Malala is extensively known for her advocacy for the rights of girls in her native, especially the right to receive complete education. 4. Tied with his arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo at five wins apiece, Lionel Messi etched his name in the history books after claiming a record sixth Ballon d'Or trophy in a star-studded awards ceremony in Paris. In the process, Messi became the first player to reach the landmark, coming out on top of the 30-man nomination list which included the likes of Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk. © Reuters Messi and Ronaldo have dominated one of the football's most prestigious trophies over the last decade. Both had earlier won five Ballon d'Ors to prove they are in a class of their own. But, their dominance was eventually brought to an end by Luka Modric who won the coveted award last year. But, for someone who won the trophy last year, Modric failed to find a nomination this year. While Messi lifted his record sixth award, Modric became the first Ballon d'Or winner not to be nominated in the next year's edition. But, despite failing to make the cut in the nomination list this year, the Croatian was all but praise for his Barcelona rival. "Sports and football are not just about winning, they're also about respect for your teammates and rivals," Modric tweeted alongside a picture of him handing Messi the award. @Cristiano Ronaldo was named the Italian league's player of the year on Monday following his debut season at Juventus. He had scored 41 goals in 44 club appearances so far for the Catalan giants across the calendar year which probably allowed him to hold off the challenge of Dutch defender Van Dijk who helped Liverpool bag the 2019 Champions League title. While the social media was abuzz with Messi's record triumph at this year's Ballon d'Or awards ceremony, football fans across the globe also hailed Modric for his sportsmanship as he successfully proved football is beyond rivalries. 5. Less than 6 years ago, a young Andrew Robertson from a small town in Glasgow, Scotland led his local team Queens Park to a third-place finish and Playoff appearance in the third tier of Scottish football league. With a spinal injury hindering his football development, Robertson was set to give up on a career in football and join a university program to complete his undergraduate studies. However, he was called up to the first team by Queens Park during the 2012-13 season - a lifeline to his footballing career. Reuters After clinching a Playoff place with Queens Park, Andy was brought to Scottish premiership side Dundee where he spent a year until being purchased for £3 million by Hull City who were plying their trade in the Championship at that time. Promotion in his first season with the club meant that he would now be on the radar of major English clubs. After spending two seasons with Hull City, Robertson caught the eye of one Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool which inspired an eight-million-pound move to Merseyside in 2017. What followed over the next two seasons was neither anticipated by Liverpool nor by young Robertson. Reuters The seed had been laid by 2017 for the direction in which Klopp wanted to take his team and Robertson was exactly the kind of player to implement that vision. A young, raw, talented full-back who could run relentlessly and mark his man astutely. Over the last two seasons, under Klopp's guidance, the 25-year-old has established himself as a stalwart in the Liverpool defence, making him one of the (if not the best) left-back in European football at the moment. Appearing in 36 of the 38 premier league matches played by Liverpool this season, he has 11 assists to his name and contributed significantly to the 21 clean sheets kept by Liverpool - the highest in the league this season. Reuters Virgil van Dijk has often been touted as the main reason why Liverpool's defence has risen through the ranks the way it has this season, but the two full backs; Robertson and the young Englishman Trent Alexander-Arnold have truly made that unit a defensive rock, that played a pivotal role in the Reds' much-awaited triumph in Europe. From a small-town boy from Glasgow who almost gave up the sport to becoming a bit-part player for a local team in Scotland's third division to now UEFA Champions League winner; the journey of dynamic Robertson is the one that continues to give way to young and aspiring footballers who're looking to make a mark in the sport.
