, is it?
  21. Artificial Intelligence, as we all know, is slowly changing all of our lives as we know it. They're slowly taking over our jobs, have started driving our cars, and who knows what else. And guess what? A group of researchers just decided to let an AI program decide who will survive to rule the seven kingdoms in the 'Game Of Thrones' finale. The AI program in question here is the same one which predicted Jon Snow would live and Tommen Baratheon would die. And now, as we all are preparing for the final season to premiere in a couple of days, the AI is back at it again. © HBO This particular AI program, in case you are wondering, was created by the students of the Technical University of Munich. The algorithm has analyzed the data of over 2,000 characters with the help of information obtained from 'Game of Thrones' Wiki and The Wiki of Fire and Ice. A particular character's house, gender, marriage history, and things like character significance are among the deciding factors. “When you play the game of thrones you win… OR YOU DIE”. So, whoever manages to survive until the end gets to sit on the iron throne. According to the AI, Daenerys Targaryen has the highest chance of surviving till the end and sit on the iron throne. Tyrion Lannister is next in line with a promising 97-per cent survival rate. Varys, Samwell Tarly and Jaimie Lannister are some other characters who are most likely to survive. The great war was here. #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/hWSeyHVIPe — Game of Thrones (@GameOfThrones) April 2, 2019 Now, coming to the characters which the AI thinks will die, Bronn is high up on the list with 93-per cent likelihood of dying. Bronn is followed by Gregor Clegane (The Mountain), Sansa Stark, Bran Stark and Sandor Clegane (The Hound). Anyway, we all have our own predictions, and we'll get all the answers when the games will begin again, for the last time, this Sunday.
  22. The Captain America-Iron Man reunion was one of the biggest things every Marvel fan was waiting for in 'Avengers: Infinity War' but as we know, it never happened. Then, this particular meeting became the main focus of one of the 'special videos' from 'Avengers: Endgame' and everyone is still very emotional about it. This is all because of the events of 'Captain America: Civil War', of course. They both love each other but a disagreement over the Sokovia accords and obviously a brainwashed Bucky killing Tony's parents years ago tore them apart. In that last fight scene from the movie, the last time they both actually saw each other, Tony basically took away Cap's shield because “he didn't deserve it”. Well, even after so many years and Cap even calling Tony earth's best defender, Tony is not yet ready to give back the shield. The entire cast is doing the press tour for 'Endgame' right now and it's hilarious because it's just all of them having fun together, probably for the last time. RDJ has been very active on Instagram, sharing videos with all his Marvel BFFs and it's so pure. But, since it's RDJ and he has the best bromance with Chris Evans, he of course had to throw some shade. View this post on Instagram #flashback #day1 @avengers #press #tour #2019 Sorry Cap! 23. Drones, the gadget denied to Indian enthusiasts by the DGCA, unless you are a wedding planner or photographer, is a heated topic in the country. While we may be debating the commercial use of drones in India, people in Australia can now get coffee and food delivered to them by our flying friends. © Pexels The company that is making the service a possibility is called “Wing” owned by Google's parent company Alphabet. The company has now begun delivering items to customers just outside Canberra, Australia's capital. The company has already tested the service 3,00 times in the past 18 months and is now ready to roll the service out for “eligible homes.” The service will be available in the outskirts of Canberra, namely in suburbs of Franklin, Palmerston and Crace. The company is already adding new customers and is expected to grow that number in the coming weeks and months. The company will start delivering over the counter items such as coffee, wraps, burritos and other smaller products. © Wing The key to the company's success is partnering with local businesses and merchants who want to get their products delivered to customers. The service is currently not at scale due to the nature of the project, however, it's a great step towards reducing emissions from traditional delivery methods. © Pexels Of course, we won't get to see something like this in India as we need special permission from DGCA to just own a drone or fly them in a specific area. In fact, if you want to know the precise rules of flying a drone in India, you can read our guide here. Until then, enjoy them drones at a nearby Delhi wedding where it showers you with rose petals!
  24. Robert Downey Jr loves being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he has never shied away from showing just that. He loves his character, he loves his costars and he just seems to love his life and his job so much. We all know how much fun he has with his Marvel co-stars off screen, we have the 'Science Bros' and of course the ongoing Twitter bromance with Chris Evans. Everyone simply loves him and I noticed one recurring thing in almost every picture he has with all the other Avengers - he's constantly kissing them and showering them with love. 25. It's a dream for all gamers to own as many games as possible, so that you'd never run out of games to play. But there's a fine line between collecting and hoarding, and apparently, a Texas man named Antonio Monteiro is lost in between. Last week, Antonio earned the Guinness World Record for having the largest video game collection in the world. How many does he own? 20,139 to be precise as of March 28. Yes, that's just insane. © Guinness World Records Monteiro has been collecting games since he was a child, and he apparently owns games for second to eighth generation consoles. Of course, he also owns 100-plus devices on which he plays all these games. Owning that many devices make sense considering the fact that he literally has huge walls stocked with games. You can check out the video here - The wall of games, as you can see, includes complete collections for consoles like Sony's PS2. the Nintendo Wii, Sega Dreamcast, and more. His first ever game was a copy of 'Golden Axe' for Sega Genesis, which his parents gave him as a gift. His favourite game, however, is 'Super Castlevania IV' for Nintendo SNES, and he calls it a masterpiece.
