  1. With the release of 'Logan' in 2017, we probably saw the end of one of the most iconic characters in the last decade and a half. Played by none other than Hugh Jackman, the character Wolverine was brought to life in a way no other man could have. So much so, that it is now very hard to imagine someone else playing the character. © Marvel One thing, in particular, that was very commendable about it was the way Hugh developed his physique over the years. From the first 'X-Men' movie to the last one, you could see a noticeable improvement in his physique as he got more and more ripped as time went by. He recently mentioned in an interview that he has been following Intermittent Fasting (IF) protocol to get in shape. This generated bucket loads of interest in IF and it made IF one of the trending topics on both Twitter and Google. As it is with everything else, people have started talking and wondering if IF is the ultimate secret to getting fit and ripped? Is Intermittent Fasting The Secret We've Been Looking For Since Ages? Before I answer this question, let's first look at what Intermittent Fasting is and how it works? Intermittent Fasting is simply the time between eating and non-eating. It is a dietary-pattern rather than a diet which most people mistake it for and start thinking that IF is what makes them lose fat/get ripped. It is just a conscious decision to fast and then eat. This means you consume your calories within an eating window which in turn makes it harder to overeat for some people. © Getty Images The most popular way of doing IF is setting fasting and an eating window, for example fasting for 16 hours and then eating within the remaining 8 hours of the day. Although there are other protocols that people follow such as the alternate day fasting method where you eat normally for 24 hours and then fast for the next 24 hours. Another method is eating normally for 5 days a week and fast for 2 days. You might have noticed by now, all that these patterns do is that they stop you from eating for a certain period of time. Now, if you think about how you lose weight, the simple answer would be to eat less than what your body needs to maintain its weight. Any rational person here would understand that any dietary pattern that helps you eat less would help you lose weight, it's not magic, just good old science. In the case of Hugh Jackman, you have to remember that he is a genetically lean guy and he finds it hard to put on weight rather than losing it. © Twitter/realhughjackman Any person who finds it hard to put on weight will always get lean putting in a lot less effort than some who is on the heavier side genetically. So much so, he was put on a diet of around 4,500 calories when he was bulking up and around 3000 calories when he was cutting down (yes, a dream for most of us). Will It Work For You? If you are someone who likes to consume larger, less frequent meals, then IF can help you stick to your diet better which can, in turn, help you lose weight faster. But if you are thinking that just following the Intermittent Fasting protocol will help you get ripped, you have a very big misconception. As mentioned above, you'll only lose weight if you eat less food than what your body needs to achieve its weight i.e in a caloric deficit, not eating at certain times and not eating at others. Is It Safe? Studies have shown that almost all the patterns of Intermittent Fasting are harmless and can help people who like to eat that way stick to their diet better, resulting in better weight loss. However, there has been no evidence whatsoever which shows that Intermittent Fasting will help you lose weight faster or improve your health markers when compared to a linear caloric deficit. 2. TV actors in the Indian industry are not just about good acting or playing second fiddle to lead women in 'saas bahu' dramas anymore. With the evolution of content on Indian television, the quality of acting and the way our actors portray themselves have remarkably changed in the last few years. Rajat Tokas, who is best known as Prithiviraj Chauhan and is currently seen in 'Naagin 3', has undergone quite an unbelievable transformation in the recent times. © Instagram Yeah, that's the same guy, with a better body and even better acting skills now. While his fans have been wondering how did this happen, Rajat has managed to surprise everyone continuously when he became super ripped for his stint in 'Naagin 3'. View this post on Instagram It's so disappointing that after so much hardwork, there's different angles to make you look good or bad. A post shared by Rajat Tokas (@rajattokas19) on Sep 30, 2018 at 1:53am PDT View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rajat Tokas (@rajattokas19) on Oct 23, 2018 at 3:16am PDT Get it? How they hell he manages to work round the clock and maintain that crazy physique is beyond our understanding but the talented actor is not letting anything stop him now. Rajat recently shared a picture of his ripped self urging Marvel Studios to actually cast him as the next Wolverine and well, the man's got the abs to back it up as well. View this post on Instagram @marvelstudios all I need is one opportunity to prove myself. And trust me I won't disappoint. Never have, never will. Will literally live and breathe the character... A post shared by Rajat Tokas (@rajattokas19) on Feb 7, 2019 at 9:33pm PST Wonder what Hugh Jackman has got to say about Rajat being in his shoes! © Marvel Well, if the hunt is indeed on, we'd love to see our 'desi' Wolverine get some claws and nail the character.