  6. The Champions League final between Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur was a rather uneventful one. An extremely gutsy 'handball' call by the referees in the first minute of the game, gave the 2019 Premier League Golden Boot winner Mohamed Salah the opportunity to score from the penalty spot in the first two minutes of kick-off, and probably made the entire Spurs roster a bit hesitant for the rest of the final, which was evident as the ball barely made it past the Liverpool defence. Credit: Reuters To add insult to injury, substitute Divock Origi sent a brilliant ripper to the bottom right corner of the Hotspur goal that went past keeper Hugo Lloris and into the net in the 87th minute to help the Reds win the 2019 Champions League Trophy. But guess who was the real winner as the two teams went head on to win one of the greatest leagues in the football world? This pitch invader, who leapt across the on-field security and onto the ground, and was finally caught hold of right at the heart of the stadium with thousands of fans cheering for her. This courageous lady, Kinsey Wolanski, jumped over the lines, went past Liverpool keeper Alisson Becker, towards the centre, cheering with both hands up before being pinned down by the stadium security right next to Harry Winks, who looked visibly uncomfortable. View this post on Instagram Did I distract #8 a little too much? A post shared by Kinsey Wolanski (@kinsey_sue) on Jun 1, 2019 at 4:51pm PDT She was obviously escorted out of the field with two security guards by her side, stopping her from celebrating and greeting the audience and was eventually escorted out of the stadium with her hands tied behind her back. She certainly did not mind. View this post on Instagram STREAKING THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE! 7. Chris Evans and his facial hair is a conversation that will never die down, be it his 'Infinity War' beard or his pornstache. Well, actually the pornstache is even hated by Chris Evans now, and talking about it and looking at those pictures is an act of aggression for him. This is clearly an act of aggression. There are literally hundreds of photos to choose from. What did I ever do to you, Canada? https://t.co/3sAEARiTq4 — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) February 12, 2019 There was even a 'stache battle recently, started by none other than Robert Downey Jr. This is clearly an act of aggression. Recently, the debate of Cap's beard was brought up again at a press conference in Los Angeles and was followed by a vote. Since the cast can't spill anything about the movie, obviously, they're sticking to something much more important. The entire cast was asked to vote for bearded Cap or clean shaven Cap, and well, we all know who will win this. Paul Rudd prefers both, because he's the most lovable person and can never hate on something. Also, I will forever be mad at RDJ for not answering, this is not done. What happened to your bromance now? I kind of feel bad for the second best Chris because Cap basically copied his beard and now Cap's beard is the hottest topic of discussion. Well, RDJ is just playing games now. Asked who prefers bearded Cap vs. clean-shaven Cap, everyone but Danai, Karen, and Feige prefers bearded Cap. Rudd likes both. 8. The 2019 Pakistan Super League (PSL) ended on a high note when Quetta Gladiators successfully chased down Peshawar Zalmi's below average total of 138 runs in just 17.5 overs to claim their first ever title in the Twenty20 league's history. The Man of the Match award was given to Pakistan's Mohammad Hasnain who was able to snap three wickets while giving up 30 runs in his four overs. Quetta's Ahmed Shehzad led the team's batting order with his 58-on-51 delivery performance as former Aussie captain Shane Watson was dismissed early in the game with a run-out at the hands of Umar Amin. However, the highlight of the evening came after the match was over when, from the crowd of 32,000 cricket fanatics present at the National Stadium in Karachi, emerged an internationally familiar face of a different sport. During the closing ceremony of the 2019 PSL former FIFA World Cup winner and Barcelona FC captain Carles Puyol was brought to the stage followed by a collective roar of cheer coming from the stands. 9. Love is a four letter word so powerful, it can weave together the myriad threads of the most bedazzling emotion one is capable of feeling in their lifetime. It is more than just four English alphabets scribbled beside the name that makes our heart skip a beat every time it is mentioned. It will catch us by surprise when we are least expecting it, and render us speechless at a moment when we would rather spill our guts out. Plaguing us with an unceasing giddy restlessness and excitement that makes going through our days a torment - made bearable only with the sighting of the person our heart seems to be beating for all of a sudden. Love is called magical simply because when we are in love, we can never be too sure what the next moment could bring to our life - while we stand powerless against its bittersweet onslaught. (c) Pooja & Varun To love is to hold and cherish, protect and care, with a promise to be fair and honest, not only to our beloved but also towards the relationship we build together. Love in all its beauty is to accept, support and encourage the