ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsAll the desi grooms out there, there's a piece of great news for all of you. A multi-millionaire father is looking for a groom for his daughter who he says is single, virgin and can speak multiple languages. Meet 58-year-old Arnon Rodthong, a multi-millionaire from Thailand, who owns a huge durian (yep, the smelliest fruit on the face of the earth) farm in a province in southern Thailand. © Facebook Just like any other father in the world, Arnon too is concerned about his 26-year-old daughter, Karnsita Rodthong's marriage and future. So, he decided to take the matter into his own hands and made a bizarre and inescapable offer for his future son-in-law. Arnon has announced to offer 10 million baht (Rs. 2.19 crore approx.) as well as his entire estate to the man who marries his daughter. In fact, he is even willing to waive off the 'dowry fee' that a groom is expected to pay to his future wife (it's a part of the custom in some parts of Thailand). © Facebook According to Arnon, Karnsita helps him run the family business, can speak fluent English and Chinese and is a virgin. "I want someone to take care of my business and make it last. I don't want a person with a bachelor's, or master's or philosopher's degree," he said. He further added, "I want a diligent man. I just want someone with a hard-working attitude. That's all." What's more, there are no restrictions on the future groom's nationality, as long as they 'work hard and make Karnsita happy'. © Facebook While the dad has plans of giving it all to his future son-in-law, his daughter seems to have plans of her own on how she wants to use that money. Reportedly, Karnsita, who is overwhelmed by all the attention she is getting after her father's offer, hints that her future husband might have to struggle to take out money from her father because she would "like to use it herself for plastic surgery in Korea." Well, now we're curious about that lucky guy who will get Karnsita, 10 million baht and huge durian farms.
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsAccording to the former boxer history and record, Mike Tyson's head works in… let's just say, very unusual ways. The one to have owned three massive Bengal tigers (yes, one of them was showed in the first 'Hangover' movie) and a whole room full of exotic pigeons, Tyson is famous for his love for animals. View this post on Instagram Not many can say they raised a tiger. #vintagetyson A post shared by Mike Tyson (@miketyson) on Jan 7, 2019 at 4:47pm PST In this scenario, however, Tyson was squared up and ready to punch a giant silverback gorilla in the face! According to the British newspaper, 'The Sun', the 2011 International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee had booked the entire New York zoo for a private tour for his then wife Robin Givens and himself in the late 1980's as a date. Their 'us' time was however interrupted by a big silverback gorilla who was bullying all the other monkeys present in and around the alpha ape's cage. “When we got to the gorilla cage there was one big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas. They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant,” Tyson told The Sun. “I offered the attendant $10,000 (Rs. 7.1 lakh approx.) to open the cage and let (me) smash that silverback's snotbox! He declined.” Rest assured that no animals were punched that day as the zookeeper refused to take Tyson's money or let him get inside the cage with the beast. The 52-year-old is one of the iconic figures of boxing and was one of the pioneers of American boxing that made the sport so famous in the 80s. Having won back-to-back golds at the 1981 and 1982 Junior Olympics, Tyson won his first big fight against Trevor Berbick in 1986 for his first World Boxing Council (WBC) title. ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online NewsYesterday, India was hit by one of the worst terrorist attacks with over 40 brave Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans losing their lives in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The attack that happened by Jaish terrorists targeted a convoy with a car bomb. The country is mourning the loss of all the martyred jawans and is praying for the speedy recovery of those injured. It's terrible how something like this is what it takes to unite the country but at least everyone is in this together. Just a few hours after the attack, father of martyred CRPF Personnel Ratan Thakur talked to ANI and in a heart-wrenching message said that he is willing to send his other son to fight as well for Mother India. Now Locana, a tiny beautiful ghost town in Italy near the Turin region, has yet again offered the same. The government there is offering around 9000 Euros to anyone willing to relocate. That's approximately Rs. 73 lakh but then there's a catch there as well. The amount will be paid in a period of over 3 years, and the prerequisite for this is that you must be married with a kid (they want to populate the place with families). “Our population has shrunk from 7,000 residents in the early 1900s to barely 1,500 as people left looking for a job at Turin's big factories,” Locana's mayor Giovanni Bruno Mattiet told a newspaper. Initially the offer was open just for the residents of Italy but the poor response has made them believe that people from other countries are also welcome to apply, if the applied conditions are fulfilled. Would you take up an offer like this? As dreamy as it may sound, in terms of practicality, I think it's logistically kind of impossible for us to move there permanently.