  3. When we talk about superheroes, we can't help but think of a few who've really proven their mettle and strength through some tested times. Wolverine definitely comes in the forefront and when we saw him in Logan last, we were literally heartbroken to learn that Wolverine would never be seen again or at least that what Hugh Jackman claimed back then. © Twitter But now, Google suggests that Wolverine will be coming back and making an appearance in the most awaited movie of 2019, 'Avengers: Endgame', and we're so stoked with this news, we're hoping it's pretty damn true! The news poured in when Google figured the most 'searched' part of the upcoming movie was 'famous Hugh Jackman films' and the result was obviously showing 'Avengers: Endgame'. Fancy that! © Walt Disney Studios Although we do hear that if Wolverine does present himself in the new Avengers, Hugh Jackman won't be playing him. That's absolutely uncool since we really can't imagine anyone else fitting into that role. So, if he needs to play the character one last time, it's no biggie right? Are you reading Hugh? But even so, the search engine still believes Jackman is part of Endgame regardless and has put all its hopes and desires into making that happen, and we're definitely rooting for the same. Well, why shouldn't we? Since Fox and Disney are heading for a merger anyway, the possibility of Wolverine, Deadpool and X-Men being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is very probable indeed! © Twitter Are you lost and confused? Well, why don't you open your favourite search engine and type 'Hugh Jackman' and see what comes up? Or we'll show it you. Here's a screenshot! © MensXP Sigh! This is what a good year is made up of and we really hope this is true!
  4. Christmas is around the corner, and it's only normal to have themed parties. Hell, it's even cool to have them. But, things might just take a tricky turn when you've been pranked by your buddies. Looks like Ryan Reynolds just had to go through that when Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal pulled one on him. Actually, now that we look at it, it sure looks like Wolverine and Mysterio teamed up against Deadpool. © The Hollywood Reporter Ryan Reynolds just put up an Instagram post where he attended a party, wearing a super festive and ugly sweater that legit looks like a gift was wrapped with a massive golden ribbon (that has been made into a bow). His headline reads: "These fu*king a**holes said it was a sweater party." © Instagram/vancityreynolds Clearly, he's not amused. Hugh and Jake, on the other hand, look like they're about to collapse from laughing so hard. © Instagram/vancityreynolds Who needs enemies when you have friends like this? Anyway, what we discovered is that we are ready for another crossover that has Wolverine, Deadpool, and Mysterio. Marvel, are you listening?
  5. When you think of Shahrukh Khan, one of the first things that come to mind is that one pose. You know the one I'm talking about. He does it all the time. All the time. Way too much, sometimes. Sorry Leo, he's the original king of the world. Honestly, the pose is as iconic as he is. Maybe a little more, maybe. Shahrukh Khan and his pose has been an inspiration for a lot of actors, but out of that long list of people, there's one name that stands out because of how unexpected it is. Any guesses? It's Wolverine, himself! This is Bollywood meeting Hollywood in the best way. Both Shahrukh Khan and Hugh Jackman are undoubtedly two of the biggest superstars in the film industry, and when the two worlds collide in such a good way, it's always incredible to see. Even though Hugh will always be Wolverine for us, he's venturing out into different genres now. Currently, he's promoting his movie 'The Greatest Showman', which is a musical. © 20th Century Fox Recently, during the movie's promotion, he referred to Shah Rukh Khan as his mentor. He had nothing but praises for the King Khan, calling him “Bollywood's greatest showman.” Reportedly, he said, “I have done a lot of dancing and singing in this film and I had Shah Rukh Khan in mind while shooting it. He is my mentor and I need to take more dance lessons from him. I have also done the signature SRK move, spreading my arms wide. I would love to see Shah Rukh in the Indian version of the film.” © 20th Century Fox There's no doubt that Hugh is really fond of Shahrukh, and the feeling is mutual. My lov & thx 2 my friend @RealHughJackman for always inspiring us with his performances. U r The Greatest Showman in Wolverine's clothing. — Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) December 22, 2017 So much bromance, we're loving it! Apparently, the two actually met a couple of years ago, and instantly formed a friendship. Here's a video of both of them dancing, because we all need this kind of positivity in our lives. Friends who dance together, stay together.