happiness and the well-being of that one individual we would move heaven and earth for. But to love is to also face the demons of your lover and stand by their side as they fight it off. To love is getting through those ugly fights and misunderstandings that come from feeling too much, and too deeply. To love is to see the person you care deeply for at their weakest or lowest, and loving them anyway. No questions asked, and no strings attached, simply because seem like life's greatest blessing. Varun and Pooja's journey towards love is made up of all that - the good, the bad and the ugly - and their love has come out strong, oh so strong against every test of time. (c) Pooja & Varun The couple met each other through a common friend. Pooja recalls her first meeting like it was yesterday, “My friend told me about this guy who would be perfect for me and she wanted to set me up with him. I did not pursue it at the time, but one day when I was catching up with an ex, my friend invited Varun there without even telling me. the minute that he walked in, I could not take my eyes off him. I was intrigued to know him more. We just got to talking and started meeting every day.” However, Varun has a different (and may we add more interesting) story to share. “We met through a common friend, rather it was a set up for which I had to coax that friend for a month to introduce me to her”, shares Varun. Now that's some memorable “coincidental” meeting the two had, and while it's pretty clear that they hit it right off from the go, wait till you hear about their first “official” date. (c) Pooja & Varun “I asked him out on a date. We had been talking for a week by then, and I suggested going out for a movie. However, Varun insisted that we went out for coffee instead. I agreed thinking a movie wouldn't give us enough time to talk, but Varun made the suggestion because he felt that a movie date would only last for 3 hours, whereas a coffee date can go on an entire day. I just couldn't stop smiling after that.” Again, the first date was memorable for Varun for a totally different reason. “We went to Barista in Basant Lok Market, and personally it turned into a disaster at the end since I had forgotten to get my wallet.” Their journey only gets better from here on. They went on to date each other for the next 11 years, and sure enough, faced a number of ups and downs during this time. Their courtship had all the elements of a budding romantic relationship, but it was made a little difficult by Pooja's anxiety issues which she never imagined would turn into a full-blown disaster, coupled with panic attacks. (c) Pooja & Varun Recalling the time when she came to face her demon for the first time, Pooja says, “I had been dating Varun for 3 yrs when he decided to get a job in UAE and moved there. This posed as an unbearable change and the loneliness caused my anxiety to become full-blown panic attacks.” The distance took such toll on Pooja's mental well being that she would cry endlessly and began to fall sick. Through it all, Varun was right by her side despite the miles separating them. “He used to call me for long hours at night to calm my panic attacks. He spent half his salary on calling me long distance to pacify my fears. Once he was back, we went through a time where I could not leave my house. I used to feel ill and anxious if I did. Varun and I had our dates at home those days. He used to sit with me and my family. Watch movies all day”, shares Pooja. (c) Pooja & Varun Even when things got difficult, Varun never bailed on Pooja. He stood right beside her like a pillar of strength and helped her fight her battle all the way. Talking about all those moments that Varun made bearable for her, and ultimately helped her to get better, Pooja adds that “There were also times where I could not travel or stay away from home even for a night. Varun also sacrificed those trips with friends so that I wouldn't feel like I was missing out.” Varun decided to help Pooja deal with her reality better, and that's when “he came up with the plan to make me feel comfortable with night stays outside the house and that is when we started taking 1-day trips together. We went to Agra once and I had a severe panic attack there. He stayed awake all night long hugging me while I kept wailing the night away. No questions asked. No words were spoken.” (c) Pooja & Varun This was the moment that changed everything for Pooja. She was willing to give her all to anything that would make her better and stronger as a person. She told us, “when my partner was also missing out on things because of my disability it gave me a purpose to overcome anxiety. What got me better was his constant presence letting me know that he has my back always.” That's not all, Pooja's acknowledgement and gratitude is proof that when done right, there are lots of ways how a supportive partner and a loving relationship can help someone who is suffering from severe episodes of anxiety. “Varun gave me that space where there was no pressure to be normal. He took my anxious nature as my normal and that just gave me the time to try cognitive therapy and the will to better myself. Now we travel 3 or 4 times a year which was once a dream for me. I am still dealing with it one step at a time but we have made great progress.” (c) Pooja & Varun After 11 years of dating each other, the couple finally got married in 2017, which happens to be their most dear milestone. Pooja shares how the grew as a couple through the years, “we have been through every test of time. From being in a long distance to being in the same city but living far. From seeing each other every day to seeing each other once a week. From accompanying each other for our respective exams to managing to get a degree at the end of it all. From taking risks in life to being scared even to leave the house. From facing panic attacks to going FOR counselling. Every hurdle thrown our way has been faced together with an abundance of patience and we are still moving ahead and dealing with life together.” (c) Pooja & Varun For Varun, Pooja continues to be his biggest cheerleader. Someone he can trust and rely on. He shares that, “When the shit hits the roof, she is the one you need by your side. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure.” Varun also has just one an important to share with all those men who have partners who also suffer from anxiety. “Things become better with patience and perseverance”, quips Varun, and we presume that this along with his love for Pooja must have helped the couple sail through the tough situations and come out as winners in life and as lovers. More power to the happily married couple!

The 76th Golden Globe Awards happened last night, well...technically around 6.30 this morning and we don't think people have ever cared for any other award show as much as they did for this one. 12. India is a price-sensitive market and budget smartphones have contributed to making India the second largest market in the world. Part of that growth can be attributed to Xiaomi's Redmi Note series and it seems like the company is not ready to get dethroned anytime soon. The Redmi Note 5 and 5 Pro were one of the most successful smartphones in India and it seems like Xiaomi plans to continue that dominance with the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The Redmi Note 6 Pro follows the same ethos as previous devices in the family--a smartphone that offers a quality experience for a fraction of the price. So let's dive straight into the smartphone's key features and how it performed during the course of our review. Design And Display The Redmi Note 6 Pro now has an updated design and a brand new edge-to-edge screen. It has a 6.26-inch display and has an aspect ratio of 19:9. Xiaomi has refined the design of the smartphone from the Redmi Note 6 with a slightly curved back that makes it easier to hold. It has a rear fingerprint scanner and a dual camera setup that looks very reminiscent of its predecessor. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Unlike the Redmi Note 5 Pro, the camera on the Redmi Note 6 protrudes far less and the camera bump is less noticeable. You will have to use the supplied cover if you want to protect the lens from scratching and other damages. The power button and the volume button have now been moved to the right edge of the phone and are not hard to access even if you have small hands. The smartphone even has a P2i coating for protection against everyday spills and splashes. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla At the bottom, there are two speaker grills and a micro USB slot for charging. We would have loved to see a USB-C port instead as it just works better when it comes to fast charging. Sure, the MicroUSB port is more accessible amongst users for charging purposes. However, it's time to see the port get updated to the norm. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla The 6.26-inch Full HD+ display has now been updated with a notch design giving more room for users to consume content. The notched design gives the smartphone more real estate and also allows the smartphone to have face unlock capabilities. There is a noticeable difference in the quality of the screen from its predecessor as it looks better, has brighter, vivid and accurate colours. The display is a delight to use if you love to watch content in HHD and works as advertised for being an LCD display. It is bright enough to see details and notification under bright sunlight. Camera This is one department where we see some major improvements as the company has now implemented a sensor that has a wider aperture and bigger micron pixel. The smartphone has been outfitted with a dual camera setup featuring a 20-megapixel primary sensor, paired with a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. The primary sensor has a larger 1.4micron pixel and an aperture of f/1.9. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla The bigger pixel and wider aperture enable the camera to let in more light and in turn, take better clearer pictures. This also translates to better low-light images as compared to its predecessor. The dual camera setup also lets the Redmi Note 6 Pro take portrait shots which blurs the background. The portrait mode works well enough to blur the subject. However, we would have liked to see a little more accuracy around the edges. Having said that, this is a budget smartphone that delivers a far better imaging experience than any other device in this segment. You can even adjust the blur after taking the image which is a plus for people who love to take portrait shots. The star feature of the portrait mode are the various effects you can use. We particularly like the light