  6. The world knows John Cena as a talented actor and one of the greatest WWE stars of all time. But, not many people know that he also a great tutor, who can teach you things that nobody else knows about or has ever tried. Like how to play baseball with a cricket bat! © twitter While Cena turned out to be a good teacher, it was his student Hugh Jackman who stole the show like a true boss. Yes, the powerful action stars of reel and real life came together on 'The Late Show With James Corden' and brought the whole house down with their badass charm. Anger and compliments do not go hand in hand, but Cena taught Jackman how say some of the nicest things, in an aggressive manner. While we all have heard about and indulged in trash talking, the trick that Cena showed is called 'reverse trash talking'. Sounds fancy, eh? © 20th century fox But soon enough, Jackman learnt the trick and complimented Cena (with all the rage and anger intact), and proved that no one can mess with Wolverine. He said, “Is that it, John Cena, is that it? With your blue eyes, and your perfect hair, and your beautiful three-piece suit, your fashionable, expensive, three-piece suit!” He went on to say, “You look amazing, John Cena, you understand me? You are amazing!” © CBS While, the audience burst out in cheers, John Cena and James Corden were left shell-shocked and amazed after Jackman was done talking. Honestly, Jackman sounded like a Delhi boy who lives in Lucknow, but can't let go off his 'Dilli se hoon' attitude. It all started when Corden asked Cena about his talent to reverse trash talk and he showed the world how it's actually done. In fact, after Jackman was done with his gig, all that Cena could say was “He's ready!” Well, we agree with you Cena, just unleash Jackman in front of your opponents already. And with this gig, the best student of year award definitely goes to Jackman for complimenting the crap out of Cena. Hugh Jackman is one versatile actor, whose talent knows no boundaries. After blowing our minds away with movies like 'Logan', 'The Wolverine', 'X-Men' series, 'Prisoners' and 'Les Misérables'; Jackman is back with yet another stellar movie 'The Greatest Showman'. © 20th century fox It is a biopic based on P.T. Barnum, founder of legendary Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The movie also stars Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Zendaya and Rebecca Ferguson. In fact, it is for the first time ever that a live trailer was aired for a movie.
  7. If you think you are falling short on reasons to watch the 'X-Men' series from the scratch, we just found one ultimate reason for you and no it's not an addition of a new character. The reason is James McAvoy. © Twitter Why? Because how else can we believe that this man who we are going to talk about now is the same guy, who once went to extreme lengths as Mr. Tumnus to help his friend Lucy Pevensie, from the White Witch in 'Chronicles of Narnia'. This is the same guy who later went on to become Professor X in the Marvel Universe, a telekinesis expert who f**ked our minds like no one else. And if you can stretch your mind a little far back, you might even imagine him as Robbie Turner from 'Atonement', Bruce Robertson from 'Filth' or Kevin Wendell Crumb from 'Split'. The point is we don't think we are the only ones who remember James McAvoy, solely for one of these avatars. A skinny or let's say a regular British bloke, who was never close to being hench. © Twitter But, now the tables have turned, and how! Folks, let's welcome James McAvoy version 2.0, who looks nothing short of a beast. © Instagram His chest and arms are popping out like crazy, so are our eyes after looking at this unbelievable transformation that our beloved Professor X has undergone for his upcoming movie. © Marvel Entertainment This year, McAvoy floored his fans with his exceptional performance in 'Split', where he played 23 different personalities (he suffers from Dissociative Personality Disorder). All these personalities combine to form the 24th personality called 'The Beast' and these pictures are convincing enough. © Blinding Edge Pictures These photos of him walking on the streets Philadelphia, with an attitude that shouts “I don't care how long you stare at me”, is breaking the internet and making his female fans lose their minds. © Twitter It's not photoshop, folks! This is 38-year-old McAvoy's hard work for his role in M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming movie 'Glass', a sequel to 'Split', which is expected to release in 2019. This movie will also feature Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Sports science!thanks for the Knowledge @magnuslygdback Strong as Glass! #sportsscience #seriouslifting #quadpulldows #bodybuilding #magnuslygdback #seriousgainz #seriousgains #gains #glassmovie #Unbearable #splitmovie #gymlife A post shared by James Mcavoy (@jamesmcavoyrealdeal) on Nov 16, 2017 at 5:11am PST The internet is losing its mind over McAvoy's insane transformation and we can totally understand why. 8. His magnetic appeal and physicality helped him slip into the skin of ‘Logan' in the ‘X Men' cinematic universe and Hugh Jackman absolutely owned the role. In fact, the foremost reason for the audience admitting that ‘X-Men' film series is incomplete without ‘Wolverine' is Hugh Jackman's remarkable portrayal of the mutant who possesses superhuman healing abilities and metal claws that protrude from his knuckles. Hugh Jackman has been a part of the ‘X-Men' franchise since the first movie of the series came out in 2000. Hugh Jackman who always played ‘Logan' as grumpy but hiding a deep ocean of pain within him has been successful in seizing ‘Wolverine's' essence as a haunted warrior. That is why, in-spite of being one of the finest stage actors and an Oscar