trails and studio lighting effects that make the images look outstanding. You can even remove objects from the background which you can see from our samples. View this post on Instagram Images shot using #RedmiNote6Pro A post shared by Akshay Bhalla (@editorinchief) on Nov 21, 2018 at 9:08pm PST Performance And Software We don't see much difference here because “why fix something when it's not broken”. The Redmi Note 6 pro has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and is coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. For graphics, Xiaomi is using the Adreno 509 GPU which is good enough for light/moderate gaming. The SoC performs as well as it did on the Redmi Note 5 pro as we did not experience any lags. We've been using the device for over a week and it performed well during the course of our review. We used it for streaming content on Netflix, play PUBG/Asphalt and take numerous images. It scored 1329 on Geekbench 4 for the single core test whereas it scored 4898 on the multi-core test. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla The Redmi Note series has always been known for providing great battery life and the same can be said about the Note 6 Pro. It has a 4,000 mAh battery under the hood and can easily last 2.5 days with moderate to high usage. Sure, it would have been awesome to see a USB-C port for faster charging as the massive battery can take some time to get fully charged. The Final Say Starting at Rs 13,999, the Redmi Note 6 pro is one of the more reliable budget smartphones of this year. It performs well and delivers extremely good battery life that cannot be matched by any other budget device at the moment. The camera on the device is a delight to shoot and there are some nifty features on MIUI 10 to make them stand out with cool effects.
  13. The world of football has seen many superstars over the ages, but the ongoing reign of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is arguably something that's going to last in our memories for a really long time. The two footballing greats have made the sport their own playing arena and the fact that they have won a record five Ballon d'Ors, goes on to show how dominant they have been in the last decade. The duel for football's top individual award began in 2008 when Ronaldo pipped Messi to bag his first Ballon d'Or. But, the Argentine was not to be underestimated as he went on to bag the coveted award for four successive years. While many had ruled Ronaldo out of ever coming close to his nemesis, the Portuguese didn't lose hope and went on to clinch the Ballon d'Or in 2013 and 2014. The next year saw Messi staging a comeback, taking his tally to a record five Ballon d'Or wins in 2015. But, Ronaldo shut all the naysayers after bagging the prestigious award in 2016 and 2017 to equal Messi's record of most Ballon d'Or triumphs. With both the Phenoms tied at five wins apiece, this year's Ballon d'Or is being anxiously awaited by football pundits and fans to see who'll come out on top and take the lead in most Ballon d'Or wins. © Reuters However, contrary to popular perception, it has emerged that we might have to wait a little longer to see the showdown between Ronaldo and Messi. If the recent reports are to be believed, neither Ronaldo, nor Messi will win the Ballon d'Or this year. In fact, there will be a new star who'll bring an end to the Ronaldo-Messi era that has dominated the Ballon d'Or since Kaka won it in 2007. As per Eric Macruth, a French journalist who works for French radio station RFI, it's Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric who will clinch the 2018 Ballon d'Or. “Exclusive #BallondOr: After counting half the votes, the head trio is as follows: 1) Modric 2) @raphaelvarane 3 @KMbappe. @xbarretfoot @RFIRadioFoot Info @RFIsports,” he tweeted. Earlier this year, Modric had also bagged the European Player of the Year and FIFA's Best Player awards, beating both Ronaldo and Messi. The Croat helped Real Madrid win the UEFA Champions League back in May for the third year on the trot. And then, the veteran played a pivotal role in guiding Croatia to the FIFA World Cup final in Russia. © Reuters Raphael Varane claiming the second spot on the list would not surprise many, owing to his exploits on the football pitch this year. Just like his club mate Modric, the French international won this year's UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid. And then, the star defender celebrated one of the biggest moments of his career as part of the French side that recently lifted the FIFA World Cup. The third name on the list, Kylian Mbappe, was touted to pip the likes of Ronaldo and Messi to claim the Ballon d'Or this year. The 19-year-old propelled Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to another Ligue 1 title earlier this year, starring alongside Neymar and Edinson Cavani in attack. He also got his name on the scoresheet in the final as France won the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1998. While we aren't sure whether the recent reports or the tweet that allegedly leaked the top 3 can be trusted, but the news will surely not go down for Ronaldo who was really keen on bagging the award this year. “I already know, in my heart, that I am one of the best players in history. Of course, I want to win this sixth Ballon d'Or!”, Raonaldo had said earlier this year.

It's all in good fun though, and there are usually no hard feelings at the end of the match. After all, cricket is a gentleman's game. As we all saw, India beat Pakistan in all the Asia Cup matches this year, and some Pakistani fans even went as far as to troll their own cricket team because of their performance. They cost around $750, which when converted to INR comes around Rs 55K. © Viral Bhayani Maniesh clearly is making the most out of them, and rightfully so. We would, too!
  16. Akshay Venkatesh is a well known and widely respected name in the world of mathematics. This year, he has been felicitated with the 'Fields Medal', also widely known as the Nobel Prize for Maths. While it's true that one is known for his success and accolades, we can't forget that behind every successful man, there is a tale of struggle that led him to this path. © Twitter Akshay's journey from a child prodigy to becoming a famous Mathematician began in New Delhi, where he was born. He moved to Perth, Australia with his family when he was just 2-years-old and was constantly winning all the Mathematics and Physics Olympiads, even when he was only 11. He managed to finish high school at the age of 13 and went on to become a graduate at the age of 16. While we were busy idolising Ranbir Kapoor's character in 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' when we were 20-years-old, Akshay had already earned his PhD! © Twitter He went on to do his postdoctoral research at the prestigious MIT, became a Clay Research Fellow and eventually became a professor at Stanford University. His contribution to the number theory, arithmetic geometry, topology, automorphic forms and ergodic theory is widely recognised. Besides Akshay Venkatesh, Caucher Birkar, a professor of Cambridge University, Peter Scholze of University Of Bonn and Allesio Figalli, an Italian mathematician have also been awarded the 'Fields Medal'. The 'Fields Medal' is awarded to mathematicians under the age of 40 and was inaugurated by John Charles Field, a Canadian mathematician who ran the Mathematics Congress back in 1924. The recipients receive an award of 15,000 Canadian dollars for the same.
  17. The 2018 FIFA World Cup Final is just around the corner as mighty Croatia take on European giants, France in Moscow. The Croatians are featuring at this stage of the tournament for the first time in their history, but the French have been here before as they are looking to reclaim the World Title they won back in 1998. But between these teams and the World title lies a 90-min battle and 22-players who will be highly motivated to get their hands on the 7-kg gold trophy. Source: Reuters While the French are the clear favourites here, Croatia is considered the dark horse to lift the title, and with their motivation expected to be sky high, we can't be certain of who shines. One player in particular who would want to break a jinx at World Cup finals is Daniel Subasic. He would be more motivated than anyone else to ensure he does not add to an unwanted record and prove the Monaco Theory a real thing. What is the Monaco Theory? Here are the hard facts that are laid out on the table for all to see. The World Cup Final of 2006, 2010 and 2014 all featured a Monaco goalkeeper who ended up on the losing side. Fabien Barthez for France in 2006, Maarten Stekelenburg for the Netherlands in 2010 and Sergio Romero in 2014 for Argentina all ended up on the losing side at the World Cup Final. To make matters interesting, there is the presence of Daniel Subasic who is playing his club football at Monaco and is in the World Cup Final with Croatia as they take on France. Source: Reuters Will Subasic break the jinx of the Monaco goalkeeper conundrum to lift the title with Croatia? Or will the Monaco goalkeeper theory reach another level and continue the unwanted jinx, this time on Croatia?