nominee, he will probably be known as ‘Wolverine', forever. After the embodiment of the quintessential ‘Wolverine', Hugh Jackman is to be seen as ‘The Greatest Showman' in a movie of the same name. This movie is based on the 1952 drama film, ‘The Greatest Show on Earth'. The iconic movie celebrated the extravagant three-ring circus and depicted the passionate love and jealousy behind the greatest show on Earth. © 20th Century Fox This adaptation will be a biographical musical about the celebrated American showman, P.T. Barnum, who founded the traveling circuses and The Ringling Bros. While Hugh Jackman is set to play the protagonist Barnum, the film also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams and singer-dancer, Zendaya. © 20th Century Fox Jackman was also working on a musical comedy titled ‘Larrikins' that was expected to release in early 2018. The film would surely have been a treat to his fans. Other Australian actors like Margot Robbie, Naomi Watts, and Rose Byrne were also to be a part of this film. Unfortunately, the movie was scrapped by DreamWorks Animation in early March 2017. © Instagram - Hugh Jackman Hugh Jackman will also be seen with Mark O'Brien in an upcoming Hollywood political drama ‘The Frontrunner' based on the book ‘All the Truth is Out: The Week Politics Went Tabloid' by Matt Bai. The movie examines the journey of American Senator Gary Hart in the world of politics. Jackman will play Hart in ‘The Frontrunner', while O'Brien, 33, will play his aide-de-camp, Billy Shore. © Instagram - Hugh Jackman Jackman is pragmatically one of the best performers to have donned the spandex and played superheroes in ongoing franchises; so it's no doubt that ‘Logan' is the perfect and flawless adieu to ‘Wolverine'. He may have considered staying on for a few more films with the ‘X-Men' franchise if there had been an edge with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Nevertheless, fans who were left disappointed with his farewell in the last ‘Wolverine' film couldn't have asked for a better ending. © Instagram - Hugh Jackman Superheroes have been ruling the box office, giving rise to franchises in this genre. ‘Wolverine' or ‘Logan' is synonymous with Hugh Jackman and that portrayal will be cherished forever. His departure is a swift turn, not just for the series but also for the genre. Such is the impact of Hugh's unmatched performance. Before you go, let's relive that epic scene when Wolverine was on steroids in ‘Logan.' It took 17 years, but we finally got to see the true and savage Wolverine on screen!!
  9. Hugh Jackman seems to have taken over the internet with his latest film ‘Logan’. Wolverine fans can’t stop raving about it and critics seem to be all praises for it as well. Twitter And in the midst of it all, Indians can’t stop imagining how awesome it’d be to have Shah Rukh Khan play Wolverine in the next film. Though, you can’t really blame us because it was Hugh Jackman himself who put this idea in our heads. While promoting ‘Logan’ in Taiwan, Hugh Jackman was asked if he can imagine anyone else playing Wolverine. ‘Maybe Shah Rukh Khan’ was his answer. BCCL So, of course, fans took to Twitter to beg SRK to be Wolverine. But SRK had a very valid reason to feel otherwise. Hair on the chest lady…need hair on the chest!! Working on it though. Love Hugh & Wolverine. https://t.co/LZKOqhLPdU — Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) March 3, 2017 Still doesn’t sound like a complete no, though. Let’s hope this happens!
  10. The entire world was left in a shocking state when it was recently revealed that Hugh Jackman was battling cancer for the sixth time. The beloved ‘Wolverine’ had his fans praying for his recovery after he shared the sad news with the world on his Instagram. Another basal cell carcinoma. Thanks to frequent body checks and amazing doctors, all is well. Looks worse with the dressing on than off. I swear! #wearsunscreen A post shared by Hugh Jackman (@thehughjackman) on Feb 13, 2017 at 12:42pm PST But like they say, prayers get answered, and good things come to those who wait. Hugh Jackman recently shared on his social media that doctors have successfully treated his nasal cell carcinoma. Obrigado São Paulo, obrigado Brasil, feliz carnaval! Saúde! #wponx @20thcenturyfox A post shared by Hugh Jackman (@thehughjackman) on Feb 20, 2017 at 11:22am PST Here’s wishing that he stays cancer free and continuing giving us more reasons to watch him on the big screen.
  11. For millennials, Hugh Jackman will always be the definitive Wolverine. Sadly though, his upcoming film ‘Logan’ will be his last take on the role. But that’s not as sad as the news that Jackman broke recently. If you didn’t know, Jackman has had a cancer condition for a couple of years now and it keeps recurring. This time around, it came back for the sixth time. Jackman broke the news almost 15 hours back via an Instagram post and told his fans that he is fighting it with all his might. Another basal cell carcinoma. Thanks to frequent body checks and amazing doctors, all is well. Looks worse with the dressing on than off. I swear! #wearsunscreen A post shared by Hugh Jackman (@thehughjackman) on Feb 13, 2017 at 12:42pm PST The post already has quarter of a million well wishes and growing. He wrote- “Another basal cell carcinoma. Thanks to frequent body checks and amazing doctors, all is well. Looks worse with the dressing on than off. I swear! #wearsunscreen”. © YouTube Basal cellcarcinoma, also known as BCC, is type of skin cancer caused due to excessive exposure to sunlight. Although it’s not fatal, it surely can cause disfigurement if left untreated. Hi most recent encounter with it was back in 2013. Since then he has been treated 5 times for the same condition. We wish our beloved superhero a speedy recovery!