  21. Going through a crude mixture of data, econometrics, and machine learning, Goldman Sachs has predicted that Brazil will win the FIFA World Cup in Russia this year. Goldman Sachs arrived at the answer by firing up machine learning to run 2,00,000 scenarios, mining team data and individual player attributes that enabled them to project-specific match scores. This process has enabled them to project-specific match results after which they have simulated over 1 million variations of the tournament draw to calculate the probable winner. © FIFA This isn't the first time their AI has tried to predict a tournament winner. Goldman Sachs had also predicted back in 2014 that Brazil would lift the World Cup. Unfortunately, Brazil lost to Germany in the semi-final, leading to a final clash between Germany and Argentina, which the former won 1-0. According to the study, France has better chances of winning the cup than Germany but its semi-final match with Brazil is likely to dash all its hopes. Russia although being the host and in a fairly easy group, they are forecasted to crash out of the tournament in the group stages itself. © FIFA In the other semi-finals, Germany will finally put an end to Cristiano Ronaldo's campaign to win a World Cup as the Die Mannschaft have better odds against Portugal. Argentina and Spain are expected to underperform, both crashing out in the quarterfinals. The authors of the study have added a disclaimer as well stating, "But the forecasts remain highly uncertain, even with the fanciest statistical techniques, simply because football is quite an unpredictable game. This is, of course, precisely why the World Cup will be so exciting to watch." © Kremlin A separate AI run by researchers from the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany predict that Spain has the best chances of winning at 17.8 percent after 100,000 different simulations. The predictions are based on the standard decision tree model, which suffers from a problem known as overfitting. Overfitting refers to a model that models the training data too well. Overfitting happens when a model learns the detail and noise in the training data to the extent that it negatively impacts the performance of the model on new data. Source: Goldman Sachs

  24. No one messes with Ranveer Singh on the red carpet. We are talking about his unbeaten track record of sartorial conquests, of course. Who will dare take on this wicked magician and challenge him on his own brand of sorcery? One brave warrior, however, dared to do that recently. Pulkit Samrat wore a super elaborate, shiny, blingy jacket on the same premises as Ranveer - while the latter was donning one of his signature blazers - heavily embroidered with flower details and shiny AF. In short, it was a war. Take a look. Ranveer was unapologetically eye-catching as usual, in his shiny disco ball regular self. He wore an ultra-dramatic, super-detailed blazer that had bright, bold floral embroidery on a shiny silver base. © Viral Bhayani Pulkit, unexpectedly, hit it outside the park with his never before seen avatar. Giving stiff competition to Ranveer's silver, he wore a vibrant, striking blazer that had a bold statement floral print in shocking gold on a midnight blue base. © Viral Bhayani It was quite the contrast, rather literally. While Ranveer looked resplendent in his silver extravagance, Pulkit looked like royalty in his golden grace. It was difficult to take one's eyes off either one of them. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani Ranveer likes to go the extra mile. Staying true to his signature style, he paired up his blazer with a shiny muted blue waistcoat and a matching bowtie. He wore a pair of classy black leather shoes and his favourite bold tinted sunnies to make the look pop. © Viral Bhayani Pulkit's jacket had an edge over Ranveer in terms of the detailing. It has a tie-around flap that gave it a very sophisticated, high fashion silhouette. Pulkit chose to wear a pair of dual-toned midnight blue pair of loafers that clearly helped in amping up his style game. © Viral Bhayani Ranveer might just have finally found a worthy companion when it comes to his sartorial adventures on the red carpet. However, when it comes to this war at hand, both of them smashed it - and even after close careful inspection and long deliberation, we could not pick a clear winner. Can you?
